Hour number two. So good to have all of you with me. And I'm very excited to welcome my next guest to the program.

He has become a regular now with us and I'm thrilled. And I call him my friend. He is my friend. My friend. He is my brother in this battle.

And I'm so grateful to be to be in fellowship with him. Dr. Ward Connerly. Can I use the word doctor or just Ward Connerly?

Well, I would prefer just Ward. I'm a doctor from Hillsdale College, but I dare not use that because it might spoil my mind and make me think I'm bigger than I am. And I don't want to do that. I appreciate that.

That true and pure humility, brother. Ward, I was telling you in the warm up, I've been seeing some different stuff and doing some, you know, investigating. And there's a lot of people that suggest that race is is the big issue of our day. And I was watching a professor who was coming and speaking, a white woman who was coming and speaking and saying, because I'm a white woman, I can talk about this. And I want to talk to you about your whiteness. And if you were raised to believe that you should not look at the color of someone's skin, then you are racist and you are part of the problem. Your thoughts?

Well, she is halfway right. We live in a very nuanced kind of world that people assume certain things to be the truth, capital T, when in fact they are not the truth. We are a nation that was conceived not because people were white, but it just so happened that those who were in control numerically were white. But through the goodness of God and white people, we had a system of belief which said that doesn't matter.

And in the 1960s, when we confronted the issue of race, those white people said, we're going to have a policy system in which we treat everybody equally, quote, without regard to, without regard to color or race or whatever we want to call it. And we shall overcome the issue of color. We shall overcome. That was a statement of optimism, a statement of belief in the goodness of America.

And Pastor Greg, that worked. We did overcome, thank God. Now, the critical race theorists come along and say, we are a white nation. That was wrong. That was white supremacy.

We have to deal with that now. And they have taken our success and flipped it into a negative and some sort of defeat. It's a complicated issue, but assume that someone did not like the fact that the basketball, National Basketball Association happened to be predominantly black, predominantly black. We're not saying it's wrong.

Black people made it a point to learn and to excel at basketball. Now, we don't, we don't, but we should be passing judgment on that, on the color of it, except as a fact, and move on. Critical race theory flips this nation upside down and turns our success into a defeat because they have nothing else to do. Those people are dating and we have to acknowledge that, prove them wrong, and move on. But for God's sake, don't allow them to turn our success into a defeat and to harm our kids' minds by saying that if you're white, you're racist. No, it's just a fact of life.

Whatever your color is, it's a fact of life. It's what our society does with that. And by goodness, we have done quite well with it. We have given everybody an equal chance to compete.

I think the evidence is clear that we've done that. All you have to do is cite the names Oprah Winfrey, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington. All of those examples of black success reveal how much opportunity we've given people and how our nation has allowed people of every color, every color to excel and to succeed. Well, you know, I mean, I look at, you know, you mentioned the sports example and I think, you know, somebody like Magic Johnson, right? You know, I mean, I remember, you know, cheering for Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, right?

You know, cheering for both of those guys and everything they could do with color of skin. You know, it had to do with, they were great ball players. You know, I mean, you know, I remember rooting for the UCLA. I was a California kid, so I was a big fan of UCLA basketball and John Wooden. And there were, you know, a number of players that were black and white that played for John Wooden back in the day. Good ball players that played. You rooted for and you appreciate it. I mean, I have been a huge fan of Michael Jordan for years and years and years because of his work ethic, because of the character of the man, you know, and what I've seen about that.

And I had an opportunity to meet his sister at the Dream Center in L.A. years ago and heard some additional things that were pretty cool about Michael. The bottom line is, is that the American way is and the Christian way is that we cheer for those who succeed, who use their gifts and talents to their very greatest ability. Unfortunately, the NBA and the NFL and players like LeBron James and Wade and different ones decided to use their platforms to try to push a racial division and an assault on our American values and American dreams and American visions, which essentially is kind of spitting in the face of the reason why they're sitting where they're sitting, that that's the thing that's frustrating.

