I get started every single week night, 10 p.m. Eastern Time, 7 p.m. Pacific. What a night it's been already. What a weekend that it's been.

Here's an update for you. Right now, the Los Angeles Lakers are beating Memphis 42 to 30. Another ass whooping getting handed out right now for that Dylan Brooks guy. And we'll get into that game.

Oh, my God. That was a great that was a great embarrassment on Saturday night. Outside of watching Gervonta Tank Davis just kind of hit Ryan Garcia in the liver and send his body into a shock. It was pretty cool to see Dylan Brooks get embarrassed for all of that crap he was talking. Nothing better than watching a bully, a fake bully, a fake tough guy, want to be bully.

Get his lunch money taken from him. Thank you, LeBron. And so we'll keep you up to date with the Los Angeles Lakers as they lead Memphis right now.

Forty four to 30. About an hour ago, we saw the conclusion of what was an amazing game, a bounce back game. The Miami Heat. They beat the Bucks. Giannis Atteracumpo came back tonight, had 26 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds. He had a triple double.

They led the whole game. The Bucks were getting ready to tie the sucker up at two all. And then Jimmy Butler said, nah.

N-A-H, nah. Jimmy Butler finished with 56 points. That's tied for fourth most points ever scored in the NBA playoffs.

Fifty six. Jimmy Butler checked back into the game. With about 11 minutes left in the game and Jimmy Butler decided to just turn things around. The Miami Heat were losing. It was 98-87 when Jimmy checked in and he outscored the Bucks by himself.

Twenty two to 16. He was hot like fire. I want you to listen to the final call, courtesy of TNT. Five point game. Atteracumpo lost the ball.

It's loose. Miami's going to win it. Miami has won it. And goes up three games to one.

And the number one seed is on the brink of elimination. And Jimmy Butler, a historic 56 point performance in this game four. A 21 point fourth quarter for Butler. A career high in any game of 56 for Butler. And Miami wins it by five. Again, his start allowed the Heat to stay in the game, right? We were wondering who was going to come along for the ride. He didn't need anyone.

He was riding solo. Jimmy Butler with the game of his life, Ali. Well, you heard Reggie Miller. He knows a lot about games of their lives. He's had plenty of them in his own career. And Jimmy Butler, he spoke to TNT afterwards. Ali La Force was asking the questions.

And Jimmy Butler, he had the answers. How do you make it look so easy, my friend? It's not easy. They got some hellified defenders that are making me work for every basket.

But I got them hellified teammates that tell me to keep going, keep being aggressive, keep attacking. It feels good to be the Miami Heat right now. You took your first lead of the game right around three minutes.

You had the back to back threes that put you up three. That was a huge moment for this team. What did it feel like to hear the crowd chanting MVP and just to be there for your teammates? I don't know about MVP.

I think that's Joel, if I'm being brutally honest. But for my team to get this dub in this way, in this atmosphere, for this city, it's huge. You have the Milwaukee Bucks on the brink of elimination going to their home court. What do you relish about that opportunity? To play basketball in Milwaukee in front of their crowd and to be together on the road. That's where championships are won and we got a shot. Congrats, Jimmy. I appreciate it.

Thank you. Can you imagine if the Miami Heat are able to hold off and beat the Bucks? Granted, the Miami Heat are in this position because there has been no Giannis. Giannis just returned because of his back. The Miami Heat don't have no Tolly Hero. Victor Oladipo can't run a straight line to the basket without tearing ligaments in his knee. Jimmy Butler is a one-man gang right now. 56 of their 119 points. Pat Riley should give him a raise tonight.

And so let's see what they do on the way back. Brook Lopez, he said, man, before the game and it didn't work out. But Brook Lopez was like, yeah, we need to raise our game in the postseason. And they ended up choking.

Listen to this joker. You just got to step in the challenge. You know, that's what's great about the playoffs. You know, it's high intensity. There's these big moments.

And great challenges, you know, and we just individually, you know, step in the challenge. Brook Lopez, they failed. Every time I hear Brook Lopez speak, I'm like, yep, he sounds like a giant because he is.

