We think they're murder hornets. Nine One One Nashville returns. What's the homicide detective doing here? Three bodies on the ground with emergencies of biblical proportions. I will send swarms upon you and upon your people.

Let's find a place in the Bible. And somebody's unleashing them on Nashville. Brian Philippe joins Nine One One Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. Welcome to the program. Did you guys hear? About the polling, that's all nonsense. Here, see, this is why people don't don't want to do polling.

This is why they don't want to do this.

So, Wedgwood, have you heard of Wedgwood polls? I've never heard of them. They just literally came out with a letter saying that they were a fake polling firm. They made up their polls. These fake polls have been factored into New York Times.

And Nate Silver five thirty eight.

So they came out with a public statement. They said, "Quote: The polling industry needs major reform." Our statement below. They said that they were an experimental project to demonstrate the vulnerabilities, lack of oversight, and overall low barrier to entry in the modern political polling industry. They said why we did this. Having previously worked in the polling and research sector, they said we watched as the public's trust in polling eroded, and they talked about low quality methodology.

Here's one report on this. Listen, this is from Fox. Widely carried by major news outlets, now admitting that all those poll numbers were fake. It's not going to play well. Mark Meredith got the story.

Mark, what you find out, Mark? Bill, this is a bonkers story. The midterms are so close.

So you got the pundits and the public. They're closely watching the polls to see where the races stand. But there's one polling group, and I say that with air quotes because they faked their data all to prove a point. They say Wedgwood Polls, which I'll admit until today I had never heard of, says it was conducting an experiment to see if it could fake polls and get the media to go out and report their information. As fact, well, a number of news outlets, including the New York Times, cited that data in their polling averages, impacting their stories and their data.

We got a statement from Wedgwood. They said, "We hope this experiment sparks a necessary conversation about data integrity, media literacy, and accountability across the political research landscape." But not everyone is just laughing this off, saying, "Oh well, no." You've got Mallory McMorro who ran but dropped out of Michigan's Democratic Senate race. She. Says fake polls may have cost her supporters, and she posted.

Now here's the thing: Wedgwood polls—they're being accused of releasing this statement after a site called Fifty Plus One contacted them because someone gave them evidence that Wedgwood was fabricating polling data and presenting it as legitimate. And so they are accusing.

So basically, they're saying this is just them saving face. Do you believe that? I don't know what I believe, but bottom line is it's fake. And you had five thirty-eight New York Times and others that were using this.

Now you kind of see also why the polling is so important. There is one. Let me pull this up. There is one entity. It is another pollster who said that they are going to investigate them for faking their data.

They emailed them for comment this morning ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. This is what they're being accused of. This is what this pollster, Elliot Morris, says: "Quote, they're trying to cover up their fraud with the 'we were doing a social experiment' excuse." To be honest, I'm inclined to believe that. You don't think so? I think they were.

No, why? Why? Why don't Kane does Kane disagrees, guys? Why do you disagree? Tell us.

Have you heard of these guys before? No, of course. But but you know what? You don't have to. They were.

They literally have factored into, like, everything. Like New York Times five thirty eight. That was New York Times and five thirty eight. That was their choice to do so, and so these guys who they never heard of, but because they had polling data that fit their narrative, they decided to add it to their news reports.

So I I don't see how this is any different. Like we see the the public reports from Democrats who like to infiltrate primaries in order to change, you know how the the the landscape looks as far as the primary elections. I don't. I see. Even without this information from Wedgwood, I think that Democrats have, with polling, can manipulate it by saying they're Republicans and saying they're like.

I know that this happens.

So that's why I don't put any. I put very little weight on polling. Even though there's been a couple of polls that have proven to be correct, I still don't put that much weight on polling. I agree. There are some instances, some examples we have where it's been pretty close in terms of accuracy.

But I do think you make a good point in that these media outlets chose to engage in confirmation bias. But I also think, I mean, this is a money. This is the thing that you can make money off of. I, I, I also think that I don't know. Maybe they, because I mean, basically all of these people were were waiting fake data.

Higher than all of the other actual legitimate data, but they weren't doing any research on where they were getting their data. Oh my gosh, this is just so insane. I mean, this is crazy.

So I, you see why people don't. I got just look just while I've been on air, I've had three texts just while I've been on air. This is not. I'm not talking about this morning. I'm not talking about last night.

And I'm gonna get more later today. Three already surveys. Asking to be polled, and some of them I've heard of, some of them I don't. Like I've never heard of them. But then it makes me wonder too.

Like, well, what other polling firms are equally unvetted and methodology? Etc. Because a lot of what people don't realize when you're looking at a lot of these averages, like RCP gives you links to everything, but Cook does too. But when you're looking at some of these other averages, that like some of these big newspapers that that actually do, affect in Lorraine notes that in the Abdel El Saeed campaign, you know, one of the people that was going up against him, that Mallory McMorro, she said that those fake polls killed her campaign. Wedgewood polls.

