So glad you're here. Brian Kill Me Cho. What a week. What an impactful week. And just honored that more and more of you are listening to the show to get the perspective that we want to give.

And I'll tell you what to think. We just want to present with the newsmakers. I'll give you my opinion. I want to hear your opinion: 1-866-408-7669. Or you can write me at BrianKillme.com.

Just click on comments and I'll get to them. This hour going to be joined by Admiral James Stavrides. And we're also going to be updating you on what just came in, and that is the job numbers. Good news for the economy. We've added 254,000 jobs.

They thought they'd add 142,000 jobs.

So unemployment's at 4.1%. I'm sure the vice president's got to feel happy about that.

So let's get to the big three.

Now, with the stories you need to know, it's Brian's big three. Number three.

Well, that's outrageous that we talk in a public forum like that. He's trying to take nuclear attack sites off the table, which obviously gives the Iranians, you know. They can balance what they're going to defend based on that. That is General Jack Keene. When I asked him and played the sound bites of President Biden saying we're thinking about bombing oil fields, and I don't want him to bomb nuclear sites, he could not believe the President was actually weighing in on this.

Either can I. It's coming. There's going to be hell to pay for Iran's 180 missile plus attack on Israel, and it could come at any moment as Operation to Capitate Hezbollah and eliminate Hamas continues simultaneously, almost one year to the day of the October 7th attacks. Number two. It's going to be an amazing rally.

You know, Butler has become quite a famous place. It's like a monument now, but it'll be a really big event, and it's going to be something that will celebrate the life of Corey, I think. Yes, we're back to Butler. Trump heads back to the site of his first assassination attempt after spending Thursday trying to hammer down the blue wall. As an alarm, Barack Obama has announced he's coming to Kamala Harris's aid to try and save the Democratic ticket.

Number What is taking so long? They are a couple of hours away from Asheville where they don't have helicopters to get in. It seems a little strange that the 82nd Airborne can't deploy a little faster. I think they're certainly ready to go. They've been authorized, but it is ultimately the state's calling.

Right. Jennifer Griffin doesn't understand it in questions at the Pentagon, and either do I. In fact, we now know that Fort Bragg, Fort Liberty, is now mobilized with 1,000 troops ready to go and help out their brethren. Helene, the death toll climbs, help arriving slow and too late, while private efforts condemned by the administration are curtailed. This is affecting six states across the southeast.

Not even a compliant mass media can cover for this federal response, which falls far short. And in the case of North Carolina, a governor that was not preparing, especially as compared to South Carolina and Florida. Admiral James Stravitas. Admiral, great to see you. We know your book is coming out this week, The Restless Wave, a novel of the United States Navy.

Guys, download it now. One's better than the next. They're all great. Admiral, first off, I was able to text with some people I had a chance to meet that are probably on your speed dial and Fort Bragg, Fort Liberty. And I asked, why are you guys not helping out?

Is there something I'm missing? And he says, we have not gotten the call. Yesterday afternoon, I got some texts back. We just got the call. We just don't know what we're doing.

We're just ready to go. Why is it so late? Can you tell me? There's no good answer to that question. I always feel it's probably a combination of Confusion on the ground, if you will, the fog of crisis, the fog of war.

It's a combination of it always takes a certain amount of time to get these deployment orders through the system. But none of that is a good excuse for why there aren't military helicopters rotoring overhead hours after something like this has happened.

So I'm as perplexed as anyone, and I think it does ultimately going to require an investigation to understand what's happened here. I want to close with this on that subject, Brian. I know, and you know, how the U.S. military feels. The actual soldiers, sailors, and airmen, and Marine Corps, they want to get in there.

They can't wait. These are the most rewarding missions they do. And this hurricane, Helene, is the worst. Going back to Katrina, our military want to. Be there.

What is stopping them? I don't know.

So, I want your take on this. Jennifer Griffin, as good a reporter as there is, covering the Pentagon for years, cut eight. What is taking so long? They are a couple of hours away from Asheville where they don't have helicopters to get in. It seems a little strange that the 82nd Airborne can't deploy a little faster.

I think they are they're they're they're certainly ready to go. They've been authorized. It's more a matter of making sure that the state and FEMA are ready to You know, knit them into the structure that's in place. The last thing you want to do is have a bunch of people show up and kind of, you know, exacerbate the system any ev even more. They're authorized, they're ready to go, but it is ultimately the state's call on when and how they are moved into the state.

You know how government works. You were at the Pentagon. Is that an acceptable answer? No. And without question, there's going to be some apportionment of blame here that'll run through the statehouse.

actually in Kentucky, perhaps through the national level, FEMA. I kind of feel this is overall their responsibility. I do think and again, I don't want to sound defensive on behalf of the Department of Defense, but I can't overemphasize how forward leaning the soldiers, the sailors are ready to go. They want to be in those helicopters. They want to be forward.

I want to talk about some of the most intriguing times in Middle East history, in modern Middle East history. For the longest time, we just said, what can you do to stop the buildup of Hezbollah? We can't stop them. They're the gold standard of terror groups. And Hamas emerges.

Well, Israel's got to learn to live with it and control it. And maybe they'll come around and go into a two-state solution, which they've shown no interest in doing. October 7th, put the nail in the coffin. And then what are you going to do with Iran? They supply both of them, but they are the bullies of the Middle East.

They have everyone intimidated for the most part, and they're close to a nuclear program. It's intractable. And then off comes the last few months with Netanyahu. Whatever you think of him, he's basically decapitated that government. And it looks as though the heir apparent in Nasarella.

who is the menace to the Middle East and people thought was going to be the ultimately author of the demise of Israel, perhaps, the replacement, his brother in law or his son in law, just got might have gotten killed last night.

So they've taken out the top thirty henchmen. They've taken out thousands with these exploding pagers. And now they're moving in on the ground in Lebanon. At the same time, they've absorbed one hundred eighty rockets into Israel proper, and everybody's supporting a hit back. And Hamas, Sinwar, they just announced his right-hand man, he's dead.

We're not even sure Sinwar is alive. What should Israel do next? It's first a moment to simply Stand back and admire the military capacity and capability of Israel in awe. And by the way, here in the United States, we ought to take a quiet bit of pride in the work that we have done. As you know, for four years, I was in charge of U.S.-Israeli military-to-military cooperation.

So, none of this is a surprise to me because I've been so close to it. But for so many who really didn't understand the military qualities of the Israelis, you just laid it out perfectly. In terms of what comes next, quite clearly at the tactical level, next will be a significant strike against Iran directly. I think there's three options there: one are the nuclear facilities, another is the military-industrial complex, particularly the locations where ballistic missiles are produced, and the third obvious option would be the energy, go after their economy. I could make a case for any of those three.

If it were me advising. I would say to Prime Minister Netanyahu, look, the nuclear targets are really tough. They're deep. They're hardened. There's twenty five of them scattered around a country that's three times the size of Texas.

Let's go after what is immediately threatening us. That's the military industrial complex. I take out their ballistic missile capability. That's the real threat at this moment. On the nuclear, in the case of them coming back and eventually reconstituting that program, I think they'll find a willing partner in the United States when the time comes to do that.

So I think three options on the table. The one I would push is the military industrial complex. But if we've learned anything watching the Israelis over the last year, it's that it's going to be creative, it's going to be lethal, and it's going to be highly efficient. The nuclear program, which is everybody in the region is worried about, from Saudi Arabia to the Gulf states, obviously Israel. If we had a chance, if we had the bunker busters to get to them, I would hope we do it.

I'm going to quote Naftali Bennett yesterday. He said, we must act now. He was the former prime minister to destroy Iran's nuclear program in central energy and central energy facilities and to finally cripple the terroristic regime. The octopus's tentacles are temporarily paralyzed.

Now comes the head. And what he's saying is, Hezbollah has got their back. Hamas has got their back. They're down on their backs. This is the time, without missile defense that's going to be fortified by their new best friends, China and Russia.

This is the time to defang them. Do you think he makes a strong case? I do. And I think that you can make a strong case for any of the three different options I mentioned. And I also believe, to your point, because the air defenses are relatively weak right now, as you say, this is not First level air defense.

These are not the S-400s. This is next tier down S-300s, Russian supplied. They're good. They're not impenetrable at all. And the Iranian Air Force is pretty lame, frankly, in terms of air defense from a bunch of Cold War-era F-14s and MiG-29s.

So, yes, you can lay out that case. And it may be, Brian, a combination of all three of those things. Although we need to recognize Israel's capacity is high, but it's not unlimited. They're not the United States of America. They have an awful lot, but this kind of strike is going to take 100, 150 aircraft in the air.

It'll take effectively their entire air force to do it. General Keene just said to me, you know what they're trying to do? They're trying to win. And Admiral, Admiral Steve, that might seem new to people listening or to the Biden administration, he indicated, but he, like you, likes to stay out of politics, and I totally respect that. But they are our enemy since 1979.

They are forming the Houthi rebels who are targeting our ships.

So this is our fight. They are rocketing their militias, they are rocketing our troops in Iraq and Syria. They did kill three of our guys. Why don't we take this opportunity to decapitate them like the Israelis have decapitated Hezbollah? Yes, I think you're on the right course here.

And in particular, let's not lose sight of what's happening to Hezbollah. What the Israelis really need to put the foot on the gas to is Hezbollah and Lebanon, because there are still one hundred thousand surface to surface missiles up there. I think job one is to Do the same thing to Hezbollah that has been done to Hamas effectively to end them as an operational organization. I'd say Israel is about halfway to doing that. That's job one, frankly.

And then over on the Iranian side, then you go for the head of the octopus.

So I'm in agreement with you that ultimately the odds are that the United States is going to become more directly involved. At the moment, we're doing a lot in terms of providing ordnance, intelligence, cyber, maybe some refueling capability. But are we going to have our jets strike target? Not quite yet. Hold that thought.

I want you to hear Hung Kao, a respected military veteran who wants to be the next senator from Virginia, cut 37. When you are using a drag queen to recruit for the Navy, that's not the people we want. What we need is alpha males and alpha females who are going to rip out their own guts, eat them, and ask for seconds. Those are young men and women that are going to win wars. Uh please Please, audience, please.

Why please audio? Senator Tim Kaine is the sitting senator. Your reaction to his worry about the recruitment process right now? Uh I have not been following the specifics of Navy recruiting, although I know last year we had a big shortfall. I know this year we just announced we the Navy just announced that we met our recruiting goals.

I think you do need high energy, very motivated, strong, mental, resilient men and women to come into the Navy. And I think that the way to do that is by putting our very best sailors, including our very best Leaders, both at the one-star level running that organization and across the board, to into the field to recruit those people, show the youth of America what it's like to be on active duty in the U.S. Navy. That's who you want as recruiters, active duty military, who are the superstars. All right.

So tell me about your book.

Well, you and I are going to have, I think, a pretty good talk about it next week. But as a teaser, I'll say it's called The Restless Wave. It's set in the early days of World War II. It's historical fiction, but it's all fully based on history, on interviews with World War II veterans. It's a love triangle set against the start of the war.

