Dick Morris predicts a large Red Wave

I know he's just got a crazy schedule, especially right now. And it's my sincere pleasure to welcome to the program, Dick Morris. Dick, welcome. Good to have you back.

Well, thank you. It's a very exciting election. And there's every evidence over the last few days of strong Republican gains in the generic ballot, which is the most significant indication of a congressional vote. The Republicans have moved out to a seven-point lead from a four-point lead. When it gets to be 10 or 12, you're talking about an unprecedented wipeout.

And at seven, you're talking about a huge gain. In a couple of key races, we've moved ahead. OZ is now in the latest poll, three points ahead of the corpse he's opposing. And Nevada Laxoft is, after a series of polls that indicated a tie, now has a four-point lead. In Arizona, the last poll shows a tie race, Masters moving into a tie. And also, my understanding is that Herschel Walker appears to be up by a couple of two, three points as well in his race in Georgia.

I think as many as five points. And with Walker, the important thing to bear in mind is that if it is forced into runoff, which is very possible, the undecided vote is heavily white. And Walker does get 75% of the white vote and 25% of the black vote.

So a white electorate in the runoff would be very good. So right now, I think it's reasonable to think that we're going to win the four most important Senate seats. We'll keep our majority with Pennsylvania, we'll keep our 50 with Pennsylvania, we'll win Nevada, we'll win Arizona, and we'll win Georgia, that would give us 53 seats. When we go into fantasy land, which for the Republican trend is really what we're talking about, I think there's a very good chance that we can win New Hampshire, we're only one behind.

We've been closing rapidly in Connecticut and in Colorado. And even Washington State is not out of reach. The dynamic in Colorado is really funny. The reason we have a pretty good chance to win is that Trump has dumped all over our candidate.

He's saying that he's a rhino and not worth electing and so on. And that's probably helping him in the state of Colorado, the Republican nonetheless. Well it's interesting, you know, another area that I think could be significant is the governor's race in Arizona with Kerry Lake. I mean, she could have a huge impact in helping us with regards to our efforts to secure the border if she's elected in leading the way for like, let's say, you know, Abbott, maybe hopefully that will give Abbott the gumption that he needs to take the stand that's necessary for Texas.

Yeah, I think that's true. And Kerry Lake is a camera and will be a key player in the future of the Republican Party. But there are other governorships that we have a very good chance of winning. The New York governorship is on a razor's edge at this point.

It really means the challenge as Eldon is going to win. The governor's race in Pennsylvania, as he says in the past weeks, shown a big Democratic lead. I mean, the country was catching up, and it's hard to believe that you could have this kind of shift toward the Republicans in the Senate race without it affecting the governor's race. In Wisconsin, I think we're going to win that, the takeaway.

In Minnesota, it looks like that will be a takeaway. And in Michigan, the race is also on a razor's edge between Dixon, the Republican, and Whitmer, the incumbent Democrat. Especially when you have these elections coming down to the wire, the advantage goes to being insurgent, because it's like saying, you're going to be married to the same woman next year.

And when you say I'm undecided, it doesn't say good things about the marriage. When they say, do you want Gretchen Whitmer to continue as governor, and you say I'm undecided, that's not good news. And finally, there are some strong indications of a better Republican turnout. I was critical in the last time I was on your show about the failure of Republicans to vote in early voting.

But they've largely been closing that gap. When I was on your show, they voted 50 to 30. Now they lead in early voting about 43 to 38 or something. And particularly among blacks, black men, and Hispanics, and young people, the Democratic turnout is seriously down in the early voting.

And when the polls ask people, are you enthusiastic about voting, Republicans are 15 points more enthusiastic than Democrats. So all of this is pointing to an unbelievable wipeout on November 8. So then the question, Dick, that comes into mind is, is normally we have what's considered to be a lame duck session, and oftentimes they don't even show up.

They kind of step away or what have you in, you know, latter November, December, before the swearing in in January. This time there are many threats that that's not going to be the case, and that they're going to try to push some of the bills that this House has passed that are sitting in the Senate. And we'll have these senators, Republican, quote, unquote, senators that have no incentive not to push the agenda.

