Let me get one thing out the way first. Houston, the Astros are smacking up the Texas Rangers. The score is 10 to 3 in the bottom of the eighth. Yeah, that means the Houston Astros are about to tie up the ALCS at two games apiece. That's going down in Dallas right now.

Or I should say Arlington. Okay, I don't need people sending me messages. All right. Listen, also at the same time, thank you so much to the New Orleans Saints for actually making this a game down in New Orleans right now. I was telling you how ugly this game was between the Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints.

Okay. I said that the fans in New Orleans deserve better in the Superdome and damn it, they got it because the game is now tied at 24 all about six and a half minutes left in the game. Now six minutes left in the game. Michael Thomas just scored on a 17 yard touchdown reception. The Saints were also able to go out there and convert to two point conversion. And so the score is now tied at 24 all. Pretty ugly based on what we saw because heading into halftime, the Jacksonville Jaguars led 17 to 6. And so here in the second half, the New Orleans Saints able to score on a pick six able or excuse me, they were able to score on a Taysom Hill touchdown, a Michael Thomas touchdown, and now they were all tied up. So let's see what Jacksonville can do as they try to walk away with a victory.

At least the Saints have made this a competitive game. A game that did take place earlier on today, the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies. The final score there, two to one. So the Diamondbacks have now moved this series to two and one instead of the Phillies going up three to nothing.

And it came down to a walk-off. Cattell Marte sending home the game-winning run for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Let's take a listen to that play.

It's courtesy of the Diamondbacks Radio Network. And the 0-1 pitch. Swing! Base hit! Diamondbacks win!

And the score is Smith. Marte gets his third hit of the ball game. And the Diamondbacks are alive and well in the National League Championship Series. They win game three.

They come back home. They beat the Phillies two to one on a walk-off by Marte. Yeah, congratulations to the Diamondbacks for just really not being swept. They also have an opportunity to tie this series up tomorrow. But I still think the Phillies have this one in the bag. So we'll keep you up to date on Houston and the Texas Rangers whenever this game goes final. And then we'll keep you up to date as well on the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Saints tied at 24. All a little less than five minutes left in this game. Last hour we also talked about the WNBA Finals. The New York Liberty after their loss and after the Aces have now won back-to-back championships.

The Liberty fine $25,000. Several of their players not speaking to the media after that heartbreaking loss. We talked about Saquon Barkley.

Made it very clear today to the media kind of crowding around his locker. Saquon does not want to be traded. Even though the New York Giants are one and five.

Even though they're going nowhere. Even though Daniel Jones is currently out with a neck issue. Even though Saquon still doesn't have a long-term contract and the Giants are probably going to have to reset. Saquon is pleading his case. Says he doesn't want to go anywhere. A matter of fact this is what Saquon said at his locker. And then I want to compare this to a guy in the NBA who actually wants to trade. Listen to Saquon.

That never crossed my mind. Obviously I've been public and vocal about how I feel about this organization and where I want to be. But like I said, knowing the business and seeing that side of it, there's a lot of things that I can't control. So sitting here, everyone knows how I feel. Everyone knows I don't want to get traded.

I don't think anybody in their right mind would want to get traded anywhere. It's not an easy thing to do. You got to move. I have a family. I would love to be here. But like I said, it's not in my control.

My focus is to be the leader I can be for the team and try to get this thing on the right track. I guess it makes a little bit more sense now. He says no one in their right mind would want to be traded. I'm sure he's talking specifically about the NFL, because when you move over to the NBA, it's like these guys don't care. These dudes are, they want to be traded.

Damian Lillard is like, hey, we, the Portland Trailblazer, we not going anywhere. You need young guys? I don't need young guys.

Trade me. Move me. He goes to Milwaukee. James Harden right now, he's going to make it very clear. He wants to be traded. He don't want to play in Philadelphia. For the second consecutive day, James Harden did not show up to work. Earlier this week, he sat in front of the media, told everybody the relationship is beyond repair. He and Daryl Morey, who he now only refers to as a management, it doesn't matter what's taking place over the past 10 years. James Harden said it was like a marriage that failed.

