The Pam Bondi Pick, Kamala's Campaign Debt & Ethics Hypocrisy

Well, welcome to the White House. I didn't know any of these guys behind me, but they just showed up. I don't know where the hell they came from. 2024. NBA champions, the balls.

You're Celtics, right? A Boston Celtics. He was on the struggle bus with that one. He gave his code name, too. Is he supposed to do that?

Oh. Yeah.

He gave his Secret Service code name also. He was like, yeah, they call me. Call me. They call me Celtic. 'Cause I'm Irish, is what he said.

I was like, what, what? He said that. That was what he said.

So it is. Yeah, it's just the Biden, it's the We we don't have much more of this, guys.

So just, you know, drink it up now. You know, if this is... I don't know what we're going to do without the absence of all of these sound bites, Kane. I'm like, really. I'm a little concerned about what that means for our program because we don't have.

you know, after come January we're not gonna have all this good stuff. You know, we're not going to have all the Biden, all the crazy Biden audio. What are we to do? I don't know.

So drink it up right now, guys. Yeah, we'll have to hold it. Drink it up. We'll still have Democrats giving us horses. Yeah, but it's not going to be like, you know, how many of them get lost in the woods, you know, like during a press available?

That's true. You know, I you just don't get gems like that every day. I'm telling you.

So welcome to the program. It is uh Friday. It's Friday before Well it's like Turkey Eve. It's like Friday before Thanksgiving. We've got a number of things to jump into.

We got the latest with the, we got media meltdown. The media is having a time right now. MSNBC is having a time right now.

So we've got all of that for you. We're also going to get into. A bunch of these other, because we got some more cabinet stuff.

Some of it I'm not too stoked about, and some of it you're not going to be too stoked about either, but. You know, it is the way of things. It's also cold as all get out in Texas today. I'm like, I could not find enough layers to wear. I might throw another one on during a commercial break.

I'm going to turn into Glenn Beck and just come in with scarf after scarf and sweater after sweater, and then eventually I'm wearing everything in my wardrobe. That's what's happening.

So, welcome to the show. Good to be with you. Dana Lash here, we're at the top of this. Very first hour here. And uh on Friday.

All right, one of the picks, and I said I-I- actually I should probably. Like, remind everybody on X, because we're on X as well as Channel 347 Direct TV. One of the things that. I did last night, and I was doing this morning, is I was reading. about The latest pick that came in for AG because yesterday, actually the day before, it was like what 12 hours from Matt Gates saying that he was no longer going to.

pursue the nomination for attorney general than you had uh uh Trump go around and then he nominated Pam Bondi. And I Looking at it, you know, from Just the top rope. At first, you might think, well, okay, because I know some Republicans were just very excited that it wasn't Gates because they view Gates as. You know, an unknown entity, Luce Cannon, and we'll talk about some of that report and all of that coming up. But he It i and I and I had a I have a piece that's coming out about that too, just in a little bit.

But this idea of Pambandi as AG, I think, has, I got some concerns. I have some concerns, and we're going to talk about that. Throughout the program. And one of the things I tell you: don't get super excited about it. I mean, I.

We we always complain about Bureaucrats.

So I don't get excited about bureaucratic appointments, right? Even if it's something to like the president's cabinet, these people are still heading up these bureaucracies, these agencies.

So I just don't get super stoked about it. But This, I feel like everybody's been paying more attention to it than not. And I think that's just because everything, every department has been so radicalized under the left that now replacing all of these people is of great interest. And I get it, it is of great interest. to us on you know, on the con side of the constitution.

I completely understand that. The uh issue with with Pam Bondi, and as you know, she was AG of Florida. And She uh was under Governor Rick Scott. when she was A G.

So she was there with Parkland and all of that stuff. And she's very much, I mean, she seems like. Like, she's the candidate. Like, okay, this is a good AG pick, except for some very unfortunate things that she has said before. Uh She is not.

What I would say someone who is a strong Second Amendment. politician. And that is because when sh she has actively promoted age limitations in Florida, she actively promoted the waiting day, the purchase of firearms. You're subject to a waiting period. Rather, she promoted a waiting period in Florida.

So, when you purchase a gun in Florida, I was shocked by this. You actually have to wait for it. That's crazy. And I know they've been wanting to compete. Texas is Florida's been wanting to compete with Texas on everything from like a friendly competition, you know, like who has the best tax environment?

Who has this? Who has that? But on this, Texas actually has Florida beaten. And we know that they have a lot of rhinos in their legislature that won't consider some of these other leas r roll backs of uh Gun rights. That they've had.

They have a lot of gun control.

So I'm looking. I've just, there's a lot here. I saw this originally. I'm like, uh. It seems like, I mean It seems like a not a totally controversial pick.

But I amend my position. It is, I think. I do admit. I can't maintain that this is a decent pick at all after seeing some of this stuff. In fact, we have this audio.

This is audio sound by it, I don't even remember. Eleventy thousand fifty million. We got a lot. 21 million? Yes.

2110 million. Because they always give us a lot of sound bites.

So, you know, we've got to pick through the millions. 21, please. This is a flashback from 2018. Florida, it's called the Baker Act, but it's our Civil Commitment Act, and it's weak, and it's about a thousand pages long. I've had my Solicitor General on it for four days, three days now, working on it.

We're rewriting it along with Governor Scott, who's you're going to meet with him, he's going to give you a ton of good information. We've been rewriting it, and we are going to bring in something called the Gun Violence Restraining Order.

So, if someone is civilly committed, and typically you can hold them for up to 72 hours, but people are getting out within 24 hours, the majority of them.

So, what we want to do is let law enforcement come in and take the guns. They're a danger to themselves or others. Without being adjudicated.

So, because they're a danger to themselves. You want them to take the guns and not go through six months of legal. Trials and everything. Exactly. But we also have to give the mentally ill the due process in which they deserve, President.

So, what we're doing is they're going to be able to take the guns when they're taken into custody or into the hospital, and then when they're released within 24 hours or 72 hours later, typically it's 24 hours, but law enforcement will have 72 hours to determine whether they should give those guns back or they can go to a judge and say, Your Honor, Please keep these guns. We feel this person is still a danger. To himself or others.

So, what they're talking about are red flag laws. And you have to realize that a lot of times these have been erroneously applied. And so many of them are actually overturned when they're fought. And I've written about this so many times before. I feel like I'm boring you by repeating it because I have literally written thousands of words on this.

I've written two books that cover it. I've talked about it, I've given speeches, I've been on radio, I've been in grassroots talking about all of this. Um so it's It is a complete Obliteration of due process when you are assumed guilty until you prove your innocence. If something is serious, It's serious enough to abridge or remove someone's natural rights. It is serious enough for them to go through the proper protocol that is provided by our Constitution, our Second Amendment, our Fourth Amendment, our Fifth Amendment.

And be given that because it's a serious thing to take away someone's. Natural rights. That's a very serious thing.

So there is a process in place for it. And what's more, I mean, when she's talking about red flag law, and for the people who think that red flag laws aren't important, and again, I've talked about this before, ad nauseum. because it should be a disqualifying position. Because this isn't about firearms. This is about the cornerstone of the Republic due process.

Just look at it like it's a math equation. Firearms are one of the variables in this equation.

So this is the protection of the presumption of innocence until you are proven guilty. And when you try to justify abridging this by echoing gun control, gun grabber language, and freaking people out over stuff. I mean, that is an abridgment of your constitutional rights. It's destroying due process and it's using gun control. Again, one variable to do it.

Anything can be used. Once this is done, by the way, once you pick apart due process, there's no putting it back together. I mean, if you like. the thought of if you're wrongly accused Do you want to be punished? Before you go to court?

I mean, if someone accuses you of a crime, do you want law enforcement to, without any knowledge of you, showing up? at your house, maybe you're performing a no-knock raid. and going in, seizing your property. Everyone knows something's up. Do you like the idea of not being able to enjoy the presumption of innocence until guilt is proven by the state?

