My gosh. You know, I got in here early this morning because I was here. Every Tuesday and Thursday, I joined Pastor Cardle and Lady Devon for an early morning prayer. And I was in here for that, but I don't have to get all dressed up for the prayer because it's just audio. And so then I kind of I think I just kind of got a little comfortable.

And then the final five minutes. But anyway, here we are. Glad to be with you. Great to be joining you. We've got a great program lined up for you today.

Let's see. Top of our number three. Ken Thornburg will be with us. Freedom Encounters. We're going to talk about spiritual warfare and the battle that we are in. The war we're in is a spiritual war and we need to really understand that.

That's why we bring Ken in twice a month. And he has been my mentor for the last 20 some odd years in deliverance ministry. And we're going to talk just briefly about what Paris Hilton has been testifying before Congress, what happened to her, and also the things that Kanye West had to say. So we're going to get into some of that. And I can tell you that satanic ritual abuse is real. I have prayed. I can't even tell you how many people through deliverance that have been through that. And it's very, very real. And the dark side is very, very real. But we'll get into some of those things.

And then some things to be thankful for as well. Bottom of our number two. Michelle Swinnick is back with us. We'll get an update on Maricopa County and what's going on over there and the election steal. Pastor David Lowry is with me top of the next hour. And we'll have some conversation with him about what's happening to our children in schools who had to stay on top of this issue. It's not going away.

And I'm really disappointed in the midterms that conservatives didn't stay with what activated so many in Virginia to flip that state back. I don't understand it. It makes no sense to me. We have a moral responsibility in the United States of America to stay on the Christian path. And I don't understand why we run from it.

It makes no sense to me. We'll talk about it. Well, I'm very excited as she's waited so very patiently. And I'm just really thrilled to have her with me. She is an expert in this field that we're going to talk about.

We're talking about Ukraine and Russia and what's happening over there. And I'm wanting to welcome to the program, Veronica Karilenko. Veronica, welcome. It's such a pleasure to have you. Thanks for being here. Hi, Greg. Thank you so much for having me.

It's an honor. Well, I know that you're used to being the interviewer and not the interviewee. So let me just kind of break the ice by saying that my goal is to make this the most interesting conversation in the coffee shop. Sounds good. Yeah.

So just imagine we're just, here we are, you and me, we're having a cup of coffee together and we're just going to have a chat. And let me start out by asking this so my audience gets some familiarity. Karilenko, that sounds maybe like that might be kind of a Russian kind of a name or a Slavic kind of a name. Give me a little bit about your background, if you would.

Yeah, absolutely. Well, Greg, Karilenko is my, well, I'm married to somebody whose last name is Karilenko. You know, this is why I have this last name. But actually, my maiden name was Russian. It was Chigirova. My dad, he is from Russia.

And when he was a student, he moved to Ukraine and said this is where he met my mom. So I'm half Russian, half Ukrainian, born and raised in a large city in the south of the country. It's called Odessa.

It's located on the Black Sea. Of course. It's been in the news a little bit lately. A little bit.

Well, yes. So I was born and raised in this beautiful city. It's absolutely gorgeous. It's very cultural, very diverse in a good sense of word. Lots of people from all over the world who spoke different languages.

And, you know, they actually were with each other, they were together for centuries. And this is why Odessa has always been very peaceful and tolerant, again, in a very good sense of words, to other cultures, to other languages, people with different backgrounds. And it's a port city. It's a port city. So you have a lot of travelers coming in, you have a lot of commerce that's going on. Yeah, that makes great sense. It's kind of like one of the great cities that Paul would travel to, right?

When he was spreading the gospel, he would go to cities where there was a lot of trade because he knew that if he preached the gospel there, and the travelers understood it, picked it up, they would take it with them. And spread the word further. Yeah, yeah.

Yeah. So in several, well, actually, it was 12 years ago when I moved to America. And sir, I am so blessed to be here. I still have family and friends back in Ukraine. I still have relatives in Russia. So I speak to all of them just to get their perspective on what's going on.