The trust is gone. I guess it's gone like his game. Still an all-star who can score 20 points and get you 10 assists. Still someone who can pop off for 40 points.

But all of those performances are starting to be few and far in between, and it's coupled with a lot of bad performances. And so James Harden, as Saquon Barkley said, who in their right mind would want to be traded, James Harden not in his right mind. This guy's upset he didn't get a massive contract, like he's, has he looked at his stats, his numbers, the consistency, the injuries? Who the hell wants to pay him? And if anybody did want to pay him, he would have been traded by now. A matter of fact, he wouldn't have to even opt into his contract with the 76ers, because there would have been teams begging to bring him on. Who wanted him?

Nobody. And so he's pulling a power play right now. A couple of days ago he said, I'm gonna play the preseason finale against the Hawks, and then he disappears. Yesterday's teammates had to answer, where's James Harden?

Joe Lembide says, maybe he has somewhere to be. Nick Nurse yesterday says, well, we can only work with the dudes who are here. That's exactly what we're going to do. And I guess at some point, Daryl Morey and the Sixers are going to get sick of this dude and just say, you know what, man? Goodbye. We don't need the distraction.

We don't need to talk about you. They're going to have to trade James Harden. It's just what it is. Nick Nurse asked about it, asked about James Harden. This is what he said. Second day, you know, James, did he reach out to you guys to give you an update on his situation?

Why he's not here? Well, I think the organization has made it clear what's going on. They're working on stuff, as we say, day by day.

So that's it. We had a really good practice today. Very energetic. The guys that were here, that's what we're focused on. Yeah, the front office is trying to get him the hell up on out of here. We're focused in on playing the games. We had a good practice.

Don't ask me about James Harden. This is almost like a game where you're playing a game where you're playing a game where you're playing a game. This is almost like Aaron Rodgers watch. Nobody wants to deal with this every day. Nobody wants to deal with this on a week-to-week basis.

What are we going to do tomorrow? A reporter is going to roll up to Nick Nurse and say, well, it's day three with no James Harden. What is Nick Nurse supposed to say? The reporter is kind of obligated to ask the question, and then Nick Nurse has to stand there and give the same answer.

Nobody wants to do this for the next week, let alone when we actually get into the regular season. And so me personally, I want to see James Harden go to the Clippers because I want to see how the Clippers would crash and burn this upcoming season if they were to add James Harden. It's a lot of mixing and matching. It's a lot of healthy and hurt. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, even as he gets older, what is he, he's going to play 82 games?

Probably something close to it, maybe. And everybody else is just going to be in and out the lineup, and they're going to have to hope that you can slap all four of these dudes on the court in the postseason. And then also at the same time, they're big, but they're not all that damn big. I'm here for a disaster. Move James Harden to LA, and let's just see the, I don't want to call it the freak show in action. Let's just, let's just see a disaster.

Let's see a horror movie. Let's see what they do with James Harden in this contract. This is going to be one of those sad ends to a career, because at what point is James Harden going to accept he's not the same guy and that he's burned enough bridges by now where he ain't worth it, man. He's not.

And so I hope Daryl Morey gets him the hell out of there sooner than later. Now, having said that, you might want to take this with a grain of salt. It's also been rumors and reports that, that Joel Embiid already possibly wants out that he might want to go to the New York Knicks.

I'm like, come on, man. I'm not going to look into that too much. There's a report by Chris Broussard.

This has nothing to do with the deliverer of the message or the rumor. What the hell would Joel Embiid do for the Knicks? I mean, what, what, what would be the difference with Joel Embiid on the Knicks versus the Sixers? He'd be moving from Maxie to Brunson.

