Back and forth and missed deadlines. FBI Director Christopher Wray will now send a document claiming President Biden was involved in a bribery scheme to Capitol Hill. That comes after Oversight Committee Chair James Comer threatened to hold the FBI in contempt of Congress. Lawmakers from both parties are expected to review the material on Monday. The document supposedly details a $5 million criminal plot involving Biden during his vice presidency and a foreign national.
One thing on the subpoena issue. I don't want to hear a damn fox report for the whole flipping first segment. Welcome to the show. Dana Lash here with you. Your lovable cremudge.
And it's a weird news day. We got some weird stuff to break down.
So we're going to get all of that to you as we get going. Listen, coast to coast. You can stream the radio show as well. This, I wanted to just jump right because we have this Ray thing, and then we also have. The The thing with Christopher Ray, and then we also have this situation with the an impending indictment.
Maybe, might be a Trump indictment. I mean, no one actually knows what's going on because there's so many different takes out there. I thought. We're going to go over some of that. Because There's some stuff there.
That might be a little tricky. It gets into the weeds of like the Espionage Act and all that stuff, which. hasn't been easy. to follow particularly Because It's been politicized so much. And you had the left politicize it.
You've had, I mean, hell, under Obama Biden, they were politicizing it under Obama Biden because. They were trying to, remember, they were going after different reporters and all this stuff for claiming that. Uh Like like James Rosen and others for saying that they were somehow in violation of the Espionage Act, which It's so stupid. I don't even think anybody's successfully used that to go after anybody for quite some time, but you know, it is what it is.
So, anyway. Um That's the situation.
So, we're going to go through all of this stuff, and I'm going to explain. We're going to go over that, we're going to go over the latest with. Uh the Primary, wokery, all those things.
So, as we move, and again, welcome to the radio program. As we move, The uh Situation with Chris Ray. He's caved to The House Oversight Committee, he was forced to release documents on Joe Biden's bribery claims in this. And he's the chair, obviously, of the House Oversight Committee. I'm looking at some of the they were.
This whole situation is so absolutely ridiculous in the first place because if Chris Wray was actually concerned about. Any of this uh th like if he was concerned about if this was just singularly about protecting someone, they could have redacted the name and they never did I don't know why they just didn't do that. I mean, he he could have allowed files to be viewed in a uh you know secure location like and you know They are able to do this. I mean, they have actual processes set up to accommodate this. And so.
He is Now allowing the members to read This document that says Biden took $5 million while he was vice president. I think that's just kind of the tip of the iceberg, and I don't think I'm the only person who thinks that. File contains allegations that Biden, while he was VP, was involved in this bribery scheme with a foreign national. This goes all the way back. to twenty I mean, it goes really far back.
I mean, this goes I mean, I think even all the way back to twenty twelve. I think twenty thirteen was when he did the China visit.
So this was right ahead of the House moving to hold Ray in contempt today. And then Comer called off today's vote because Ray allowed the full committee access to this file, this redacted file.
Now, you know, he could have done this in the first place anyway. I mean, this is something that he could have done. He could have just said, let's go read it in a protected, secure location. We'll do that. Uh or you know, we'll at least at the very least we'll redact the names.
I'm looking over some of the notes here of some of the excuses that he's given because they kept saying, Oh, but we're worried about the safety of this person or the safety of well, I mean, there are ways to do this without. Without Jeopardizing the safety of that individual. And so, This uh I mean it's a it's it's it's a it's a Freak show. I mean, this thing, it's to me, all those excuses, I think it's criminal that he danced around that long. That he that he danced around that long and denied Members of House Oversight, you know, all of this time to look.
and continue this investigation. uh digging into this i mean It's um unfortunate that they had to come to this. But now the vote's not going to happen.
So that's, you know, that's one of the Raskin said he was happy that Ray and Comer came to a deal about the document. He said that all of this was done in good faith and that They they're saying that Ray's saying that he caved. This is kind of a um. It's kind of a This is a political I mean, they're it's a political one's up one upsman. That's what they're doing.
It's a political one-upsman.
So in this, I'm looking at some of this stuff.
So they had, they were fighting over this for like months and months with this. This document, that's the document. It's what is it, the FD, whatever, to whatever. I don't even think that's important to remember the exact file. It was an unclassified document.
So It doesn't make any sense that they would not have that. I mean, they could, it was an unclassified document. If Ray was seriously worried, they'd go into the skiff, read the stuff. And then go out, redact the name, do whatever.
So all the claims and all of the waiting just made it seem like he was doing everything he could to protect. the administration. That's I mean it's all that's all there is to it. And so That's That's the uh they're not going to have the vote.
So we'll see.
So now they're being forced to cooperate, and all of the oversight committee are being allowed to review this record.
So that's number one.
Now, in the meantime, There are a couple of other things happening. We'll get into some of the 2024 stuff, and we got a bunch of wokery for you, too. The potential of an indictment of a. Trump indictment, and this has to do with those classified documents. I'm pulling up my notes again.
People are like, well, why do you look down sometimes? Because I'm doing a radio show and I don't have a teleprompter. Why? This situation with the indictment with the Mar a Lago investigation. Andy McCarthy had a really good piece on this.
There were a couple of really good think pieces, and I'm pulling some of these up now.
Some of these, I think, you got sent out in your email newsletter if you subscribe over at Substack.
So here's. There might be So here's two there's two things happening simultaneously. The first is that there may be Some kind of, you know, there may be like actual charges. There may be a charge. There may be, apparently, they had enough, the evidentiary standard probable.
You know, they had um I'm looking at some of the notes. They had evidence saying that he had I I guess it was like one of the the he he was described as a target, not a witness, which is significant and I'll explain that going into it.
So, there's two things that's happening at the same time. There's probably enough there for them to charge him.
Now, we're not passing judgment on whether or not you agree with it or not. I'm just telling you the nature of the way things are very clinically. The second thing, though, however, and this is what I think is what everyone is upset about, which they have every right to be upset about, and you have every right to sit here and criticize whether or not there's a double standard in the law, is because. You have Trump, who is said to have had classified information. And he said that he declassified stuff, and then apparently his lawyers never produced the extent of that in court.
But secondly, you also had Mike Pence that had illegal possession of classified documents.
Now, They apparently that was all you know put away and all you know resolved. You also had Biden, let's not forget, who had all of these illegally kept and recklessly stored classified documents, and he had, I mean, in his garage, everywhere else for decades. That's pretty insane. But yet, the thing is, is that how in the world do you have the A given. of the Biden DOJ.
bringing charges in for one Do you see what I'm saying? I mean, it obviously would have to appoint a special He would have to appoint a special prosecutor. But The problem here is that You're going to have the Biden Justice Department recommends. violations or charges related to the Espionage Act. And For what against Spider?
Are you going to have that or not? It's just going to be Trump? Where's the consistency? That's why people think it's political, especially when you had that same Justice Department. completely resolve the Pence case.
They closed it. I was looking at this piece. Uh the DOJ Uh, oh, I mean, you had Biden and Trump, which are essentially they're being accused of the same thing. And Pence, who was accused of the same thing, but Pence's case was closed and there were no charges brought.
So They're really working hard to try to set up this. difference between Biden and Trump's actions to make it seem somehow In some way, that Bidens are less criminal. Or there's less, you know, I don't know, mens mensorea or something that than than Trump's. Which I don't See, I mean, unless it's something's, you know, again, maybe they're hiding something, but I don't see that publicly. They're trying to also promote this narrative that The other big difference is that Trump fought and obstructed the investigation and that Biden was cooperative and he notified authorities, et cetera, et cetera, and Pence did the same.
Well, so did Trump though, because Last year They were already talking to. Wasn't this like the third? Wasn't technically the raid. I don't want to call it a visit, but wasn't that the third time that they had been there to look for stuff? Because I remember And pull up.
in my notes because I distinctly remember And here's the piece on it. That they had been out there in January and in February, and that they had already been talking to the National Archives, et cetera, et cetera. They were described as cooperating. This is an AP piece from the time, from the late January. They had been described as cooperative, et cetera.
That seems like a very I mean, the way that it was reported originally seems like a complication to the narrative that the Biden administration is trying to push in a way to. promote a distinction between his case and Trump's case because They have to be able to promote some kind of distinction, regardless of whether or not it's true, so that they can make so that they can justify not bringing charges against Biden, whereas they would bring charges against Trump. That's Here's my complaint is is if they all messed up And they all violated the law, then treat them the same under the letter of the law. That's just the way that I look at it. And that's not the way that they've been that's not the way they're handling it.

So, officials have identified a suspicious substance found on a Georgia Tech campus. What they discovered was that this was after a half dozen people. By the way, Green Mountain Energy, I hope that you just die in hellfire with your stupid pop-up ads. They had a half dozen people that were exposed to a suspicious substance on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology. This was Wednesday.
You don't want to know why? Fentanyl! It was fentanyl They said that six people were exposed to it. They had hazardous material crews that went in, cleaned the building, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I mean, this is crazy because you know just a little bit can kill people.
