It is the JR Sport Brief show here on CBS Sports Radio. I hope you had a great Tuesday. If you didn't, that sucks. I'm going to be hanging out with you for the next four hours. I'm not here to make you make up for it, but I'm just going to do what I do. Just go sit here and try to have a good time.

You know what? I'm not even going to try to have a good time. I just am. You got an option. You got a choice.

You can hang around for the ride or you can just be lame. I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to super producer and host Dave Sheppard. He's coming to you live from New York City, days away, two days away, two nights away from the NBA draft. And Victor Wambunyama's going from the airport to the subway.

The man took the subway up to a New York Yankees game where he threw out the first pitch. We'll talk about that. NBA draft getting closer and closer.

It's Victor Wambunyama, three other guys, and that's it. And so we'll talk about that. Pat Riley, he's not worried about no young guys. He's trying to go out there and win a championship. Pat Riley spoke to the media today. We'll hear from Pat Riley later on in the show as to what exactly the Miami Heat are trying to do to actually get over the hump. So many conversations about Damian Lillard and Bam Adebayo and what do you do?

Who do you bring in? And so Pat Riley, the godfather of the NBA, spoke earlier today and we'll hear from him. The NFL decided to deliver some news as it relates to gambling. Quite a few of their players have been caught up in all types of incidents and problems and issues. And so now the NFL is trying to keep things as simple and clear as possible.

And I can't wait to see who decides to screw things up regardless. Anyway, Dalvin Cook has somebody that he wants to play with. Josh Jacobs is letting everybody know through social media.

He is not happy. We're going to get into Zion Williamson because Zion is now, it's moved into online harassment for Zion Williamson. And I guess what we can consider a former flame. I don't know what to call this lady.

I know she's a former porno star. I don't know. We'll get into that because it's just, it's been a quick fall for Zion. It's been a quick fall for him. It's been a quick fall for Zion and he's not even 23 years old yet. Maybe he can bounce back if he puts some of the Twinkies down, but we'll get into Zion Williamson. Speaking of Twinkies, there's a little bit of news surrounding James Harden and there's just, it's just a wild world that we live in.

It was only a couple of hours ago. Just, just kind of thinking about the show and what's going on that we've had just, you know, Tyreek Hill in the news. I don't think he's trying to, you replace Antonio Brown who had a arena league football or arena football league team kind of stripped from him or just dropped from the league completely. But Tyreek Hill, man, it's just, there's always something. Every now and then he pops up and reminds everybody just, just how bad things have been.

And so we got a lot to do, a lot to discuss. We'll, we'll talk about Tyreek in a second. If you want to talk to me here on CBS Sports Radio, we got a phone number. It's 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. If you know how to use the internet, you can find me everywhere. I am at JR Sport Brief. Shep, how are you this evening? No, no complaints, JR. I'm doing, you know, it is, it is what it is, man. We got the longest day of the year tomorrow, so I'm in good spirits. How about you, my friend?

We've had a lot of news in our industry, let alone sports, by the way. You, you live in New York? Yes, yes I do. Okay. Thank you, Shep.

So we got a lot to do, a lot to discuss. We got this guy here. I just told you about him. His name is Tyreek Hill, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. Tyreek Hill, one of the most dynamic players in the entire league.

Today the world found out, unfortunately, and this is, it's not the worst thing that could happen, but it's just like, come on, man. This is, this is a reminder of his Hall of Fame talent, and I guess for what is a, I don't want to call him a two, two cent brain, but just, just take a listen to this news from down in Florida, WPLG Local 10. Tyreek Hill, I guess he was supposed to be celebrating Father's Day, and he, his goal's in a different direction. Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill is under investigation by Miami-Dade Police, and Local 10 News has learned the wide receiver allegedly hit a man working at Haulover Marina. Hill shared an Instagram story showing a Father's Day celebration on a boat Sunday morning, then later that day around 6 p.m., according to a tip received by Local 10, Hill got into some kind of disagreement with an employee of one of the charter companies based at Haulover Marina that apparently ended with Hill hitting the man.

