R1295 The Point of the Matter Continued

I'm going to tell you something when you find Jesus Christ nobody is going to be a hold you back. Nobody is going to stop you from worshiping God. God took us and he just put his hand upon us and we become unfaithful. We kicked them out of our schools are institutions homes. Our lives we directed to Mr. unknown God we become pagan worshipers with nothing but a bunch of Epicureans and Stoics.

We wholesale year, God's a place somewhere by whatever you call him, but we don't believe and we just and we play a game with God and we started worshiping out stained-glass windows this morning is talking about now. The people did not remain faithful and they were all just far too many of our people that have not remain faithful to the Lord. It was an incomplete tabernacle, God told Moses up to the mountain he said you got to do this the way I tell you to do it the way God told him to do, but he couldn't get to the point at which he could reach into the park was ever into the very God's galactic presence) to the throne of the one true God. The church it filed. It couldn't do it before the old covenant law. In verse seven. Most people today want to find favor with God. If I was to ask you today.

Do you want to have peace with God. What would you say I do. I have made my peace with God.

I read recently a story about a man who lived his whole life and he was wrongfully treated in Libby's whole life like that.

Got to the end of his life and realize that his life was coming to an end and made it his mission to go and find the people that he had had such a conflict with all his life and he's really final remarks on this earth was, you know, I've made my peace with those people. The Bible tells us because of the faithlessness of the children of Israel they could find no favor with God, and there are so many people today, people just like you and me, our sons and our daughters and I love ones people looking for peace with God.

The Bible says you can have peace with God through Jesus Christ you can be reconciled to him that Sue Jesus Christ. That's the point of the matter. Jesus is the point of the matter and verse one and verse two of chapter 8 tells us why Jesus is the point of the matter number one because he is our high priest, Jesus is our high priest.

The priests served their time, but they were imperfect they would complete Jesus is our high priest. He went to the cross. He's the son of God, he gave his life and when he died on the cross. The temple could was torn in two from top to bottom.

The way was open for you and for me through Jesus to enter the holy of holies is not fantastic.

You know that every single one of us through Jesus can enter into the presence of the holiness of God. He's our high priest. He's he's the one he's the only one you see the priests essentially did three things folks they interpreted, for the people the things of God.

Number two, they instructed the people in the things of God. And number three they interceded for the people in the half of God.

Jesus is our high priest.

What does Jesus do for us. He interprets God for us. That's what he does. He instructs us, in whom God is because he is God and he intercedes on our Baja before the throne of God.

It's it's actually fantastic. That's how we gain access to God. Jesus is the main point verse one. Now the point of what we are saying is this, we had such a high priest. I can stand here folks and talk about all the while meaningless in the world me that I can stand here and talk about how many times I've failed as a postures of minister. You and I could look at each other and saw a man weeps and exceedingly in the side of God. We go through the history of the United States and talk about the way in which our country is moving away from the Lord.

Every single second of every day, and these things we know we know we know it's true.

Folks we know in America we go to spiritual and moral crisis.

That's what he saying here is the point C folks. I made a decision in my life. We know that it's safe. He set up by the Lord. So what I'm just simply telling you today.

Here's the point of the matter. You ready for this all the stuff you know if we will when we leave today when we went with through when we get on about our business when we go back and watch our games when we cook our meat and have fellowship over food together when we when we walk in the marketplace of life is the bottom line when when we think about say all man we needed what's going when we pray for people who'd been sober re-talked about parents when you hear about the shooting.

We got a lot of serving a lot a loving a lot of giving to do. But here's the point is the point of the matter. Jesus he's better. He's the greatest give your life to Christ.
