This is the Truth Network. Welcome to If Not Forgot. Stories of hopelessness that turn to hope. Here is your host, Mike Zwick. If not for God with Mike Zwick, can we see tomorrow's headlines in ancient prophecy?

I've got a great couple on. They become friends of mine, Patrick and Amanda Garrett, and it's Witness to All Nations Inc. They run a parachurch organization that comes alongside the body teaching on the gospel of the kingdom, eschatology, and the rise of anti-Semitism and global Islam at the end of the age, both domestically and around the globe. Welcome to the show, guys. Thanks, Mike.

Good to be here. Yeah, yeah.

So let me ask you the question again. Can we see tomorrow's headlines in ancient prophecy? Yeah, I think we can, and one of the burdens of us Thank you for the introduction. We do run a parachurch organization, just paramine, come alongside the church to fill in these voids, teach on the gospel of the kingdom if they didn't have it, teach on eschatology. And I'm just going to focus on that one real quick here that A lot of times when people don't have great teaching on eschatology, sometimes these headlines, these geopolitical, this geopolitical news cycle can come quickly on them.

Sometimes if they don't know these eschatological passages. we're we're kind of Worried that some of these may even come along in the news cycle, and they may not even be aware that it happened.

So when we look at things like what's happening to Iran or we're looking at the economy, the gas prices, If people don't really know their eschatology, this is pretty easy if you know your eschatology to be aware that some of these things are coming. whether it's the rise of Islam. It's pretty easy to be able to forecast those things, but I think the average person They can't do that.

So we're trying to fill in the gaps for them. Yeah, how about you, Amanda? Yeah, I think that it's, I think we feel a responsibility for the body, you know. I mean, when we see things that you know people are a little bit ignorant of or not taught i think we feel a responsibility um that the Lord has revealed things to to his children. And I feel like once you receive that, I feel like, you know, we want to pass that on to others and so that the blood's not on our hands.

You know, we're watchmen in this time. And I feel like it's important to I don't want to stand before the Lord someday and He's revealed something to us and we've kept it for ourselves.

So I feel an urgency and a responsibility to pass this down. Yeah, you know, and this morning before we got on the phone, Patrick, you and I were talking about some false doctrine that is out there, and we have to teach the truth, but there's times where we have to come against the fake as well. And I told a friend of mine, I was very concerned about a video that she made where she was telling people that, okay, I think Jesus may be coming back Cinco de Mayo yesterday.

Well, it didn't happen. And then she started to say May 17th and some other dates as well. And we've talked about this in the past: how people setting dates, saying Jesus is coming back on this date or in this year, whatever it is, really has caused a lot more harm than it has done good. And you can talk about that a little bit as well, Patrick, I'm sure. Yes, no, I agree with you.

You know the dates that the point of the podcast, the point of the documentary, the Gospel of the Kingdom even, the dates that we should be looking for, the signs we should be looking for are in Scripture.

So he he keeps it very accurate. time clock to the day, calendar, to the day. When we look at the book of Exodus, when we look at the book of Leviticus, when we look inside the Torah, Hebrew Bible, we're getting ready to come up on Shabbuah, Feast of Weeks, Pentecost. And Just to use that one as an example. He had them count off.

They're counting off the alma right now, but he had them from. When we're looking at Passover, he's having them count off seven Sabbaths in a day. Think about how exact God is. A day. To make sure that the Holy Spirit fell on the first day of the week, Sunday.

So I think we don't want to be coming up with our own dates. Let's go off of his time line. Let's go off of his calendar because any time we try and set up our own dates, It goes very, very bad. Yeah. And one of the things that we talked about this morning, Patrick, was, you know, there's people who say that, well, Jesus could just come back at any time.

Jesus could come back any day at any time that he wants to. And, well, Jesus could do anything he wanted to, but does the Bible teach that Jesus could just come back at any time? Yeah, and I would say absolutely not. We tell people, we go help people and churches all around, and there's many churches that have cardinal doctrines like pre-tribulational rapture or the doctrine of imminence that means Jesus can come back right now. And I tell people, listen, guys.

