As parents, it's essential to balance the idea that our children's hearts are desperately wicked with the truth that they are made in the image of God and precious to Him. This means teaching them to look outside themselves for their identity and worth, rather than relying on their own feelings and desires. By doing so, we can help them develop a deeper understanding of their sin and the need for repentance, and ultimately, a stronger faith in Christ.