Okay. Brunson, all star level talent. I would say the same thing for Maxie is he gets a little bit older. This is not some get you over the hump type situation. And then Joel Embiid, as great as he is, or at least in the regular season, winning an MVP, the guy completely choked in the post-season against the Celtics. Why would he torture himself playing for the Knicks? He could stay in Philadelphia for all the same exact things.

Why waste your time? You're not moving into the upper echelon of the East. You ain't helping the team get better. And for all the criticism that you would receive and have received in Philadelphia, New York wouldn't have a heart for you. You could at least say in Philadelphia, you want an MVP.

The fans went through the process. There is an emotional attachment, whether he's good or bad. People in Philadelphia could say, Joel Embiid, that's our guy. We went through it.

He won and we're hoping we win. And, and they put bad teams around him. Philadelphia can go through all of that. And he can live with the criticism, good, bad, or nothing in between. If Joel Embiid joins the Knicks, there's nothing positive for him unless he wins a championship.

Nothing but criticism. He didn't play enough. He was hurt.

He choked in the post-season. This is what we traded for. Man, stay in Philadelphia. I don't know if the rumors are true. I don't, I don't think they are. We'll find out soon enough. It's the JR sport re-show here on CBS Sports Radio. The Jacksonville Jaguars just scored. They now lead the Saints 31 to 24. Three minutes left in the game.

And now the Saints who have shown some more life here in the second half, they're tasked with coming back to the game and answering. Meanwhile, right now, in Arlington, Texas, the Houston Astros still lead the Rangers 10 to 3. It's the bottom of the ninth. One out.

Yeah. And this is just a matter of time before the Astros tie this series at 2-all. As I look through the crowd here at Globe Life, it's looking kind of empty.

A lot of fans have, with good reason, already headed to the exits. It's the JR sport re-show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. I'm going to come back. I'll give you an update on both of these games. I do want to talk some NFL. You know, I just mentioned Joel Embiid. I don't know how much he's going to play.

I expect him to be hurt in some places. I'm going to give you an update on some NFL QBs who may or may not be playing this upcoming Sunday, plus the updates on these games as well. It's the JR Sport Brief Show, JR Sport Brief Show, CBS Sports Radio.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. First off, I just want to say mad respect for your show. You always got a lot of good points. I agree with a lot of things you say. I just want to say I love your show.

Me and my grandpa listen to it every night. I needed a JR fix tonight. I'm glad that you're on. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It's the JR Sport Brief Show. It's the JR Sport Brief Show. It's the JR Sport Brief Show. It's the JR Sport Brief Show.

It's the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio. Damn it, we got two games that have gone down to the wire. One in Major League Baseball that just finished. Another one in the NFL that is going on right now.

How about this? The Houston Astros have tied up the American League Championship Series. Tonight the Astros beat the Texas Rangers. The final score is 10-2-3.

Absolute abuse, okay? They have an opportunity tomorrow afternoon to go ahead and take a lead. Whoever wins the game tomorrow will take a 3-2 lead. The Houston Astros come back from a 2 or excuse me an 0-2 hole in the ALCS to win two consecutive games and so let's see what they do tomorrow. It looks like Justin Verlander is going to be on the mound tomorrow afternoon. That doesn't typically sound good for the Texas Rangers. Meanwhile, Thursday Night Football.

I told you this. Thank God the Saints were able to make it a game. Down 17-6 at halftime.

Not able to capitalize on turnovers. The Jacksonville Jaguars with about 30 seconds left here in the game. They lead 31-24. The New Orleans Saints have the ball. They're looking to see if they can potentially go out there and tie this up or maybe convert a two-point conversion and take the lead.

The Saints fans deserve it. Let's see what they do. We got a bunch of callers on the line. I want to make sure that we can get them on before we spend more time on the ALCS and then the conclusion of this game and so let's go ahead and talk to Joe. He's calling from Jersey. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hey, JR. What's up, man? I'm great. What's up? A lot of great games this weekend, man.

