His brother, Jason Kelsey, has talked about some of the issues that he might have had now that he has quit. Speaking of quitting, couple of athletes who need to quit a particular thing and that's that speeding, Slow down. Last night I told you about Shador Sanders. Last night I told you about Zach Eady. They goin' too fast.

one hundred miles per hour. In a fifty-five, a sixty. is way too fast And then we even had uh Henry Ruggs. kinda put in his two cents about His own issues out in Las Vegas and what He needs to do.

Shohayo Tani, we have some information as to the next time that he will be on the mound out there pitching. I want to talk about the Los Angeles Lakers. The fact that they have a new ownership group, What does this mean for the Lakers?

What does this mean for the rest of the NBA? We're going to get into it. How about this? Speaking of championships? The FIFA Club World Cup is goin' on here in the United States of America.

I'm going to have a chat with one team from South Africa. The Mama Lodi Sundowns are going to join us. They're here, they were in Florida, they're going to Ohio. What the heck does South Africa have to do with Ohio? We're going to get into it.

We'll have that chat in a couple of hours from now. Josh Allen has some thoughts on the Tush push. Adrian Peterson gets into another kerfuffle. He's punching people in the face. I don't know if that's, I guess that's better than the time that he allegedly punched his kids or whooped his kids.

But anyway, Adrian Peterson cannot stay out of the news. And at the end of the show, we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. If you want to be a part of the show, of course you can. The number here. Is 888-710-4ISN.

That's 888-710-4ISN. You can find me online. I exist everywhere at JR Sport Brief. That is at JR Sport Brief, everyplace on social media. Ryan Bacha, how are you on this day that the Pacers might be eliminated from the NBA Finals because Tyrese Halliburton is busted?

Terrible. I'm feeling great right now. I kind of dodged a torrential downpour coming in here.

So um I'm Thankful for that. You're happy because you are dry. I'm extremely dry, to say the least.

Okay. Because it was a it was a pretty bad thunderstorm. I came in literally like five minutes after I got in there. All right, well Mother Nature does those things. What in New York I assume New York has been muggy and hot recently.

You anticipated a thunderstorm?

Well these were like pop-up. I don't even think they were on the uh the radar and they just kind of came out of nowhere.

Well, as long as you are dry, As long as you are here. As long as you're good. That's all that matters, Boncher. Good deal? Good deal.

I brought an umbrella anyway, so just in case. The j umbrellas. Just in case. You you ready for this transition, Botch? Are you ready?

I'm excited. Here we go. Speaking of umbrellas. Tonight the Oklahoma City Thunder have an opportunity to storm on the Indiana Pacers. and end their season.

Does that work, Bach, or does that work for you? It works, it works. It's a seven out of ten.

Well, that's better than some of the jokes you be telling over here sometimes. That's true, that's true. Touche, touche. Listen Tonight. It could be curtains, for the Indiana Pacers.

This is a team. That just lost its last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 120. The Thunder now lead. This series Three games to two. The big story?

It's not about Jalen Williams and his 40 points. It's not about Shake Gilgis Alexander and the fact that he's likely to win finals MVP in addition to his NBA regular season MVP. The big story. is about Cyrus Halliburton. This is a man who has knocked down shot After shot, after shot here.

In the postseason. Big shots. Go ask the Bucks who got eliminated by Tyrese Halliburton. Go ask the Knicks who in Game One were basically eliminated by Tyrese Halliburton. You can go down the list here.

Halliburton has been the key for the Indiana Pacers.

Well, now, Halliburton is running around with a bummed leg. After game two, he was holding his calf. He was limping.

Now, after the last game, game four, he's running around and he's holding his calf. Or game five. Halliburton has a calf strain, a calf injury, whatever it is, He could only muster four points. in the last game. That's not going to get the job done.

for the Indiana Pacers. At all. If Halliburton is not Fulgo, The paces Are cooked Good done. Tonight's game is in Indianapolis, Indiana.

So the Pacers have home court advantage. And if they can't do the job, if they can't pick up a vi a victory, the Oklahoma City Thunder, they're your champs. The Pacers want to push it to a seventh game. They want to go down to Oklahoma City and they want to shock the world. But unfortunately, with a one-legged man, I don't expect it.

