For home loan solutions that fit your life, it is oh so simple, Rocket Can. Happy Wednesday to you. Happy Wednesday night to you. I'm going to be hanging out here with you for the next four hours. And why am I here?

I don't know. They said this guy is good talking about sports, so that's what the hell I'm going to do. And then also, I'm going to help you get over the hump. And so that's what we'll do over the next four hours.

I love humps and I love getting over them. So, shout outs to super producer and host Dave Shepherd and thank you to you. Whether you're tuning in and listening on the free Odyssey app, whether you're locked in on your local CBS Sports Radio affiliate, all my friends listening on Sirius XM Channel 158, and everybody tuned in and locked in on a smart speaker.

You're all so smart. And oh yeah, by the way, I am oh so happy to be broadcasting to you live from New Orleans, Louisiana. I love it here. I love it.

I absolutely love it. Shout outs to my main man, Kendrick, hooking me up to get inside. Shout outs to my main man, Ernie, hooking it up. Shout outs to my main man, Danny. It's my guy. I love Danny.

I love Danny. Shout outs to everybody here in the Big Easy. We're going to have an easy time here over the next four hours before I do anything. Hey, Shep, how you doing? You good?

I'm doing good. How do you remember that many people so many fast, by the way? These are people that I know and I like them.

Oh, I didn't know that. You have a prior relationship? Yeah, I know my man. I just saw my man, Danny.

That's my guy. That's awesome. And J.R., a quick question. I'm doing good. Thank you for asking. Good.

Is what is the feeling about Jamis Winston right now in the Big Easy? I haven't asked anybody today. Got it. I didn't ask. People are running around. Of course, people are running around in their saints gear.

I'm not too far away from the dome. And while the madness, et cetera, happens, I haven't asked anybody. What's there to ask?

They suck right now. Sorry. I'm just I'm just saying, you know, certain situations you don't want to bring things up unless someone, you know, asked you about it.

What's there to ask me? This guy's not Drew Brees. We know that already, right?

Got to the heart. You know, he got off to the hot start early last season. There was a lot of hype coming this year. You know, Dennis Allen was the new guy in town.

And, you know, so I'm just saying there was a lot of optimism surrounding your Saints. Yeah. Until until he found all the pain in his body. And where was it? Everywhere.

Yes. Pain was everywhere. Where was the pain, James?

Where was the pain? Everywhere. We got it. We got to get that and save that. So we just where was the pain, Jamis?

Everywhere. We got to get that. We got to get a hold of Mike Tomlin. We do not care. But yeah, the pain is everywhere.

So, you know, between Jamison, his body and Zion and his body, there's a lot of a lot of concerns here. But I digress. It's good to be here. If you want to talk to me, by the way, folks, you know how to do it. We got a phone number in New York. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. If you want to get at me the digital way, you can contact me. I am at JR Sport Brief. That is on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Obviously, every single Wednesday night, it's a Thursday morning. I bring you a new top six list. Tonight, it ain't gonna be any different. Baseball's going on right now. We got the Braves. They're trying to tie up this series against the Phillies. They currently lead them three nothing in the bottom of the eighth. Meanwhile, you got the Dodgers and the Padres. They're in the bottom of the fourth right now. They are tied three all.

And so we're going to have a little bit of a baseball tent on tonight's top six list. We're going to take a look at the players who are in the playoffs right now. Who have the most to prove? Is it a justification of their paycheck?

Is it because they are a bunch of cheaters? Or who has the most to prove right now in the Major League Baseball playoffs? A new top six list. We will get there in two hours from now. Trust me, Tom flies when you're having fun.

And that's exactly what I plan on doing. Outside of the top six, we're going to talk about Tua Tonga Veloa. The Miami Dolphins are being ridiculously careful with this man. Dak Prescott. What's Dak Prescott's status? Is he going to come back? Is he going to supplant Cooper Rush?

Is Cooper Rush going to have to sit back down on the bench? We'll get into it. Bill Belichick. We know that he selected Mac Jones in the draft last year, but is Bill Belichick souring on Mac Jones? We'll talk about it.

Odell Beckham Jr. He said that the Rams basically offered him a whole lot of nothing. Hmm, okay. The Rams are like, man, we still want you back. They're going to have to ante up some cash. And speaking of anteing up some cash, this is something that we discussed last night at the end of the show as Steve Kerr decided to break a little bit of news. It's that Draymond Green will only be hit in his wallet. And speaking of hits, it's because he hit Jordan Poole. He is not going to face an actual suspension on the basketball court. Draymond Green is actually going to return to practice and basketball tomorrow. And then, of course, there's an additional piece of news with Devante Adams.