Had admitted that its numbers were fake, and they have Talarico winning. They have them winning.

Now, who does that benefit? See, who does that benefit? This is just—you cannot. You really, actually can't trust anything. And this is one of the other things I just want to tell you guys real quick because I had an event last night, and I'm I had everybody asking me about early polling or early voting.

Everybody was asking me about early voting. Republicans don't historically fare well with early voting, and this is because I think it's I think that there is. A, I think it's a mindset. Like I have family members who were like, "We will not go vote until the day of," and or that. Then there are other people who were like, "I'm really nervous about waiting to vote day of because what if there's a car accident?

What if something happens? What if?" And I get that, which is not a concern that I had in the back of my head. But enough people were asking me about this last night at our event, so now I'm wondering. But Republicans like to go on day of. Early voting is going to be skewed towards Democrats because Republicans and Democrats behaviorally are different.

I mean, look at it: Democrats like to live in cities and highly condensed areas. Republicans do not; they have different preferences on a number of things. By and large, Republicans are not crazy early voters, so don't be dismayed when you see that, but instead. Use it as an opportunity to get people that are sitting on their keisters to get up and vote. You know, we just—I was telling you that we had a record number of people in Texas who are registered to vote, but we have one of the lowest.

We had a very low turnout rate. In fact, our low turnout was one of the reasons that our large red county, Terre,nt ended up going to Beto or Rourke back in. I think it was 2018 over Ted Cruz, which was insane. But that's how it happened. You got to be really careful with this stuff.

But I don't. But Democrats, they they always do better with early voting, but Republicans show up and make up the difference day of. But I also understand people nervous about waiting to the day of. I get it. As we roll towards headlines, our partners are bringing the program.

Next day on Hulu. Can I just play audio that feels like vibes right now? This is cut four.

So, can I just say, any one of you out there watching, your mother has made this face at you. That's all I'm going to say. Your mother, your father, at one point, they have made this face to you when you were getting froggy, and you know it. This is cut four.

On the golf course, sir. You own a lot of golf courses. Wait, wait, wait. Why it's quiet? Are you a sick person?

I know. Mr. President, Mr. President, I actually think there's something wrong with you. Go ahead.

Can I just have that quiet on loop forever? I just need. I need it as a GIF. I need it as like everything. How many of you?

You know. You know. You had your parent do that. You've had your mom or do go. The headlines were like Trump bares his teeth.

That face. Oh, look at that! Oh my gosh! Have you ever seen him mad like that? Have you ever seen him mad like this?

On the golf course one more time. You want to want a golf ball? Wait, wait. Quiet, quiet. Oh man.

Well, you know the guy was being disrespectful. It was a reporter. And he had called on someone else, and this guy decides to railroad this other reporter. Decides to talk over the person that POTUS was like, okay, ask your question because they had waited. I have friends who are in the White House press pool.

The person had waited their turn. They were following, and then this one guy was like, "I'm just going to railroad over you. I'm going to ask my question louder." So no, and that's why he was. I would do the same thing. I can't believe he doesn't have like.

Like a nerf gun or something, but the. I don't want to be press secretary, but I'm just saying if I was, I would be bringing a nerf gun with me, every day or a water gun, and if you ask a stupid question, you get hit. You know your question is dumb. Squirt, squirt, dumb. Or, I don't know what nerf gun would I'd have to actually.

That's something I'd have to put thought into. I can't believe that hasn't been done. I absolutely would do that. I would and I would sneak it under my clothes to the podium, but I can understand why he was frustrated. And also, you know what people don't talk about is that you know when and it's not like he he and he wasn't trying to because he you you hear him that's why he has sometimes these contentious exchanges with people in the press because he will call on someone.

To ask a question that's you know that isn't pretty much a known lefty. I mean, he calls. He doesn't care. He calls on those people all the time. He goes and seeks them out when he's going on Marine One.

I mean, we we all see this, but um, what isn't discussed is the other reporters going, "Oh, thanks for allowing this person to finish their question because they're doing their job too. They're also doing their job." Gosh, I just love that face so much. That is a mood right now. I feel like that's all of America. To the political class right now, do you feel that way?

This has been. I'm going to just say some things that are unpopular for a minute. This has been one of the most disappointing electoral cycles in terms of Republican campaigning that I've ever seen in my life. I don't know what these and the fact that you don't even have that Mike Johnson doesn't. And I would say.

Thune Johnson and Thune—they don't have Republicans in Congress right now to do anything—is just adding to it.

Now that doesn't mean for the people who read with pictures and have to use their hands and everybody else's hands to count past five. That does not mean I am saying don't vote Republican. I hate everything right now, but I most particularly am criticizing the lack of charisma up until the home stretch, and we can do that. And we can still vote for them. Both of those things can happen simultaneously.