Exactly. And what and the shame really is that white and I always stumble over that because I don't believe that this race touches the white power. And oh, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not a supremacist. Well, they're not, but they don't engage in the debate. They run and hide and they express defeat by the mere mention of color rather than say, yeah, you've raised a subject here that I don't like, but now that you've raised it, let me tell you what what's coming down and what I believe about that and it had been moving on. But white said my experience that whites are cowered into submission by the argument that you are part of the problem rather than say, no, we're not part of the problem.

You idiot. We're we've been the solution to the problem. Hear, hear, hear, hear. Well, and that's, you know, I had David Horowitz, who, by the way, said hello, had David Horowitz on the program yesterday. And, you know, he's written a book about, you know, this whole the BLM lie and how, you know, racism has become a means by which to divide and and and conquer.

And it's interesting. I was talking in our last segment about the moral issues and how communists and the forty five goals of the communists deal with that. But, you know, this is a Marxist plan, ladies and gentlemen. It's the communist plan to tear America apart by by destroying its history, by re visioning its history and calling America this horrible, evil, wicked, racist thing. And, you know, I David reminded us yesterday we elected a black president twice.

OK, twice. And you go to David Barton's Web site and look at his black history. And he outlines for you how there was black representation in the houses of legislature in on the northern East Coast, back into the early eighteen hundreds. He outlines how there were black patriots that fought in the Revolutionary War, that were Revolutionary War heroes that were clearly recognized, by the way, by those who fought alongside of them.

Our special guest is Ward Connerly and we're talking about this issue of race and I was sharing as we were closing out our last segment and just in union with you brother, that we as a country, our founders said we are attempting to form a more perfect union and they were doing away with the idea of a king and they were moving us back to the biblical concept of government that God had delivered to Moses even through Jethro, a three part balanced government, an executive branch, a legislative branch, a judicial branch and then freedom and liberty for all is what is a part of our declaration of independence. All men are created equal and they were very meticulous in choosing those words. All men are created equal and were there arguments amongst some of those, especially those that were living in the southern states that were a part of the slave trade? Yes, there were certainly arguments Ward, we know that, but something else that David Horowitz pointed out yesterday and I've looked up the statistic, America represented 4% of the slave trade and the majority of the slave trade was taking place as it is today in Africa and it was black on black slavery and that's exactly where slavery is today sadly, jihadis, black African jihadis and Middle Eastern Muslims are the kings of slave trade and the predominant victims are Africans. And nobody wants to talk about that Ward, nobody wants to talk about that, they want to talk about something that went on over 200 years ago and look at you and I and say those guys shouldn't be talking because that one guy, he's got hate in his heart and he's a racist and that other guy over there, he's a victim of that other guy that we just talked about. He's a scum-out.