He shoved the photographer and he's been charged with assault for that shove. We'll talk about that. And for the life of me, and I, hey, Shep, I know we talked about this on air and I'm not going to beat a dead horse. No, you only had one or two calls about it. Oh, well, yeah, sure.

One or two. No, there were people online talking about how the photographer, it was his fault. There was an entire, I'm talking thousands of people.

I'm like, okay, I get it. We got, I don't know, 300, 350 million people in the country. I don't know how many care about football, a whole lot. And then we got, we got millions of jackasses online. I could not believe that there were people just saying nonsense of, well, he didn't, he got, photographer got in his way and, and, oh, he shouldn't have been there. And I'm like, is this how many people?

Well, I know we got a lot of jackasses out here, so I'm answering my own question, but we'll get into that as well. Let's back up and start off with Draymond Green. That was the assault that took place before Monday night football. That was the one that we learned about right here on air where the news started to trickle in that Draymond Green got into an altercation with pool.

And then it was only a couple of days later that we actually get video of it. This isn't a scuffle. This isn't a back and forth.

This is a back and forth. And then Draymond approaches pool into his space, basically punking the guy. He shoves him out of his space and Draymond Green responds with a haymaker.

Well, the Golden State Warriors have had time to think about that haymaker Draymond Green over the weekend. He apologized. He said he was wrong. He said that he shouldn't have did it, but this had implications, not just on Jordan pool, but his family.

It was embarrassing and on and on Draymond said, I am taking a few days to step away from the team. Well, this is what he said about being wrong. I was wrong for my actions that took place on Wednesday. And for that, um, you know, I have apologized to my team. Um, I have apologized to Jordan and, you know, um, I wanted to take that a step further, uh, you know, with, with the event yesterday, uh, with the video leaking. Yeah.

That was over the weekend. It took the Golden State Warriors the entire weekend into this week to try to figure out, well, what do we do with him? Obviously we're going to find him. We got to punish him somehow.

You just can't sock your teammate in the face. And then there was also the possibility of, Oh man, we, we need to come through and we need to figure out if we're going to sit them down for a game or two. There were all these rumors about, you know, maybe Jordan pool deserved it. Maybe he was mouthing off. Maybe he, he was feeling a little too big for his britches. Maybe, maybe he was talking smack about his impending contract. Steph Curry was like, man, Andre Iguodala told y'all online, but that was a bunch of, you know what, this is what Steph Curry had to say after the fact. There's a specific tweet that was put out yesterday about insinuating that JP's attitude or something has changed since he's been in this training camp or even, you know, whatever whatever time window they're talking about, it's absolute BS. Andre addressed it yesterday with his tweet. You kind of leave it at that.

JP's been great. There's nothing that warranted the situation yesterday. Make that clear. But it's also something that we feel like we'll not derail our, our season and what we're trying to do.

And that's with Dre Monning, you know, as a part of that. So the rest of it, hard with speculation becomes opinion turns into borderline fact of like what actually happened. So I hate that that became kind of part of the narrative, which it's not fair to JP.

Yeah. We don't, we don't know what happened. We saw what took place. We saw what happened, but we don't, we don't know for sure. And I believe if Jordan Poole said something so outrageous and so egregious, he would also face a punishment. And that's not the case. I believe that if he said something about Dre Mon's mama, then, and nobody would take issue with him throwing a haymaker at his head.

Just seemed like normal barking and let's be real. Who has the track record of being a track record of being a trash talker? Who has the record of being an agitator? Who has the record of actually having a media career on television via TNT?

And then also outside of that, who has the podcast? Who the hell have you ever seen doing a podcast during the NBA Finals? It's Draymond Green, him. He's the one who punched the guy in the face. He's the one who decided to take it a step too far. He's the one who assaulted a teammate. He's the one who could have knocked him the hell out. Maybe he did. He's the one with that punch.

He could have done some major, absolutely major damage. Draymond Green is the one who ultimately deserved a suspension. But having said that, I can understand. It's not an excuse, but I can understand the Warriors position and not suspending him. After the game last night, preseason game, Steve Kerr spoke to the media and he decided to give that update on Draymond Green.

