This is the Truth Network. Satan's Nightmare, Nakia Kolof. This is a war! This is one warning. Needs to be settled.
What a brawl! Fight! And it's out of control here! That's a bad man. No, that's a bad man.
No, that's a bad man. Anytime, any place, night, day, I don't care. I'm only a phone call away, my friend. Welcome to another episode of QA with Koloff, The Devil's Nightmare. Welcome back.
QA with Koloff, Questions and Answers, where you potentially can get a personal phone call from yours truly, once the Russian Nightmare, now the Devil's Nightmare. That's right. And be able to ask me some questions. You know, if you're listening to It's Time to Man Up, which I hope you do each and every week, then you know I'm usually the one asking all the questions. But here I give you the opportunity.
So, personal phone call, go to kolof.net. If you're interested in having me call you. But today, it's not a phone call. Today I have in studio with me, I'm blessed and honored to have Bob Ritter in studio with me. Welcome, Bob, to QA with Koloff.
Thank you. Glad to be here. Great to have you here. And I know recently we just met not that long ago, actually, on a trip to Israel. That's right.
And I think we ended up on the same bus. Yeah, the Red Bus. Same bus. By the way, the Red Bus, Red Bus 6. the red bus and our claim to faint on the red bus is The Russian nightmare was our song leader.
You led us to an amazing song. Were you the one that one of the guys was it? You somebody came to me like, but we were waiting to get on the bus. And for those of you who don't know, I am not a worship leader. Oh, I loved it.
No, nor could I, I don't think, carry a tune.
However, God really put it on my heart. We're walking the old streets of Jerusalem and we're getting ready to head back to bus red bus number six. And we were just talking, it was just the moment I felt. And for I'm like, hey, I feel like God wants us all as a group on the bus to sing this song. And so I let out, right?
And for those who are not familiar, we're standing on holy ground. Is that the title of it? I don't even know. I think that's the song. Yeah.
Okay, we're standing on holy ground.
So I sang a couple, I don't even know, stanzas. Is that what it's called? A couple, whatever. Yeah, verses, chorus. A couple verses, chorus.
See, that's how much I am. That's how much I know.
Okay. Yeah.
But that said, so we finished that. And it was, I, I mean, it was a real solid moment for. For me, and some of the other guys were. It was a very precious moment. Of all the things we did in five, six days over there, this was one of the moments.
Yeah, so I had several guys go, Wow, that really got my heart right now.
So I think I came up to you and said, I did not have this on my bucket list. Bingo card. Bingo card. Yeah.
I would be in the Holy Land being led on holy ground by the Russian nightmare. Singing, we're standing on holy ground. Beautiful, beautiful. And Israel is a great place. Yeah.
Side fact. Yeah.
My wife and I on a trip, we're at the whaling wall there where we prayed. And we look over, and Gene Simmons is standing there of his fame.
So you go to the Holy Land. You might pray with Gene Simmons. You might sing with the Russian nightmare. You never know what could happen to the Holy Land. That's true.
Well, that's amazing.
Well, we were there an historical trip, and you were one of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds. I think they said a thousand pastors and Christians. Christian leaders, you passed your church up in Nebo, North Carolina. Yeah, right, right there, yeah. Marion, North Carolina, but Nebo Carrier Caroline.
Okay, for those who are like, where? Like, because for some I've heard of Nebo, but I have heard of Marion.
So there's the church is called Nebo Crossing.
Okay. We started in Nebo, right outside of Marion.
Okay. But also, Nebo is where Moses died on Mount Nebo. And he didn't get to cross into the promised land.
So, our church is Nebo Crossing because we want to experience the Promised Land for this life. And you know what's interesting? I don't think some people don't make this connection, but. Many of the cities in America that have biblical names. Absolutely.
Just like that, that have biblical names, or there's a biblical reference to the name, right? Because our nation was founded by people that read the book. Yeah.
We've gotten away from that, haven't we? Yeah, we have. That's a whole nother show. We're gonna have to bring you back for another man-up show. And we just had a great man-up show interview recording.
So make sure you go to the archives and listen to the full show with Bob. But so you're pastored up there, been up there 17 years. Yes, sir. And I know we we've talked you When you first got there, about 80 people, and now you run approximately 800.
So it's kind of a times 10 growth. You do a lot of outreach. You're a chaplain as well. We merged with a Spanish church. They've now come under us.
They're Nebo Crossing EspaƱol.
