cliche but it's it's not it is truly not and there's a lot of deception that is going on I was in arguments all over the weekend regarding some different topics and kind of going back and forth with regards to those I have some grave concerns about some of the things that are being propagated that are out there that have become the storylines and and they are they're they're divisive they are placing evil people on pedestals where certainly evil people don't belong and so I we need to but it but we have to start with this personal temple so this prayer is gonna address you individually me individually and then our families our households our communities and our surroundings and and we're gonna take back some spiritual space that I think the enemy has has has believed that is his irrespective of the results of of this very critical election Dr. David Wormser is gonna join us as I mentioned we'll talk about Iran we'll talk about Israel we'll talk about this anti-semitism and and dr. Wormser is very good about history so I I'm gonna suggest that we might get a little bit into this whole Hebrew Hebrew black nationalism that you know Kanye brought up and and the idea that that the Jews are are running all of the businesses and banks and so you have to understand folks that that that rhetoric is the precise rhetoric that was used by Stalin in communist Russia it's the exact rhetoric that was used by Hitler in Germany in Nazi Germany and and it and it is the canary in the coal mine and I'm going to show you some stories from just picked up over the weekend with regards to some of the stuff that's happening regarding Christian persecution that continues to happen right here in our United States of America and some of the ways in which we are under attack and we're not cognizant of of it Rick oh absolutely and you know pastor Greg one of the challenges is we all know that Kanye is a new Christian he's not you know he would be here professed faith maybe a year and a half ago and hasn't necessarily surrounded himself with people who who are theological maybe theologically sound and it is a one of the dangers as we get as we bring people in and people become new Christians and they're enthusiastic is we have to make certain that they they get a grounding a basis of the historical that we're grafted on to that tree like through Christ and it's a and there's a lot of bad things throughout history that have been done and people like Kanye are very easy to mislead because they don't know and so we have a we have a problem it's a it's a problem that has it's not a new problem but it's a problem people get exploited and we have to and as Christians we have to teach what Christianity is and its core and who we where we come from and now God's kingdom we have to teach them the Old Testament and the New Testament not just the New Testament and it's a it's a big task but we can do that with with love and and correction where corrections needed when people get off course but that's a it is a big problem I had a big long discussion about it Friday in my office as well well you know I'm gonna I mean because I was in the music industry and and had and watched a number of different artists come through and and and watched how you know a new name or or or a high-profile new name would would suddenly begin you know dabbling in or doing things in or even or even have a a conversion of sorts and immediately you had individuals who would lock on to that and they would be and and it would it would be the business it would be about the money you know one of those one of the one of the original ones that that comes to mind is now this is predating my involvement I was a young person back then but is BJ Thomas you were young person I was a young person of course I gave you know the name young I've always been a young person right but but BJ Thomas and I remember my dad and I going to a concert rain job raindrops keep falling in my head guy right yeah yeah and remember remember that I don't know if you remember this or not but in the 70s he he came to faith and made a profession of faith and then immediately the the you know the the producers and the and the and what-have-you grabbed him and threw him up on stage now understand this is a man who who was a seasoned entertainer but now they grabbed him and threw him up on stage and threw his faith out in front of everybody and his life out and in front of everybody and you know here's you know here's here's here's Christian and you know he talks about how how challenging that was how difficult that was how hard that was on and he he burned out walked away and then later came back but there was destruction you know one of the one of the most famous ones honestly is was tell I believe his last name is Templeton but he's in the in the in the case for faith Lee Strobel and and that was the guy that preached alongside Billy Graham in Europe one of the saddest saddest stories that you will you will encounter is his story and I would encourage people to read a case for faith with these troubles right at the beginning and I remember his first name but he was he was preaching evangelist with Billy Graham and he fell away from faith and it was a and you know he was one of the you know how Christ talks about seeds they're thrown in the ground but some and some they take root and they they grow root grow green but then they die out with our son and he was like that and it was a and he's an old man was talking least trouble and he was so remorsefully just he just wished in some way he could get he could go back to having faith again and how much he missed how many blessings he missed his life and how kind of almost in despair he was because of that and it's just a horrifyingly sad story and because he's somebody who intellectually knew what he was missing he saw Charles Templeton is is was was was his name and and there's a yeah yeah that the interview that he did with him is in the case for faith the documentary and and you can see the the pain in his face and in his heart over it and and again this isn't a pile on at all but this is an example this was an example as a matter of fact they they they they were saying when when Templeton and Graham arrived back in America and Templeton was from England but when they arrived back in America the the the consensus was and then the fruit had been come Templeton was yeah Templeton was the guy Templeton's meetings had had the fire Templeton's meetings and had the revival it was it was anticipated that Templeton was going to was going to lead this great American revival and he saw a picture of a starving person in Africa on National Geographic and and because of of what he didn't know what he didn't have in his arsenal what he what he what he didn't understand it was you know my wife and my son and I were were visiting over the weekend about the seven sons of Skiva and the and the sons of Skiva protection and Rick I know you you off to ask me this question so I'm just gonna go ahead and and give the answer but I did preach in India this weekend we we were blessed to be able to bring our our pastors together we had I you know what I need to look and see if if pastor Samuel has has sent me his his update yet let's see I'm looking the update not yet but let me put it down right now anyway we had about 65 70 pastors that were there and and and the word just remind people yes they've had a canceled meeting because of threats because of violence yes occurred attacks of her yes on pastors who attend their families and so we've got in Punjab province in India this seek seeks are actively seeking to not just disrupt through use of kind of covert means but they are actually