Jesus is not coming back on May 6th. That's not going to happen. He could come for me. I could meet Jesus. Today, I could go out and get a car accident on May 6th, but he's not going to do that because, like I said, he He keeps his calendar to the day.

So we know that when Jesus returns and feeds the trumpets is in the fall. We know that they'll Passover is a huge festival and appointed time to the Jewish people, Yom Kippur, on the tenth day of the seventh month is even bigger. And so when we look at trumpets on the first day of the seventh month, the Om Kippur on the tenth, when we look at tabernacles on the fifteenth, those still have to be fulfilled. He's not going to get off his day. The Antichrist may try and change his days, but God's not going to get off his days.

Well, and you had mentioned, I think it was 2 Thessalonians 2 this morning, where the Bible actually says, do not let anybody tell you that that day has come until the man of lawlessness has appeared.

Now, from the way that I read that, it tells me that the Antichrist must first be revealed before the Lord could come back. Am I wrong? That's so good. That's so good. No, I love that.

And I love you utilizing 2 Thessalonians 2. That'll be our one we talk about. on our podcast. Upcoming on Friday is: I love that you're doing that because we try and tell people, we go around and And people will will be talking to disciples or people, and they'll say, Well, we'll be talking about eschatology, and they'll say, Well, they'll say, you know, I don't need to, the Lord told me I don't need to know eschatology. And we'll say, well, that's funny.

Because Paul is at the in the church of Thessalonica for three sambits.

So that means three weeks, and we can see that in the book of Acts. And he's already telling them, just like you said, I'm just referring to the one you said in Second Thessalonians two. He's saying, I already told you these things, guys. The day of the Lord, right, cannot happen. And the day of the Lord is just a term most Modern or Western Christians who are not totally biblically literate, they've never really heard.

And I blame the teachers for that. They never heard about the day of the Lord, one of the hugest. parts of our passage over 200 times in the old testament and he's saying they're saying well the day of the lord already happened And Paul's telling them, listen, I already told you these things. The day of the Lord can't happen till, just like you said, Michael Zwick, till The man of lawlessness, the man of sin, this antichrist figure. Appears and then he goes on to a bunch of other things happening, like the great falling away, or the one who is, you know, keeping him at this time is.

Is out of the way.

So, um I think a bunch of things have to happen, like you said, before that day can happen. But, you know, that also doesn't mean that it's a thousand years away, right? 100%. 100%. We can see some of those signs already.

And if we're really talking about. We just did a podcast. Last Friday, where we were really talking about Daniel 9 and his 70 weeks. And so we're listening these things are super accurate, and some of the things that we're seeing in today's headlines. Have you a little bit going?

Wow, we talked about how the biggest dates when we look at Nehemiah 2 and we look at Daniel 9's prophecies, that those really line up with AD 33 to his crucifixion almost exactly. It's one of the craziest prophecies in all the Bible.

So if you say to yourself, Well, look at all the things that are happening: the rise of Islam, the rise of anti-Semitism, look at how much it's costing, look at the wars that are going on in Matthew 24. Increase of inflation and price of goods. It's saying, and now we're going to be. Seven years in 2026, away from 2033, we are coming onto these things. quickly dramatically.

Yeah, and Amanda, you were actually a labor and delivery nurse, is that right? I was helped, yes, exactly, in healthcare. I did that as a career. Yep. And I think you use that as an analogy to the Lord's Return, is that right?

I did. In our first episode of our podcast, we went over Matthew 24 and just the correlation of the stages of labor and Matthew 24 and how things, those signs of the age to come, the signs that to look out for, are very analogous to the stages of labor and what to be prepared for. And that's why You know, I think a pre-tribulation rapture is very dangerous and I think could cause the great falling away because if Jesus is speaking in Matthew 24 about these signs to look out for, I don't read in there about us just getting out of everything and not having to endure through suffering or hardship or tribulation.

So I think that's going to cause a lot of issues within the doctrine of pre-tribulation rapture, because the Bible doesn't not talk about a rapture, it does talk about a rapture, it's just when.