Oh my gosh, it's so ridiculous. You know, I was talking about Vivek Ramaswamy yesterday, and I don't know who's advising him. I don't dislike him, but apparently, you know, you do have a couple people out there who read with pictures, or they were dropped on their heads or something. They're like, "Well, why are you going to can't vote for the Democrat?" People were saying, "Well, where are the records for this Amy Acton?" Guys, it is very easy to find out to get records in the Amy Acton case. Anything before nineteen eighty nine is literally like on microfiche, and you have to actually physically go to the courthouse to grab the records.

So, all of these people who are on social media flexing that they found this court record or that they have no idea what they're talking about because none of that stuff is up is digital. None of it's digital digitally stored. None of it is. I have a friend who was working on a story. She actually went to the courthouse.

So this is all stupid. My point is that I think when I feel like, and I want Ramaswamy to win. I don't care if the woke Reich wants him to not win because he's an Indian. But yet, I don't know. Awkward with him.

I want him to win. I just don't think that that was a good ad, and I know that it's very hard for the drive-bys to comprehend this. But you can think that and also not want the Democrat to win. The person who supported lockdowns and supported keeping your kids out of the classroom and supported eminent domain of your ability to earn a living and wanted to close your businesses and keep you locked up inside your houses for months on end. Yeah, I don't think somebody like that should be governor of Ohio.

So I really don't care what ad Ramaswamy comes out with. Do I think it's crappy to go after? And I explained that once already yesterday from personal experience. Yes, I do. I think it's bad when you weaponize family drama.

It's just never you don't need to do that. But I think this was a hail mary for him. I think he's doing it because it's a hail mary. I think he's doing it because it's a close race, and I feel like he he admitted and kudos to him. He admitted that was he said yeah that was my ad our campaign did it.

So he already is a step ahead of most politicians in that. You know the cover up is often worse than the crime, or worse than the offense.

So you know I get that, but the it it's just it's tough. I mean it is tough there. It is tough, and in Ohio, boy oh boy, they're really leaning. They're leaning blue. Brown over Houston.

They're leaning blue. That's the special election that they're having, and then of course you. It's you got the the gubernatorial race. It's very very tight, very tight, and I think it was a hail mary. Why is it so tight in Ohio?

This is what gets me. Why so tight in Ohio? Because this it's it's this is where our vice president's from. It should not be this close. RCP average is acting at three point seven.

It shouldn't be this close.

Now, why does the gubernatorial stuff matter a lot right now?

Well, it always matters, but one of the things, one of the reasons why, if you were reading the data, Republican dump, is because these leftists they were wanting to weaponize all of this stuff. And direct more power, get more gubernatorial offices, and direct more and more power to governors, particularly Democrat governors. They there's a very solid Democrat plan right now to take over as many governors' seats as absolutely possible. They have reshifted their strategy. They're not so much focused right now on.

Congress on Senate, and I mean they are, but they're really focused abnormally on governors' races, and there's a lot of money that's been put in these gubernatorial races. And when you look at the stuff that came from Data Republican, and you saw these leftists like, yeah, we would like to, you know, invoke martial law and then have more and more authority directed towards governors, particularly these Democrat governors, which they're looking to increase. That's that. It starts to make sense. Occam's razor usually is the best, except is the best explanation here.

But I do think it's it's. This is a. I feel like it's a warning sign. Vance did not perform well in Ohio when he ran for Senate. In fact, he nearly lost the race.

And I know this makes a lot of people mad, but it's you don't have to like it or not. For it to be any less true, Mitch McConnell did a multi-million-dollar bailout advance in his race in the lead-up. To the election in the home stretch, he saved his race. It was Mitch McConnell. It wasn't Teal.

It wasn't all these guys and or Carlson that were really urging him to run. It was McConnell that had to come in in the eleventh hour and do this multi-million-dollar ad buy. And we know we so look. We know who our affiliates are in Ohio. We know how a lot of money is spent, broadcast because we have to look at that for advertising.

So we know when people are like buying up chunks of airtime. And sometimes you kind of get an idea of what what stations are selling to run when your program is playing on that affiliate. They were buying up all the ad time there.

So Mitch McConnell came in with a lot of money to do that, and now you have the the governor, somebody like Vivek Ramaswamy, who was thick and thin with Vance and that whole crew, and now he's struggling so much in Ohio. I think one of the things that we can assume is that Tucker Carlson is horrible at getting people elected, and he's he has zero political acumen. He's horrible at picking candidates, and he's horrible at getting them elected because I don't know of a victory that he's really had yet, and he wouldn't have it if it weren't for Mitch McConnell, with Vance.

So my point is that Ramaswamy is struggling in Ohio for a number of different reasons, but also. Because there's, I think it's also has to do with Vance approval in that his home state, that does not portend good things for 28. Just going to put that on the table. That's a difficulty that the Republican Party, if they choose to go with with that as their nominee, they're going to have to deal with. But this, the ad, and everything that he did, a lot of people were saying, "Well, what are you?

