Man, these athletes, when you slow down, you slow down. Gotta take care of yourself all the way through.

Well we'll talk about that. And then bo speaking of football players, my God. And before we went to break, we talked about Antonio Brown. Antonio Brown has a warrant out for his arrest. ATTEMPTED MURDER You can't make some of this stuff up.

Anyway, if you want to be a part of the show, you can do that. Eight eight eight seven ten four I S N That's eight eight eight seven ten. For ISN. You can also find me on the internet where I exist. I am at JR Sport Brief.

At JR Sport Brief everywhere. What a day, what a day, what a what a Sometimes I stop and go, what a world we live in. It is so complex, but people are so simple. There's so much access to the internet and technology, and there's so many ridiculous things that go Like we really just talked about. A hockey game Oh, the Stanley Cup finals ain't a hockey game.

The best of the best. We talked about the NBA finals. And then we just talked about an NFL player who has a warrant out for his arrest, Antonio Brown. from attempted murder. What a what a what world are we living in?

Like, if this was 1994, this dude would be on I-95 in a. A bronco down in Miami. Like, he'd be in a white bronco, just Being chased. Ray, I fear Do you see Antonio Brown just calmly turning himself in. Absolutely not.

This is going to go the distance. He's going to have a, to keep the Grant Theft photo references going, he's going to have a six-star rating. And we're all going to be locked into the news as he complains about the NFL ruining his brain. He's going to have a whole emotional meltdown before eventually being removed by the law enforcement agency. This is sad.

You think he's getting picked up somewhere, or is he going to be chased? This is. I just, I'm scared, but I feel that there's going. When it comes down to him being apprehended. Because I don't think he's turned himself in.

I we're in for a spectacle, man. Where for a spectacle? He's going to get carried out of whatever establishment he's in at the moment of his arrest. This is I hope it doesn't. Go back.

for this dude. It's already bad. I guess attempted murder is bad. Like, I can't even remember. And this is it's sad, it really is.

And everybody knows the perils and the dangers of playing in the NFL. I don't think there's a player who goes into it. feeling or or believing that they're going to walk out unscathed. Whether it's a shoulder, a knee, a hip, a foot. A brain, obviously.

Um I I just I don't I don't hear NFL player and just go Murder. I don't hear any athlete, you know, just go murder. This OJ Aaron Hernandez And I mean to For guns, that's that's it. And I don't OJ, and I don't know well. He has some other w uh things allegedly.

Is there any? Am I missing somebody? It's it in like 30 years. I can't think of nobody else. Nobody at that level.

No, you had OJ, you had the tight end Hernandez, and then the rest of it. You had like some Mets players, but they weren't committing crimes. They were just having too much fun in the 80s. But as far as being criminals, those are the two guys that stick out the most. You had that running back from the Rams, Lawrence something.

I forget his last name at the moment. He killed somebody? No, he got in a little trouble, but he didn't kill anyone. I'm just trying to see if there's anyone else out there. But he hit, I mean, and this is also terrible.

I was going to say, there was a guy on the Rams. He was a running back. He had put his hands on, I think it was his girlfriend or wife or whoever she was. Yeah, his first name was Lawrence, but I can't remember his last name right now. It's been about a cool 20 years since we've talked about it.

Yeah, it's just bad. There And I can't, you know, I'm not going to pin it. On athletes, because this is obviously what we're talking about, but There's times, a lot of times, where it gets Pinned on all these NFL players, all these NBA players. Like, there's a lot of horrible, awful things. That are happening right down the block from you in your neighborhood, except for these people who are not famous.

And I think that ultimately, athletes who have the world at their fingertips, the world at their disposal. From a financial perspective, from an experience perspective, and just there's so much that they're exposed to. That they get and a lot of times painted in a negative light. Where you think about the majority of athletes who do have access and make good money and everything that they do is public, their targets. I would say the vast majority of these individuals I'm fine.

They're perfectly fine. It's just that you have these outliers, and there's always gonna be outliers in society.

Okay, people are scamming and stealing, doing horrible, horrific things on the fringes of society, or thinking that they can get away with it right in front of people's faces. It exists all over the place. But the the majority of athletes They're cool. They're not out here, you know On a murder charges. It's just.