So I think preparing the body for these things is very important at this time to prepare them for the signs, prepare them for. uh hardship and pain and suffering. And Yeah. Yeah. And one of the that's good.

And one of the things that I'm seeing a lot of people talking about right now, Patrick, and I know that you and I have talked about this before, is people are saying, oh, gas prices are going up. It's Trump's fault. And if you don't see the full picture, it's not going to make sense. Absolutely. If we're looking at Isaiah sixty one, let's look at Psalm seventy two.

That one of the amazing things when we go out and proclaim the gospel of the kingdom is that he is proclaiming this to the poor. to the oppressed. the needy and This gospel, this gospel of the kingdom, is for the poor, it's for the oppressed, and so very easy to. be in America and I'm not Picking on anybody, but kind of picking on people, right? But it's very easy to be in the West or America, be young, not know your eschatology, and go, Well, I have.

$5 gas now, I can't get to work. I can't get to the parties. How am I ever going to get married? If you don't have a good discipleship and eschatology where you go, listen, it tells you that the love of most will grow cold in the end.

So we need to be selfless. We need to care about these people who are oppressed. these Nigerians where there's fifty thousand Christians being killed. They're in Iran who are not only shooting people in the streets in Iran, but they're also taking prisoners, sometimes female prisoners, And So that they don't automatically go to heaven in this Islamic eschatology, they're doing. sexually horrible things to these virgin prisoners.

It's just these people are so oppressed. That, yes, gas prices, okay, it sounds bad, but these people need to be freed from this, whether that's North Korea. Nigeria, we got friends in Cuba that are pastors. They need to be freed from that oppressive regime. There's so many oppressive regimes around, whether it's Afghanistan, China.

Syria, Nigeria, DRC. There is the mass killing of Christians all over these places and these oppressed people. And we should be willing for our gas prices to be a little higher to do that as part of being a Christian. That's part of being a follower of Jesus who laid his life down for other people. Yeah, and you actually made a movie or a documentary.

I d I don't know if it was a couple of years ago, but it was called The Gospel of the Kingdom. Is that right? That's right. Yep, the gospel, the kingdom, because we could see. that there was a need for this.

We could see that most people Generally, when they are raised in a Western church or the American church or from this kind of ideological mindset, they only hear about Isaiah 53, Psalm 22. They're kind of told the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament is not very important. Hey, just read the New Testament. Here's the book of John. But that's not the Bible.

That's not the whole context of Scripture. And better than that, that's not Jesus. Jesus is not only the suffering servant and the Lamb of God, but he's also the baptizer of the Holy Spirit. And he's also the returning and coming king. In fact, Jesus is out proclaiming the kingdom, the gospel of the kingdom.

And even says in Luke 4 that that's why he was sent to tell people he's got to go to the other towns also.

So most people have never heard these sort of things. We're, like we used to say, the Jewish people, they struggle with the first coming, right? But us in the West, we struggle with the second coming. And so we wanted to put all this into the gospel of the kingdom, including those appointed times and feast days we talked about earlier, so people could get the full context of Scripture. Yeah, and Amanda, it's more than just saying a prayer.

You know, Jesus put it this way: He said that, you know, if you're a Christian, yes, you're going to do evangelism, but you're going to cast out demons. There's times where we baptize people, there's times where we walk in healing, and repentance is not optional. Yeah, repentance is actually nothing, everything precedes everything. It says, repent and be baptized, every one of you, for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

So, repentance. Yeah, with if that does not precede your baptism, then it's just a pool party like we've said.

So I think repentance is important and it's a continuation. It's the rest of your walk. You will continue it with repentance. Yeah, and I think I've heard some people say, they say, well, when you get baptized, that's just a public display of your personal profession. But Patrick, you say it may be more than that.

Is that right? Oh yeah, yeah. We believe that baptism has definitely gotten a Not a big enough look again. In the What? What did you say?

I was just saying it the same way, which is like, you know, just raising your hand for, you know, faith in Jesus, you know, just believe. It's become just like that. It's just a symbol of something.