He sounds like just a gigantic human being. Somebody who spoke after the game. He cannot give Jimmy Butler a raise for his 56 points tonight. But he could certainly give him a day off from practice. Coach Eric Spolstra. He loved Jimmy Butler, not for his 56, but for his damn defense. That's a very good basketball team over there, as we all know. And in this game, Jimmy literally guarded every single person on the roster at some point. So yes, you can count to the 56 points or you can count to the two-way basketball. You know, where he's defending literally every single situation.

And that's what the greatest winners in this league do. I don't know what Jimmy Butler eats. I need to Google that. The hell does this guy eat before the games? What does he eat at halftime? Is he having a banana? Is he having a PB&J? What is this man eating to get all this energy?

I'll never forget Jimmy Butler in the bubble. There's that one image where he's kind of doubled over on the basket on the side. And he's gassed.

He's tired. Congratulations, Jimmy Butler. 56 points. Most points ever scored in a playoff game. Some guy named Michael Jordan dropped 61. Jimmy Butler tonight said he is 56 as Anthony Davis is laying on the floor.

That happened just once. No, he's on the floor again. Is he? Oh, he got up. Okay. He got up.

Anthony Davis, they need to just put a chalk outline. He's going to say he got hit. Yeah, he said he got hit in the jewels. Okay. Still. Oh, okay.

Poor guy. Okay. You really don't see yourself being a little just a tad hard on Anthony Davis tonight? No, it's not about tonight.

It's about period. But he's out there. No, no. He's out there quite a bit. And when he's out there, he's on the floor. You know how if Anthony Davis, let's say the Lakers win another title with Anthony Davis there. He's going to have to be. And he contributes. If they ever retire Anthony Davis' number, they shouldn't put a number up in the rafters.

What they should do is take like a chalk outline and they should draw a six foot eleven figure under the basket and just leave it there on the court. Because he's, nobody falls like him. I thought you were going to go the St. Claus route.

So thank you for not taking that bait. No. What number does he wear? I don't know what number. Whatever number he wears. Number three, I think Anthony Davis swears. They need to draw a chalk outline and just leave it on the court for every Lakers game in honor of Anthony Davis, who helped us win a championship, maybe two. Here.

Here's a number three. RIP to his body here, right under the basket. But J.R., with all that being said, he still is the main reason why they got to the NBA Finals in the bubble in the first place. Now LeBron was the best player in the Finals. There's no denying that. Even better than Jimmy Butler. But Anthony Davis in that Denver Nuggets series was the best player on the court.

And you know he went against Nickelodeon. You're not. You're making a point that everybody knows. That's besides the fact.

Fast forward to your lane. They're up 2-1 against the Suns against the groin injury. We know what happens. All I'm saying, I'm not talking about no damn basketball shot. We all know what he is when he plays. My point is, I walked in the studio and I sat my ass in the chair and I looked up at the screen and Anthony Davis was on the ground.

He's competing there. I came out of the damn break and I look up. Anthony Davis is on the ground. Saturday night, I'm watching the game.

I'm watching the Gervonta Davis fight. And I look up and Anthony Davis is on the ground. Right. He wasn't the best player in that game or anything. You're right.

I don't care about no best player. We know he's good. He's just always on the floor. Anthony Davis needs to take up a career in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He spends more time riding on the floor than, I don't know, some girl named Susie in the middle of nowhere on a pole like this guy is always on the floor. Damn.

There's a lot of professions you can do on the ground. Anthony Davis is... Anyway, Joseph is here from Baltimore. Joseph, you're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up? Going on, JR. How you feeling, bro?

Excellent. Man, I just think it's funny. I was just telling Shep, I feel like I got deja vu, man. Every five minutes, you're talking about Anthony Davis is on the floor again. The show's on repeat or something. Yeah, he needs a bubble. I wish I didn't have to say it, but it's like, again?

No, I get it, bro. It's crazy because you watch Star Wars, bro, he needs a back to tank. That's what he needs. A what? A back to tank.

