The Manhattan District Attorney's office, backed by George Soros, is pursuing a highly questionable indictment against former President Trump, attempting to elevate a misdemeanor charge to a felony by claiming it was done in conjunction with another crime. This move has sparked debate about the unequal application of the law, with many pointing out that other prominent Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden, have been given lenient treatment for similar offenses. Meanwhile, the Biden administration is pushing for a change to the census that would allow for reparations to be paid to descendants of slaves, a move that has been met with criticism for its potential to create division and favor one group over others.

If you're a regular listener, then you've heard me talk about Keltech and all the reasons why they're one of my personal favorites when it comes to firearms. Privately owned family company, Keltech has been making one-of-a-kind American-made firearms since 1995. Driven by creativity, Keltech doesn't just copy other weapons on the market, they innovate new ones, including the new P50. The P50 platform is based around a 50-round double-stack magazine which lays horizontally along the top of the grip. The 5.7 cartridge comes in several variants from sporting, hunting, to personal defense, and with how easy it handles, it's smooth shooting because it's well balanced and thus accurate.

You can definitely see Keltech's reliability and quality at work. The P50 is fun on the range, but it's also great for serious home protection. To find out more about the P50 and all other Keltech weapons and products, check out KeltechWeapons.com. That's K-E-L-T-E-C weapons.com. Keltech, creating innovative quality firearms to help secure your world.

Keltechweapons.com. Mr. President, do you think that the charges against Trump are politically motivated? I know Congress. The floor.

I'm telling you what. Uh well that was an interesting news evening. To put it lightly. Uh the news yesterday that They announced finally that they were going to indict. I'm going to break all of this down for you.

This is just wild. Welcome to the show. Happy Friday. Dana Lash here with you. And I've got a lot of stuff.

to go over with you. Part of this is I'm going to explain The nature of the charges that Alvin Bragg thinks he has.

Now, Eddie McCarthy was on with us before and he was talking about this. If you are a subscriber to the newsletter. There were a couple of things in there that came out yesterday that were about all of that. There's some stuff also in the prep email for subscribers that came out that gets into some of that. And I'm going to explain it today too.

We're gonna get into all of that. It's just a lot to dive into, but I don't want you to feel like we're kind of in the weeds or anything. But I wanna make sure also that. you understand how ridiculous All of this really kind of is, you know, just to be frank about it.

So we're going to do, we're going to get into that. We're also going to look at like the timeline, like when to expect what, et cetera, et cetera. Like what, you know, what are we, what are we going to expect possibly? We're going to get into all of that too.

So, and then we have a bunch of foreign policy stuff because, as I was saying, you know, I remarked about this. on social media, I'm like, don't let them bait you. Because They that's that's ultimately what they want to do. They don't want you to watch. What they're doing with the other hand.

So we're going to get into all of that. All right, first and foremost. Can we just deep dive on these charges, this indictment?

So he's, I know there's a lot of confusion about it. And I want to make sure that I break it down for you. This was essential.

Now, I also want to put the caveat, this is what makes it even more confusing. The indictment is sealed, so we're guessing. No one actually knows. The grand jury deliberate the grand jury, that was all done uh I mean the grand jury, that was all secret. And that's typical with grand juries when they get together and they debate evidence, et cetera.

The deliberations of the Uh Um Alvin Bragg? The DA there His deliberations were behind closed doors.

So we really don't know. What The indictment says we're guessing. By nature of Michael Cohen going at Michael Cohen, like, can't shut up.

So he's, you know. He's in there running his mouth, talking about everything.

So, we get a lot of insight from him running his mouth, the Stormy Daniel stuff.

So, I mean, we know basically it's related to that. Let's break this down. When Andy McCarthy was on with us and he had a really good explainer And I want to reiterate because this looks like what is most likely.

So The situation with The charges. Remember, federal prosecutors And this is in the southern district of Manhattan, federal prosecutors. didn't want to didn't want to pursue this case because they this is a misdemeanor. What they're trying to the initial charge is that of a misdemeanor. They're trying to say that, oh, well, he messed up with the books, the payment to Stormy Daniels, all this other stuff.

That's a misdemeanor charge. But the problem with this is that Even if it's beyond the two-year-old, Statute of limitations. For that charge.

So you have exp an expired misdemeanor. And How in the world do you? You can't go and bring it back to life. There's a lot of illegalese and wizardry that he's trying to. invoke in order to Statecraft A federal elections charge into what is a state charge.

And this is really ultimately the only, this is why everyone thinks it's this, because this is the only tricky would have. He's trying to argue. That Because this payment 'Cause apparently Trump was paying back Michael Cohen what, like in I think the ac accusation was in 2017 or something like that. And so as a result of that, That makes it beneficial to his campaign. And so.

Piggybacking on the misdemeanor, he can take a federal charge and he's like trying to modify it to make it a state case. This is why, previously, this is why I said other federal prosecutors have rejected this. They've rejected it because it's absolutely stupid. It's bonkers. Absolutely bonkers.

I made a note in one of the posts that came out. you know Because they I mean assuming all everything that's been reported about it is true. The sealed the indictment sealed, but this is really the only thing that he would have to do. I mean again, there's a reason federal prosecutors declined to pursue this as a felony. It's a misdemeanor that was nullified by New York's two-year statute of limitations.

And so They're Trying to, Bragg is trying to take that federal elections law because he's saying that the payment violated federal elections law, and he's trying to elevate this. into a felony and then Take it to new so he's essentially, yes, you're right. He's rewriting. Federal election law with the charge. And he's arguing He has to prove in court that Trump knew.

about the falsified business records for the misdemeanor and then was using that But to hide the other crime. Which is You know, the whole election.

Now, look. Taking everything else aside, and I'm looking at this very clinically. The reason that there was an NDA, I'm assuming, if I'm looking at this, the reason that there was an NDA and the reason that there was all this secretty-secretty stuff is because Trump didn't want Melania to find out. I mean You're you're telling your allegedly side piece to shut up, right? It's kind of how this works, right?

It's how it's working. You're telling your side piece to shut up. Paying off, got an N D A. And That signals that he was trying to You know, save his marriage from falling apart as opposed to benefiting his campaign because all this stuff happened before his campaign. You see where I'm going?

This whole This is a lot that Bragg has to prove in court. A lot. Ah so So that's the nature, kind of, and we're going to talk a little bit about that, but I want to go through and not spend too much time because I know there's a ton of other things in this to hit.

So that is the that's That's number one.

So, those are the natures of the nature of the charges. I mean, assuming. I mean, again, I feel like I hate speculating, but we don't know because it's sealed.

So that's number one. Number two, we're not the only ones that are going, what? Because even the editorial board over at the Washington Post, I was reading this this morning, they called it a zombie case. That's what they called it. They said it's a zombie case.

They said it's a poor test case for prosecuting a former president because this makes it, I think, the last time that a president ever got in trouble. was Was it Teddy Roosevelt? Was it Teddy Roosevelt? He got in trouble for riding a horse too fast or something like that? Oh, I do remember that.

Something like that.

So Yeah, they said it was a zombie case. This is what Wapo editorial board says: quote: Thursday's events are the result of the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's decision early in his tenure to abandon a probe centered on the former president's business practices in favor of what had become to known as the zombie case. The matter of $130,000 payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence about an affair that she claims she had with Trump about a decade earlier. He denies the affair. Michael Cohen said he wrote the check.

He was kind of the fixer for Trump for a long time. He pled guilty to crimes related to the payment in 2018.

Now, the precise charges are not known, but prosecutors are apparently going after him for covering up his reimbursements for the favor.

So, and that's Trump. Falsifying records in this way is a misdemeanor in New York. But if it was done to cover up another crime, it can turn into a felony.

So that's the thing I want to be, and they're even saying that this is dumb.

So, if you take that misdemeanor and you're what they're, and if you're doing this and you're covering something else up, then they can try to elevate it to a felony, but you have to prove that in a court of law, which, how in the hell do you that's so stupid? And the argument is that, well, and this is the assumed argument from Bragg, that it's hush money, you know, and that it was so close to him announcing for president. But the Washington Post also says pyramiding two transgressions of state rules to go after a federal candidate is legally plausible, but it's a novel strategy. And courts may regard it with skepticism. They said, What's more, a potential campaign finance charge, the charge itself is shaky.

When federal prosecutors charge former Senator John Edwards, remember, Quick flashback, remember when we talked about bunny money? That's what I'm hitting at. Wapo says, When federal prosecutors charged former Senator John Edwards with a similar crime following his 08 presidential run, he rebutted the accusation by arguing he was trying to disguise his faithlessness from his wife rather than from the voting public. That ended in acquittal on one count, hung jury on the others. DOJ dropped the charges.

So it Breaches the campaign finance law. They're saying yes. Washington Post says yes. You know, that you know, that's a law, et cetera, that's a misdemeanor. But what they're arguing here is that.

This is because Alvin Bragg had repeatedly refused to pursue and prosecute this case. They're saying that he was pressured politically, which he was. They're saying that it's a shaky case. And they're saying that the prosecution, if it's not airtight, he needs to stay his hand and stop. Because they're saying that this is it's actually kind of a joke and it is.

I mean, it it's It's just wild.

