It's nice to see you. Yeah, a number of times. A number of times. Well, there's a lot for us to discuss. I was giving you my little laundry list and you were like, yeah, but don't forget about, you know, and of course we do. We have the 9-11 anniversary is going to be coming up and now we are, I guess, experiencing the closure of the 9-11 museum. And of course the Afghanistan debacle and so on that took place with regards to that. And so many lives impacted by what we did and didn't do in the pulling out of Afghanistan. And so many lives impacted here by the decision to close a museum and, you know, how horrific are this administration and which is really just an extension of the Obama administration.

Yes, absolutely. You know, Obama did tremendous damage in his eight years and now he is continuing his reign of terror through Biden, who doesn't know which way. What's up and what's down. He doesn't know left and right.

That was a bad example, but I'll vote with you on that. He doesn't know left and right so well because exiting the stage is like a major challenge. You don't know what's going to happen. He's waiting for Jill to come and get his arm.

It's terrible. I mean, you know, as a minister, you as a doctor who deals with people who have real challenges. Obviously, there's a there's an empathy and a sympathy. You know what I'm saying on on on a human level but but by the same token.

This guy is making decisions, and these people are doing things that are injuring and damaging hundreds of millions, if not billions, literally, ladies and gentlemen, when you think about the population of the world and the impact the United States can have, either for the good or for the bad on the entire world, he's impacting billions of lives. Yes, absolutely. You know, the history books, if there will ever continue to be history books. Well, you know, we'll just laugh at this.

I mean, this could be a movie or a cartoon. But, um, you know, it's really well, first of all, today is this for a second to stay on Biden. You know, I warn people starting from when he was campaigning that he had encroaching dementia, it's been encroaching ever more ever since. And, you know, once how I'm able to I've never met Biden, I didn't do an exam of him, I offered him to do a competency exam, he hasn't called me yet.

Imagine that. But the thing is that the way that I know about all this is because because as a forensic psychiatrist, I do competency exams in cases, right, you know, like when someone to determine if someone was competent is when they signed their will, for example. Sure. By extending that, you know, one could say that all of the executive orders that he's been signing willy nilly since he began being president, really, you know, one could make a good case, a good lawyer could make a good case, that all of these things are null and void, because he wasn't competent at the time that he signed them. You know, that's interesting. I need to connect you with a friend of mine that that might actually be interested in taking that case on.

That would be wouldn't that be great? Oh, man, I'm telling you. Well, and then and then you stop and think, okay, so who's he damaged? Well, I mean, the citizens of the United States. So I actually could be a plaintiff in that case, who could be the who could who could easily suggest that I have been damaged, you become the expert witness to help us with that case. And then all I need is the attorney and we filed a lawsuit. There we go against the federal government in federal court for damage. Yes.

That would be a shocker. I certainly worth doing. You know, I have determined.

I mean, I was serious when I wrote it. I offered him to, to take this test. He would have been wise, by the way, Dr. Carol Pardee, I didn't mean to interrupt you, but he would have been wise to have taken that up. Because here's the thing. No, once once he was your patient, now there's a confidentiality. So there's certain things that you wouldn't be out here talking about necessarily. Right?

Because he's your patient. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, if I was, look, if I was Biden's pastor, there are things that I couldn't say about Biden, because because I'm his minister. Okay.

That's right. But there's unfortunately there's a slight difference. Well, maybe not, unfortunately. The difference is that when I work as a forensic psychiatrist, testifying and doing various tests, psychological tests, and so on. These people are not my patient.

Okay. It's, it's a different kind of relationship, you know, they know that this is for a legal thing, and that it's not going to be confidential. Ah, well, that would that would be why he wouldn't take it up. Now, now, now, now, it would be nice if he actually did become a patient, and you can help him to kind of straighten some of this stuff out and get his head straight. That would, you know, that would be another alternative, right?

Well, yes. I mean, the thing is, the first step is taking the test, proving that you have some kind of cognitive deficit, not you, but him. And then going to a neurologist to do tests and an internist and so on to determine what kind of dementia it is, and then treating that. You can't cure dementia, but you can treat the underlying causes. But anyway, getting back to- Yes, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go off on a rabbit trail, but no.

I like your idea, definitely. But I did want to talk about, you know, today's August 30th, which is one year anniversary of our debacle of a pullout from Afghanistan. And it ties into what we're talking about in terms of dementia, because one of the symptoms that he has of dementia is a very severely diminished abstract or analytical ability. So when you're not able to think, to have abstract thinking, you can't hold various alternative strategies in your mind at the same time. It's like juggling.