What the hell is that? I know what the Millennium Falcon is. Isn't that what Han Solo had? That's what he had, right? That's old school, man. You gotta watch the new... You got Disney Plus? I watched the Mandalorian.

I don't know what no stinking back to tank... Is that the thing that the baby sat in? The robot? No, no, no. Oh, okay.

Hold on, I'm sorry. Not the Mandalorian. Check out... Did you watch Book of Boba Fett? Yeah, nobody liked that. That sucked. Yeah, it wasn't the best. That was Mandalorian light. Nobody liked that. Try again.

That little... That tank he went in to heal himself, it's called a back to tank. Oh, oh, like... No, listen, man. Talk to me.

I know Wolverine. Come on. There you go.

Okay. Yeah, Anthony Davis needs... He needs to sit and... He needs adamantium.

That's what he needs, right? No, that's what's killing Wolverine. No, adamantium is what keeps Wolverine... It helps him. No, bro, it's the... Antimatium's the metal that they put inside Wolverine, and that was what was slowly killing him over time.

But no, it's... It's got a natural healing ability. That's his mutation. I thought the adamantium is what makes him invincible.

Like, he'd be here for centuries. No, the adamantium, what it is, it's one of the strongest metals on Earth. It's actually...

Most people say it's stronger than vibranium. Uh-oh. Yeah, I'm a nerd, bro. Like, I know too much about this stuff.

Well, you call... It's adamantium. You don't know that.

It's adamantium, I think. Yes. No, you're right. Okay.

Well, whatever. Anthony Davis needs all of the things. He needs whatever... All of them. He needs whatever. Helps Superman, becomes Superman. He needs to go to Krypton. He needs Wolverine's healing powers. He needs to drink the... I don't know. He needs vibranium.

All of them. Yeah, he sucks. When he plays, he's good. And then I wanted to ask you, how you feeling about them Orioles, man? The Baltimore Orioles? Yeah, you already know.

Ah, man. Can we get through... Can you ask me in July and in August? I mean, people are looking at the Pirates too, and I'm like, can we go to July and August first? I'm gonna ask you every month. How's that? You can. I don't know if you remember, we talked after the opener, when they beat the Red Sox, and I told you I had that $5 bet for them to win the World Series. Oh my God. No, I didn't remember that. That's something that I would ignore very quickly.

Yeah, you said I wouldn't do that, but I said it's only $5. Yeah, we know the Red Sox suck. They're about to call up the entire farm system any day now. As they need to.

And it's early. But good luck to your O's, man, okay? Thanks, bro.

Alright, thank you Joseph for calling from Baltimore. He's a nerd. A bacta... I don't know what that is, man. I know what a shower is. I know a tub. A bacta tank? I thought he was talking about like a military tank. He's telling me about a tub of water that you land and it makes you feel better. I don't... Come on now. Anthony Davis just needs a new body. Unfortunately, you can't buy that on Amazon. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. We're going to take a break. When we come back, we're going to talk about a 39-year-old quarterback.

Does he need a new body? The New York Jets hope he doesn't. It's Aaron Rodgers, their newest quarterback. It's the JR Sport Brief Show, CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio.

First time caller and listener. I'm loving the show. Your show is just absolutely outstanding.

I got to tell you, I've been listening to you and I've been filling in a grin with your flow. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It's the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio. It's halftime in LA. The Los Angeles Lakers lead the Grizzlies 54 to 52. Of the game of the evening, we've talked about it.

Jimmy Butler had 56 points and a comeback to help the Miami Heat take a 3-1 series lead over the Bucs 119 to 114. The Milwaukee Bucs going down 3-1 in this series against the Miami Heat isn't the only news to come out of Wisconsin today. We all know it finally happened. It finally went down. You don't have to wait. You don't have to fret.

You don't have to worry. You don't have to wait until the NFL draft later on this week. Aaron Rodgers has been traded to the New York Jets.

You knew this already, though. Aaron Rodgers goes to the New York Jets in exchange exactly for what? The New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers, they swap picks. So the Packers now get the number 13 pick. The New York Jets go back two spots.