So. Yeah. Yeah, but baptism, nobody waits, we tell people, there's nobody in your Bible that waits till the next day to be water baptized.

So usually when people contact us or need water baptism, if we're near them, we'll do a talk with them, see if this is really what they want to do, lay down their sins, and then we baptize that same day. Just, you know, exact same way with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch and stuff.

So this is essential. Repentance and water baptism is essential to your faith. It's the exact same thing in John 3, when Jesus is talking to Nicodemus in John 3, he's telling him, unless you're born again, you can't enter the kingdom of God. And that's our whole goal, seek ye first the kingdom of God, go to the kingdom of God. And so when he's telling them this with a powerful statement is he says, He says, how can somebody be born again?

But what's powerful is Jesus says to him, he says, You're a teacher in Israel, and yet you don't know about the Holy Spirit. You don't know about Ezekiel 36. You don't know about these passages in the Hebrew Bible about the Holy Spirit, about receiving the Holy Spirit and being water baptized to be born again. And then, usually, when people try to come say something against us, we go, guys, just look in the context of your scripture. What is the very next thing they're doing with?

Because they'll say, Well, the water is the water of the word. It's not water baptism. You go, guys, look at the context. What's the very next thing they're doing after he's talking to Nicodemus? They're water baptism, baptizing people.

Water baptism is huge. It is. And tell us the name of the podcast, again, that you're doing. Yeah, the podcast name is the end of the eighth podcast. And we are trying to weekly put out episodes.

We'll be putting out episode 3. It'll come out about 6 p.m. on Sunday Central Time. And it'll be on our YouTube channel, which is Witness to All the Nations. And you also will be able to find it on all of our social media platforms.

We have created a one click step of a link tree that you can find on all our social media platforms as well.

So if you don't remember Witness to All the Nations or you don't remember the End of the Age podcast, if you remember one of them, you'll be able to get to that one link on Linktree. and get to everything that we're involved with. If you want to know how to, if you need prayer requests, if you have questions, things like that, there's ways to contact us on there as well.

Okay. Yeah, and the Bible says that we walk by faith, not by sight. And this isn't something that you guys just talk about. I mean, you guys have actually quit your jobs and have just gotten up and moved on the spot just because you felt the Lord had told you to do that. Is that right?

Yeah, that's right. Yeah, we mentioned a little bit in the podcast, but yeah, we had very Pretty good jobs, and but we were radically born again about 17 years ago or so. And when we got radically born again, we realized we never, well, how did we sow into the flesh and not into the spirit? What happened to us? And we realized it wasn't, it was because we never really opened up our Bibles.

So we read a ton of scripture. And when we read a ton of scripture, one of those things we read is not to store up wealth for yourself in the last days. And so there was a calling that came on us. And the Lord really was like, no, I'm going to call you out of these jobs. Be full-time missionaries and go proclaim these things that you've learned in scripture, the gospel, the kingdom, these places where the church is kind of void of these things, and that's where really the birth of our missions walk.

And yes, we live. Itinerant, which means we help the body. We come alongside the body. That's just what the word para means in Greek for alongside. We come along the body both locally and internationally.

But to do that, we don't really have a certain place where we live. It's mostly like the scriptures where it says, if you give up these things, that you will have these different homes, lots of homes. Lots of people, though you've given up these relationships sometimes. you'll get many more relationships, many more homes, and that's really been true in our life because We're more blessed by selling our home and living itinerant. We've met so many great people like you, Michael, and so many other people.

Yeah, I've enjoyed meeting you as well. And one of the things that you were talking about earlier or alluding to was persecution. And you talked about what was going on in Iran or what was going on in Nigeria or what was going on in Cuba. We haven't really faced a lot of persecution here in the West. But with the rise of global Islam, it doesn't mean that it's never going to happen.

Oh, absolutely. Yeah, one of those things, if you go on the link tree or go to our website, one of the things we wrote an article series on the canary in the coal mine. uh really that this is a huge warning. we're trying to put out a warning that is Sometimes it's discouraging because people are not really receiving that warning.