Just a little bit. I mean, I don't know what the math is on it, but it's like. Just a little bit kills 110 million or something like that. It's pretty serious stuff. Also, the iron.
The iron shake. That's pretty wild. He is now. He's an Iranian wrestler. I remember.
Seen him in the 80s when it was WWF before WWE. Then they have to change it because it was the... World Wildlife Wildlife Federation or something like that. Yeah. Anyway, he was described as a devoted family man, and he has passed away.
He was the villain against Hulk Hogan back in the day. And he's passed away at the age of 81.
So that's going to kickstart the three. I think so. Lionel Mussey breaks the silence to confirm his move. Because he says he wanted to get out of the spotlight, so now he's going to Miami. You know what?
I thought Miami was bad. I thought Florida is bad. Apparently, Florida is so great that even Lionel Messi is moving to it. He confirmed his move to MLS side of Inter-Miami FC, and this is after he, you know, turned his back on his former club at Barcelona, and he rejected a move to Saudi Arabia.
So I guess the Saudis couldn't buy him. He chose not to renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain earlier this season. Man, that's a huge get. He's like the best soccer player in the world.
Sorry, football. Football, soccer. You know, it just depends on where you are. But he's like the best in the world. That's huge.
Absolutely huge. Golly. Everybody's going to Florida, I guess.
So, a Victorville man was accused of attempted murder and assault with a firearms on a peace officer. He's been found not guilty on both charges, despite cell phone video that showed an attack. I was reading this case, there's a lot of nuance here. I mean, first off, I can't believe the guy doesn't get any charges for grabbing somebody's gun and shooting it off in the air. But I also think the lawyers who brought the charges were morons.
Because if you're going to bring a charge, you got to bring a charge you can prove in court.
So, you can't go for like attempted murder or something like that if there's any chance it could actually be like homicide, maybe a lesser charge, but or attempted something like that. You can't, you got to be very, very careful with the charges that you file. You got to make sure that you can actually win them. Otherwise, you let violent offenders go free. That's the problem.
Be smart with those charges. And a mom and a daughter allegedly butchered their grandma with the chainsaw, grilled her body parts. Yeah. Uh-huh. This was in Maryland.
Maryland, yes, Margaret Craig, the victim. New York Post, no joke, stay with us. World's sixth sad place, sixth sad place indeed. When you see judicial rot running rampant and American companies embracing insanity and wokery, you got to fight back. Starting with the way that we spend our money.

Now, we're not just taking this as it comes, we're also trying to prevent it from getting worse than it has to. And that's why we're focused on more sustainable infrastructure for the future. It's why we're getting those EV chargers out there. It's why we're making sure there are more excellent and clean public transit options out there. We're buying zero-emission buses for cities, that means cleaner air every day, and doing our part with the climate challenge.
And even for parts of the transportation sector that are very hard to move to a zero-emissions platform, think maritime and the way our ships work. Think aviation. We're also working on more sustainable aviation. I want to throw myself off my roof. And use him as to break the fall.
Oh, I'm not even. Stop it. This is I'm so done entertaining this with any kind of nicety or civility. This is what happens when you get a diversity hire on T V who doesn't know what he's talking about. It's poop booty juice.
Well, you know, what we should do to stop these wildfires is have more E V charging stations. What we should do, because that's the context. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, Kane, but I'm not, but go ahead. You're right. It's a flippin' wildfire.
I feel like a mixture of Sam Kinnison and George Carlin right now. It's like the worst combination you could have inside a person. You have two wolves. Which one will you feed?
Well, they're both jackwagons, so I don't know. You tell me. Yeah. They're both eating healthy. Yeah, you're a lovable curmudgeon here.
Dana Lash.
So pood booty juice is up there. It's his name. On MSNBC saying that, well, you know, he was asked about the wildfires and what is the United States doing about the wild? What you know, want to know what the United States is doing about the wildfires?
Well, we're not doing bad forest management. I'll tell you that. Look, you have a government that can't even manage trees. Why would you ask? These are Canadians.
Why would you ask them to help to deal with anything else? Everyone's like, oh my gosh, it's probably the global warming that caused the wildfires.
Okay, do explain.
Well, you know, with global warming, the sun just rotates a little too close to the earth and it. you know, it's hits sparks fires in all those tall trees. It's not really how it works. But I just hands to sky, this is essentially what This is what's happening. This is basically how they say it.
So It's wildfire, it's forest management. You know, that's actually a thing you can study, right? It's not environmentalism. Environmentalism is a Scene stir movement. By people who like to be photographed outdoors in North Face, but don't really know anything about the outdoors, right?
They don't know anything about the outdoors. They then there's conservationism, and that's That's an entirely other thing. But there's been a couple of surveys, for instance. In in July of 2021. I'm looking at this.
Canada, their Globe and Mail newspaper, they had this piece out. The editorial board warned that more needed to be done to hold controlled burns and reduce the problem of out-of-control wildfires. They had an issue with overgrowth. Really shocking, isn't it? They had an issue with overgrowth.
People were worried. And then they had like a really hot plate. They had a, you know, it's summer.
So, guess what happens in summer? I mean, if you're above, you know, if you're here in the northern hemisphere, guess what happens in the summer? The temperatures soar Because it's summer. Gets hot in summer. Oh, oh no, it must be global warming.
That must be summer. And they said that, you know, it's also wildfire season.
So you have bad forest management. I mean, I have. Piece after piece. Say well, you know We have bad force management. Uh You had a couple of days of hot temperatures.
And You have areas that are kind of drier this year, but that doesn't actually reach the standard. At least, not even according to what is it? This is progress in disaster science. Not enough. to actually constitute a drought per se.
Speaking of progress in disaster science, a group of scientists published a paper which they said not enough was being done on managing forests in Canada. They said that it is dangerous. That there is Not enough done. That there's an ignorance. And you know what?
It's because of a bunch of stupid environmentalists who don't know. anything about forest management, they wouldn't know good forest management from a hole in the ground. It's environment, it's seamsters. I cannot stand these people. These people who act, oh, I love trees.
I love the environment. I mean, I literally don't know anything about the outdoors, but I love it. Look at me on Instagram. I'm outside in the environment I love. What is that thing when you walk outside barefoot?
Normal people call it walk outside barefoot cane, but what do they call it? Like earthing or something? Grounding. Grounding and earthing. That's why aliens don't visit us.
But it's it's all everything is a brand. They've turned Even caring for your environment into branding. Conservationists are the people who get the job done. Environmentalists are the people who bitch and moan and don't do anything. There's the difference.
They had this, um In this paper, they said wildfire management agencies in Canada are at a tipping point. They said pre-suppression and suppression costs are increasing. Programs are not. Climate change impacts and increasing interf and increasing interface values at risk, challenging suppression effectiveness, blah, blah, blah. They said it's a national, their agency assessment.
Is that You have a double wildfire paradox existing, requiring communities and critical values in wildfire-dependent ecosystems to be fire-smart. They demanded that wildfire management agencies allow more wildfire on the landscape by implementing a risk-based, appropriate response approach. And they're warning: look, if you don't do this, this is what's going to happen. And guess what? It happened because they didn't do what they were being advised to do by the people who actually know this stuff.
And so now You have out of control wildfires. And everyone's out there going, oh my gosh, it must be the climate change.
So the same people who talk about climate change are the same people who are against controlled burns to prevent overgrowth and prevent disasters like this, so that they, when it does happen, thanks to their idiotic activism, then they can turn around and say, oh, well, it's because of global warming. Do you see what? It's a hurt and rescue thing. It's hurt and rescue. They can't manage trees.
It's just really that simple. Honestly. You just f some days you feel like getting that wooden spoon out and beating everybody. Did your mom ever use a wooden spoon to whoop you? I don't I mean, I think I was probably twelve years old before I realized that was for cooking.
Jim, any Christmas? It's true.
Now, wait, I have another. Oh, gosh.
So Trudeau was also blaming he was also out there blaming climate change. Despite again the fact he was warned for years that Canada needed better forest management to avoid the disaster that we are now seeing. He was saying, well, it's climate change. Wait, you mean climate change actually prevents you from Forest management. I'm so, guys, I'm so done with it.
He is he's Justin Trudeau's what happens if somebody like Poot Booty Juice becomes president. Help us all. He's never going to. He's never he's just he looks like a he's just no, not gonna happen. Controlled burns, very, very crucial component of forest management.
Justin Trudeau never pushed for it. Even after all of these experts were telling him to, here's another headline for you that you're going to roll your eyes at. You ever experienced turbulence on an airplane? That's apparently climate change too, Kane. What melted?
It's totally climate change. Yeah. Severe turbulence and global warming have increased in tandem, say experts. Severe turbulence has increased 55% since 1979 thanks to climate change. And it's gonna get worse, scientists say.
A big windy hand of God is going to knock you out of the sky because of climate change. I mean, it's they didn't write that last part, but they might as well have. Uh-huh. That's what they Obviously there's no consensus on this. There are other people who other actual like aviation experts and I don't know, like meteorologists and sciencey people who Are arguing that's the dumbest thing we've ever heard.
That's not at all what it is. That's really not. But there we are.