Okay, so let's cut to the chase and kind of get to that. It's an invasion. I mean, to my way of thinking, Putin has invaded the sovereign state of Ukraine. You're talking to both Russian relatives and Ukrainian relatives. I know that in Russia, there were a number of people that tried to take to the streets to protest what Putin did.

But talk to me about what's going on. Let's start in Russia. What's going on in Russia?

And what's been the reaction of your relations and the people you've talked to there? Well, it's very tough. And if you look at the polls, and people were asked, do you support in Ukraine? And it was beginning of February. 70% of Russians said that it was unthinkable. Because many people grew up in Soviet Union and Soviet Union was evil, of course.

But no doubt about that. But people were taught that we are brothers and sisters in the big happy family of the Soviet state. But it's interesting that, like in the case with my family, there are a lot of mixed couples and mixed families where mom would be Ukrainian and dad would be Russian or mom would be Kazakh, and dad would be Russian again, or maybe somebody else.

So it's a very typical situation. So having a war, it was something that many people could never comprehend, like how could it happen? And it's especially the case with Ukraine, because more than half of Ukrainians do speak either Russian or both languages, and maybe just a tiny part in the West speaks only Ukrainian language. So it wasn't melting pots, honestly, in Ukraine. So it was like being dragged into a civil war, right? I mean, in a manner of speaking, right?

Brother against brother, father against... Yes, practically. And like you said, there were demonstrations, there were protests, and all over Russia, saying like, Putin, what are you doing? Russians understood that they probably could not win this war too, and they knew there would be sanctions that would hurt Russian economy, and actually it did materialize. And there is this misunderstanding about the impacts of Russian, of international sanctions on Russia. They say, in many even conservative outlets, they say, well, sanctions did not hurt Russia at all, they're not hurting Russia, and it's only Europeans who are suffering, but this is not true. And shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine, nearly 40 countries responded with coordinated sanctions. They had three aims, to cripple Russian economy by limiting the ability of banks to access dollars and the United States financial system, to curtail experts of high-tech goods and services, to reduce Russia's ability to fight the war, and three, to target allies of the Kremlin and businesses. The unprecedented economic coercion has not been able, of course, to obliterate the Kremlin's resolve for war, or its economic capability, but look closely, and you will see that they are succeeding in systematically crippling the country, and people are feeling it, and their standard of living has reduced dramatically. And there is this recently released report by the United States Treasury and Commerce Department, showing that since last autumn, semiconductor imports have fallen 70%, slashing Russia's production of hypersonic ballistic missiles, surface-to-air missiles, and other precision weapons.

Choke point technologies such as bearings vital for aircraft, tanks, automatic firearms, heavy artillery, submarines, have also been targeted and are in short supply with a few substitutes. So hold that for just a second, because we're going to be hitting you right too, but I'm following what you're saying about what the sanctions have done. What I want to ask you is, there are those who are expressing concerns that by all of this sanctioning and all of this so on, that we are pushing Russia into the arms of Xi and China and Iran and strengthening a triad. I saw you shake your head. That's good. I want to get your response to that.

We're going to take a quick break. I want to get your response to that. I also would love to dive into the response to Putin, because Putin appears to have aligned himself with the Russian Orthodox Church. The supposed leader of that church has supposedly come out in favor of this war and of Russia's invasion of the Ukraine.

My very special guest is Veronica Karilenko, and we're talking about the situation that's taking place in Ukraine. You were talking with us, Veronica, about the effects of the sanctions that have taken place, and you were kind of chronologically going through some of the issues that Russia is having. I believe you mentioned that 70% of the semiconductor trade had ceased, so they didn't have the tools that they need, obviously, for their missiles to be functional, right?

That's really what we're talking about? Well, yes, and it just has such a major impact, and there are other spheres to be considered. For example, by June, the global Russian elites, proxies, and oligarchs' task force in America has frozen $30 billion of elite assets, and restrictions were subsequently expanded to military finance, parliamentary officials, and their families. And alongside this, there is a very concerted effort to strip Russia of human capital as well.