As of last night? We heard that's Hyrie's Halliburton. He is He's a game time decision. I thought that that was crap. I'm like, man, even if that guy has to go out there, and be a decoy.

He is gonna go out there play ball. He's gonna try. He's gonna try to be a distraction. He's gonna throw a smoke bomb and say, Hey, everybody, look at me. I'd find it real crazy to see Tyrese Halliburton on the sidelines not giving it the old college try.

This is the NBA Finals. ain't nothin' after this. you might as well go out there and give it the best thing that you got, and if you got nothing, then that's just what it is. This ain't a regular season game. This ain't one eighty two.

When this finals is done it's done. You look at the parody in the NBA. There's no guarantee that Tyrese Halliburton or the Pacers will make it back. It's been about twenty five years. They may have to wait another twenty five years.

Damn it, that would be two appearances, let me do some math, in fifty years. You got to take advantage of what's in front of you. And so Sham Sarania, He was actually on Pat McAfee on ESPN earlier today, and I guess well, let's find out he gave an update as to whether or not Tyrese Halliburton will play tonight. Listen to what Shams had to say. Tyrese Halliburton, from my understanding, he has every intention of playing tonight.

And unless the medical team sees him, so the paces have a walkthrough this afternoon, so approximately around 5 p.m. Eastern Time, they're hopeful to know definitively whether Tyrese Halliburton should be able to play or not, unless there's some kind of a setback there. If he shows some signs where the medical team has to come in and step in and say, listen, we can't throw you out there, but he's fully intending to be out there tonight. He's going to gut it out. I would expect him to have some padding on that calf.

But listen, it's a calf strain. UD knows a lot about calf strains, and so he's definitely got to be careful. But as long as he can get out there, I would expect Tyrese Halliburton to try to play tonight. Listen. That man is going to be out there.

There's nobody that wants to go down as, I don't want to say a quitter. But someone who won't even give it a try You're the star Blair. People expect you to give it give it a go. Even if you gotta go out there, nobody's asking you to just rip your calf off of the bone. But you have to give it a try.

even if it's to inspire your team. I mean, we can go back to the New York Knicks and in the seventies and Willis Reed walking out of the tunnel in seventy and pretty much inspiring the New York Knicks. And Willis Reed ain't do nothing. He was busted up. His thigh was hurting.

It was Walt Clyde Fraser. who dropped thirty plus points. It was Walclode Frazier who had double digit assists. It was Walclote Frazier who took the Knicks to the promised land. All Willis Reed had to do.

Will show them that I'm the captain, And I'm a bust my ass trying.

So when? Tyrese Halliburne is not a stupid man. He don't want no smoke for the rest of the off season. Oh, he didn't even give it a try. Oh, he could have did this, he could have did that.

The the best thing he can do is at least suit up and go out there. If I were a betting man A REAL BETTING MAN I would bet That Tyrese Halliburton was out there. And even if they weren't gonna use him to the fullest extent, maybe he's feeling great tonight. You never know. They want to push it.

to a game seven. That's it. I don't know. Maybe TJ McConnell comes off the bench and decides to light it up. They're gonna try.

Their head coach Rick Carlyle, This is what he had to say about trying. His best, their best To get to seven games. We've been in this position before. We were in this position last year in the New York Series. We were down 3-2.

And we were coming back home. What we need to do is Buckle down. stand strong. Where we should and I anticipate one of the best crowds in the history of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. And we got to find a way.

Oh, yeah, they goin' be loud. I mean, what are the fans gonna do besides throw crap? On to the court. Like, they can't do nothing but scream real loud. They can't do anything but go out there and have a fit.

They can't do anything. Pacer fans are pretty much uh Well They're an afterthought. Because you can have great fans, you can have loud fans. None of it matters if you don't got no star player out there. None of it matters if Tyrese Halliburn is running around on one leg.

None of it matters if TJ McConnell can't come off the bench like he did last game. It spots you 18 points. None of it. Matters What matters to the Oklahoma City Thunder? They have to prepare for this man, whether he's there or not.

The head coach Mark Dayno. He talked about getting things together. with or without Halliburton to try to win this championship. Halliburton's a great player. One thing we know is you don't underestimate great players.

So, in the case that he plays, we're expecting his best punch. Indiana is a great team. Um We don't underestimate great teams.

So in. Either case, whether he plays or not, we're expecting Indiana's best punch, especially at home.