There you go, there you go, there you go, oh man. And it's not a laughing matter, but in the face of the irony of it, I'm not exactly sure, I mean you just gotta keep trying to help people to understand, I mean Martin Luther King wanted it clearly understood. I'm dreaming of a day when the content of the character is of more significance than the color of the skin and my issue with these NFL activists, with the NBA activists, with the activists in general is the heroes of these things like the Michael Browns and the Freddie Grays and others well what's the content of their character? What about the guy that mowed down the parade, the people at the parade and killed all those people and suddenly that was, I mean that was literally just swept right out of media. If that had been a quote-unquote white supremacist and he'd run over a parade of black people, it would have been an atrocity and it would have, I mean we would still be talking about it Ward. I know, I know, you know I have played a rather significant role in the whole issue of affirmative action in our nation and we're now poised to end it formally once and for all and I am convening a group of black people, conservatives yes, but it's not close to anyone else but my point is to file a brief with the Supreme Court in which black people are essentially going to say in this brief, we're not asking for this, we're not asking you to continue affirmative action, in fact we're asking you members of the court to end it, end it because it is it is debilitating young black people into believing that the country is racist and that they cannot succeed when in fact the evidence to the contrary is overwhelming. Look on the internet at black success, there is a tendency of certain sites to frequently show you the hope of the rich and powerful and of those people showed that's the great about half of them are black, phenomenal wealth phenomenal success, why then are we going to wallow in defeat, why are we going to say you can't succeed in America when the evidence to the contrary is so overwhelming? get him on the program but I called him out because I was hearing from people talking about our energy situation and everybody saying we need to turn off the spigot and stop receiving oil and gas and and shut down Putin's money line money tree and we were at one point in a position to be able to do something about that because under President Trump we were energy independent and so I was wanting to know from an expert you know can that happen again can we get there again how difficult would it be and so I called my good friend Dr. Bonner Cohen and I want to welcome Dr. Bonner Cohen to the program Dr. Cohen welcome good to have you good to be here and congratulations for having Ward Connolly as a previous guest he's a fine man I've spoken with him a couple of times and he was way ahead of his time he is just he's an amazing guy I had had David Horowitz on who yeah he was on yesterday David and Ward actually worked on the prop 209 issue in California they worked together on that and so yeah that was cool I had David Wormser on yesterday who you might be familiar with and then I also had a pastor live from the Ukraine we actually spoke with Pastor Vitaly live from his church over there yesterday as well Dr. Bonner this issue that's happening with the Ukraine and with Russia there's a huge component of this that is driven by his ability to get energy money money for natural gas I mean they have huge reserves there's no question about that but their ability to export natural gas and oil products petroleum products around the world including to the United States I mean there's conversation that that's helped funding this war let me start with that question is in your opinion would you say that that is a reality or is there is there truth to that statement yes there is the Russian economy is disproportionately dependent on oil and natural gas the exports thereof help fund so many things that go on in Russia including the recent invasion of Ukraine it's in Putin's interest to keep the price of oil and natural gas on global markets as high as possible the higher the price for oil and gas the more money that Kremlin has to pour into whatever nefarious activities Putin chooses to undertake over the past year or more he has had a silent partner in this endeavor that silent partner is the Biden administration which has declared war on fossil fuel development in the United States with the result that prices for oil and natural gas in the US have gone up and that in turn of course is spilled over into global markets the Biden administration has remarkably managed to do has put an end to American energy independence which was finally achieved after many many decades under the Trump administration and now makes the US dependent more dependent on imported oil and by the way more dependent on China which is by the way a much bigger threat than Russia which is the source of the materials that go into wind turbines and solar panels this morning the White House announced that the US will not be importing any more oil natural gas and coal from Russia well first of all we don't import any natural gas or coal from Russia well that's meaningless and secondly the amount of oil that we import from Russia is as of December of last year around 5% that's not going to hurt Putin one bit he'll simply sell the oil to someone else the one thing that's Biden is of his total sales 670,000 barrels a day that we were taking in and he'll sell it to somebody else and he'll have willing buyers and who knows we may wind up actually buying the oil that Putin sells to someone else from that someone else you can't make this stuff up but that's how absurd things have become one step that Biden could take that would really hurt Putin and really undermine him financially is to step up the production of US oil and natural gas that in turn over time would drive prices down on global markets which they had in fact had been going on for a year until Biden gave in but he's not going to do that there isn't a chance he and the people around him more the latter than the former because I think they whisper the instruction into his ear are determined to move the United States through an energy transition whereupon we will transition from oil and natural gas in our energy sector which are abundant and affordable primarily to wind and solar which are intermittent and not affordable even with the substantial subsidies that American taxpayers are forced to cough up for them this is the biggest geopolitical mistake the United States has made in a long long time and it was done consciously by the Biden administration largely oblivious to the geopolitical consequences of