Many foreign institutions have stopped collaborating with scientists in Russia, and the Biden administration has invited Congress to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act in order to encourage Russians with advanced degrees to immigrate to the United States. So, some Russian elites, including oligarchs, want to stop the brain and money drain, but the structure of Russian oligarchy divided between business and politics limits influence over Putin. Following the Russian leader's money trail is also notoriously high, of course, because it is either scattered across a network of enablers or is hidden in offshore tax havens or state-owned enterprises. But Russian oligarchs, who have impact and influence over Putin, are not happy that they are being hurt so much. And again, the Russian economy was already in very bad shape. So, when they say that Putin is such a brilliant economist, he's not. He just hooked Russia on natural resources exports. They practically do not produce anything high-tech.

They cannot compete in the modern world. And right now, we're seeing that the economy and the whole country is crumbling. And when they say that Russia will collapse, I believe that it will if the process continues in the way it's happening now. So, I think it's imminent. And I think that Putin will be overthrown.

And considering the Ukrainian advances in the battlefields, I think they are searching to realize they cannot win this war. So, let me ask you this. So, let's talk about the advances.

Again, I just sent you the email from someone. And I've heard this a lot. Now, I don't hear it in mainstream media. But see, that's part of the issue. A lot of mainstream media, as you and I both know, can't be trusted on a lot of issues.

So, then you get a large group of people who question anything that they hear. And they've believed a lot of other information, stuff that you and I might consider even to be Russian disinformation. One of those pieces is that we are driving Putin into the arms of Xi and Russia and that whole situation.

Can you give me any thoughts with regards to that argument that well, we're going to drive him into the arms of our enemies? Well, I don't think that it will happen because our enemies are much smarter than Putin, apparently. For example, China and even North Korea and Iran are not fascinated with the war in Ukraine. They do not want to have a business with Russia. And China's, for example, largest producer of semiconductors and microchips said, we will not be selling any of our stuff to Russia because we do not want to be heard by secondary sanctions. And Putin knows that. So, no, I don't think those claims, well, they can make these claims, but the fears are unjustified.

And in the long run, they know that Putin is a failure and they will not have business with somebody who is failing so badly. We're going to go into a break, but when we come back, if we could, one of the other things that's talked about is, oh, could this be World War III? I appreciate her taking some extra time out of her day to stay with us. Veronica Karolenko, we're talking about the Ukraine issue. Now, you mentioned that you feel as though Putin actually is sailing a failed ship, so to speak, that more than likely he is going to lose power.

And that is because the economy there was already tanking even before the war took place. Something else that you mentioned in the break that I'd like you to elaborate on a little bit is the connection that you feel that he has. A lot of people are looking at Zelenko and saying, well, you know, he's met with the World Economic Forum and he's had conversations with him and so on. I look at that and I say, here's a guy whose country is being attacked and he's looking wherever he can find resources to defend his people.

That's how I look at what Zelenko is doing. He's not partnering with people. He's just simply saying, I need help. I want to repel them.

Who can I turn to to get that kind of help? Your suggestion is that Putin's efforts or goals to create a new Soviet Union is, in fact, in line with something that Klaus recently said in his speech that he gave. Talk to me about that a little bit, would you?

Yes, absolutely. So Klaus Schwab, who's the chairman and the founder of the World Economic Forum and notorious globalist organization that is looking to control the whole world and every single person living on this planet. They are looking to enslave humanity through the Fourth Industrial Revolution, when every single person will be controlled and basically have no personal liberties. If you look at Putin's regime, this is exactly what he's doing. Klaus Schwab last week said that they're looking to establish a multi-polar world order. If you listen to Putin's speeches, this is exactly what he's talking about also. This is the vision that they have for the world, when the world is divided into big clusters, such as the EU, such as the Northern America with Canada and Mexico, and then some form of the restored Soviet Union would just be a part of this multi-polar world order governed by the supranational institutions. We know that Putin has a personal connection with Klaus Schwab, by the way, and I think he was one of the alumni of the Young Global Leaders Forum. Putin was actually trained by the WEF.