Well, I mean, damn it, you you win sixty eight games. You would think they don't underestimate Great teams. sixty eight victories. They have steamrolled their way through the NBA. sixty eight victories for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

They couldn't get the job done against the Miami Heat twelve and thirteen years ago. sixty eight wins this season. Who cares about Kevin Durant? and James Harden, and Russell Westbrook, They are one victory away From Shea Gilgas Alexander being the guy to change their fortunes. They picked this guy up from the Clippers.

Really only because You had a man. And man, he's certainly broken now in in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. And Paul George, they swapped him out and sent him to LA. They got Shea Gilgas pretty much in return. This is the gift that keeps on giving.

He won an MVP, and now he might deliver them their first title in franchise history. Listen to SGA. They are so close to winning a title. This is what he said about being oh, so close, but I guess, oh, so far. It doesn't feel much j different to be honest.

We um Trying to stay in the moment, trying to focus on the things that actually actually matter. And I think like just us focusing on Trying to be the best version of ourselves for Game Six and having that at the top of my mind is all that really matters. No, he's so Canadian cool. He's not bothered by anything. He's relaxed, he's chilled.

There's nothing that changes his mind about a damn thing.

Well, you've seen how he dresses, right? Got the shades on inside. Walks into the arena with the big baggy clothes. He's a model for Skim's underwear, which I think is owned by Kim Kardashian. Shea Gilgas Alexander is too cool.

At this stage of his career, why not? He's already been named an NBA regular season MVP. If he wins tonight, he's pretty much on the heels to being named the NBA Finals MVP. And we'll see what Jelly Williams does. This is a dream scenario.

for the Oklahoma City Thunder. You know, last night we learned that the Los Angeles Lakers would be moved, the majority of the franchise exchanged for $10 billion. You can still have a little engine that could. That can win our championship. You still have a little team that's not spending the big bucks, that is not Los Angeles, that's not New York, that's not Chicago, that can win a title.

The Oklahoma City Thunder almost did it years ago with Durant and Harden and Westbrook.

Well, now they have an opportunity to do it again. with SGA and Williams And I guess we can throw Holmgrim in there too, why not? What a world that we live in. Basketball has entered into a new space of parody. It's enough that we're in the NBA Finals, looking at the Pacers and the Thunder.

Who's signing up for that? Not a lot of people. But the Thunder are one win away from being champions tonight. Let's see if the Tyrese Halliburton let's see if the Pacers can go out there and just maybe scare them just a little bit It's a force of game seven. A game seven would be nice.

but I wouldn't bet on it. I wouldn't anticipate it. Let's see what goes down. They get going in a little more than two hours from now. We will certainly keep you up to date here on the Infinity Sports Network.

It is the JR Sport Reef show. We have so much to get into to talk some more basketball. James Herbert is going to join us. CBS Sports Rider. He'll be here.

We're going to talk about Shohi Otani. When's the next time that he's going to pitch? We got too many athletes that are out here outside driving a little crazy. Hopefully, you're not driving crazy. Let's keep people alive.

Hey, we got a great chat. The Club World Cup is going on for FIFA. We're going to have a conversation with two individuals from a team from South Africa. Yeah, you didn't expect to hear from South African individuals tonight, did you? But you will.

We'll talk about Josh Allen. He has some words on the tush push. Adrian Peterson is getting into a poker fight. And of course, at the end of the show, we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. It is.

july nineteenth. 2025. You are locked in to the JR Sport Reshow here with you, coast to coast, on the Infinity Sports Network. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.

O meant you could have as much Coca Cola as you want. And I'm here in Atlanta, Georgia, I'm here in OHOMA, Coca Cola, but man, you could have the Coca Cola, I'll have the other stuff, okay? The stuff that you put with the Coca-Cola. Anyway, 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN.

We're about two hours away from the start of the NBA Finals. We're staring at a game six. The Oklahoma City Thunder lead this series against the Pacers three to two. If they win tonight, it's curtains, it's a wrap, it's over. The Pacers want to force a game seven.

We just have to see whether or not Tyree's Halliburton is going to be available. I think he's gonna play. Is he going to be hampered? Is this just a distraction, distraction, distraction? We have no idea.

