If you got a smart speaker, hands free, ask the speaker to play the Infinity Sports Network. Hey, it's Friday. You know what that means? It's a couple of days away from Mother's Day. Hope you're all ready and set. Hey, we're going to have a chat with a mother. And she's not just a mother. She's also a referee for FIFA.

Tori Penso is going to come through and join us. Of course, we're going to take a look at all the basketball going on in the world. Last night, Draymond Green was angry.

What else is new? But he wanted to make it very clear. He's just not an angry black man. Pat Riley spoke to the media today and a season press conference. Pat Riley wasn't angry. Not happy with the heat, but he was also cool because it's Pat Riley.

Omar Khan, GM of the Pittsburgh Steelers, talked about moving on from Pickens. We got some basketball late tonight. I told you we got the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Nuggets going at it again in about an hour's time, about 90 minutes. We're going to have Cleveland and the Pacers. Yeah, they'll get going in about 90 minutes.

Pacers have an opportunity to go up in the series three to nothing. We've got a lot to get into. Nick Chubb looks like he's done in Cleveland. Bill Belichick. Now you know it's a distraction. It always has been a distraction. Bill Belichick's girlfriend is just him and his relationships in the news all the damn time. I hope it changes by the time football season starts.

North Carolina. But it is just overkill right now. North Carolina has to put out statements about his girlfriend like doing too much. There's just too much going on. Hey, you want to be a part of the show? You can do that on this Friday, Friday afternoon, Friday evening. I don't know where you live, but it's still Friday, probably. Hey, listen, you can call up 888-710-4ISN.

That's 888-710-4ISN. You can find me online. I exist on the Internet. I am at JR Sport Brief.

Most places where human beings exist, OK? If you're a human on social media, JR Sport Brief on Instagram and Facebook and X slash Twitter and TikTok and all of the places. I'm a happy individual, a joyous individual. Let's ask our producer how the hell he's doing. Nick, how are you this Friday afternoon? I'm doing great.

I'm a happy individual just as well. Everything's going well. It's a little rainy out, but you know, we're not going to let the weather get us down. We're still going to have a great day, you know, a great show. And like you said, a lot going on. Absolutely.

Absolutely. Rain is good. Helps the flowers and plants and trees and everything grow. Rain. Rain is good unless in a lot of cases, we know shout outs to everybody in the Pacific Northwest and maybe you're used to it.

Rain can be a little bit of a downer. The sun comes out. People are happy.

Sun goes away. People are sad. People get miserable.

People get angry. People reach and they want that vitamin D coming from the sun. And I don't know, maybe Draymond Green, maybe he needs some sunshine. Maybe Draymond Green needs a walk through the park. Maybe Draymond Green needs to stop and smell the roses. Maybe Draymond Green needs to smell a couple of daisies because Draymond Green is angry. Just don't confuse Draymond Green with being an angry black man. You know, it's from Draymond Green's own mouth and I'm not calling him an angry black man.

Why would I? I just think he's angry. I think he has, you know, issues controlling his emotions on the basketball court. And I can certainly understand it.

I'll explain a little bit more. We'll hear it from Draymond momentarily. Last night, the Warriors lose again to the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-93. We know there is no Steph Curry.

We got a little bit more of an update. Forget about Steph Curry coming back in a week minimum. We may not see Steph Curry now they say until game six at the earliest.

Okay. The Golden State Warriors are cooked and Jimmy Butler has 17 points. Draymond had a whopping nine points and Jonathan Camingo off the bench.

He said he is 18. I mean, Anthony Edwards sprained his ankle, had to step off, leave the court, go to the back, came back out and he was still fine finishing the game with 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists. So ultimately with no Steph Curry, we noticed the Warriors look cooked. And early in the game, Draymond Green fouled Nas Reed. I mean, Draymond Green has been known to kind of swing and pop dudes in the head when trying to emphasize that he has been fouled, which he was by Nas Reed.

But then he took it a step further and trying to make it obvious he struck the dude in the head. And then Draymond got attacked and then Draymond was upset. Any other player, Draymond, he avoided another technical foul. He could have got thrown out. Maybe all things considered, he should have got thrown out, but he sat on the bench and calmed down. Normal Draymond Green.

And so Draymond Green was kind of during the game on his stationary bike, keeping warm. And there were two fans chanting garbage at him. One fan was ejected for violating the NBA's fan code of conduct.