They have 15. Also, a second rounder. The Packers get a pick, the 207th pick. And then the Green Bay Packers will also get a first round pick in 2024 if Aaron Rodgers plays 65% of the snaps. If he takes 65% of the snaps, the Green Bay Packers get another first rounder next year.

If he doesn't, it's just a second round pick. And so I saw folks online saying that the New York Jets got robbed. I saw people online saying the New York Jets got fleeced.

Help me out here. How? Where? Where is the fleecing? Where is the robbery? The New York Jets wanted this man. The New York Jets went to the table and they pushed all of the chips into the middle. The New York Jets just, they put the mortgage down on the house, they put it up for collateral, and the New York Jets went all in.

There is no getting fleeced. It was Aaron Rodgers or bust. The New York Jets had to go all in.

There's no losing here. If they don't win with Aaron Rodgers, they're screwed. If they don't bring in Aaron Rodgers, they're screwed.

And so the New York Jets had to go with the sliver of hope, and that's with Aaron Rodgers. He's 39. Do I think he is washed up?

No. I believe he was hurt last year. I think he's going to come back. Is he going to be the same two-time MVP before last season?

I don't know. But he is still going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the game. He's one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the game. Over time, he's been one of the most talented quarterbacks to ever play the game. And he's still one of the top quarterbacks in the league unless his talent just all of a sudden fell off of a cliff. It's possible, but it's unlikely. And we can take a look at Aaron Rodgers and his playoff record and go, oh, it's all he wants Super Bowl. And, you know, people will make an argument on both sides.

Oh, he didn't have enough help. Oh, he's a crybaby. Aaron Rodgers, I'm taking this dude. If I'm the New York Jets and I haven't won a damn thing since 68-69, I'm going for it. And I'm not worried about my draft picks, OK? Am I going to put this team in the same category of the Los Angeles Rams?

No, I'm not prepared to do that. But if you think the New York Jets got robbed here, I have a simple response to you. We can go to Los Angeles. We can take a look at Les Knee, the general manager of the Rams. And yes, this is biting them in the ass right now, as they have now had to trade away assets like Jalen Ramsey. But screw them picks.

And he used more colorful language than I did, but screw them picks. It's the New York Jets. They're trying to win something. Who gives a damn about a first rounder next season? They basically swap first rounders this year.

That's not a robbery to me. That's bringing in Aaron Rodgers. And now the fun will begin. I sent this out on Twitter today.

I sent this out everywhere. Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, they deserve each other. They're either a match made in heaven or they're just a match made in hell.

What happens first? Does Aaron Rodgers drive New York crazy? When I say New York, I'm referring to the media. I'm referring to the reporters that he will have to sit in front of on a consistent basis. Or. Does the city drive him nuts?

Is he going to like it? I can see this being a verbal tennis match at every chance and every opportunity. The man running the show, the GM for the Green Bay Packers, Brian Guten Kunst. He spoke and he's like, man, we need to get this crap done. Why? I got better things to do. I got to think about Jordan Love.

I got to think about the draft. And it was time to get Aaron Rodgers the hell up one out of here. It was very important for us. I think, you know, wouldn't have been the end of the world.

But at the same time, I think it would have certainly changed things quite a bit. So getting it done ahead of time was important. I just think certainly the capital for this year, you know, was very important. Certainly more valuable than than future stuff. So for our football team.

So there was just there was a number of reasons, but that's why. New York Jets have been here before. They brought in Brett Favre. It looked good. And then Brett Favre got hurt. It looked bad.

And then Brett Favre was sending, sending a wee wee pictures to people. You don't do that. Get you.

Me too. That's not good. You don't do that. You don't do that.

You got it. There has to be consent there. But even so, don't do that. I hope Aaron Rodgers doesn't do that. I hope he learned from from Brett Favre. In Green Bay.

Welcome to real life. In the NFL. There are a few generations of Packers fans.

Who have no idea. No idea what it is to lose and lose consistently and suck and not have a quarterback for the better part of 30 years. You've had Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.

You're lucky. You know what's welcome to life in the NFL. Who knows this Jordan love going to be good. Maybe he'll be good.