Schwab always says what a great guy Putin is, and Putin says often that the WEF is such an important forum to resolve global issues and so on. I want to give you just one example. For example, we all know how terrible and how unconstitutional, how anti-freedom COVID mandates were here in America. Greg, they were implemented all over the world, and those restrictions and mandates were the harshest in the countries with the higher concentrations of the Young Global Leaders. Russia, by the way, was one of them. Russia did and is have vaccine mandates, and they had restricted freedom of movement of their citizens in large cities.

For example, you can go, just like here in New York and LA and San Francisco, Seattle, you couldn't go and be a part of the social life without you having a COVID passport, without standing where you are, without confirming that you had a COVID vaccine. This is exactly what we saw in Russia, but this is only a tip of the iceberg. Putin assumed and exercised dictatorial powers throughout Russia unprecedented since Stalin's time.

He murdered Russian citizens through a number of FSB around Chechen terrorist attacks in order to whip out public support for invading Chechnya. Putin was hailed as pro-life in the West for signing a law restricting advertising for abortions, but still Russia maintains the highest abortion rate of any country. Say that again, so he restricted advertising? Only advertising. You cannot advertise abortions, but everyone knows that the government still provides free abortion services, free of charge.

This explains that. Russia today is every bit as degenerate, if not more so, as the flashpots of the West. Think about pornography, child pornography, prostitution, child prostitution, sex trafficking of women and children, drug trafficking, drug addiction, alcoholism, suicide, homicide, other social pathologies. They are rampant throughout Russia. Putin has been in power for 20 years and the country is degrading. My dad is from Russia. I visited Russia every single summer when I was a child. I saw this country degrading and people becoming so impoverished.

It's heartbreaking. Considering that Russia has the most abundant natural resources of all countries on earth, they are just stealing oligarchs. Putin cronies. This is crony capitalism.

It does not benefit people. What kind of Christian leader does it? I was just going to ask that. How is it that Putin and Krill... I have a pastor who is now in the Ukraine, who takes care of orphans, who had an orphanage in Russia. When Crimea happened in 2014, the orphans in Russia were killed by the Russians, which probably doesn't really surprise you based on what you know about what actually goes on over there.

He has been talking about the real effects of this war based on what he has been seeing and the damage that has been done. So the Orthodox Church of Ukraine separated itself from the Russian church, specifically because of the influence of Putin and what was actually going on. And Krill has aligned the Russian Orthodox Church with this Russian dictatorial authoritarian government. Can you talk about that for just a second?

Well, yes, I can talk about this for more than a couple of seconds. Well, yeah, actually, Putin uses this decoy. He tries to create this image that he's such a Christian leader.

And he regularly takes part in those photo-ops at the churches and with the parish and holding councils. But, you know, this is what dictators do. They try to justify their power and say that they are in power because this is God's will. But it's not.

And talking about patriarchy, I think it was a couple of years ago there was this infamous image. There was a warhead, a nuclear warhead, and it's what's called Satan. This is what it's called. And Krill, he was just, you know, pouring the, how would you call it, holy water on the nuclear warhead. It's called Satan.

Wow. Like, what else do you need to know about the situation with the Russian Orthodox Church? And Krill was the one who blessed the war against Ukraine and against Ukrainians. Consider the number of civilians killed in Ukraine. Officially, the number is 6,200. This is according to the UN Human Rights Office. And probably the estimates are likely far lower than the actual figures.

How Christian is that? And in total, human rights in the UN's monitoring mission in Ukraine has so far recorded and independently verified 16,000, nearly almost 17,000 civilian casualties in the countries, which includes more than 10,000 injuries. And hundreds of children are killed. And Putin says that, yeah, this war is about demacification and demilitarization of Ukraine. But these children and these civilians, they were not Nazi. They were not enemies of Russia.