So you have all these flights grounded. And uh What do they see? The air quality here isn't so great either. That's why yours truly, Kane's probably dealing with headaches. Because it's some of it's drifted to Texas.
Yesterday our air quality was and today it's even meh. It's even worse.
So there's halted flights to Philly, Newark, LaGuardia. Uh, they have had Broadway plays if you're into theater that were canceled and I mean they stopped like mid performance because the actors couldn't breathe.
So I'm just that's what happens. See, the wildfires are what happens when environmentalists win. Where's that message out there? That's what I'd be pushing out there. This is what happens when environmentalists went, when you don't have control burns, good land management, this is what happens.
Yep, yep, yep. All right, can we talk about 2024 a little bit? God help us all. I really want to talk about 2024? Yes, I do.
I have to. I mean, it's part of a little conversation with myself. 1, 2, 3, 4, I declare POTUS war.
So, Pence comes out with the yawniest logo ever. Can we just for a second? Never ever make your logo a font.
Okay. Juan, who is into design and all of that, he felt that. You don't make your logo just the font. Right.
So, did you see his logo? He's announced for president. And he immediately came out. I would have said maybe don't do this. But you know, I'm not in the business of advising.
presidents. I just like who I like and I make fun of all of them. But He says he immediately came out. Like, you know, he I guess he thought, you know, what better way? To uh Promote unity.
And convince people to come to my side, then by going after my former. Running mate. and brusseling the Jimmies of America. Let's do it.
So he came out and said he What how did what all did he say? I have all kinds of he really was going for sound bites. He said that His quote was talking about J6. On that fateful day, Trump's words were reckless. They endangered my family, he told supporters.
He said that if I have to choose between him and the Constitution, Uh I choose the Constitution, I always will, oh my gosh. Uh He's Yeah. His his his logo looks like the visual representation of please It's just Simple. I don't get it. It's very...
You know what I mean? I thought it was a joke when I first saw it. It's very milk toast, but with the QUE. Yeah. I know, right?
It feels like like English cookies. The biscuits? Uh-huh. Yeah, I like that. Juan thinks it looks like cheese branding.
Mm, I'll have a slice of that pence on this burger. I mean it does, not gonna lie. He's um He's never going to be president. Probably for one of the weirdest things too. He's very nice, but he's not confrontational at all.
He is not confrontational. We can't have that. We can't have that. We need a little more drama. Actually, you just you need to You just need a little bit more.
I think it's assertiveness. And I I just think this comes way too late, and so it seems contrived. Then you had Chris Christie that just came out. Why? For everybody who's all like, maybe governors should wait.
Hi, let me introduce you to Chris Christie. He missed his boat. Or Scott Walker, he missed his boat. or Nikki Haley, she missed her boat. I mean, obviously their records are all different, but timing is everything, guys, especially when you're term limited.
So You had Chris and I saw an interview yesterday. He came out. Chris Christie and was immediately Trump, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop. I didn't even know what he said. Every other word out of his mouth was that.
I I I don't I don't know if that's helpful. to anybody in the race. Definitely not these guys.
So we got more on this. We also have people are having a meltdown because one candidate came out with an AI video and then another candidate came out with an AI video and the stands of the first candidate that came out with the AI video are upset that the second candidate came out with an AI video. And I want to beat everyone to death. That's where we are in 2024. I want to pull this car over.
All the rest of us, we're just going to get out and we're going to go to the theme park. We're going to go to Wally World and we're going to leave everyone else in the parking lot to sulk about it. That's what's going to happen. Catch the Dana show noon to 3 p.m. Eastern on DirecTV Channel 347.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States. Today, around 98 million people across 18 states from New Hampshire all the way to South Carolina were under air quality alerts, including New York City, which earlier today had the worst air quality in the world. The air is so bad, officials in the affected areas are urging people to stay inside, not partake in any outdoor activity, and start wearing N95 masks again. These kinds of weather phenomena are happening all around the globe, and it's only becoming more and more common, all because of climate change. Oh my gosh.
And even as we barrel towards a climate catastrophe, many world leaders are still wary of any substantial climate action because of their unrelenting dependence on oil. And among the world's fires, not the forest management. It was because we use oil. Oh, my gosh. Do you know that when you filled up your car cane, it immediately burned one tree in Canada?
Every time you get gas, you burn a tree in Canada. I didn't know that. It's almost exhausting if I didn't enjoy it so much. It would be. Welcome back to the show.
Days of these United States. Today's episode, Lying. No. I would love to be able to just say whatever pops into my head, Lewis Carroll style. In a in a broadcast like people on MSNBC and CNN do.
Just say whatever I want. You know, the reason why we have all this smog and all of this smoke, it's because not enough people are buying guns. That's uh really what it is. I mean, there's just not enough people buying guns and it's created this natural catastrophe. It is as scientifically true as what she's saying.
I mean we all know this, right? That sounds good. I mean we need more people to buy guns and we need more people to buy ammunition. Because that makes the that makes the smog go away. It does, it really does.
There's a scientific consensus, and if the left doesn't want to accept this, I guess they hate Mother Earth. It's true, true stories.
So coming up. Gavin Newsom wants a 28th Amendment. I wish it was to limit himself, but he's going after Second Amendment rights. Stick with us. Every time it's the same, they tell us we can't stop these massacres.
They tell us we have to stand by and watch tragedy after tragedy unfold in our communities. Literally, no. They say we can't stop domestic terrorism without violating the Second Amendment. and that thoughts and prayers are the best we can do. I'm here to say that's a lie.
In this country, we do have the power, the power to change things, to reclaim our freedom from fear. Our ability to make a more perfect union is literally written into the Constitution.
So today, I'm proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to do just that. The 28th Amendment permanently enshrines four additions to the laws of our land. It raises the minimum age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21. Because if you can't buy a beer, you shouldn't be able to buy a gun.
Well, then how about lower the age of drinking? Universal background checks to prevent truly dangerous people from purchasing a gun that can be used. That's like literally already a law. It institutes reasonable waiting periods for all guns. A right delay is a right denied.
I mean, I could sit here and do all day. Ban assault rifles for civilians, he adds. That's also like unconstitutional. Welcome back to the program. Tana Lash here with you.
You can listen coast to coast. You can watch the simulcast of the radio program. YouTube, the discussion. Facebook, channel 347, direct T V. I uh if Dracar Noir and Axe had a baby, they'd name it Gavin Newsome.
So he wants this 28th Amendment to limit gun rights. I have a proposal for a 29th Amendment. Do you want to know what it is? What is it? Shutting him the blank up.
That's what it's called. s would be very popular, I think. I'd vote for it. I'll speak for Texas. Yay.
In Missouri too, I got enough family there. Hell, I'm related to pretty much half the the bottom of the state. Yay, they say they wanted to. I got a lot of friends in Florida. I know they're on board.
Yeah, I know a lot of people in Illinois. Let's just cut Cook County out, right? Let's just cheat them like they cheat the rest of Illinois, okay? Yay, they're in. There's four right there.
Done. Look at that. We're on our way. It's true.
Civics are important. It's unfortunate that he doesn't understand how that works.
Well, I mean, actually, it's not unfortunate. It's great because it's never going to get done.
So, what he's talking about, this is all them gaming the plan. Look, I'm going to tell you something. The whole goal of Democrats on this is they want to take. They want the house. They want the Senate.
They want the White House. And then they want to pack the Supreme Court. And then they want to overturn The Bruin decision, the New York v. Bruin decision. They want to overturn the McDonnell decision.
They want to overturn the Heller decision. They want to overturn all of this.
So that's the that's the whole g goal, by the way, too. And The McDonald decision, that was the Otis McDonald, McDonald v. City of Chicago. I wrote about him in one of my books. He's like a civil rights he's a natural right hero natural rights hero different from civil natural rights you have them by way of birth civil rights are given to you by men in a court or in a legislative body Otis MacDonald is a natural rights he hero.
There should be a statue of him in Chicago. This man fought against the crooked city of Chicago. He would them in a hole in the ground. Elderly black gentleman, because I know that race is important to the left. They want to pretend that he doesn't exist because he's black.
I mean, you know, so they still keep up the Klan's ways. Oh, if you think that I am being incendiary, I'm being historically accurate.
Sorry you find history incendiary. Otis McDonald just wanted a gun to protect himself because he saw all his neighbors getting robbed in downtown Chicago. Lived there all his life. He wasn't about to leave the home that he had. Lived in when he got married, moved in when he got married.
I mean, this, you know. Otis McDonald's a hero. And he had shotguns, but he thought that you can't obviously carry it as easily.
So he fought and won, McDonald's City of Chicago. And so That along with the Heller decision and the Bruin decision, Heller being a landmark decision, that created this trifecta, this wall that Democrats have been struggling with.
So that's they desperately would like to control. Senate and House, they want to pack the Supreme Court so that they can overturn McDonald's case, they can overturn the Heller case, they can overturn the Broome case. And that's just the start of it. But the thing is, is no one's going to It it would be easier for them, I think. Legally, Just looking at this clinically for a moment.
to try to repeal. Two way. Than to come up with this is a stupid thing. It's actually really stupid. Even if you're on the left.