Or do you like the system in place now which protects that? And the state has to prove their case against you. Do you want to wait? anywhere from 14 days to a month. To get your day in court in front of a judge in order to plead your case and prove yourself innocent and get your property back.

I mean, if you want to do that, then you're going to love red flag law. If you've got money to burn and you can hire an attorney to cover all of that for you, you're going to love red flag law. But if you're broke as hell and you're tired of a government that has already been weaponized against you, being further weaponized against you by having someone in the damn DOJ that is celebrating a removal of due process right after we've had Mayor Garland, then you're going to hate red flag law. Why in the hell are we even entertaining anybody that has zero respect for due process for Attorney General? Were people not bent over a barrel and told to grab their angles for Americ Gardland enough?

Were we all not abused enough by the DOJ? Parents who spoke up at town halls? Did you like the fact that you were labeled a domestic terrorist because you showed interest in protecting your sons and daughters in front of the school board? Did you like the fact that you were presumed to be a threat or to be guilty of something before being able to plead your case and have the FBI clear you of that tag? Because that's red flag law in practice.

If you hated that, you're gonna hate what she promoted. I don't get this. I don't get people who are like, oh my gosh, we have deep state, deep state. And then they're like, gosh, can we fluff a member of deep state? Who can we go after and slob all over next?

I don't get it. It boggles the mind. That's exactly what this is though. There's no excuse to it. But what's more, it gets worse.

In some of these states, You have these cases where they come and confiscate it. It's not a criminal issue. It is a civil matter. meaning that you're someone in a civil case and you are facing the prospect of having your constitutional, your natural rights removed from you, and you have to go up You have to stand toe to toe with the district attorney yourself. If you cannot afford to hire someone, with a with as much pizzazz as the DA that's out to get you, you're screwed.

And in a lot of these states, that's how these cases are treated. Why are we entertaining any kind of disqualifying position for this? And then pretending that we're celebrating the upholding of the rule of law. I'm not going to get into that Alice in Wonderland. you know, Lewis Carroll type BS.

Not doing it. Either you hate deep state and you felt as though you and the former president and everybody else were treated unfairly, or you like it and you're willing to tolerate it for a little bit for the appearance of a win. But it's going to come back to screw you. I guarantee you. We got a lot more on the way.

This gun ownership rates have spiked amongst Republican women today in Duh. I've been telling people this for the better part of two years.

So I'm glad that Gallup finally caught along. And even though it's, you know, a little, too, a little too late, but this has been increasing for quite some time. The rate's fallen amongst Democrat men. It's down five points amongst Independent. Republican men are still most likely.

And now women are seeing a spike as well.

Well, yeah, that makes anybody who wants to keep themselves safe. uh wants to uh go out and own a firearm. But man, you're gonna have a tougher time, I think, under somebody like Pam Bonte. Also, let's see here. Andrew Bailey announced a lawsuit against Jackson County, Missouri.

This is crazy, Jackson County, Missouri. It's down there by Table Rock Lake.

Well, not totally by Table Rock Lake, but you know, it's between Table Rock Lake and Mississippi. Apparently, they are, he notified Jackson County of anticipated litigation. They passed an ordinance that prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from possessing firearms or ammunition. And this is also applicable to you if you're in the military, even though under 21 can still have rifles and shotguns and all of that. And they're trying to criminalize all of it.

So he's fighting them and he's announcing a lawsuit against them because they've absolutely violated Jackson County residents' Second Amendment rights. Giraffes are about to join the endangered species list, too. I'll tell you that next headline segment. We got a lot more on the way. Stick with us.

I'm always going to tell people to carry, and I'm always going to tell you. That it's good to train, and I have zero hesitancy at all whatsoever to use lethal force on anyone who's posing a threat to me or my family. There are also instances where I can't carry because I'm barred, whether it's a gun-free zone sign or a gun-free zone area. And I always, because of the nature of my work, don't have the luxury of just saying, I'm not going to go here. I'm just going to skip out on this for today because I would actually get in trouble with my job if I did that on a regular basis.

Uh so this pan bondi issue uh I I um I have zero patience uh with some of this stuff. 'Cause yesterday I'm like, oh, maybe it doesn't seem like it's such an offensive pick. And then I went in and I was looking at And I didn't champion her, by the way. And I didn't say, yes, let's go and get her confirmed. I'm like, oh, this seems like an inoffensive pick.

Then I was reading yesterday about all of her history because I'm familiar with Moody. Bondi was there under Scott. And so I was reading about all of her. Positions, and I just it freaks me out, guys. I'm not gonna lie, I think this is a huge issue.

We're not talking, I'm not talking about this like it's oh, it's Secretary of the Interior, it's this or that. This is somebody who literally could ruin your life. in a position of power. With what they have. And so, if we're not on the same page with something as basic as like the Fourth and Fifth Amendment, That's disqualifying, guys, and you need to demand better.

I got a bunch of these beta males out here, out here that are yelling at me and whining and crying and having their periods. Like, oh, why are your red flags so important to you? I mean, I'm sorry that you're not man enough to carry or concern yourself with, you know, self-defense, but you know, some of us are and some of us want to. And we don't want to ever have our property seized from us due to false accusations or being told that we have to prove our innocence in a court of law. I just have no patience.

I was joking with Kane earlier. I was like, I think I want to have like, you know, free crotch kicks for, you know, the beta males who think that this isn't a big issue, right? I mean, it's, you know, free of charge. Get your free crotch kick. It's not how I said it, maybe, but that's the most pleasant way of putting it.

Thank you. I just, I don't have any patience for this. Why are we flirting around with something like this? I mean, I don't know. It's troubling.

Now, just here's some of the hits. Let me just tell you some of the hits.

So. That was a lot. And we got other stuff to hit, but this is important.

So She first off, she we played the video where she was promoting red flag law. In her own words, she was promoting red flag law. She has really fought. a lot against a lot of gun rights. She was uh I mean, she fought against Open carry.

She's not a big open carry supporter. She was very, very anti-Second Amendment. She. Defended The senior grandma in Florida. But then she also was saying that standard ground.

Uh she she had opposed the semi-automatic weapon ban in Connecticut. She went after uh and defended uh the uh standard ground law in Florida, but that's kind of to the extent of it.

So in 2013 She defended the bar on open carry. She was against open carry. And she Also, uh I I mean she I don't know. I don't know why you would why you would Prohibit that, why you would encourage and advocate for the prohibition of that. She also was defending a lot of the gun control measures passed after Parkland, and that includes age restrictions.

She was vociferously in favor of age restrictions. And she Uh Was very she's tried to seem very two-way when she was out there, you know, when she when she's out like on a campaign trail for folks, but not really and when she was out campaigning for herself, but not really so much with record. I'm not going to hold it against her that she was a registered Democrat in the 90s because there are a lot of people who've changed and switched over since then. But on 2A stuff, that's a big deal. And um I mean, what gets me is that some of the, you know, I was just going to put it like that.

You get some really big Second Amendment organizations. that are that have people in Florida. And I see them, they get a lot of money and they don't do a damn thing for you. And I'm just curious because I didn't see any of them on stage with me when I was at Parkland. I sure as hell didn't see any of them afterwards in the neighborhoods trying to protect Second Amendment rights and advocate for that and educate on that when all of this stuff was passing under Rick Scott as governor with Pam Bondi as AG.

But they're always quick to run and say, like, and try to reassure their membership in the press and say things like, oh, Bonte is a friend of our organization's. That's what one gun control lobbyist said, or gun Second Amendment lobbyist said. I mean, when you have two A people like that. As lobbying for gun rights groups, why do you need gun control?

Someone who is restricting your rights is not a friend of your organization.

So I just, I have a major problem with some of this stuff. By the way, there was Marion Hammer, is who I'm talking about, in case you wanted me to put a name to it. I got problems with this. major problems with it. I mean, all of this.