And you can't really juggle all these thoughts. And he certainly wasn't able to do that, which contributed to what he did in Afghanistan. Although and apparently, you know, there's a new report that came out about that, and he apparently was told by various generals and people from the intelligence community and so on not to do what he was doing. And the agreement that there had been wasn't just a carte blanche agreement. You know, he said, oh, well, I had to do this.

You know, it's all Trump's fault, right? He's the one who set that agreement. And so but that's not true, because the agreement was based upon the Taliban doing certain things. And obviously, from the very beginning, he could see that the Taliban was invading and not holding up to their end of the bargain.

And so he didn't have to pull people out. And in fact, that is what set the dominoes falling and all our enemies realizing that we don't really have a leader. And that's when Putin came and China and all these, you know, all our enemies are ramping up, because they saw what happened in Afghanistan. Yeah, well, and then the debacle that it created for India, as an example, and I do, as you know, I do a lot of ministry in India. And so our pastors up in Jammu and Kashmir, where we have ministers are obviously directly impacted by the events and by what happens in Afghanistan because of the border. You know, and then Afghanistan also has a tremendous influence in Pakistan.

And we do a tremendous amount. I mean, that's where our main headquarters is, is in Amritsar, Punjab, India. And so all those outlying areas that are near the border of Pakistan have been under constant assault by Islamic militants, and just Islamists, jihadis, you know, that are going into those villages and taking women and killing people. And it's been a horrific, the repercussions in the region have just been horrific. Yes, um, you know, people in America, I mean, this kind of leads into the 9-11 Museum, because people in America don't realize because it's not in the mainstream media. You know, maybe your listeners realize, of course, but they don't realize, Americans don't realize for the most part, all of the attacks that are going on all over the world by terrorists in India, in Europe, in Africa, all over. And, of course, so people here, you know, think, oh, well, terrorists, you know, terrorists, those are the people that stormed the Congress on January 6, those are terrorists, right? I mean, that's what Biden and Obama want us to believe, that those are the real terrorists, those are the terrorists we have to watch out for, the January 6th trespassers. And they have been trying and have been, you know, doing a decent job of taking our attention away from the real terrorists, the radical Islamist terrorists.

So Americans are walking around, you know, in denial and oblivious to, you know, oblivious also to the plots that have been foiled here. There are plots going on all the time from terrorists. And in fact, we are more in danger from terrorists than ever before. We have now over 80,000 Afghans spread all over America. Some of them are our friends, but there are a lot of jihadis that snuck in because there really wasn't any vetting.

And then we have this president who doesn't know which way is up. And we have totally dropped our guard in terms of thinking, being concerned about radical Islamist terrorists who are the ones who have not given up their plan to take over the West. And let me just add, and then you keep flowing, but Salman Rushdie was attacked, ladies and gentlemen, in New York, in New York, okay, by a johani. He was attacked by an Islamic terrorist, but this is a part of Islam. This is what they teach the mosques in Boston, the mosques in New York, the mosques in Texas. There's evidence of mosques all over the country that are teaching Muslims to kill Americans, to kill Christians. And Rushdie was someone who had fought was against him, and they attacked him, and he survived.

He's probably going to lose his eye. They're saying now these are life-altering wounds that he suffered, but he got attacked in New York. I just want us to understand that this isn't like, and I respect what you're saying that, you know, there are attacks happening all over the world. But, my God, there are attacks happening right here in the United States of America, and the news refuses to recover them or call them what they are.

Wow. It's all about why we shouldn't forget 9-11 and how to make children more resilient and a whole bunch of other things that people need to be reminded of, which kind of gets us back to the 9-11 tribute museum is the one that has closed. And it closed because there weren't as many visitors because of the pandemic. That really did a tremendous damage on the visitors. And so they were sinking into a financial hole.

And it's like, you remember Kitty Genovese? In 1964, there was a woman who was raped and murdered in front of her apartment building in Queens. And people were looking out the window and thinking, oh, it's horrible. And nobody called the police, although now some people are saying they did. They just didn't get through.

But whatever. They stood by. It's called the bystander effect. Since that event, there's a psychological phenomenon now called the bystander effect. And that is basically what happened with the 9-11 tribute museum.

Everybody thought everybody else was going to donate, and in the end they did not get enough to be able to survive. But the question is, why didn't our money, our taxes, go to preserving the 9-11 tribute museum instead of going to 87,000 IRS agents, new agents, to tax the middle class? And instead of giving the college loan forgiveness program, there's a whole bunch of things that we could talk about that are much less important than keeping the 9-11 tribute museum alive. Now, there is still the 9-11 National Museum or the Memorial Museum, but they both were important and they were very different experiences. And the 9-11 tribute museum, the one that's closing, was more aligned with the families and the first responders. And they had them as docents. And so when I was there, I was led around by a man who was a first responder and who developed cancer because of all the time that he spent at Ground Zero.