Your thoughts with regards to that? Well, it's only a lame duck session, be a dead duck session, because a good about 20 of these senators would have been we're not, we'll not be returning. I think that the major issue that will dominate the lame duck session is the continuing resolution and the debt limit, where the Democrats are going to try to lock in the Biden spending to the end of 23. And we are, the Republicans are going to try to change it immediately. And on the table there are the 87,000 IRS agents, the vast amount of spending in the so-called inflation reduction bill, all kinds of Democratic goodies will be on the line. And I think that the Republicans may be willing to shut down the government rather than approve the budget that locks in the spending. Is for those 20 that are going to get bumped, and I know you've got to go here in just a minute, but do you think that there's enough incentive for them, at least as it relates to any kind of future business or otherwise perhaps, that they will be incentivized not to cross the line and join the Democrats? Yeah, I think most of them are sincere conservatives.

Okay. I don't think you're going to have, I don't think they're waiting to jump because of being held up to opportunism, I don't think so, I think most of them are very sincerely conservative. And also the unity of the Republican Party so far has been extraordinary, and I don't think they're going to shatter that.

Very good, very good. So your prediction then at this point, looking a week down the road, is that it appears that this red wave that's been being discussed is likely to be an even greater wave than we might have even anticipated. Yes, I think we'll take both houses. I think we'll take the house by the late range of 60 seats.

I think we'll win the Senate with 53, 54 or 55 Republican senators. And then at that point, that sets up a showdown between the legislative branch and Biden's executive branch. Well, yeah, the more immediate effect will be that the Democrats will tell Biden to get the hell out of the race, and I think he's going to have to do that. I would expect Biden to pull out before the beginning of the year, and that will open the floodgates for the Democratic candidates. And the interesting thing is the fulcrum in their campaigns will be, who do we blame for 22? Well, and obviously I think Biden becomes the number one guy, right?

You pin it on him? What are they going to say of the candidates running for president now that Biden's gone? Who's more to blame? Hillary will say the left went too far left. The left will say the moderates didn't pass our agenda.

Bernie Sanders stuff was still on pass, and that'll be the food site. I write all, in case you don't want to follow the news in the next month, just read my book, The Return. It's all there, and I predict everything that's going on.

We'll talk about that a little bit later on in the program, and in particular, we'll talk about it as it relates to Elon Musk and freeing the bird, and I've got another, I've been, by the way, suspended for life from Twitter twice now. It says you are suspended for life, I mean, that is actually, when I pull my Twitter up, it actually says that I am suspended for life. Ironically, of course, now with Elon Musk having taken over, and those that suspended me being fired, it's possible that I'm going to get my privileges back.

We'll see what happens with regards to it, whether or not he can turn that around. But I just want to finish out this segment, and we're going to take a break now by just saying again, we won't have any kind of good wave, God wave, conservative wave change in this nation unless we the people who hold to the biblical values get into the booth and vote. You've got to vote.

Able-bodied men who fear God, that's our instruction that we are asked to choose to pick able-bodied individuals. And I know there's a lot of debate that happens about some of the people that are currently in the position, your general election. And you may have some questions, I certainly do, as it relates in Pennsylvania as an example. But I'm going to put my trust in the work that grassroots individuals have done, even in places like Pennsylvania where there is a grassroots movement, and grassroots people have done a lot of work, and where there is a political party whose platform more greatly aligns with my biblical worldview. And that's the issue. And that's an issue that as a minister and as a pastor I can speak to.

And I have a responsibility and an obligation to share such with you. And so in that, I have to place my vote for the party. And I know the history regarding two-party systems. Our founding fathers frowned on that ideal. Certainly they frowned on a democracy which is more about mob rule and more about the majority and there's a drastic difference between representative government and a democratically quote unquote elected government, a democracy.