I mean, when you have. When you're pushing for age restrictions, when you're pushing for waiting periods, when you're pushing, and this is. The biggest thing. THE COMPLETE FLIP of due process I that really think about it. Trump has four years.

Okay. We got midterms in two years. If you get A second A questionable on the Second Amendment, AG in this position. And she does some damage. And she allows and uh and establishes legal precedents against two, four, and five a.

Where does that leave you if you get a Gavin Newsom administration after? Do you see what I'm talking about? There are legal processes in place. If someone is dangerous, if they're a danger to themselves or others. You can adjudicate them mentally unfit.

There's a number of ways to do it where you're still respecting. The process of natural rights. And I'm not just talking about for that individual. You're not allowing a legal precedent to be established that affects everyone else negatively and can be weaponized against everyone else. I have so many examples of this.

Where This uh has been where they've been improperly used, where they have been erroneously used. In Colorado, there was a very famous case of a woman who just made up a red flag accusation and it was allowed to take it was allowed to be implemented. And they had to go to court and fight it and all that. I mean, red flag laws assume that you're guilty. You have to pay to prove yourself innocent.

And in some States it's treated as a civil case, not a criminal case.

So you have to you have to pay for all of it yourself. That's the problem. The standard of the evidentiary standard is a lot lower. And in some states, any Tom Dick or Harry can make a file against you. And that's the argument that they're going to try to use to make this national, by the way, because every state, state's laws are so different.

The states that have incorporated red flag, there's no, there's no. A common standard of measure where it concerns the evidentiary standard or anything else. And they're all kind of all over the place. And so that's one of the ways that gun control Activists are trying to argue we need to establish a national one because, see, we got all these, and they're not equal in every state. They're not consistent in every state.

So, we need to have a national standard. That's what they're pushing for.

Someone like Pam Bondi, with her history, she'll give it to them. I'm not, that's not a hyperbole. I'm just stating her record. If people are upset with me stating her record, then I suggest you get pissed at her for having the record instead of me pointing out the record that she has. It is not my problem that someone else decided that they were going to dare look their duty as an office holder and ignore natural rights.

That's their issue, not mine. But I don't want to see people make the same mistake of getting someone who has, you know, the right letter after their name, but doesn't have the record to match. And we got to be really strict on this stuff. I'm going to tell you, some of this process is not advantageous to everyone. It is more advantageous for me to sit here and blow smoke up everybody's backside and go, rah, rah, yes, team, this is great.

I have no objections. It is a hell of a lot harder for me to say what I say and then get calls from people when I'm off air, which I guarantee are going to happen the moment I'm off air. Of people going to try to read me the Riot Act because I dare disagree publicly. It is a hell of a lot easier for me to go out and be like, no, this is great. Let's just do it.

That's how you make money in this environment, is you just agree with everything. You're agreeable. You entertain and you're just agreeable and you don't put out any hard truths. That's great if you want to do weak ass beta radio or beta commentary or beta podcasting, but that's not what we do. That's not what we've ever done.

And I, you know, quite frankly, don't want to help build a government. That has any vestige of anything that Merritt Garland represented, or that puts into practice even a ghost. of what he had in his previous tenure as AG. and then sanction it because it's a Republican. Oh, it's okay now because it's a Republican doing it.

I think you guys have seen too. That not all Republicans are the same. I mean, I, right off the bat, I can come up with someone whose name rhymes with Smitch Piconnell. Not all Republicans are the same. You gotta say.

Now I don't want to sound mean and cranky. You know, we got a lot of other fun stuff too, but I can't tell you how important this is. This is very important. And because she's so moderate on this stuff. And don't don't take the bait.

And just and then just act like any objection or take the bait of anyone trying to misconstrue any objection to her as being strictly about, oh, it's just a gun thing. It is way more than that. Again, it is about due process. This isn't just Second Amendment, it's your fourth and fifth, too. Major, major concerns here.

I welcome any clarifications. You know, if she comes out tomorrow and says, I was wrong to do all this, I was wrong to do it. I'm never going to do this again. I'm always going to be strict by the book of the Constitution, etc. You know, that's great.

We can talk about going forward. But that's the that's the issue. Nobody wants to clarify anything. I mean, I'm even telling you right now, yesterday when I saw it, just we were on air and it was very quick when all this stuff was happening. And I'm like, yeah, it doesn't seem so inoffensive.

After radio, I'm reading that. I'm like, oh, no, no, no, it's offensive. Yeah, offend. I don't like using that word. It's concerning.

There's some concerns.

So This is something that we really got to consider.

Now, Ken Paxton, I don't know. He's um I I'd like for him to stay in Texas, but if I have to give him up. Because he's strong on all of these issues. Huh? You know, I think I think I could probably be prevailed upon to part with him.

I don't know.

Really, would I? We'll talk about that more, but we'll see where this goes. She Bondi would would get confirmed. Because she's moderate on these issues. She would absolutely get confirmed.

So the clip of us talking about it was okay. But YouTube got mad at us. They get, I think the baristas, they get, they try to flag as much stuff as possible. Every day it's something. Dana, you breathed wrong.

Dana, we don't like the way your face looks. Dana, we hate you. We hate your ideas. Like some of the YouTube glorified baristas get mad over something and they flag it. And it's like they make it to where you, it's, I, can I, can I complain just a moment?

It is a digital hellscape. And I'm so glad that the people out there watching don't actually know all of the garbage that we have to put up with. To be on YouTube and to get like the stuff out there because they make it impossible. They make it impossible. Heaven forbid I talk about any ungay things, G-U-N.

But in Pig Latin, I just realized how bad that sounds. You know what I mean? You can't talk about any pew-pew sticks because the moment I do, that's one that will immediately get suppressed. And if I go too much into it, then they try to pull it off. It's just crazy.

But yeah, they flagged it. They were very upset over it. I do have an update, though. I have an update. Oh, yeah.

So, when it's all AI that flags this stuff, it's never a human. Oh, no, it's some dork. I know it is. But I requested a review so a human can look at it, and we got it through.

So, we are getting monetized.

So you gotta ask humans to do it for you. But what about... Lord. To not like me. Baristas.

The baristas did. That's right. You know what would make all this better? I should get another puppy. Or another dog.

Chris, listen. Don't. I just pray he's not. That because I feel very like falling down. Like that movie, which was a brilliant movie.

I think it's we're post-election cycle, and the media is not letting it go.

So they want to fight over literally everything. They're going to continue the election litigation. all the way up for everything. They're gonna make you pay for winning. You're gonna pay for winning and they're gonna make it hell.

And uh We're at the top of our second hour this Friday, getting you all set up. We've been talking about concerns I got with the AG pick. I'd love to have her on. We can talk about it, you know, and if she wants to clarify stuff, that'd be, you know, I'm totally about that. I just.

I I want to impress on people the seriousness of uh of a pick like this. This is one of the serious ones.

So, you know, it has to be taken, obviously, as such.

So we'll see. We'll see if we can get her on. Usually when it comes to two-way stuff, it's very difficult if it's a elected official that maybe has been on the wrong side of the Second Amendment to come onto the program. 'Cause they don't want to, Kane, isn't that correct? That is something that they go from g sending us everything that they do and asking for airtime all the time to, oh no, suddenly they just, oh no, on that issue, what?

No, what? No, we can't. They hide. It's wild.

So And then I have to run them down and raise the fit on social media. And then you guys pressure them and then they come on. That's how you guys got Cornyn to come back. Cornyn had been on the show before, but then with the red flag bill, oh, I was livid. And he didn't want to come on.

And I said something about it on social media, and you all are like relentless. You guys were like, no, you're gonna go on or something. And he did because you guys wanted to hear what he had to say. He wasn't talking to anybody about this stuff. And it came on and we had a big old debate about it.

But It's important, I think. You need to have these clarifications. And I'm all about hearing people explain to me their processes. But until they do so, I have to, you know, I go by what I see and what the record is.

So speaking of record, we got a record of an election. Two weeks ago. And Have you seen the fun rate? I asked yesterday, where's Kamala Harris? I asked yesterday, where is she?