We have to wait and see. Of course, when the game gets started, we'll keep you up to date here on the Infiniti Sports Network as we get ready for game six of the NBA. Finals. Ryan Botch, are we done tonight? Before I talk about another team, Hoping for a championship that just lost a championship.

Are we done tonight, Botcher? If we aren't, I'd be extremely surprised. I think the Thunder have this basically easy. You said tonight's game is going to be easy? It should be.

Okay. If. If Halburton can't walk and or run for 48 minutes, it should be an easy game for the for the Thunder. Should be. You don't have uh too much hope in TJ McConnell that he'll help out then, huh?

No, I can't imagine TJ McConnell putting together four amazing quarters like last game. Damn. Yeah, well, every now and then he can kind of pop off. This is very tough for me.

Well, not really. I don't care. I don't get a. I don't get a share of the winner's income anyway. But looking at this series I say to myself, Of course I want seven games, the same way that I wanted seven games between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers.

It didn't work out that way. It didn't happen.

Okay, we got Edmondson that's kind of standing around looking at wounds and meanwhile we got the Florida Panthers who won the Stanley Cup two nights ago.

Well, they've A destroyed the Stanley Cup trophy and then B they don't have their parade until Sunday. And I looked it up. They had their parade last year on Sunday as well. I don't know what it is about Sundays in South Florida, but uh Whatever.

Somebody educate me if you live down there. Why the hell are they having a parade on Sunday? But besides that, I wish we got seven games here in the NBA Finals. I'm not holding my breath on it. I'm not expecting it, I'm not anticipating it.

And so we just have to wait and see. But speaking of of championships, there's a team that is very familiar with winning them. It's they're not in the NBA. It's the Kansas City Chiefs. And lo and behold, as it stands right now.

They have opened up MANDATORY MINICAMP Oh, what a world So we get to see Travis Kelsey and people get to ask him about his girlfriend. We get to see, you know, Mahomes and I don't know if people ask him about his dad. But then we also hear from the coach of the team. Andy Reid, And when you think about Andy Reid and being the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. Andy Reid has to answer questions pretty much.

about everybody. from his star quarterback and Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelsey, his star tight end, who's dating superstar Taylor Swift, uh even to Rashee Rice. And I don't remember if you re saw him from last year uh you didn't. Rashi Rice was pretty much gone last season, all due to an injury. But then also the fact that Rashi Rice had a little bit of an automobile incident where he was going too damn fast and injuring people and cars in the Metroplex.

down in Dallas. Last season, Rasheed Rice, a whopping three games, twenty-four receptions, and two touchdowns before he got hurt. Despite all of his legal issues, despite all of his physical issues. Of course, Andy Reid had to answer questions about his uh wide receiver. This is what he had to say about whether or not he can fit in and how he can fit out.

And then he also provided some insight About Josh Simmons, his offensive line. And take a listen to this. Yeah, yeah, I think they're they're both ready to go. Yeah. They actually got great work in in these camps here.

So.

Well Andy Reed was thinking about a cheeseburger, huh? Andy Reed was thinking about what he can or can't do after luck. It's June. Look, Josh Simmons would be nice to have out there on the offensive line. Sure, Rasheen Rice would be nice to have out there catching passes and maybe deflecting some of the attention from Travis Kelsey, but it's.

It's it's rather early right now. in the off season. You think about the Kansas City Chiefs and the dis I don't want to call it a disaster of what they saw last season. The Kansas City Chiefs, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, were Not mustering up too much of a fight. Getting pounded and beat down, Patrick Mahomes being destroyed.

There they are question marks about what they can do. Is Travis Helce Travis Kelsey, is he committed? Is he in the best shape? Is Rashi Rice better after blowing out his leg last season? They still have Juju Smith Schuster, who at this point just seems like an old man veteran.

Do they have enough to? still be at the top. of the A F C. And their head coach, Andy Reid.

Well, he was asked about that. Can can we do more with another wide receiver? Listen to this. Absolutely. Yeah.

Yeah, you're not going I mean, we're teaching everything, getting out of the huddle, the snap count. That's where we started with some of these guys last year.

So, yeah, no, it allows you to. Jump start lining up in all these crazy formations.

So you had to kind of back up on some of that stuff. Um Um It's things that you eat. as the season went on, we were able to expand a little bit and then hit it Get it running here. Yeah, listen. I I I g I guess when you reach the point of being June, it being June, and you having to communicate with the media about injuries from last year.