It's unclear if that man was injured, but on Monday we did see Miami-Dade Police at the marina, and on Tuesday the department confirmed an investigation was underway involving Hill. Come on, on Father's Day, man, and sure we don't, we don't know if he did it, we don't know if he's guilty, we don't know what happened, but this is, this is what we're getting out of Tyreek Hill, and it always reminds me the reason why Tyreek Hill was drafted in the fifth round in the NFL draft in 2016 was because of a domestic assault issue, he got three years probation, it was only a few years ago in 2019, he was investigated for child abuse, nothing came out of that, he wasn't suspended by the NFL, his son had a broken arm, they said he broke it bracing his fall, but then he was recorded on audio, you know, telling his fiance that she should be afraid of him after she told him, our son is afraid of you. So this is just, like this is, this is what's going on with the Miami Dolphins, this is what's going on with Tyreek Hill, he just told everybody a few months ago, he's like, listen, I got my money with the Dolphins, four years, 120 million dollars, I'm 29 years old, when this deal is done, I'm finished, I ain't playing football, he wants to play video games, he wants to be one of these dudes who, you know, starts an esports team or e-league, whatever the hell they call these things, and he doesn't want to run around anymore, and he's always fun loving, right, he's making videos welcoming Messi to Miami, Tyreek Hill wears number 10, and Messi wears number 10, hey, welcome to Miami, Messi, he's racing, you know, racing horses, he's challenging people to races, in the off-season he's doing US track and field stuff, and then stories like this pop up and I'm reminded, I'm like, this dude, he got issues, and it's not a matter of whether or not he's guilty, I think there's something wrong, I think you need to get checked, if you have to tell your significant other, I don't care if you're Tyreek Hill or you're the neighbor down the street, you got to tell your partner that they should be afraid of you, I mean, you lost an entire opportunity at school, Oklahoma State said, we don't want you, you pled guilty to domestic assault, and then years later you said, oh, she lied and set you up, it's hard to root for dudes like this, it's so easy to turn on the game and appreciate the athleticism and appreciate the entertainment, but then these stories pop up and I'm just like, like damn, thanks, thanks for the reminder, I thought they would be bigger stories, and they still are with the Miami Dolphins, what happens with Tua Tongaveloa, is Tua Tongaveloa going to be able to last a season, what happens the first time Tua gets hit, is his head going to bounce off of the turf, I hope not, I hope Tua can stay healthy, how does Jalen Waddle continue to move forward here, how does the coach continue to grow, a little smart aleck coming out of San Francisco, I want to know what's going to happen with the Dolphins in the AFC East, can they legitimately compete with the Buffalo Bills, are they going to be right along there with the Patriots, I would take Aaron Rodgers over to a Tongaveloa, I would take him to the Dolphins over to a Tongaveloa, I mean how are the Dolphins going to be able to compete with the Jets, well the Dolphins underrated, well I mean for one day in the off-seasons, particularly down in Florida, Tyreek Hill shows up and just can't have a decent father's day, he got into a beef with somebody over a boat and you know he's being investigated for for putting his hands on him, happens right, it's like these are these are human beings, terrible things happen all the time, it's not just exclusive to football players, they're just they're just famous dudes, they make a lot of money and sometimes when things don't work out, bad things happen, you know I've lost track of how many people have accused Trevor Bauer of sexual assault and now he's playing on the other side of the planet, somebody please where's Antonio Brown, can somebody find him for me, like what is he doing now that the arena team just got booted out of the league because he didn't want to pay its bills, and we can go on and on and on, I hope this isn't a precursor of things to come for the rest of the off-season, I hope the Miami Dolphins can keep their noses clean, I hope Tyreek Hill can just, I don't know, go race a horse or Jaguar or Cheetah, his nickname, but today you know right before the show was just one of those reminders that these dudes are that they're human beings right, they're gonna get in trouble, they have more money, they got funds, they can get in trouble, like he was on a boat and maybe put his hands on somebody, maybe they were beefing about the bill, I have no idea, this is why as a sports fan, I like the sports, there aren't too many guys I have an attachment to or care about, because they're human beings, you probably won't ever catch me wearing somebody else's jersey with somebody else's name, with their own story on the back, no thank you, not interested, I'm gonna appreciate who they are as as entertainers, I'm going to appreciate who they are, some of them as as co-workers or buddies or friends or associates, I'm gonna look at them as subjects for content, I'm gonna look at them as human beings, but I'm not gonna put these dudes up as as supermen unless they're doing something super, I'm gonna look at them as human beings, these negative things that I'm always reminded of, they they stand out man, and I'm always reminded, please no more, 29 years old, like no more fights, no more beefs, you know it's been a while since there was a domestic incident, let's just let's just keep it that way, let's just focus in on Tua Tonga Valoa, hopefully this situation gets cleared up, hopefully there's no assault charge, and hopefully Tyriquil can just be on the receiving end of passes from Tua Tonga Valoa if he is found to have been in the clear, you can't beat up somebody on Father's Day, not that it matters, don't beat up anybody anytime, it's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio, 855-212-4CBS, that's 855-212-4CBS, I'm gonna take your calls here on Tyriquil, we're gonna talk about Victor Wenbanyama, I guess that's a nice story or maybe not, what happens when you put a seven foot five Frenchman on a subway, we found out what happens on an airport, we'll talk about James Harden and Philly or Houston, Zion is just getting beat up all over the internet for hanging out with a porn star allegedly, New England Patriots got their own headache and a guy named Jack Jones, Pat Riley can give you a headache if you work for him, in the NFL they decided to share some new rules or at least clarify some rules when it comes down to gambling, Damian Lillard is it time to go, we got a lot to do and we're just getting started, 855-212-4CBS, keep your nose clean between now and the break, it's the JR Sport Brief Show, CBS Sports Radio, you are listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. JR wants to hear from you, call him now at 855-212-4CBS, that's 855-212-4227. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here on CBS Sports Radio, we opened up the show letting you know that Tyriquil wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins is currently being investigated for an incident in Miami on Father's Day, he got off of a boat in a marina and allegedly hit a man working at the marina on Sunday, we don't know the full details, he's being investigated, maybe it's much to do about nothing, hmm, we'll see sooner than later, I think the Dolphins would have preferred to know whether or not Tua Tonkavelo was going to be throwing him passes but not the first time Tyriquil has been investigated for anything and I wish everybody involved nothing but the best. 855-212-4CBS, that's 855-212-4CBS, before we move on and I pick up the phone calls and then talk to you about Victor Wibanyama on a train, I need to congratulate the Cincinnati Reds who after another victory tonight, beating the Rockies the final score five to four, the Reds improved their record to 38 and 35, they have now won 10 games in a row and this win streak which is obviously now in double digits is the second double digit win streak in 2023 only to those Tampa Bay Rays who started the season undefeated, this is the first time that the Cincinnati Reds have won 10 straight games for the first time since 2012, this also moves those Cincinnati Reds, they're still in first place now in the National League Central above the Milwaukee Brewers, so things are pretty tight in the NL Central, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Chicago, Pittsburgh is below 500 but they're all pretty close there, all pretty close.