And he basically said, well, don't take my words. Just listen to Steve Kerr. We would hope that we've developed enough equity with the experience we have with our fan base, with the people watching over the last decade that people can trust us that we've really put really put a lot of thought into this decision. And as I said, we feel like this is the best way for us to move forward. Boom. This is the best way for us to move forward.

That's it. This isn't what Draymond Green deserves, which is a suspension. This is the best way for us to move forward. No distractions, no suspensions, no drawing this out, no making this more complicated than it already is. Should Draymond be suspended?

The answer is yes. It was only a few seasons ago that Draymond Green was suspended for talking crap to Kevin Durant. He didn't punch Kevin Durant in the head. He didn't assault the man. He didn't try to knock him out.

He basically was a complete pain in the ass. They're trying to go on a stretch run here to the NBA championship and Draymond Green is being an agitator. Well, we didn't need you to win a title and your ass gonna leave anyway. Oh, can't say that to Kevin Durant. We're trying to win a ring.

Sit down for a game or two. Atlanta Braves just beat Philadelphia three to nothing in Atlanta. Atlanta has now tied this divisional series one-all. Draymond got suspended for that. He can't get suspended for this. If it took place in the course of the season, I believe they would have suspended him. It was a preseason.

It was practice. They're coming off of a championship. They don't want to start the season off with a darker cloud lingering over them. And so they put the kibosh on this right now. They're trying to hush it down. I'll talk about it. You'll talk about it. Other radio and television hosts nationally, locally will talk about it.

And then it'll go away. The Warriors might go on a winning streak. Draymond Green won't be asked about it after a while.

Jordan Poole won't be asked about it. Kyrie Irving might say something ridiculous. Ben Simmons might airball a game-winning three.

Well, unlikely he won't take it. James Harden will find a Twinkie in the strip club. An NBA owner will say something ridiculous. Giannis Etedekumpa will dunk from the free throw line. Patrick Beverley will punch Russell Westbrook. And an NBA coach will be fired. And Jordan Poole getting punched in the face.

It'll be forgotten. For the time being, at least. And so the Golden State Warriors, they're thinking about what is going to be less distracting. And that's moving on with this Draymond scenario and getting ready to play basketball next week. Draymond should have been suspended. The Warriors are not suspending him because they are trying to quiet down the drama. Whether it's one day, two days, ring ceremony, they want to get it over with.

Swallow their medicine and get better. But there's no justifiable reason after you try to knock the hell out of somebody else that you shouldn't be suspended. Draymond Green, his tenure with Golden State, it was already a high possibility that he was going to be gone, wanting a new contract. He, yes Draymond, has the chance to opt into his deal next year or he can opt out and get more money. Are the Warriors going to want to pay this guy? It's a conversation for another day. I'll tell you this much, in the big grand scheme of things, even after this punch, this non-suspension, unless Draymond Green makes things worse on his podcast, on the court, on the floor, I'm not concerned with what the Warriors do when it comes down to basketball.

But this man should have been suspended. And the Warriors, they took the easy route. They took the team building route. They're trying to quiet the noise, for now. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. The phone lines are open. That's 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. Draymond Green, he returns on Thursday. He will not be suspended. He will not miss a basketball game. He will just be tapped in his wallet and life will go on. Ask Jordan Poole's face if life is going on. What do you think about Draymond? What are your thoughts on the lack of a suspension?

The phone lines are open to you. And then I'll give you an update on Devante Adams. It's the JR Sport Brief Show right here with you on CBS Sports Radio. Where was the pain, Jamis? Yeah, just pain.

It was pain everywhere. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. JR wants to hear from you. Call him now at 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4227. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. Last night, while I was here with you on air, we learned that Draymond Green, well, he's not going to be suspended for punching his teammate, Jordan Poole.

And you know what? Saying that he punched him is a little too light. Assaulted, Jordan Poole is also appropriate.

Even though Draymond Green, a few years ago, he was talking crap to Kevin Durant. He got suspended for that. Not for this punch, though.

He should be suspended. But the Warriors, they took the easy route and they want to make this go away. It's not going to go away over the next week and maybe two weeks, but it'll go away. And by suspending him, especially for the start of the season and going through ring night, the fact of him collecting a ring and potentially being booed by the home fans is, man, trust me, it's probably a smaller story, or maybe it's not, than him not being there at all and then having to just reintegrate him into the team. It's like swallowing your medicine now and knowing eventually you got to take it.