You know what that means? They were shouting trash at him. And another fan is being investigated for throwing racial slurs at Draymond Green.

Like what type of world do we need to do this? Like you got to be a racist piece of trash at a basketball game. Like what? Stay ass at home. Racists are everywhere, but you got to do this at a basketball game and spread the hate.

Keep it in your own four walls. Okay. Draymond Green after the game was approached and not only did he hit Nas Reed in the head, not only did he pick up a technical foul, not only is he now two technical, well, it's two texts away from being suspended Draymond Green right after the game, he was upset. And without even really being, you know, asked a question, he's felt that he is being portrayed in a certain way as an angry black guy. Listen to this. I'm not an angry black man. I'm a very successful, educated black man with a great family. And I'm great at basketball.

I'm great at what I do to keep the agenda to try to keep making me look like an angry black man. It's crazy. I'm sick of it. It's ridiculous.

Oh man. I don't know. Maybe he's in his own world. Maybe Draymond Green makes so much money. Maybe he talks to himself and I guess he has a partner now in his podcast.

Who the hell is his partner? Old headband wearing golden state warriors point guard. Al Baron Davis.

Yeah. Maybe he's talking to Baron Davis too damn much. Good for Draymond Green has somebody to talk to. He's in his own world. I'm sure.

I'm sure. I'm certain those fans yelling at Draymond Green had something to do with his comments after the game because they were unprompted. Nobody went up to Draymond Green in the locker room and said, Hey man, you think you're being fairly treated? Nobody went up to Draymond and said, Hey, are you, are you angry? We know you're black, but are you also angry? Nobody asked Draymond Green that question.

He kind of said this unprompted, which would lead me to believe that he was bothered by those racial slurs that were thrown his way during the course of the game, which is unfortunate. I mean, I don't got to tell you, maybe you know this, but you probably know this is a nasty world. People get judged by how they look and what they look like and where they come from. It's, it's human nature to a certain degree to be judgmental. We're not perfect, but to just be a whole racist is absolutely disgusting. That's besides basketball.

Maybe get out a little bit, expand your parameters, your perimeter, get outside of your comfort zone, talk to someone who doesn't look like you learn something different. We are so much more alike than we are different. And our differences also make us beautiful.

We should share them and embrace them. Yeah, that's some Gerald wisdom for you. Now, having said that, Draymond Green must be in his own world. I wonder if you asked him today and the answer is probably not.

He probably didn't change his mind. If you take some time to think about this, Draymond Green has done this to himself. No, not, not set himself up to be an angry black man. But when it comes to his, his persona, when it comes to how he's perceived and what people think about him, that doesn't have anything to do with race.

I mean, he is black and he certainly does look angry plenty of times. Okay. Cause the last time I looked, it was Draymond Green who hit Yusef Nurkic in the face.

Okay. He did get suspended. It was Draymond Green who put Rudy Gobert in a chokehold and dragged him a couple of steps on the basketball court. He put him in a sleeper, Ted Dibiase, million dollar man. Draymond Green did that to Rudy Gobert. It was Draymond Green who saw, uh, I want to call him Arvidus his son so bad. I'm a jerk. It was Damantis Sabonis on a basketball court who Draymond Green decided to just step on his guy's chest.

Come on, what are we doing now? By the way, it was Draymond Green who decided to punch Jordan bull in the face. His teammate that, that, that did happen. It was Draymond Green who was suspended by the warriors for talking crap to his other teammate, uh, Kevin Durant. There was that time I'm going to listen to me. There was that time where Draymond Green was suspended in the NBA finals because he saw me and it sounds weird. Let me not say it that way. Uh, he punched LeBron in the groin.

Okay. I was going to say he saw LeBron's groin and he hit it, but that doesn't come out the right way. Anyway, he hit LeBron.

You can't do that. Draymond Green has a reputation. He built it. He did it to go as far to say he's being painted as an angry black man. You just look like an out of control basketball player. Steph Curry had to walk over there yesterday and try to calm him down after the technical foul called on him against Nas Reed. If Steve Kerr tried to calm him down, his own teammates had to calm him down. Jimmy Butler after the game is just like, I'm not saying nothing to him. He knows he's a grown man. He knows what's going on.