855-212-4CBS, David is calling from Buffalo, you're on the JR sport brief show, what's up David? Hey JR, thanks for having me on tonight man, you know the Tyree Kimmel thing, what's incredible about that is you look at the Miami Dolphins as a franchise, you know there's an extreme amount of pressure on Tua this year to prove that he is really the man there as the quarterback and you look at that owner too, looking at it more from a big picture view, I mean that owner is a really impulsive guy, I mean this is a guy who tampered for years to try to get Tom Brady to come down there and play for the Dolphins, so to me it's all set up right now for them to win and they've got a really young coach who has a good offensive mind but the reality is like you know to me if you don't have a guy like Tyree Hill and he's going to be suspended or there's going to be issues, to me this is just going to put a team like that, you know a team their opportunity to win, you know windows close quickly in the NFL and you know if a guy like this who's supposed to be a leader they pay them all this money comes in and does stuff like this, what does it say about the rest of that franchise and what really matters? You know what, I can't look at this as an exclusive to the Miami Dolphins, maybe it's me, maybe I'm too used to this, maybe I'm jaded but Tyree Hill being investigated for a potential assault out of Marina in Miami, for me feels like nothing. In like the NFL terms to me it feels like nothing, like I have no worries or concerns as of right now that Tyree Hill is going to miss time, he might be investigated and nothing comes of it, like it is it a ridiculous story to hear about?