Even if you're far lefty, this is dumb for a number of complications. A number of reasons. I mean First off, two of the things, actually, there's enough court precedent to render two of his claims unconstitutional. The banning on assault weapons, because that's something that Scalia noted in his Heller decision, commonly owned is something that has been a refrain since the beginning of the recognition of Second Amendment rights, going back to the times of the colonies, when each of the colonies recognized it as well. And in fact, Scalia, and I wrote a piece on this like way back when, Scalia had even noted the difference between something that is commonly and uncommonly owned.
And he went back to the time, he went back to the days of the framers and was saying if somebody was carrying around something that was uncommon, like a head axe, it would be a lot harder to argue that commonly owned, that that fell under the protection of being commonly owned.
So when you have, you're talking about the most popular rifles in the United States of America that are actually responsible for the fewest homicides, they want to go after that because that's the doorway. And they think that that's an easier way to go about it than just a handgun. If they can scare you into thinking that a semi-automatic rifle is the same thing as what soldiers carry in war, which they're not, and even if they were, I wouldn't care because this country was founded by free people who had quote-unquote weapons of war.
So they ignore the handguns, they ignore the black market, they ignore all of that. And so he wants to try to fight that commonly owned. That's that's he's gonna crash against a rock on that.
So that's number one.
Number two, the age increase. There are enough judges out there that could drive it all the way, honestly, if they wanted to kick it up to SCOTUS. But I think that there's enough precedent arguing against that because I think that that's an unconstitutional to remove that's a natural right. I'm actually pretty Uh I I don't A natural right is a natural right. A restriction or regulation on a right ceases, it negates the natural right.
It's not a right if you have to ask permission, it's not a right if you have to carry a card, it's not a right if you have to petition your government. And when Rick Scott in Florida, they were the ones who were pushing to increase the ages. That was the, he was the governor when they did all of that stuff after the. Uh Marjorie Stoneman Douglas. Shooting.
And they had a weaker, they had a Republican legislature, but it was a lot weaker, small C conservative, right? Not all of them, just because they got an R by their name doesn't mean they're conservative. Hi, we could talk about Texas legislature all day long. It's like having a California Republican, you know what I mean? You're going to have moderates or a New York Republican.
That was what Florida was dealing with. And they're not all out either, by the way. That's the reason you don't have open carry yet because they were fighting, and some of the ones in southern Florida weren't flipping. That's the problem. You've got to reform the legislature, and they're on their way to doing that.
And if you would have the governor do that in that instance, the legislature would just override it.
So it's strategy. And when Rick Scott, I was, I mean, that was nuts that he did that. And there was a Republican that did that, Governor Rick Scott. That's one of the r I I've never been a fan of his because of that.
So For a newsm to call for this, He He He's asking what for a con constitutional convention, which I don't like either. Uh Because you could easily get something worse out of that. Anything that Newsom calls for I don't want. Right?
So They that's this is really Ultimately It's a stunt. He's doing this as a stunt. But it signals that the Bruin decision was Pretty disastrous for them. That was really bad gamesmanship on part of the left. Remember, they were trying to pull that case.
So the backup plan. is to pack the courts. And in order to do that, They'd have to control the House and they'd have to control the Senate. I just don't think that Uh you first off, you'd not you would not be able to do this. with the way everything is now politically.
And he also talks about what? The universal background check?
Well, that's a registry. That's actually illegal. There's a federal law against that, and there's no way to. We have background checks.
Now, that's a separate issue from whether or not you like them. Or that you think that that's constitutional. They're separate issues. The fact is that they exist. And it's something that uh That system There was a law passed after that.
This is in the 90s after the Brady. The Brady bill, where the federal government's not allowed to keep this kind of data on you. In order to have universal background checks, they would have to. And the universal background check system is also unworkable because everybody would have to have access to it. We have problems with this system now.
Imagine And we have problems with reporting to the system. Sutherland Springs was a problem of reporting it to the system. Charleston, a problem of reporting it to the system. There were two casualties, mass casualty incidents out in California that were also similar. I mean, Orlando, the Pulse Nightclub shooting, that was a problem of reporting it to the system and tracking.
So you have issues right now with the system. And I can't access the background check system. You have to be FFL to access the background check system. I don't want to be an FFL. The reason I don't want to have the federal firearms license is because I don't want to have to subject myself to unconstitutional searches and seizures by the ATF, and that's something that you absolutely have to do.
Now, people could say, well, that's not unconstitutional because that's the agreement when you get the FFL, but I still maintain that when you are asking the government for permission, you are not free. It is an abridgment.
So that being said. There's no way in hell, A, that this would happen. B, it's so legally problematic because C, he doesn't know the laws that exist already. That's it. This is one of the dumbest things I've seen.
honestly. But this is a stunt for him. And he's like, he's like, oh, we can't. Every time they tell us we can't start, who tells you this? No one tells you this.
I went on stage in front of thousands of people where people screamed, burn her. And I had solutions in my back pocket ready to talk about it. And nobody wanted to have that conversation. I went on ABC talking with George Stephanopoulos, solutions in my back pocket. Nobody wanted to talk about it.
I went on CNN. I went on MSNBC. I went on NBC. I went everywhere that anyone, where anybody would have a conversation, ready to talk solutions. But I was told that there were no solutions.
I was told that no, we're not going to talk solutions. We just need to do something, do something, do something. And that do something is always the same damn thing. Let's punish the innocent. Let's disarm people.
Let's criminalize people who have no criminal records at all whatsoever. Let's do everything possible except proper reporting into the system that you worship. Let's do everything possible except undermining restorative justice and actually bringing back stronger penalties. Let's do everything possible. except the very things that would actually reduce the violence.
So spare me. It's theater from uncaring ghouls who want to stand on dead bodies in electioneer. I mean, at least your car noir and acts have a purpose, you know. I don't know what his is yet.
Now as we move, 'Cause we got Phew. A lot uh coming up. We have The latest with I Got Some Wokery. Wait until you hear some of this stuff. Did you guys see?
I hesitate to bring this up to you. The US Air Force yesterday They tweeted. The silhouette of an airman saluting. what apparently looks like the the gay pride flag. It's the rainbow flag, but with blue, pink, and white on it too.
And it says, June is Pride Month. The Department of the Air Force proudly recognizes and celebrates generations of Alphabet. And service members in their contributions to our Air Force. And it's the LGBTQI. What is the I?
Is inclusive? And oh, you know what they did? They Restricted who can reply. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Alright, so. Dad. A radical climate group is deflating SUV tires.
And it says that it has active groups in 18 countries, including the United States.
So they've been targeting SUVs and slashing their tires. They're called tire extinguishers. Fat what? They're in Portugal, let's see, US, UK, Canada. It's basically a bunch of losers in a bunch of different countries.
This is what I'm talking about. This is what environmentalists do. Conservationists, you know why you don't see conservationists on the street? Because they're busy working. In the forest, you know, managing stuff.
That's what they're doing. So, I don't really think that that helps convince anybody. It just makes me want to buy more SUVs, right? That's what I want to do. A Syrian refugee screaming in the name of Jesus, which that's obviously not true, stabbed a baby in their stroller in front of a screaming mother as four kids aged 22 months to three years were stabbed while holidaying.
They were vacation at a French resort before cops showed up and shot and arrested him. Uh that's awful. The Syrian refugee identified as a 31-year-old. Uh only the first name Abdalmash was was released publicly. Uh he went on this rampage in this park uh in this town.
Just it's a tourist hotspot in southeastern France and there's video footage. And it shows him walking around with a knife, and he's, you know, yelling. And oh goodness, two of the victims are two of the young victims and one of the adults are in a they have life-threatening conditions, so they're in critical condition still. But four included four kids. It's just awful.
But there's like actual video. People rushed him to stop him and take him to the ground. And I mean, it was just, golly, that's just awful, awful, awful. The Supreme Court has struck down Alabama's congressional voting rights map in a dispute. Justices threw out a Republican-drawn congressional district that a lower court had said, oh, it's discriminatory.
Well Really wasn't, but it was a 5-4 vote ruled against Alabama.
So the map of seven congressional districts that has to be redrawn. Stick with us. Between Twitter, Facebook, or any of your social media, there's a lot of information out there. That's why your lovable curmudgeon is here to help you make sense of it all, live or on demand. The Dana Show.
I think giving tools to law enforcement to be able to intervene, particularly those resource officers at schools. if they sense that someone is potentially a danger to themselves or others are useful. But I think we've got to be very cautious about red flag laws. I think we've got to make sure and protect the due process rights of Americans. We cannot allow laws like that or other laws to erode the constitutional right to keep and bear arms in this country.
We never want to create protection. particularly at a time when there's so much distrust of institutions. including our Department of Justice. We never want to perceive the American people that there's an opportunity for someone to come and take away firearms that you are lawfully possessed of. He speaks about it as though there is a way you can work around it and there isn't.
I mean, the entire concept of a red flag law is to lower the evidentiary standard. and to remove due process first in order to uh implement penalty. That's the entire point of it. There is no manner in which you could possibly implement it. to make it constitutional.