So we have a Spanish congregation. See, see a lot of exciting things. Exactly. Exactly. That's about all the Spanish I know.
I can count to 10. I took four years of Spanish, Bob. Yeah.
I can count to 10. Well, hey, you're doing better than me. And I'm not making that up. That's like true. We're going to get to about three or four.
I don't even know how I passed those courses in junior high and high school, but I did. All right. And then you're what's known as a brand ambassador for your change. Yes.
So let's enlighten our audience to what is. Your change. Your change is amazing. It's a church member. One of my callings as a pastor is to identify where God is leading the members of our flock and support them as a pastor.
And this is who Ryan Hartnett is. He is one of the founders of Your Change. It's been in development and very expensive app as far as the amount of money that's been invested. But it is super safe. It uses all the highest levels of security that Walmart or Wells Fargo or Bank of America use from Plaid and Swift.
So everything's secure. It's triple blind. It's where the non-profit And the donor meets, and then your change also can't see some of the security of the info and all of that. Transactions. Super stuff.
That's right, super secure. It's been. Like I said, in development and really the launch has happened within the last 10 to 12 months, and it's taking off. We're talking to some very large international organizations that are interested in using it. But the premise of it is this.
As a nonprofit, and you're on it. Coloff for Christ Ministries, 501c3. If you love Colof for Christ and you support what he's doing here and all the man-up stuff that he does with the camps and things, you need to right now go to your smartphone, whether you're Android or Apple, iOS. You can go to the App Store, you can download your change, one word, and then you pick to send your Roundups to Koloff for Christ Ministries. And then you link a debit or a credit card to it.
And then when you make an expenditure with that debit card, whatever the change is, if you make a $10.50 expenditure, it'll round 50 cents up to Colof for Christ Ministries. And it's just, it's painless. You know, everybody's got those video games on there they forget to unsubscribe to, and it's just kind of baked into your monthly budget. It's not a $100 a month fee to commit. Right.
It's just saying, hey, when I have loose change. I'm gonna just Honor God with some generosity. I call it intentional generosity.
Okay. It's making a choice to be generous.
Okay. And then when God sees that, and you know, as a pastor, if I could just say, there's some scripture that I refer to here that's that he says, he that sows sparingly reaps sparingly.
So I've been a tither my whole life. If you go to church, you know what that means. It just means I've been giving to the ministry all my life. But I tithe off my income, which happens about every other week.
So I'm giving every other week.
Well, in the last year, since I've hooked up with your change, I'm giving multiple times a day. And so, when you think about sowing, if you want more apple trees, you don't plant a really, really big seed. You just plant a bunch of little ones. And the more you plant, the more they sprout. And that's what that verse is teaching.
So I think it's unlocked a principle of giving in my life that, and I think about this with words. You know, you talk into a microphone here all the time. What if you could round up every paragraph with some praise and adoration to God? How would that change your life in the way your tone and talking is? That's what this does for your finances.
It's not about 10% of your income. It's literally a roundup of some pennies on every expenditure, but it turns everything I do, whether I'm buying a cup of coffee or buying lunch or paying a bill at the store. Grocery store, whatever store, I am. Being generous every single time. I love it.
I love it. I love the concept. And the minute I heard it, I'm like, wow, that's amazing. And so, yeah, so I went in, I set up, I got the app, set up Coloff for Christ Ministries. People, I guess, could scroll through the list of ministries.
I think you just type it in, or yeah, I'm trying to remember. It's been a minute since I logged in, but I need to do that again. But yeah, it'll be very awesome. They'll find it. They'll find it if you remember Coloff for Christ.
You'll find it. You'll find it and link to the right one. You don't want to send it somewhere else. Send it to this guy. He's a great guy right here.
Oh, I appreciate it, Bob. And so they just, yeah, there's spare change, right? They're loose change, spare change. That's right. They're digital change, right?
We don't carry a whole lot of change in our pockets anymore. On that app, it also allows for a larger donation. You could give a direct donation. Here's what's really cool about it because our church does online giving as well. But because of the owners are Christians and because this is about generosity, they have made it to where no matter the size of offering that They give, you know, you're always going to have that percentage fee that goes to Visa or MasterCard or whatever.
Right. That percentage they can't change. But when, if somebody gives our ministry $10,000, the cost from your change to them for that transaction is 25 cents across the state. It remains the same. It's 25 cents.
If they give a million, it's 25 cents. They're not taking 3% or 4% or whatever of it. That's right. On those one-time donations. And that's kind of really a neat aspect.