And they posed no threat. And the initial investigation has uncovered evidence of war crimes committed in Ukraine. And the crimes include indiscriminate targeting of civilian buildings, executions, and sexual and gender-based violence committed by Russian soldiers. And then there is a number of misplaced Ukrainians.

It just reached 14 million in early November. So human suffering is enormous. We got to take a quick break. Folks, this is not, look, if you're over there to quote unquote liberate people, you don't do it by shooting husbands and daughters in the head and then raping the mother so severely that it requires 27 stitches to put her back together so that she's spending now the rest of her life in a sanitarium.

I want to take my perspective into what was going on in Russia, what's been happening over there, the failed economy that existed before any of this happened and the fact that Putin has had 20 plus years, if he was going to create this great Christian institution of a state, then why is pornography rampant? Why is child sex trafficking rampant? Why is prostitution rampant? Why is Russia the number one place for abortions in the world?

Folks, these are not the attributes of a Christian nation. Crime is a very significantly real and problematic issue. However, it's organized crime and it's mainly run by former agents of the KGB. Gee, where did Putin come from? Oh, that's right, he was KGB.

Veronica, would you disagree with anything that I just said? No, Breg, you said it all correctly and having family and friends in Russia, I feel so sorry for them. But many of them do realize who Putin is because they live with this every single day and they see it, they have this first-hand experience and their life is very, very hard. You see how many people flee Russia when Putin announced that 3,000 men will be drafted, mobilized to fight in Ukraine. As many as 30,000 young men fled Russia because they are so demotivated and because they see no purpose of dying in Ukraine, fighting Ukrainians, who again, as I said in the beginning of the show, would previously consider their brothers and sisters. I mean, this is very telling. Russians are waking up, but because of the persecutions and because Putin is in such a police state. There you go.

Thank you for mentioning that. I think that's a good place to leave off with regards to the Russia situation because that's another thing. That was a charge that was laid against Zelensky. Zelensky was creating a police state in the Ukraine and Putin is doing all these wonderful things. So I think leaving it right, let's stop for just a minute there because I do want to talk about Ukraine. They're accused of being a bunch of Nazis, so Putin is supposedly justified because he's doing denazification. Ukraine is the place where all of the crime and all of the graft and all of the bad stuff has taken place. It became a focus during the Obama years in particular that it was identified as being this crime capital and all the bad stuff that was happening around the world seemed to find its way back to some element within Ukraine.

Can you take about three minutes or so and talk with us about that? Yes, of course. There are indeed pro-Nazi groups in Ukraine, but they are such a fringe minority that you don't even mention that. You can find those fringe minorities in any country.

You can find them here in America. By the way, they are called in Tifab and they are praised here by the mainstream media. We've seen what they do here in America, but yes, they were indeed. It was a huge concern for the Russian-speaking Ukrainians when the Yanukovych regime was overthrown in 2014. But these people concerned the very oligarchs that took over after Yanukovych. These radical people were sent to the predominantly Russian regions of Ukraine for them to be killed by Russian separatists. And many of them were, because even the new Ukrainian regime saw them as a threat to their stability and they were.

So if there are any leftovers, probably there are. But their existence does not justify the invasion and it does not justify the killing of civilians. They were never ever a threat to Russia and to Putin's regime. Are the Nazis in Ukraine?

Well, probably a handful. But they are so insignificant and all these people. Again, I speak to people, to my Ukrainian friends, to my friends and to my girlfriends who I went to school with. They took their little children and went trying to find safety and trying to save their lives and lives of their children. They were pro-Russian all their lives.

They speak Russian language. They are not Nazi and their life was absolutely devastated. And what about these people who died? And I mean, this is an unforgivable crime. All right.

Putin does not appear as though he's going to give up unless he's toppled. And hopefully he will be toppled. And of course, you know, the Ukraine must defend itself. Zelensky has to keep fighting this fight to protect his people because Putin has already shown what his intentions are.

If he gets control of the Ukraine, it would be devastating to the Ukrainian people. I think there's no question about that. And I think you've given us a pretty good picture as to why.