Pumped. But I just had a question for you. Looking forward to next week when the Jets play the Giants. Do you think if the commanders come in to MetLife and beat the Giants and then a week after that the Jets beat the Giants, do you think it's time for they're able to get fired? Because I never liked the guy anyway and I'm a huge Giants fan and I'm not the type of person that when the team's losing to say fire this, fire this. What's up, man? I got a simple answer for you.

The answer is no. You may dislike Brian Debo. I don't know why because he screams at the players when they mess up. No, he's not a head coach. He's a coordinator. He knows football.

That's a fact. He knows his football. He's just not a head coach like Dan Campbell or Rob Salah or Mike Tomlin or Mike Tomlin. Well, Joe, hold on. I'm gonna respond to you because there are people in Pittsburgh who want to get rid of Mike Tomlin and up until about a week or two ago there are a lot of people who look at Rob Salah and say this guy isn't even really the coach of the Jets so I'm gonna respond to you, Joe, and thank you for calling from Jersey. Come on, man. Give Brian Debo a damn break to say he's a coordinator.

Isn't that that's how half of these guys start off. First of all, let's forget about Mike Tomlin. He is a well-established head coach, okay? He has won a championship.

It doesn't matter who he had, who he inherited. He has yet to have a losing season. He is like furniture in Pittsburgh. Maybe that's why a lot of fans are used to him and want to get him the hell up on out of there. Now, outside of that, Rob Salah is a coordinator, defensive coordinator. People question whether or not he is even a head coach and so for Brian Debo to go to the postseason last year and to stink this year for a team last season that played its ass off because of his coaching, even though they had to walk a tightrope and now fire him this year, the Giants would be a clown show. You don't just fire dudes just to say one and five.

That doesn't make no sense. Let them go through the season and speaking of going through the season, the tight end Moreau for the New Orleans Saints, this man let a touchdown bounce off of his fingertips that would have pulled the Saints towards a potential extra point or a two-point conversion. He couldn't catch the ball and so the Jacksonville Jaguars are ultimately going to win this one 31 to 24 and Moreau is going to get a lot of the crap. People are going to make fun of him on social media.

Call him Butterfingers. He can't catch the ball. The fact of the matter is the Saints stunk the whole game. Moreau was over there on the sidelines being consoled by his teammates telling them it's not all his fault. He had his hand and his helmet in his hands and listen now it's a final score 31 to 24 final. The Jacksonville Jaguars have a 5-2 record. This is their best start since 2007.

Alvin Kamara being congratulated or congratulating Trevor Lawrence. Moreau's still there sitting on the bench. Everybody else is pretty much walking around leaving and he ain't got nothing to worry about. This is the worst part about sports. People will look at at one play as the decisive thing and yeah this sucks for the Saints all things considered. They now fall to three and four on the season but it ain't all his fault. I mean they stunk for the entire first half and he don't have nothing to do with that and so we can't play this one minute as the the make or break for the game.

Foster Moreau just letting a short touchdown go off of his fingertips. 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS. It's 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS. Greg is here from Michigan. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up Greg?

Hey JR, Mr. Positive. Brilliant analysis about James Harden but I got to ask you. Jim Harbaugh is in trouble with his sign stealing and recruiting. Now I got to ask you in sports and you're not actually going over to the other side and being a spy and getting information on a computer and all that stuff but isn't sign isn't sign stealing a part of sports?

For instance my friends have played pro baseball and they can tell by how a pitcher is going to throw by how his body language is where he puts his feet how they put their hands when they lean or they give you a heads up of what they're going to throw and you know they can figure it out. So because of what's happening with Harbaugh is is he doing something actually bad? Well what what my understanding is trying to decipher and figure out signs is perfectly fine in sports. What the Wolverines are being accused of right now isn't so much of hey we're looking at the opposing team's sideline trying to figure out what they're calling. Okay. It's the fact that maybe just maybe impossibly somebody from the Wolverines was spying on other teams practices not during the course of games.