She's uh trying to raise money.

Now what they're saying. is that she's raising money for a recount. But you guys know it's not. Or she's she's twenty billion or twenty million in the hole. She's twenty million dollars in debt.

They raised a billion dollars. To I well, how did she spend 1.2 I don't know. I don't know.

Uh Berdiz? Yeah.

How much did Bayonse get? To show up and Yeah, an Oprah got some. Mm-hmm. Yeah, they get paid.

So now they're pushing for a recount. And they're sending out these emails. and they're pushing for a recount. And that's it's just the last gas. They have the Harris Victory Fund that is a joint fundraising committee that she's authorized with the DNC and other state parties.

And apparently there are They're kind of the deadline to request a recount in Wisconsin is already, that's the closest state. Trump won that by less than 1%. That's already done. And that was Tuesday. Uh of this week, I think.

And then Nevada, it's like 14 days after, and Pennsylvania. That has to be 20 days after the election. The fact that they have an event, they're not going to do this. This is her trying to raise money. To pay off the $20 million.

That's what this is. She's trying to raise money to pay this off. Cause she broke. She's broke. And here's the thing.

The F C the F E C They will allow candidates to go out there. and raise money. for a recount even if they have no intention. of actually filing for a recount. Oh, Kane, 'tis true.

Tis true. Yeah.

That's a BS. Mm-hmm. Of course it is. It's total BS. Yeah.

That's what they And so they're They're trying to raise funds for future political battles rather than recounts in other areas. That's so shady. That is so shady.

So yeah, that's um It's a problem. But that's a Democrat problem. They can go out and they can fleece their voters. I'm completely fine with that. Completely fine with it.

They can go, they can fleece their people, and Democrats will be fine with that. They don't mind it. I don't know.

Did you guys Now, we're going to be talking about some of the media stuff because we have Brandon Carr who's going to be on later in this program. And he's going to be joining us to talk about uh He's actually, we got AG Ken Paxson coming up, and then we've got Brendan Carr, who's going to be joining us in our third hour. For this um you know because he's going to be the new Commissioner of the FCC, as he should be. But it is interesting because remember, Comcast is doing a spin-off. They're altering their business model.

And they're separating. There Uh cable. programming For to offer to so they can offer up something else and make some deals.

So, the New York Post has this piece. MSNBC staffers are in a panic because NBC Parent Comcast. is doing a spin-off channel and it may change its name. They also cut Rachel Maddow's pay. Not a lot.

It's well I mean Sounds like a lot to us. It's a lot of money to me. From thirty million to twenty five million. Oh, she's only getting 25 million.

So sad, Kane. How's that even happen?

So sad. And, um Yeah. They have staff that are fearing layoffs.

So it looks like they're going to do a spin-off, like a spin-off show. or spin-off network. Because they've got all kinds of, you know, they're they're I, it's just wild that this is how they're doing it. And Some are wondering. Is it a coincidence?

after watching the election that they've decided to do this. Because you have a free market cable regulator, as New York Post had noted. Who's nominated as chair of the FCC? It's Brennan Carr. And Now then you have M S and B C Changing It's Business model.

Hmm. Hmm. I mean Comcast said they're breaking up into two different things.

So you're going to have MSNBC, CNBC, and then I guess they're doing a more deal friendly. Uh like spinoff. Very interesting. I don't know.

But it does seem like it's uh Not just a coincidence, right? I don't believe in coincidences in DC. Do you? Kane? That's fine.

I think some of this has to do with them transitioning to digital. I think a lot of this is they realize that they cannot afford all the stuff that they're doing because the return on that investment is nothing now compared to digital. I don't know how they're paying people. twenty five and thirty million dollars when That's not supported by their ads, their business model. I don't get it.

It's real weird.

Doesn't make any sense. But I don't know, I'm just saying, you know, it doesn't make any sense.

So that's going to, that's something I want to bring up with Brendan Carr. Like, I wonder, like, what do you think of this? Very interesting. So We'll see. This is one regulatory agency where they needed car running this.

So they said that they're going to be charging fewer people at Comcast. Charging fewer people to use their traditional cable lines for connectivity. And that's getting into all of that. I don't know.

It's also 5G too, so it's not just their. They s the the thought is that it's not just Comcast cable that's gonna see uh a reduced profit margin Because, I mean, obviously, you got to cut cords, but it's also a 5G issue that's contributing to that, which is interesting.

So, mm-hmm. We shall see. But uh I f I do find that you know they're having to make these these big changes. They're having to make these big changes. It's necessary to do so.

Also, a couple of other things. couple of things because we've got Kim Paxton who's going to be coming up. And then, of course, we're going to talk to Brendan Carr later on in the program about all of this. Speaking of MSNBC, I got to share with you this ridiculous headline that they have. I read the, and I've seen all the debate over it.

MSNBC had a headline. where they were writing about The uh Jose Ibarra, the murderer, the murderer who guy who killed Leagan Riley. And the headline was He never stood a chance. The murderer, they said the guilt of Lake and Riley's, excuse me, the guilt of talking about Lake and Riley's killer. They changed their headline.

But Twitter never forgets, or X never forgets.

Social media never forgets. And It said uh that Jose Ibar Ibera Jose Ibarra never stood a chance. Wow.

So I understand. The Mm. I think the rage is completely justified. This is a stupid. Headline.

It is a it's a it's a dumb it this is a dumb it's a dumb headline. Lake and Riley's killer never stood a chance. The outcome of this trial was never in doubt. Yeah, that's that's bad. And Some people were trying to defend the writer, saying, Well, they didn't choose the headline.

That's irrelevant. And in some instances, first off, that presupposes, you're begging the question by saying that it's less offensive because the writer doesn't choose. You don't even know whether or not the writer chooses the headline. You're assuming that it is less offensive because you're saying that it's less offensive because you're assuming that the writer didn't write the headline. You have no idea what the writer did or didn't do.

Number one, not every digital entity works like that. Number two, But This is This is just a bad You know what MSNBC could have said? That the way that the procedural analysis and when you look at the bench trial versus jury trials and all of this stuff and evidence and that, you know. It could be a boring story on policy and procedure with regards to the comparison of bench versus jury, but. That doesn't get attention, and it renders the article really boring, and no one wants to click on it.

So part of me wonders if they didn't If they put up this headline. Just for the outrage of it. Not because they agree with it, but because of the outrage of it. I don't know.

It's still, regardless, I don't care what reason, what the reason is, it's stupid. It is absolutely stupid. You have every right to be outraged over this. Because I saw some people actually It's shameful. You don't have to defend this.

It's bad. I mean, is it a clickbait headline? Yes. Is it heinous? Yes.

It's all bad.

So I don't know what they're saying. Oh, well, he entered the country illegally. And the outcome of the trial was never in doubt. The verdict was going to be guilty. And for defense, it was a hopeless case.

I mean, they really try to make this guy sound almost sympathetic. But you know what? That's what happens when you're a murderer. Who Has an overabundance of evidence against him. in an open and shut case.

has already confessed. Already he said he did it. It's kind of, yeah, the verdict is pretty obvious. You don't need a clickbait headline MSNBC. No wonder.

they're freaking out. No wonder they're having to cut salaries. because this is garbage.

So, this was like a crazy case. This is the Connor McGregor case.

So, apparently, they found him guilty. Of the woman who said that she was brutally raped and battered in her Dublin hotel penthouse. She got $250,000. She was awarded by a civil court in Ireland today. She said it was a December 9th, 2018 assault.

It left her heavily bruised. He shook his head. It was a jury of eight women and four men. They returned the verdict after deliberating for six hours. And he testified that he never forced her to do anything.

I mean, basically, he was saying that he just cheated on his wife, you know, or which is just horrible. But. Uh, he and she was with him. Dee was with him in court, but yeah, they found him guilty, and um. He's in the civil case and so which is So they're demanding that he pays up.