Just get it over with. What do you think about this lack of a suspension and did the Warriors screw this up? I don't think they did.

I think they went to do what they feel is best for the squad. I think this will blow over. 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. Manny is calling from Flushing. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, Manny? What's up, JR? How you doing?

I'm very well. What do you think about this Draymond situation with the Warriors? He might be the luckiest man right now today. Man, he could call someone a B word and get suspended. If he groups his teammates' ass, he's going to advocate. That's all I see. How long do you think he should have been suspended?

At least two games, in my opinion. I'm not saying, thank God, it wasn't as worse, worse, worse. But come on, you just don't hit your teammates regardless of what y'all said.

He or he joined Putin, like you said. You can't just put your hands on your teammate. I'm sorry. You just broke a code. I would not be blamed if it's going to cause tension within the locker room.

Not just the veterans, but some young players. If Jordan Putin gets hit, I probably would get hit too. Okay. All right. Well, Manny, thank you for calling from Flushing.

I hear you. I feel like I heard myself in the back too. I don't know what was going on there. 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. Let's go to Buffalo, New York. We went from Flushing, Queens. Let's go up to Buffalo and let's talk to Mack. You're on the JR Sport Reshow. What's up, Mack? Hey, Mack. Well, this is Mack, but I really don't understand the situation. What is Grandma Green some kind of king of basketball or something?

And the young man that he hit, I was charged with assault for hitting him. They're not even going to give him any suspension time. It just doesn't make any sense to me. And I will admit that I haven't followed Draymond Green for any length of time. He's not someone that I follow in basketball. But maybe you can, and you've talked about it and other people have called in, that I would think that he would at least get some suspension time or something so that he can't just go around macking his fellow players in the face.

Well, here's the thing. In a dog-eat-dog world, Jordan Poole, he would have a job. No one, no one would take him serious if he decided to just file assault charges on his own teammate. Well, let's start off with the players. Players, his teammates would look at him and go, what are you doing this for? Like you're becoming a distraction here. Do you want to go in the room? Y'all two hash it out, punch each other in the face.

Why we got to make this a legal situation? That would be the first thing. Guys across the league would look at him and say, what are you doing? As much as their teammates, the guys on the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole, like the NBA is a, it's, it's a fraternity. It's a small club. Like guys move around, they change teams. They, they fraternize. They, they, they're familiar with each other.

No, not everybody's a best friend, but it's, it's a small group. The NBA, the players collective across the league would look at Jordan Poole and say, he punched you. You're just going to sue him.

Why didn't you just punch him back? Jordan Poole would be basically, he'd be out of a job. Nobody would want to deal with this guy unless he was automatically just going to drop 35 points with his eyes closed. And who's Draymond Green? He's an agitator. He's a former, he's a former defensive player of the year. He's a forward who can bring the ball up court. He can defend and he's getting older. He's 32.

I don't think he's going to age all that gracefully. Smart basketball player. He's not the most gifted, gifted athletically and people want to look at the stats and look at the numbers as much of a pain in the ass that he is for the Golden State Warriors, for their team, for how they are constructed. He's an asset. If he were to end up on the Orlando Magic and probably be a little less useful. He's not a scrub. He's not a bum. For what he's been able to do on a team and for a team construct, he's a future Hall of Famer. He also needs to get things together.

Punching his damn teammates in the face. Reggie's here from Tennessee. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hey, what's up, man? I love the show, brother. I love to see y'all's time.

Thank you. Hey, I'm gonna tell you right now. Games have been suspended three games. We find at least $50,000 because number one, he can't be teammates in the face. There's going to always be something there between those two going in the future. I already see that. And number two, what is he telling these young basketball players that's coming up through high school and college into the NBA? What is it? What's the message he's giving them?

Nothing. I just wanted to comment that, man, but I appreciate your show, man. Thank you, Reggie. He's not, he's not sending a message of anything. He's not. Draymond Green can run around and quote unquote be a leader and Draymond Green can run around and, and, and, and give guidance. Well, Draymond Green is going to have to shut up and be on his best behavior. He's already trying to play for a contract.

He, let me repeat this. Draymond Green has the option to opt into his contract for next season. I believe in the amount of approximately $30 million. He has that option.

If he decides to opt out, let's think about this. Who's paying him $30 million a year. Who's doing that. Who's paying Draymond Green $30 million a year.