Now here's what I want you to consider. You're being baited. Oh my gosh, I've never you guys are ba we're it's you're being baited so hardcore. You are being baited to engage in a summer of violence. You are being baited?

Into engaging in what they want, they need in order for them. And I'm going to explain all of this. We're going to go on a different route for the show today. They need you to. to turn into the rights version of Antifa.

Because they have been doing so poorly and they are so terrified. Really, because they're losing minority voters. They're losing women voters. They're in a very difficult spot. We have a shaky for, I mean, the economy is going to get worse.

They need this from you. They need this both as a distraction to flex for their base. And they also want to tire out Republican voters. And they really need to flip the public perception with independents and swing voters of how their party is viewed. to them being of one of law and order and you not.

You're being baited into making this happen. This is why, when I saw Marjorie Taylor Greene say that she was going to go, because apparently the arraignment's going to be on Tuesday. And we're going to get into Everybody else's response is DeSantis' response. DeSantis' response was an old Wes response. I Swear to the sky I saw Tumbleweed blow past my phone when I read that thing.

Heard some spaghetti western music in the background. Damn. That was an old West. That was a West response. That's a cowboy thing.

We're going to talk about the responses. We're also going to talk about the states' rights issue because there were a lot of people wondering whether or not what if you just stayed in Mar-a-Lago, the extradition. But Marjorie Taylor Greene saying she's going up there Tuesday for the arraignment because apparently he's going to go in. I think they do a photo, but the fingerprints and everything else, Secret Service is always in control. He will not be in handcuffs.

It's not going to happen because Secret Service is not going to let it happen. They will not allow that to happen. And I don't think, and police aren't going to do that anyway. Even though this is completely a brand new thing to everybody, he's in Secret Service protection as former president.

So, apparently, it's going to happen on Tuesday in New York. Marjorie Taylor Greene said that she was going to go up there. I don't know why. I don't dislike her. I mean, I just don't think that that's going to help.

She says you have to protest. I think we all need to be really careful, folks. You're being baited so badly. And I'm going to tell you, explain later on what's going to happen, what that looks like. Also, we're going to dive into the three-pronged offense against America, of which this.

Complete Dissolution of law and order is part. I'm going to explain to you the three-pronged defense against America. We're going to talk about what this means for 2024, the responses of everyone else, and we're going to deep dive into a little bit of Bragg's machinations here.

So we've got a lot to hit as we move. As colleges and universities across the country hold their graduations, I'd like to highlight a place where students receive the best classical liberal arts education in America. And when these students graduate, they've studied the great books, the history of Western civilization and of America, and the meaning and history of the Constitution. Can you guess who I'm talking about? I'm talking about Hillsdale College.

Hillsdale was founded in 1844 to offer the kind of education needed to preserve civil and religious liberty and holds true to that mission while refusing to accept one penny of taxpayer funding, not even indirectly, in the form of student grants and loans. Hillsdale students also abide by an honor code, which ensures a unity of purpose and fosters lively, civil, and intelligent debate. See for yourself. and learn from Hillsdale for free through their influential speech digest in Primus and by taking online courses on American history, the Constitution, and other subjects. So, immigration into the biggest U.S. counties tripled last year from pandemic lows, but many continued to shrink as residents fled to the burbs and birth rates remained low nationwide. Los Angeles County, surprise, surprise, lost the most population in 2022, decreasing by over 90,000 residents. Maricopa County and Arizona gained the most, however, adding over almost 57,000 more residents. In large cities, a rebound in international immigration drove much of the gains, and this was measured between July 2021 through July 2022.

And it looks as though about roughly 300,000 new residents between that in that time period in the nation's 20 largest counties.

So that's pretty significant. A World War II veteran, this makes my blood boil. A World War II veteran who was 101 years old died of a broken neck after a Las Vegas woman who was being chased by cops crashed into the car he was sitting in. She was going 80 miles per hour. This is horrific.

Dr. Herbert Muskin was sitting in a stopped vehicle in Henderson, Las Vegas. The 101-year-old World War II veteran died Thursday. After a suspect vehicle traveling over 80 miles an hour crashed right into his car, it sent his car, which contained him and his wife, 89-year-old Sherry, into a pole on the opposite side of the intersection. He got a broken neck.

His wife experienced bruising. After a month of care, he passed away at an area hospital, and it was all related to this wreck. Drag this broad. Also, the Gwyneth Paltrow won her case, and I have to say, let this be a lesson to all people who want to engage into silly litigation and try to flex. This guy was humiliated in court, and he has to pay our lawyer's fees now.

Good Ranchers, American Meat Delivered. Listen to the Dana Show live on the Odyssey app, weekdays noon to 3 p.m. Eastern Time. The Florida governor, if Trump decides that he's not going to turn himself in, that he's going to stay in Florida and come and get me. Florida's not going to allow.

That process to go forward because it's a former president, because it's Donald Trump.

Well, that could break us. Oh, for the love. I mean Indicting a president, indicting a politician is a normal thing in this country. Trying to say the legal system no longer applies in this country if you try to apply it to the system. This is the legal system applying, you moron.

That is something that can break the rule of law in this country. Don't sit here and cry. Oh, if anything, I'm not a bad shot at Fort Sumter today. Oh my gosh, she did not go full on Fort Sumter.

Okay, guys. Oh, first off. Welcome back. Your lovable curmudgeon, Dana Lash, here with you. We're going to get through this day together.

So First off, I need everyone to chill the. heck out. Particularly Rachel Maddow. And I played that for a reason. I don't, it's like the first time ever I came into a segment with that broad talking, but I can't, you know, I'm just saying.

Here's my issue. I think her rhetoric is entirely over the top. It's the shot at it's the first shot at Fort Sumter. This is ridiculous. Number one.

Number two. She's talking about following the rule of law, DeSantis reacting That is the rule of law, also. You can't, just because you dislike it doesn't mean it's outside of the purview of law.

So here's the thing: DeSanta said. In his statement. Because he responded to this. And I thought, ooh. He had uh they released a statement out.

Saying that He kinda threw a big old wrench in all this. In the Bragg's indictment. Because there was a lot of questions of extradition. He said, quote, the weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It's un-American.

The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and excuse criminal misconduct. And he went on, this is all this is all absolutely true. He says That Yet now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with a Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political Agenda.

Now we all kind of, and everyone's like, well, you don't know what the, this is why I said the indictment was sealed because everyone was going at DeSantis and all the left was all mad at DeSantis yesterday. They're like, you don't even know what the indictment says. Yeah, but we kind of have a good idea. Do you know how we have a good idea? Because what's his face, Michael.

Cohen won't shut up. And Bragg's office leaks like a sieve, so yeah, we kinda know. I mean, I say allegedly, just to have a little bit of plausible deniability, but if I was a betting person, you guys. We'd all be staying at the penthouse in Vegas. What?

We'd be beating the house. Just saying.

So they threw a wrench in that and it made the left livid. And This It is a weaponization. I mean, I know Trump was Pointing to Hillary Clinton.

Now, remember. I think we mentioned this as a headline yesterday. Hillary Clinton had gotten a penalty for the Perkins CUI, the fact that she used Fusion GPS to conduct OPPO research, that was the Steele dossier. And that was used as the basis to get the FISA warrant, and it was completely discredited. The FBI wouldn't even validate it, but they still used it as a way to get a surveillance warrant.

And she had falsely labeled those as legal services, but it was actually campaign. Like she was opo stuff, and that's all. I mean, she was fined $113,000 for misrepresentation. The Stormy Daniels payment was what, $130,000? This is a hundred and she was fined a hundred and thirteen thousand, and that was pursued as a misdemeanor.

Now imagine, just let me put this and then I'm gonna get to the DeSantis thing. Imagine if that particular if Clinton's case, if the tables were reversed and she was the Republican and Bragg wanted to get her, he would absolutely he would That would be like he would be using that as a way, and even then it would be wrong. He would be trying to rewrite federal election law. and recraft a federal law into something that he can prosecute within the state. But The bunny money with John Edwards was 110 frillion times even beyond what all these accusations are.

So the DeSantis case Or the DeSantis response, I should say, to in this case. He says that there we're not gonna we're just not going to uh We're not gonna pr uh how do you say, cooperate. Yeah, we're not going to assist. That was the Old Cowboy Western spaghetti, spaghetti western theme right there. And a tumbleweed blows.

That's the guy walking in with the spurs clicking in in the middle of the Dirt Main Street at high noon, saying I'm your Huckleberry, come try me Because he does know the law. He's a lawyer, so he doesn't know the law. And I thought that was kind of interesting. Notice how everyone got real real quiet about that and they they were they were raging against him like he's not he and he can't do anything and he's not gonna and then he does this.

So that would actually make for an amazing Uh Court battle. States rights versus the federal government. Because see him responding in that way. and using his authority As an overwhelmingly elected governor of Florida.

Well, that also, Rachel Maddow, that's also that's also Part of law and order. I also can't take seriously these protests of, well, no one's above the law. Yes, they are. I'm not even going to hear I don't I I'm not gonna have these people lecture me, and nor should you tolerate it either. I'm not gonna sit here and allow people to lecture me about law and order when you've ducked it for how many years now?