What do you mean, Dana? Are you saying that he shouldn't?" People need to listen to the whole segment. Dear God, do I look like a welfare office? You can dislike the ad and still think what Amy Acton is going to bring to that office is eleven trillion times worse than an ad, than the offense of an ad. I don't.

If you are offended by the ad, great for you. I gave you the reasons why I don't like it, but if you think that that should outweigh all of the bad stuff that Acton would bring to that office, you're a mental abortion, and I'm not going to apologize for calling you names because you deserve it. Not that that's ridiculous. That's like saying, oh, Ken Paxton, I just don't like him. Let's have James Talarico win instead.

Let's have him go ahead and win instead. I mean, it's it's insane. I wanted to play this real quick. This is cut nineteen. Ramaswamy owns up to this.

I mean, he's you know he's not backing away from it. Listen. It is an ad from our campaign, and the thing that I want to say is that I would love for this race and this election to be about the substantive issues that impact Ohioans. And unfortunately, Amy Acton has been hiding from those issues. She won't debate me.

She doesn't allow cameras at her events, and I think her record of continuously, certainly during this campaign, I would say spread.

Some defamatory, disparaging lies about me and my family that does deserve to be scrutinized. I've never met Amy Acton, which is a regret. I wish I'd met at least my opponent. I've also never met her mother. She was not compensated.

I asked my team that question because we've got the question. She was not compensated. So that was addressing one of the accusations that the mom got money for the ad or something like that. Again, I just think never weaponize family drama, and I'm always super sus when it comes to family members that have been estranged from pe from people for like two decades, and then they start acting like they're the authority on that person's life. No, no, no.

But this, the again, go back to when she was during. Covid. I know we got to get moving, but and I'll continue this. But she was the director of the Ohio Department of Health during that time, particularly the early months. She wanted.

She even wanted the primary election postponed. She wanted everything shut down for who knows how long. Like everything, she ended up having to resign because people were protesting at her house. She was keeping kids out of schools. She was one of those who thought your business should be shut down, and if you were going to try to work, you should be fined.

She was one of the most hardcore people on lockdown that were in public that were in public office and public service. That right there, I don't care how offended you are about the ad. I don't care, and I say this as someone that has gone through it and has had abusive family members of mine, like one, weaponized by the anti gun lobby, to try to shame me for Second Amendment advocacy.

So, I know this better than anybody. That is nothing compared to what this woman would do as governor. Why would you abuse yourself twice? And we want to make sure that we hat tip to the people who make the show possible, and that is the folks at Berna. I'm not going to call it Berna Gun because it's not a gun.

Berna is, it's a defense tool, right? And they have different models. The CL is the only one that you need to know about for this purpose. That stands for the compact launcher. And so, what Berna does is it shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to sixty feet away.

The CL is about the size of an iPhone, so it's super concealable. And if you have a Taser or stun gun, great for you. That has like one or two rounds. The CL has a fifteen-round shot capacity per cartridge. It's easy to use.

Easy target acquisition. No recoil, but here's the kicker.

So I always carry, and I have no problem using lethal force. But I also understand that sometimes there are moments where you have to go to what they call gun-free zones, and nobody likes that. But Berna doesn't care about a gun-free zone because it's not a gun. Or if you're a college kid, you're not yet twenty-one, but you're not a teenager, and you live off campus, or you don't want to have to be a statistic on your college campus's parking lot. This is another option for you to consider for self-defense.

There's no background check. It does not care about gun-free zones because it's not a gun. There's no additional fee. There's no waiting period. You, it's legal in all 50 states.

Next day on Hulu. This soundbite from Bill Clinton. We're first off. We're who asked him. This is at a campaign event, right?

This was from literally yesterday, and Bill Clinton. He was at this. He was at this event, and he was saying, "I'm tired of the constant us versus them," and. I don't know. Just out of nowhere.

Watch. I'm tired of people denigrating Muslims for being Muslims. Yeah, who's doing that? The Koran says. Who was it?

And I first heard this from my daughter, who read the Koran from first stardust and when she was 15 years old. Does he have mashed potatoes in his mouth? And she said, "Dad." Read this. Allah put the different people on the earth, not that they might despise one another, but that they might come to know one another and learn from one another. There are bad actors in every faith because we're all flawed human beings.

Oh my gosh! But. The religious wars, the culture wars.

Okay, I'm almost where I can't hear anymore. He's say he's like quoting. He quotes the Quran, and he's like, "Yeah, you know, my daughter read it from start to finish at 15. I didn't realize that you allowed your daughter to read that kind of stuff." But okay, he's tired of people who's denigrating a Muslim for being a Muslim. That's such a cop out.

I'm tired of Muslims denigrating Americans for being American. I'm tired of Muslims denigrating Westerners for being Westerners. I'm tired of Muslims denigrating Christians for being Christians. I'm tired of Muslims denigrating Jews for being Jews. I'm tired of Muslims denigrating Muslims for being anything but Muslim.