Well, all the best it is, dude, okay. All the best to Antonio Brown. This is this is why And I think, Ray, me and you, I think we've had this conversation on the air. That's why when when people get at LeBron, I'm like, What are you mad at LeBron for? Because he had a comment about China?

Like, okay, okay, get over it. Like, just. People finding something. We got a guy in LeBron. I'd be shocked.

If this story was about LeBron James, like, come on, that sounds ridiculous. I'd be like, is this NBA Centel? Like, i d did somebody hack TMZ, if I got to see a story about LeBron James' attempted murder. I'd be like, What are we what are we doing here? That would make no damn sense.

But this is Antonio Brown. And then, and speaking of LeBron James. NBA finals are going on. I wish I could say LeBron was quiet, but he's not. He's doing his podcast with uh with Steve Nash at the moment.

And because there's basketball going on, LeBron James is putting in his two cents about the finals. But then LeBron James decided to put in his two cents about something else. Media coverage. Come on. LeBron James grew up in Akron, played for the Cavaliers, went down to Miami.

Went back to Cleveland, left Cleveland, went to the second biggest media market in the entire country, went to Hollywood to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. This man knows about a small market. He knows about being in a ridiculously huge market just on planet Earth. And he was on his Mind the Game show with Steve Nash, and LeBron James was just like. The media needs to do a better job, Highlighting everybody.

Listen to LeBron. Listen, I played in Cleveland for 11 years and we were a small market. You know, so until you got there. Yeah, until I got there, then we became a big market. But I don't know.

I just think that I think it's all about just the storylines. It's about what people can say on TV and create these, you know, Superman versus Batman or DC Comics versus, you know, Marvel. When it comes to the game of basketball, it doesn't matter. Who's representing who? It's about Two great teams.

You know, and we talked previously in a lot of our episodes about, yes, you know, we praise a lot of individuals, and rightfully so. We have unbelievable individuals in our sport over the years have done great things and have put themselves in a position to be talked about. I get it. But one thing we cannot disrespect is great teams. You know, we have this Indiana OKC situation, and these are two.

Great teams. And if you are a basketball fan and you really love our game, then you can learn so much from watching the way those of those teams play. What is he talking about? Who, I mean. Is there a concern?

Here's the deal: there's no super, superstars. You ain't playing LeBron. Luca's not out there. Durant is not out there. Steph Curry, where he at?

There's no no Giannis? Like these are stars And old Damien Lillard runnin' around. No combination of Tatum and Brown.

So I don't think anybody come who cares? Like, yeah, let's kill that argument right out the gate, okay? We got the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the NBA Finals right now, this minute. This second.

When LeBron James played for the Miami Heat in 2012, And he played and took on. the Oklahoma City Thunder to win his first title. Nobody cared. About the cities and where they were located. Nobody cared.

You want to know why? Because Oklahoma City had Kevin Durant. Russell Westbrook. And James Harden as their stars. Nobody they could have put that basketball team in Topeka, Kansas.

No disrespect to Topeka. They could have put him in Sheboygan. They could have put him in, I don't know. Everybody would have watched because of the names and the stars. Shake Yilgis Alexander.

He might be the M V P. He's certainly ascending when it comes to fame and notoriety. He's in these underwear commercials. He's. doing insurance now with his teammates and Yeah, his profile is Canada, Canadian.

His profile is going to keep on growing. But he's not in the category of where you are, LeBron. Come on now. And then even Tyrese Halliburton. People more people know him right now.

His profile will continue to grow. If he wins, or if he becomes even more of a villain, You know, they had this conversation yesterday about: oh, well, who's a superstar? Magic Johnson's like a star can sell out an arena. People want to see him.

Well, you know what? That's that's Steph Curry. Warriors come to town. People want to see Steph Curry. People want to see LeBron.

I think in a few years, I hope he stays healthy. Victor Wembanyama. Will be selling out buildings. When the man walks out onto the court for warm-ups, people are like, Oh my God. These are superstars.

We don't have no superstars playing in the NBA Finals right now. And so I think LeBron is wrong. Like people appreciate who's out there. But you got you got to bolster the resume first in this series right now. This this NBA Finals, it's a first step.