It's crazy. And Steve Kerr, he spoke to the media and he said Draymond, when it comes to his feelings, needs to watch it. I could see, um, you know, he had, um, gotten pretty upset and I just didn't want him to, to, uh, you know, get another technical.

So I took him out at that point. And, um, I know he's going to have to be careful now. He's, uh, I see two texts away, five texts and two flagrances seven, four texts. He'll be suspended or two more flagrances, right? So he's, uh, he's going to have to stay composed. Obviously we need him.

Um, and, um, I'm confident that he will because he knows, you know, he knows the circumstances. Oh boy. Okay. Yeah.

Whatever. It's not like Draymond Green is Isaiah Stewart. It's not like Draymond Green is green in the NBA. It's not like he just got here.

It's not like he's just trying to figure things out. Draymond Green has four championships. Draymond Green just turned 35 years old. This man is not a child. I know he has, I know he has a child. I think he may have children. I think he might be married, but when it comes to the basketball court, he ain't no grown man.

He acts like a gigantic child. And so just do everybody a favor Draymond. If you don't want people looking at you as angry, people are always going to look at you and say, well, we know he's black.

We know that. But there's no, there's no portrait being painted of you outside of the one that you helped create. They said you are the one who created the narrative.

You're the one who sat down and made the painting and you did it with your behavior. You can't go around stepping on chests, hitting people in the groin, smacking people back, handing them in the face. You can't punch your teammates. You can't insult your teammates.

What am I missing? You can't put people in a headlock. You can't do all of that and then have an issue with being painted as, as angry because in each one of those instances, the last time I checked, that that's, that's anger. Oh, by the way, this was Draymond Green who about a year ago, he did have to sit down and learn how to control his emotions. Do you remember that? This is Draymond Green who last year the NBA said, man, you got to go to counseling.

You got to learn how to figure this out. It was that, that same Draymond Green. And now Draymond doesn't want to be known as the angry black guy. Well, stop hitting people.

It's really that damn simple. It's the JR sport brief show here with you coast to coast on the infinity sports network. We are just getting started.

We are just getting warmed up. You know what? We talked about somebody angry. This there's another guy, angry sports, man.

His name is George Pickens. Let's see how angry he is playing for the Dallas Cowboys. The man who traded him away, Omar Khan, the GM of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spoke today and speaking of GMs, forget being a GM. This guy is the boss. Pat Raleigh spoke today about the, the status of the Miami heat.

Yeah. Jimmy Butler took his behind the golden state and uh, what's next for the heat besides sucking who knows? Bill Belichick in the news again with his girlfriend.

Is she allowed at UNC's facility is, does she have to stay outside and sit in the car with the windows down? We have no idea. We've got the Pacers and Cavs in action and a little more than an hour. We got the Oklahoma city thunder in action alongside the nuggets. So we got Nick Chubb looks like he's done in Cleveland. We got the Nixon Celtics tomorrow. Oh my God. No people absolutely thrilled to see what those New York Knicks can do.

If they go up three oh people in New York will be losing their minds. Rafael Devers, he's a DH. He says that's the position, the DH. I just swing the bat and sit my behind down. No defense for me.

He's not doing otherwise. Hey, we'll have a chat with Tori pencil, FIFA referee, mother and honors of mother's day in honor of mother's day. We'll have that conversation with Tori later on in the show. And of course we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. Happy Friday. We're just getting started. You want to call me?

You can 888-710-4ISN that's 888-710-4ISN. Uh, I'm not angry. I'm happy. When we come back, we'll hear from, uh, Omar Khan about moving pickins to Dallas, the JR sport reef show infinity sports network.

It is the JR sport reef show on the infinity sports network. Hey, we just talked about Draymond Green in action last night. You know what? I'd be angry too if there were no Steph Curry, but he didn't want to be known as being angry. Well, Draymond doesn't want to be known as being angry and angry black man.

He doesn't. We can't be known as an angry white man because he's not. Stop punching people, hitting people, stomping people. Just chill out. Give people hugs.

Have a different reputation that way. Speaking of Steph Curry, I want to reiterate this. A couple of days ago or yesterday, we found out that he was going to be out at minimum a week. That's now been pushed back to game six. We won't see him until game six. If, if the golden state warriors could even get there as of right now, they've already played two. The series is tied up. Let's see if the golden state warriors can steal one at home and kind of push Steph Curry towards a, another game.