I'm tired of the terrorism. Tired of them terrorizing Western nations. I'm tired of them terrorizing Christians in Nigeria and Sudan. I'm tired of them going after people in Paris. I'm tired of I'm tired of them, grafting off of and robbing and defrauding American taxpayers to the tune of billions here in the United States.

I mean, I could go on and on. I'm tired of them raping and trading girls in Rotherham. Tired of them chasing down girls in Scotland, and then making up stories when they defend themselves with a little hand axe. Tired of all of it. No one's dinner.

I'm not falling for that stupid gaslighting. Muslims need to stop denigrating everybody else for not being Muslim. Let's start there, because I will absolutely denigrate terrorists for being terrorists.

Now, not all Muslims are terrorists, but a disproportionate amount of terrorists are Muslim. You can get angry at that God's honest fact, but take it up with God, because that's the fact. You can argue it with Him. Good luck on that. I'm just simply sharing the truth.

So no one's denigrating anyone. That's a cop out. What that is meant to say is you can't criticize, for instance, El Saeed and his associations with the Muslim Brotherhood. Of course, I can see why. That would make you know.

Come to think of it, I can see why. That would make Bill Clinton upset because if you remember, his wife endorsed the Muslim Brotherhood.

Now she tries to argue, oh, she didn't. She was in Egypt. This was back in 2012 when she was Secretary of State, and she was backing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Now the Muslim Brotherhood had been banned in Egypt up until that point. She met with Mohamed Morsi in 2012, and he was Morsi was the candidate that was backed by the Brotherhood, and they had again up to that point had been banned. She literally met with Mohamed Morsi and endorsed him. This was in July of 2012. She did it in Cairo.

She traveled to Cairo as Secretary of State under Obama Biden, and she backed the Muslim Brotherhood candidate. She met with the Muslim Brotherhood there, and they kept trying to say, "Well, we weren't told. We weren't like explicitly. Yes, you were. You absolutely were.

You were giving remarks and in favor of him." And then there's all these allegations that she was funneling money from into here square with all of these extremist groups, etc. There was a lot of accusations, but she absolutely, completely. Absolutely, backed Mohammed Morris. She absolutely was backing, and she was bragging. She was, oh, she's Washington Post said, oh, Hillary Clinton's helping to create a new Islamic state.

Unbelievable, but there were other entities that were correctly note that were correctly reported. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the LA Times, I have this story saved. In my bookmarks from the time, so this is from February 2020. She actually they they originally July 2012. They updated it in 2020.

She had met with Morsi, and she was under the guise of pressing U.S. Egyptian relations, but she was there to back the the Brotherhood. I mean, that is something else. That is something else. And then Mubarak was toppled.

So Washington decided they well he's out so we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna get behind the Brotherhood. That's wow. And so I can see why now he's because his wife is implicated, especially with all of this discussion with Abdel El Sayed, and his family's documented ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, and his family's. Words of support for the Muslim Brotherhood, in which they were advocating for the Brotherhood. I mean, I get it.

He doesn't want his wife to be criticized. I mean, she. This was just crazy. You guys remember all of this because, again, they had been banned up until that point. The Brotherhood.

And then now they're they're they're back to being banned, but they had been banned up until that point in Egypt. They were banned in September two thousand and thirteen. Afterwards, an Egyptian court ruled that its activities should be dissolved. They seized all their assets, and they redeclared it to be a terrorist organization in two thousand and thirteen. And that was the interim government before they are at where they they they are.

This was a court ruling, Egyptian court. They went and they didn't just go after the Brotherhood. They went after all their their charities, their organizational activities, everything. And remember, they were outlawed first in 1948. Then again in 1954, it was reemphasized that they were outlawed.

They had similar crackdowns back during that time, so when Hillary Clinton went over there and was backing them, that was such a significant shift, because again, like I said, they had been last banned in '54; they had no power there, and you know, really, too, what a what an absolute faceplant from that woman, just like the reset. Remember, with Russia and Sergey, one of Putin's toadies, and she had this reset button that was misspelled that she delivered. Remember that, and then that all fell apart. Same thing.

So after she goes and endorses Morsi, he gets arrested. He dies in he dies in custody.

So they got they got stripped. Everybody fled to Turkey. They fled to Qatar. They left. They the the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt dissipated.

That was after Hillary Clinton face planted representing the United States, backing the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, and she was probably credibly accused of funneling money to different Muslim Brotherhood associations there.

So now you can see why, in support of Abdul El Sayed, Bill Clinton is coming out now and saying, "Well, we can't just go because he's trying to exonerate his wife before she's mentioned. He's trying to put it out there: Don't come after my family. Don't come after us." Even though they were one of the reasons, you can't tell me that the United States is backing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt at the time did not lead to further bloodshed and complicate and compound the problems over there to a greater extent. It absolutely did. She made an absolute mess of Egypt, just like she made an absolute mess of Libya, just like when she was backing dictators in South America with Barack Obama.