Yo you're probably done. You're probably, what the heck are we doing right now? I gotta answer questions about Rashi Rice. I got to answer questions about an offensive lineman who didn't even play last year because he was hurt when he was coming out of the Ohio State University. Why not?

If I was Andy Reid? I'd be in a Hawaiian shirt thinking about a cheese burger too. We know one of the big issues last season was the offensive line for the Kansas City Chiefs. Not their fault that Josh was not available. Simmons was not there to help protect this man.

And Andy Reid had an answer for that too. Ye can you count on this guy? this upcoming season? Can't he help Patrick Mahomes stand upright so he could win us a Super Bowl? This is what Andy Reid had to say.

Yeah, potentially, yes, yeah. No, he um listen, you can see his athletic ability, you can see his want to. He's got a great attitude, he's approached everything the right way, plus a little bit extra. You could tell if you just want to look at his rehab, you can see that he had a mindset that I'm gonna get in there, I'm not gonna, it's not gonna be training camp.

So it's gonna be like Now and And he worked his tail off to get there, so you you respect that part of it. Oh okay. All right, Andy Reed. Whatever. Uh we can hope that the guy's available.

Because watching that Superbowl was, uh well, And pretty embarrassing and pretty sad. Anytime you turn on the Super Bowl, it's either gonna go one of two ways: it'll be a great game, of which you hope. or it will be a complete annihilation. Last year, what we saw between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, it was an annihilation. It warn a fun.

It wasn't nothing cool to watch. It was pretty sad. It was pretty Pretty miserable. Bachra, when did you tune out from the Super Bowl? I mean, I watched the whole damn game, but I feel like by the time we even got to halftime, I was like, why am I watching this?

This is a waste. This is a party now.

So I actually worked the overnight right after the Super Bowl.

So I kind of needed a nap. Before I came in?

So I fell asleep at the beginning of the third quarter, right after the halftime show. And I was like, I'm okay with sleeping till the beginning of the fourth. Oh my god.

So you you mean to tell me? You are working here on the Infinity Sports Network before your shift, of course. Can't sleep at the job before your shift. You saw the score and said, I'm going to take a 20, 25 minute nap, 30 minute nap. During the third quarter?

Yes. And I could have extended into the fourth 'cause they really didn't have any chance to come back then. Bam. Yeah, Philadelphia Eagles beat the Chiefs 40 to 22. in that Super Bowl.

And you think about Patrick Mahomes, this man was sacked at six. times And so you think about Simmons coming out of The Ohio State University. If the Kansas City Chiefs want anything, They want a guy who can help keep Patrick Mahomes upright. I know Patrick Mahomes got a brand new haircut. I don't know if that's gonna help him all that much in being uh upright.

A Rasheed Rice being healthy well. An offensive line that can protect him, where you actually got guys playing in the correct positions, will certainly help him. And I don't know, maybe Travis Kelsey. not traveling around the world with uh and tailor's swift, Maybe that will actually help out. The Kansas City Chiefs' offense.

It's a possibility. I mean, you you never You never. No. A matter of fact, we're going to take a break. and when we come back, You know, let's let's hear from Travis Kelsey.

Because this global superstar is letting everybody know that Yeah, I'm trying to be better. I'm trying to be good. I want to win another Super Bowl. Yeah, I've lost some weight. Yeah, I got a superstar girlfriend.

Yeah, we get all of that, man. Are you going to help this team win? We're going to hear from Travis Kelsey on the other side of the break. And then, how much longer is he going to play? I mean, his brother was on Instagram, X, Twitter, whatever the hell it is.

His brother Jason was saying I already think my brains are going to be scrambled. What? Of course he didn't say it that way, but I did. I'll tell you what both of these Kelsey brothers said on the other side of the break. We're going to talk some basketball.

We're going to talk more football. We're going to talk some baseball. We got a lot to do here on the Infinity Sports Network. And right now, this minute, this second, it is time for a news flash. Here he is, Rich Ackerman.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. Yeah, there are a lot of lies to that, a lot of them. A lot of lies. It is the JR Sport Reef Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network, 888-710-57. 4ISN.

That's 888-710-4ISN. We open up the show by talking about the NBA Finals. It could conclude tonight if the Oklahoma City Thunder defeat the Indiana Pacers. In the last break, we talked about the Kansas City Chiefs. Andy Reid spoke at Mandatory Minicamp and he said, Yeah, our guys who were hurt last year.