Nobody. It's probably in his best interest to opt into his contract next season, but that's not to say that the warriors don't find some team or sucker and move them. Draymond Green is there to be paid. Andrew Wiggins is to be paid. Jordan Poole is to be paid.

Pardon the English or the terrible English, but the math is not mathing. One of these guys has to go. And that's just the natural progression of the golden state warriors.

Somebody has to go. You have Wiseman. When's the last time anybody talked about James Wiseman?

Seven foot freak. When's the last time you really heard the name Ku-Manga? You haven't. We know about Curry. We know about Klay Thompson. We know about Draymond Green. They've been there. They got young guys who are on the up and up. Draymond Green very well might be expendable sooner than later.

It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. I'm not expendable. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. Not trading me.

If they tried, I wouldn't leave. Good luck. When we come back, the phone lines are still open. I want to update you on Davante Adams. Oh, you want to talk about someone who got something coming his way.

Yeah, Draymond Green got off easy. Not Davante Adams. I'll explain. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. Thank you, man. We love you down here in Texas.

Okay, JR. Hey, how you doing, man? I love your show. Love the topic. Thank you. I'll be listening again in the future. This is a great show.

Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. We've been talking about Draymond Green. This is also an excellent opportunity to remind you or at least update you on what's been going on with Davante Adams. Today is Wednesday. It was only Monday night after another brutal loss at the hand of the Chiefs that we saw what happened.

Davante Adams decided to shove a photographer who was in front of him. Completely unnecessary. Is it?

No ands, ifs, buts, anything around it. Okay, fine. The man should be punished. Whether you think he should get a slap on the wrist or whether you think he should be suspended. He was in the wrong.

He should be punished. Now, what took place yesterday? The man who was shoved to the floor. He found out who he is. He has a name. Ryan Zebley.

He's a freelance photographer for ESPN. This man, he filed the police report yesterday and we now understand and know that Davante Adams, he's been charged with misdemeanor assault for shoving this man. He was cited for an intentional overt act that inflicted bodily injury.

Ryan Zebley says he suffered whiplash, a headache, and a possible minor concussion. Davante Adams, he's due in court November 10th out in Kansas City and he could go to jail for six months or he could be fined $1,000. I don't think he's going to jail. He'll probably pay a $1,000 fine. If that, maybe he shakes the guy's hand and all is well.

Everything is good. We don't know how the guy is feeling. We don't know if he's out here for a cash grab. And these unfortunately, the type of things that happen if you don't know how to control yourself. And in that moment, in that moment, I should say, Davante Adams did not. And now unfortunately he has to pay for the drama of it all.

He might say, Hey man, I'll give you more than a thousand dollars. Just go away. Sorry.

My bad. Let's sit down for a meal. Here's some money. Bye. Things like this happen all the time. And when I say things like this, the media mingling amongst athletes, it happens. Don't be fooled. Well, he crossed the line or he should not have crossed in front of Davante. Stop making excuses.

Cut out the trash. Davante Adams had no business shoving him to the ground like that. Trust me. 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. That's 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. Brian is calling from Texas. You're on CBS sports radio. I hope you can hear me.

I'm in the road. There's no excuses. You should never put your hands on anybody. I'll agree with all that.

But I also love both of the groups. I don't favor TMC on the photographers like me. Brian, Brian, you sound like, no, I can't hold down. What are you? Hey, shut up.

What is this? Did you just hear him? Tell me, hold on.

I did. Brian did not sound like that 10 minutes ago. He did not sound like that 2 minutes ago. So yeah, Brian, it sounded like he was calling from a spaceship. The first thing Brian says was, Hey, Jr, I hope that you can hear me. And then he continues to talk. And I'm trying to tell the man you sound like you you're hanging out with SpongeBob Square Pants. And he's telling me, Hey, Jr, hold on. We can't we don't know what you're saying. Sheesh.

Now, if I call that guy stupid, people want to go, Oh, Jr, you can't do that. You're so rude. Good. Kyle is calling from New York. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Maybe we can hear Kyle.

What's up, Kyle? Hey, Jr. Can you guys hear me? Okay.

Yeah, you don't sound like SpongeBob. You sound okay. Go ahead.