They were trying to nation build all over this place. And so here you have Abdul El Saeed, all these Muslim Brotherhood connections. I'll be damned. He's just like another little Hillary Clinton. Pretty amazing, right?

Pretty amazing. And I, I, he's been trying to. Didn't he like say something like the reason that he's named Abdul? And there's a lot of discussion about his name because there's a specific. Construct that a name that begins with Abdul must follow.

But he said that he was didn't he say that his dad named him after Paula Abdul, who was a Syrian Jew, by the way.

Something to that extent.

Now, who, by the way, what is Abdul's Al Sayed's ethnicity? Kane. No, no, no, Egyptian.

So when they talk of the Muslim Brotherhood, what branch of the Muslim Brotherhood were they discussing? The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Who are the groups that the El Sayed family is most closely associated with? The vestiges of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. I don't know.

I don't believe in coincidences. I'm I'm trying not to wrap myself in tinfoil the way Cain does every single day, but.

Sometimes I'm like, maybe with something like this, it's it's appropriate. I mean, it's just what a crazy coincidence, right? His parents are Egyptian. They, I mean, he was born in Michigan, but his parents were born in Egypt. They were born in Alexandria, and with their connections to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, which Hillary Clinton was over there years ago helping.

Very interesting, right?

Now he says, "Oh no, we're not, we're not associated." But you know what's interesting? When the posts were being made by his sister Iman in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood, and they've gone on for a couple of years. But do you know when they first started cropping up? Remember what year I said that Hillary Clinton was over in Egypt, hanging out with the Muslim Brotherhood, backing Morsi? It was in July of 2012.

Interestingly, the same year that his sister was posting all of their associations with the Muslim Brotherhood on social media, out for everybody to see. That's why we have all these tweets, huh? Guess whose mom was really active with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood in the 70s, trying to get it reinstated in Egypt. Oh, his mother, El Sayed's mother. I mean, I'm not saying that somebody is a Manchurian Canada, but damn, if there ever was a nominee, this one sounds pretty good, doesn't it?

And make no mistake, that's what they're looking to do with him. They're looking to fast track him, like the Islamist Obama. That's exactly why they're really circling and doing everything that they can to protect Al Sayed, guaranteed. We got more on the way as we move. 911 Nashville returns. What's a homicide detective doing here? Three bodies on the ground with emergencies of biblical proportions. I will send swarms upon you and upon your people. That's one of the plagues in the Bible.

And somebody's unleashing them on Nashville. Brian Phillippe joins 911 Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. Welcome back to the radio program, Dana Lash. With you, we're at the bottom of this first hour. I feel like a lot of candidates are getting desperate. We were talking a little bit about this on break.

A lot of them are getting desperate, and part of this problem is, it's. I think some of them have run weird campaigns. And then, of course, you have the issue of Abdel Al Sayed, who's an Islamist, whose family is intertwined with the Muslim Brotherhood, and this has created problems for him. And he's trying to walk away from it by claiming that everybody's racist for pointing this out. You're the racist for thinking that there would be an exception for you to cozy up to a terrorist group, and then have the audacity to impugn the characters of the people that are merely calling it out accurately.

Maybe don't be a terrorist simp, and nobody's going to call you a terrorist simp. I don't know how to put it. He actually, though, was at a campaign event, and he decided to do something very dumb, especially in something a place like Michigan. I mean, at least in parts of Michigan, you know, there's there's a lot of hunting up there. I have friends that have leases and have land up there, and they hunt up there a lot.

So he's at this event. He's at one of his campaign events, and somehow, I guess, somebody brought up the Second Amendment. And he decided to say this. Watch. I'm going to swear an oath to the Constitution.

Constitution has the Second Amendment in it. But the Second Amendment, just so we all are clear, even the most conservative folks, they hew to this idea called originalism, and originalism is the idea that you should interpret the Constitution in the context in which the Constitution was written. When they promised the right to bear arms, they had muskets.

So, yeah, everyone should have like equal rights to a musty. Got me. And then let's also ask about why the Second Amendment was written. What the Bill of Rights was intended to do. The Bill of Rights was about a compromise to protect people from government tyranny under a constitution, because the people who had were voting to ratify that constitution had just lived under government tyranny from the British.

So the idea was that you had the right to bear arms against your government should they become tyrants, and the way that we enacted that was in the Bill of Rights. Just ridiculous.

Okay, he just keeps going on and on. I don't need all this. I don't need all of his other mental abortion, a political compromise. They were the only compromise was they were trying to get ratification from the Anti-Federalists. I don't know what he thinks he's getting it here, but that's the only that's the only thing.

You had Anti-Federalists. Who and those were you had Federalists like well, Madison and Hamilton, and they were trying to work with people like George Mason, who was one of the heads of the Anti-Federalists. And that's so. If you're talking about it in a compromise in that sense, I guess historically that might be accurate. But this idea that it was anything other than that is stupid.