For real, how long have they ducked lawn order? You have a guy who's reduced over a quarter of the felonies. Or three-quarter, almost, I mean, really, yeah, over a quarter of the felonies in New York, he's red, he's, he's, he degraded them down to misdemeanors. I mean, this is a guy who prosecuted. Do you remember the bodega owner who.

defended himself and killed the thug that attacked him. That was Alvin Bragg pursuing charges against that guy.

So, no, not everyone is equal before the law in Alvin Bragg or any kind of Democrat prosecutor's district. That's absolutely not true. Don't sit here and tell me that everyone is equal before the law when you have Hillary Clinton who gets a wrist slap for trying to interfere in a presidential election. Don't tell me that everybody is above the law when you're using debunked OPO lying to FISA judges in order to wiretap private individuals just because of their political affiliations.

So, don't sit here and tell me that everybody's above the law when there's zero consequences that come about as a result of that. Don't sit here and tell me that there's no one above the law, everyone's equal before it. When you have Hunter Biden, who clearly. Provably lies on a federal form of 4473, which is a felony. Who dropped, who had his lover, his brother's widow, golly, is like Jerry Springer, as his brother's widow.

Steal his gun, drop it in a trash can across from the school at the very least is a misdemeanor.

Well, stole his gun in that state, I think that'd probably be a felony. Taking it without his permission, that's probably could be a felony charge. Dropping it across from a school, that could be a misdemeanor charge. I mean, nothing ever came from that.

So don't sit here and tell me that everyone is equal before the law and no one is above it. Or how that family has been enriching themselves in partnership with the Communist Party of China, degrading our national security. Uh destabilizing our energy independence. And there's no accountability.

So don't tell me that no one Is Equal before the law, no one's above it. The fact that Donald Trump is indicted before Hunter Biden Thank you.

So I don't take these people seriously. These are people who have no, they don't care about law and order. Democrats don't care about law and order. I want to explain to you. We're talking about how you're being baited.

And I think, and in the past two days, you've had trans a militant trans activist storm. two Capitol buildings. One they joined with gun control at protesters. They were in Kentucky and Tennessee. There's a three-pronged offense against America.

Here's my other concern, really quickly before I get into this. I This is going to turn into tit for tat and I don't want it to. But it will. Especially if you get somebody like me in elected office, which I'm never running. But I'm just saying, anybody with my mentality that gets into elected office, oh, yes, I'm going for a reckoning.

And that worries me. Because that's how you get a banana republic. It's not going to be the response to the initial offense. Democrats have created this mess. But there are going to be a significant number of people that are on our side that that want equal offense.

And I understand it because they feel like that's the only way that's the closest they can ever get to accountability.

So I'm not judging you because what else are you left with in this system? I understand it. I get your rage entirely. I share it. What else are you left with in this system?

But at the same time, It breaks it. The three-pronged offense against America is working. And it's coming from within. First off, you have the wokery. You have the unequal application of the law.

And then you also have the fallen influence around the world that all started from within. All of it. Case in point, with some of the wokery. And they're using all of the help of the tech that you see. They you had Joe Biden, who issued a proclamation.

For the trans Day of Visibility? Which is also simultaneously the Uh Training's Day of Vengeance. Or I guess it's what they're calling it now, I don't know. The President issued this proclamation and then he also was tweeting about it. He tweeted this morning, quote, on the transgender day visibility.

We want you to know that we see you just as you are, made in the image of God, blah, blah, blah. Everyone's made in the image of God. But if someone believes that their condition is made in the image of God, then and they think that they were put in the wrong body, God doesn't make mistakes, so that immediately nullifies that argument, then I wonder why you have to have all this extensive surgery in order to correct something you say that you were rightfully made as. Why didn't he single out Christian victims murdered by a trans domestic terrorist with a repeated special statement like this? Visibility, no one has any problem seeing any of these people.

But that's not what this means. That's stupid, meaningless language. Day of visibility, that means day of absolute visibility. You're subjugation. You're supposed to accept and go along and never question.

Someone else's reality must be yours. That's the new defined measure of quote-unquote acceptance. Tolerance is not a thing anymore. Tolerance, you started as tolerance and then it turned into acceptance. And then now, all of it is you must accept, or you're guilty of genocide, or you're guilty of murdering people.

If you do not validate someone else's self-perception, you're killing them. It's gone very, very far. All of this. All of it designed. to undermine Drive division and to undermine national unity.

Twitter Using the tech that I said that, you know, that we all use, Twitter has been deleting thousands of tweets about the planned Trans Day of Vengeance protests. And I mean, they were actually deleting tweets of criti of uh conservatives critical of it. People were telling Elon Musk, and apparently, I guess he got involved with it. You still have these people in these positions of power. All of this.

See this wokery The wokery isn't about. Trans, it's not about any of the alphabet stuff. The Wokery isn't even about race, it's not even about sex. All of this is a very easy way to describe the Marxist culture war. It's gone from Money.

to identity. Because the money wasn't working so well. It's really hard to swindle people. Out of They're hard-earned money. And Marxists have tried over the years, so now they've tried a different approach.

I've been writing about this since 2012, with Derek Bell and the introduction of CERT, critical race theory, into academic institutions all over the country. It's it's shifted from Class warfare to identity warfare. And it's working. way better than the class warfare ever did with Marxists. Coming up, we're going to talk about the unequal application of the law.

And if Trump doesn't go, to New York on Tuesday. Is it going to be a historical test of states' rights? I know Rachel Maddow is just chomping at the bit for some sort of civil conflict, which I think people need to slow their roll. Because I'll say this: allegedly, I do not want to see a civil war over alleged payments to a piece of ass. You can cut that.

Yeah. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States.

So, in last night's episode of Days of the United States, I don't know if you saw that, but we watched a very important character, the spokesperson for that very important character, discuss his coffee order. As the world comes crashing down all around him and division rises, and the entity that he is supposed to lead. You had his spokesperson, Corine Jean-Pierre, audio soundbite de. Look, you know, I think the president is able to pick out his own Starbucks.

So I'll say that. I want video proof. of this character being able to do that for real though. Does he what w I don't even know what he would order? Double quad, I don't even know what it is.

A coffee? He'll put he'll put chocolate chips in coffee. Hog gummit. I don't know. I just How I'm gonna tell you.

Oh. To that point. They also spoke. KJP also spoke quite a bit. We're going to get into this about.

The trans community. They were making so many statements. The president made how many statements did he make about the trans day of visibility? These three. Uh-huh.

You know, days of our United States, we're going to ignore the victims, the actual victims, and then we're going to do something to uplift the community whose militant activists create rhetoric that I would say. Inspire. Militant activists like the one who went and targeted the school, the Christian school. Just saying, hmm. You know what?

I mean If parents going to school boards had done even an eighth of what militant trans activists have done. The FBI and DOJ would be all over the Visibility Day or Vengeance Day or the Purge or whatever the hell they're calling it.

Now coming up. The three-pronged offense against America. The cultural warfare. the unequal application of the law. and fallen influence around the world.

China's trade deal with Brazil to ditch the dollar. is huge. Absolutely huge, and this administration is ignoring it. We've got all of this and more coming up. Second hour on the way.

What he is essentially doing in talking to his base, those who, as John put it, are still under his spell, is basically take up arms against our government, state and local. And particularly after January 6th, Mr. Trump ought to know the consequences of this kind of rhetoric. Jay Johnson is an absolute clown. And let's say that was speaking just then, former DHS.

Welcome. Back to the program. Dana Lash here with you. Top of this second hour, and we've been going over the weird. The whole thing is weird.

It's just all weird. The weird charges Alvin Bragg trying to take. uh a an expired misdemeanor And Try to rewrite federal election law. By claiming He can elevate it to a felony. Because Donald Trump, and this is what we're assuming from everything that Cohen has said, from what Bragg's office has leaked in the sealed indictment.

That that somehow Trump committed a more egregious offense. He was in this in conjunction with another criminal activity of trying to boost his campaign on the down low. And so that's what elevates this to a felony. Except it's like, first off, that's so egregiously not even applicable. Number two, this is an expired misdemeanor.

Number three, this isn't like John Redwards' case, and it's not like Hillary Clinton's case. I mean, it's like not even comparable to these other cases. This is just, I mean, when you even have Politico going, yeah, it's kind of a witch hunt. I mean, they don't care that it is. The only reason they're saying it is because they want to kind of warn other, they want to warn Democrats.

that it kind of might look bad on us. If you don't because if this fails on Alvin Bragg's part, He'll be challenged by other state Democrats. Remember, he and Letitia James were going back and forth. uh with stuff. They both have their own they're in different Democrat camps.

So, a lot of palace intrigue there, but he was prep, he didn't want to do it, and then now he's doing it.

So It is uh Someone made the point that and I first off, welcome back to the program. Like I said, Dana Lash, top of our second hour.

Someone made the point that this is very similar to the Al Capone case. And I it is. It's like you can't get them on anything else and then they'll go after tax. They'll go after tax charges. Uh Except there was like some actual evidence there, and you didn't have to really inflate a whole heck of a lot, but still.

This is And it's also unusual because there's tax evasion cases constantly. But And this is just so bizarre. And it really is. Very Different from any, I mean, even the bunny money with John Edwards, the way that they are trying, the way that they are trying to prosecute this case. There's in fact There hasn't been any kind of legal eagle out there that is able to point.

to any other case. where you've had such shaky evidence and you were able to elevate it to that of a felony level. There isn't. I mean, this is a weird. But this is the new this is the left.