And here's the punchline for the foreign policy junkies, Brian. It is based on great power war in the Pacific. In other words, you and I talk a lot about what would happen if we end up in a war with China. This book looks at the war we did fight in the Pacific, Great Power War. And finally, it's a book about new technologies arriving in war, much like they are in Ukraine.

So, like Churchill said, to look to the future, you got to look to the past to understand it. That's what the book's about. We'll talk about it some more. Hope next week in studio.

Sounds great. Admiral James Tavrida is the 16th Supreme Allying Commander at NATO. The name of the book is The Restless Wave. Go download it, pre-order it now. Admiral, thanks.

Great. Appreciate your insight at this very consequential time. Back in a moment. Diving deep into today's top stories, it's Brian Kilmead from the Fox News Podcasts Network. Subscribe and listen to the Trey Gowdy Podcast, former federal prosecutor and four-term U.S.

Congressman from South Carolina, brings you a one-of-a-kind podcast. Subscribe and listen now by going to FoxnewsPodcasts.com. A talk show that's real. This is the Brian Kill Me Show. You know, unfortunately, it's not named Ukraine, North Carolina, or they would have already had enough money.

And then you think about Majorkas, who said they're at the end of their funding, but he doesn't want to tell the American people that money that was supposed to go to disaster relief was actually utilized and repurposed for immigration resettlement. That is 100% correct. It's not hyperbole. $660 million, maybe more, towards resettling. Make sure we write those checks for the state of hotels to go to the NGOs like Catholic charities to make sure the illegals have a place to stay and then they get transported to different places around the country and then placed into your schools.

Someone's got to pay for that. And to sit there as Homeland Security Secretary, May Orkus, they go, yeah, we're out of money. You know, that's what, excuse me, out of money, blaming global warming. What are you talking about? Hurricane season is named hurricane season for a reason.

If you are low, how dare you in the middle of a hurricane recovery, which you relate to, say, yeah, we're out of money for this? Terrible management. The worst secretary, the whole country should impeach him, not just the Republicans. And Corey Mills, again, pulling money out of his pocket to get his organization, not to save people in Haiti or Afghanistan. He has to do it in North Carolina.

And the military was just mobilized yesterday afternoon. They still don't have their orders yet. Brian Kilmicho. When we come back, maybe we're going out to that site. We'll have a special guest.

We'll talk about that, Brian Kilmicho. A radio show like no other. It's Brian Killmead. What's different this year is that Hardworking men like myself, you know. There's a lot of us.

There's a lot of men that are just, we're wired for that. We're going to wake up early and we're going to get to work. We're going to find a job. We're going to provide for our families, for our families back home, whatever it is the case. We're going to provide for them.

And now we have this, you know, we're going to work. 12-hour, 14-hour shifts every day, you know, and then at the end of the week, I'm going to count up and see how much money I got. Don't take a rocket scientist. These same hard-working dogs are going to be like, no matter how many hours I put in now, I'm still coming up considerably short. Things are considerably more expensive.

I cannot even afford a one-bedroom for me. My wife, my kid, and my mother, I don't understand what am I doing wrong? I'm working more hours than I was five years ago, like a crazy amount more. I have more side businesses, I'm doing more things on the side, and I still can't make ends meet, I still can't get a loan at a decent rate, I still can't. Finance a car.

Jorge Masfidel has got a book out, and we hope to get him next week on CNN giving an answer they didn't really want to hear. And that, in my view, they didn't say that, but why more young men are turning out for Trump. The host really didn't want, didn't have an explanation. She really was mystified by it. And he just broke it down.

Plus, he knows that even though he's a billionaire, Blue collar people flock to him. I wish people would stop questioning it and take note of it because he has an overwhelming base of mostly high school educated. high school educated, mostly males, but most those without a college education because he appreciate the working people appreciate him. They look at him as a hardworking guy who talks like them. That just is the case.

So if you think about what happened yesterday, the Firefighters Union, the latest union, normally in the Democratic camp of three hundred thousand plus, said they will not endorse anyone. The Teamsters two weeks ago said we will not endorse anyone, which is like an endorsement to Trump, who was the last survey showed that he has just trailing Kama Harris by nine points on Union. Workers, union workers. Put it this way, Mitt Romney lost that vote to Obama by thirty. That's how things have changed.

Another surprise on NSM on MSNBC. One of the people who was an ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sundland, who we've had on before, I find really interesting. I read his book. I kind of knew. I'm reading his book, and I know he testified against President Trump when they were doing the investigation in Ukraine.

They thought that was an opportunity for the speaker, Pelosi, at the time, to go impeach the president. They said, well, you know, what did the president know? What did he call about Ukraine? You have an expertise there. What did you think?

The president wanted to know about what they were doing, what Hunter was up to, whatever he said, he said.

So this is what Gordon Sunland said. Back in October of 2022. Cut 22. January 6th was the red line. He could have prevented it.

He didn't do it. And for that reason, and for that reason alone, I cannot support him for re-election. Because he liked a lot of what he did. One thing he described to us here on the Brian Kill Meet Joe: he said: because Trump would take my call, and because he would call me, the European Union thought I had power, and I did. President Trump would go with my recommendations.

I was a donor to his in 2020 and 2016. And when I got this position, I wanted to be impactful. I wanted to affect policy. And he backed me up.

So Gordon Summerlin said after January 6th I'm out.

Well, this is what he said yesterday. Cut 21. Why was it important for you to say no more Trump because of his January 6th conduct, and do you stand by that? No, I don't stand by it, and I'll tell you why. I've now lived four years under the Biden-Harris policies, and I have to say that those policies are not only becoming an existential threat to our country's way of life.

But to our allies as well.

So when you're in the middle of the day, this is so striking. You said it was a no for me after that January 6th, and here we are right now. I did. And you're saying it's a yes for you. It is a yes for me.

It is an absolute yes for me. That is how badly the Biden-Harris team have prosecuted their job. How angry is Ari Melber that he said that? I'm going to let you finish, but I just want to outline what's happening. My show is going to never be the same because somebody that on January 6th was so disappointed in the president, he was out.

who testified against him just accurately, wasn't really against him. Trump, I thought, should never have been impeached, but I have no way should he have let Rudy Giuliani go traipsing through the Ukraine trying to find out what what Joe Biden was up to, because it's a political opponent. It's not that you were that interested. It was a political opponent, even if you thought that there was corruption going on there. Make it a transparent investigation that the Justice Department runs or that Jim Jordan would marshal.

I don't want to go over the impeachment again. But Gordon Sundland said, Yeah, I testified, yeah, he called me up, wanted to know what Biden was up to.

Now we know there was a lot of crap that Hunter Biden was up to that he shouldn't have been, that Joe Biden denied any role in it, and he had a role in it. And then Romania, China, and all these things. There was a lot there, but the way Trump approached it was wrong. But he should never have been impeached by it.

So when Gordon Sundland was just honest, I did get a call about that. They thought he was off the Trump train. But he never really was. If you listen to him on our show, I used him as an expert all the time to talk about the different ways in which the president pressured NATO.

Some come in there and they say NATO's got to pay their fair share. And Trump comes out and said, I'm leaving unless they start doing it. That got their attention. And Gordon Sundland didn't mind it. And remember, the example people always give, and I'll give it again.

Henry Kissinger, one of the smartest men to ever walk the planet. Used to toe Nixon would tell him When you talk to these countries, whether it's something in the Cold War, with Russia, Soviet Union. Let him know that you think I'm a little unhinged. Let him know that you think I'm a little crazy. Let him know that I'm like a caged lion, that the president's not going to like that and I can't control what he's going to do.

You got to work with me here because I got to come back and talk to a president that's really belligerent and aggressive. And he used it to his advantage.

Now, Trump, that's where he lives his life. You want to buy a building? You want to buy a car? He's going to go down. I'm never going to buy that car.

Unless it comes down, I need a third of the money. That's what I'm going to do. It's impossible. I can't. I'll lose money on it.

Well, that's you don't want the car. And that's the way he negotiates. He does it with everything. I would think some of the media would pick up on it, but they're not. And Trump yesterday had an interview with Bill Melusian.

Now, every time you ask him about Ukraine or Israel, he says the same thing. Never would have happened if I was there. All right.

I know he wants to get it through everyone's head, but we all know that. But I want to get to the next question. And with Bill Melusioned he got to the next question. And I thought it was, what would you do about Israel? And what would you do when you heard that Joe Biden took that off the table?

Uh any type of Nuclear attack. What would you have done? And Here's uh here's what he would say. If uh if he was President of the United States. Oh, when it came to that.

We're not really sure where it is. Um I guess we don't have it. I thought we had it here. My bad. I thought we had it.

Here's what he said, by taking it off the table. He said, I never would have taken it off the table. Nuclear has been the problem. That's the biggest danger, and that's the one thing in the region they don't want any part of. That's what got their attention.

So Here is what you're looking at now with what's happening in Israel is very simple. Even for maximum leverage, you lay low, you say everything's on the table. Whatever you think is going to happen, you don't say it. But you know what he comes out and says? Joe Biden, I don't want to bomb nuclears.

I mean, nothing's going to yesterday he said nothing's going to happen today. We're thinking about allowing him to or advising him to bomb the oilfields, but I don't think so. It's crazy. Here is Leon Panetta, of all people, the former Defense Secretary for Barack Obama, Cut29. If intelligence is telling us that Iran is proceeding to develop a nuclear weapon, Then that, frankly, concerns not just Israel, but the United States as well, because both of them made very clear that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon.

So number one, what is the intelligence telling us? If Iran, in fact, is not moving towards developing a nuclear weapon, then the question becomes what kind of targets should Israel strike at in Iran? I believe they ought to look seriously at military targets. I think they ought to look at, frankly, some of the energy areas as well as targets. What they have to do in the end is make very clear that Iran is going to be weakened as a result of whatever strike Israel conducts.

And just back what I was telling with the Admiral before, people like Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who's been critical of the current Prime Minister Netanyahu, who wants that job eventually, I imagine, back. He used to be Prime Minister. He says now's the time to act. He said that they have never been more vulnerable. The central energy facilities should cripple them right now.

And the octopus's tentacles are temporarily paralyzed, meaning has blood amos. They'll rebuild. That's the worry. Maybe they'll rebuild. We will see.

It'll be harder, but it's going to be hard to stop their borders when you got a hard enough time. Look at October 7th, controlling your own. But this is an opportunity to do that. To talk about not doing that is, to me, nuts. That's my view.

When we come back, we'll talk more about this. I also want to talk about the lack of coverage when it comes to Halleen. Almost all this coverage just talks about getting the people out, and that's fine. But why are those people there for Over a week. Why do they feel abandoned?

Why are they stopping civilian aircraft? Why did they not call Fort Liberty, Fort Bragg, that is just miles away from the most impacted zone? These are the questions that should be asked, but it seems like we're the only ones asking them. Brian Kilmicho. Politics, current events, and news that affects you.

