Hi, everyone. Welcome to A Nation. I'm Brian Kilmead. Hope you had a fantastic weekend. It's going to end strong.
Coming up on our show, what a great roster we have. Nicole Parker, the FBI agent, brings us inside the FBI in a way I didn't think was possible. You're going to love it. Natalie Bennett was Prime Minister of Israel, might be the next Prime Minister of Israel. He brings us inside what it's like being in that country as we try to hold on to peace in Gaza.
Billy Bush, this new thing in Hollywood, where big stars are trying to stay out of politics. Is it a new trend?
Well, discuss it. But first, the fastest, most impactful monologue in America. And this week, by the way, we made history, but not the kind of history anyone should be proud of. We ended the longest government shutdown. Ever, 43 days.
The bill, it's brutal. 1.4 million federal workers went without pay, 3 million missed paychecks. 3 million and more than 10,000 flights were canceled. I actually think that number is even higher. $7 to $14 billion in permanent economic losses, and they say $90 billion overall.
It's clear who's at fault. And here's the clue, they're blaming each other. The Democrats. You know, it's easy to point fingers at leadership, too, and that's who they're pointing it at. Back in March, it was Chuck Schumer taking massive heat for keeping the government open.
In September, Chuck bows to the left. Full court press and shut the Senate down, and watched as eight crossed him and crossed over in November, opening the government up. The party, ladies and gentlemen, is eating itself. The Republicans, they're saying simple, pass the popcorn. I I think we're in an unprecedented moment that um you know, demands that we consider whether or not it's the time for new leadership.
Well, it's pretty simple. Either he wouldn't or couldn't keep the Senate Democrats together. Do you think the Senate Democrats need a new leader? Uh yes, you do, but that's not in my hands, so that's up to them.
Well, welcome to today's Democratic Party. Blame your leaders, blame the pract the practical party crossers, then promise to primary them. We need new leadership. And the place to demand new leadership is the primaries. We should be asking every single Senate Democratic candidate: are you supporting Chuck Schumer for leadership?
And if you are, you got my vote. We're launching the largest primary program in the history of Indivisible. And it is going to be focused not on ideology, but on building a Democratic party that fights back. Right. That's a gift to Republicans.
So if you're already a minority party, attacking your own only digs the hole deeper. But the fight isn't over just because the lights are back on in Washington. The left wing of the party, the socialists, the Marxists, are going after the moderates or the so-called establishment. The long-time effort to keep the lid on the rise of socialists and socialism in their midst has flat out failed. People all over this country are rejecting Trumpism.
People want is that the Democrats stand up. and continue to fight. Of course there's a division. Within the Democratic Party. There's no secret to anybody here.
What are we seeing in Maine? What did you see in New York City? What are you going to see all over this country? You're going to see progressives running. I mean the real issue is.
These oligarchs are so powerful. Oligarchs. And by the way, he won in Seattle too.
So is this officially Bernie Sanders Democratic Party?
Now it's a witch hunt for people who aren't woke enough. I always say to my woke friends, we voted for the same person. You're just why she lost. It's sad because it's not the Democrats we grew up with. They're like, why did you turn on the Democrats?
Well, first of all, I didn't. I'm not going to pretend I don't notice. How different they are. How does the Democratic Party, which is trying to talk to working class people again? Town versus Gown has gotten to be political.
The people that didn't get to college are voting for Trump. Why? Because of snobbery and attitude. I got to agree. And by the way, what can Republicans learn from this?
Not to run one of their old plays is the answer. I would call on all 46 Republicans to unite. to stand together and to vote against cloture on the bill. Because otherwise, If we vote with the majority leader and with the Senate Democrats, We will be voting to allow the majority leader to fund Obamacare. The only path, if we're going to oppose Obamacare, is to stand together and oppose cloture.
Well, that was a disaster. In 2013, they did the same thing and they faceplanted. The shutdown blew up in their face. Obama walked away with a major win. Why?
Republicans had no plan. They had no leverage. They had no real strategy to bring the other party to the table. Q, the circular firing squad. Republicans blamed each other.
The Tea Party went after their own in the primaries, leaving them with candidates who just could not win. They learned the hard way. I'm not a witch. I'm nothing you've heard. I'm you.
If it's a legitimate rape, The female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. Her little daughter took that vaccine, that injection, and she suffered from mental retardation thereafter. Remember that? Don't pick the one to please the base. You pick the one that can win the race.
No one knows that better than my next guest, the former House Speaker Kev McCarthy, who put his job on the line so his party wouldn't make the same mistakes. mister Speaker, always great to see you. There's nobody better to talk to about this. Your thoughts about how this ended.
Well, it ended because it really shows that the Democrats not only lost, it's the weakness of their leadership. With Schumer and Hakeem, the Democrats have an internal fighting. They should learn from Abraham Lincoln: a house divided cannot stand. It was interesting that you played that back because Republicans learned the lesson the hard way. All those clips you showed were Republicans who lost safe Republican seats.
They made safe seats competitive simply by getting the wrong candidate out of the primary. Look, I take a great deal of pride that I'm the only modern-day speaker that didn't have a shutdown. And I'm the only Republican leader in modern time that always gained seats. And when we did that, we actually elected more Republican women and more minority Republicans than any time in our history. And we were able to do that because we competed in new areas that people didn't think we could.
And we won because we were more competitive, we had better ideas, and we worked harder. This is a perfect opportunity for Republicans to expand the base. But it's not going to be easy. You watch what these people have been doing out in California, picking who can win before and then not letting the voters do that. I think that's bad for the nation as a whole.