So it's actually less expensive than a lot of church giving apps when they give directly through that.
So if somebody wanted to bless you with a big donation, they could do it right there on their app in your change. And the fees are way lower than what any other thing would be. Yeah, any of those, because Square, you've got all those things.
So somebody asked me PayPal and somebody, you know, all the different ones that I've made available for people, but just because sometimes that's how they want to give. That's how they want to donate. What do you do with your spare change? Go to your app store, download the app YourChange to help support Koloff for Christ Ministries. Every penny, nickel, dime, and quarter helps us fund Man Camp and so much more.

So, wow, it's pretty, I appreciate you sharing that and being a part of the launch of that. And I know you implemented at your church. I think you said you had currently about 150 people that are a part of Roundup Your Change. Round Up Your Change. Round it up, right?
That's right. Round it up. And and we we I One of the neat things is realizing the How easy it is for the donor. It's not, in fact, most of the donors told me they forgot they signed up. It's not impacting their monthly budget in negative ways.
It's not causing distress. I mean, it depends on the dollar. That's right. It's kind of baked in. Whether you let off the gas pump and it says 70 cents or it says 17 cents, that difference usually isn't felt.
And so that, but that. Piled up over numerous donors can make a huge impact. I think of the change jar. I remember back in the day when I just used cash everywhere, I had this huge change jar on my dresser, and then about every two years, I would dump that thing out and be shocked at how much it was. Like, man, I got $750 here.
What it added up to, right? Yeah, so it's that concept over a lot of people. It can really make a profound impact in your ministry.
Well, I appreciate you introducing me to it. And I've just initiated it.
So I'm hoping in 2026, you know, we'll get some folks who embrace it and want to do it and be a part of it. And it's tax deductible for those who need that. It's tax deductible. All right on the app. All right on the app.
And you go at the end of the year and print out your own, I guess, PDF of all you're giving so it calculates and. And and tallies all of that for you. Beautiful. Yeah, it's super, super functional. That's amazing.
So, yeah, just if you're led, if God puts it on your heart to do that, go to your app store, download your change. I'm looking at it's like a little blue, little blue stick man there, yeah, yeah, in the middle, right? I see, yeah, that's it. Yeah, it's got like a like a letter C with a little stick man, just to catch, just make sure you're at the right, right, look for the right thing.
So, yeah, so if God puts that on your heart, by all means, uh, please, uh, and I'll just thank you in advance. Um, every little bit helps, right? Yeah, every little bit helps, and you know, whether, as you mentioned, whether it's you know, our man, like in our man camps, Bob, you wouldn't know this. We hadn't talked a whole lot about that, but like we've had guys who've paid it forward, and so we have scholarship funds. And so, for pastors like yourself, for law enforcement, first responders, military, active, retired, we have automatic, we automatically.
Gift those guys a 50% scholarship. Love it. For the cost of the camp. Yeah, this could help with that. And then if somebody doesn't.
You know, they're not one of those, don't fall into that category, but they have a financial need and want to come to man camp. Then we have scholarships available for those folks. And so we're never going to turn anyone away. And we're not going to let money be a reason why they can't come to Mancamp. I'm so excited about this because I really think kingdom impact, I think it's going to bring untold millions into the kingdom.
And I think you're okay with me saying this. I think everyone that listens to this should support you through this. But also, everyone out here probably knows a nonprofit goes to a church that can go do this. They need to do this for their nonprofits. Every church in America ought to have this going on because that kingdom funding is so important in these last days.
We've got to get the gospel around the world. I mean, the reality is, I know there's, you know, some people out there have made, oh, they're just always asking for money, and that's not what this is about. That's not what this conversation is about. I mean, because the reality is, okay, your church has electric bills, it has expenses, right? And those expenses, like the heat to heat your home, you better pay that bill.
That's right. Or you'd be sitting in the cold, right? Or vice versa. Vice versa, you'll be sitting in the blistering heat, okay, because the air conditioner doesn't run because you didn't pay the bill.
Well, churches are no different, right? They got expenses like anyone else.
Well, and here's the thing you have to understand, and it's kind of a dirty little secret in churches, is it's it's a fraction of the people actually give faithfully.
So, our church budget is on roughly 2%. You'd think 10% of everyone's income. No, everybody doesn't tithe.
So, it's 2%.
So, what our budgets take care of themselves. We're a large ministry with multi-million dollar budgets. We have a Christian school. We charge tuition. Everything kind of runs.