Cover the small market. I don't think a lot of fans care. I don't think younger fans. Care. They're following the players.

You're looking to see where the best guys are. They don't care about the markets, man. And I I I'd I'd I'd venture to tell you. There are young NBA fans, or maybe there's adult NBA fans. that watched the games, And they know John Morant plays for the Memphis Grizzlies.

But if you ask them, to find Memphis on the map. They wouldn't. If you would ask them the population of Memphis, They don't know. They just know John Morant is, he's a unique character. Oh, I like him.

He dunks a lot. Acrobatic and gets hurt. Uh and I like him. He plays for the Grizzlies. That's it.

You could be in New York, you could be in Oklahoma City, you could be in Memphis, you could be down in New Orleans, Louisiana. I love New Orleans. Maybe too much. But the fact remains I I think LeBron is wrong. Nobody cares about the markets any more.

It's about the talent, the guys who are actually Playing there. Ray, what do you think about what LeBron said? I think that we have to peel the layers back just a bit, JR. I think this is another veiled swipe. at ESPN and his new arch and embassy, Stephen A.

Smith. Oh wow. You look at some of the guys they had on in the lead up to the finals. You had the Morris Twins who were saying there's no great teams left in the playoffs when we're clearly looking at two great teams for the modern NBA. We've kind of seen Stephen A in that pass.

Not necessarily peshaw, but not show real interest in the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Indiana Pacers, even further ESPN at the time, because starting next season, as we know, NBC is going to get involved in the league coverage. And I think there's another network that's escaping me right now. But the Lions shared. Amazon, there it is. But the lion's share of it is still ESPN, and ESPN still has majority damn near the full ISO.

The whole season passed, OKC 68 win team, statistically, one of the greatest teams of all time. No hyperbole. If you go look up the numbers, statistically, they're one of the greatest single-season teams of all time. And they have not gotten any coverage from the main proprietor of NBA coverage or NBA basketball in America, ESPN.

So now he has another opportunity to take a swipe at Stephen A. Smith, going back to the issues with Bronny. And now that he's in his old man bag, he's 40 years old. He's at the end of his career. He feels that he can say what he wants.

Any chance he gets to talk about Stephen A, whether directly or indirectly, I feel that LeBron's going to take the opportunity. Oh wow. Well, he's still wrong, man. Take your petty beef and go yell at him in his face again.

Okay. We got a he got a whole offseason. He can go find Stephen A. Smith. Hey, LeBron James, find find something else to do if you uh.

Don't talk about the media. You in the media now, so just You got the shop and all this other stuff, so you go ahead and uh. Talk about the small markets. It's the JR Sport Reeshow here with you, coast to coast, on the Infinity Sports Network. We come back on the other side of the break.

We're going to talk about Edmonton. and sunrise. The Oilers and the Panthers. We're going to talk about the Stanley Cup finals, what's going on right now, what we can expect the rest of the way, what adjustments need to take place. Sean McKendo is joining us, covers all things hockey at the Athletic.

It's the JR Sport Reshow on the Infinity Sports Network. It is the JR Sport Brief Show here on the Infinity Sports Network. Oh, yeah, we're talking about trophies.

Well, the biggest trophy, the best trophy I think. In sports The Stanley Cup Trophy. But before we get to that, I need you to thank O'Reilly Auto Parts for all of your car care needs, get guaranteed low prices, and excellent customer service from the professional parts people at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Edmondson comes back to beat the Panthers last night. The series is tied at two games a piece.

They go back to Edmondson. And joining us right now. To talk about what we've seen. all of the goals and what we can expect. The rest of the way, we are being joined by Sean McIndoo, who covers all things hockey, as senior writer for the athletic.

Sean, how are you? I'm doing good. Thank you for having me on.

Well, thank you for taking the time to join us. We saw what took place last year as the Panthers had a lead, and then Edmonton fought back and forced a game seven. I mean, what we saw last night was absolutely nuts. I mean, are we in store for the same? I know the series is tied now.

This series is really shaping up as a classic and uh Boy, you you you can't almost can't wait to see what sort of Twists and turns I got planned for us in the next, I'll just say the next three games. It could be two. But this this just feels like it's it's gotta go seven. You felt that at the beginning of the series, right? I mean, we got seven last year.