this but what they wanted to do was drive up the price of energy fossil fuel fuel produced energy for American citizens I remember years ago having Curtis Ellis here on the program talking about the wind turbine issue and the tax credits and all the money that the government is basically paying and one of Curtis Ellis's quotes was that George Soros quote and this is almost nine years ago and Soros said the only reason that I'm in the wind turbine business is because the U.S. government pays me to be in the wind turbine business it's a losing proposition I wouldn't be doing this except they give me so much money to do it that it doesn't make sense for me to get out of it and that's a similar observation back after this now is a critical time to be vigilant in the defense of our freedom there's no better way to do so than by joining the we're talking about natural resources we're talking about energy policy we're talking about the production of oil and gas here in the United States to make us energy independent and Dr. Cohen you were talking about you know how you know what the impact will be of just simply cutting off purchases from Russia but that there's kind of likely to just be an end around and we'll end up buying those same resources just you know under a different label so to speak my second question to you and you can wrap up what you'd like to say about the first part but my second question to you is how quickly can we get back online I know that there's not a will you mentioned that you said that the Biden administration does not intend to make us energy independent but what can you know how long would it take if there was a will to do it and then folks I'm going to come to you with the phone number for the Capitol Hill switchboard and ask you to contact your representatives and your senators and demand American energy independence Bonner to you OK remember what the Biden administration is doing all in the name of saving us from manmade climate change which is a completely phony issue but what they're doing is they are suppressing energy production in the United States fossil fuel energy production in the United States and dismantling the infrastructure necessary to transmit that energy from where it's produced to where it's needed and pipelines are now targeted either never to be built at all or to be slow walk through the administration's process here and we can get to your question how long would it take to turn that around the answer is not very long at all on paper all you have to do is say henceforth we will return to a policy of putting America first in energy making the United States what it had become under Trump namely an energy superpower the number one oil and gas producer in the world open up fields that post on land as well as natural gas fields offshore and oil fields also open them back up and it wouldn't take long at all for the United States to recapture the position that we had until the current administration came in power the problem is this administration is not going to do that they don't care how much people have to pay extra to heat their homes and weather and fuel their cars they are aware that that's a political problem going into midterms but they're perfectly willing for other people to make sacrifices they themselves will make none but they're perfectly willing for other people to make sacrifices so that they can achieve their goal of transitioning us into a green utopia and that green utopia is not going to be a utopia at all it is going to be something very bad and you can already get a taste of that if you look at Europe and you see how Europeans who have followed the similar policies and now have themselves in a predicament where they're dependent on Russia for natural gas why because their wind turbines and their solar panels and they have lots of them and they subsidize them too but they don't cut the mustard they don't produce the amount of energy that Europe needs and they will not do so here in the United States either. So here's what we need you to do folks we need you to contact your House of Representatives your congressional member and your two senators every single person listening to me you have a representative and you have two senators in your state now you can contact the representatives by the way in the congressional districts around you as well or if you have someone that you know or you know that kind of thing then by all means call them as well but call your representatives call the Capitol switchboard 202-224-3121 202-224-3121 tell them where you live where you what state you're in what city you're in and say I want to speak to my Congress member they will they will be transferring you to that office and when you get to that office tell them that you want to speak to the legislative liaison with the representative or the chief of staff or someone in that type of position because you have an important message that you want to share and the message is this we want America to become energy independent and a major energy exporter again energy independent and a major energy exporter again and we will knock Russia off its pedestal and we will put ourselves back in a position of strength even when it comes to dealing with the CCP it's not going to take them out by any means but it's certainly going to assist us at the negotiating tables to be back in that position. Am I out of line in suggesting that?

Absolutely put as much pressure on those people as possible bring your outrage to their attention. At this point we have nothing to lose. Yep and let's see and ask to be the number one exporter of gas and oil. All right. So that's the deal.

We need energy independence and we need to be the number one exporter of gas and oil in the world and seriously I mean folks that's what needs to happen. Let me see. Okay so I'm over on my number of words. Let's do that and then let's do this.

How did you shine your light and be a beacon of truth in the darkness? Did you shrink back in fear when they demanded you change my message? Did you call evil good and good evil? Did you forsake my love for that of another lying with the adulterer and setting up a new idol in your life? Have you defiled yourself through compromise and tolerance of that which I call an abomination? Have you innocent blood on your hands for the children murdered on your watch and the young ones perverted in their way by evil men seeking their own comfort and reviling me?

No. At the end of the day I want him to simply say the evidence is in. Well done thou good and faithful servant. I love my God and I love his creation and I will go to my grave telling the world that evil is evil and only God is good and Jesus came to save the world.
