It's the JR Sportbreeze Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. This summer is going to be a massive summer, especially here in the United States. From mid-June to mid-July, FIFA is doing something very spectacular. Eleven cities all over the United States of America. Thirty-two teams, some of the best teams in the world, will be competing right here. It is the FIFA Club World Cup. And right now I'm being joined by someone who is the authority on such a thing.

He's been the president of FIFA since 2016, Gianni Infantino. Pleasure to meet you. Pleasure to meet you. Thanks for having me.

Absolutely. You know, we do things big here with the JR Sportbreeze Show. Talking to people all over the country, the FIFA Club World Cup is going to be big. Thirty-two teams, why this time? Well, the FIFA Club World Cup is going to be very big. It is a World Cup. It is the thirty-two best club teams in the world. It is the best players in the world.

We have the three best players of this year, three best players of last year, but many, many more. And they come to the U.S. in eleven cities from the 14th of June opening game in Miami to the 13th of July final in New York, New Jersey, to determine, well, which of these teams is actually the best. In the world, officially.

And this did not exist. This is the very first edition, very first time we play a World Cup for the teams. So far, we have just the World Cup for the countries.

But we want to know as well which team is the best in the world. Now, we know here in the United States of America, the beautiful game has grown by leaps and bounds and it continues to grow. For people who are still becoming familiar, Phil Asen, each one of these games, even here in Atlanta, we have six matchups. These will almost be like individual Super Bowls, bigger.

One hundred percent for the club World Cup, as it is called this year. And you have here the beautiful official bowl of it. Yes. So it's yours. But don't forget to take it for the matches. Otherwise, we cannot play without a bowl. Can I get on the pitch?

Of course you can get on the pitch. All right. All right.

All right. OK, so we have 63 games. These are 63 Super Bowls in one month. These club teams, they have hundreds of millions, some of them a billion plus fans all over the world. They have the best players. They are multinationals.

And they come here to the United States to determine which one is the best. So not only it will be very, very competitive or serious games, but the amount of passion and emotion in the different cities. In Atlanta, we'll have six games in the different cities, but also in their home countries and their home cities of these teams. It will be just incredible.

Absolutely. We have games and matches that are going to take place everywhere from Pasadena here in Atlanta, D.C. You talked about the finale up in New York City. Yeah, it is going to be absolutely amazing. People have become more familiar here. Watching Messi in Miami will have other stars.

Erling Haaland will be over as well. But it's not just about the football. FIFA is actually doing great things in every community, every host city.

Filassen. Yeah, obviously. I mean, the one thing is, as you said, we organized the best events. We organized the World Cups. This club will cover the best players, the best teams.

But we are also aware of our social role, social responsibility that we have. And for this reason, we contribute to each of the 11 host cities with one million US dollars each to build maybe some mini pitches in areas where they are most needed and to create some activities for children that, you know, help these children, give them a smile, give them a moment of joy and happiness. So this is part of our thank you to all these great American cities for hosting the very first FIFA Club World Cup. The very first FIFA Club World Cup.

It's the JR Sport re-show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. President Gianni Infantino is here with us. When you talk about the economic impact, not this you'll just have in the communities, but also overall with the Club World Cup this year, the World Cup next year, it's going to be massive. We're talking billions and billions. We're talking billions and billions.

I mean, just think about it. This year, we have three and a half million tickets for sale next year, six and a half million tickets. So massive amount of people coming, millions of fans coming from all over the world to the United States of America. Billions of fans watching it. I mean, the Club World Cup itself will have at least three billion viewers all over the world.

But the economic impact of these two competitions will be in the range of 50 billion US dollars for the United States only. We create 300,000 jobs, full time jobs for people in the United States who work around these competitions, these two World Cups. So it is massive.

It is big. It helps the community. It helps the economy here in the United States. And it will help soccer or football, as we call it, outside of America.

It will help soccer to not just grow, but to really boom. President, we talked about the 11 cities where this is going to take place. Where can people find out more information so they can get in these cities, get in these stadiums where we're going to have these matches? Well, don't miss it. Don't miss it. Go on FIFA dot com slash tickets. There are still some tickets available. We are making history here.

It is the first ever FIFA Club World Cup. The first ever in 100 years when we will be speaking again. One hundred years.

Both of us. Technology is nice, but we'll see. No, no, we will. We will celebrate the centenary of this FIFA Club World Cup. And we will remember 100 years ago we were here talking about this. We make history.

Don't miss. This is big. This is huge. And here in Atlanta specifically, what has impressed you about things here? Well, Atlanta has really become a soccer city in the U.S., a beautiful stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which is the team in the U.S., Atlanta United, that has the highest crowds, almost 50,000 per match on average. Stadium breathes soccer. Football is played there as well.

It's a real sports stadium, but this is a real sports city. So I'm sure fans from all over the world who will be coming here to follow their team with passion, they will invade Atlanta, but it will be, you know, a happy invasion, a joyful invasion. And this summer, June and July, people in Atlanta will celebrate with people from all over the world, because Atlanta unites the world. Atlanta certainly unites the world. President Infantino, I want to thank you for taking time to join us.