Yes, but we have certainly heard worse and even past that it's like the NFL a lot of times it's like hey oh we're just you can come still play you know no big deal, so it's I'm not all that concerned. Everything that you just said for Miami from a football perspective is like true, they got a Mike McDaniel moving into his second year, you have an injury prone to a Tonga Veloa, you have a stacked you know AFC East, but Tyree Hill is not, what's he going to do? If anything bad happens here, well first of all how long is this investigation going to take? We don't know, training camp starts about a month from now, I'm not I'm not sweating that you know we got Alvin Kamara who we got on video beating the living hell with some friends out of a guy in Las Vegas and he ain't missed time yet you know with all the legal proceedings, so it's a it's a tough way to go man.

Yeah and I think the other thing too you know with the NFL I think you know their punishment over the years has just been you know so erratic and so up and down that you really don't know you know how they're going to punish certain guys especially because he does have somewhat of a history, but you know the other thing I'm interested to hear you take, I know you brought up Damian Lillard man, what I mean to me I think that's going to be the fascinating move of the offseason the NBA because I feel like either he's going to try to get guys to come to team up with him in Portland or I think Miami will be the perfect destination for him if he's going to get traded. Well we're going to talk about that later on the show David but I'll give you a little bit of a teaser, who's the last big dude that has just gone out to Portland? Exactly, exactly, we're going to talk about it stay tuned okay?

Alright man I sure will. Alright thank you David for calling from Buffalo, the answer is nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody. Damian Lillard if he wants help he may have to leave the state 855-212-4CBS, that's 855-212-4CBS, let's go to California and talk to Chris you're on the JR Sport Brief Show. Hey JR thanks so much for taking my call.

Sure what's on your mind? I want to first of all say thank you for keeping the Tyreek Hill thing in perspective, there's people already tripping out saying that he did this, we don't know anything like you said so thank you. Yeah no it's allegations but you know what it's for a lot of times for me and this is this is the way it should be, yeah we can go ahead and look at allegations but how many times does an individual have to go through allegations before you just go well what type of positions are you putting yourself in and who are you surrounding yourself with? Professional athletes we know they are targets but but sometimes when it's matters of of domestic issues or physical violence like there's there's a little bit of a trend and so yes they are allegations but at what point do you have a little bit more self-control as to your situations and who you're around what's your other point Chris? So true my brother Victor Webunyama okay I want to tell you this the first time I ever went to Sacramento was in November of 2019 and I had the good fortune to go to a Kings game I love De'Aaron Fox and I think they were playing the Dallas Mavericks with Porzingis and I happened to be sitting behind a basketball mind this guy's out he's a great attorney he's all over Twitter he's got me beat I think by about 10 years his name is Ray Labov and four years ago he told me that he saw Wilt Chamberlain on Christmas day dominate but we got a kid coming into the league in four or five years by the name of Victor Webunyama who is going to blow people away he said he's Chris Staps Porzingis times five and I just want to give a shout out to Ray he stuck stuck with me through thick and thin he's the most knowledgeable basketball person I've ever met in my life Ray Labov, Sacramento attorney.