So yeah you obviously can't do that. That that moves into uh Belichick's space of hey let's go ahead and put somebody upstairs during practice in a media room or uh in a press box. So JR they're not saying that in Michigan I did not know that there was a spy I thought it was just figuring out things. Whoa JR breaking that's breaking news here in Michigan.

Mr. Positive needs to uh we got to get to the bottom of this because every time I turn on and what's going to happen if he gets suspended oh he's going to go to the NFL. I think that's his real true intention he really wants to go to the NFL. I think he's just I don't know. He's been looking around at the NFL kind of flirting with it openly over the past several years.

I mean if the Minnesota Vikings wanted to offer him that job we we certainly know he would have walked through that door and he would have taken it. But we'll see what happens here. Uh yeah this this is not a matter of sign stealing on the opposite sideline.

There might be some issues where someone has been kind of peeking around some corners and so. Oh my god JR love you have a great night everybody go for your dreams. Thank you Greg for calling from Michigan. Yeah we don't know. Jim Harbaugh put a whole statement out on Twitter or X or whatever the hell you want to call it. He said I want to make it clear that I and my staff will fully cooperate with the investigation. I do not have any knowledge or information regarding the University of Michigan illegally stealing signs nor have I directed staff members or others to participate in an off-campus scouting assignment. I have no awareness of anyone on our staff having done that or having directed that action. Okay so maybe somebody did it on their own. This would be the latest thing for him to go out and and try to figure out or defend himself. And at this point yeah if Jim Harbaugh can get closer to a national championship then just maybe just maybe he'll be like I've had enough of this Michigan stuff I'm gonna go to the NFL and try to cash a check.

He's openly done it in the past. 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. We got a lot to talk about. A lot to get into. The American League Championship Series Game 4. It's a wrap. Thursday Night Football.

It is a wrap. We're going to hear some of the plays. I'm going to share with you some of the the players, the coaches. We got a lot to do. We're going to hear some of the players. We got a lot to do as the show continues on.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. Thank you, first off, for making my drive from the south side of Atlanta to the north side of Atlanta to the south side of Atlanta. First off, for making my drive from the south side of Atlanta to the north side every night bearable. I always enjoy listening to you man.

Intellectual and introspective. I appreciate you. I just started to listen to you about six months ago. Man, I love your show.

Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. I love you for loving the show. I love the fact that we had a Thursday Night Football game that actually had an interesting ending. And I mean interesting. If you're a fan of the Saints, it's probably just bad. The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans in the Superdome. The final score 31-24. The Jacksonville Jaguars improved their record to 5-2. They haven't started the season 5-2 since 2007 and meanwhile the Saints, their offense still struggles man.

Just trying to get points together. I mean at halftime they only had six points on the board. They were down 17-6. They ultimately bounced back. They fall to three and four on the season. Foster Monroe just drops a touchdown that would have helped them potentially tie up the game or ultimately maybe even take the lead. And we're going to talk a whole hell of a lot about this on the other side of the break.

Do a deeper dive. But let's take a listen to this drop touchdown pass which would have really changed the complexion of the game. This is Foster Monroe just letting the ball bounce off of his fingertips. Listen to the pain from my friends on WWL, the Saints Radio Network.

30 seconds. Third and goal. Carr to throw. Does throw to the end zone and that is it.

Complete right through the hands of Foster Monroe. Got two hands on it in the far corner of the end zone but could not bring it in. Yeah that's a corner route. I mean and that's maybe an inch too far but I don't know if you can throw it any better. I mean that's that's one you got to come up with.

Just one you got to make. Yeah he said oh maybe it's an inch too far but no you should have come down with it. No.

No. Let that man let the ball go off of his fingertips. He dropped the pass. He dropped what would have been maybe possibly been the game tying touchdown.