The left doesn't realize that they are the ones that create their own. consternation, for the lack of a better way to put it. I mean, this is this goes. I mean, they made up the Russian collusion stuff. They were the ones actually guilty.

I mean, Hillary Clinton very, very quietly paid her fine for lying. About spending all of this money on opposition research to Fusion GPS when she said that it was legal expenses, but she wasn't s she didn't tell them that it was campaign expenses. She was buying this what she thought was oppo material. And you've you That was a complete violation of American Trust. No accountability really there.

That little fine paid. They tried this with the Russian collusion stuff. They've tried it with. I mean, how many times have we gone through this whole thing? How many times?

It's And then you have They keep going back to, like as Jay Johnson was sitting here, January 6th. You know what? The only people that are talking about this are people like Rachel Maddow who says, well, if Ron DeSantis stands in the way, it's going to be like the first shot at Fort Sumter. Are just crazy. Or they say things like the Trans Day of Vengeance on Saturday, or any of this other stuff.

I mean, you've had leftists that stormed two different capitals just this week alone in Kentucky and Tennessee. You've had a leftist that targeted a Christian school and killed six people. These people are never, the left never wants to be accountable. And they, I mean, I wrote a piece about it last week. or earlier this week, The left really it's almost as though they feel as if Any kind of extreme action is justified because their offense is greater than anyone else's.

This is it's just it's just This is the breakdown of law and order, and this is one of the three-pronged offenses against America. You know, when people sit here and say the Soros back, George Soros, I've been talking about George Soros for, golly, I don't even know how long. He founded and funded Media Matters, which is still the written attack dog for the Democrat Party. And George Soros, he funds, he donates all of his, donates tons of money through the Tides Foundation and through all of these little nonprofits. These people act like, you know, this is a hidden secret, but all these 990s, everything else is public.

All of this is public information. And the media just tries a very lazy, well, shut up and don't talk about it by accusing you of being anti-Semitic because George Soros is Jewish. That has nothing to do with it. My friend Charles Cook said it's the same thing as saying that he's that you're anti-immigrant if you disagree with him on a point. That is completely irrelevant.

And aside to the point, that everything that George Soros is being accused of in terms of funding, whether it's far-left publications that try to get conservatives canceled on television and radio and in culture, or whether it's backing the rod of restorative justice by putting up and completely funding the campaigns of these far-left prosecutors, all of this is exactly 1,000% correct, and there's receipts galore.

So, you don't get to say, no, you can't talk about that because he's Jewish. We're not doing that. This is where the appeal to identity goes. As though you that people aren't off limits because of of of They're they're completely within the bounds. of the game by what they do.

But they just want you to shut up.

So they wanna it's one of the worst Worst, most absent morally unethical things that I've ever seen. It's like me accusing people of being sexist simply because they disagree with me. What does my sex have to do with it? What does me being a woman have to do with my opinion? You either disagree with my opinion or you don't.

Me being a woman has nothing to do with it, but that's not how the left views it. If it's George Soros. Oh, you can't disagree with him 'cause he's Jewish. That has nothing to do with it. But that's what they say.

That's their dog whistle over and over again. It's this unequal application of the law. Like, think about this. This um Like I said, the very quiet settling, the Clinton campaign and the Democrat National Committee, they agreed to this funding fine. The Associated Press first reported that they agreed to pay six figures to settle an FEC investigation into whether or not they violated campaign finance law by misreporting spending on research that became the infamous Deal dossier.

The Coolidge Reagan Foundation had filed a complaint in 2018 accusing them of misreporting it, so finally they had to pay the fine. Have you heard really anything about it? No, you haven't, have you? No. You haven't.

Not a thing. Have you heard anything else about Hunter Biden? Did you know that Hunter Biden was asked to use his FBI contacts to help the Chinese business partner who'd been arrested for bribery and money laundering? And he had a mole agent who tipped him off to an investigation. Did you know that?

Did you hear about this? Emails, more emails out. Hunter Biden was asked for his FBI contacts while representing his now convicted. Chinese Communist Party partner Patrick Ho in 2017. The day Ho was arrested, an attorney working with him on the case asked for the names of the FBI agents you spoke with, to which Hunter replied, working on it.

Israeli energy expert Dr. Gal Luft had claimed that Hunter had an FBI mole who tipped off CEFC execs that they were under investigation. It is a new whistleblower claim. Hunter Biden was warning his CCP business partners. No accountability there.

Have you heard anything? Not a thing about it, have you? Yeah. Oh, but Matrump, Matrump. Over and over.

Nothing. You haven't heard a thing about it.

So Because of all of this, People Who are On the right. Maybe they're kind of on the right, maybe they're in between. And they just don't like hive mind thought. are justifiably concerned. About law and order in this country.

But this is the point. This is the point of CRT. See, it's a three-pronged approach to undermine. The strength of the United States By using this cultural Marxist cultural warfare designed. To get every to pit everyone against each other, so just sort of, for the lack of a better way to put it.

balkanize everyone in the United States. and put everybody at each other's throat. Division? Preference of one group before the other, in front of the law. All of this.

Designed to help then undermine. The app the equal application of law.

Now, even with this, we have our fallen influence around the world still. Which we're going to get into. I also want to make the point that an indictment and even a conviction doesn't prevent a candidate. from mounting A presidential run. Democrats know this.

I'm of two minds. I have two minds on this. Because I think that You need to keep in mind that primary voters are not the same thing as general voters. And this is something that Republicans really struggle with. Democrats are quite good at it.

Now this used to be opposite, but some Some time I think after Bush it got twisted. General voters are not primary voters. That's why you see a lot of Democrats run into the center on stuff. after their primary. Claire McCaskill was a top example of that.

Democrats know this. Part of me thinks that they're doing this to elevate Trump because he is the only candidate that polls competitively with Joe Biden. Part of me thinks that they're doing this to flex for their base. Because He has been The How do I put this? He's he's sort of um the avatar of all of the rage.

of so many people around the country. Who are tired of being Uh unseen. Discredited. unacknowledged, impugned, smeared, simply for believing in a different set of policies. And there's, and that's all of these things are true.

And I think that Democrats, I don't think that they're this smart to be this Machiavellian. But If I were a Democrat, And I wanted to Tank, who I saw was one of the frontrunners. I would wear out the general voters. patience with a non-stop barrage. Of a non-stop, because apparently there might be more indictments coming, all kinds of stuff.

I would wear them down. But then at the same time, I think that Democrats don't want to do that. Because there are other challengers that are not competitive with Biden because Biden simply can't compete with them. But this is also a symptom of not having a clear. Democrat leader.

So, all of these things are true, and I think that their strategy is really muddled right now. I don't think this is going to go the way anyone thinks it will. I don't think anyone on the right is going to be able to predict how this goes and I don't think anyone on the left will either. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five.

I just want to make everyone aware that the weather is also talking about the Trans Day of Visibility. They said that to promote justice, equality, and equity for the transgender community, the National Weather Therapist family champions and stands alongside our transgender employees. And as to just to touch on what Steve said, the only time I think that this would ever have anything to do with the weather is shrinkage. Moving on, I didn't say that these guys did, but they won't tell you what they said because they're chicken. America's Adderall explosion.

This? I had no idea this was happening. How many people are using Adderall?

So use of Adderall amongst women in their 20s shot up by a fifth during coronavirus and one in 10 teenage boys. One in ten. Say that they were prescribed it, they were prescribed this stimulant. Prescriptions for ADHD medications shot up from 20 to 21, particularly during the pandemic.

So, yeah, 10% of all teen boys are on meds. Women, it's up to 20%. 41 million Americans have a prescription for Adderall. And weren't there shortages of this? Cause I read somewhere along with this, because I was looking at a secondary source, and people were saying that there were shortages.

That is. Just insane. I just can't, I'm really shocked.

Now, get this: remember the Las Vegas massacre? Very quietly, the FBI documents have given a new view into this murderer's mindset. He apparently was a high-stakes gambler. And he apparently also was angry over how casinos were treating him because he was a high roller, according to fellow gamblers. An FBI interview with his one friend, who was a gambler, is detailed in hundreds of pages of documents that were made public this week.

The names redacted. But the gambler said that he believed the stress could have easily caused this guy to snap because the killer was a video poker player, and gambling was his main source of income.

So, this is some insight that you've again very quietly put out, and you haven't heard. And you could make six figures as a prompter. for chat GPT. They're looking for people who can just put keywords in. No joke.

Senator Dan Crenshaw, next. Want a behind-the-scenes look at the Dana Show? Subscribe to Dana's chapter and verse newsletter for a deeper dive in all things Dana at Danalash.com. Mr. President, do you think that the charges against Trump are politically motivated?

I know Congress is not true.

Well of course he's not gonna comment on that. Why would he? That would be the dumbest thing that he could do if he did. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here with you.

You can listen coast to coast all around the country from sea to shining sea. You can also listen by streaming it, or you can watch the simulcast. Of the Nationally Syndicated Radio Program all over YouTube and Facebook or channel 347 Direct TV. And a quick note: I have no idea. I was reading a headline.