Is he going to be Hall of Fame? Good. Like the last 30 years.

Probably not. Welcome to the real world. I was still kind of shocked and surprised. When Aaron Rodgers sat down with Pat McAfee and he uttered these words. This came out of this man's mouth.

How many people do you know have ever said. I want to play for the New York Jets. My intention was to play for the New York Jets. OK. And I haven't been holding anything up at this point. It's been compensation that the Packers are trying to get for me and kind of digging their heels in.

So I would just think it is interesting at this point to step back and look at the whole picture. You know, my side, love and appreciation, gratitude for everything that Green Bay has done for me. Love.

So much love and gratitude and just heart open for the Packer fans and what it meant to be their quarterback. And also the reality of the situation. You know, like it is what it is. Packers would like to move on. They've let me know that in so many words. They let other people know that in direct words.

Green Bay Packers said Aaron Rodgers stopped returning at calls. We know they wanted to move on years ago, man. We know that. And you want MVP. So stop, stop bellyaching like we didn't all know what was going on. You ain't playing forever.

They should have drafted your placement and they did. And so now it's done. Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet.

It sounds dirty to say, but it's the facts. He could throw the ball to Garrett Wilson. He can hand it off to hopefully a healthy Breece Hall.

He can find his old buddy Allen Lazard. Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet. Odds are they're not going to win a Super Bowl. That's just the facts. Have the New York Jets up their chances to compete for one?

Absolutely. But even it seemed like the Kansas City Chiefs, they ain't out there winning it every year. The New York Jets got like a one or two year window and Aaron Rodgers might wake up in January and say.

I'm done. But this is the Jets. They had to up their odds just a little bit.

And that's exactly what they did. I'm not mad at them for bringing in Rodgers. It's the New York Jets.

What else do you have to lose? The phone lines are open. It's eight five five two one two four CBS. That's eight five five two one two four CBS. If you're asking me. Well, the New York Jets have a winning record if this man is healthy. Yes. Well, the New York Jets go to the playoffs.

Yes. Are the New York Jets going to walk away with a Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers? I would be pleasantly surprised if that were to be the case. But I'm not holding my breath. I'm only anticipating the team being competitive.

In the long run, which might be two years. I don't think it's going to work. The New York Jets had to go for it.

But I don't think it's going to work. What do you think? Eight five five two one two four CBS. Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet.

Is it a match made in heaven or is it a match made in hell? I'm going to get to your calls on the other side of the break. You are listening to the J.R. Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're such a man of the people that you take more calls than any sports personality I've ever known.

And to take words out of your mouth. Pardon me. We appreciate you, man. Call in now at eight five five two one two four CBS. It's the J.R. Sport Brief show on CBS Sports Radio. We talked about Jimmy Butler's 56 points right before the break.

We talked about Aaron Rodgers. I'm going to get to your calls momentarily. And right now in Los Angeles, the Lakers are trying to take a three one series lead. They are tied up here in the third quarter, about seven and a half minutes left in the third.

And they're tied at sixty six. John Moran just hit the floor. I know I talked about Anthony Davis is always on the ground. Well, John Moran hit the floor. And if you know something, John Moran, he has basically a sprained wrist, is no structural damage to the bones, but the ligaments and whatever the hell else is in there holding it together. I don't know.

Popsicle sticks. It's busted up. John Moran hit the floor and he then hit the locker room. And so we'll see what takes place with John Moran.

He dropped forty five points on Saturday night in that loss. We know they got they got no chance to borrow a line from a disgusting human being to borrow a line from Vince McMahon. They got no chance in hell with no job or at eight five five two one two four CBS.

That's eight five five two one two four. CBS. Aaron Rodgers finally traded finally moved the New York Jets going all in and acquiring Aaron Rodgers. They want to win a championship. And so here we are.

The New York Jets have not had a title since sixty eight sixty nine. And they're hoping Aaron Rodgers can help deliver that to them. Is he going to stick around for the additional two years on his deal or is he going to decide to dip after this upcoming season? We have no idea.