That's according to the Associated Press. Elon Musk's Neuralink has been green lit for its first brain chip trial outside of the United States. And it's this brain-computer interface startup. It's already received approval from Health Canada to begin a recruitment for its first clinical trial. in the country and um We'll see, but it's a big, they said it's a significant milestone in the quest to develop technology that enables individuals with paralysis to control external devices using only their thoughts.

Which is wild. That's crazy. Also, Christmas tree shortage. 80,000 are apparently destroyed by floods and the industry is not going to recover for about 15 years, they're assuming. That's, I mean, goodness, it's Hurricane Helene.

It tore through a North Carolina farm in September, uprooted 80,000 trees, ruined a family's legacy, and apparently other farms are suffering similar catastrophes. And they said they're gonna have to strip everything back, take it down to the dirt and start all over. They said it's millions of dollars in many years. It's just awful. And again, that's just one of many, many of these tree farms around the Appalachian region where that was really hardest hit by the hurricane and all the fallout from it.

But gosh, they said that some of the trays are rotted at their cores now because of the flooding and all of that. It's just, so it's gonna, trays are gonna be expensive. A mysterious orb zooming past New York City was accidentally caught on film by a local news chopper. I'm just gonna say it looks like aliens. It's.

Right? What do you think it is? Could it be a glare in the glass? Probably not. I think it's going to be the most ridiculous explanation, usually the truthful one.

I'm just saying, it might be. Ellen DeGeneres has moved to Great Britain. Says she's never coming back to the United States. Nobody cares. And Brazil's, this is wild.

Brazil's former president Bolsonaro and his aides have been indicted for an alleged 2022 coup attempt.

Now, he was banned last year from running for office for eight years.

And we kind of need them here in Texas because Texas has got some stuff to deal with. I was reading just an article today that's talking about the DPS now going after CCP operators. And he joins us, Texas Attorney General. 51st AG of Texas joins us now on the phone. He's a very busy man.

General, it's a pleasure to have you. I gotta say, did the thought cross your mind maybe? I mean, if you were offered. the Attorney General spot. Is that something that you would have, you know, maybe perhaps, would you have left us in Texas?

Would you have taken it? You know what? It would have been a hard call because I love my job. I love being in Texas. I don't want to be in Washington every day, all day long, every week.

However, I think Significant things need to be done at the Department of Justice and the FBI because there's so much corruption. And so, yeah, I think I would have done it if I was asked, but I would have been reluctant to leave Texas and leave what I'm doing because I love what I'm doing. I love serving the people of Texas.

So it would have been more out of just We need to fix this huge problem. get it done and come back to Texas. Yeah, yeah. And I mean, there does need to have, there's a lot that needs to be done, not just federally, but you know, also here, because you've been, I mean, I think you wake up every day and you just decide what fight you're going to get into. How I think your day starts.

We're talking to Ken Paxon, Attorney General of the great Republic of Texas. I wanted to ask you, too, about some of that, because I know I would have loved to see you as AG. I think you've been a great AG for Texas, and we're going to get into some of that stuff. And I kind of wanted to, just real quick, because I know that the president has nominated Pam Bondi. And some of us, you know, who really like our Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendment are a little bit nervous about some of the stuff that she supported in the past as AG, whether it's the red flag law and the age restrictions, stuff that doesn't fly in Texas.

I didn't know if you had a thought about any of that. Look, I know her really well. She served as the Florida AG. There were a lot of things that we worked together on, that we agreed on. We sued the Biden administration over and over.

certainly some of the things you're talking about, I honestly disagreed with her.

So Sinai probably agree 80% of the time. ninety percent of the time, but some of those issues are obviously pretty important.

So I'm hoping that You know, she will go in and do what needs to be done at the Department of Justice, the FBI, and just. dismantle the corruption and bringing in the right people to get back to to doing justice instead of political injustice, which is what we've got going now. Yeah, and that's and and especially with some of the red flag and age restriction. Last quick question on that before we move on. Do you think that that's something that would benefit her to clarify and speak about at greater length?

Yeah, I do. I think she she should should explain her positions on those, those matter. Obviously, Second Amendment issues are huge to our country, to the Constitution. to the fundamental rights that we were granted when this country was starting. And anything related to free speech, obviously, is right up there on the first step.

And due process, because you know better than anyone, General, about witch hunts and smears against your character and just completely fabricated accusations. And when people try to go at you in a court of law, I mean, you lived it. Yes, I absolutely did. And we had yeah, we have the Texas house. supposedly you know Republicans leading the way to to offer up a process It wasn't a process where there was no due process.

Unlike, I think, any impeachment in the history of the country.

So, yes, I have experienced it, I understand how important it is. that applied to the due process to apply to everyone no matter what their position. Absolutely. I wanted to ask you about this order that came out: Texas Department of Public Safety going after CCP-influence operations like Operation Fox Hunt to forcibly return people to China. That is happening, General, in Texas.

Tell us about this. Yeah, so I I'm just kind of learning about it myself. I knew from the immigration problems that the Biden administration. Proliferated and created that we had all kinds of foreign nationals here that. were not invited.

And there's no reason when the border's wide open that our enemies wouldn't send people over here. to spy on us, to potentially be here if if they wanted to. commit some type of act of violence. or aggression. And so I'm I'm not surprised.

And I do think it is something that the both states like Texas and uh you know, the the new administration need to address rather quickly because we could ultimately has some serious problems related to it. And this is, and this is on the heels of the other big story about China and the CCP. They had all these substations, like these quasi-police substations all throughout the United States targeting dissenters, which is that's just wild for us in the United States to think about. Like, if you go to a different country, you would have like a U.S. substation watching your activity.

But that's what the CCP has been doing here. This, it said Texas is not going to tolerate the harassment or coercion of the 250,000 individuals of Chinese descent who call Texas home. Yeah, that's that's a that's a I mean, we already have the cartels to worry about, General. We don't need the communist Chinese on top of it.

Well, you know, absolutely. And there's no way that obviously China would tolerate us having police over in their country. I know of no other country that would tolerate that. It's definitely something that needs to be addressed. rather quickly and uh I'm certainly also the opposed uh the So leadership in Texas.

and this administration will address it like on day one. Hmm. Speaking of cartels and injustice, this insanity that's been happening at the southern border, what can you tell me about the idea of because Tom Holman's been named Border Czar? What is that going to look like on the border? What's going to change in your eyes, your experience as Attorney General, litigating these cases, fighting the federal government so that you can enforce Texas sovereignty?

What does a Tom Holman Border Czar look like day one on the border for you? It is the reverse of what we've had with Kamala Harris. It is actually someone I've worked with Tom. When he was in the administration before, he's a great man, he cares about the right things, and he will. start enforcing the laws that are in place that our elected representative put in place.

As opposed to the Biden administration, that completely not only just ignored those laws, they didn't just ignore them. They violated them by encouraging the cartels to bring people in here. It was like a tacit partnership. between the cartels and the Biden administration to get illegals here.

So I'm optimistic they've got a huge job ahead of them because they've got so many illegal aliens here. Plus they've got to go back and secure the border, which obviously has not happened for four years. And you're also fighting, and you announced this just yesterday: an investigation into possible conspiracy by advertising companies to boycott certain social media platforms. You say that you're looking to, because the Biden administration failed to enforce antitrust laws against perceived political allies, and that companies cannot collude to block revenue from entities that they wish to undermine. This is like the digital landscape.

We were just talking about this on break. I mean, it really is a fight of free expression, free speech, the free distribution of information. Tell us about this investigation and what you hope comes of it. What's going to be the final conclusion?

So we're investigating uh the World Federation of Advertisers. It's a global marketing group that supposedly represents 150 of the largest world brands. trait different types of associations. And ninety percent of all global marketing communications.

So this is a big entity that has a lot of sway. And just from what we know, it appears that they And we'll find out more as we ask them questions that they're required to answer under state law. They colluded to stop certain advertising to what they view as conservative outlets that don't censor speech in the right way. That's illegal.