I think it involves Senator Mike Lee, and so I had Senator in my head. And I called Congressman Dan Crenshaw, who's going to be joining us in a second, Senator Crenshaw. And as I said it, As it came out of my mouth, it was one of those things where I couldn't catch the words and bring them back in. When you're on three hours a day, every day, things happen, guys. It happens.

This is the nature of the game.

So he's joining us from Sky on Skype from the Republic, the beautiful Republic of Texas. Congressman Dan Crenshaw, Texas's second congressional district. Good to see you, sir. I just wanted to get your kind of initial response. This has been the weirdest news week that I have seen in quite some time, particularly yesterday evening.

But I just kind of wanted to get your thoughts on this whole indictment thing. I mean, do you think separate from anybody's perspective on the former president? Do you think that what Alvin Bragg is doing is giving any kind of reason to anybody to trust in the system of law and order in this country? No, uh it's It's bad on a lot of fronts. Where do we even begin on this?

You know, his attempt to effectively prosecute a federal law is certainly questionable.

Now, they're providing some strange legal argument to be able to do that. We don't know exactly what the charges are yet. His connection to George Soros is obvious. This is backed by him to get elected. He campaigned on this idea.

So you've got another problem here, which I think is antithetical to American sense of justice, which is Which is that you They were looking for a crime. They chose a person and then they started looking for a crime. That's not how our justice system works. You know, you had people like Nancy Pelosi tweet out today. I just responded to her today.

She said, Mr. Trump will have the ability to go to court and prove his innocence. And I'm like, that's not how this works. You have to prove someone's guilt. You were innocent until proven guilty.

That's a really key part of our basic sense of justice. And they violate all of this.

So, you want to talk about threats to democracy? This is a threat to our democracy, our sense of democracy, our sense of justice. When we say democracy, I think we should mean our sense of justice, our sense of our republic, the trust that we have in our institutions.

So talk about true threats. Like this kind of thing is exactly that. And I think that's why it's troubling to everyone, no matter what their opinion is of Trump or his relationship with Stormy Daniels and all of that. Like there's nothing good about any of that. But this is wrong.

And what they continue to do to the former president, whether it's the Mar-a-Lago raid or this, it's just wrong. It's overreach and they know it. And it makes people wonder, well, gosh, this is someone who's in. It gets pressed attention so easily if they can't, I mean, if they can do this to someone of that. You know, recognition in the United States.

I mean, what chance does, you know, the little guy have of surviving? And I mean, I just go back to like the tea party days when the IRS was going after all these little little bitty tea party groups. I mean, some of them, you know, and I don't say this as a pejorative are run by little old blue haireds, and they were being prevented from the IRS by the IRS from actually organizing the way that they needed to to be effective. I mean, it's just what chance do regular people have? I know it's a heavy question.

It's Friday. Honestly, it seems like they have a better chance than someone like Trump. They're like, they're truly after him. Let me ask you this: Do you think this is going to turn? And this is my actual real concern, this is also a concern that I have because I.

I under I understand that For many people on the right, the closest they can get to accountability is a reckoning. And my concern is that this is going to go into a tit-for-tat thing where we are going to go back and forth with lawfare and dragging people to this and that, even and maybe not, you know, maybe you don't even have to go to the level that Alvin Bragg is going here to try to statecraft federal law and rewrite federal election law. But is that a concern that you have? Because I see a lot of good people out there who just feel like there is no other way to have accountability. And I really don't blame them.

I mean, I share their frustration completely. But how do we avoid? Because then that, I think that we just enable Democrats to allow the reformation of this as some sort of banana republic. Yeah, so you're exactly right. It encourages people to violate their own deeply held principles, our Republican principles.

Remember, we're conservatives, which means we're trying to conserve the American foundation and these principles that underlie it.

So you can't lose sight of that. I have a deep fear that many conservatives or right-wingers, let's call them, do lose sight of that. I'm very scared of that. To avoid that, I like to show people that this doesn't work for the left as well as you think.

Okay. You know, it's worth noting. And I also think that the following take, the political take that I'm about to give you is, I think, something that our audience needs to hear. I think there's a different motive here than most people think. The motive here is not to actually put Trump in jail.

There's no way that these charges end up with Trump in jail. I do think this case gets thrown out. It's complete BS. Everybody knows it. That's not their point.

These people are smarter than you give them credit for. Notice what Trump's polling has done in the last couple of days on the presidential primary side. It's gone way up. Just like in Mar-a-Lago, because when they unfairly charge him, attack him, do these kinds of things to Trump, everybody rallies against him. It doesn't matter what you think of Trump, if you're on the right, people have different opinions of him.

Everybody agrees this is wrong. And what does that do? It boosts him. That's exactly what Soros wants. They think he's their best candidate.

They like to meddle in Republican primaries. We don't meddle in their primaries. Look, I would love to raise money and meddle in their primaries. It's hard to do that. Our donors don't want to do it.

They do it all the time. This is their MO, right? They want to choose the candidate they want to run against. And so I just want, and you can take whatever conclusions you want from that. This has no bearing on how you feel about Trump, one way or the other.

I just want people to understand that this is, Democrats are meddling in. Our own primaries. They're meddling with how we think about each other on the right. I think that's a primary motive of theirs. They know this is not going anywhere.

They know Trump is never going to jail. I think that's why so many of them still support TikTok and still want TikTok in the United States, even though it's literally a CCP-founded and funded and operated entity that's masquerading as a private business, but not. That kind of explains it. I want to move to the border because you have actually been working on legislation. Targeting the cartels, looking at this situation, we had the headline earlier: I think it was 40 illegal entrants coming from Central and South America going into Mexico on their way to the United States that were being detained in one of these detention centers somewhere in Mexico.

It caught fire during a protest by some of the inmates. 40 people burned to death. Mexico was saying that it's the fault of the United States, which. They're not wrong because these are Biden's policies that are, you know, being, it's like a beacon drawing everyone here. And then the cartels are making so much money off of it.

I was talking to one of your colleagues, also from Texas, Chiproy. He was saying that really China's involvement in the cartel business has been reduced to the point of they're not, they're kind of bit players with opioids and everything else because the cartels wanted to make more money.

So they kind of worked China out of it.

Now they control all the components. They're the ones who put it all together. I mean, it's a very sophisticated operation, is what he and others have been saying, to where that's really, I think, underappreciated by press and by a lot of Americans. I wanted to kind of get your assessment on that before we get into how to deal with it. On the China involvement, I think that's a good question.

Well, there was in the early days of fentanyl trafficking, et cetera, cartels were being accused of getting a lot of the inputs from China. And now it's really they're controlling all of it, not really so much with China. It's just the cartels have made so much cash with the flow of human smuggling and opioids that they're really a lot more sophisticated than really even the press is giving them credit for. Two things can be true at once. They are highly sophisticated.

They've made a lot of money, but still 90% of the precursors and the input chemicals come from China. That has not changed. I have up-to-date information on this. Yeah, that has not changed.

So the Chinese are still largely to blame, and we should be moving upstream to target that.

Now, it's very difficult to target that supply chain.

So when you look at the easiest targets to deal with this problem, And this is something Chip and I would certainly agree on. You've got to go to the people physically making it and physically pressing the pills. That's just easier because now we're going into a comfort zone from our, when it comes to our intelligence and military capabilities, because now we're just targeting networks, right? Just like we've been doing for the last 20 years with counterterrorism. This is something we can do.

We need the Mexicans to get on board. This is why I've been pressing so hard for an AUMF that would just simply authorize the president military force. It doesn't mean dropping bombs in Mexico. What it means is we can do intelligence collection. We can work by with and through the Mexican military.

Most importantly than anything, to be honest, it sends a very clear message to the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels that you guys have reached a red line, and it's in your best interest if you just stop producing fentanyl right now. That's what I really want. And that's my pitch to Democrats. I'm like, get on this bill. Even if Biden won't act on it, it actually doesn't matter.

This is a message to the cartels that says, We are so serious that we are ready to act. It is in your best interest if you stop what you're doing right now. You have finally pissed us off enough. It is kind of interesting that the story of the four kidnapped Americans that ended up, the cartels ended up rounding up the guys of the subgroup that did it and put their shirts over their head and gagged them and tied their hands behind their back and left them in the middle of the streets for authorities. Was that because of the increase?

Because I've never, and then they sent a letter saying that this is not our code of conduct. I've never seen anything like that. I thought I was watching a weird sitcom. Yeah, thank you for bringing that up. That's a very telling moment.

And it tells you that the cartels are very, very afraid of America. They're very scared of America. They knew they made that mistake. I think they mistake those Americans for Haitian drug runners. They're terrified of us.

So let's leverage that. Let's leverage the terror that they have of us. They do not want to wake up the sleeping giant that is the American military and our capabilities. And so all we have to do is talk a little tough. Um, make it clear that we're willing to use authorities and talk back to Amlo, too.

So, I mean, the Mexican president is a terrible partner on this. He's obviously threatened a campaign against me personally just for going after the cartels. I've never even said a word about him. And the guy did three press conferences on me defending the cartels and going after me saying there's no fentanyl in Mexico and we don't even take fentanyl. That's a lie, by the way.