And and and if you tried? That already exists. It's the laws we have now. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here.
with you, bottom of this second hour. That was Mike Pence and his announcement for office yesterday. That's the thing. Whenever people say that there's a way that you can do it, that's a cop-out. I mean either I I I don't expect everyone to know everything about firearm law, or firearms.
Uh you know, if I don't know, I go and educate myself. Which is what I expect of someone, particularly if they're running for any kind of elected office. I mean, in fact, it should be the requirement that you know what you're. what you're to get you're talking about before you push it out there. And he's intimating here that there is a method to there's a way to do this.
while still protecting due process, and I'm here to tell you there is not. And I'll say it once more, the entire purpose The entire structure. of the red flag, the ERPO concept, is to inflict penalty first And then lower evidentiary standard and remove due process and have due process second. That is not how our system works. And by way what I mean by lower evidentiary standard in all these states that have implemented these red flag laws, some of them you just you can just have like suspicion of.
I mean, it doesn't even it wouldn't even hold up in court. Really? There's only a couple of states that have actually Demanded that there be some sort of enough evidence to prove that this is such and such individual. But again, that's not, that's the exception, that's not the rule. And so there's no way to do this.
that protects that. I mean you're I mean the The pro and that's one of the big problems with the red flag. I've written so much about this. Uh with regards to And not just me, there are other, you know, my friend John Lott. The standard of evidence is incredibly low.
I wrote about this in Newsweek. What is it? A couple of. Uh was about a couple of years ago, I think. And The idea that You know, this is again something that I mean, it's done entirely, it's an ex parte process.
There isn't a single meaning that if you have a red flag law carried out upon you, you're not even going to know about it. You're just going to find out after the fact when they come in and to enforce the penalty. My friend Dave Capell, who's a law professor, he testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2019 and he went down over all the states where you have seen these ex parte proceedings and you have a deprivation of rights, stands due process, and right to counsel. This happens to you without those two things, which is a cornerstone of our republic. If something is serious enough to infringe upon someone's constitutional rights, then it's serious enough to follow our existing system of due process, which allows for a respondent to face accusations in court before a judge before you render a penalty.
And don't think for one second that this is just about firearms. The red flag. President will not stop at guns. I promise you, with everything I got, it won't. It will be widely applied to a number of other issues.
How do you feel about that? You don't have to have a gun to be affected by it. That's the other thing. It is one of the most dangerous proposals in modern history. One of the absolute most dangerous.
And so That's why when he says, well, you know, and that's kind of the way a lot of people say it and are told to say it. to talk about That issue when they don't, when they're trying to appeal to moderates who maybe don't understand, and they're also trying to. Uh act like they're protecting constitutional rights, so they're saying, you know, they're mm. kind of given a little bit To the right, and it's just not. It it's a cop-out.
It's an absolute cop-out. I mean, you don't have And in most of these, there's no protection against no-knock raids. I'm just trying to think of all, like in Maryland, there was a guy who was killed. It causes necessary unconfrontations. And then I mean, in some of these states, each state has to determine: okay, well, then, if the fi if firearms are removed, then who takes custody of the firearm?
The government? I mean, can you ask for them to be transferred to an FFL? I mean, there's a lot of stuff to be considered here. And there is a super high error rate, which a lot of people don't talk about. In fact, one of the things that has been noted: the error rate, especially of the, and there's not a state that doesn't have an ex parte process, it's very high in Connecticut, for instance.
Uh 32% of confiscation orders are overturned. It's a pretty hi damn high hero rate, isn't it? And in Connecticut and Indiana, Uh only law enforcement can file the confiscation petition. In Colorado, they were pushing to allow every Tom, Dick, and Harry to be able to do it. In some states, they do allow that.
I mean When you are going into a courtroom process and you are asking for a temporary restraining order, which is what the ERPO slash the red flag stuff is, when you're asking for that to be implemented, You have to explain. And I was talking to a friend of mine who works in law. And I had said, is this typical in any case, or is this just guns? And my friend had said, well, I mean, you have to explain why the. uh the defendant wasn't notified.
Okay, so that's different now just because this? That's what I'm saying. It completely upends. Law and order. For expediency Needlessly.
When we have a ton Of opportunities to handle this situation following our current legal framework that protects due process, protects innocence, et cetera, et cetera, and you don't see that high error rate.
So, when again, just when Pence talks about this and when he says stuff like that. intimates that There's you know, there's a way to there's no way to do it. That's the structure of it. Anyone who tells you there's a way to do it is lying to you. Either they don't know enough about the whole discussion to even opine on it.
or they're lying to you. 'Cause they think they can trick you. Don't buy it.
Now The couple of other things. I want to get into some of this woke stuff. Woo, ooh, ooh. I told you a little bit earlier. About the uh did y'all see the Air Force thing?
I'm not going to tell you what other Veterans who served in different branches said, because I know there's a lot of rivalry, but you can only imagine. I don't want to say it because that I you know, I'm a civilian. I'm not going to say, you know, Like a Navy vet saying, Yeah, well, that was somebody had said it's the gayest brand, so it makes it. I'm like, okay, you can't. They h they'll have a rivalry.
But, um Why did they tweet this? I mean, aren't just when wars.
Okay, that's all I gotta do. Just win some wars. Wind waters, you don't need to be tweeting this kind of stuff. And the like the silhouette is saluting. It looks like they're saluting the gay pride flag.
Doesn't it? Am I overthinking this? That's exactly what it looks like. It looks like they're saluting the gay pride flag. That's I kinda have a bit of a problem.
I've got a bit of a problem with that. That's uh It's not how that works. Just sayin'. but they restricted all their replies to it. They restricted all their replies.
Now, Corey Bush, squad member. Uh By saying you are anti-woke, it means you are anti-black. She said this during a House Oversight Committee hearing. I know. Yes, she did.
She said it at a committee hearing. She said that if you say that phrase, if you identify as being non-woke or anti-woke, she said that it's the same. thing is saying that stupidly that you're anti black, which is not at all. It's They're they they Progressives want to hide the Marxist cultural implications of their agenda. Or well, that's all their agenda is.
They want to they want to downplay this. She says, when you say that you're anti-woke, when you talk about wokeness, you're saying that you're anti-black and you don't want black people to speak up for themselves. That's what she said. House Oversight Committee hearing. They were talking about ESG, the environmental Uh social governance thing And she said, so basically, anytime you do, if you, you know, whatever, you disagree, it's racist.
But it's not though. It's rooted in Marxism. It's not rooted in race. It's rooted in Marxism. Wokery is cultural Marxism.
I mean, I've been I've we've been talking about this for ages. It is, it's this was what Derek Bell was promoting in the 60s throughout college campuses because everyone figured, you know, the Marxism is just about class warfare.
Well, they wanted to weaponize everything. What else could you use to divide and conquer? Let's use identities. It's it is cultural Marxism. And so just imagine, you know, you're they're the one, that's where the whole idea of equity over equality came from.
Actually, employing discrimination so that you can force equal outcomes. That's what equity is. Whereas equality is giving everyone the same opportunity, but there may be different outcomes depending on different effort. different, you know, whatever. But everyone has the same opportunities.
That's equality. Equity is, oh no, you also have to have the exact same outcomes, even if it means forcing discrimination to achieve it. That is equity. That is what wokery, aka cultural Marxism promotes.
So it's anti-equality. Despite its very definition, it's anti-equality. You cannot be for equity and for equality. They are two constants. contrary positions.
They are oxymoronic. And so she just, I don't honestly think that she understands. And even if she did, I still think that she. Wouldn't care. Because they're Marxists.
I don't even want to say progressives anymore. It's just communism. It's just Marxist and non and and people who are constitutionalists at this point. It's so prevalent and it's so ubiquitous. It's everywhere.
But that's what Wokery is. If anyone asks you, I know the media was saying, oh, people can't define it. I sure as hell can. You want to sit down? We'll have a treatise on it.
You want to? I mean, good heavens. But that's it's cultural Marxism. And they don't want you to think that. They want you to think that there's so much division so that we require.
This unequal application. this equity.
Now we have a lot more to come. including Media.
So apparently it's been reported that Fox warned Tucker that he was in breach of his contract. We're going to talk about this because there's some interesting legal stuff here. And also the debt ceiling, the GOP, they're being accused of shutting everything down. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man.
Tampa police are seeking a woman who sold a stolen parrot to a pet store. They are looking for some this this woman, they want people's help. They said that two blue fronted Amazon parrots, Tito, fifteen, and Mamma, twenty. They're that old. Wait, hold on.
They live that long? Yeah. So, like, if you were gonna commit to a parrot, you gotta really commit. Right.
Jimmy Christmas. They were stolen from the porch of a house. Who keeps their parrots on a porch? Those committed parents? And they said that so they're seeking this woman.
She took these two parrots, I'm still trying to get over the ages, and sold them to a she sold Tito to a pet store. The owner recognized Tito had been stolen, contacted the true owner. The other one, who has a steel band on her left foot, is still missing. They're trying to find her. I do hope they find that other parrot.