Now individual companies can make their own decisions about how they want to advertise. but you can't have an association like that collude to restrain trade and eliminate free market competition. That's what we're investigating in the Biden administration, obviously. Agreed with that and did not do their job with their federal antitrust laws. investigating the company, they should have at least done an investigation to find out what was going on.

So we're going to do it. Yeah, it feels like under the Biden administration, they felt so empowered and so untouchable that they were really open about this. I mean, that's, you know, I saw some people on social media on X trying to argue with you about it, but it's like we know that this has been happening because they have felt emboldened enough to brag about it publicly. That's exactly right. And Look, these these social media companies have immense power.

They make it Yep. Multi-billions of dollars, and they have a lot of influence. And they have a lot of influence in Congress, they have a lot of influence over the administration. And they definitely have have censored. I've experienced it on site on searches.

Where they discriminate against conservatives, and that's a real problem. They're supposed to be. a free open market platform, and that's not actually what's happening these days. No, it's not at all. Not at all happening.

And that's what's incredibly unfortunate.

Well, I know we're all looking forward to the new administration coming in in January. Hopefully, you know, we can get some answers from the nominee for AG. But I'm just saying, Attorney General, if the administration came and said that we need Ken Paxton, as much as we like you here in Texas, we understand that you would be serving a great, great purpose by doing it for the nation.

So I think maybe, because we were ready to fight over you, but I think maybe we could allow that.

Well, look, I'm a huge fan of Donald Trump. I've loved it. What he accomplished in the first four years. I think he's going to provide the leadership to turn the disaster around the Biden administration created. I mean, if he asked for my help, you know, I I would give it to him.

It's time for Florida Man. What does the word Elon Musk impersonator? Those phrase what does that phrase say to you? 'Cause this Florida man I don't even know how this happens. This guy He pretended that he was Elon Musk so he could scam a 74-year-old woman out of more than $250,000.

A Florida official said they arrested this guy. He was pretending to be. And this was just a couple of days ago. He was pretending to be Elon Musk. His name is Jeffrey Arthur Moynihan.

He scammed a Texas woman out of a quarter of a million dollars, although officials think it was probably more. He was impersonating Musk on Facebook. when this woman befriended him. They exchanged messages for several months and he told the woman to invest in his businesses, promising her a fifty five million dollar return.

So all the financial records show that she transferred all this money over to his accounts. and him and his business called Jeff's Painting and Pressure Washing. Mm-hmm. And then the woman's husband Said that beyond that, the woman's husband said she transferred $600,000 to this pretend Elon Musk. And he was finally arrested at his home.

He's going to be investigated further. No, never ever do anything like that. Never give your money to anybody like this. That's crazy. A guy pretending to be Elon Musk.

I just can't. I don't even know. Oh my gosh. Oh, Kane. This one is crazy.

The B thing? Yeah.

A Florida man survived a Killer B attack. while trimming trees. He said the pain was excruciating. He's a Brevard County guy. He was trimming trees.

And when apparently thousands of these bees came in, he owns a land service, traveled across the state for his job. He was stung over 120 times. He's also allergic to it. And he was on a crane, and he.

So he got stung over 120 times. He's allergic to bees. He was on a crane and he fell 30 feet to the ground when they started stinging. And he had to be hospitalized. He still has swollen welds.

He was pulling out stingers from all over his body. He said the pain was excruciating. And apparently he was trimming trees and it hit the hive. And that's what happened. Wow.

That's just wild. They had to pick him up, carry him in the car. It was pretty bad, but. He said the swelling's gone. He just has little red marks everywhere.

And uh Yeah, you don't want to make the beast, the bees, mad. That's a bad thing. Also, this story, this, let me pull this up. Former uh Saint Pete council member. was accused of hiding cameras in an air vent to watch a woman shower.

Sixty-four year old Jeffrey Danner. Not Dahmer, Danner, very close, was taken into custody for one count of digital voyeurism. The woman said she was, okay, so she was in the shower at his house. They'd known each other beforehand, and she was temporarily staying with him. And she said that she noticed something when she was in the shower.

At his residence, and there were these cameras in an air vent. One of them pointed directly towards the shower. And she took pictures of them, showed police's evidence. She showed a text conversation in which she confronted him over the cameras. And uh He responded to her with a text message claiming that he never connected them after realizing how stupid and perverted it was.

And so He used to be on the city council, and so he was booked in jail without bond.

So, wait a minute. I'm not excusing anything, but it was in his house, right? Right. In his bathroom. Right.

And she was staying there. Apparently. I'm not saying that He should have. But Where does one draw the line? What if you have guests over?

and say that you have safety cameras, like you know, you have cameras like ring cameras. You have cameras on your door, you have cameras like in your kitchen, or cameras on your entrances and exits. Does that qualify? No, what I mean, I don't know. I'm just saying I don't know, which is why I'm literally posing the question.

I think it's I mean it's fair it's a little weird. It's in his house. It's fair. I could have taken one look at this guy and told you he's a pervert. Don't shower in his bathroom.

It's fair. I could have saved you the problem. Yeah, that that's a horrible perverted thing to do. Yeah.

Whether it's in your house or whatever it is. It's horrible. But at the same time, I'm like, hmm. Should the government tell you what you can put in your own bathroom vent? No, they shouldn't.

So, lots of good things this Fridays. We're getting ready to go into Thanksgiving weekend.

Now, it came out, we've been talking about some of the cabinet picks, that so it looks like Gates is. Out. And the reason I said this is because And I was talking to some friends of mine. There's a little bit of a catch. He had resigned 118th Congress seat.

But see, he won election for the 119th Congress, so technically... You could So there's a caveat there. It's a little fuzzy. I actually went and I was looking back at the law, and it actually is they're saying that it becomes, they said the resignation of a member from the House, whether presented to the executive authority of the state concerned or to the Speaker of the House, becomes effective on its stated terms and ordinarily may not be withdrawn.

So his resignation Pertain to 118th, not 119th. But that's all moot at this point because he had said. He told the press that he's not going to take the seat in the 119th Congress. I find that interesting. Which makes me wonder About that ethics report, and I really don't care to dive into it anymore, but I just think that it had to do with keeping the ethics report from being made public.

That I don't know. I keep hearing from people that there's a lot more in there than you know, and the scope of it's pretty crazy, and all that. I don't know.

Um What I do know is that It does kind of look like he doesn't want it to come out. If he's not even going to resume or take his seat, that he won fair and square in an election for the 119th.

So I don't know. He um because then you know why That puts him back under the purview of the House Ethics Committee. And then that report becomes Germaine again, and then it can be released, and they would have to discuss it. I don't know if they would open them up for censure, depending on what's in it, or what's who knows? But um His wife had said yesterday that it was the end of an era, and then he apparently made mention to the press today that he's not going to take.

His seat in the one hundred and nineteenth.

So It kinda seems like it's about avoiding that. Ethics Committee report. I mean, that just looking at it on its face. Because being in the house, even if you were, and I was talking to somebody about this the other day or yesterday, even if you were to take. Which is never going to happen.

If he was appointed to the Senate, then the Senate, they give Stun and Schumer, who want that ethics report. That gives them justification to get it. And then it would so either way, it would come out so he can't, he would have to stay out of Congress for it to not. be made public. And maybe that's maybe that's the issue.

I don't know.

I'm just saying. I mean, it's, you know. Not like I do find it interesting, the accusations against Pete Hegseth, which seem very new and Kavanaugh-esque. I don't think that there's any shred of truth in those. I really don't, just because of the timing.

And it just follows that same old formula. The Gates thing predates this by years.

So it's not as easily explained away, the Gates thing. But that said, I saw that the left was saying, Can you believe that these people have sexual accusations against them and that Trump is actually considering them? for these cabinet positions and all this stuff. Um Really? Democrats are saying that?

Hey, Kane. Where is a place that name a place that Teddy Kennedy parked his car. Uh near a lake? Near a lake? All right.