They have a serious problem with fentanyl deaths in Mexico. Their own people are getting killed by it. Their own people are getting killed by the cartels. Obviously, it's produced in Mexico.

So, we need this guy to just wake up, wake up, and understand that his own people want security for their country. We want security for their country. We need Mexico to be a prosperous, healthy, secure place. That would be better for us to do that. That works better for us.

I wanted to play some audio for you really quickly. I had on earlier this week Vivek Ramaswamy, who was talking about some of the stuff at the border. And what he said kind of made my eyebrows go up a little bit. Because to your point, Taking action against the cartels. How far does that go?

And he had said, I don't know if we had it, he was talking about using targeted drone strikes. I'll play this real quick, it's just a couple of seconds. I, as Commander-in-Chief of the United States, intend to use our military to protect our own border. That is controversial. Would you treat the cartels as terrorists?

Absolutely. But treating them as terrorists is not just what other people mean, which is freezing their financial assets. That's what they're talking about. That's table stakes. If I want to treat him as a terrorist, I'm going to treat him like Bin Laden, Al-Zawahiri, treat him like Soleimani.

I'm talking about targeted drone strikes, airstrikes, actually kill the head of the snake when it comes to the fentanyl crisis in the U.S. That is a legitimate use of force. And if we can do it to ICT, let me ask you: like, how far does that go? Because.

Some people go, wait a minute, while we're bringing jets and all kinds of stuff with the, I mean, what is that? Because I just think, honestly, I mean, I don't know. Maybe I've watched like too much Jack Ryan. I don't know. I'm like, you could send like five dudes down there and like take care of this.

That's just me. What's your thought? Yeah, I like Vivek. I've had him on my podcast to talk what talk about subjects that he's well versed in, which is like ESG and finance and investing. This stuff's I think I think he's he's running for president now.

I think he's He's trying to sensationalize a few things. I'm a little bit more. Nuanced and careful in how I talk about this because I'm very serious about this.

So, look, he's not wrong that that's a threat that I would like them to believe could happen. Right. That's one of the points of. Of passing a law like an authorized use of military force. Yeah, and it's like it's deterrence, right?

It's like they now think that because we've legalized that authority, they now think that that could happen. And is that what you should do on your first day as president is literally a drone strike on a sovereign ally? Maybe not. One of our biggest trading partners. That might be a really bad idea.

What you need to do, again, how I would describe our use of an AUMF would be non-kinetic force. Again, the military can't even do intelligence collection with our current authorities. And we can't do operations alongside the Mexican military. We don't have that authority.

So you need to have a willing partner, right? And Amlo's not right now, but he could be if we move along right and we get bipartisan support here and we say, look, this is better for everybody. Let's do it the right way. And let's scare these guys into just stopping. what they're doing.

So look, he is right. He's right in spirit. In execution. But it might not be the best thing on the first day. We got to get going.

But I also, we're running out of time, but I just wanted to really quickly say you were also behind the legislation making Narcan over the over-the-counter because the overdusts are so even accident, like people don't even know they're doing it at this point. I mean, I've heard horror stories.

So you, just really quickly, you made that possible being over the counter. Yeah, well, the FDA, I'm not going to take credit for it, but we did push. We absolutely pushed the FDA to do that. They did it. And credit where credit is due.

Thank you to the FDA for doing that. They move fast. That's unusual. That's a very important thing. Don't get me started on all the other problems with the FDA.

We have to get going now. We're going to be doing for Americans. Right. Congressman Dan Crenshaw. Parents should know that they can buy an Arcan, and I think you should have it at home.

Yeah. Well, I mean, it's scary. These are the times in which we live. This is what happens with an open border. Congressman Dan Crenshaw from the Republic of Texas.

Thank you so much. Good to talk with you. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man.

Alright, so this is from Brooksville, Florida. I don't, first off, this guy's mugshot. I don't know how someone can have like such a crazy beard, but then have like this straight, totally level bull cut at the top. Like, how is it all crazy down here and all like super weird up here? I don't get it.

Anyway, a convicted felon was found passed out in a car with illegal drugs and a rifle. He was arrested in Hernando County.

So this dude. Was smoking, like all he was smoking oxycodone. He said he had ankle pain. And so he had to basically smoke oxycodone and and methamphetamine and a whole bunch of other stuff, he said, because of his ankle pain. And so I guess he tried to suggest that he had a prescription because It was counted that he had all of these without prescription, plus all of this other stuff.

He was a convicted felon in illegal possession of a rifle.

So he was already a prohibited possessor.

So he, yeah, he got busted. He got taken in to the pokey. And yeah, you can't, you know what? Maybe don't fall asleep in your car. When you're doing this stuff, like on the side of the road, like a nut job.

Don't break the laws. Stay with us. Third hour on the way. We have been reasonable, responsible, asked to sit down with the President for months. He is making the decision that he wants to put the economy in jeopardy.

Yeah. I don't know what more I can do and how easy. I would bring the lunch to the White House. I would make it soft food if that's what he wants. It doesn't matter.

Whatever it takes to meet. I just don't know what's changed from his comments before when he says it's not right if people don't sit down and meet together. Woo! That's how Speaker Kevin McCarthy, I don't think he's playing. Doesn't sound like he's playing.

Welcome back to the program. Top of our third hour here this Friday, getting you set up.

So, that again, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy talking about meeting with Joe Biden. Joe Biden's been traveling around the country discussing his Economic If you want to call it that plan or lack thereof.

However you wanna. Put it. And he hasn't we he neither he nor has the VP responded. about uh to anything with the indictment. And apparently, so the timeline we've been talking about also this timeline with the Trump indictment, I guess Tuesday he's expected to go to Uh Manhattan.

I guess for arraignment. From what I read, Alvin Bragg wanted him in today. But that's it's not I mean he's a he's not a regular private citizen. He has Secret Service protection and will have for the remainder of his life. They have to you Secret Service has to they have to get accommodation, they have to advance things.

It's not as simple as just getting on a plane and flying to Manhattan.

So they're There, apparently, Tuesday is when it's going to be. And then, however, that happens, it's just all so wild. And we've been talking about that: the ridiculousness of those. The charges, and if you miss that, I mean, essentially, if you don't know what the charge is, they're trying to take an expired misdemeanor. The expired misdemeanor, meaning the bookkeeping regarding the alleged Stormy Daniels payment made by Michael Cohen, and they're trying to use that.

They're saying that it's a misdemeanor, and the reason he's elevating it to a felony level is because Bragg, and this is what we're what we know just from what Cohen has said and what Laliques from Bragg's office. I will add the caveat that it is a sealed indictment. But from everything that we know, he's looking to piggyback this accusation that this misdemeanor was committed. In the action of covering up a larger crime, which seems to be from Bragg's office, a campaign finance violation, which is a federal law, that it somehow the payment that Cohen had made, which apparently the repayment Cohen said was in 2017, so that's after Trump was in the White House. That was to benefit his campaign, which I think no one believes that.

And then that's the reason why he can inflate it to a felony. It is an absolute stretch because the only way that you can try to, you know, elevate that misdemeanor to a felony is if it's in, if it was done in commission of a greater or another crime. But it's expired because it only, I mean, it was a two-year statute of limitations. Further, no other prosecutor wanted to pursue the case. Federal prosecutors didn't want to pursue the case.

Alvin Bragg didn't want to pursue the case in the beginning, but Democrats were pressuring him to do so. And so now this is the result. I can't even see this. I mean, I think I can't see a conviction on this. I just, I can't see it even in the most.

Banana Republic type courtroom. I can't see it happening because you. He's creating He's rewriting federal law. I mean, this is completely outside of his wheelhouse.

So I we'll see how this goes. But Tuesday is supposed to be that this is supposed to be that day.

Now, I was telling you earlier, there's been this three-pronged offense against America. And, you know, and I agree too that with, and this Trump indictment is part of it, this is not about conviction. Remember how I told you the LBJ strategy, the Lyndon Johnson strategy? I'm going to tell you again. It's short.

When he was running for state office in Texas, I think he was actually maybe running for land commissioner because anyone who ever goes for the White House or anything beyond in Texas, they for some reason are always land commissioner, I think with like two exceptions. And so I don't know if it was that or another office, but LBJ was running for office and he wanted to accuse his opponent publicly of being a pig fornicator. And John and this is a true story. Johnson's campaign manager, this was written by Hunter Thompson. Hunter Thompson was doing, was traveling all over the country and he was writing about elections.

And this was apparently what he was told from Johnson's campaign guy. And the campaign manager was like, Sir, you cannot say this. You absolutely cannot say this. This isn't true. Johnson goes, Well, son, it's not supposed to be true.

I'm just going to get the, you know, B-word to deny it.

So That's the whole thing. You poison just with the denial, you poison it. There are apparently some other indictments that are, I don't know, some are expecting. But this is just the latest with this. This isn't about conviction.

They just want to use this as a tool.

Now, while the right hand's doing this, you need to pay attention to what their other hand is doing. Yeah. We've talked about the three-pronged offense against America, of which this is part. You have the cultural warfare with the Wokerate, you have the unequal application of the law that we have seen with the FBI and DOJ going after parents, the Bidens skating, the Clintons skating, Trump's indicted before Hunter Biden is for, I mean, good grief. But then also the fallen influence around the world.