Brian's got a lot more to say. Stay with Brian Kilmead. The more you listen, the more you'll know. It's Brian Kilmead. Biden says that Israel should not target Iranian nuke facilities.

What are your thoughts on that? What should Israel respond? I mean, that's the craziest thing I've ever heard. It's the biggest risk we have. The biggest risk we have is nuclear.

I mean, to make the statement, please leave that nuclear alone. I would tell you that that's not the right answer because you know what?

Soon they're going to have nuclear weapons and then you're going to have problems. I mean, that's just an honest answer to Bill Melusian yesterday, who moved through a cycle of questions and hot topics with the former President, who's willing to talk to anybody at any time. He also sat down with Dave Ramsey, a fantastic financial radio host with his own network And he sat down there and says, just basically tell me the nuts and bolts of your economic plan. And he did in detail. Because, and this is what Scott Bessett has been, who's a great guest of ours, who might be the next Treasury Secretary.

Ironically, he left him, but used to work with George Soros. He said, when you sit down and talk to Trump, he goes into detail, deep layers and layers and layers on the economy and his theories. And he won me over to a lot of it because on the, you know, on the. 30,000 foot level. I used to say, you know, I don't think his policies will work.

I think he's just trying to get elected. And then when he told me his reasoning behind it, I'm wide open to it. And I think Larry Kudlow is very similar. Same thing he just said, what are you kidding? Number one, if you did want to not want to hit the nuclear sites, If you really felt like I don't want you to do that, why in a million years would you ever tell a row of press?

In a random question, set policy almost like Anthony Fauci did with the pandemic. By the question, you said policy. I don't want him hitting nuclear sites. You don't want him hitting nuclear sites. Yeah, I don't want to do that.

The next egg. What is your advice to Israel when it comes to retribution for their attack? We're all in support of it. But what is your advice? I wouldn't really hit the oil fields.

I don't know if I recommend that, but nothing's going to happen today. Can't be stupider. You can't be stupider than that. It is impossible. To be dumber and less coy.

Here's Tom Cotton, Colonel. Yeah, yeah, yeah. From the very beginning of Israel's fight against bloodthirsty Iranian-backed terrorists a year ago, President Biden and Vice President Harris have put more pressure on Israel than they put on Hamas or Hezbollah or Iran. You know, Senator Kuhn said that they or they celebrated the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's terrorist mastermind. That was the very same day they both called for a ceasefire against Hezbollah.

Once again, they're putting pressure on Israel not to mount a vigorous retaliatory strike against Iran after Iran has launched almost 200 ballistic missiles at innocent civilian populations in Israel. He's 100% right, and that might be the next Defense Secretary if Trump is able to continue to surge and win.

So, the perception on the other side is he's not doing that, but we know the difference. See, one thing that was happening, these campus riots, they knew they were hurting Democrats, so they stopped, which makes me think they're behind it. Why is the squad not protesting? We found out a couple of days ago, Elon Omar in a meeting was saying that once she wins the presidency, she's convinced Kamala Harris will win. We will start pressuring her from the left side to do what we want to do because we are progressives.

Why is it that these riots on these college campuses have been suppressed? Why? Because it's embarrassing many people, including the Jewish community, who give a lot of money to these institutions, but it's embarrassing the Democratic Party because those are not Republicans standing up and assuming that Israel is killing civilians.

So now, to be anti-Israel when it goes after Hezbollah and Iran, not as in vogue as going after Hamas, which is crazy because they're the ones who perpetrated the most horrific attacks since the Holocaust on the Israelis.

So here's Chris Coons. The apology, he's the man who always runs cover for Joe Biden, who told us Joe Biden was great.

Now he tells us. His policies are perfect. Cut twenty five. They are not restraining Israel. They're not preventing Israel from its actions against Hezbollah and against Hamas, but they are urging caution about the possibility of a regional war should there be an all-out exchange between Iran and Israel.

As you know, just this past weekend, one hundred and eighty missiles were launched by Iran at Israel. All of them were intercepted, in no small part because of our ongoing close defense and security cooperation. A couple of things. You are restraining them. We know you did.

But what's happening now is the Prime Minister is not listening. That's the deal. And that's why they don't even talk anymore. But as General Keene told me offline today, and that doesn't mean it's off the record, you got to watch it if you're Israel. We are supplying almost all their armaments and material.

So, if you're too cavalier, it'll force the president's hand, who probably wants to do it anyway, just probably doesn't feel it's the right thing to do. Is start cutting them off or slow-walking a lot of these weapons. You don't want to do that. But too much is at stake. What they've already done is historic.

I mean, yesterday, they blew up the heir apparent to Nasarella, his son-in-law, who married his daughter, was thought to take over. I'm thinking to myself, I got to learn to pronounce this name.

Now I don't. It looks like they found out exactly where it was and blew up him, maybe his family, and possibly other higher-ups who was left of Hezbollah. That's exactly what's got to happen. When you take down Hezbollah, you are helping us. I believe there are operatives here.

I believe they're everywhere. I believe that they're all over Syria, all over the Middle East. And if Iran is involved in Venezuela, just goes to tell you, you just link it all together. I'm sure they're in Venezuela. Cut off their head.

It's been an amazing operation, one that even has General Jaquin in awe. Cut 31. What's going on in Lebanon with Hezbollah they're dismantling systematically their leadership. They've taken out their senior leaders, they've taken down operational leaders like the rocket and missile commander, and they've killed a number of their tactical leaders because the second mission they're going after in Lebanon is the rocket and missile force. We can only speculate, but about a week and a half ago I was told by Israelis they had taken down about 30% of the rocket and missile force.

I suspect they're probably close to 50% by now. And clearly, that is really what what they're after because that's the weapon that can hurt them inside Israel. Yeah, the thing that would change the balance Is if they signed a mutual defense pact with Russia and China, what do we do about that? What if Russia puts in their best top-end missile defense in exchange for all the drones they're giving them and all the armaments they're sending them to help them in the war in Ukraine? If they have a mutual defense pact with Russia or China, do we hit back?

Does Israel hit back? Does that change everything? Absolutely. Missile defense makes it harder for the IDF Air Force to get in there? Absolutely.

So this is the moment. This is the moment. And when you talk about a wider regional wall, uh war with who? I mean, who? Jordan's not going to turn against him.

Saudi Arabia's not going to go with him. Qatar doesn't have an army. They're not going to side with Iran. Who's going to side with Iran? Nobody's going to side with Iran except for the proxies that they finance, two of which have been totally destroyed almost to their death.

And the Houthis are next. And we should be doing the Houthis.

So don't worry about the wider regional war. It's been simmering for a while. This might be the chance to prevent it by escalating first. From high atop Fox News headquarters in New York City, always seeking solutions, never sowing division. It's Brian Kilmey.

Thanks so much for listening, everybody. It's the Brian Killmee Chow, coming to you from 48th and 6th in Midtown Manhattan. Heard around the country, around the world. Of course, last week was all about the General Assembly week and the who's who of the world powers. We're here.

Secret Service stretched out.

Now they're going to be challenged, challenged, because the president is going back to the site of his first assassination attempt. And sadly, there were others, and there may be some in the future. If you talk to the president, he'll tell you that's a real worry of his that he has right now, but it is not stopping him from after he got shot, putting his fist in the air and standing up, and it's not stopping him from going back. John Levine's going to be joining us shortly, bringing us up to date on what's happening here in New York with this crazy mayor situation and what it means for the rest of the country, as well as. As well as what's going on in New York State.

Because we just had a Chinese spy here, number one. And number two is This whole city A lot of people believe this state is up for grabs, that Trump really has a shot here, although there's some hard congressional fights still going on here. Let's get to the big three.

Now, with the stories you need to know, it's Brian's big three. Number three.

Well, that's outrageous that we talk in a public forum like that. He's trying to take nuclear attack sites off the table, which obviously gives the Iranians, you know, they can balance, you know, what they're going to defend based on that. Yes, why would you tell them it's coming? There's going to be hell to pay for Iran's 180 missile plus attack on Israel, and it could begin at any moment as operation decapitate Hezbollah and eliminate Hamas continue simultaneously almost one year to the day of the October 7th attacks. Number two, it's going to be an amazing rally.

You know, Butler has become quite a famous place. It's like a monument now to be a really big event, and it's going to be something. We'll celebrate the life of Corey, I think. Back to Butler. Trump heads back to the site of the first attempt at his life after spending Thursday trying to hammer down the blue wall.

As an alarm, Barack Obama has sprung into action to decide to save the vice president and put some pep in the Democrats' step. Number one. What is taking so long? They are a couple of hours away from Asheville where they don't have helicopters to get in. It seems a little strange that the 82nd Airborne can't deploy a little faster.

I think they're certainly ready to go. They've been authorized, but it is ultimately the state's calling. That is true, and that is the the great Jennifer Griffin, Helen, the death toll climbs, help arriving slowly and too late, while private efforts are condemned by the Administration or curtailed. This is affecting six states across the Southeast. Not even a compliant mass media can cover this pathetic Federal response, including not asking The military to get involved just miles from where the most damage is done in the western part of.

North Carolina The location of Fort Liberty, formerly known as Fort Bragg. We'll follow all that. Joining us now from the New York Post is John Levine. John, welcome back. Thank you for having me, Brian.

Hey, John, good. The chaos is left. The UN is gone. But what's left is a mayor in a lot of trouble.

Now we find out that. His education secretary is leaving right away, not in a few days. We see that he was back in court today and they say they might expand the charges. How can he function in a city like this under indictment? You know, well, you know, we've seen a lot of politicians function quite well under indictment.

Like in his first indictment, which he beat, Bob Menendez just sat in the Senate for the entire time. And obviously, you know, we have a former President of the United States running and he's already been convicted of several felonies.

So it's not necessarily it doesn't necessarily follow that just because you're indicted, you need to resign. We do have the presumption of innocence in this country, and Eric Adams does say he is completely innocent, but you do hear rumblings that there will be additional charges brought forth on the ones that are already out there. I saw a poll, the Post published maybe yesterday or today, that sixty nine percent of New Yorkers want him to resign. The longer this goes on, And especially if there are more charges, the harder it is going to be for him to continue to function as mayor, particularly if. Uh all his staff is all departing.

He's just going to be a majority of one.

So he's bound not to resign, but I don't see how he can really stay in office in the long run.

So here he is yesterday, cut 38. We are not surprised. We Expected this. This is not surprising to us at all. The actions that have unfolded over the last 10 months, the leaks, the commentary, the demonizing, this did not surprise us that we reached this day.

And I asked New Yorkers to wait to hear our defense before making any judgments. From here, my attorneys will take care of the case so I can take care of the city. My day-to-day will not change. I will continue to do the job for 8.3 million New Yorkers that I was elected to do.

Well, I mean, that was wrong. That was from last week. But that's basically nothing's changed except for they brought him back to court to maybe expand the charges. He's trying to get some tossed out.