He didn't get the job done. And then he sat on the bench and he was disappointed his his friends or not his friends but his teammates Alvin Kamara had to come get him off the bench. And then they had another chance at a touchdown. Derek Carr trying to connect with Olave and it didn't work out.

This is also the Saints Radio Network. If you didn't like the sound of disappointment in that last play call, listen to this one. Here comes Fresher throws. Fords the end zone and that is going to be incomplete and no flags. Trying to hit Olave on the far side of the end zone. He got down there and just you're throwing a fade route to Olave and he just can't he can't get off of it.

And so whether you say it's pass interference or whether you say you know he's got to be physical at the point of attack and he's just he pushes him and he's able to win. Brown just wins that one-on-one matchup and so they're very unfortunate and uh yeah they let those guys play right there and try to get your guys shot at it and can't make the play. Yeah that that was basically the game and so the Saints they're going to be annihilated. They're having a difficult time just scoring any type of or getting any type of points right now.

If you got to think about what they've been able to do, listen to this. The Saints ran 31 more offensive plays than the Jaguars and they still had to work to come from behind. Forget Foster Morose, drop touchdown. They stunk and so I know it's gonna feel bad for him. He missed out on a chance to help his team. Ain't all his fault. He's not playing defense and yeah what what happened to the offense earlier in the game?

It's not all Foster Morose's fault. 8-5-5 2-1-2 for CBS. It's 8-5-5 2-1-2 for CBS.

I want to dive deeper into Thursday Night Football at the top of the hour. Right now Bruce Bochy currently speaking to the media as the Houston Astros have tied up the American League Championship Series to all. Houston wins tonight 10-3 and and it was just a beat down. I mean early on to just open things up you had Alex Bregman he's scoring on a two-run triple and we got home runs flying all over the place. You know what let's hey hey Shep can would America care about uh people hate the Astros right don't they hate them? I think they're respecting them more and more because of Dusty because there's not as much cheating with this particular squad.

