1 Samuel Chapter 25:1-25

Good to be here with you all today excited about jumping in the God's word with you today. Pastor Dave is talking about something that's very difficult not giving excuses when were being corrected.

I know that this is hard for me.

It's gotta be hard for everybody else to do. Not like to be corrected but getting away from excuses getting to the heart of the matter is always best for the believer to continue to grow. I think you missed both state that Bob appreciates the correction. Even today, like I said good I'm not to make excuses hate listeners listen in the last and see what God would do in your heart is verse by verse teaching through first Samuel chapter 25 verse in chapter 25 and also in chapter and in the county given the context of David on the run from Saul. David has been anointed to be king, but he's not walking in the position of King yet Saul is still King Saul hunting down trying to kill and in the midst of his wanderings and running from Saul and continues to do a really awesome indeed work in the heart and the life of David suggested an awesome thing to be able to get a glimpse into a man like David, a man that the Bible says is a man after God's own heart. David made some mistakes and whatnot but the Bible says he was a man after God's own heart, so is jump in her Samuel chapter 25 verse one says, then Samuel died, the Israelites gathered together and lamented for him and buried him at his home in Rome, and David arose and went down to the wilderness (Samuel was an incredible leader incredible godly man, he shalt Israel transition from basically a theocracy and governed by God to monarchy. He was an incredible profit and is referred to many times in the New Testament and here we have the news that Samuel died. It's interesting as we look at the life of Sammy.

It was just courageous, prayerful and he was even willing to lay down his authority as the leader of the country and and give it to Saul because before that he had been the prophet, the leader in the country. But he laid it down for Saul because he felt what the people wanted that in the Lord leading to do that.

Verse two. Now there was a man in Mayon whose business was in Carmel and the man was very rich.

He had 3000 sheep in a thousand goats and he was sharing his sheep in Carmel. The name of this of the man was in a ball in the name of his wife Abigail and she was a woman of good understanding and beautiful appearance, but the man was harsh and evil in his doings use of the house.

Verse eight. Ask your young men and they will tell you therefore let my young men find favor in your eyes fully come on a feast day. Please get whatever comes to your hand to your servants into your son David Jason.