You you figure that uh the the the rematch has gotta go to the same place. Um and uh first two games were were fantastic. Overtime games, late goals, all of that stuff. to the point that, you know, some of us who are in this uh this content business We're looking at it going, are we already starting to see the makings of maybe one of the great Stanley Cup finals in in modern history. Then game three comes along and it's a stinker.

Just a blowout, just the Florida Panthers go to work and do what the Florida Panthers do, and the Oilers have no answer for it. And it felt like last night was going to be the same thing for that first period. And you're sitting there going, you know what, we thought we had a classic on our hands. This series might be over in five games. Florida's dominating.

And then the Edmonton Oilers flipped the switch. They found another level. Uh and a huge missed opportunity now for the Florida Panthers who could be talking about winning the Stanley Cup in a few nights and now they're talking about an epic collapse. Yeah, well, yeah, you talked about the blowout. It's 6-1.

They start off 3-0.

Now they head up to Edmonton. Like, besides defense, is this just, well, I guess it is defense, is this just a matter of lapses and getting too comfortable? Like, this is a little too, too easy to give up here. Yeah, I mean i it's it's tough to score. In the NHL playoffs, especially in the final, or at least it's supposed to be.

Also, you look at this series, we've seen winning teams scoring at at least four goals in every uh every game of the series so far. Uh the the one thing you maybe would point to if you're the Oilers, and I'm I'm a bit hesitant point at the goaltending because Stuart Skinner was not good in game three. But in game four, he gives up three goals in the first period. He gets yanked out of the game. Calvin McCarr comes in, takes over, and Edmonton goes on to win.

And normally that's the sort of script when you see that, you say, okay, ha ha, there it is. Coaching staff made the right move. They yanked the goalie out. They got the better guy in, and he shut it down. The thing is, Stuart Skinner wasn't bad last night.

Stuart Skinner in that first period was all alone. That was the problem. He was one guy out there fighting against a whole team and gave up the three goals.

Sometimes coaches pull a goalie because the goalie's not playing well.

Sometimes they do it because they're just trying to wake the team up. But for whatever reason, it worked. Kalbin Picker was great for the rest of the way, gave up only the one late goal. And presumably, he's now the starter.

So maybe if you're Edmonton, you're saying, you know, forget about all those goals we gave up when it was Stuart Skinner. Even if it wasn't his fault, we got a different guy back there, different look, and that's what's going to keep the Florida Panthers off the board. Sean McIndoo is here with us, covers all things hockey at the athletic. You talk about Stuart Skinner getting benched. You assume that's where they're going to keep him?

I would think so. There was some talk after game three about whether they go back to Stuart Skinner, who has been, he's their starter, but he's not the the guy. He's not the capital T, capital G, the guy like some teams have, like Sergei Brosky. Sergeant Brusky give up 10 goals a game and he's not going to lose starts. In in Florida.

80% of fans out there could not even tell you who the Florida Panthers backup goalie is. And we see that. There's a few other teams out there in the league that are like that. Stuart Skinner already lost his job once. in this playoffs, uh in the in the series against LA.

Only got it back 'cause Calvin Picker got hurt. And then Stuart Skitter came in and played great and he held on to it. And that's what the Oilers wanted to see from him. And uh but there was some talk. He hasn't been very good in this in this whole series, including the first two games.

There was some talk maybe they would go away from him. I didn't think they would. They didn't. But now when you've pulled a guy twice Uh I think at this point, if he's not on the bench for game five, A, I will be surprised and B, the leash will be incredibly short. I mean, we might be talking one goal, two at the most before they would be swapping him in.

And if you if the leash is going to be that short, Maybe you just go to the back up anyways.

Well, Sean, we know flying eight hours from South Florida up to Edmonton. We know that there naturally, the fans are going to be wild and crazy. The momentum is now swung. Towards the Oilers side. But what else?

What else do they need to do to get all to a hot start? Because these comebacks are not. It's not going to work. Besides having a home ice, what do they need to do to not? Be behind five goals and three goals right out the gate.