What we've been able to do with your change is we've attracted people that don't give. They throw 10 bucks in a plate when they feel it, but they've decided to become intentional in a small way. And for most of those people that don't have this pattern of tithing in their life or giving faithfully, they unlock the blessings of God because God blesses generosity. And he keeps track even of the little things. We know that from the Widow's Might story in the Bible.
He notices the small. That's great. And so we've had some people that. That have never given in the ministry of our church, that have given faithfully now for the better part of a year, and the blessings of God are coming into their life. No, that's amazing.
And there's, again, there's not that. May major big time commitment there, but just so well, that's amazing.
Well, thank you for sharing that with me. And so it is QA with Kolov.
So let's, well, let me ask you this before we get to your questions. People want to find out more about Nebo Crossing, like their website. Nebocrossing.com.
Okay. I'm easy to get a hold of. My name is Bob Ritter, R-I-T-T-E-R. You can text me at bob at nebocrossing.com or email, I'm sorry, bob at nebocrossing.com. Email me if you're interested in your change, want to hear about it if you're an organization, uh, your change, bob at yourchange.org.
I think that one is.
So, uh, you absolutely can reach out to me that way. But nebocrossing.com, we have an app if you if you want to kind of stalk our church and figure out what's going on in our church, you're welcome to do that. Watch, I'm sure some online Sunday online live services. Oh, yeah, but remember, the preacher's not that great. I understand.
Hey, are you this is a random question? Uh, so are you related to the actor Ritter? There was a Ritter. You know what? I'm trying to do it.
Like from Three's Company or something. Yeah, I'm trying to do ancestry.com and find out if I'm supposed to be in the I should be in the will. I'm just saying, absolutely. Or John Ritter, John. Three's company.
And then there's Tex Company. There's Tex Ritter, too. Oh, so two Ritters have failed to pay it forward. I go way back. Go way back.
Text Ritter.
So, all right. All right, Cole. All right. QA with Cole off. Let's shift gears.
All right. All right. I have no idea. Did you interview you? Is that what happens?
Yeah.
Well, kind of. I have no idea what you're going to ask, but you could ask pretty much anything.
So, what do you? Want to know today, Bob? All right, so.
So let's say, I gotta ask a wrestling question.
Okay. So. It's years later. Do you have a best friend from the wrestling world that you hang out with? Or one of the lifelong friends?
I do. I have several. One of them is right here on this banner right here behind me for those who are listening because we do audible, audio, not necessarily video. Yet. Note to self, yet Uh Lex Luger.
Who was known as the Total Package back in the wrestling day, who is now I like to call him the whole package, because in April of 2006 he surrendered his life to Christ. Love it. And we were reunited after really about 11-year absence. The last time I'd seen him prior to June of 2006.
Well it's December of nineteen ninety five. And how I remember that is all the guys, Hulk Hogan, all the dudes who are Randy Savage, Luger, Sting, were all in Charlotte for a big event.
Now, I had already been about two plus years. removed oh Yeah, November 92, help me with the map, but no, no, November 92, December 95.
So three years? Three years.
So, removed from the wrestling business, and God took me in a totally different direction.
So, anyway, so I went down just to say hi to all the guys, saw him there, and then reunited in June of 06 at a conference called Athletes International Ministries in Phoenix. Just a few months after he surrendered his life to Christ, we were reconnected. We have since become the best of friends. I mean, battle buddies. Proverbs 27:17 as iron sharpens iron.
He lived with me for almost a year in 2015. That's where actually man camp and man-up conference, man-up breakfast, man-up dinner. It's time to man-up radio show and podcast. All birth out of that time, him and I lived together. A couple of the others, just real quick.
I mentioned Sting. Sting is still a a long time dear, long time dear friend.
So we you know we'll we'll we'll catch up every now and then. Luger and I much more because we do these camps together.
So he comes in and does some of the teaching at camp. uh on health and wellness. Of which he has lots of experience with that. Yeah, I imagine. And so he'll do that.
And then the other one was my nemesis in wrestling by the name of Magnum TA. The one who had the car accident. who had broke his neck. And um we we became best of friends uh post Accident and still talk. In fact, in fact, 2026, Bob.
For those wrestling aficionados, 2026 is the 40th Anniversary of our best of seven series for the U.S. heavyweight title. Oh, wow. Best of seven. And so, what we're working on, I'll just let the cat out of the bag now.
What he and I are working on. Uh is a book. Commemorating the fortieth anniversary, A t-shirt. A poster Potentially action figures, a little two-pack action figure with the U.S. belt and my chain and the whole thing, right?