Rashee rice Joss Simmons, the Offensive lineman we just selected, yeah, they're they're both expected to be healthy. and hopefully they will help us. move along to the next level, the next step, which is ultimately won in a championship. And damn it, the Chiefs were close until they got to that Super Bowl, and yeah, they got waxed by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now, I do want to talk to you about a few individuals who Yeah, they're trying to win championships. They might be closer to the end than they are to the beginning. And, well, damn it. Two of th well, now that I think about it, I'm gonna talk to you about three guys. I'm going to talk to you about one active Kansas City Chief.

One guy who is gone, from the Philadelphia Eagles. and another man, who decided to hang him up and retire from the NFL today. Uh most recently he I guess he kinda sorta just about played. For the New York Jets, let's finish up with the Chiefs, okay? Let's think about.

Travis Kelsey. We talked about him yesterday, refuting claims that he lost 25 pounds. That's a lot of pounds to lose for an NFL player. It's not like the guy graduated, woke up and said, I don't want to be a tight end. I just want to be, I don't know, a wide receiver.

It don't work that way. It's not like he woke up and went from being an offensive lineman to a wide out. Kind of tough to just wake up and just say, I'm going to drop twenty five. to thirty pounds. And so Kelsey admitted that he lost some weight.

Wouldn't admit to how much he lost, but said that that much was absolutely ridiculous. And I talked to you yesterday about the man who has now fallen from about 900 yards a season to 800 yards a season, can't muster more than three and four touchdowns. As a result, Mm-hmm. Travis Kelsey has been asked. Is he done?

Is he finished? Is he going to hang out with his girlfriend on her tour? Is he going to be with Taylor Swift going from Tokyo to Australia to Mexico to Africa? I don't know. Travis Kelsey asked about whether or not we will see him pass this season.

This is what he said. I got one year on this contract. I know that. And we'll go try and figure out something for next year. The Chiefs organization knows how much I love him.

I can't see myself ever playing anywhere else.

So we'll deal with that down the road when the time is right. But right now I'll focus on winning the championship this year. Oh, boy. It listen, man, if they win a championship, you mean to tell me that Travis Kelsey won't just leave? That he won't just walk away.

He's in the midst. of a two-year contract. $34 million. When it's done, it's done. Damn it, I'll tell you this, if if he won a championship last year, If he won the Super Bowl, if he was Super Bowl MVP, if he could go ahead and kiss his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

I don't think we'd see another minute. of Travis Gowsey. But he's trying for a little bit of that get back. put that spare tire around his waist, Put on some pounds, Was criticized for what he was doing in the offseason, criticized for not being able to get you more than five touchdowns. Of course, he doesn't want to end his Hall of Fame career like that.

He's going into the Hall of Fame. How many accolades he has there, whether or not he could win another trophy, is all dependent on just quote unquote how he pads his stats. And damn it, if I was on the receiving end of passes from Patrick Mahomes, I'd be out there patting my stats, too. Travis Kelsey is looking for a bounce back. season, especially after last year.

Listen to what Kelsey had to say about that disaster. I'm only interested in Super Bowl rings. I know what the AFC championship means to this organization and the family. And you know, the 15 wins and everything is something special that I let everybody else. be happy with.

Last year wasn't a success for me and I'm motivated to make sure that we get that other ring this year. Look, last year Travis Gelzy rolled out of bed. after hanging out with uh Taylor Swift all off season. Could only muster 823 yards receiving to go along with three touchdowns. Come on now.

Travis Kelsey Three touchdowns. That's pathetic. If he would have won he would have walked off. Hey, Botcher, you you think so? If if Travis Kelsey won a Super Bowl last year, if he had another spectacular season, you think he would have retired?

No. I really I I think he's one of those guys that'll play till his body gives up on him. Damn. And I think last year was signs that he kind of was like, okay, it's starting to go. I'm going to lose some weight, play this season, and see how I feel.

I would think after winning the Super Bowl, I'd just hang out with my wealthy girl. His girlfriend is a billionaire, right? Yeah. But still, people. Kelsey's are addicted with football.

And I don't see him giving it up that easily.