Okay well thank you Chris for calling from California yeah we just gonna have to find out what what Victor Webunyama looks like nobody nobody knows we can all look at the skill hey I'll put it to you this way if I knew that Victor Webunyama was going to be healthy then I'd say yeah he has a great future but you have no idea how somebody with that body will hold up that's why it's it's potential and good on Victor Webunyama Victor Webunyama got on the Ford train today in New York City if you've never been to New York and you've never been on a Ford train good for you I've I've ridden this train my whole life from Manhattan to the Bronx New York it takes you through Yankee Stadium most people don't go past that and no reason for you to do it Victor Webunyama is on his welcome to New York City tour you know last night we told you about him at the airport oh my god seven foot five guy at the airport you know going through Newark oh my god amazing today Victor Webunyama threw out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium and it was a scene there were so many photos and videos that were disseminated Victor Webunyama photographed holding a baseball his hands engulf the ball the ball is the the ball disappears into the palm of his hand he can basically close his fist and have his fingers touch his wrist with the ball inside it it's like you holding a grape in the palm of your hand and so Victor Webunyama is standing up in the New York Yankees dugout outside he's in the dugout you know right in front of the overhang he he can see over the dugout by standing up I'm like damn it I've seen Aaron Judge walk through the dugout a million times he's six foot seven Aaron Judge don't have to duck through a damn thing but this guy is seven five he looks right into the stands from the dugout and then so of course he takes the four train he's signing autographs he's meeting with the Yankees he's looking over the dugout but Victor Webunyama he threw out the first pitch before the Yankees went out there and beat the Seattle Mariners tonight Victor Webunyama all seven foot five of them they called him seven four don't short them pretty soon I'm just gonna say he's eight feet tall Victor Webunyama threw out the first pitch and he he's like like Randy Johnson times eight when it comes to the length listen to this from the yes network promised you the Victor Webunyama first pitch he will be the first pick on Thursday night in the NBA draft all right guys here we go seven four oh boy let's see oh no oh no they're they're more often awful than good aren't they when other sports try and come to the mound if I had to break that down his whole body was going one way and his arm was going the other yeah Victor Webunyama threw the ball right-handed and it went it went left of the the batter's box or it went left of the the zone if you want to call it the strike zone he threw a little bit of a of a sweep a little bit of a sidearm delivery there and I would think so when you're Victor Webunyama and you are nothing but arms and legs and so let's see Monday at the airport Tuesday he gets on the subway and goes to the New York Yankees game and Thursday is the draft maybe they'll let Victor Webunyama just mind his business tomorrow and and have dinner I wonder where else they can kind of showcase him around in New York maybe they send Victor Webunyama to the Statue of Liberty maybe they send him up to the Empire State Building tomorrow let Victor Webunyama sit down and have a break but I actually believe he's going to be doing media all day tomorrow Victor Webunyama and true American coming over from Paris let's see if his body holds up eight five five two one two four CBS that's eight five five two one two four CBS Tyreek Hill investigated for potentially beating up a guy Victor Webunyama brand new in America learning about all the amazing things that we have here like the four train in New York City not so amazing I'm going to take your calls and then we're going to talk about someone who is very familiar with the finest things in America it's James Harden yes we know he has an affinity for strip clubs but it appears that James Harden might have to uh settle for staying in Philly and avoiding all of the strippers in Houston I will explain it's the JR Sport Brief Show here on CBS Sports Radio your call's on the other side as well you're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio you're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio they appreciate your show and the way you are and there's a reason you are where you are thank you call in now at eight five five two one two four CBS it's the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio when we get to the top of the hour we're going to talk about Zion Williamson man this dude went from a baby-faced gentle giant oh man I gotta I gotta watch my words here he's just being uh he's been accused of just all types of uh interesting uh activities when it comes to the uh the women with an s the women's yes yes bad English