We know he is a complicated individual. We also know that all things considered, barring the injury issues from last year. He's one of the best quarterbacks that the NFL has ever seen. And so the New York Jets are well within their right in making a good decision to acquire Aaron Rodgers. It's just tough to win a Super Bowl. The New York Jets have upped their chances at doing so.

Is it going to work out? I'd be pleasantly surprised. The odds lean the other way.

That Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet and that it won't work out. I hope it does. But I'm I'm not all that optimistic.

I think the odds lean the other way. It's just too many teams in the league. The Jets will be competitive.

But I mean, damn. Super Bowl. It'd be a pleasant surprise for everyone involved if that were to be the case. What do you think? The New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers, they deserve each other.

But is it a match made in heaven or is it a match made in hell? It's John Moran is back out on the court. 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. Brett, he's calling from New Mexico. Your CBS Sports Radio. What's up, Brett?

Hey, how's it going, man? I think in regards to Rodgers, I think it's going to be like it's been the last, you know, 13, 14 years. When he was in Green Bay, they'll do pretty well in the regular season. And then I think the AFC, if you can't get it done in the NFC, I think there's too many.

Okay, this is reasonable. I mean, even in his own division, he's going to have to go out there and compete with Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills, Miami. Miami should be good if to a tongue of Aloha can can stay on the field.

But that might be asking for a whole hell of a lot. Let's go ahead and talk to said said it's calling from Chicago. Your CBS Sports Radio Aaron Rodgers and the Jets match made in heaven or match made in hell. It's a match made in Chicago. We so happy that man is out of the NFC.

No, they are, man. Hey, I don't look to Chicago sports radio guys. Yeah, bro, like like this is perfect for us because now we're in no more. Aaron Rodgers, you don't own us no more. He can own whatever he got to own out there in New York. And not that he ain't owning us no more. We ain't got a film unless there was some kind of message they made on a regular field.

But tell them two times a year. I'm happy we ain't got to see him no more. But even even if we did, though, as we're developing as a team, we was definitely going to be starting to make some noise up in Wisconsin.

They are for sure. Yeah, Aaron Rodgers with that that twenty four and five record against the Bears. Aaron Rodgers letting everybody in Chicago know that he owns them. He owns the Lions.

He's making the belt references and discount double check this. How do you believe he is going to fare with the New York Jets, though? I don't think he'll be all right. But man, looking at the weapon situation, like you said, they got good Wilson. Do they still have a larger ball over there? No, Elijah Moore has been traded out. Oh, but they picked up a call.

And then they also picked up McCall Hartman, too. So there. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Corey Davis decent with that decent defense ball.

Yeah, I think he obviously got a chance, bro. OK, thank you, Seth, for calling from Chicago. Let's go to Dan. Dan is calling from Wisconsin. You're on CBS Sports Radio, Dan. Is this going to work out for Rogers?

What do you say? Yeah, I think I'll work out for him. But one thing you guys better have, you better have a good left tackle. Something the guard is back because I'm going to tell you, you know, watch him.

Rogers doesn't throw interceptions and he doesn't throw incompletion. He'll hang on to that ball. You'll say, get rid of that damn ball. You know, we're all hold it and hold it.

And then at times you'll thread the needle and you can't believe it. I think the Jets got a good enough defense or you got to score 40 points game. I think you guys are going to do all right. I really do.

I'm looking forward to it the way not because they love. But I'm kind of an Aaron Rodgers fan. I seen him play. I know what he can do. Are you are are you upset that he left or do you feel or did you feel that it was time for, you know, a parting of the ways? I'm upset with the whole organization, J.R. Wow. So that's what I'm upset with.

How it got to like this, how it got to this. Well, you know, it's upset in the way that he left. Yeah.

Kind of upset in the way that he got the money that he got. So you're preparing for lean times with the Green Bay Packers. Yeah.

I am back to Bart Ball in the 70s, I'm afraid. OK. That sucks. Hey, well, like I said, welcome back to reality.

Thank you, Dan. Yeah. You were talking about us. I know. OK. Sorry about that. Yeah.

I mean, welcome, man. We're entering into a space and an era. With the Detroit Lions should.