That's kind of sad. Anyway, they're saying that they're asking for information who may know the female in their video, your Tampa PD, et cetera, et cetera, contract crime stoppers. That's like a pretty specific uh theft. Isn't it? Like you steal someone's pet parrot.
I wonder if it's like the parrot. And Shorzy. You can't. You can't play with that. I've been telling Kane and Steve to watch it, and they won't do it because they're haters.
All right, so a. I'm not re Kane sent me one Florida Man headline that I'm not reading. I thought you'd, you know, I thought you'd do what you normally do and dance with the music. There is no way to talk about this one. You've talked about stories similar to this in the Florida events.
This is, I mean, there's a whole new level of creepiness here. Just saying. All right, you know. You get creative. Do you believe that this guy's 46 in his mug shot?
His name's Brendan. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They say this guy is 46 years old. I do not believe it.
If you're watching the simulcast... Yeah, one. All y'all talking in YouTube, y'all know that dude ain't 46 years old. That dude does not look like he's 46 years old. That's not party.
No, no, no. Frenden Patrick McGonagall. He was taken into custody by Fort Myers police. Um Let's see. He, um Engaged in some indecent exposure activities.
In front of people. At the lodge. While staring them down.
So Witnesses say that he entered the restaurant, asked for some water. And then began his indecent exposure activity. while staring down. Everyone in The restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant.
And then, when police arrived and they questioned him, he said that. He really wasn't feeling well and just decided to do that there. Oh my gosh. So he's charged with two counts of indecent exposure. I don't know the law on this.
But could you punch him in the throat? I feel like you could, right? Just feel like that that's something that Yeah, to be justified in this instance. Third hour on the way. Don't go anywhere.
And even for parts of the transportation sector that are very hard to move to a zero-emissions platform, think maritime and the way our ships work, think aviation. We're also working on those. Sustainable you can What? Yeah, that's uh I can't play that enough. He is on a roll, man.
Newman, Mayor, Secretary, former Rear Admiral of the Camp Wimpetonka Canoe Fleet. That's uh secretary. Mayor Secretary. Uh put it just That's how Joe Biden says it. I think you combine Lawrence O'Donnell and the Biden way of saying it.
So you say poot. which is Lawrence O'Donnell. and then booty juice. Which is Biden. Yeah.
Well, I mean That's how you do it. Lawrence O'Donnell's the Shakespeare of MSNBC. I've never seen a man more dramatic. I mean, I have, but like on MSNBC. Anyway, welcome back to the show.
Top of this third hour. I have the So we're going to talk about Climate and aliens. Welcome to the show. Alright, so he was Talking about the uh the burning of the the Canadian forest Burning, we were talking about how they've been warning, like all of their conservationists were warning the government: guys, we seriously need to do some controlled burns. Uh, or all hell's gonna break loose.
Like, we promise, eh? Please. They were very polite about it. Yeah. Trudeau was like, oh no, we don't need to do that.
That's, you know, whatever. And they, I honestly makes it makes you wonder if they wanted it all to burn so they could blame climate change. I'm saying that because they apparently don't understand forest management. That's an actual real thing. Anyone who's ever worked with land knows this, it's part of land management.
It is a real thing. You get overgrowth and you get a little bit of You know, a couple of dry days, and anything can happen.
So they're trying to say, oh, it's climate because they've had a drought. They haven't had a drought. Oh, it's climate, it's super hot. It's like it's summer. And It's because they had no they can't manage they cannot manage anything.
It's the government. They can't even manage trees.
So That's the unfortunate You know, I mean, it's Canada. Golly, this is what happens when environmentalists take over stuff. Things burn. And then you have Randy Weingarten.
Okay, so I saw this all day yesterday. I saw. People had two photos and they shared them on Twitter one on one on top of the other And the one on the top was the orange sky of New York through the haze of everything, right? And then the one below was like from the recent Blade Runner, right? Where he's walking out to New York City.
He's got a space car, you know, it's all orange. And the skies looks, you know, kind of similar. And that's it, you know. Randy Weingarten saw the Blade Runner picture and retweeted it, saying That climate change is real. She actually did that.
She retweeted it and said yesterday in New York City, apocalyptic. Hashtag climate change is real. Ha ha yay, she's involved with teaching kids. You didn't even look at the photo? You didn't even look at the photo?
It has a space car. In it. There's a space car in the photo. FAUXTOE, there's a space car in the photo. Hey, teaching our kids.
Yay. You know you know those games you play on the airplane and it's like two pictures and you gotta pick which one spot the differences in the two? Yeah. It's like she couldn't figure out what was real life and what wasn't. Like the one tire in the back or the license plate or like, like, none of that popped out to her.
Yeah, none of that.
Okay. You know, she didn't see any of it. You know what? I was trained on highlights for children. You know that magazine?
You did you have highlights, Kane? Steve, did you have highlights? Yeah. On the back cover. They had thing where you had to spot every one of them you had to spot Like weird things, like the differences between these pictures and all this.
So I was like. My whole life I was prepared for this. You know what I mean? I'm like, look at it all. I'm like, there's a million things in here that you could pick out.
And she's like, no, that must be real. I don't even know how um You Man. That's like a who was it? Who was the old lady? That writes, so what is she, like a Washington Post, not Reuben.
Uh The other lady, uh, dark-haired lady. And she took a picture. from several years ago. Uh this is some is someone she found a meme of uh Steven Spielberg with one of the di the anim animatronic dinosaurs at Jurassic Park. And she thought it was a hunter that killed something in the safari.
And she retweeted it saying, This is horrible. Like, I don't she, like, apparently didn't know that it was a triceratops. Can't ignore it. Joyce Carol Oates is who did it. It was Joyce Carol Oates.
That's a real thing. She actually thought that it was like a safari photo. These people, I can't. They're your intellectual and moral betters, don't you know? Mur.
They're better than you.
Now, so we've been talking on break. Because I don't know if you've seen this. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but. You know, maybe a little bit. There's a story.
Our friend Larry found us the story, and there's video. Steve has the. There's video of this.
So police Body cam records a u some identifi unidentified object in the sky. In Las Vegas. And it fell out of the sky. The police saw it. They're on body cam footage talking about it.
Residents call police saying a couple of not human 8 to 10 foot beings with big eyes are in their backyard. Do you have this video? The call's funny because they're like, Yeah, there's some big people back here. I was dying laughing inside. I don't really laugh a lot, but.
I do. But they were like, Yeah, there's some like big people out here They're like eight feet tall eight foot tall people. And black SUVs were reported in the area and they're like, oh no, everything all the video and everything was blanked out because on this this report, and it's like Channel Eight, it's a CBS affiliate out there. See if you can queue it up to that call. They uh When the body cam the police were going in the backyard, the body cam footage, they they said, Oh, Metro blacked out this footage because it's private property.
Now, you have watched cops, I have watched cops, we all know that that's shenanigans.
So I don't buy that. I don't buy it at all. And I don't think these people would have mind. they would not have minded at all. But they but someone actually called 911 and they were like yeah something fell out of the sky and there's eight No, I know.
I don't want it to be, I don't want it to be a prank. I want it to be real. And I want the can and who was it? Juan suggested, because we were talking about, I don't know how we went from climate change or whatever. And he was like, well, you know, maybe the forest's up there.
Maybe that was a. That would be much more entertaining than just some environmentalist that's, you know, did all this. Listen to this call, though. This is wild. It's almost midnight on May 1st when a Las Vegas Metro Police Officer's body cam catches this: something flashing low in the sky.
911 emergency. Minutes later. There's like an A school person beside it. and another one's inside and it has big eyes and it's looking at us and it's still very Someone calls 911 reporting two large figures in their backyard. I'm still nervous right now.
The 8 News Now investigators obtaining another officer's video as he's sent to the Northwest Valley home. I have butterflies, bro. I've only thought of a shooting star, then these people say there's aliens in their backyard. By now, it's more than an hour after that bright light. Officers meeting up with the caller and his family.
What'd you see? It was like a. It was like a big creature. A big creature? Yeah, like an old testing bomb.
I'm not going to BS you guys. One of my partners said they saw something fall out of the sky too, so that's why I'm kind of curious. Did you see anything land in your backyard? They see like a big. That's what they say.
They see like a big, uh, like a big something with light. What I saw right now, I do believe in it. Police walk into the backyard to investigate, but Metro blacked out that part of the video because it's considered private property. It's clear they're taking this call seriously. Hey, this might sound like a really dumb question, but did you guys see anything fall out of the sky?
Asking others what they saw. I would normally discount it as nothing.
However,. Just saying. And I'm waiting for the. Oh, well, the official explanation is that it was just some swamp gas from a weather balloon that was. trapped in a thermal pocket and uh reflected the light from Venus.
That's what happened. That's well like Yeah, that's what it was. You didn't see anything. What about the eight-foot-tall people that were looking at us? That was a reflection.
From you. Yeah, it was a Your vision was blurred due to the Well Lightning? Yeah, the swamp gas that was trapped in that thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus. That's what it was. It was, you just saw.