So we'll see how this goes. But, you know, he firmly believes this is all about, or at least he said, this is all about him pushing back on the federal government's dumping of illegal immigrants in New York City and the refusal to provide security at the border. That's a pretty strong case. In fact, Al Sharpton came out and said, I want to put together a summit this week where we find out if politics is behind this. What do you think, John?

Hey. I mean, it's very rare that I. agree with Al Sara. I'm a big believer in transparency, and sunlight is the best disinfectant. If if I would love to know how these charges originated.

It is it's very weird that all of a sudden the mayor's just doing his job, humming along, and then he opens his mouth about migrants and all of a sudden up pops a federal probe. The timing is very suspicious. And then, when you look at the charges and you actually read the indictment that we currently have, it's very, very thin stuff. Turks. are allegedly bribing him for ten years with gifts and everything and free upgrades, and all they seem to have gotten in return was he opened up a building two weeks early ahead of a fire inspection one time.

That's a pretty bad return on an investment if you're bribing someone for a decade. And you know, as for the straw donations, It seemed most of the malfeasance happened at the staff level. If you read the indictment, it's always a staffer texted the Turkish businessman saying, This is the crime we're going to do. It's never Adams directly. It's very, very.

I don't. It was very thin to me, and even the Wall Street Journal said that these charges were bunk and they should probably be thrown out. Yeah, so I I I did find it uh relatively uh odd that he was first a a Biden's disciple. He was going to help him with his reelection. And then he speaks up and he's not even invited to the White House.

In fact, when President Biden comes to New York City, the last two years, he hasn't even asked to see the mayor. And the mayor's been unable to get an appointment with him.

So you have to wonder if that has anything to do with it or if he's just a corrupt guy that's been exposed. I will say this: I mean, it's. There's also a story out today that we're paying $600 an hour for lawyers for two of his junior staffers because they're under indictment now.

So is that true? Taxpayer dollars are going to the mayor's defense and his underlings' defense? Look, if it's true. The people you should be angry I mean, it depends where you place the blame. If you believe the mayor is being railroaded.

The people you should be angry at is the Department of Justice and the weaponized justice system, because they're the ones who are bringing these indictments. No, a lot of taxpayer money is going to to to to this sort of debacle. And There's no good answer. And if you lose Mayor Adams, you end up with our public advocate, Jumani Williams, who would be an interim mayor. for uh I think ninety days, and then he would call a special election.

And I don't think we're ready. I don't think most people listening now are ready for the chaos of what a New York City special mayor's election would be because we're going to it would just be a big mess of everyone running. You'd have Cuomo in it probably, and it would have ranked choice voting. which, you know, pe pe a lot of people don't even know how that works. Right.

But you have Republicans who own a jungle primary almost, right? Yeah, jungle primary, that's right.

So, yeah, we'll see how that goes. But you also have a situation where the governor could step in and just say, you're out. And what the governor says he's going to do is wait to see if he can function. If he can't function, I'll step in. But don't you think part of the reason the AOC is stepping up is because Jamani Williams would take over the public advocate who is still forward to funding the police.

He's to the left of the leftists. I don't see Governor Hochul shoving him out of office. I don't see her going against someone like Al Sharpton. Um, she doesn't I just I just don't see the the upside for her to do that. And yeah, I mean the progressives have always been the loudest voice Calling on Mayor Adams to step down because they know Jumani Williams is a fellow traveler and it's a defund the police.

He hates Israel. It's the full progressive slate. And many of the other candidates who would run in the special election are dyed in the wool progressives. And I think people like AOC know that. That if they can get rid of Adams, they're very, very likely.

Not a guarantee, but they're likely to have one of their own replace him.

So there's two people: Curtis Sliwa, who will poll high, especially in a primary where you go sprint to the finish within 90 days. You got to get in there, you got to campaign, you got to get done. The other one would be Governor Cuomo. I mean, are people looking to look past his past? I mean, would he resonate in New York City?

Well, that's like a million dollar question, isn't it? I don't and I'm like, yes, the the true answer is we just don't know. you can do all the internal polling you want, it's only until he throws his hat in the ring and actually starts campaigning Will we see? Are we willing to move past the dozen women who've accused him of misconduct? Are we willing to move past the COVID nursing home scandal?

that we all saw. And all of the we weren't allowed to go see our relatives in nursing homes or go to weddings or church. And meanwhile, the New York City COVID czar, who implemented all of these draconian policies, was running around at sex clubs doing MDMA. Which you may remember when that happened.

So there's a lot of COVID hypocrisy that someone like Cuomo is going to have to ask voters to swallow. And I don't I don't know if they will. I don't. John Levine, thanks so much. Things are really crazy in this country's number one city.

Most populous city, most impactful city, the financial capital of the country, in some cases, the world. And we have a mayor that can barely function. John, thank you. Thank you. A justice system that just targeting you.

political enemies. I mean, to do what they did to Trump? It hurt New York. And you heard Kevin O'Leary talk about that. More successful business people have decided not even to get involved because if they might end up voting for Trump, that gets out, and suddenly they're not getting deals.

Look what they're trying to do to Elon Musk. They're trying to take contracts away from him. They never give him credit for setting up an infrastructure for his Tesla cars on private dollars for the most part. Uh but because he's voting for Trump, he is persona non grata. Back in a moment with your calls, 1-866-408-7669.

Diving deep into today's top stories. It's Brian Gilmead. If you're interested in it, Brian's talking about it. You're with Brian Kilmead. It's too late.

I mean. They took you on. They are They had f it took them five days to get here and I mean, it took five days for Biden to come here and he didn't think we were worth Coming down to see you. him us himself he had to fly over on his way to Raleigh Um It's disgraceful. I mean they keep saying we the people.

No, there is no we the people, it's them versus us, they're not for us. It's all about them. They tell us what we need instead of just instead of listening to us.

So that was Jordan Lanning. He was on last night on Fox News channel, and he was talking about his house being wiped out, everything done, and not one official has been in his line of sight since the attack, excuse me, since the hurricane hit last week. And he's beyond frustrated, cut nine. I went to bed the night before the storm. I went around when it was starting, and nothing was flooding.

Went to bed, thinking everything was fine. Woke up the next day, and there were over 20 trees down around my complex. And. Flooding was disastrous. We weren't allowed to.

I couldn't get out of the house for about two days, and it just got worse and worse as you further you went out.

So he has the account of so many other people and their victims from this hurricane. And they didn't have anything in place before. I think the governor's primarily responsible for that, Democratic governor. And also, you have a situation where he could get everything he needs because they know that North Carolina could make or break this election cycle. I think Trump by two, but if the western part of the state can't vote, that could change everything, number one.

But who's talking about their welfare, not using the soldiers from Fort Bragg? As you guys may know, two months ago, I was at Fort Bragg, now known as Fort Liberty, spent this in a day doing exercise, watching them do exercises, finding out what makes them tick. And then I texted some of the guys that I met there, and I said, Listen, why are you guys not helping out with the storm? And they said, We need to be asked. We're not asked, but we are ready to go.

Three hours later, he texts me and he goes, We just got asked. I have a thousand people ready to go. I said, Are you in yet? He said, We're waiting for orders. My goodness, pathetic.

William listening on WTRC in South Bend. Hey, William. Hey, good morning, Brian. Love the show. Love watching you on Fox every morning.

I turn on Fox about 4:45 in the morning, and then see you guys when you come on. I know you wish you were probably down in Florida with Steve right now, but anyhow. Or maybe not because you see enough of them. My my concern right now is what's happening. Number one, they interviewed Biden and he said, yeah, he talked to everybody and everybody's getting what they want, which is we all know is BS.

Um but more importantly, Maorcus says that they don't have any FEMA money left.

So you know they've done all this to pay for all the illegal immigrants. I don't care what anybody says about how you how they're described, they're illegal. But anyhow. That they've used the FEMA money for that. What are they going to do next?

Are they going to go ahead because nobody's looking, they're going to go ahead and start jumping into or tapping into Social Security that people paid all their lives? Better not. No, they better not. Number one, you're not fully funded. If I'm Homeland Security Secretary, I don't wait in the middle of hurricane season for a hurricane to hit.

There's another one coming right up. And they put in $20 billion before they left.

Now he wants to call a special session to give them more. The guy is not engaged in anything. He's not stopping terrorists. He's not sealing the border, not fixing hurricanes. He just sucks.

He is the worst at his job. It's not just policies that he's got to front that's the issue. He is the issue. Other issues. For the most part, they don't have flood insurance up in the mountains.

0.8%. 700,000 households in North Carolina counties heavily flooded by storm. 0.8% have flood insurance. It's going to be damaging. In Cleveland County, only 39 of 36,000 households, that's 0.1%, have flood insurance through FEMA.

So this is going to be problematic in the rebuild, too. Joel, listening online in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Joel. Hey, thank you. I'm J.

D. Vance, Ted Cruz, Lindsay Graham. Mark Levin, they were never fans of Trump in the beginning. They saw what he could do. They changed.

My question is, and I understand family ties. And Obama's gonna support Min campaign for Peris. Where's W? I never hear that brought up anywhere. Where's, you know, we know where the Cheneys are at.

But where's W? Oh, he says he's staying out of it. He says he's done with politics. He's staying out of it. Even when his brother was getting attacked, he stayed out of it.

He just feels as though this is not his time anymore. I think he's one of the great. I just think he's underrated. I'm a fan of George W. Bush.

You can mock his policies all you want if you go and read decision points and find out what went into it. And he surrounded himself with the best people, most experienced possible: Colin Powell, Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, tons of experience. He had people there up and down. You might not have loved the guy at FEMA. Uh I get it.

I didn't love his background. But I don't know if you blame him for Katrina, but I just think through very tough times since that after 9-11, I think he did a lot of good things right. And when it comes to this, he doesn't want to be involved. He doesn't want to get involved. He doesn't want to do what Obama does.

He doesn't want to do what Clinton does. He certainly doesn't want to do what Hillary does. And he doesn't want to do a press conference with people he doesn't agree with. He would never go with Kamala Harris. There's nothing he agrees with Kamala Harris on.

Nor does she have the experience, so You know, he also thought that Trumps were really good to him when his dad died and his mom died. Put him up in Blair House, gave them full funeral benefits. I thought. I think he's right to stand by. Radio that makes it a little bit more.

Makes you think. This is the Brian Kill Me Show. Liz Cheney really is a leader who puts country above party and above self, a true patriot, and it is my profound honor. My profound honor. have your support.

And I also want to thank your father, Vice President Dick Cheney, for. His support. And um and what he has done to serve our country. Every endorsement matters, and this endorsement matters a great deal. Yeah, I mean, I'm sure she's happy.

I think Dick Cheney, like most people, I think Dick Cheney was very valuable as chief of staff for Gerald Ford, as Secretary of Defense for Bush 41, and as Vice President for Bush 43. But most people and Democrats think he's really Darth Vader, and he used to kid about that. In fact, Liz Cheney used to mock. The vice president as someone totally inept to the left of Joe Biden.