Two things, one of which they did well in game four and not well at all in game three, which is stay out of the penalty box. And we say that for every team in the playoffs. Obviously, it's crucial in any hockey game, especially this time of year, but especially against the Florida Panthers, because we know what this team is. We have seen them three years in a row now in the Stanley Cup final. We've seen them beat team after team in the playoffs to get there.

We know the Florida Panthers style. They are a bunch of dirtbags. They get under your skin. They walk right up to the line. And then when the ref's not looking, they step over the line and then they jump back and they put their hands up and they say, well, ref, he's hitting me back.

Are you going to do something about it? And half the time, it works. And it's infuriating. But you know what? That's the game plan.

You know what you're up against. And full credit to them for pulling it off. And the Oilers kind of got suckered into playing that game in game three, although, granted, sort of after the outcome was already determined. Not as bad in game. For so they've got to do that.

It can sometimes be tougher at home because the crowd's cheering, and you know, if you throw a big hit or you knock a guy down, you throw a shot at somebody, you know you're going to get the big reaction from the crowd, but you can. Can't go to the penalty box. That's step one. Step 2.

Somehow we are four games into what's been a very high scoring series and Connor McDavid has not scored in this series yet. The best player in the world, the best player of his generation has been held off the scoreboard.

Now I'm saying off the scoreboard. He's got six assists.

So he's got six points, number two in the entire series. But if you're Connor McDavid being number two in anything is a slump.

So Somehow the Panthers have held him off the scoreboard as far as putting the puck in the net. If that continues, great news for Florida. What terrifies you if you're Florida is you're sitting there going, man, we're tied 2-2. We only got three games left in this series. We have not seen the Connor McDavid game yet.

We almost know for certain that we are going to. When's that going to happen? Is that going to be game five in front of the home team that he finally says, you know what, guys, get on my back. I'm going to win one, which I have not done yet in this series so far.

Well, Sean, we know last year it took seven for Florida to go out there and win. It shouldn't have took seven, but it took them seven. And this looks like it it might be the same. And we know these guys getting treated nice on the plane and on the road and whatnot. But is there not a point in time where all this crisscrossing has an effect on what we see on the ice?

You would think so. We've been waiting for that, but it hasn't really happened yet. And especially with Florida, again, full credit to them. This is a team, this is year three now, that they are in the Stanley Cup final. And typically, very often in the NHL, you will see a team that goes to the final, whether they win or lose, but especially if they lose, the next season they come out and they're looking good, but then about halfway through, they hit the wall, and you just see them start to fade.

And you say, yeah, you look back and you go, other teams get four months off in the summer. These guys had maybe two months. And maybe it didn't even feel like that once you've done all the celebrations and the parades and everything. You're right back out there. We just haven't seen it for Florida.

They don't seem to get fatigued. And we don't seem to see it for Edmonton either. And the travel is an issue, especially tomorrow night. It's a very weird schedule because we have all these extra gaps in the schedule. And yet...

This time, despite the fact that there's cross-national travel in the middle of it, they're playing on 48 hours' notice.

So i if we're ever going to see any fatigue, this is when we should see it. But so far with these two teams, and especially Florida, who've been doing it three years in a row, we haven't seen it yet.

So, you know, maybe these guys just don't worry about that. They've got they they're maybe they're looking at each other going, we got all summer to be exhausted right now. We've got to find whatever's left. In game five tomorrow up in Edmonton, what is your overall thought on who's going to walk away with the Stanley Cup? You know what?

I I picked the Oilers at the beginning of this of the series. I'm sticking with it. I think this is finally it. The Canadian drought. Finally ends.

Haven't had a Stanley Cup up here since 1993. I think this is when it ends. I may have said the same thing last year and turned out to be wrong. I could absolutely be wrong again this time because I mean the Florida Panthers are are are just a One of the great playoff hockey teams that we've ever seen. But I think Destiny is come calling for Conr McDavid and Leondre Seidel and friends.

I think it happens in Edmonton. I think it happens in Seven. Ian Edmonton for the seventh game. Canada gets the cup, gets to keep the cup. I hope I'm right.

So, please don't look up my track record.

Well, listen, as long as we get some good hockey out of every, and we've certainly got a lot of that. All this scoring. Are you surprised at how much scoring we've seen? I am. I am.