That's not even a guarantee. I want you to take a listen to what Steve Kerr, what he had to say about playing basketball without Steph Curry. We have to figure out what we're going to be able to do in this series without Steph.

And so we gave a lot of people a lot of chances and then, you know, some guys really stepped up. Trace and JK, we're, we're both really good in this game now. Well, it doesn't matter. They ain't Steph Curry. So y'all suck. It's unfortunate.

It's sad. Miss Steph Curry. Anyway, speaking of being missed is to kind of switch gears just a little bit. Uh, it appears that George Pickens won't be missed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Remember a couple of days ago in the morning, we found out that he's being moved to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2026 third round pick 2027 fifth round pick. And basically the Pittsburgh Steelers, they got a third round of back from when they acquired DK Metcalf from Seattle. And so it appeared that the Pittsburgh Steelers were going to have two top tier wide receivers to work with, uh, George Pickens and then also DK Metcalf. But apparently and not surprising, they, they didn't want George Pickens anymore. I remember George Pickens playing here at the University of Georgia for the Bulldogs. This guy would be fighting in the hedges, fighting defensive backs, getting in trouble.

It's like compose yourself. The guy goes to the NFL, he's fighting guys and elite in the league. He's, he's showing up late for work. He's getting penalties. He's driving Mike Tomlin's blood pressure through the roof.

Mike Tomlin said publicly he needs to grow up. And then Omar Khan, the GM of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he spoke today about moving George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys and listen to this man explain why, amongst other things, The trade sort of happened quickly. Um, you know, we had, we had some people inquired during the draft, uh, nothing that really made sense. And, uh, the Cowboys reached out.

I don't really remember what day it was, but earlier this week and, um, you know, they gave us, uh, they proposed something that for us to think about. And, you know, we had our conversations internally. Um, you know, I also had some conversations with, uh, Georgia's agent, Dave, who I have a good relationship with. And, you know, we, we, we discussed, um, where things, I guess, have been with George, uh, where they are and, you know, where things could go with George. And, um, uh, you know, this, this trade made sense for everyone.

No. Oh yeah. It made sense for them because they didn't want him anymore because he was a pain in the backside and now he's the pain for the Dallas Cowboys. And you know what? I criticized Jerry Jones a lot and why not? Jerry Jones pretty much exists to be criticized, but he did say the Dallas Cowboys before the draft, he said that we were going to have some substantial trade. We're going to make a substantial trade. And then the draft came and there was no trade. And now we're about what, two weeks removed from the NFL draft and they got George Pickens. They have a top tier wide receiver to play opposite a CD lamb. The unfortunate part is that this still is the Dallas Cowboys and there's a good chance that there'll be a good enough to be good, but not good enough to win anything.

At least for them. George Pickens is currently in a contract year. He wants a big old check. He wants a big old deal at the end of the season. And so he's going to be on his best behavior all of a sudden.

And this is what happens when, when people have backs up against the wall, right? It's like you got to start showing up and showing out. You put on notice, huh? You show up to work on time. You spend a little time extra at work.

I know, Hey, how about in your own household? You're on thin ice. You're trying to keep things status quo. Maybe I don't want to say take out the trash more often.

Maybe you find an extra choice to do around the house. Things that need to get fixed. Putting a little extra out there.

You just, you're trying to do everything you can to stay in good graces. George Pickens is going to behave. And the next thing you know, George Pickens is going to be a complete pain in the ass down in Dallas.

Or maybe not. Maybe playing next to CD lamb will humble him because George Pickens won't be wide receiver one. Or maybe he'll be in Dallas and still be a complete, you know what par for the course with some wide receivers, right? Well, we got Tyreek Hill sitting around on the internet and the same man who a couple of seasons ago said, Oh yeah, yeah.

Two is the best and most accurate quarterback in the game. He's sitting around on Instagram where something live he's on the internet, don't matter where. And he's naming his top five quarterbacks and two is not even on the list. Like, come on, why bother? Like are you aware that what you say can cause controversy? I'm sure he can't be that stupid.

He can't be that oblivious to what's going on in the world. And by the way, it's who is not a top five QB. Not that anybody thought that outside of Tyreek Hill when he was trying to sell the guy when he first got there.

But ultimately Tyreek Hill is a pain in the ass for doing things like that. What's going to happen next? Will he be detained on his way to a football game again to open up the season? I have no idea. Is he going to have the police call to his house again for a domestic issue?