Someone who does, I mean, the worst way to disparage possible.

Now, we watch that a lot with Donald Trump. A lot of people that disparage Trump end up on his team, like, for example, J.D. Vance. But J.D. Vance believes what Trump believes.

You know, they're Republican. Liz Cheney's, there's no way she agrees with Kamala Harris on anything. Except for she's not Donald Trump. What does Julian Epstein feel? Let's bring him in.

He served as Chief Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee and Staff Director to the House Oversight Committee for Democrats for five years. Julian, what does Liz Cheney and Dick Cheney get the Vice President? Brian, I I think there is this mythology of people that sort of in the elite circles and media circles that endorsements matter. I've never really seen a celebrity endorsement that makes any difference, with the possible exception. A vote for Winfrey and when Obach Barack Obama first ran for president.

But other than that, I don't think these endorsements make even a little difference. I mean, the people that haven't decided who they're voting for at this point, it's a small sliver. Maybe about five percent of the electorate, and by definition, these folks are for the most part not engaged or heavily engaged the way you and I may be on a daily basis.

So, I think these things just don't matter whatsoever. I think this is just. A lot of chum for elites to talk about.

So there's so much going on right now. When you happen to, when you see six states get slammed by a hurricane, it's nobody's fault. When certain states are ready and others aren't, you make wonder what's going on.

Now you have a situation where North Carolina, the western part, is really being hammered substantially, and these people feel totally abandoned. The president didn't go there. Tallahassee was as close as he got. He says he spent two hours on this over the weekend. It looks like I'm checking out Washington Post, New York Times, he's getting a pass on this.

And I believe that, for the most part, this is a natural disaster where this administration looks like they thoroughly dropped the ball.

Well, natural disaster politics, in contrast to celebrity endorsement politics, do matter. And we've seen that with the former mayor of Washington when he was out on vacation, when we had a snowstorm here. We saw that with Ted Cruz when he was in Mexico. These things do matter. I think the optics of Kamala Harris being at a fundraiser over the weekend Biden being in Rehoboth Beach, I think those were missteps by the White House and by the Harris campaign.

As for the response, I mean, I think this is white hot in places like North Carolina right now. And when you get Majorcas, and FEMA coming out saying they don't know if they have enough money for the response. Um this is this is something that The White House and the Harris campaign, I think, need to take much, much more seriously. The national press is not covering this, but if you talk to people in the affected states, in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, This is a red hot issue. including in places where You can see the vote margins are very close.

So I think this is being underestimated by the Harris campaign in terms of how significant this can be.

So, Save Our Allies, the people that saved our guys in Afghanistan, the former special operators, are helping out here in America. They've basically been told to stand down. They're not listening. Tim Kennedy's in Asheville, North Carolina. Here's what he was saying he was doing, Cut Seven, as former special operator.

They're in the way. They are directly interrupting our ability to conduct missions and operations. And I'm not going to disparage anybody because we are trying to work within partner relationships, both government and non-government entities within state and federal and county. You know, I went to put a couple of people into a hotel last night, and they have a security guard at the hotel. They said, oh, we're so sorry.

The entire hotel has been booked. For federal employees. And I was like, no, no, I have people that would just pull out of a mountain that are living out in the hills, and there's not a place for me to put them because we have federal employees that are staying in the hotel. I slept in this white car last night. I smell like foot and death right now, as does every single person on our team.

So think about that frustration, Julian. And that, did you hear him bring up Republican or Democrat? No. Yes.

Well, Brian, a lot of the times with these natural disaster relief efforts, what we found is it's not necessarily about always the resources. It is the coordination between federal, state And other response teams. And this is something that FEMA is primarily responsible for coordinating. And this is the kind of thing that has to be troubleshot well before the disaster hits. I think there's some exposure and there's some vulnerability on FEMA on this.

This is not the kind of problem we should be experiencing. After the storm hits, this is the kind of thing. that ought to be anticipated before the storm hits. and ought to be coordinated.

So I I think this is a real problem.

So uh there's something else that's not getting any press. And I think it's important because Kamala Harris is on the record calling out Congressman Justice Kavanaugh during the hearings. Women are to be believed. And she made a huge deal of this. And Doug Amhoff was just told by Jen Saki that he's the new poster child for masculinity because he's supporting a woman.

And then there's a story that came out that got no traction about him cheating on his wife with his housekeeper and getting her pregnant. No one really pursued that. And then this story emerges from the Daily Mail. And it says that he basically and the girlfriend that he had prior to marrying Kamala Harris. He slapped her, and she slapped him back at the Cannes Film Festival.

Listen to the reporter who broke the story. His name is Josh Boswell. I think it's very credible, otherwise we wouldn't have published it. Uh you do not get As you were just saying, very often people coming forward named, and the reason is they're worried about retaliation. These are very powerful people we're talking about.

But what we have here is three friends all saying they were told the same thing, two of them contemporaneously. This woman, Jane, we're calling her, She called one of the friends immediately after the incident. That's what this friend told me. And that's backed up by the other two. And it's not just that.

We have documents as well. We have messages and a photograph, which evidence the relationship, evidence the trip happened. There's also footage from the event, which shows that she and Doug were there. Why is this not getting any coverage? It's got some coverage.

My guess is that it will get additional coverage. And I think, Brian, the details are still sketchy. I think there are reports of contemporaneous accounts. I don't know that there's There's much in the way of The video coverage that the reporter was just suggesting. I've seen some coverage on it this week.

My guess is it will continue to get more coverage as the reporting develops on it. All right.

As you know, this weekend, President Trump is going to go back to where he was shot in the head in the year. He's going to go back to Butler. Here's why he's doing it: cut 14. It's going to be an amazing rally. You know, Butler has become quite a famous place.

It's like a monument now to be a really big event and it's going to be something uh will celebrate the life of Corey I think. And I want to celebrate the the two gentlemen that got hit really bad.

So he's going to go back. He's going to have a rally. He's going to have a huge turnout. And estate he simply has to win. Your thoughts?

I think uh Trump is mishandling this campaign, Brian. I think this is a campaign that has to be less about Donald Trump and has got to be less as tragic as and awful as that assassination attempt was and less about the insults. This is a campaign that the Republicans are failing to execute In my opinion. Because the question is simple. And the question to voters is, are you better off now than you were four years ago?

And that campaign, I think J.D. Vance did a reasonable job. The other night in prosecuting that, but that argument is not being prosecuted. by the Trump team well enough.

So you get this sort of You know, you get this episode where they're this event where they're going back to Butler and revisiting that. Awful event. You're still hearing a lot of insults from Trump. I think if this Election is about personality, then Harris wins. If it's about policy, Trump wins.

But we haven't heard, I mean, most Americans have lost income under the Biden administration. Um Things like the Green New Deal and the EV mandates have been a disaster. Immigration has been a disaster. The Biden administration. Is now trying to deter Israel rather than trying to deter Iran with this completely delusionary idea that.

Iran is a partner in a potential diplomatic solution to the problem in the Midwest, which they're not. Um And there is so much on the table for the For Republicans and the Trump campaign to work with. And it just feels like the campaign at this point to me is sort of aimless. And is not focusing on what it could be focusing on. That's to the delight of Democrats.

And uh, but you know, Julian, if I I respect that opinion if that's the truth, but he sat down with g uh with uh Dave Ramsey for an hour and just talked about the economy. And compare the economy. He just did that on talk radio. With Bill Melusian, he just sat down there and answered 10 quick questions, including how he would not take nuclear sites off the table when it comes to Israel and that they need to be fully supported.

So I think that he'll come off, and the sound bites you see will be about maybe, oh, she's You know, she's not bright or they or statements like that. But if you watch the rallies, he's talking about what he's doing and comparing the economies. Where do you think this race is at right now? I think it's a jump ball. And I think what you said is true.

And I think it's also true that he's been doing a lot more interviews in. In tougher environments than she has. She's done no. hard hitting interviews at all since she's been the nominee.

So I think he should stay away from the insults because I think that is what the media will cover. I think it should be completely focused on policy at this point and on this question about whether you're better off than you were four years ago. I think it's a jump ball. I think it's a jump ball in the swing states. I think Harris still has to win Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin.

I think she's got a comfortable lead in Pennsyl in Wisconsin and Michigan, I think it's tied in Pennsylvania. I think Trump looks pretty good in Georgia and North Carolina. I think well, the latest the latest Wisconsin poll is a virtual dead heat and within the margin of error, and Michigan is coming back to him too, on real clear. uh of late.

So I think they're both back in play. which I thought I was talking to the Trump people the other day, and they said they've I said, who are you what are you down on? What are you up on? They said, we're really bullish on Arizona. I said, great.

And I go, what are you down on? We're worried about Wisconsin. I go, we mu we almost think it's lost. And now two weeks later the It seems to be almost a dead heat. Which pole is that you're referring to?

The Marquette poll is four points. Um And then on the average I'm looking right now On the battleground, the battleground Virginia is for Nevada. is 0.5 for Paris. Wisconsin right now is forty nine on average. Forty nine forty eight.

Paris.

So that to me is pretty amazing. And Eric Hovedee in the Senate race is closing in on Tammy Baldwin, which people are stunned by. Not many people were expecting that because Hovedi seems so underfinanced, handles himself well, but doesn't really have name recognition. But that's coming back. It makes me think that people are looking at Harris More than looking at Trump and saying, you know, I'm not buying this.

Yeah, I think there's slight movement back in Trump's favor in some of the battlegrounds. criticism of the Trump campaign is that this is If you look at how unfavorable the Democrats are on every single issue, you know, Gallup had this survey. The Republicans are ahead a nine of ten. Nine of 10 different issues on everything other than abortion. And if you look at how unpopular the Biden administration has been on economic and cultural issues.

This is a campaign that you expect. The Trump And Republicans to be ahead, you know, by several points at this point. And I think it has been. It has been so unsteady. Um in the prosecution of sometimes Uh Policy issues, but other times personality issues and distractions.

And I think the distractions are what is causing. the Trump campaign to be where it is right now, which is, I think, slightly behind. Yes.

The only thing they got a big big advantage on abortion and women's rights, which makes that reinforces the gender gap in this election, which I don't think is too healthy, but just a fact. Mo if you ask most Americans, Brian. How they feel about the last four years of the Democrats, they will tell you they think it was a string of policy failures. And in any other situation, this would be the incumbent party would be losing and would be losing significantly. And I think.

They will lose. And Trump will lose. if the campaign doesn't get more focused on this question. about are you better off today than you were four years ago, which most Americans think the answer to that question It's dull. And that's to the delight of Democrats.

If Democrats can make this a campaign of personality, They'll take it. Gotcha. Because they think they can win that campaign. Real quick, Jack Smith coming out with this one hundred sixty five pages, submitting it and the judge chunking letting it out. Do you find that a violation of the unsaid agreement?