Science. Science. You just saw. That's all it was. Swampcast or weather balloon.
That's it. That's it. Man, man, man I don't know, I'm just saying it's a little Some shenanigans. See this a lot more. I mean How bad is it?
When If they're doing it 'cause someone's like, Dana, the only reason that they're talking about all this stuff now is to distract from what they're doing.
Okay, that also doesn't make me feel better. You're telling me that everything is so bad that the only thing they got left is aliens? Is that what you're telling me? That don't make me that don't make me feel any better either.
Well, it's uh we can't tell them that the world's going to hell. And that we've ruined everything.
So let's tell them.
Well, how about this, Bob? What if we say it's aliens? Jim, that's a great idea. I think they'll buy it. Yeah.
X-Files prepared them. And now they str I'm just saying that's I feel like that that doesn't make me feel better. I mean I would like for it to be. I don't know if I like him being eight foot tall though. It's kinda weird.
But I'll take it. It's just weird, you know? Like it with big giant eyes. This just doesn't make any sense. Are they proportionate to the head?
Like, what is it? Like, all the drawings I've seen, they're not. They look like giant precious moments things, bald precious moment figurines. Steve goes, they could dominate the NBA. I'm immediately wanting to figure out how I can just start like a sports agency and represent them.
Right?
'Cause that's where the money is. If they are that tall, you know they could ball. Let's do it.
Right?
I mean, hell, you got men playing women's sports. Let's go ahead and bring uh aliens in. Why not?
Well, do we know if they're male or female?
Well, we don't know. They're gray. They all look the same. They're all bald. Don't know.
No idea. Just saying. Coming up. I don't know if y'all saw this. It is in San Francisco.
Take that for whatever it's worth. But apparently They've held I didn't even know they had two previous ones. The San Francisco Sheriff's Office held its third annual Pride Flag Raising at the County Jail No. Three on Monday. Hosting other public safety professionals.
It's the the sheriff's office did it. The deputy sheriff Danio Quantanilla, who is a member of the alphabet community.
Now, wait a minute, hold up, hold up, hold up. Why is it? that when some people are like, Oh, they're a member of the alphabet community Sometimes it's only LGBTQ. And then sometimes I'll see it references LGBTQI. And then sometimes it's L G B T Q I 2 S B B Q X Y Z.
Like what? I don't get it. But anyway, they raised a flag and people were saluting it. We salute how you do it. When you do it.
What? My gosh. We're going to talk about this. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five. This is one of the craziest stories I've ever seen, courtesy of our friend Larry, who found this.
Tourists watched a Russian dude get devoured by a shark. off the right on an Egypt beach. They were visiting this resort of Hergada and they watched this guy. He was attacked by a shark. I mean, the beach is crowded, it was the Dream Beach Hotel.
And he was a Russian citizen. Their consul general in Ergada told the country's new agency that it happened Thursday and it killed him. He's a 23-year-old guy. He wasn't a tourist, but he'd been living in Egypt for several months. And there's video.
The encounter shows hotel staff are screaming for swimmers to get out of the water. You can see the shark's fin approaching, and then you can see the guy struggling with the shark. and fighting out and it's oh man, it is so. Bad, they tried to rescue him. A boat got to him finally, but the shark had already killed him at that point.
By the time it got that, it is an area. If anybody watches Shark Week, that's where they're really, really active, by the way. That and like the southern, you know, the Horn, Auto Horn of Africa, or the bottom, well, off the Horn of Africa, and also south, uh, like the south of like Cape Town on that. That's where they jump out of the water, eating those, eating the seals, and all that. It's crazy.
That's a shark's house. That's terrifying. Oh, what a horrible way to go. A driver was cited for going 20 miles over the limit. The fine, though.
Was Mmm, $129,544, a Finnish driver in Finland. Yeah, ABC says the finished driver was fine 51 miles an hour in a 31 mile per hour zone. That's awful specific, 31 mile per hour. And he got a 10-day driver's license suspension earlier.
Now he had to pay $68,000 in 2018. Apparently they don't tolerate speeding, I guess, at all. That's kind of That's really wild. Also, a couple of other things here. Uh oh goodness.
Toe, I wanted to get to this one. This is the one. Toe wrestling. They're actually going to have a toe wrestling champion, world toe wrestling champion. That is one of the nastiest things I've ever seen in my life.
Apparently, they call it a strange, beleaguered sport. There actually is a tow wrestling championship. They had it in Ashburn, England in 2022. And these are, they actually do it. They actually have, oh my gosh, it's some of the nastiest things I've ever seen in my life.
Oh, I'm sorry, I just can't. But yeah, they've been doing it since 1974. Of course, it was born in a pub in Britain. Of course, it was. Staffordshire, Britain.
That's where it was created. Stay with us. We have a lot more on the way, the latest with DC. Wokery? All el all else, stay with us.
To catch up on all the headlines in Crazy Wokery, download the Dana Show podcast and get Dana's perspective on The Dana Show. Tobias no time, but I think that's a good idea. That's what I mean, that's what the left said. The left said that everybody was leaving. Doesn't look like it's true, though.
Man, what a great get He's going to enter Miami. What a great get. And he's got, welcome back to the show, by the way, bottom of this third hour, Daniel Lash here with you. the most the most coveted free agent in Soccer. And He and he's only thirty five years old, so he's I was looking at his deal.
He's got Uh goodness. Lifestyle deal. All kinds of brand deals. He already owns a house in Miami. I didn't know that.
So he's got a whole bunch of stuff that goes way beyond just his actual, like, you know, his deal, his soccer deal. He's got all kinds of branding opportunities. That's gonna be.
So profitable for him. I think, Juan, what did you say that it was end up like $150 million a year? Yeah, 100.
So in total, that's going to end up. That's a nice paycheck. And now. Because Juan and I were talking about this. One played soccer in college.
And The Saudis that offered him, what, a half a billion? Golly. He's like, nah, he ain't got he n he's not going to do it. Good for him. Man, that that's 'Cause That's a paycheck.
That is a paycheck. Half a billion dollars. Like, no, I'm gonna take my hundred fifty million. And uh he said he wanted to get away he wanted to get his family out of like the the you know, the spotlight. And uh so he's moving to Miami.
Leaving Paris Saint-Germain, turned down his old club in Barcelona, turned down Saudis, and that's so huge. He's gonna be working with Apple, he's gonna be working with Adidas. And this is I think this is the first time he's he's never played outside of uh He's never played outside of Europe before. No, so this is the first time. That's huge.
Woo!
So big. That's a so that's woof. He said if it was about money, he would have gone to Saudi. But so it's it's more than that. Good for him.
That's awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
So That's going to be Man, what a huge get. I bet Florida's so bad though. Does he know he can't say gay? Don't even say it. 'Cause nothing'll happen.
Okay, I was telling you about this story. I wanted to go back to it. We're and I'll break down a little bit. We'll well just in case they have like any kind of like indictment, the Trump indictment or something like that, that uh that's what they keep saying is going to be coming with the Mar-a-Lago stuff. The story we were talking about the story with uh the San Francisco Fire Department.
Where they had, I lost this. Where did I have this at? I have so many stupid tabs open. Two things. You had the San Francisco Fire Department.
That had raised you know, the pride flag and they saluted that and then they raised the American flag and then saluted that after. Right.
So A lot of people understandably are a little upset over this. As they should be. And they had I didn't even I saw later in the video that they had their uh The patches? on all their uniforms were also rainbow in that too. I just feel like that that's with all the stuff that you have going down in your city, that's probably like the thing that you just want to mess around with at least.
You know what I'm saying? Like, just fight crime. You got a lot of crime happening right now in San Francisco. Maybe just deal with that first. Instead of trying to sit here and act like you're, oh, look, we're You're saluting a flag based on how people have sex.
That's ridiculous. Stop it. People are done with this wokery, case in point. A new poll out of Gallup shows that social conservatism in the United States is the highest that it's been in about a decade. 38, and this is all in direct result to the Wokery, the cultural Marxism.
Everything from You know, targeting kids to this is you know, all the BLM stuff, the transgender movement, all of this. Thirty-eight percent say they are conservative on social issues. It's the highest since 2012. Forty-four percent say they are economically conservative. It's the highest since 2012 also.
It's on an upward trend. People are getting red pill, they're getting red-pilled over and over and over again by all of this stuff that we see. From the left. And when you when you bring in kids, um their schools and everything else and, you know, go start going after their Uh education, their safety in schools, that's a huge part of it. Man.
So they Are very, they definitely, and someone was saying, well, they don't ask people to define those labels. Oh, people know what those labels are. The left has defined them in the press. And in the media. They've defined them over and over again, so spare me, because we they've done that.
That is s significant. A friend of mine made the point that, you know, now you have These Republican Some Republican politicians actually seem to move away from talking about cultural issues, enough's enough. That is what is, I mean, seeing that play out in real time, that's what's actually moving. The goalpost here. I mean, it's Uh it's stunning to me.
That you would have anyone look at those wins and say, no, we need to move away from talking about this. We need to move away from that. But it's that's what's that's what's scoring these huge wins. For I mean, I think right-leaning people for politicians, for lawmakers. It's incredibly significant.