the women's we'll talk about Zion at the top of the hour and just what this might mean and what this means for him and in his career we'll talk about that at the top of the hour someone who's familiar with uh women in a different capacity he hasn't gotten in trouble god bless him it's uh it's it's James Harden and we have heard so much over the past few years about James Harden I remember James Harden dissed his entire team in Houston to get the hell out of there and he ends up in Brooklyn and then he's sick everything with Kyrie and Durant and he says I originally wanted to come to Philly and now he's in Philly and he's reunited reunited with Daryl Morey and there's just commentaries about him now wanting to return to Houston for what so he can be home what does this mean for the Houston Rockets what the hell are they gonna do with an old busted up can't win nothing yeah he can still go get your 20 and 10 and lead the league and assist but he ain't what he was and then you got a bunch of young dudes why does Houston want to bring him back well it's been reported they don't and so it appears that James Harden might have to stay in Philly and it's kind of crazy because his old coach in Philly Doc Rivers who uh you know Doc Rivers he got the boot Nick Nurse is now the new head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers Doc Rivers he killed me and with the laughter he killed me with laughter on Bill Simmons podcast because he went out there and he verbally assaulted James Harden as a basketball player listen to Doc Rivers I don't believe the whole thing that he said I don't believe the whole thing that he quits and all that stuff I just think teams make them struggle because they know where they're at and it's easier to find them did you like coaching them was it okay like how would you rate the experience it was challenging more because we were fighting two things and not like visually fighting is that James is so good at playing one thing and the way that I believe you have to play to win in some ways is different because it's a lot of giving up the ball moving the ball coming back to the ball I would have loved to have him younger when that was easier for him damn wow oh man what a way to say he's he's washed and to say he's washed which he didn't say but he still killed the guy he can't play a winning style let's remember this is still the same Doc Rivers that one was he was asked a couple of seasons ago hey do you think you can win with Ben Simmons Doc Rivers like man I don't know oh man Doc Rivers is great I could listen to Doc Rivers annihilate players all the time I love it why not entertaining to me and James Harden let's be real it doesn't matter where he goes yeah he's gonna have the occasional 30 35 point game he's also gonna have the occasional clunker where he only you know I don't know puts up 10 points on on one for eight shooting and has 15 assists his best days are behind him this man played all the time in Houston was the star of the show was the main attraction could never wear anything and now he's cooked and if he's back in Philadelphia well man poor Tyrese Maxey how the hell is he gonna grow poor Joel Embiid what is he gonna do well he has to lose weight he has to be available so I that doesn't have so much to do with James Harden but hey good luck to James Harden wherever he goes eight five five two one two four CBS that's eight five five two one two four CBS we got Gary from Vancouver hey Gary you're on CBS sports radio hey Gary you're live on the radio hello no no Gary oh you got me on speaker phone Gary uh yes no that's terrible man this is radio what are you doing what if I shouted at you from across the room Kevin is calling from Iowa you on CBS sports radio how you doing well thank you for being attentive I'm great Kevin what's up hey uh I'm late but I'm gonna refer to your knuckleballers from last week knuckle who talked about knuckleballers didn't you talk about knuckleballers last week no I talked about RA Dickey all right well anyway here's my story okay please uh I was born 1960 I'm 180 miles west of Chicago I'm a Cub fan but I have no problem with the Sox I thought you were talking about the knuckleballers last week like there should be more I I didn't I hear the train going by what's that train about okay anyway uh wait hold on a second hey Shep listening to him reminds me of like a Bugs Bunny cartoon I get a train going by I'm expecting Wile E. Coyote and uh and what's the other one what was there Elmore Elmore Fudd no Wile E. Coyote and uh oh oh the beep beep what was that uh uh Piggy uh no beep beep the roadrunner roadrunner yep well here's the thing you even gave him an out to answer the question he still wasn't vibing with that so no well hold on let's bring it back yeah hey Kevin you like you like uh you like Looney Tunes uh absolutely oh you like the roadrunner and the Wile E. Coyote why not okay cool well anyway forget the train in the back so you're not interested no last week we didn't talk about knuckleballers