Don't do anything legally within sixty days? One hundred percent. I mean, the agreement, the rules in the Justice Department are: don't bring an indictment within that period before the election after Labor Day. The spirit of it is that the legal system should not be used to try to influence elections. And what, even though this is a judge rather than the Justice Department, this is completely violative of the spirit.

It's clear, Judge Chutkin is. Uh is a Is a Trump opponent and is a partisan. And the notion that the justice system, again, is trying to influence the election, I think, is obnoxious. It's anti-democratic, particularly for the left who says we're out here protecting democracy. I know, Julian was very anti-democratic.

Yeah, we'll leave it there. But thanks so much, Julian. Covered a lot of stuff. Curious to see what happens this weekend. Brian, Kill Me Cho.

I'll take your calls just around the men. Don't move. It's Brian Kilmeade. Breaking news, unique opinions. Hear it all on the Brian Kill Me Show.

Hey, we are back. Just a quick reminder. Don't forget, I'm going to be in Peacekill, New York, October 20th. It's getting close. Don't want you locked out.

Go to BrianKillMe.com. Chance to go on stage, interact with you guys, what's happening in the news, give a sense of winning the war in history. And. People seem to love it. You'll see a tape online.

You'll get an idea of what goes on. It's a Sunday afternoon, 7 o'clock, early evening, I should say, right after the 4 o'clock football games. Mark, listen on WHIO in Dayton, Ohio. Hey, Mark. Hey, Brian.

Just real quick. Quick, if Trump's going to win this election, He can't be calling another woman stupid. And they gotta stay off the abortion issue because he has to win the educated women part of the population. And every time he says that, he just alienates himself. I know.

Last week he hasn't repeated it since. I think he had a pretty good week. I listened to some of the interviews he's done, talked to a few people on the road. He's been very focused. I expect Saturday to be good, but that's what you get with him, Mark.

I mean, obviously, to you and I, there's a huge downside no matter what you think of somebody's intellect by calling them dumb. I just don't do it. Maybe I did it in fifth grade. Uh mate you might try to do something and But you just get past it. I never even think to do it.

I actually don't think people at this level are dumb. I think they have different areas of expertise.

Some of the policies are absolutely nuts. Dropping the border down, our policies overseas, absolutely insane. The restrictions on weapons with Israel and Ukraine, nuts. But not good worth in calling someone individual dumb. From the Fox News Radio Studios in Midtown Manhattan, it's the fastest-growing radio talk show.

Brian. In Kill Mead.

So glad you're here, Brian Kill Me Show. What an impactful day. We're watching a couple of things.

Some good news: the port strike is over. And I think there's a couple of reasons for it. One of the reasons is we found out how rich the union head was. He's got two mansions. He's got two yachts.

He's got a Bentley. We see some overview of all his wealth. We find out about his background. He was tried on someone who thought they had mob ties. I guess he was found innocent.

But if you listen to him talk, not a lot of great PR going on there. And then finding out that they want an 80%. A 70% increase in wages, 77%. They were being offered 50%, and that wasn't enough.

So they're losing the public, and then we're losing as a country $5 billion a day. At the same time, six states have been slammed by this storm, many of which are struggling to recover, especially North Carolina.

So they quickly said: all right, we'll do a deal at 62% raise, which is phenomenal over six years. And about forgetting about automation, we'll negotiate that up until january fifteenth and see if we can solve this. That's what I think. But the other problems still remain. the problem with the recovery and the hurricane.

Now we understand just now today, Fort Liberty is being using their engineers unit are going up to work with FEMA to get people out who are still struggling to survive and maybe get water and other projects underway. And the other story is at any moment Israel could be exacting retribution on Iran. They already lost a soldier today in Lebanon as they move forward into that country and push back Hezbollah once and for all. Shannon Bream joins us right now, anchor of Fox News Sunday, chief legal correspondent, and joins us now. Hey, Shannon, welcome.

Great to be with you, Brian. Just it's amazing what's happening in North Carolina. What are you hearing on the ground? I'm amazed that the President's just made a statement indicating that everybody is satisfied with the response. We know that's not true.

No, and it's everywhere. Anecdotally, people are saying they haven't even seen anyone yet.

Now, some of these communities are completely cut off. Highways have washed out, that kind of thing. But you expect, listen, if the federal government can't get into you, how do you have any hope if you have no cell service, no electricity, floodwaters everywhere, you've lost literally everything that you have? These people are absolutely desperate. And we're hearing that a lot of people are just mobilizing on their own, private organizations, places like Samaritans Purse.

I've got a friend who just loaded up a truck in Tennessee with everybody who came forward. Walmart donated, all kinds of other people. And she has a friend who's a trucker who's taking it there. I mean, people are just getting creative because it shows you're totally out of touch if you're saying, oh, everybody feels pretty good about the response. They don't.

But, Shannon, the thing is, and you know, where did you grow up?

South Carolina, North Carolina? No, I actually live in Florida. Oh, okay, my bad.

So Florida is great at this stuff, and it's easier terrain to navigate. It's a lot of practice, unfortunately. Yeah, so and Governor DeSantis knew how to back people up, and he was ready with supplies. In North Carolina, in the mountains, most of them don't have flood insurance, and most stayed and did not heed the warnings. Having said that, it doesn't mean you ignore them and you don't use the soldiers that we have trained for things like this right at Fort Bragg.

So listen to Jennifer Griffin, Cardi Cut A. What is taking so long? They are a couple of hours away from Asheville where they don't have helicopters to get in. It seems a little strange that the 82nd Airborne can't deploy a little faster. I think they are they're certainly ready to go.

They've been authorized. It's more a matter of making sure that the state and FEMA are ready to You know, knit them into the structure that's in place. The last thing you want to do is have a bunch of people show up and kind of, you know, exacerbate the system any even more. They're authorized, they're ready to go, but it is ultimately the state's call on when and how they are moved into the state. So I texted a few of the officers yesterday to find out what the deal is.

They said, we haven't gotten word one. I go, are you ready? He says, absolutely, but we have to be summoned. We don't volunteer. That's where you get called.

And then two hours later, they text me back. We just got the call. There's no way, Shannon. There's no way you could tell me this is organized. There's no way you could tell me that somebody is in charge and on top of this.

And when pressed, what did Joe Biden say? Come on, man. I spent two hours on this over the weekend. Oh, that's big of you. I hate to take time away from your weekends to run a hurricane recovery process.

And I'm confused about how sending in soldiers trained to do this are going to exacerbate the system. What system is there? Like, what's the system that they're going to exacerbate? I mean, these people are desperate for anything, for water, for baby formula, for diapers. I mean, this is a situation that you picture in a third world country.

And yes, there's only so much that you can do to prepare because from what I understand about in North Carolina, they just had had a ton of rain. The ground was completely saturated. But once this happens, the storm rolled in. I was worried about my parents, made them evacuate out of the Big Ben where they were in Florida. That was nine days ago.

I mean, how is it there are people there who are still saying we've seen no one, we've seen not any help, and those are the people who can even get to a phone so we can hear from them. There are hundreds of missing people, and we have no idea about the status of those people. They're completely cut off from the world. They may have no idea what has happened or if anyone is coming for them. I want you to hear Senator Lindsey Graham.

South Carolina got hit. We're focused on North Carolina, and we should. And places in Florida got it. But when you try to help privately and they stop all drone flights and private helicopter flights, now you're hurting yourself and hurting our people, meaning Americans. Cut 12, Lindsey Graham.

We're spending tens and hundreds of billions of dollars to deal with a man-made disaster. It is a Biden-Harris immigration policy. It was man-made. It was a choice. They repealed all the Trump policies that were working, and the rest is history.

This is a natural disaster. This is something that I've never seen in my entire life. This is the largest loss of life. In the history, modern history of South Carolina from a weather-related event. We were at 35 in the last major hurricane, we're at 39 in climbing.

So And he went on, because the money that they used in the Homeland Security budget was scheduled for FEMA and natural disasters. They pushed it towards the NGOs and all illegal immigrant expenses. And now you say, without any intermission, Majorca says we're out of money in the middle of hurricane season. And that's my fault or your fault? Come on.

Well, and you know, DHS is pushing back on this, saying that there are separate channels of funding and that it wasn't what they've spent on the border, but that's. I mean, hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars, not into the if not into the billions, to house people and to handle things for people who've come here illegally and their first step into the country, their first act is getting to U. S.

soil is breaking the law. I think we all have compassion for people, but we also have a massive broken heart over our own people. who should be our priority. And if there are questions about how to get to them and what money they may need, that is going to spark all kinds of questions about where we are spending our money because it's meant to be there for our own citizens who are so desperate that it's their fellow citizens are the ones who seem in many of the areas to be the ones who are showing up out of their own pocket.

So, right now it looks like the death toll is over 200. Few people in the western North Carolina even have flood insurance because the rebuild is going to be tough. They say only 0.8% of the 700,000 households affected in North Carolina have flood insurance. When you're in the mountains, you don't think like that. I understand that.

And when you live budget to budget, paycheck to paycheck, the first thing you can cut: well, what do we need? We don't need cable. I don't need flood insurance. It's not going to happen.

So you get rid of it.

So there's just some outrage. And I just think the same people that were helping us in Afghanistan, Tim Kennedy, Corey Mills, helped everyone in Haiti, same guys are now being asked to do this. Only now they're given even less resources and more restrictions, which is insane. I'm sorry, I was going to say, because we are hearing from some people who are showing up there who are saying that they are privately showing up with help with helicopters and things like that and either being sent away or being told, you know, you can't be in this area. And I understand the need to organize, but if there's not anything else there, how can you turn away privately?

And they'll say you'd be arrested if you go ahead and do it. Especially when they were landing drones with supplies, which is pretty amazing.

So I want to fast forward to what's going to be happening during either my show Saturday night or yours, and that is, I really look for Israel to pay back Iran. They promised to do it. The G7 met, they said we'd fully support it. And they say something won proportional.

something proportional of an attack. The President's making comments like, well, I don't know about oil fields. I don't think we should do nuclear sites. Why are you taking anything off the table? Here's Leon Panetta, cut twenty nine.

If intelligence is telling us that Iran is proceeding to develop a nuclear weapon, Then that, frankly, concerns not just Israel, but the United States as well, because both of them made very clear that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon.

So, number one, what is the intelligence telling us? If Iran, in fact, is not moving towards developing a nuclear weapon, then the question becomes: what kind of targets should Israel strike at in Iran? I believe they ought to look seriously at military targets. I think they ought to look at, frankly, some of the energy areas as well as targets. What they have to do in the end is make very clear that Iran is going to be weakened as a result of whatever strike Israel conducts.

Your thoughts. And that's Liam Panetta, a Democrat, who says you have to, of course, take the nuclear site out if they're developing weapons. And we all know they are. Yeah, they are. And there have been very, very startling reports in recent weeks about just how close that they are, that they may have one by Election Day.

They may have one by Inauguration Day. I mean, that is terrifying, you know, to think about. And for Israel, it is an existential threat. This is a country where they regularly chant death to America, death to Israel. That's not a movie.