Sometimes the canary is dead because it is gaining traction not only over the West and Europe. Look what it did with London and places like that, but it looks like it's happening, like I was talking to you a little bit earlier. News story from New York City again today, attacking synagogues, protesting. Islam is spreading. And if we don't get uh handle on it, then uh it's just going to continue to spread.

And you're going to see that persecution that Amanda was talking about, that suffering come on the West and even America if if there's not a something done about it project I think it may be um it may be ordained because I think we're going to invite our own persecution and oppression. As you can see, people are standing on the wrong side of some of these social justice things. And unfortunately for or maybe fortunately for the West, I'm not sure which one, unfortunately, fortunately, the United States of America may be inviting in their own persecution and oppression. And I think the Lord's going to allow that if things are true, if we're talking about these signs increasing and the intensity and the burning pains. that are going to increase.

we may be getting to that point where we need to this stuff is going to start happening in our own you know, coming to a country near you. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah.

Mm-hmm. Or like you said, Michael, earlier, when you were talking about Second Thessalonians two, we think you know, this strong delusion. If you don't love the truth, a strong delusion can be sent to you. And uh Islam is rapidly trying to Tell our young people, you know, that there's no Trinity, that there's no crucifixion. Yeah, God has no Son.

So if you don't love the truth, if you don't know if you're not discipling your kids or the people in your congregations, Islam will try to disciple them. Yeah, and the Bible says in 2 Timothy 3, 12, it says, Yea, and all who will live a godly life in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. I mean, look at what's happened to every single country where Islam has taken over, right? That's so good. That's so good.

We ag agree one hundred percent. Yeah, there's just yeah, what what country got better? What country is um, you know, where the women's rights or something got better or women are treated better or children are treated better? Um Yeah, so absolutely. Couldn't agree more with you, Michael.

Yeah, and when I think about this, you know, there are times where we have to stand up and we can't be cowards. In the book of Revelation, it talks about the people who will go into the lake of fire. And one point it says the fearful or all cowards will be thrown into the lake of fire. And we have to stand up for truth. But, you know, you're not going to hear this stuff on the basic mainstream platforms.

You're not going to hear this stuff at your local mega church because it doesn't sell tickets.

So, once again, if people want to check this out, the first thing that I would do is you can go to your YouTube channel, which is what Witness to All Nations. Witness to all the nations. It's got a thenations.com. It's basically the New King James Version, Matthew 24, 14, where where Jesus says, I think he's telling about signs of his coming in the end of the age. And he says, and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations.

As a witness to all the nations. And you guys have TikTok, Instagram, you have a lot of platforms, right? Yeah, we're on all the platforms. We're on TikTok. We have an X account.

We have Facebook, Instagram. And then, yeah, like I said, we do have a link tree which will get you to all of those, which are on our bios and our Instagram and TikTok, and it's also in our about in Facebook. And so you can get to that link and that'll lead you to our website. and other resources on that website. I want to say just one real quick thing, Michael, is we really grateful for you and your show and just your boldness.

I think that's a great citation of a verse where the cowardly Are gonna go into the lake of fire. A lot of people don't realize the liars will go into the lake of fire. And so you're seeing that all over social media and stuff. But I wanna just encourage you, affirm you, ever since I've known you, you've stood up for the vulnerable, whether that's with abortion. whether you're against abortion because you're standing up for the unborn or ever since I've known you're standing up for Israel.

And so just your ability to think complex and say on those things and speak out about it. We need more radio shows where people are not cowardly and do speak out with boldness.

So I just wanted to say that we really appreciate you. Hey, and I thank you guys for doing this too, and I appreciate you as well. One last time, the movie is called The Gospel of the Kingdom. You could just type that in on YouTube. You can look it up.

Look up the channel Witness to All the Nations. You can follow Patrick or Amanda Garrett, G-A-R-R-E-T-T, online. And guys, start to look into this stuff because as the day approaches, we've got to know what's going on.

So thanks a lot for coming on, guys. All right, for my YouTube channel. If not for God with Mike Zwick. Just like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell. Bye.

So you'll be alerted when we have our next video.