Yes, there are individuals that are elected, but the mindsets are completely different. In a democracy you have exactly what we're seeing right now, and that is that you have an overbearing federal entity that is trying to push its will onto the people. And I think the correct word here would be eviscerate their rights, destroy them, and take them away. And we talked about that a little bit with Rick Manning in our first segment when we talked about the disabled Marine, a disabled honorably discharged veteran Marine whose benefits have been stripped away because he has been accused of seditious, let me see if I've got the words here, seditious conspiracy, not charged, not convicted, I'm sorry, charged but not convicted, charged but not convicted, simply charged with seditious conspiracy without any form of evidence but simply because he was a member of a group called the Proud Boys that have been vilified by this Department of Justice. And you know, I mean, I'll have to get my pin out of, I had taken it off when I washed the shirt over the weekend, but I have a pin that is the CSPOA, the Constitutional Sheriff's and Police Officers Association, CSPOA, I'm a member now of the CSPOA, Richard Mac's organization. You've heard from Rick Manning and I talking. I was talking as I went into the break about an out-of-control Department of Justice who has charged a man with seditious conspiracy. My friend Larry Klayman is representing him, and maybe I'll get Larry on a little bit later on in the week and he can talk about this situation and what he's doing to fight back on behalf of those that have been charged and so forth. David Sumrall, I'm going to be working on getting him on later this week today as well.

It's 1 Peter chapter 2, 1 Peter 2, and it's verses 9 and 10, but you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and holy nation, a peculiar people that you should show forth the praises of him who's called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. The United States of America, we the people, the US Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, every bit of this was begun, founded, and started. We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, to ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America, in order to form a more perfect union, a work in process, establish justice, why?

Because they had been living under a tyrannical king where there was no justice. Under domestic tranquility, look around us and think about the impact of these words. We see murders and violence and rapes and theft and all of these behaviors in our streets, lawlessness. This isn't domestic tranquility, ladies and gentlemen. In common defense, we have an unguarded and open border. Drug cartels running rampant, illicit behavior, sex trafficking, rape, preying upon the poorest of the poor, fentanyl coming in, terrorists coming in.

This is not providing for the common defense, providing for general welfare. We're forcing sex transitions on children in grammar school. We're having experimental conversations. George said something about, you know, it used to be that the idea of sex education didn't even come into play until at least 10th grade. And I remember that. It was called health, health sciences, just general health sciences. And now we are perverting kids and trying to convince them that their biological sex is inappropriate. I said here on this program 11 years ago, and this was back at the point when the percentages, because George made a statement anyway, I don't want to focus it on that, but this is a statement that's been made many times and was made many times in the past. Well, you know, there were a lot of people that were LGBTQ, but they were afraid to come out of the closet. The population and blind surveys where no one's names were taken, none of that, for years, over and over and over and over, was roughly 2% or less of the population. At best was engaged in the LGBTQ kind of lifestyle, and of course they kept expanding the alphabet in order to try to get more people labeled and to be more, quote unquote, inclusive of this perversion.

So 2% for years, but I said here on this program, you can go back into the archives and look it up. If they start putting this into school and teaching it in school, once you legalize it, once you bring marriage in, once you legalize the marriage thing, and that was the big battle that we fought for years and years and years in California, because we saw this coming and we were trying to get a constitutional amendment that said that marriage is between a man and a woman, because we saw what they were trying to do, the legalization of marriage. It's not a marriage, because LGBTQ is about nothing but a sex choice and perversion.

It's about sex. And you can see it in how they sexualize children and objectify them. It's disgusting. But we tried to get this because we understood that once it was legalized, once it was codified, they would be able to get to our kids. They'd be able to go after our children. And that is exactly what is happening.

It's exactly what they're doing. This does not promote general welfare, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. There's no general welfare when you start attacking children and their biology, and then you attack their sexuality, and then you try to begin to groom them, none. And then secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity.

Where does that come from? Well, it comes out of the Declaration of Independence, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The law is for those that practice lawlessness so that those of us who are lawful can say to them, you can't do that, we're not going to allow that, and you're going to be brought to justice, and what did the Constitution say, to establish justice, to ensure domestic tranquility, to provide the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty. Liberty does not exist in a lawless culture. And so we know that the law is good if it's used lawfully. What I am pointing out to you is that the law is currently not being used lawfully. What we are seeing now is tyrants that are abusing the legal process, and it is we the people's responsibility to elect good, godly people, I'm going to go into that next, even out of the New Testament it says it.