Okay, I'm on land right now. So I hope that's the case. Okay. But no, I just I think the one point I want to make is, is, you know, with the Draymond Green and the Devante Adams thing, you know, if, if we're normal people out on the street, and you see something like that, it's a crime, right? Whether it's a shove to the ground or a punch to the face. And I think both of them should be suspended for a little bit, or, you know, get a fine and you know, criminal charges are being pressed against Devante. And I mean, obviously, it's a little bit of a different situation since Draymond Green hit his own teammate, and I'm sure his own teammates not going to start that whole process. But it really boils down to the fact that yes, both of these incidents are assault.

And if, if any of us normal people out here on the street were to do the same thing, we'd get in trouble for it. And they should too. Okay, I mean, that's that that's reasonable. But we know in reality, that's that's not the case.

It depends on, on the environment and the environment of professional sports. We know that things these things are treated differently. You have a you have a point. I don't think you said anything that's incorrect. But we know the environment and the situation.

It changes a whole lot. Thank you, Kyle, for calling from New York. Appreciate you, man. Let's keep on. What do we have here? Let's go to Boise, Idaho. Let's talk to Cam. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, Cam? Good day, JR. And I appreciate you taking my call.

I won't take a lot of time. But this whole thing with green and, you know, the punching and that I'm sorry. But, you know, sometimes you got to put on your big boy pants and punch back. Yeah, that's all I'm saying.

It's like everybody's putting a lot of a lot of emphasis on the legal side of this. I come from the school, you shove me, I'm going to punch you out. Well, that's that's kind of what what's kind of what happened. He approached Jordan Poole.

I don't believe because it is so uncommon in that regard. I don't believe Jordan Poole expected to shove him and then to be socked in the face. No, I I agree with that. But again, if you're going to punch me in the face, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to kick your ass.

Oh, I like that. You're a violent guy, man. OK. How old are you, Cam? I'm not a violent guy, but I grew up in that. You know, I I just grew up in my neighborhood.

OK, you throw a punch, you give a punch. OK, so I that that's all I wanted to say. OK, I appreciate you taking my call. Oh, certainly, Cam. Thank you for calling from Boise. I'm glad that Cam is no longer out here whooping ass.

He sounds like he has handed out many of those weapons over the course of his lifetime. It's difficult for Jordan Poole to, you know, throw a punch. And he was on the ground.

I'm going to have to tell you, he was on the ground. I must say. Bill is calling from Texas, what's up, Bill?

Hey, how's it going? Good. No, I mean, Devonta Adams, OK, whatever. I mean, he did wrong.

I agree with that. My issue, what I was calling about was the roughing the pastor call on Chris Jones before half. That was within two minutes. Why wasn't a automatic review of the play called? Because it was a turnover.

Well, it wasn't it. Well, it wasn't so much the turnover. It was the action that took place before that. And that was their point that he roughed him up. And that particular call is not reviewable.

Chris Jones, Jones, the turnover happened before before he roughed him. I mean, I'll be honest, I can't hold the ball in one hand and not land on top of somebody with the other. I mean, I would be actually would actually take my other hand and and hold the ball. And I would fully land on the guy. So that should have been a review from the booth because that was their job to do.

It's a it's a chicken or an egg scenario. And having that discussion with me is not going to provide clarity, especially when the whole world pretty much looks at the entire play or the call is bogus. The justification was, hey, this was a penalty. The act was a penalty. You hitting him was a penalty. Who cares that you snatched the ball from him? You fell on him when you should not have. It's a penalty.

Roughing. It's not. But it's not on him. Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill has the bill. Listen. It doesn't matter, Bill, me and you could go back and forth about this until both of us are dust into the ground. I understand what you're saying. The NFL owners are meeting about this next week.

If you want to go to Park Avenue, I can give you the address. You can sit downstairs and you can be an advocate that they should have reviewed the call. Chris Jones after the game said as much. This needs to be a reviewable call.

I understand your point completely. He took the ball. Turnover should have been reviewed. They threw a flag that basically nullifies the whole situation.

The flag shouldn't have been thrown in the first place. Hey, Shep, what came first, the chicken or the egg? The egg.

I say chicken. Well, let's go back and forth about it for the next. How many years you want to argue it? I don't want to argue with you, JR. Oh, well, we can go chicken and egg forever until we're not here.

Enough college for that. Well, we'll hear Chris Jones on the other side. You can hear his explanation. It didn't involve. Oh, I took the ball. Come on. What are you arguing over? The play is stupid. It's the JR sport re-show on CBS Sports Radio. I'm stupid too.