Okay. I mean, his other brother quit rather easily, and it's not like Travis Kelsey hasn't throughout the course of his life and professional career. Wanted to ultimately be A celebrity I mean, this man has been on reality television shows. He's hosting game shows. Travis Kelsey is Mr.

Hey, everybody Watch me now. It's not a shock that he's out here dating. Taylor Swift, I mean, Taylor Swift, I don't want to say that she just fell into the trap, but. This is the type of thing or situation that Travis Kelsey has historically looked for. And now we just have to see how much he's going to let it roll.

And, you know, just even thinking about how long anything rolls, if you take a look at his brother. his brother for years after thirteen years with the Philadelphia Eagles. He called it a rap. And now they're making all this money with the podcast and everything. And you want to talk about health.

It's one thing to be a tight end, We know that his brother Jason was out there. He was a a center. And he was on social media. And he made a comment that Secretary at the Horse That this horse was on PEDs, and you had a horse rider who basically said that he must, Jason Kelsey, have a brain disease. Jason Kelsey did not find that to be too funny.

He responded in the affirmative. He said I mean I can virtually guarantee That I have CTE. all the research would suggest that I have some degree of it. I think it is entirely reasonable to assume that I have some degree of that pathology.

Well, damn. I mean, I think the writer was just trying to be a you know what? And uh Jason Kelsey was just like, uh, yeah, no, bro, I probably actually do have a degenerative brain disease. He continued on, he didn't stop there. Even though there's no test to see if I currently have CTE, the evidence suggests that I probably do.

Just like the reality that a lot, if not most, of the high-level horses of the 70s and 80s were doping because of adequate twists, adequate tests. not being available. What Anne? Who would have thought that a conversation about horses taking steroids would have been a Jason Kelsey telling everybody that he has some degree of CTE. That's pretty sad.

And you think about guys playing in the trenches, the offensive line, a defensive line of the NFL. How many train wrecks? Are they experiencing in a singular game? How many times are those helmets just out there colliding like? nobody's business.

And you would think that Travis takes a look at his brother, Although they play different positions, You would think that he would go. Man, you know what? I want to get out of here A alive. Uh successful. And also with a a decent brain chemistry where I can focus in on the rest of my life.

Hey, so listen. Travis Kelsey, regardless of how much longer he plays after this season. What are the odds that the Chiefs win another title? I'm not going to put it past Patrick Mahomes every year just like Super Bowl or runner up. Kelsey, get your money.

And if you're not going to get your money, Just hang out with your girlfriend. Take her money. You treat your girlfriend good enough, I'm sure pretty sure she'll pay for lunch and dinner and and breakfast and all of the things that come with having a great girlfriend. I I wouldn't I wouldn't have any idea. Uh anyway, Somebody else had actually walked away.

It's not Travis Kelsey. We know his brother Jason is long gone. Linebacker CJ Mosley, five-time Pro Bowler, most recently for the New York Jets. not this past season because he was hurt and he sucked. But between the Ravens and the Jets, five Pro Bowls, championship at Alabama, one of the best linebackers we've seen over the past decade plus, he has decided to hang it up.

He's calling it a career. Listen to what he posted on Instagram. I followed you my whole life, not knowing where you would take me. To envision myself as a Ray Lewis or a Brian Urlacher was just the first steps of this 11-year journey. You opened doors that I once only dreamed of.

You gave me passion, you gave me strength, self-endurance, pain, and most importantly, the DNA to trust and lead men. Today, it is time to wake up from my childhood dream and share it with the next generation. I spent my whole life and career building my legacy.

Now it's time to start a new chapter with new dreams. It won't be easy, but I'm here to tell you: every sacrifice is worth it. When you wake up, what will your legacy look like? Oh damn. That was the message that he posted on social media to tell everybody he was done.

This past season for the New York Jets, I mean, it was like a toe injury, a leg injury, and you ain't really see him all that much. Ravens fans remember him, Jets fans remember him, But CJ Mosley at thirty three years old is like, Listen, man, I'm tired of hitting people. I'm gonna watch other people hit each other, and I'm just gonna go out here and count My money. The NFL an unforgiving league. Football an unforgiving sport.

Jason Kelsey sitting around going, Yeah, I probably have CTE. The hell you want from me, I'm rich. He didn't say the last part I did. It's the JR Sport Read Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. We're going to take a break when we come back.