Should be better. Than the Green Bay Packers, you just heard from said from Chicago, we're entering into a space. Where Justin Fields can continue to develop if if.

They can also be competitive on a consistent basis. With the Packers. The Packers have fallen or come back down to earth.

You don't have you don't have the world's biggest or best safety blanket. Aaron Rodgers is going to be throwing passes in New Jersey. Paul is calling from Rhode Island. Paul, you're on CBS Sports Radio. Thank you for taking my call.

Marco Shep. Thank you. Listen, I got this this guy out of my division. My second team was Detroit Lions. He was the warden in that division for 12 years.

OK, now I got him in my backyard. That sucks. You know that that sucks.

It's a patience. Don't trade up and get something. Even if they get something to the Raiders, which is six. Maybe Mac Jones can hold Jimmy Garoppolo's clipboard.

I don't know. We're in trouble in this division. Just what I thought.

Everything was fine. Now I got this guy. OK. Back in my division. OK. What do you think, man? Well, you just you just named it, Paul.

The AFC East is it should be competitive. Allen. Rogers. Shall I can I count to a tonka below? I guess I should write.

A guy who wakes up and just I might need to retire. Oh, he's in concussion protocol. Let's let's throw Miami in there. Miami will be competitive. And the New England Patriots, despite anything or whatever the hell is going on with their quarterback situation. You know, Bill Belichick loves Mac Jones. Bill Belichick can't stand Mac Jones. Bill Belichick is ready to move Mac Jones.

It's going to be tough. Max, he's calling from Alabama. You're CBS Sports Radio.

What's on your mind, Max? I'm born and raised. Chicago bred through and through. And I'm going to tell you what, I believe Aaron Rodgers is going to be like Brett Parf.

You don't play for jets for years and end up with the Vikings. End up, you know, showing his winning probably. Whoa, whoa. I'm just saying, man, I hope not. That dude's crazy.

You know, all them webcasts and things. I've never liked Aaron Rodgers. Maybe he's used to burying me, but OK. I respect Bob. I do not respect Rodgers. OK, I hear you, Maxwell. I hope he doesn't show his is we we.

I hope not. Nick is calling from Maryland. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, Nick? I'm a little I'm a little upset that he's gone. I know he's been a problem, but I'm a Packer fan for a long time. And I think there's a lot of Packer fans out there that don't remember how bad we were when we didn't have a good quarterback.

It's really I'm not looking forward to the season. I kind of rooted for Brett Farb when he went to the Jets for a while until I kind of got over it. And I'm going to probably do the same thing with Rodgers. I'm going to root for him because he's been good to Green Bay. I just feel bad that Green Bay fans are so loyal. I just hope they understand what they're in for.

I know. I think he's going to be good with no no excitement around Jordan love, huh? Well, I mean, I'm hoping, you know, I'm a Packer fan for many, many years. My uncle was a Packer fan and I joined the club and listen to him. And I just I hope he's good.

But from what I've seen so far, I'm really unsure. OK, well, damn that you sound miserable. Hey, Nick, are you driving right now? Yes, sir. I'm headed to work. Oh, I was going to tell you have a beer, but I don't want you having a beer. I don't want you having one while you drive and I don't want you to have one at work. Hey, you drive safe, OK, Nick? At this point, I don't I don't drink, but maybe I might start. Don't listen to me.

Good idea. Oh, he he sound like he laughs like he's the Joker, man. He don't need to drink laughing like the Joker. I saw that movie. Was that Joaquin? No, no. Who did the Joker? Was that guy's name? So Jack Nicholson.

No, no. Who did the last Joker? Joaquin Phoenix.

Joaquin Phoenix. I saw that. Yeah, I saw that movie. That guy was a complete nut. If you laughing like him, you need to get your life evaluated. That guy was nuts. A good movie, though.

Now they got Lady Gaga in the next one. Anyway, speaking of complete nuts. Hey, Dylan Brooks is playing basketball. I'm going to take more of your calls.

855-212-4CBS. We'll talk more NBA. So we'll talk Rogers.