Flags, right? And, and, Uh, making a few appearances together at some of these Comic-Cons, WrestleCons. Good for you. Yeah, some of these different places. You know, just to.
Honor the anniversary, you know, meet some of the fans who would like to celebrate that with us.
So, yeah. What I love about you, and I'm learning it as we become fast friends here, and that is that you're turning your platform into Christ platform. Yeah, cle clearly, thank you. Yeah, he's made it crystal clear. Like, and I know you probably don't know the whole story, but like, how I got into wrestling was One of the most unusual stories.
You were heading towards football, right? I was heading towards, yeah, I was wanting to play pro football and got involved because a bunch of others got involved and was introduced to the idea of being a nephew for Ivan Koloff. And so the stage was already set. I just had to step into that role, embrace it, and then hopefully make it successful, which I was fortunate to do. Um and and so In saying that, so wrestling was never on my radar.
Wow. But looking back at defining moments, my decision to follow through with the opportunity now leads to, in fact, many of the pastors who've had me in over the years are like, dude, I grew up watching you wrestle. And then they hear I'm an evangelist, they hear I'm a minister, you do men's stuff, and they're like, we gotta have you in, you know, kind of thing.
So I have a question you may have never been asked.
Okay. And it came to me while you were talking there. I I've got a I've got some connections with some folks right now that are in the sports industry that are are Christians. And I know that you came to Christ after your wrestling stage. After my career.
Is that right? Yep.
So what what would what do you think you would do have done differently with your platform While it was happening, if you were a believer, a child of God, and how would you encourage a young athlete in whatever sport to use it? Tim Thibault, for example, really kind of turned us on to wow. But I think we're in a time right now, just why I'm asking the question, it's become.
socially acceptable since Charlie Kirk and some of these things that have happened that the the younger generation is thirsty for it and there might be a a way to merge those platforms where it used to never the twain shall meet right don't talk about it well or people would say oh you know religion doesn't uh belong in sports belong in sports or yeah or whatever right and uh yeah and so i guess let's see if i hone in on it on a more specific answer for your question and and really tying into the lord making it clear that that i feel like he'll he opened the door for me to get involved in in that in that industry. And then made it crystal clear to use that industry as a platform to be a witness for him. And so. What would I have done different? I you know, boy, it it was Many, you know, the wrestling industry as a whole.
In my era and prior, some would say it was a pretty dark industry. I mean, you know, everything's. Everything's available, right? Right. I mean, just full transparency from drugs to drinking to women, it's just all available, and so I.
I I think it would have Honestly, been difficult for me to be in that industry as a Christ follower. Got it. Yeah, that makes sense. Perhaps, I really do. Because nobody really talked about.
There was only one guy that I knew was pretty outgoing or bold. He was an underneath guy by the name of George South.
Okay. George South. And, you know, and, you know, people kind of poked fun at him and this, that, and the other. We always knew George was in the building because those little tracks, those little salvation tracks. Started popping up everywhere.
Well, he had those and he had somehow he had his own little caricature on the front of them and he'd leave them in the chick tracks, those old chicks? Oh, wow. And he'd leave them in the bathroom stalls and stuff. Love it. Yeah.
So we're like, oh, George is here again. George is here. Proselyting people. Pushing his religion again, you know, or whatever. But so that would have been difficult.
Part two. That would be a tough industry. And I'm not around it that much anymore.
So I don't know what it's like in the back room and in the dressing rooms and all of that. I just know what it was like when I was there. And it would have been challenging. Let me just say that. It would have been challenging.
That said. Uh, for the young athlete out there, the young person who you're you're you're a Jesus lover, you're a Christ follower, um, and you're wanting to know how to use your athletic platform. My encouragement is don't shy away from that, don't hide your light under a bushel, right? Don't, you know, just in love, be bold and courageous, right? And uh, but you know, do it, do it with love without being uh pushy or uh that that sort of thing would be, but use it, but use that platform because God's given you that platform, so don't not use that platform, yeah.
Um, because I, but I agree with you that that more and more we're we're in a time. When not only is it, I think, okay to use that sports platform. But it's needed if you, if God's given you notoriety and quote, fame. Then why not turn it around and set a goal of making his name famous more than your own? The exact opposite of a self-promoter.
Boom. A crash promoter. Love it. Bob Ritter, Nebo Crossing, up in Nebo, North Carolina, Marion, North Carolina. Real quick, the website for the church?