But let's go to his first claim. I've written two books about this. And I own I I don't even if people are like how many guns guns do you own, you can count how many you own. It's not a thing that I do, uh. But he's wrong on so many things here.

Here's and I tweeted about this too the other day. I I get so aggravated with these lawmakers that do this stuff. Because they repeat these things that are just ahistorical, where he says, "Well, you know, when they when they promised the right to bear arms, that was about muskets, as though a natural right is somehow anachronistic, and it's not going by his logic. Very simply, and then I'm going to correct the ahistorical imbecility of what he said, but that's like saying, 'Well, the only.'" Means to exercise the right of free speech at the time was either just with your voice, or it was with parchment and quill.

So, going by that logic. The right then is limited to the only available means of expressing it at that fixed point in time, so that means there's no free speech beyond again spoken word or parchment and quill.

So that means there's no free speech on broadcast. There's no free speech in movies. There's no free speech in music. There's no free speech digitally because we didn't have any of these things at the time of the founding. Notice how all of these people who want to put limitations on.

The natural right of Second Amendment. They they make it anachronistic without equally applying it to every other thing, every other natural right, every other thing in the Bill of Rights. Because to do that, well, that would invalidate him. We didn't have a mosque in the United States of America when the founders were talking about the free expression and the pursuit of religion, did we? We didn't have any Islamist control in the United States of America, so he might want to be very careful in terms of how he decides to a historically interpret the Bill of Rights from a hostile.

Perspective, but that's here's the key point that I want to make. If an argument is that a right is limited to only to the only available means of exercising it at that time, then there are a lot of people who don't have free a lot of stuff, right? Speech, expression, assembly. We can go on and on, but that's just the problem, right? Because his whole premise rests on, or his whole argument rests in the premise that.

The founders only knew about the capability of things like muskets, which we know is absolute garbage. It's absolute garbage because there is documented evidence of it. I mean, for crying out loud, when Thomas Jefferson visited France. He was so excited about the development, the French development of firearms with interchangeable parts, that he wrote two different, several different times actually. One most famously to John Jay, and then James Monroe, which comes into play later with the Monroe-Madison program.

But he was saying that he loved the idea of arms with interchangeable parts, and we should perhaps examine that from a national security perspective. He was the minister to France at the time. He met Honoré Blanc, who was a gunsmith in France. This is Thomas Jefferson, and Blanc was making these musket locks that had parts that could be swapped between guns. Right, and in 1785, Thomas Jefferson wrote about this to John to John Jay and James Monroe, and he said that.

It is something. It is an endeavor that he strongly believes that the United States should pursue, and he laid out his reasons for doing so.

Now, why is that important? Because that entire concept eventually helped contribute to the American to the Industrial Revolution and the American system of manufacturing.

Furthermore, it also took shape at national armories. You've heard of Springfield Armory. I'm sure you've heard of Harper's Ferry. That was that was founded under Washington in 1790s.

So, and it was later through. These the interchangeable part rifles. John H. Hall pioneered that during Monroe's pregnancy, and that also fed in directly to the broader industrial revolution in America.

So, but they knew that there were repeating arms. They knew this, and going to Monroe, Monroe actually went back and created a program. The Monroe-Madison program to jumpstart the production of said weapons—that was the program that essentially it's like kind of like what Trump did when he was talking about like we got to manufacture this stuff, very similar to that—that would help serve again as that catalyst. But they saw the value in it. They saw the—I mean—they were very well aware of the the the progression of firearms tech.

Now, what's more. Thomas Jefferson owned what? It's actually a rifle that he ended up giving to Lewis and Clark, and it was a Giardoni rifle. It's an air rifle that later was adopted by snipers in the Austrian military. This thing he had, he had several of them.

He had that. And they also were very familiar with the Belton gun. They were very familiar with the Puckle gun, and in fact, Ben Franklin. There was another letter that Ben Franklin wrote. This was to Washington about John Belton.

Apparently, this was a proposal that also kind of went through Congress because. Franklin was very impressed with the technology or the progression of firearms. He wrote to he wrote Washington, asking to commission rapid fire muskets like the belted flintlock. They were very aware that there was a lot more and that there was a lot more possibility beyond just that of muskets. I mean, the puckle gun, for crying out loud, was considered the very first machine gun that predated the writing of the Second Amendment by fifty eight.

Years, so how are you going to say you a historical imbecile? How are you going to argue that the founders were only familiar with muskets? That doesn't make any sense. It's completely unsupported by a shred of history, and it is embarrassing that anyone that sits here and postures as an intellectual would get up and say something so embarrassingly cringe uneducated. No one sane.