I have no idea. I certainly hope not. Now George Pickens hasn't reached Tyreek Hill levels of being an absolute jerk. And I hope he never gets there. But these wide receivers in the NFL, some of them just lose their minds. George Pickens will be walking the straight and narrow this year.

At least that's something that nobody has to worry about. And good luck to them. Dallas Cowboys going nowhere. Hey, good luck to to the Pittsburgh Steelers. I just saw they had the Pittsburgh Marathon, by the way. Shout outs to everybody in Pittsburgh, anybody who ran it. The Steelers are another team. They're going nowhere. Pittsburgh Steelers will go right to the playoffs and they'll get bounced in the first round.

The most stealer-ish thing possible. And Mike Tomlin, he won't go anywhere. And maybe and likely they'll do all of this with Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback. Prepare yourself for weekly Aaron Rodgers soundbites. Or maybe the Steelers tell him he can't do it.

And at that point, maybe he quit. I don't know. This Aaron Rodgers guy is a special case. It's the JR Sportbreeze show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. Let's let's go ahead and recap this. Draymond Green angry and says he's not angry.

George Pickens. This guy seems very, very, very angry. We're going to take a break. And when we come back on the other side, I'm going to tell you about I'm going to tell you about two individuals in the world of sports who apparently are not angry. Pat Riley spoke today.

End of season news conference for the Miami Heat. With everything that went down with Jimmy Butler, you would think that Pat Riley would have steam coming out of his ears. But no, it's Pat Riley. He's cool. And then the other guy. Well, he just got a new job yesterday.

He might be cooler than cool with little robes and outfits. I don't know. I'll tell you who it is on the other side of the break. It's the JR Sportbreeze show on the Infinity Sports Network. It is the JR Sportbreeze show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network.

The same callers? Where? Here? On a Friday? Not really.

Especially not on a Friday. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. Before we went to break, we talked about George Pickens being moved from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Dallas Cowboys. The general manager of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Omar Khan, he spoke today. He's like, yeah, yeah, Dallas Cowboys hit us up a couple of weeks ago. Things happen real fast and yeah, we got his ass out of here.

He didn't say that exactly, but kind of sorta. And then earlier in the show, we talked about Draymond Green, who, by the way, wanted to tell everybody, hey, I'm being painted as an angry black man. I hope it stops. It needs to stop. And it's just like, well, damn Draymond.

Like, have you seen like some of the things that you've done? Some of the people that you've punched and kicked and stepped on and slapped and Draymond Green is certainly in the basketball court. This man comes across as very, very angry. Well, we didn't just hear from Draymond Green yesterday. We didn't just hear from Omar Khan, the general manager of the Pittsburgh Steelers today in what has become an annual tradition in the basketball world and overall in the world of sports. We heard from Pat Riley. Today was the Miami Heat's end of season press conference where Pat Riley speaks. You might recall last year, Pat Riley said something that pretty much changed the franchise or ruffled feathers. It ticked off Jimmy Butler, who once again was unavailable to participate in the postseason.

Wasn't happy. And Pat Riley basically told Jimmy Butler, who publicly a couple of days, weeks before, pretty much said, if I were healthy, we'd be out here being everybody. Pat Riley didn't appreciate that. He's like, man, you ain't playing a regular season. You didn't play in the postseason.

So shut up. We saw what happened with Jimmy Butler. He said he lost his joy for playing basketball in Miami. Yeah, he lost his joy after they didn't decide to give him a contract extension because he wasn't healthy. And so Pat Riley spoke today and of course he had to address some of these issues with Jimmy Butler, who looks like he's about to be eliminated because Steph Curry ain't playing. But Pat Riley got right to it. He talked about Jimmy Butler.

He was asked about Jimmy Butler and he says, uh, the contract, Jimmy Butler wanting an extension. Am I sorry? Do I regret that? The answer is hell no. There's no doubt that what happened with, with Jimmy had, uh, a tremendous, uh, impact on our team. There's no doubt about it. So, uh, the buck stops with me.

I'll take that hit if you want it. Uh, what happened during the regular season? I don't want to really discuss. Oh, okay.

All right. Well, he did kind of discuss. He didn't get into details of what happened. He continued on and talked about Jimmy Butler moving on. Listen to this.