That's what happened to so many people. Absolutely. And so that museum gives a much more personal touch to the understanding of what happened on 9-11. So the current administration wants us to forget about 9-11.

They use their taxes for other purposes instead of something that is really most important. They don't want to have us be concerned about radical Islamists, as I was saying before, in part because when Obama was president, he really invited a lot of the people. I won't say a lot. There are politicians on the left who are aligned. I would say it's a very strange bedfellows because they're aligned with the radical Islamists because of the fact that they both have the goal of destroying America. Amen. Absolutely.

Absolutely. There's no question at all that Islam and communism have the same goal in mind, and that is the destruction of America because as much as they want to rally against it, America represents God and Christianity. It always has and it always will so long as we keep that spark alive, and that is their goal. Their goal is the destruction of that, and they see us as the ultimate enemy. Yeah, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I'm really, really glad to be on with you. It's good to have you.

It's good to have you. You know, one of the stories that Reverend Jim shared the last time that he was on was actually about a woman that reached out to the clinic while it was literally on fire. Yeah. And one of your, you know, staff that reached back to her and found her the help that she needed so that she could, you know, choose life. Yeah.

And how much that reflects the heart and the passion of Compass. Yeah. And the compassion you guys have for life.

And I see that sign over your head, all humans are equally valuable. That's right. Psalm 139, right? Fearfully and wonderfully made. Yeah.

Yeah. So right from the very beginning, God declares mankind different from all of the rest of his creation. Humankind, mankind is the capstone of creation. We're not just evolved apes.

We're not, you know, more nimble giraffes or rhinoceroses. We are man and woman made in the image of God. And that's where we get our human value from. This whole abortion debate is a debate because of the rejection of that fundamental truth, that there is a God and he's made mankind in his image.

That's where all of our value gets from. So all these arguments that we get into around morality, all these arguments we get around to around different justice issues, the fundamental why behind it for the Christian is always, we're made in the image of God, therefore you cannot kill innocent human beings in the womb. That's the fundamental truth that motivates all that Compass Care does.

God literally took man up out of the dust and formed him.

That's right. And then the Word of God says from that point he formed us and literally places us in the womb. That's incredible. And when you look, you know, if you've ever had children, I've had five kids, and I've been blessed to have been present at the birth of all five of them. And to follow that process, and if you've ever seen a baby in the womb, I mean, it's, you know, when we had our very first kid, you know, it was like, you know, I'd had, you know, animals, right? You know, as a kid, you have animals, right? Sure, sure. But they don't, you know, they have a little personality, but it's not the same thing.

It is now. When you've got a kid, it's like this kid just all of a sudden is this like their own person, and they're like talking to you, and they're doing things, and you're just like, oh, wow, mind blown, because I'm dealing with a little mini person. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And there's so much about being an image bearer of God, but all, you know, we look at anything that we can agree on as a society that are still wrong. You know, think about something like rape. Everybody says, yeah, rape is wrong.

That's wrong. But the Christian says, why is rape wrong? Genocide. You know, we agree as a society, thankfully, that genocide is wrong, except for when it comes to the preborn child, of course. We agree as a society that, you know, race-based chattel slavery is wrong.

Okay, great. But why? Why are all those things wrong? All those things are wrong. To your point is the Darwinian evolutionist does not have an answer for that.

Why? Because time plus chance does not equal human value. You cannot get human value from chaos. You can get human value from an all-knowing, all-powerful creator God.

Yeah, absolutely. And that's where you and I get our value. Well, and understanding that then begins to give us peace, comfort. Even in the midst, you know, we were talking about, you know, hey, how you doing? Oh, you know, and it's like, you know, well, I'm good. But, you know, in light of everything that's happening, right, you know, war around the world and threats of war and, you know, what's happening to children, I mean, I'm aware.

All these things that are going on in our culture today, everything that's happening in our world today, you can't just be, oh, you know, in a hunky-dory bliss. But if you know Christ, if you know God, then you have this inner sense of he's got this. Yeah. And he's got a role for me to play in this.

And there is a larger picture and a smaller picture that are both playing out. Yeah. And I can have some comfort in knowing where I'm going. Yeah, absolutely.

Absolutely. And what you're describing is the security that we have in Christ because of what he purchased for us on the cross. This is the message of the gospel says that I'm safe and secure from all alarms. You know, this is, you know, regardless of what's going on out there.