That is actually what they do. And for us to be telegraphing, listen, you can have tough conversations, as I'm sure President Biden does with Prime Minister Netanyahu. That's what allies who really trust each other and are close, that's what they do. But look, Israel has been taking actions that are very aggressive in nature and not telling us in advance or telling us once the operations are underway. You get the sense that they don't trust us, that they don't trust this current administration.

And when President Biden says things publicly that maybe he should say to BB, you know, privately, like, oh, don't do this or don't do that, you can't on the international stage or in public take things off the table that would be deterrence to Iran. You just shouldn't be doing it.

So who are you going to be interviewing this weekend?

Well, we are going to have Senators Ernst and Fetterman. Remember, Senator Ernst has served in combat in that region. They both agree on this Israel thing, probably not on a whole lot else, but we'll talk to them and also the speaker about whether he's going to have to call Congress back to do funding for Helene and or for Israel too. Yeah, on Saturday night. I'll see you on Saturday.

Saturday night at 9 o'clock, amongst my guests with David Bellavia to bring us inside this operations on the ground inside Lebanon. We also have Trey Yinks coming to us live from what I think is going to be a war zone in Israel and be able to report from there. And we're still working on a few guests. Tommy Laren is going to break down how the media reacted this week. And I think that it's going to be fascinating.

I've been watching some of the BBC because I heard it's anti-Israel. You would not believe how anti-American and anti-Israel it is.

So I just think stuff like that we're going to bring up.

So it'll be Saturday live at 9 o'clock. We're also going to have people over at Butler as that rally will just be wrapping up. Yeah, and ahead of you, I'm going to do special coverage of the Butler. Return on 5-7 on Fox News. You may remember we were at the RMC, and I just happened to be doing a rare Saturday night show.

When the president was shot there.

So Alexis McAdams was on the ground. She and I are going to reteam up again for the return on Saturday night.

Sounds great. Shannon, it's going to be exciting. Shannon Breem, thanks so much. Bye. Back in a moment.

Giving you everything you need to know. You're with Brian Kilmead. Yeah. The fastest three hours in radio. You're with Brian Kilmead.

Hey, in about 15 minutes, Kurt Angle is going to be in the studio, Olympic gold medalist, WWE Hall of Famer. That's going to be great. We have a surprise for him there. And before we do that, I do want to try to squeeze in some calls. I see you in New Jersey and New York.

1-866-408-7669. But first, I'm just wondering. If there's indeed a need. To know more. More to know.

Sponsored by Previgent. Previgent is the most recommended memory support brand by pharmacists. That's good enough for me. Enough of an introduction. Game three of the Wild Card Series in Milwaukee on Thursday night.

The Mets enter the ninth inning with one out, down two runs, held scoreless to this point with this guy, the polar bear, who comes up to the plate. Pete Alonzo. Mm-hmm. Third, nibble and first. The pitch.

Swing and the ball dribble. Wakefield. Free wick back. At the wall. Out of here.

It's out of here. Alonzo in the opposite field home run. And the Mets have the lead. Pete Alonzo, the Polar Bear, takes Devin Williams deep. And here in the ninth, the comeback kids have done it again.

And the Brewers, that was in Milwaukee. There were some Mets fans there, but that was a go-ahead run. They'd added another final score of 4-2. The Mets now play the Philadelphia Phillies, the number one seed. They have not won a series in baseball in the playoffs since 2015.

Yankees also alive. Alonzo will be a free agent at the end of the year. Congratulations to him. Don't forget that's free. First time in Major League Baseball history that a player hit a go-ahead home run while trailing in the ninth inning or later in a winner-take-all game.

Oh, really? I did not know that.

Next, a former makeup artist for Garth Brooks accused the country music star of sexual assault and battery in a lawsuit. Brooks allegedly raped this woman, whose name is nameless, in 2019 during a work trip. Pur the documents, the woman was first hired in 99 to be a makeup artist for his wife. She began working with Brooks doing makeup and hair in 2017, which makes it odd because I don't think he has any hair. Brooks filed a lawsuit, allegedly attempting to block the makeup artist's impending suit.

Filed under John Dell. For the last two months, he says I've been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars. There has been a living, loaded gun waving in my face. Hush money, no matter how or much little it is in my mind, that means I'm admitting to behavior I'm incapable of, ugly acts no human should ever do to another.

So, who do you believe? Right now, it looks like Brooks is hurt. Let's see what happens behind it, right? Bill Gates, no longer among the 10 wealthiest billionaires in the world. The development comes after Forbes pegged his net worth at just $107 billion.

His estimated personal fortune is the ninth largest. The latest valuation ended at 30-year stint of Gates placing within the global top 10. I don't think getting divorced and splitting your money helped him. He and Melinda ended their marriage. Don't ever hang out with Jeffrey Jeffrey Epstein.

Now that he's dead, we probably don't have to make that decision. The least surprising call ever: Bruce Springsteen makes an endorsement for president. I wonder who he's going to select. Don't tell me. Don't tell me.

Okay, tell me. Donald Trump is the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime. Carl Harris and Tim Waltz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, and they want to grow our economy in a way that benefits all, not just a few like me on top. That's the vision of America. Consistently writing about for 55 years.

Right, so if you could sing about it, definitely you should vote for it. Bruce Springsteen voting for a Democrat is like as guaranteed as the sun coming up tomorrow, which I'm pretty sure, according to Annie, my weather watcher, Whitwill. Of course, he's the dangerous. Of course, if he's writing about songs, he knows about the tax plan. Just for the record, if you really want to do your research besides writing songs, which is your option, and I'm sure you're good at it.

I've never been a fan. I know most people listening to me, especially WABC listeners, are if you look at his tax cuts, it benefited the middle class more. That's a numbers game, not an opinion. Mr. Springsteen, Miss Harris, just because the candidate is a billionaire, it doesn't mean he's looking to benefit billionaires.

Next, Angel Reese gets one vote over Caitlin Clark for the NBA Rookie of the Year, but by far, Caitlin Clark gets it. The stats were strong, but so was Angel Reese. She has set her up to be the protagonist against and so smart Caitlin Clark. She made a huge impact. Congratulations.

The WNBA broke all types of records. She got 67 first place votes. And I think that is great. And that's all we have.

Now you know more. When we come back, Kurt Angles is going to be with us. As I mentioned, he's going to be in the studio. He's looking to inspire, go over his career, talk about what he's been through. And also, maybe I'll wrestle him.

But wrestling on radio doesn't come off as well. Just like you'll hear a lot of groaning and throwing and things breaking.

So maybe I won't wrestle him. I'll save it for television. Maybe they could pay-per-view. Hey, Pete, do you have an octagon with you? No, you don't, then forget it.

I might as well not do it. Kurt Angles, thanks. The talk show that's getting you talking. You're with Brian Kilmead. It's not.

Russian couldn't have been any closer. Two passive calls apiece. The score tied one to one. It came down to a referee's decision, and Angle had the last shot. That might have been the turning point in this referee's decision.

A hot fight match by both. Wow, and that was it. Kurt Angle's life would change forever and for the better, and you're earnest, especially in his sport that he chose, arguably the hardest out there. Olympic gold medalist, WWE Hall of Famer, motivational speaker, Kurt Angle. Welcome to the show.

Thanks for having me on the show, Brian. Set the scene from what we just heard, Kurt. Oh, God, man, that brings back great memories. That defined my whole life. That Olympic.

Olympic Gold medal win. Uh it's something that uh it wasn't just me working so hard to attain. My family too. I mean, it was a team effort and we all Had our roles in what we needed to do to accomplish that. When I finally did it, it was like it was the greatest feeling in the world.

And, you know, the crazy thing is the next day I woke up and I'm like, What do I do now? Right. It's just amateur. I mean, it's literally, it's. Yeah Because what you do was in the Olympics at that time.

What year would you what Olympic games were we talking about? 1996. Could you earn money back then? Don't you at Home Depot or something? No.

You know, the only thing I could get, and I got a couple of endorsements after the Olympics, but as far as a future, you know, the a pro league, there was nothing like that. Right. Um you know I It was difficult because it was a little depressing. The next day, you know, I'm thinking, what do I do now? Because I was so focused on winning a gold medal, and that was my entire life.

And now I have nothing. And You know, I know I could ride the endorsement train for a few more years and make some money on endorsements, but where do I go now? And at the time, UFC wasn't really that popular. It it was more of a cult. I would say it was popular to a certain degree of people, but it wasn't mainstream.

And uh My only other choice at that time to be, if I wanted to be an athlete, was WWF, WWE. Right. You started at WWF, but you didn't have to work your way to the small venues. You were Kurt Angle Olympic champion. Yeah, you know what, though?

They made me go through the process. I had to do territory where I worked in Memphis for about five months. Because you had to learn it. Yeah, yeah. And I mean, I was doing shows where there were 30 people in the crowd, you know, so I had to learn the techniques.

I had to learn in-ring psychology, good guy versus bad guy. The bad guy cheats and gets a good guy down. The good guy makes a comeback. And does a good guy overcome the cheating and win, or does the bad guy cheat and win?

So the whole in-ring psychology thing was really difficult.

So before we get to that, I want you to hear Kurt Angle moments after your victory and bring us back to that moment in 96. Come 42. What can you say about this moment? I've worked for this moment all my life. I can't believe it happened.

It's the best feeling I've ever had. I saw you kneel on the mat and pray. Were you talking to your dad? Oh, yeah, my dad's always with me. Dave Schultz, my uncle Fred, my aunt, my grandmother.

They're all together pulling for me, rooting for me up there. I knew they were with me. I wasn't sure if I won. This is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I can't believe this.

All I wanted to do is win a world championship and an Olympic gold medal. I did them both. If I die tonight, I need to have this man. I love you, mom. I did that one for you.

What did you say to your dad? I just said thanks, Dad, for watching over me. He's always there. There's no doubt about it. I love him so much.

You beat the Iranian, which helps. And what was going on in your family at the time? Oh, uh, well, my dad you know, uh, my dad passed away when I was in high school, so I dedicated my athletic career to him and uh My family became closer because of that, and we became a unit and we started. You know, it wasn't just me out there representing myself, it was me representing my family. Because my brothers were all wrestlers, they taught me wrestling.

My sister was involved. She was an athlete. She taught me a lot of different sports. My mother and father were both sports-oriented. We were a sports family, and we took a lot of pride in that.

So me winning the Olympic gold medal was icing on top of the cake. Right. That's just amazing to go through that and have that moment. That's what people say about the Olympics more than anything else. Because let's say you're a pro and you have a great year, you're twenty-three years old, you got ten more years.

But with the Olympics, that's the moment. Swimming, wrestling, things that are Olympics known, even those world championships like that. And to it's almost to go through a depression. I know that Ken Michael Phelps talked about that. You know, you work you so hard you have the single focus and then you just feel like, Was it worth it?

What do I do?

So uh for you personally, you're healthy, you're athletic. Was there any reluctance to go to WWE? Yes, actually, they offered me a multi-million dollar deal in 1996. Vince McMahon gave it to me, and he. He gave me the contract, told me to take it home and think about it because I was a little hesitant.