No, it wasn't the same. You got hurt against Philadelphia. We didn't have, uh, in when we got, uh, four out of five against Boston, but, and then there was, uh, this year. So no, I'm not going to apologize for saying no on the contract extension when we didn't have to.

And I don't think I should. And, uh, and I will always say that to the players, uh, if I was coaching, no, keep your mouth shut. I'll see you next training camp and you get it back on the court. But it's different today with players. Yeah. Pat Riley said these guys out here trolling. They were on social media. Well, there was no social media back when Pat Riley played, when he coached and it was no social media.

Uh, things are different now. Pat Riley's just like, listen, man, if you can't play, shut up. I agree with Pat Riley. Jimmy Butler did what he had to do. And he went to the golden state warriors.

They decided to pay him. Okay. Done. It's finished. His season is about to be over too. And no Steph Curry.

Meanwhile, Pat Riley, he did continue on Pat Riley basically said, uh, no, we are not running back the same team next year because what the hell would this team do? Bam out of bio is good as like a, I can't even call him the second best player on a championship team. Maybe, maybe the third best Tyler hero has certainly improved his efficiency as a scorer in the NBA.

I'm not calling him the best player on a championship team. Hell no. Otherwise they'd be good. Like something's going to have to happen. They're going to have to swing for the fences. I don't know if that means the Miami heat go after Kevin Durant. I don't know if Damian Lillard finally makes his way down to Miami, but something has to happen. Something has to change because the Miami heat, they, they might have, they, they got a bunch of good players, a bunch of solid role players, but they don't have a legitimate star.

And I understand Tyler hero was just an all star and bam out of bio is an Olympian and an all star. They, they ain't no killers. You're not giving them the ball at the end of the game and just saying, Hey, we're going to ride the wave. You're going to take us to a victory and it's Miami.

It shouldn't be difficult to get a star down there. And Pat Riley sounds pretty, pretty confident about it. Sounds pretty cool about it. Sounds pretty, he sounds pretty okay, but the circumstances of what exactly are going on. Pat Ryan, I know a couple of days ago, I gave you a top six list of, of clutch athletes in the world of sports.

We had Joe Montano on that list. Of course, mr Joe cool Pat Raleigh is cool as ever. By the way, the guy's 80 years old. He says 80 is the new 60. He is not rushing anything. He's not trying to fix the Miami heat because he feels old and one day he's going to fall over and go.

And he says he feels good and he looks good. Jerry Jones is what only three years older than Pat Riley. And well, yeah, I'm, I got nothing nice to say, so I'm, I'm not going to say anything at all. 8 8 8 7 10 for ISN.

That's 8 8 8 7 10 for ISN. I like Pat Riley. He's like, oh, man, I'm not dealing with this new school garbage.

You lose, suck it up, shut up and come back and prove it next year. Pat Riley isn't an old G as he would be called them a lot of place. Speaking of an old G or somebody just old. Hey Nick, you saw, you saw they got a new Pope. There's a new Pope. You saw that, right? Yeah, I heard. I'm sure you heard.

I'm sure you did that with the smoke and all of that stuff. And what's he is his name? Is it Pope Leo?

Am I mixing it up or no? It's Pope Leo the 14th. Oh, he's not. He's not even old. He's kind of young. He's going to be, I think he's, he might be in the sixties. Yeah, that's young for Pope.

Yeah. He is 69 years old. He's going to be around a while. How who passed away? Pope Benedict. That's his name, right? No, that was a Pope Benedict.

I think it was before that. The last one was Pope Francis. Oh boy. Here I go. Oh my God.

Pope Francis was Pope for what? Like 10 years? Yeah. Something like that around there. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. This Pope is going to be around a long time. He's the first American Pope and he happens to be from Chicago.

And so, uh, yeah, he's not necessarily Pat Riley got some catching up to do about a decade's worth. Uh, but I, I can't believe this. I heard the news and I heard about the smoke and all of that. This was yes. Was it yesterday or Wednesday? Uh, I want to say it was yesterday.

I'm pretty sure it's yesterday. Yeah. They saw the smoke and a new Pope. He comes out and everybody finds out he's from Chicago.

I'm like, Oh, okay. First American Pope from Chicago. And in hilarious fashion, the Chicago Cubs claim him and then the White Sox claim him. He's our fan. He's our fan. He's a, he's this, he belongs to us. He's this, he's that he belongs to us.