And he calls us to be faithful, right? This is our job is to be faithful in the midst of turmoil, in the midst of moral insanity. We are to continue to speak truth. And that is what I'm so grateful for, the men that God has given the courage to continue to speak truth in a nation where lies and intimidation and propaganda and political rhetoric rule the day. There's no doubt. There's absolutely no doubt. And, of course, those are the things that are, you know, unfortunately and sadly ruling the day. And I love how your website, you know, starts right out by saying, turn your fear into confidence. And I know you briefly said that a little bit ago, but I think that that is so critically important and worth repeating again is, you know, because there is, you know, built into all of this, this sense of uncertainty for a young lady, you know, who now is pregnant. We are unfortunately in many instances, in most instances, we're not raising up young men the way that God intended young men to be raised up. That's correct.

You know, and so subsequently they send women off to eliminate a problem or dispose of a situation or however that verbiage is stated or they walk away because, well, you know, hey, I didn't sign up for that. Well, buddy, yeah, you did. You sure did. That's my message to the guy.

You did sign up for it, okay? She is not a life to be toyed with and that's what you did. And she's not a conquest or something to conquer. She is someone of tremendous value. And as a man, you have great responsibility. We're going to have to take a quick break. But I want to hone in on that in our last ten minutes because I think that that's really important to message regarding the issue of turning fear into confidence and, you know, thinking about, you know, the angel who shows up to Mary and says, hey, you're going to get this great responsibility and this incredible opportunity because we know we can trust you with a life. How cool is that?

I'm very, very pleased to have with me Daniel Tomlinson, VP of Advancement for Compass Care Pregnancy Services and we're talking about the issue of fear and having confidence as opposed to fear, faith as opposed to fear. Talk to me about how you help a young woman to make that transition. When she comes in, obviously she's, you know, she's pregnant. Maybe she thinks she's pregnant and she's kind of trying to figure out how am I going to do life now with the responsibility of another life and perhaps in a lot of these cases, and I'm talking to you boys that are running around pretending you're men and not being men and I'm telling you right now, knock it off. Knock it off. If you are going to crawl into bed with a girl, you better have a ring on your finger and you better be prepared for what that actually means and it's not self-gratification. It means the production potentially of a life and you are responsible.

How do you help this young lady transition? Yeah, so it's such a good question. I can't do anything else. I've got to get an abortion because my boyfriend's going to break up with me or my parents are going to kill me or I can't afford another child or, you know, go on down the list. And she is saying, I'm stuck. I'm trapped. I've got no way out. I've got to get an abortion. It's not about choice for her. She might even be personally pro-life, or said that she's been pro-life in the past, but now that she's in this situation, she's saying, I can't do it.

There's no way I can do it. I can't face my family, whatever. And so the big thing that Compass Care does, the secret sauce, is the compassion and love of Christ. So she's at this crossroads of grace.

God has brought her to this crossroads of grace, where she can make potentially another wrong decision in the long line of this wrong decision, or she can make her first right decision and walk down this road of carrying the term in either parent or make an adoption plan. Right, right, right. That's right.

If you would allow me to just jump in for just a second. Yeah. You know, the church has a role in this. That's right. The family has a role in this. The pastor has a role in this, okay?

That's right. And I want to say right here, okay, look, this is the place where we show up with love and with compassion and with care, okay? And we walk alongside of this young lady in the admonition of Scripture, lest you also should stumble is what the word says.

Lest you also should stumble. I understand moral standards. I understand that we wish that she hadn't gotten into this situation to begin with.

All of those things, okay? But you can't put the milk back in the bottle when the bottle's broke. Yes. And you better stop treating her like the bottle's broke. You need to treat her like she still has God's value because that's how God sees her. That's right.

You need to treat her like she matters, like she is important, like it's two lives that matter here. Yeah. And love both lives. Yeah. Pastor, mom and dad, single mom, single dad, church, I'm telling you, we better stop eating our own and we better start loving them back to Christ and showing them how to walk this out.

Yep. Yeah, you're absolutely right. And this is the reason why CompassCare shares the gospel with every woman that walks through the door is because her main problem is not the son playing pregnancy. And that message becomes so critically important when it comes to the eternal destiny of both the mom and the baby as well. And we're going to be held responsible. Ezekiel 33, Ezekiel 3 tells us we're going to be responsible as well for how that ends up. I appreciate all that you do.

It's not going to be her voice, though. There's an old Chinese saying my ancestors learned before the Communist Party took over our country. The family is the essential unit of human society and that you must have honor and defend your family. But it's not always easy to do. When the regime gives the order, you have to kill.

You have to kill. My heart was pounding. I felt my body bouncing and twisting on the floor. They put numbers on our shoulders, then separated us into rows of even and odd numbers.