physically sending people to attack and kill your pastor so 55 to 60 pastors participating is an amazing act of faith just so people understand just what that means well well no and and let me and let me I guess add add to the significance of that by saying that the day before our event happened the day before we we had this meeting there was a very well-known Hindu leader in the community that was shot to death by my gosh they they shot him to death and so Saturday during the day in Punjab there was a mass protest by the Hindu people who are also of the minority compared to the seek in Punjab but they came out and our pastor Samuel who is the my leader there went to the family of the Hindu man who was murdered to express our condolences and to pray with them and to express the love of Christ and they were very very moved by by his action and and by that expression it made a a a gigantic impression upon them you know that's a sometimes you know and pastor Samuel has been is trained and he's a and this is his vocation is what he's been called to do by by God but understand sometimes each one of us when we find people in tragedy going out of our way provide you know you know love is not just a casserole providing them a you know a word of prayer whether they go to your church or not whether they believe or not just offering can I pray for you may I may I be may I be your intercessor and is a and it's astonishing how many people when they're in pain or just you know they're they've been their entire life has been thrown off a balance and the in a white life that was inbound honestly believe the Christ is even more off a balance and this is those are the times when people listen and so by providing the that prayer so that's what how to power that prayer but it's something that every single one of us can do in our own lives we don't have you know we have to be used to praying we have to be you know right comfortable with with faith but the fact of the matter is you don't have to be a pastor it's not the pastor's job to go out and pray with people it's it's all of our jobs to go pray with people and that is a and that shows community and it shows the love of Christ in a tangible way that can't be they can't be measured in and in dollars and cents and that's how you can that's how that's how in this place of pain that we're in matter what happens in elections all the elections are secular in this place if we don't get America back on a Christian footing a moral Christian footing it doesn't matter what happens in elections elections bias time that's what they do so what's so that's something that every single one of us can do is comfort those in pain and show the love of Christ and invite them to to learn more and that's a invite them into community because people are desperately alone in this internet world and invite them into a real physical community that is something that every single person is watching every single person is listening to do wheelchair and he has a first world problem okay a first world problem right now while standing while walking this is a man who's confined to a wheelchair for years while standing and walking he over 50 pounds no matter who you are if you don't grab it correctly you can anyway so there you go all right it's a whole balance thing let's talk about election all right yes yes we've got we've got some some big election stuff that's going on it's interesting you know you you've got a you've got a whole lot of media that's out there right now that is starting to kind of say yeah we think maybe there's going to be this red thing going on and almost in an effort I feel like to get people you know on on on the conservative side well don't worry about it don't go out and vote because the red wave is going to happen and then everything's going to be okay I don't know maybe I'm misreading this but but I think there's a danger in that there is a danger in that and here's the solution to that every single person is watching every single person is listening needs to get into your contact list what we used to call Rolodex and get into that and anybody who is like-minded even if you haven't talked to them in a year two years send them a note drop them a call urge them to make certain they get out and vote and get their contact list but this is no longer about the politicians it's no longer about the commercials it's no longer about any of that stuff it's now about you the individuals out there taking control of your country by not only voting yourself not only making certain that your family votes but making certain that your neighbors your friends anybody who's like-minded people you know from church anybody's like-minded get out the vote that is how how America gets back on its moorings where we reestablish insanity and if we don't do that if we wait we say you know don't complain because the difference in this is I'm just gonna be very blunt if the Republicans get a 15-vote majority in the house and a two-vote majority in the Senate they're not gonna be able to do anything and people are getting frustrated because all I expected all this stuff to happen you can hold them accountable and expect that we've got a better chance of something happening in terms of actual fighting against the agenda that's been shoved down our throat for the last two years you have a better chance if Republicans have 245 in the house 250 in the house and that number is doable that number is in the realm of possibly right now right now real clear politics projects 227 seats are leaning Republican mean likely are gonna happen Republican and about 170 in the house on the Democrats side but there's 33 34 there are a toss-ups and quite honestly I know districts that are that they're saying are likely Democrat districts likely Democrat districts that are toss-ups right now based on the polling that exists in the campaign one of those districts I know Joe Biden is visiting today Joe Biden doesn't go and visit a district that is a that's a likely Democrat district unless that districts in play what that means is if we vote we can have a transformational election a transformational election and the reason for that is simple that didn't we just we district in the country and the Democrats made a mistake they believe that they were gonna win suburban women and so they passed so and they believe that they were going to continue that they're gonna win Hispanics sizable margin and now they're discovering that because they're they're crazy policies because the crime that's running rampant because what's happening kids in school that they're not and because their immigration policies and they'll never tell tell you this but because their immigration policies they are on the precipice of losing Hispanic votes in record numbers they are in the precipice that they've turned back the advantage they had with suburban women and it is now and they've redistricted districts in a way that makes it so there can be a transformational election because the voters they expected both of them and certain percentages are rejecting them and that is why this can be an election like none we've seen since back in 1964 so folks you want a transformation election you want to save the country I don't care if your people if your friends live in Colorado Nevada if they live in Connecticut anyone New Hampshire any place from anything around the country right it does not matter no matter blue they this perceived or her reddit is perceived yep contact them encourage them to vote their vote matters this year more than ever because districts are at play that have never been at play before so folks but it's up to us it is it is a hundred percent and I just