We've had three major headlines regarding the state of dollar dominance, and the media has barely blinked. And it's incredibly troubling. The first was the China-Russian financial alliance. with Russia now trading in Chinese currency with Asia, Africa and Latin America. And then you have the Chinese brokered Saudi Iran normalized relations deal, which was also incredibly important.

That was huge. And then you also have this deal now with Brazil. this financial deal with Brazil. To where now Brazil is also going to be adopting, you know, using Chinese currency. It's damaging the dominance of the dollar.

It's damaging our currency to the point where they're going to get us to the digital currency. We're becoming, it's making us weaker energy-wise, and it's all about chipping away at our influence. And we have a president who's trying to go around to tell everybody that we need to spend more taxpayer money as a part of his economic package while raising taxes on everyone else during a recession. It is an absolute nightmare, and we have to have a course correction. We have to.

And to this point, I wanted to play for you this audio. Tom Elliott grabbed this. Tom Elliott is, he's the founder of Grabian. This is another huge story now that you haven't heard about. Countries around the world collaborating.

To destroy the dominance of the dollar. in the global economy. You want to talk about how quickly this is going to damage U.S. security. Kenya's own president.

Williams Rudeau warned about this. Listen to this audio sound bite. This is unbelievable. For the people who work numbers. I am giving you free advice that those of you who are holding dollars You certainly might go into losses.

You better. You better do what you must do because this market is going to be different. In a couple of weeks. And secondly, we through the central bank are having conversations to reinstate. the interbank exchange uh market that has since uh not worked.

So he's warning everyone. He's warning everyone. I mean, there are nations that are looking to sell off U.S. Treasury holdings. This at this pace on this course.

You're looking at like economic collapse. This is all happening. No one in the media is talking about it. The only thing they're doing is talking about what? Wogery.

Because that is also part of the strategy. If they focus on that while ignore thi while ignoring this, they can further divide and further incite while allowing this problem to grow. I mean, you have Kenya's president warning. I mean, on and and It's it's pretty amazing.

So that's what he's warning about. You know, this. This collusion to destroy the dominance of the dollar. China and Russia are doing it right out there. out in the open.

All huge things. You have the the TikTok psyop. Helping to drive division further. It's even less about data. All of this.

You gotta watch what they're trying to distract you from. when stuff like this happens. Then you have this story. Going along with it, the CRT, all of this. You pull this up.

Wall Street Journal. The U.S. is considering asking black Americans on census if they are slave descendants. The change would help quantify eligibility. for reparations should the government agree.

to pay them.

So you thought this was only going to be limited to California, huh? The Biden administration is asking the public. For input. on how it might go about differentiating black people who are descendants of slaves in America from those whose families arrived more recently. as immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, or other countries.

reports the Wall Street Journal. The idea of adding more detailed categories to the census has been gaining currency. among some black Americans who say society too often conflates their experiences with those of black immigrants. who only within the past few decades started moving to the United States in meaningful numbers. Roughly one in five black people in the U.S., according to the Wall Street Journal, are immigrants or their children, according to an analysis by the Pew Research Center.

Now supporters pushing the change Say the big reason they're pushing it is to quantify who Who would be eligible to receive reparations for slavery should the government ever agree? to pay them.

Now This It is truly anti-American to push something like this. You're penalizing. People who did nothing. For victimizing people who have been dead for You know. Hundred years?

I mean going all the way back to win. Early 19th century. I mean, this is, it is. Unbelievable. And they talk about This guy, Chad Brown, spokesperson for the National Assembly of American Slavery Descendants.

He says America sees black people as a monolith. I think that all identity politic people do. And I think even the people who are advocating for this do. Because Case in point, there are so many stories of people now. Who maybe they have blue eyes and an Irish sounding last name.

But back in their family tree, they have a great-great-great, however, ex-grandmother. Who maybe was brought to the United States. By slave traders. How does that figure out? How do reparations then figure into that equation?

And are we just assuming? That it's just black Americans? What about Irish Americans? Anyone who denies that is ignorant of American history. The horrific way in which Irish Americans were treated.

I mean, I could go on and on. You're you're essentially only paying for skin color. That is anti-American. It is the opposite of e pluribus unum. It is in the face of every reason why this republic was created.

But this is what the Biden administration is pushing. It's all about division. Do you remember growing up how the phrase melting pot was a word? Was that was that not a word? Was that a readily acknowledged phrase.

As a goal of the U.S., because it was never about identity, it was about. Freedom.

Now apparently it's politically incorrect to even say that. They make it politically incorrect, not because it's mean spirited. But because It actually discusses the truth. They can't have this idea that people are united in this country by the ideal of freedom. They need you divided and feeling oppressed.

And they're making this happen. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. There's something about this headline and this problem that is so wholesome. with everything that we have going on right now.

I just love it. A man accidentally ordered 60 pairs of reading glasses after thinking he might have only ordered 10. A man named Chris Arnold posted an image of his dad on social media with the stacks of boxes next to him. He said the post went up viral, has 2 million views. He said, My dad accidentally bought 60 pairs of rating glasses off of the internet after misreading the quantity of his order.

The guy from Cornwall, the dad, thought he had ordered 10 or 12 pairs, but then he actually saw how many were delivered to his home this week. He says, My wife and I often lose our reading glasses, so we buy a few and leave them around the house. And I accidentally clicked on 12 sets of five, so that was 60. And asked if he had his glasses on when putting the order and he goes, Well, I thought I did, but maybe I didn't. He said he had a good laugh.

This is one of the most wholesome problems to have right now. Right. Ah, stay with us. We have more in store after this. Of all your favorite talk hosts, one of these is not like the others.

The Dana Joe. But I will say, as it relates to the American citizen that has been detained by the government of Russia, we are deeply concerned. And I will state in unequivocal terms that we will not tolerate and condemn, in fact, repression of journalists and that we are absolutely concerned about any attempt to in any way stifle freedom of the press. Oh. Ah, boy, oh boy.

Well, at least they said something, I guess, right? I mean, it took a day or two. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here with you. That's the VP talking about the Wall Street Journalist Wall Street Journal journalist who had been kidnapped by the FSB, which is the new KGB in Russia.

And I I mean, I don't know, they got any other arms dealers back there he wants to trade, makes him Wild trades for? Who knows? Who knows? No, no. But um The ongoing concern With Russia, they had what the State Department was saying that they put was it yesterday they put this out or Wednesday?

They alert any Americans living in or traveling in Russia should just leave. This is what happens when you when you pay off bullies. and tyrants. They're gonna take more of you 'cause you're gonna pay them off again. That's why that was handled so ridiculously, and why so many people were so so critical of the ridiculous manner in which it was handled.

Hmm.

Now, the President has spoken about it. Let me pull this up here because I just saw. this piece. Biden was asked about the Russian or the Russian capture of the U.S. journalists.

He said, Let him go. He told reporters at the White House when he was asked about His message to Russia on the arrest of that Evan Gershkovitch. And they r the FSB, they accused him of. Spine and trying to obtain classified information. This is also the first time I said this the other day that a journalist has been detained.

and rush on accusations of spying since the Cold War.

So He all Biden said was let him go. When the press asked. And then I'm sure they went off to ask him about ice cream. Who knows? Who knows?

Now I wanted to pull this up. Speaking of Joe Biden. I wanted to get this uh Audio soundbite four of Steve Scalise because we've been talking about this three-pronged attack to destabilize. American unity and American security and all of this and this really is the energy issue is a is a major component of it, particularly After now, you have China making all of these inroads with Brazil and et cetera. And then the announcement that came this week.

Actually, last week, even with Russia and China having all of these trade now, they have agreements where they're going to be trading in Chinese currency, doing everything that they can to damage the dominance of the dollar. Steve Scalise, when he was talking about energy, audio 7x4, listen. Air Force One, the last time I checked, there's no solar panels on the wings of Air Force One. It takes jet fuel. He flew to Saudi Arabia and he begged Saudi to produce more oil.

So again, he's not against oil. He's just against American oil.

Now on this This is the same thing you can attribute to Gavin Newsome. Gavin Newsome is flying around the country. He's going to Florida, Arkansas, I think Alabama, a couple of like four or five states. to sell them on this pack that he's created to go after Republicans because Gavin Newsom is going to run in 2024. He's going to be the Democrat nominee.

He is the only other person that Democrats have. They have nobody else. Nobody else right now. They have not been taken care of their bench. And Gavin Newsome's got his own set of problems, but he's.

Flying around on a private jet. While he's telling everyone, yes, we're going to get rid of all of our gasoline vehicles within the next 10 to 15 years. and flying around in a private jet. lecturing everyone else about Oil and gas. That's I mean, I can't imagine, Kane, how much Fuel costs.

for private jet to fiver where he's gonna be flying. To sit here and sell. His pack about going after Republican candidates on issues like oil and gas. I just I can't make this stuff up. I can't make it up.

Now, tomorrow is the what, the purge? What is it? Day of Vengeance. The trans day of vengeance. Or our visibility.

They're trying to cancel the vengeance part of it and say it's just about visibility. And I just got to point this out to you.

So the weather people. Don't refund them. By the way, sorry, I just interrupt myself. Do do we not fund the weather people? Weather people?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Who are the weather people? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The National Weather Service. We fund that, right?