And everybody's just like, what's the real deal? His brother of all people, I guess his brother's a big deal now in Chicago too. His brother was on ABC, uh, Chicago and said that this new Pope, Pope Leo, he's from the South side. He's a white sock. He's a Cubs fan. That's not true. He's not a Cubs fan.

What is he? He's a Sox fan. They also said on the air that he was from South Holland.

That's not true. It's Dalton. He's from Dalton and he's a Sox fan, which makes more sense really when you think about it, give me where he was.

The reason I don't know where that came from, but our mother was North cider and all that side of the family is a Cubs fan. So maybe they heard that from someone else. They may have interviewed, but he was definitely sacked. See in there again, standing on his own two feet. Okay. He didn't go along with the family.

Cause our dad was, uh, carnals. Wow. Now I can sleep. I can sleep well at night instead of being with the lovable losers, he found another set of losers on the South side. Now that's a lot of worse losers. Really?

White Sox are even worse. Yeah. That's this is where I was going, Nick. Yeah. Okay. Gotcha. Yeah.

I'm familiar. Yeah. Yeah. They're more than, than bad. Yeah. Historically a bad.

Yeah. So the Pope is, uh, he's going to be a little preoccupied with what's going on on the, uh, I think on the other side of the ocean and less with the White Sox and even outside of what's going on with the, the White Sox. People have found even more connections to this Pope being that he is American. He went to Villanova. And so of course there was so many connections yesterday to the New York Knicks who happened to be on what appears to be a miraculous run right now. They were up two Oh against the Boston Celtics. You got three dudes from Villanova on the team and Josh Hart, McHale bridges and Jalen Brunson and Odontae Divacenzo still wishes that he was still around and in town. And then they're like, Hey, he went to Villanova. This is even more of a reason that the New York Knicks will ultimately upset the Boston Celtics. And this even got back to the New York Knicks themselves. Never in my life did I think we'd hear Tom Thibodeau be asked about the Pope and Tibbs. He was asked about whether or not the Knicks get a little bit of a blessing.

And let's just say Tibbs was just matter of fact about it. What else is new? Any thoughts about the Pope being Villanova guy? Yeah, now they could be forgiven for their sins. Oh, look at that. That is that Tom Thibodeau has a sense of humor. He actually made a joke. Now the Villanova guys can be forgiven of their sins. Okay, good.

Wow. Tom Thibodeau with a sense of humor. Let's see how happy or miserable he looks come tomorrow when the New York Knicks are in action against the Boston Celtics trying to go out there and go up three. Oh, I mean, a whole city in New York might need a blessing.

There's gonna be a lot of sinning if the New York Knicks go up 3-0 tomorrow. Madison Square Garden outside will be jumping. Forget inside. Inside is sanitized unless the owner is tossing Charles Oakley from the building. Outside is where the well, I want to say crime crime all over New York City. Outside is where things get kind of nuts. Fans have speakers, they're throwing parties, they're filming social media videos, they're going viral, they're yelling, they're cursing, they're screaming and drinking.

Yeah, they're nuts. The New York Knicks go 3-0 tomorrow. The world is going to hell. Hey, Nick, you ready for the Knicks game tomorrow? You gonna be out there? I'll be out there. Just not at the game, but yeah, I'll definitely be outside. Okay. Wait, you gonna be in that watch zone party area?

Is that what that is? No, no, I'll probably just watch the game at a bar with a few of my friends. Okay. If they go 3-0, watch out.

New York is gonna be crazy on another level. Are you gonna go, are you painting the town red too, or are you just gonna be civilized inside the bar? I'll be as civilized as I can, but there's a chance I might not be able to contain my emotions. Okay. We'll see you on one of those videos tomorrow. Okay. I might be the new bing bong guy. Okay.

Take over social media. Nick D'Adduro, Master Nick fan. He's gonna be a new meme if the New York Knicks go up. We'll talk about the New York Knicks and their legitimate chances against the Celtics later on in the show.

It's the JR Sportbreeze show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. We heard from Pat Riley. We heard from Omar Khan, GM of the Steelers. We heard from an angry Draymond Green. Is there anybody angrier than Bill Belichick? Bill Belichick is in the news again today. I know he is sick of this, but it's good for him to promote his book, right? Oh yeah, by the way, it involves his girlfriend again. What else is new? I don't know. Tom Brady says, I wish I had his problems. It's the JR Sportbreeze show number one.