And I say that despite the fact that these are two star-studded teams. You know, this is just typically the way in the NHL, even when you put two teams that have a ton of offensive talent up against each other, both teams in the playoffs seem to want to play those sort of 2-1 games. Let's not go too far. Let's not go high event. Let's not go end-to-end.

Which doesn't make any sense. You would think one of the teams at least would say, hey, if we've got more skill, we should want high event hockey where the skill wins out. But it's just become a thing in the NHL. You play tight. You try to win 2-1.

2-1 is a good period for these two teams the way they're playing. And you know what? Maybe the coaches don't like it. They're the only two people who don't like it because everyone else who's watching this thinks it's fantastic. 5-4 last time.

That was great. Let's go 6-5 for the next one. Hey, I'm here. The more hockey, the better. We know that ultimately it's going to end sooner than later.

So I'm here for as much as we can get. Before the season comes to a close. Hey, Sean, thank you for the time. As always, please tell everybody how they can follow you, your writings, your work with the Athletic. Yeah, come find me at The Athletic.

They were going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. They're out there trading goals. And about an hour from now, Man, they're going to be just trading baskets between the Oklahoma City Thunder. And the Indiana Pacers. Pacers are trying to go up 3-1.

against OKC. And speaking of trading of anything, I got two interesting stories when it comes down to a trade. Let's talk about The good first.

Well, I guess, yeah, let's talk about the good player. Let's talk about the Hall of Fame player. One of the greatest scorers of all time. Gettin' ready to turn thirty seven years old. is not the same guy.

But can still go out there and get you a bucket. I guess it certainly helps when you are seven feet tall. You're ridiculously skilled and athletic, and that's that's Kevin Durant. You know, the Phoenix Suns are trying to get rid of this man. They couldn't offload him in the regular season because Bradley Beal wanted to leave and the Suns suck.

This has to be ridiculously disappointing for Kevin Durant. We know that he is somebody who typically just. bounces around out of whim just looking for his own happiness. I mean, he did want to leave Brooklyn, so you're in Phoenix, and Phoenix sucked, and now you want out of there. And so we know he's gonna go.

And it's been talked about him going to Minnesota or going to Houston or maybe even going. to the New York Knicks.

Well, Sham Shirania, he was on Pat McAfee's show. And he had a little bit of an update on Kevin Durant. And he might be traded, Durant would be, as soon as.

Next week, listen.

So, what Shams had to say? There's not going to be a Giannis-Kevin-Durant intermingling trade going on. You said a week. I think it could be even sooner than that. I think there's some motivation with some teams, potentially even sooner than seven days.

You know, maybe in the next few days, we could get some Kevin Durant trade action. There is some serious traction on conversations, on trade scenarios with the Suns. They've had about six to eight teams reach out. There's been interest. There's been some offers.

There's been some negotiations. But really, in the last 24, 48 hours, I'm told the focus of the Suns conversation has been on a few of the teams. And here they are: the Houston Rockets. The Miami Heat. And the Minnesota Timber Wolves.

I'm told those are the three teams right now where a lot of the focus for Durant lies. There's some motivation. Does he want to go there?

Sooner than later.

So that is, it's a great question you ask, AJ, because he's on an expiring contract, about $54 million. And so that could also come up as an issue here, where if there's a team that for sure wants his extension, Or will there be a team? We saw what happened with Kawhi Leonard in 2019, where, or actually 2018, and then he won the championship in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors, where they just literally had no idea whether he wanted to be there, probably didn't want to be there. And they trade for him, they won a championship, then he leaves anyway.

So, will there be a team, whether it's in this mix or a wildcard team, that just takes a swing and just banks on themselves and hope that they can potentially make a deep run and kill. Keep them there. Oh, man. In a week though? What?

The NBA Finals, if they go to a game seven, I think based on what we've seen. I still got the Thunder and six, but at this point, you can't discount seven games. That wouldn't be Until a week From Sunday. Like the NBA season at maximum is going to continue for a week. And so maybe Shams is like, oh, season ends.

Like, you just can't be trading dues during the course of now. No, you gotta wait for the season to end. Damn. What a fast-forward button that would be. And if I'm Kevin Durant, by the way.