In a lake. In a lake. Was there a woman in it? There was leaving a woman to drown to death in a car Yeah. Seems kinda serious, no?

What about that time, uh Guy who is President of the United States is grabbing women. And I had to settle out of court with them. before it came out that He had enjoyed some. inappropriate Uh Romantical times under the desk. It depends on what is is, though.

Yeah, that's right. It depends on what your definition of is is. Yeah, that's a very good point, Bill Clinton. Yeah, very good point. I'm just saying.

Or what about Al Gore? Yeah, I'll remember that this is so gross. Remember the story about Al Gore? He was going up getting himself a massage. Al Gore was getting a massage.

And so I think the hearings are going to be pretty brutal for him. Are they going to be as brutal as shooting a reporter at your stupid campaign range day for the loser Senate candidate that you were pushing? Remember that guy you guys shot? How's he doing? Hey, that range that's operated by a prohibited possessor.

What about that one? Yeah? I don't know.

He's where does Adam Kinzinger go when Trump's out of office? What happens to those people? They gotta find somebody new to hate. What is he gonna do? Think about it.

Guys, his job security runs out. When Trump leaves office in four years, what is he going to do? What is he going to do? He's got to hurry up and recruit someone else to hate to bits. I mean, they're not going to like him if he likes somebody.

Don't lecture me about women in combat. Women have been in combat, and it doesn't matter if that 762 hits you in the chest. No one gives a ⁇ if it's a woman or a guy who pulled that turtle, you're still dead.

So if you meet the standards, our military must be and always should be. A standards-based merit-based yeah, don't sit here and lecture me with your gaslighting BS. Because we're not talking about merit or standard base. We're literally talking about the ingratiation of women at all levels, including like on-the-ground strike teams, like hand-to-hand combat style. That's what the issue is.

He was very careful with his word choices.

So I do take exception to someone who decorates themselves with all these medals and gets up there and tries to do this appeal to authority by acting like you have no right to question any of this, but they do because this is what I did. And you don't get to lecture me, but like hell, we don't get to lecture you. The fact that I pay a crap ton in taxes, I get to lecture you all day long, sweet cheeks, all day long. And if you don't like it, then I suggest you go find another line of work. That's how this works here.

You know, you don't just get to like to make these edicts, and then we all got to live with it. And furthermore, he was quite careful with his speech. It is really hard to expect the American people to take seriously any form of authority when that form of authority constantly lies to them, constantly misrepresents things, tries to obfuscate, completely just omits facts so that they can better suit their narrative. Hexeth was very careful in what he said. I don't care if you like him or not, that's irrelevant.

If you're not open-minded enough to realize that he was talking about, yeah, I'm fine with women and women pilots, fine with this. But he's talking about what we're all talking about: the basic sense combat as we know it. Right? Like the bare basic combat of what we know. That's exactly what he's talking about.

And there are a lot of female veterans, many of whom are my friends.

Some of them are very good friends.

Some of them are in my family that feel the same way. And they totally get what Hexeth was talking about. But of course, you know, you got the DEI guy. Up there on the stage saying, No, that's not what I was talking about. I was talking to us as no.

You don't lecture me. I'll exercise you, Launchbox, especially when you're misrepresenting it. This is misrepresentation. And then you wonder why the American people don't trust positions of authority, why we don't trust government agencies. Because you got these people in the upper echelon telling you that what you heard, you didn't hear, and here's in fact what you said.

Well what he said. And if you don't know, guess what? We have this amazing thing called the internet. You can go and listen to him talk about it. He's talked about it six ways to Sunday.

I don't know why he's got to keep repeating it.

Well, he does because these people keep lying about it. They keep lying about it.

So they're trying to claim that he was. No, he was talking about all women, not just in combat. They're trying to make it out like all women serving. And he's very specific. Words have meaning.

So starting with, let me pull this up. Bear with me. This, oh, this is gross. Let's do this one. Passengers duct taped a man who tried to open a door during a flight.

Like, I'm immediately thinking, did they duct tape him to the wall of like the cabin? Like, you see some people with their toddlers? I don't know.

A group of passengers sprung into action. This was a trip to Dallas Tuesday morning. They stopped a guy who was trying to open the cabin door mid-flight. During a trip to Dallas, it was an American Airlines flight from Milwaukee, and it was a Canadian national. He allegedly approached a flight attendant, asked to open the cabin door while they were in flight.

He grew more agitated when he was denied. He got arrested at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. And they rushed to assist the flight attendant. And they taped her. I'm going to just tell you: if this were to happen on a flight where I am, I will go right up to the line of killing you.

Not kidding. Like, I, I feel like, oh my gosh, I feel like that key and peel segment. Where the guy's on the flight just trying to enjoy his flight, and Key and Peel are like, if any tears want to get froggy up in here, we're ready to drack that out. It was so great.

So that's that's I saw that and I actually understood them and I was like, I feel you. All right, moving on. Uh let's see. Oh, there's a state-of-the-art vacuum-powered trash system in Harlem. How many people are gonna get f Full up into that.

Yeah, it's a public housing building in the country that's using pneumatic technology. And you put the trash in a high-powered system and it shoots it. I use this suction to shoot trash from 115 chutes. It actually sounds kind of neat. And they have entry points to deliver bags to their proper dumpsters.

That's actually really kind of cool. I'm not gonna lie, it looks like a hamster house. But it looks kind of cool. Hope it works. It is harmless.

Yes, people are totally going to get, oh man, they're going to find bodies in that. Come on, let's be real, it's going to happen. And a scientist teach rats to drive tiny cars.

Somebody paid for this. And then they discovered that the rodents enjoy revving the engines. This literally was probably paid for by taxpayers. This is one of the things that, you know, I don't know why they feel like, well, let's study if they put the rats in these little pokemobile cars. And the rats really like driving their vehicles and they have intense motivation to drive.

They said they like to lever the engine and they rev it up. And yeah, they they love driving their cars. Really? Really? Coming up.

Very, and I really like Brendan Carr because he is a no-nonsense, straight no-chaser kind of guy. He gets it, he gets digital because a lot of the people that talk about digital and broadcast, and there's like there's you can tell that there's certain things that they don't understand.

He gets it. And he really, really appreciates free speech, which we appreciate him appreciating. He joins us now via Skype. And Brendan Carr, always a pleasure. And congratulations again.

It is well deserved. And we are so glad to have you back as the head commissioner, the commissioner of the FCC. Yeah, thanks so much, Dana. Great to be with you. I mean, look, the last Couple of years.

We've done a lot of hits together. It's been a lot of bad news usually, and it is really, really heartening to join you on the back end of some really great news, I think, for the country. We're going to get this thing. Turned around. There's so much going on we can get into on media bias, on tech censorship.

There's so much we can do on unleashing economic opportunity. And the truth is, President Trump. And his administration did this once before, and we're going to do it again. And it's a very, very exciting time. Yeah.

And as you mentioned, there's a lot of stuff to deal with and a lot of things that's going to have to be immediately remedied right when the new administration takes office in January. What is your first priority when you go into this new year, into this new administration? What are you going to first tackle? Yeah, well, step one for me is to get together with the president's team, and he's got a great team in place now. They're adding to it already, and I want to make sure at the outset.

that I understand 100%. What the president's agenda is, he wants to get done. Right now, he's putting cabinet secretaries in place. And the president is the one that was elected, his administration should be delivering. On his policies.

For my part, the ideas that I'll bring to the table for those discussions is, first and foremost, tech censorship. We've been living through an unprecedented surge in censorship the last couple of years. I've described it as a censorship cartel. There's many, many actors that are involved there, and there's a role for the FCC to play. The second is media.

Jeff Bezos himself just did an op-ed where he said, Trust in journalists and in the media business in general is at an all-time low. He said that something has to change there. I think he's right. I think the FCC can be supportive as the legacy media tries to make a shift and regain some. Trust and then, third, it's just unleashing economic opportunity.