Sounds like we do. Yeah. So they had this tweet out: quote, to promote justice, equality, and equity for the transgender community. The National Weather Service family champions and stands alongside our transgender employees on this day and every day. Transdev I I just was curi I tweeted it.

And I'd said, this has nothing to do with weather. Spare thought for the victims that were murdered by the trans domestic terrorists this week, will you? Why is the Weather Service treating this? I mean, your job is weather. You got one job.

It's weather. We got tornadoes. What we got? We got... Colefront coming in.

We got... What is it? Yeah. And they're doing this. I don't understand the visibility day.

The trans community is one of the most protected. communities in the in actually is the most protected community. It is the only community that has ever trumped the black community. In terms of More accommodation by the press and the far left with their Marxist schemes. The trans day of his ability to argue that in any way.

That they are not seen or not, they are promoted before other people in front of the law. They have all kinds of special protections. They get special accommodations. You've had the President of the United States tweeting about them. You've had the Vice President, the White House spokesperson, all these people.

I'm just really curious why it's still pushing this visibility. You know what we need visibility for? Just. People who are done with this garbage. who are done with identity politics.

We need a day of visibility for like actual. Women who are tired of progressives trying to appropriate their sex or dudes who are tired. of progressives trying to appropriate their sex. There's your visibility. I wanted to also get this sound bite in.

I put this in Slack. I was my first thought when I first saw this, I was attracted to this. Uh clip. because of the poor argument that they were using, but also because they fit One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Ten.

Progressives. In one segment. You know how, like, sometimes we have guests on here and we put in. Like it'll be like, you know, two boxes. They have ten.

Because they're mad that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that Alvin Bragg was Soros-backed. I want you to listen to this insane discussion. And then I also want you to know that Al Sharpton is sitting there in on it. Oh boy. Listen, and then if you're watching the simulcast, watch this.

Wondering. He can't help himself. Ron DeSantis embarrassed himself by saying he was going to fight extradition charges like he has any say. I mean, again, one more Republican that really just doesn't give a damn about the Constitution of the United States. And of course, you got to, you got to just.

What's this line? Look at the Soros fact. No, it's just Jews. They're attacking Jewish international people. Oh, my God.

It's what anti-Semites have been doing. Wait a minute, pause it, pause it for a minute. Oh, my gosh. I can't attacking. I can't just pause it right.

Oh, my gosh. That's actually, that's Joe. Scarborough. Those two, by the way, are unhinged. Tim and his Mika.

Oh, yeah. I tweeted one thing back at them after they railed at me for like, I don't know how many tweets, and I replied to them, and she was like, How dad? Don't talk, Mary. She was just like a South Park character. Hi, bro.

Why do you attract me? What a job. I mean I literally replied to her. She tweeted me like 5,000 times.

So Joe Scarborough's immediate response is, well, it's the Jews. That's his first thing. He actually says, quote, they're attacking Jewish international bankers. Because Soros? Because Soros, literally, all the groups that Soros funds, the Tides Foundation and through the Tides Foundation, all of these other Organizations that get involved in either political activism, nonprofit political activism, et cetera.

They absolutely, I mean, again, all of this stuff is literally available on this thing called the internet. You can go to opensecrets.org and literally look at everything he's given in the past year. Actually in the past ten years, fifteen twenty you can go back and look so They're trying to get everyone to not talk about this by claiming that anyone who brings this up is being an anti-Semite. No one's talking about Sorcerer being Jewish. They're talking about him backing restorative justice rot.

Okay, go ahead and continue with this because when they went out with a soundbite and Al Sharpton was sitting there, my jaw hit the floor and I'll explain why.

Sorry, I'm like killing Juan right now.

Okay, where do you get it, Juan? 'Cause we just dropped it in there. I could they have ten people in this box. Ten people. Jewish international bankers.

And that's what they do. They try to blame everything on Jewish international bankers. It's Germany 1933. Oh, my God. Just Ron DeSantis further embarrassed himself by saying, I'm going to ignore the Constitution and I'm not going to extradite Trump to New York.

Well I mean Yeah, I saw that tweet, Joe, and look, he's wondering. See, now when they went to the full screen, did you see Sharpton sitting down there? Yeah. What gets me is that You know Al Sharpton, who was sitting there on the panel, he actually... was con he had a um Uh De wasn't there a resolution?

that Scarborough when he was In Congress. that he submitted when he was on the Judiciary Committee. Um He was condemning the anti-Semitic remarks and views of Al Sharpton. And there's Joe Scarborough sitting there talking about anti-Semitism. With Al Sharpton.

Who went to Scarborough once again? was in Congress. literally submitted a resolution. Condemning the said racist and anti-Semitic views of L. Sharpton.

And he's sitting there. Again. On the panel You cannot make this up people. I mean, do I need to go in all this stuff? Everybody knows all the stuff that he's done, right?

Like crown heights. I mean, Sharpton incited a riot and they went through the streets literally yelling, kill the Jews. That was the thing that they were screaming. And They he inspired an anti-Semitic riot. which broke out.

Got a guy nai got a a a guy stabbed to death. I mean, he had all kinds of anti-Semitic sayings that he would yell at these things. And he told one, um, when he was in Tel Aviv, A woman saw him and shouted, Go to hell, and Sharped and yelled back, I am in hell already, I'm in Israel. It was his direct quote. I mean, I can't some of the stuff that he has said publicly, I can't even repeat on air.

And they got Al Sharpton. sitting on that panel. With Joe Scarborough, the guy who literally filed a resolution. previously condemning of anti-Semitic rhetoric, and they're talking about They're trying to sit here and say that any criticism of George Soros is anti-Semitic, which is like saying. To anyone who disagrees with me, that it's sexist if you disagree with me.

It has nothing to do with my sex. That's such a cop-out. I think it's anti-Semitic to invote the guy being Jewish as a dodge to actually hold him accountable for the actions that he does. All right, we have to dating stupidity on the way. Good heavens.

Listen to the Dana Show live on the Odyssey app, weekdays noon to 3 p.m. Eastern Time. I just can't tell you how frustrating this is. Our children die because there are Republicans in Congress who continue to insist that we can't put just basic safety measures in.

So you don't see any behind-the-scenes conversation that makes you optimistic or hopeful that they can change. We don't. Can we just do one in Massachusetts? We have tougher gun laws. If the laws that we have in Massachusetts were the laws across this country.

Here's the issue with Elizabeth Warren here. She can sit here and try to push this on Republicans and everything as much as she wants to. But the problem with that argument is that. Democrats controlled the house. and the Senate.

and the White House. Until you know, midterms. They controlled all of this until midterms. Why didn't they pass what they wanted to pass if they felt that it was so important to pass it? And even going back further, and there were some people who didn't understand what supermajority meant.

I just was rolling my eyes at some of these leftists yesterday because they were trying to take issue with the fact that I was completely correct. when I said that for the first part of Obama Biden's first term. Democrats had a super majority. They could steamroll over any filibuster. Why didn't Democrats pass an eighth gun control then if they felt that it was so important?

The real reason is that they talk a really good game, but Democrats realized that that would cost them elections because the American people, when you don't lead, when you don't go in with push-polling, They don't want more restrictions against Their ability to defend themselves, especially with crime increasing at the rate that it is. And they see, you know, I'm sorry, but when you see officers like, you know, in the training, like what was in Uvalde and Parkland. Not everybody's Nashville police. When you see that happen, you think, golly, yeah, I do actually. You're telling us that those are the only people who can defend us, and then we see these things happen?

Yeah, we want to be able to defend ourselves. And when you see that the things that they talk about banning are involved in the fewest homicides, still. And that most of the homicides, the majority, are still Gangbangers and drug violence, no matter how they try to mischaracterize anything, people don't agree with us.

So, Democrats realize they can talk about it, but it'll cost them elections like it did in the 90s. But this is just how they do. They are so abusive towards their base, and their base just takes it. Oh, well, make sure that you don't have to pay for college. They lied.

They played everybody.

Well, make sure you don't have to pay your rent. They lied. They played everybody.

Yeah, we'll get we'll do something on uh restricting Second Amendment. They lied. They played their bass? Over and over again. And nowhere else in any part of life Do people get to consistently make promises that they don't keep and get excuse for it?

Unlike Democrats. It really is something.

Now We're going to bring everything as it happens on Tuesday. Tuesday is apparently the day. Anything that develops over the weekend, I'll either put it up on Facebook or the newsletter, chapter and verse over at Substack. Today in Stupidity King. All right, it's Jet Johnson.

Jet is now Obama's Secretary of Homeland Security from 2013 to 2017. And what he says here is pretty alarming. And actually, what he is saying is essentially what the left is saying. In talking to his base, those who, as John put it, are still under his spell. It's basically take up arms against our government.

That is in no way what anyone has ever said. But you know what? When you hear Chuck Schumer talk about Brett Kavanaugh, or when you hear people like Sheila Jackson Lee talk or Maxine Waters. Yeah, it does actually sound like they're the ones saying stuff like that. Don't take the bait, exactly.

Don't be baited and do not allow your opponents to manipulate you. Again, as always, take a breath, take a beat, let them get over their skis. Have a great weekend. I will be back behind the mic with you on Monday.