Like, send me to Houston if the team is still young and good. They're sending me to Minnesota if I get to play with Anthony Edwards. And of course, they ain't moving him. I wanna go to Miami? What do I wanna go to Miami for?

And if Kevin Durant is going to the Knicks, I listen, I I could understand it from the Knicks perspective. They have dug themselves so much of a hole by now You might as well keep digging and go for it. You went for the risk. You want to go all in? You want to get rid of Tom Thibodeau and you last offseason or right before the season.

You decided to bring on Carl Anthony Thomas with Julius Randall. I do not knock you for that. Just go for it. You might as well. You'd have to Send Carl Anthony Towns to Phoenix, Arizona.

I don't think he'd be mad about that playing with his old Kentucky teammate. A Devon Booker? I think if I'm a Suns fan, I'd sign up for that. I still don't think you winning anything. And if you're the Knicks Uh Is is Durant an upgrade over Carl Anthony Towns?

I guess in a stretch, right? Not for the long run. What a disaster. Let's see where Kevin Durant ends up. And I'm still not all that so.

I'm I guess it's fifty fifty when it comes down to Giannis. Is Giannis Teracumpo gonna be moved from Milwaukee? You say he has yet to request a trade. He's the type of guy I could see Giannis. playing around a bunch of bums for a year.

If he feels the plan is worth it, or he might move. If I'm here, I'm leaving. Ain't gonna turn around the Milwaukee Bucks that damn fast, buddy.

Sorry about that. Anyway, congratulations, Kevin Durant. You eventually will be traded. Are you gonna get a contract extension? I don't know about that, man.

Let's see.

Now, that's the legendary player. Hall of Fame player. We'll be moved. We got a bum. Who got moved yesterday?

And this is the greatest case. of Be Careful What You Ask For, You just My Get it. Yesterday. I told you, and he is now Former Player. Aaron Savale This man decided that he did not want to be Coming out the bullpen.

that he wanted to be A starter. He was demoted. He has an E R A of five. He started his career. All the well, not all the way, up he started his career, in Cleveland.

He was a brewer. They decided to demote him. Because they got a cr a prospect. You might have heard about him last night. Jacob Mizurowski.

This guy was throwing gas 100 miles per hour, 103 miles per hour. And so what the brewers did. They told Aaron Savale, Sit down. You're going to the bullpen. We got to make room.

Savale has been on the injured list. He's only made five starts. He has an E R A of five. This bum, and I'm gonna call him a baseball bum. Nobody's showing up to see Aaron Savale pitch.

Nobody looks at the schedule in the day's game and says, oh, I'm just going to tune in to watch this guy. Ain't nobody doing that. And so he had the nerve. with an ERA of phi. To ask for a trade And he got it.

Congratulations, Aaron Savale. You have gone from the Brewers? To the team that had the worst record in baseball history last year. The Chicago White Sox. This is one of those cases where it really boils down to congratulations.

You played yourself. Chicago has the worst record. in the American League. They are twenty three and forty six. They have a team ERA of four point One nine?

And damn it, now he can add to it. He can throw in his five spot there. There's just uh Man, sometimes you just gotta shut the hell up. And so you want to be a starter? And maybe this is a grand maybe this is a grand scheme.

I can go to a bum ass team. I can be the best of the worst guys here. And maybe somebody will pay attention. and give me a job next year. He's deciding to uh not potentially win with the Brewers.

It just go to a loser. I don't know. To me, that just seems like a loser's mentality. Unless all of a sudden, Aaron Savale, his ERA drops from five to one point nothing. and he gets himself a job and then I guess he's the smartest dude in the room.

But based on his track record, his seven year history in Major League Baseball, Yeah, that ERA is going to be somewhere about. Four. The guy hadn't been all that good. Since he came up in like 2019 and had an ERA of two. I think we're quiet a few years Away from that one.

And listen, think about that over the weekend. Be careful what you ask for. You just might get it. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. And sometimes everything going on with the house next door, inside, outside, the grass.

Things are just empty. In dead. Aaron Savali, congratulations, you played yourself. Welcome. Welcome to the Chicago White Sox.