We need to get going on permitting reform, we need to free up more spectrum, and critically. We have to unleash America's space economy. Rather than chapping at Elon Musk and Starlink, and hopefully soon Amazon's Project Kuiper, let's let those guys go. It's great for the country. We've got a chance to build again, and some really good things are going to happen.

And that's exciting. I know you were there at Starbase, and you got to watch. That historic moment, the rock, or the yeah, the rocket, which was crazy. I was, I mean, just to watch how the ease that this thing lands, and you got a front row view of it, that was pretty amazing. And that's, you know, we have that capability with our technology.

The crazy thing is, is the thing that's hampering us as it relates to, you know, communications, you know, information distribution, as you and I have talked about many times, is the overwhelming bias and the suppression of diverse viewpoints. I know that you've been, you were addressing the 60 minutes editing of the Kamala Harris interview, which was really. That was so incredibly irresponsible. I went to J school. You know, I know what you're supposed to do and what you're not supposed to do.

There's a difference between being in commentary and op-ed and this. And could this affect, and you kind of talked about this, the Paramount Skydance merger? How does what they did with 60 Minutes factor into when you're looking at this merger and you're making a decision, how do you take that into consideration? Yeah, it can affect it.

So, as you indicated, there is already a news distortion complaint that's been filed at the FCC. On this precise issue of the editing of this transcript, my sense is that it's very likely. That issue and that complaint will be part of the FCC's review. As you indicated, in order for this transaction to take place, CBS needs FCC approval. To make this transaction, we have to find that it's in the public interest.

And I think that will be likely part of the discussion. A lot of people have focused on the fact that broadcasters have these licenses, and up to now, Everyone has treated them like they're some sort of sacred cows. The reality is a broadcast license is not a sacred cow. You have an obligation to operate in the public interest. The FCC hasn't really taken any action on that front in a very long time.

But I think we need to reinvigorate that. I think that'd be a good thing. Yeah, it's wild that they go after Elon Musk and they try to act as though him trying to peel back the layers, the algorithmic censorship is somehow bad. But this is good and this is acceptable. And that's the other thing that you've been looking at was the collusion with these tech agencies, with the federal government.

Is there any accountability to be had there? Or are we just going to focus on going forward and making sure it doesn't happen again? Because there are some people who want a reckoning with all of that. Hmm. I hope there is some accountability here.

For my part, when I think about what I call the censorship cartel, it's got a number of components. First of all, it's just social media companies acting on their own, deciding to censor Americans. That's not good in my view. Second, you had the Biden-Harris administration pressuring them to censor. Third, yet this whole industry of so-called back checkers that are really just In the main left-wing narrative checkers, you've got four of these ad agencies and marketing agencies that are coordinating boycotts.

You've got governments like Europe. I did an initial letter just about a week ago to one component of this, this entity called NewsGuard, that holds itself out as the arbiter of internet truth. And you know, they have on their board of advisors one of the people that signed the Hunter Biden is Russia disinformation. Letter that itself spawned a lot of misinformation down the road. And so.

Companies only get these special we call Section 230 protections. if they engage as relevant here in good faith conduct and is relying on something like NewsGuard, really good faith. I don't know.

So I think people that are continuing to do that are putting Their Section 230 liability. Pretty seriously at risk. There's a lot the FCC can do on these issues. Yeah, that's a really good point. We're talking to Brendan Carr with the FCC.

You know, we were just talking just a minute ago about the 60 Minutes thing and Paramount Skydance. I noticed that MSNBC or Comcast rather, they're restructuring everything that they're doing. And it almost seems like it was in response to the election and to you now being the head of the commission. And then, of course, everything that they watched happen with 60 Minutes and this whole thing with Paramount and their merger. Does that, I'm just curious as to your thoughts on that because it looks like they're trying to do like a spin-off and they're separating their cable programming from everything else that they're doing so that they can, I guess, get in a better position for some deal making.

What are your thoughts? Yeah, I saw, I obviously seen that. I have some familiarity with it. I'm not sure if that's a response to the election or not. I do know that there's been some media outlets that have said, put me in the FCC apart, that they've reached the conclusion that just as a business matter, the status quo isn't working and they're realizing they need to do something different.

I mean, this was really the podcast election. Legacy media is sort of declining in influence. And I think they're rightly doing a little bit of reflection right now about how do they stay relevant in the conversation. I hope they do. Because having a broadcast license is a special privilege.

It comes with certain obligations. We need a robust. News media industry, not just conservative, not just liberal. We need people being curious and asking questions. And I don't think we've been there.

So I do hope they continue to have these discussions about the best way forward, the best way to serve the public interest, which is the standard under the Communications Act. Yeah, one of the things that Doge, the Department of Government Efficiency with Musk and Ramaswamy, they've said that they're looking at everything, cutting the budget from a number of different issues to maybe even the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which, of course, that was one of the first entities that came out and said, oh, the Hunter Biden laptop, that's just an irrelevant story. We're not going to report on that. Of course, after all the information came out, they said they didn't want to touch it. They said that that could be something that could come up in terms of cutting costs because it's a lot of money that goes to it and it is very clearly biased.

Yeah, this is something that people have expressed a lot of concern about over the years. And in the main, the funding, for instance, of that likely is a decision for. Congress, but I understand the frustration from people that feel like, why are they being compelled by the government to subsidize? Speech that they don't want to align themselves with. Other ideas that I've seen that's been floated recently is whether the FCC should ban advertisements on broadcast for big pharma products.

There's some precedent for that.

So back in 1970, President Nixon Signed a law that prohibited cigarette advertising. The FCC has been enforcing that.

So, on that big pharma advertising idea, my initial gut is we need a two-step like that, which is whether it's either HHS maybe makes a decision or Congress makes a decision, but then the FCC could come. Behind it and take some action as well.

So, that is a possibility because I know that's one thing that the incoming, well, the nominee for HHS had said, and other people beyond RFK Jr. talking about those big pharma ads on TV. Because you bring that up, and that is interesting now, because you don't see any of these other ads for like cigarettes or liquor or things like that on broadcast, but you see, I mean, big pharma is almost all of it. And there's a lot of questions about that that arose during the pandemic.

So, that is, you think that that is at least a very high likelihood that that's something you're examining? Yeah, again, I think it probably requires that two-step where Congress passes a law or maybe HHS can do it, but there is precedent where that happens and the FCC enforces it. You know, look, my own personal opinion, I think, I think we're just way, way too over-medicated as a country. It's an odd situation. We're both sort of in a worse spot than ever before in terms of mental health, and yet somehow are having more pharma ads than ever before.

So something's not lining up. I mean, look, maybe if I need to figure out how to throw a tight spiral through a rope swing or figure out a good location to put a hot tub over a cliff, then maybe those big pharma ads would come in handy. But otherwise, I'm very open-minded. There you go.

Well, we're so excited about this. And like we said, I mean, congratulations. It's so well deserved. You are such a refreshing voice of reason and consistency. And I mean, that's like an early Christmas present.

The fact that we're one of the very few government officials that we get very excited about and we actually like.

So the DA, Alvin Bragg, his assistant got robbed, audio zone by 10 by a Venezuelan gang member. Oh no. A smiling Brandon Somosa being led out of the Midtown South Precinct on West 35th Street this morning. Police say at about 2 a.m. Sunday, he robbed a 38-year-old woman in the hallway of her Hell's Kitchen apartment building.

He allegedly grabbed her purse, cell phone, and bank cards and also performed a lewd act. The victim is a Manhattan assistant DA. She was not. Wow.

So That seems like that could have been prevented, Kane. That's an example of policies that you support biting you in the rear end. Yeah, literally, in some instances. All right, today in stupidity.

Now that the ICC has issued warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister Joav Galland, Canadian law enforcement is obligated to arrest them should they come to Canada. Will you allow that to happen or will you step in to prevent an arrest? We are one of the founding members of the International Court. He basically found criminal court. Oh, there it is.