Oh yeah that doesn't seem to be cheating they're just beating people up. Well you know what let's irritate some folks and let's listen to some of these runs because Houston poured it on and now they've come back from an 0-2 hole to tie up the series at two all. I told you Alex Bregman he got it started a two-run triple in the first to get him on the board. The 1-1 and Bregman clubs this one pretty deep to right center field Tavares on his horse he won't get there that's into the gap and hits the wall on and hits the wall on a hop that'll score Altuve Dubon tearing around third he will score as well in the third way the two-run triple is Alex Bregman and the Astros have a two to nothing lead Bregman slides in just ahead of Young's tag and then they added another run Yordan Alvarez said you know what I'm not going to hit a triple too damn big he has an RBI single. Pitch on the way and Alvarez smacks it in the center a base hit Bregman can walk home Yordan Alvarez makes it three to nothing Astros. And they're coming to play tonight the Astros swing in the bats very well no answers for Andrew Heaney Mike Maddox the pitching coach already out of the dugout and they've got somebody up Dane Dunning the right-hander. Yeah so I mean right out of the first inning the Houston Astros were already leading three to nothing and then between the second inning the third inning the Rangers were able to put up three runs of their own Garcia hit a home run uh Young scored Garver on a sacrifice Corey Seager came through he hit a home run in the third and so we were tied up three three when we moved into the fourth and then all hell broke loose okay Jose Altuve scored on a sacrifice fly made the game four to three and then Jose Abreu who had just been hitting all types of bombs here hit another bomb a three-run home run to break this game open this was also in the fourth inning listen to this two men on for Abreu the crowd's into it here's the pitch swing and a drive three-pointer from way down down Paula Calle Si SeƱor Abreu a three-run shot what a big hit it's seven to three Astros yeah Jose Abreu that was his fourth home run of the postseason I remember him with the Chicago White Sox I know my friends with the White Sox remember him with the White Sox it's nice to see him participating in games that that actually matter and so that home run broke the game open making it seven to three and then all hell continue to break loose if we hit fast forward to the top of the seventh the Astros are back at bat Chas McCormick said hey I don't know what a postseason home run feels like what does it feel like here it is a two-run bomb it's first of his postseason career phenomenal last two games with runners in scoring position 11 for 23 he's got a duck on the pond right now the old one pulls it left center field and hits it well going back good one good night yes sir McCormick nine to three Astros on the McCormick bomb I'm gonna save us some abuse we don't need to hear Alvarez's RBI single that made it ten to three so let's just take a listen to the final call where the Astros tied this series up at two all the 0-1 chopper left side Bregman to his left coming in bobbles for a moment throws to first low scooped out by Abreu and that is the ball game this ALCS is all even at two games apiece after the Astros defeat the Rangers for a second straight day winning game four by a final of ten to three thank you so much to the Astros radio network for all of the amazing Astros runs and calls and so the Astros are going to be back in action against these Rangers on Friday afternoon looking to take a 3-2 series lead or matter of fact whoever goes out there and wins the game it's going to take a 3-2 series lead and so Astros are like the undertaker the Astros have come back from the dead they got Verlander likely on the mound tomorrow against Jordan Montgomery that should be a good one if you want to take a look Verlander on the mound important game important opportunity a chance to go up and lead this series you gonna bet against Justin Verlander Justin Verlander I'm not not at all eight five five two one two four CBS Jim he's calling from Michigan you're on CBS sports radio what's up Jim hello can you hear me okay I can hear you loud and clear how are you uh real good thank you for taking my call I was talking about uh Michigan Wolverine football I think these allegations I know where they're coming from we just work a lot harder and these are just false allegations if you listen at 10 50 a.m Ann Arbor every weekday morning from 6 to 10 you hear our assistant coaches breaking down we're just working hard on film and you can see a lot of these plays sometimes developing where if you know we're watching so much film if so and so does so and so we're going to drop back in the cover too we're going to go to man to man and I don't want to play the race card here but I think there's also an element of not giving our players credit the people making these allegations as we start uh winning and winning and winning what we really are just working hard uh breaking down film you can listen every weekday morning listen to our assistant coaches and former players Jim thank you yes sir you you're starting to repeat yourself so I'm going to respond okay yes sir all right thank you for calling from Michigan a couple of things here you're in Ann Arbor I mean that's this is your squad you are you are you are tied deeply into what's going on with the school more so than I am okay without a shadow of a doubt and so yes in my busy day I am not up in the morning listening to uh Wolverine's radio I'm not I'm not I'm literally paying attention to see what they do are they going to beat Ohio State are they going to run through the rest of the regular season are they going to get to the college football playoff the answer is probably yes what are they going to do when they get there okay the allegations against them have nothing to do with being coached hard or being prepared I think most teams are preparing the allegations against them is whether or not they have somehow in some way looked at other teams practices and their preparations away from the facility we'll see whether or not it's true or not I have no idea but to just say uh listen to the guys on the radio the team is saying that you know they just study harder than everybody that that doesn't mean anything I mean everybody says that they work hard isn't that the case and so I mean it's unfounded this is why there's an investigation if there's nothing there there will be nothing there but I'm not going to sit here and just go up the coaches said that they didn't do anything so let's just ignore them now let's see what happens I ain't got no no skin in the game I don't care one way or the other we'll find out that's why there's an investigation eight five five two one two four cbs that's eight five five two one two four cbs we've had some interesting games and interesting endings this afternoon and this evening the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies to give themselves one game in the National League Championship Series in the American League Championship Series the Astros beat the living hell out of the Rangers to tie things up and in New Orleans Thursday Night Football the Jaguars they beat the Saints 31 to 24 interesting into the game as the tight end for the Saints Foster Moreau drops what could have been a game-tying touchdown wild stuff we're going to talk more NFL on the other side of the break talk more baseball it's the