Because, as growing up as an amateur wrestler, you're taught. You're the real deal, WWF, WWE is fake, you know. People think that pro wrestling is the WWE and that amateur wrestling is the lower ranks. But, you know, so we took a, we were like in the shadow of the WWE all the time. You know, so if someone said, Hey, Kurt, what do you do?

I said, I'm a wrestler. Oh, you're one of those wrestlers on TV. I'm like, no. I'm a real wrestler. I'm an Olympic wrestler.

So, you know, it was. It was really difficult for me to make the transition to the WWE because so many people were against it. Because my family were amateur wrestlers, and my friends were amateur wrestlers, and it was like, What are you doing? Right. I was like, I'm just.

Uh kind of opening up a new career, basically. And did you like it? I loved it. I loved it. I fell in love with it.

As much as amateur wrestling? More. You like the showmanship part. I love the showmanship. Yeah.

And I didn't even know if I had it. I didn't know if I was able to be entertaining or funny or exciting or intense. I knew I could be intense, but to show all these different emotions in WWE and have the reaction from the fans that I had, I had such a great rapport with them, whether I was a good guy or a bad guy. You know, it was like when I was a bad guy, they were booing me, but they were kind of like winking at me. You know, hey, you're entertained.

You're funny. We enjoy it, but we're still booing you. Right. But I really, I really fell in love with it. And I, you know, the time when I had to retire, that became very depressing as well.

What was it like wrestling with The Rock? Oh, The Rock was such an athlete. He was a thoroughbred and he taught me a lot because he was my first world title. I was only in the business at that point in time. I started on T V ten months prior, so I was in my rookie year when I beat the Rockford World title.

And beating one of the biggest stars in the history of the business was huge for me. It made me into a superstar. Here it is, Cut 43, Kurt Angle wins his first championship against The Rock. Oh, put on the rickety slam on the Keysy. They're all barely able to stand.

Let him make this land on the round. What is Kern Ago? No! Where was it? That was in Albany, New York.

Yeah, I'll never forget that night. Uh that that was one of the most important matches of my career. It was so crucial for me to become world champion. To know that the company uh could ride on my coattails and that I could lead the company. To have faith in me like that is just a an incredible feeling.

So how did the Rock take it? Oh, The Rock. He was great. He knew we wanted the movies at that point. He was in the movies.

He just signed a five-picture deal. And yeah, he was okay with that. And as a matter of fact, I believe the reason why they made Rock the world champion is so that I could eventually beat him. And so it was to make me, you know, Rock didn't need to become champion at that point. He was already famous.

Yeah, he had everything. Yeah, but this, me beating him, made me a bigger star. How hard do you have to work out to do that? And you almost have to be a gymnast. I mean, I look at the flexibility.

It's not so much being like, you know, you can be strong and you can be tough. That really is not. That's to me, it looks to be a third of it. But you've got to be able to do older. You have to be flexible.

You have to be very athletic. You know, that's the reason why I joined. I remember back in 1998, I started watching Raw because I turned that contract down in 96. I started watching Raw, and I was like, these guys are incredible athletes. I never saw it before.

I saw a little bit of Bruno San Martino back when I was a kid. That's what I knew. I used to watch that. Yeah. I used to watch Bruno San Martino, Stan Hansen, Bugsy McGraw, Ivan Koloff, that whole era.

Yeah, the Legends, yeah.

So I was just like. I couldn't believe how athletic these guys were. And I was like, I could see myself doing this. But I honestly didn't think I could be entertaining. I thought they were going to hire me.

They were going to have me just wrestle. I wouldn't cut promos. I was just going to be a wrestler. But that wasn't it. They had different plans for me.

Oh, my gosh, it's Tyrus. Here it is. Ladies and gentlemen, Tyrus has entered the radio show to meet with his buddy Kurt Angle. And they could go. At any moment, they could go.

They could go. Oh, he didn't, really? Oh, yeah. Bagel slam.

So let me ask you something. You had to rejigger your schedule to do this. That's how important you are, Kurt. This guy was not available, and he says no. When we said Kurt Engels coming in, look, I didn't hang up on it.

So, tell me about the history here. First off, tell me what kind of wrestler he was. First of all. He is the American Jewish story. Not just What you did for the country in the Olympics, not what you just did in wrestling, but his redemption, the things that you came back for, are just as powerful as the stuff you did in the ring.

So I have a huge Part for this man. My greatest story with Kurt Is probably my baddest decision as a professional wrestler.

So we're in Europe. And I've wrestling Kurt is one of the sweetest joys. of my life, mainly because he was my brother's favorite. And I was beaten up on him. I was able to send texts like, Who's your favorite now?

But uh we were he was He made he took he was the one guy who could leave. The WWE and fans would follow. When he went to TNA, him and Samoa Joe, that feud was as big as anything in the WWE. And no other superstar had done that. Hogan didn't do that when he went to WCW.

You were like, okay, he's there. But when he went, he took a company lifted up.

So when I went to Impact. I was excited. And he and at the same time he came back and we got to work a few times in tag matches. And we're in Europe and he's. Wrestling probably two, three times a day.

His neck and back are just about gone. Because you broke your neck how many times? Five. Five times you broke your guy who like, let's go. Doesn't matter what the situation is.

You'd see him hunched over in the back, hurting, icing. Piles of stuff on him and as soon as well, there's time to go, and then you drag what's and then as soon as you get in the ring, you got Kurt Angle. What is that what does that feel like, him him saying this? It looks like you're trying to remember. I mean, you know, to have your peers look up to you like that, uh, it's an incredible feeling.

You know, most I really didn't understand. A lot of people say this about me, and it's like. I really didn't think I was that good. You made milk drinking cool. He's all American.

That's what he's got to have. Given with all the heat now on lactose and dairy, the fact that he was still able to make it cool, I think that speaks volume. It wasn't like they handed him a beer or a bottle of Jack Daniels. I'm just gonna get it. Whole milk, not even the skim.

I want to come back and have some more time with Tyrus and Kurt Angle. But as we leave, would you play out Eric Cut 46? I think I've I don't know merit. I got the move. Like they some all talent.

The angle slip The ankle muck. Marty. Jimmy. Still, can't walk, I'm just a sexy curtain. Sexy girl I'll make your ankle hurt I'm just a sexy girl I'll make your ankle hurt.

Ankle hurt! Woo! Edre son, eat your hood out! Hands on the merchandise! Educating.

Entertaining, enlightening. You're with Brian Kilmead. He's so busy, he'll make your head spin. It's Brian Killmead. Kurt Angle has got some more quality time with us.

Olympic gold medalist, WWE Hall of Famer, celebrated motivational speaker. He's also helping out wrestling, you know, Olympic wrestling. They got to make their own way. He's trying to get them some funding so they can compete at the highest level and remain the best. KurtAngle.org is how to do it.

Tyrus rearranged the schedule for Kurt. He wouldn't do it for me. I've asked him many times. He doesn't do it, Kurt. But for you personally, you just touched on this.

You said things that Kurt has been through. You were dealing with a painkiller situation. You broke your neck five times. Yeah, and the first time was before the Olympics. But the second time was when I was in WWE in 2003.

The day up. The day that I broke my neck. I was hooked up with a doctor and he introduced me to painkillers and I never had them before. And uh so I you know, people I just want people to understand how dangerous they are. They're very addictive and they they can kill you and, uh, I was taking water every four or six hours.

And uh After a while, your body builds a tolerance and one doesn't work anymore, and then you have to take two. And two led to four, four led to eight. Before I knew it, I was taking 65 extra strength of my gift. today. I was in deep trouble.

and I I couldn't kick it. I couldn't kick the habit. And um So, um I literally uh Um I had to leave the WE. Um they were working me so much, and I had this painkiller problem, and I just felt I needed to get out before I did something tragic to myself. Tyrus, did you know this was going on?

Do you know some of that? I also can elate that his experience has helped the next generation, my generation, especially. Because I've been pretty fortunate to where I really never had injuries. But most athletes, we rather listen to our bodies. That's why he wasn't taking painkillers when he's an amateur wrestler.

Because it's like grinding a tank. If you got bad tread on your knees and you numb it up, you don't know if you're doing any more damage.

So then when you get to the point where you start taking that, I I had an issue with my hip, and they gave me an epidural. They're like, hey, take these at night so you can sleep. Within a week, I was like, holy shit, I can't take these anymore. Yeah. Especially Kurt and other guys before us that didn't necessarily have the education, and at the same time, trying to provide for your family.

And the thing, well, just take one, just take one. Everyone does it.

So it can easily lead to other things. That's why his greatness is that not only was he able to beat it, he was able to turn it around. A lot of guys wouldn't have done that. The risk of walking away from the WWE, there's no guarantee of coming back. He put his family first, and I think that's the greatest thing about Kurt Engel.

Besides all his accolades, like anybody who needs to learn about what to do when you fall from grace, this man is a walking benediction of that. And of course, he was champion WWF and he 98 to 2006, four-time champ overall. Then you won the WCW and six-time TNA world champion. But Kurt, they're doing a movie in your life. Yeah, yeah.

I have a real-life movie that we're working on right now. The directors are really talented. Their names are Ian and Eshawn Melms. Um and uh they've done great movies like um Fat Man starring Mel Gibson, and Red Right Hand starring Orlando Bloom, and many other films.

So I'm really excited about having these guys be a part of my Olympic story. And it's not going to be anything that I did in the WWE. This is just for my Olympic story. Gotcha. And so it's a movie.

It's going to have that rocky type of feel with a touch of. Because it really happened. Yeah, yeah, it's real life. Yeah, yeah. Who'd you wrestle at?

What weighed? I wrestled at 100 kilograms, 220 pounds. I weighed 200, though. Right. He was always underweight.

And you just said something in passing, I can't believe.

So he's 5'11. He's what did you wrestle at, two fifty? I wrestled at about 210. 210. He ballooned.

He was able to. I never had to balloon my weight. He ballooned his weight. But when you wrestled at WW, you were high. I went up to about 235.

235. He was able to get you in the air and throw you? Yeah. Listen, the reason why Brian's asking this is Brian also wrestled me on live. Oh, really?

Very similar. Except we called it a shoot. He wanted to call it out there. It was a great ratings moment for me. People still talk about that.

Yeah, it was all downhill once the bell rang. Right, but he was. But you're being honest. He was able to get you in the air and throw you. Yeah.

He's Kirk Franklin. I mean, that's a good thing. He's a Kirk-friggin angle. Yeah. I mean, that's fantastic.

Do you remember who was before you as the All-American? Ken Patera, wasn't it? Ken Patero was one of them. Hacksaw Jim Duggan was one of the. Hacksaw Jim Duggan was, yeah.

He was their first gold medal.

Well, Mark Henry to a certain extent. Yeah, Mark being an Olympian. Yes, yes. Kurtangle.org. That's how to help Olympic wrestling.