Alright, so. I thought that was very telling. And I wonder how long that trend can keep. I think as long as the I think as long as the The left continues with that. I think what you're going to continue, I think what you'll see, it may grow.
I think it may grow even more. Because it's not the right that's defining this, it's the left that's defining it. It's the left that's that's actually defining it. As long as they keep pushing this stuff and keep drawing this line in the sand. Then you're gonna see That number tick upward.
It's gonna continue going and going and going. It's pretty impressive. All right, so a few other things. We were talking a little bit earlier. I'm going to pull my notes up on this because there was a lot.
We were talking a little bit earlier. about Any kind of like Trump indictment and this and the Chris Ray, the caving to the House Oversight Committee. Because he's been forced to release these documents. I think he put it out in the skiff. I think they went to a secure location, right?
So This Unverified file that they had contains allegations that Joe Biden, when he was vice president, was involved in a bribery scheme with a foreign national. And so Chris Ray has now agreed. that document with everybody on Comer's committee. and he's refused And He was threatened with a contempt vote today. And so now he finally caved and turned that over.
And so that's so the FBI caved on it. And so now they've, and you've heard some want, we had Marjorie Taylor Greene. Who apparently saw this? You were playing some of the audio. I know Anna Paulina Luna out of Florida saw this as well.
You were playing some of the audio on this. And she was explaining how, and other the people who've seen it are saying, I they don't understand how this isn't a criminal charge. They just don't, they don't understand how it could be construed as anything, you know, anything but. How is it how is it not a criminal charge? And so That's if we have that, go ahead and let folks, because she was explaining, this was just a little bit ago.
Okay, I thought you were playing it earlier. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a five-minute it's five and a half.
Well, we didn't have to play all of it. Yeah, I know. But she was explaining earlier some of the stuff. I'll find that and I'll send it out to you in an email newsletter. Because that was that was very telling.
So the the Chris Ray stuff, we'll get more information about that. Play some of it if you want. Yeah, yeah, play some of it because we don't have to play all of it, but it's incredibly telling. This is like some of the first that we're hearing about from people who are actually seeing this. Was when Joe Biden, as vice president, had said that the prosecutor Shogun was corrupt.
They hired Hunter on the board to make the problems go away. That's what they specifically said. Hunter advised that they could raise more money if they bought a U.S. company.
So the informant was trying to do the right thing and trying to advise Burisma that they shouldn't go this route. They should hire an attorney, work out their problems that they were being investigated for because they were having other legal problems. And that's why they were being investigated by this prosecutor Shokin. The informant was advising them, don't go this route. Why would you buy another U.S.
company while you're under investigation? That's not a good idea.
So he's trying to tell them to do the right thing. The owner of Burisma said that Hunter was stupid and that his other business partner was smart. He also said that he paid $5 million to one Biden. And he paid $5 million to another Biden. And it was all a bribery to get Shokin fired and end the investigation into Burisma.
He also told the informant this is common practice in Russia and Ukraine. It's common practice. It's part of business there. That's how their culture works. That they will pay bribery money in order to get business deals done.
And that many businesses take that into account their budget basically. And we're going to talk more about this tomorrow since they're just now looking at this this afternoon. And it's pretty, it's, I mean, Again, how can there not be any charges for this?
Now, one of the other things that we're watching as it pertains to legal moves has to do with any kind of indictment that may come out with regard to the Mar-a-Lago raid, and that's with the reported classified documents that Trump had, et cetera, et cetera. Andy McCarthy has a really good piece. That he had that came out this morning, and he was saying that. Uh with this the The issue here Here's why, even if he did, let's just, you know, and again, look at this very clinically, even if he did have.
Some say that he messed up and he had stuff that he didn't show the paperwork on about declassification, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. The Espionage Act, and McCarthy had noted he had this piece on the Espionage Act discussing how it forbids mishandling of national defense information that is not classified information.
So even if something had been declassified, it could still be considered national defense information. You're looking at Whether they and they wanted stuff that was marked classified. Regardless of whether or not they had been declassified.
Now, here's where the problem comes in: because you had Biden that had the same issue. Biden uh well, except he kept it in how many different places? And it wasn't a secure place either. He kept it in his garage with his crackhead son. He kept it at the CCP.
Uh Well, it was. I mean, he went into business with them. It was what is it, like his presidential office or whatever that he had there. There were like three different locations. where he had this this information.
this these classified documents. You even had Mike Pence that had classified documents. And So you had Garland because he's Biden's AG. He had to appoint a special. Investigator, Robert Hurr.
So he had an important IG, appointed IG, Robert Herr, to look at Biden's. illegal doc classified document possession. But that they would recommend Charges, and if that's what ends up happening, if they would recommend charges for violating the Espionage Act or something even less serious. for Trump, but not like Biden? That's really weird and even for Pence because remember Pence got hit too with it He got in trouble, but they've been trying to drive this narrative, the administration, that Trump was reckless and that he had done it like maliciously and he knowingly and all of this stuff, whereas Biden cooperated, which that doesn't actually even get into the full history of it.
That's not even accurate because I was telling you about a story that I had saved from January that got into how he had already, like before they even showed up for the Ray, they had already been to Mar-a-Lago a couple of times. It is unequal application of the law, is what it comes down to.
So it's really difficult to expect people to take seriously any kind of charges on this and view them as being credible when it's not equally applied in two other cases where it also concerned one of which was, I would argue, way more reckless because you had it in the CCP, code-owned CCP building, and then you also had it in a garage with Cracky McCrackhead. I mean, just literally stowed next to his vehicle.
So, I mean, where's the consistency? You can't expect people. to take it seriously when you're not applying it equally. Regardless of how serious or legitimate the charges are, it undermines the weight of the charges and the credibility of the charges and the legitimacy of the whole thing when it's not equally applied.
So you can't sit here and blame people who support the former president for having questions about that when you created the environment yourself with unequal application of the law. It's like a hurt and rescue reverse in a way. It's like you're creating an unfair situation, a legally unfair situation, a politically charged legally unfair situation. And then you're getting angry at the people who object to this saying that they won't honor the rule of the law when it was actually you who didn't honor the rule of the law first when you violated the same law and secondly when you refused to apply it equally.
So That's kind of, you know, it's my thoughts on that. We have more to come as we wrap up the end of this hour. A lot more on the way today in stupidity on the way as well. Stick with us. Catch the Dana show noon to 3 p.m.
Eastern on DirecTV, Channel 347.
So, one of the headlines that we will. Dive into a little more tomorrow. We're at the end of today's program. This headline. Wall Street Journal and Daily Caller.
So apparently China has laid plans to open up an eavesdropping outpost in Cuba. This is from the Wall Street Journal, citing US officials familiar with the highly classified intel. The report is on how the spy base will focus on intercepting electronic communications or signals intelligence. From U.S. networks through the southeastern United States and reflects a brazen challenge to U.S.
sovereignty.
So apparently, China offered Cuba several billion dollars, kind of like Belt and Road, but with. Intel was spying. China offered Cuba several billion dollars to host this spy base, and the two countries have agreed in principle, according to the outlet. And officials said the Biden administration was alarmed when they discovered the informal deal. Oh, they discovered it after it was already done, the informal deal?
You know, you would think that when you were doing business with China and, you know, doing all of that, because it sounds like it was in the works for a while, that maybe, I don't know, you would have, while you were setting up your business contracts, that maybe that's something that you would have Kirby was out there denying this. He's denying that this is an accurate report. Do you believe John Kirby? No, I don't believe John Kirby, actually, but I'm just saying that's officially the White House's. Position.
I don't want this to be like a Bay of Pigs part two. I really don't. That's weird. I don't want to have to. Let's not have like 60s redux.
Let's not. Good heavens.
So we're going to talk about about this a little bit more tomorrow. I'll put this if you go to Substack, sign up for my newsletter, chapter and verse. It's in you can access it on Facebook, all everywhere. I'll make sure to I'm going to put this in uh your prep email for the morning so you'll have that 'cause it's a very I mean, it's Wall Street Journal. Wall Street Journal is not exactly like Daily Inquirer or National Inquirer or something like that.
it's um it's not CNN, you know, it's Wall Street Journal.
So it's they don't really have a habit of running with just, you know, sensationalism.
So, interesting story.
So, I'll put that in your prep. Make sure you sign up for it. In the meantime, today in stupidity. Did you know that you're hysterical and prejudiced if you just oppose kids going through the sex change operations or guys playing in girls' sports? Did you know that?
Really? That's what our press. That's our board president says. No? What's wrong?
For that, a person can be married in the morning in the United States. And fired in the afternoon by their employer because they're gay. It's wrong that the violence and hate crimes targeting LGBTQ people is rising. It's wrong that extreme officials are pushing hateful bills targeting transgender children, terrifying families and criminalizing doctors. Anyway, this guy.
This guy. Folks, that does it for us today. Find us on Facebook, YouTube, like and subscribe. I will be back with you tomorrow. We'll finish the week together, Friday.