That you have to become the biggest advocate for the Second Amendment, but dear God, man, at least don't sound like an uneducated foreign ass, because that is embarrassing. This whole thing is ridiculous, and I am so tired of having the same damn argument with these people. Actually, I should say sixty-nine years, not fifty-eight. But yes, it is literally. I mean, it was the first the puckle gun.

Remember that? There's the the patent exists for that. You can go online and get the patent. It's a hand crank, revolving cylinder. You can go and see the patent for it.

It was called a defense gun at the time. This was in 1718.

So yeah, I did girl math. Actually, 69 years before 1718. That's when that.

So they knew this. They knew it. It was like a revolver-style volley gun, which really kind of you know laid the foundation and and and sort of helped pave the way. It walked so the machine gun could run.

Now these arms, there was a difficulty in adopting them into the wider, the revolutionary army. The the Continental Congress was entertaining the idea. Of getting a belt and gun, getting that, but the thing that stopped them from doing so was the cost. And there's a lot of letters that exist between these singular individual manufacturers and members of the Continental Congress at the time, so they were very well aware of them. This idea that the founders never took notice of these designs.

I mean, they actually they got so far as the Continental Congress was going to order 100 of Belton's guns, but the price was too high, and the deal ultimately, in like the second or third phase, ended up collapsing because of that price.

So this this idea again that the founders had no awareness. Of anything beyond a musket, so when they drafted the Second Amendment, that it was strictly limited to muskets again is a historical idiocy. And what gets me is that none of the press corrected him. All of the people who wrote about this story, the wire services, the state media, not a single one of them corrected this. And that is a pretty ghastly.

Not even a slip; it's purposeful ignorance.

Now, if this had been, say, Mike Rogers talking about free speech, what do you think the reaction would have been? Exactly, and it would have been deserved. But because you have leftists that are in these positions of covering these things. You don't see this. This ended up because somebody was recording it, and they put it out there, and it just ended up going from there.

It wasn't because it was reported on by any publication. You have these people who are in these positions who are supposed to be watchdogs for the people who are simps for tyranny, and they are so hostile to our own republic and the tenets of our own republic and our natural rights that they view this. As as something as enemy opposition, so they won't even report it accurately. They won't even show any kind of bipartisanship. They won't even show any kind of objectivity, and I think that's what's also horrible about this.

No, this idea, this has got to stop with these people. I'm done with it. And again, the Second Amendment is not fixed at a certain point in time. It is not an anachronistic right. It is not something that is only limited to to a certain sphere.

This idea, last time I'll say it, is that if an argument, if the argument is that a right is limited to the only to only the available means at the time to exercise it, even though I have demonstrated thoroughly that the founders were not only aware. Of repeating arms and the the progress in firearm technology and that they that they were trying to incorporate it desperately within their own military. But if it's only a right is limited to the only available means to exercise it at the time, then say goodbye to free speech, and much more. Folks who help make the program possible. Ryan Phillippe joins Nine One One Nashville. All new Thursdays on ABC.

Next day on Hulu. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five, guys. This headline: Portland nail salon gave a customer herpes for the second time in two years. An employee failed to wear gloves while giving a customer—well, don't get acrylic nails—a set of acrylic nails, and the customer got herpes.

But how isn't like the glue for that? Don't they put glue? They put glue on it.

So doesn't that kill? I don't know. They said apparently a drill bit and other implements were used, and a woman began having a stinging sensation on her right hand and pinky, and then she had blisters on her hand. I can I just be honest? I did not know you could get like hand herpes.

I did not know that. They said there was no cure for it, so she has to continue to monitor the outbreaks. And she apparently did not have it prior to getting her nails done, and so they did. It was PDX nails, and they said that they were not disinfecting the tools, especially used drill bits at the workstation, and they were not. Man, ladies always be checking your stuff, right?

You know, like when you go to these salons, like check everything. I am one of those people. Like I will check legit everything. I don't get fake nails, but I will. I will.

These are mine. I will check literally everything. Always be careful with that. Let's see here. The okay, a woman who did not have a shirt on was rescued.

Was rescued from a sign above a freeway in California.

So I feel like this could go along. I started following this Instagram account that tweet treats tweakers interacting with law enforcement as Nat Geo things, as National Geographic, and it literally has like the British, what's his face? Yeah, yeah, yeah, the narrator, and it says that this woman. It was three p.m., so like you know, probably near rush hour, and a woman was standing on a freeway overpass. And didn't have a shirt on, totally like naked, any K K I D from the waist up.

And it took two hours and thirty minutes of negotiations for crisis negotiators to convince her to surrender. They took her to a hospital for mental evaluation, and they reopened the lanes. But yeah, this needs to be on like Tweaker Geographic for real. Let's see. Also, okay, this is what.

A driver ran into a parked ambulance during a rescue, knocked the injured man off the gurney, and then the crew had to call a second ambulance. New York: A woman was arrested because she's drunk driving when she just plowed right. Edith Cairo, 32, just ran right into an ambulance, knocked the guy off the gurney.