we were having a conversation about the top six most unlikely stars in sports and so R.A. Dickey made the list but we weren't talking about knuckleballers but since you like but I got a good story for you make it fast I will anyway we're talking late 60s early 70s Wilbur Wood knuckleballer for the White Sox he would make me laugh my you-know-what-off by screwing these guys into the ground almost an eight-fist pitch six seven feet in the air and it was just a fun thing to watch I just never forget it okay yeah that's that was my call well that's some very uh Bugs Bunny type stuff I've seen that in Looney Tunes Kevin all right thanks man oh thank you Kevin you have a good night you too man that was fun that was fun he doesn't sound like he likes Looney Tunes sounds like he hates cartoons it sounds like he hates the uh he hates the train that runs behind his house that's probably why I didn't want to say anything hey Gary's calling from Vancouver British Columbia hey Gary you're on CBS Sports Radio maybe he decided to actually pick the phone up I apologize for that I don't know I'm uh I listen to you all the time you actually have intelligent radio compared to some of our local guys here uh a way to kill the Canadians you're welcome uh what I was going to say is this I'm going to tell you what I'm going to say is this um these two guys uh Hill uh I liked him when he was in Kansas City uh Zion never watched him have never seen him on scene play but they're both young guys are reasonably young compared to myself I'm 55 uh I just don't understand why they would get themselves into a position where you know frankly they have lots of money too much and uh and I wanted to know what you thought regarding uh maybe they should have bodyguards for themselves because or somebody that they trust because uh this sounds like a uh a money grab on Zion with Zion and and Hill uh keep your keep your hands to yourself you know they should know better what do you think uh yes and I think there is some difference in their ages so Tariq Hill is 29 years old Zion Williamson will turn 23 years old in about two weeks from now and so I'm not gonna say either one of these guys is uh is is yeah yeah Zion is young Tariq Hill should definitely know better but when you have money and you have access there's two separate things here Zion is uh he's letting his you know what get him in trouble allegedly right and in the case of Tariq Hill over the past several years dating back to his time in college it's it's been more so about putting his hands whether it's on the mother of his kids or you know allegedly beating up a guy or putting his hands getting physical with a guy at a marina yeah but you know but these things unfortunately happen all the time you know the internet is such a cesspool you can open up the internet at any time of the day you can go on Twitter you can go on Instagram I saw a guy throwing rocks through somebody's house window and somebody came by and hit him with a golf cart to make him stop you know people are getting beat up in Walmart these just people people do dumb stuff and when you have money and access yeah man a lot of these folks have bodyguards they have protection but sometimes that they ain't always there you know I don't think Zion needed a body guard when he was trying to body up on that uh that uh that that female star you get what I'm saying Gary just yes yeah like I said I always listen to you you've always uh not I don't always agree with you but I uh and I also wanted to say something else your producer he is extremely good at what he does and I think thanks for listening to me appreciate him well thank you Gary for calling from Vancouver well that's why we have Shep here Shep wasn't awesome we wouldn't have Shep here right Shep I would agree with all that JR yeah agree exactly and thank you Gary for calling up from uh where you call from Vancouver you would be correct Vancouver Canada and and uh speaking of uh guys who are not calling from Canada there's a terrible transition uh if you want to hear Doc Rivers kill Simmons quickly yeah why not Doc you think Ben Simmons can still be a point guard for a championship team like the one you guys want to become yeah David I don't know that question or the answer to that right now um you know so I don't know the answer to that yeah now Ben Simmons cried he's Australian he's from Australia yes yeah just just uh just a miserable dude working out in the off season to sit on the bench uh come season time I wonder if he's gonna on the Brooklyn Nets roster in uh a couple of months maybe a couple of days who knows just a sad story with Ben Simmons it's the JR sport brief show here with you on CBS sports radio speaking of a sad story you know what our last caller he just mentioned Zion said Zion is being blackmailed I don't want to call this a fall from grace but Zion has his reputation has hit the skids man should the pelicans boot him from the booth he's gonna talk about a CBS sports right now so what are you thinking for