Do you think it was wrong to do it in Texas? Look, I think when I became, when Nancy Pelosi was elected Speaker, I was elected Republican leader. And four years later, we won the majority by five seats. I picked up five more seats in California. I like competition.
I'd rather have competition across. Make us get better candidates. Make us compete better. But more importantly, let the voters decide who is going to represent them. And you know what?
I think it's better for you too. If you're not doing a good job, you can get thrown out. It makes the best ideas win at the end of the day, and that's what's best for the country. Mr. Speaker, do you think that Senator Schumer should go?
Is this bad leadership giving in for the longest shutdown? And in March, he did the right thing, in my view, and let the CR go.
So do you think he should go? You know leaders. Look, as a Republican, no, he should stay there and keep the Senate in Republican hands. As an American, I want him to apologize. Because you put your own political position Ahead of the rest of the nation.
You know, the whip inside the Democratic Party, Clark, she admitted that we knew this would hurt. Americans, but they just didn't care. That shows the weakness. Look, Hakeem and Schumer come from New York. And Mandani, the socialists, just won New York City.
They couldn't even decide whether they're going to endorse him or not. That's how weak they are. And what's happening, because of their weakness, the party's in a tremendous fight.
So they're going to have to figure out who's going to lead. The real leader of the party here is Bernie Sanderson AOC. There's no question, and they have the momentum, they got the crowds, and they got the money.
So you popped up in the news again this week. It turns out Kev McCarthy, it turns out they were looking at your phone. New bombshell FBI documents show that Arctic Frost, that probe by Jack Smith, targeted your private phone records. Please tell me how that feels. You know what?
I just found out about this a couple days ago, right when it broke. But what's so important here is: if you look, this Jack Smith, who wasn't Senate confirmed, he wasn't elected. Blatantly weaponized the Justice Department that was totally out of control, that was focused on going after their political opponents. But you've got to find out when did they do this to me? within the first month of getting elected Speaker.
They went after my personal phone records. But remember this: when I got elected Speaker, that's third in line to the presidency. It was the highest elected Republican in the nation. And he thought to go after my personal phone records? Never did I know about this.
Not until this week did I find out. And it wasn't only because of Grassley and Johnson in the Senate, who have been working so hard to get to the bottom of this, that we found out that, yes, everything we feared about Biden's Justice Department was to go after his political opponents, it was to try to prosecute them, it was to try to demonize them and to take them out. That is not the America, and that's not the justice system we believe in that's supposed to have a blindfold on and an equal scale to be weighed fairly. Yeah, I wonder if he's susceptible to legal action. Jack Smith is under the microscope now.
Everything's reversed on him. Speaker Kev McCarthy, thanks so much. Thank you, Brian. Great show. A tale of two FBIs from mass corruption under President Biden and James Comey, including Arctic Frost, which just came out and just got exposed.
Hillary Clinton's email scandal, you've heard of that. Targeting parents at school boards, you better believe that took place. And who could forget the handling of Hunter Biden's laptop? It was handed over, and they basically got mad at the computer repair guy that handed it over. But now the future of the FBI is so much brighter.
In just nine months, under President Trump and Cash Patel and Dan Bongino, the FBI is cracking down on the bad guys in record numbers. They've arrested high-ranking MS-13 members, thwarted potential Halloween terrorist attacks, getting China to agree to shut off the pipeline of fentanyl and that massive mob-linked NBA gambling bus, which now went to Major League Baseball, too. A former FBI special agent, a good friend of the show, exposes the transformation within the agency in her brand new book, It's Excellent. It's called The Two FBI's: The Bravery and Betrayal. I saw in my time at the Bureau.
Joining us now, Fox News contributor Nicole Parker. Nicole, thanks so much for joining us. First off, what brought you to the FBI is what you saw at 9-11. Correct. At the time of the terrorist attack in New York City, I was working for Merrill Lynch.
I was barely 23 years old, and I did. I witnessed the entire thing. I was sitting at my desk, I heard a loud explosion, I ran to the window, and the North Tower was on fire. Then the second tower was hit by the second plane, and it was horrible. Horrific.
I explained it in my book, You Can Never Imagine Such Tragedy and Horror. We rushed out of the building. We took the elevator, which you're not supposed to do in an emergency, but we did. And in that elevator, I had an epiphany. I had a spiritual moment where I felt that I was placed there for a reason and that one day I would stand as a witness of truth, stand as a witness of God, and that I would go back and serve my country.
And you would eventually, a few years later, as you were rocketing up the financial world, you decide to make a pivot and go into the FBI. You get through the academy, you talk about it through your career, how tough it was, learning to shoot and everything like that, and what they put you through in the academy, which is, you should, because the FBI thing is hard. You get stationed in Miami, you start meeting some great people, making progress, making a real impact. But then you get somewhat disillusioned, and you break it up through your book to FBI One, The Good. And FBI two.
The bad. Correct. All politics. When did you realize this was going to get really bad? I think it goes back to James Comey in his press conference.
It does. I can remember the exact moment that it occurred. I can picture exactly where I was. I was with myself and my colleague Andrew, and we were in my boss's office, and we were watching the press conference on July 5th, 2016. And James Comey came out and basically read an indictment of Hillary Clinton and what she had done in the mishandling of classified information.
And then at the end of his speech, he said, no reasonable prosecutor would charge this case. And we're absolutely dumbfounded because I completely disagree with that. I mean, you basically read the points of an indictment and then you just basically give her a pass.
So we were absolutely stunned because you know what? If I did the same thing that she did, they would have me off in handcuffs in two seconds. And part of the problem is James Comey, we later find out, in my view, is an egomaniac. Number two, maybe a sociopath. But number three, he's never been in the field.
He doesn't know what it's like to work a case. He has a totally different background. He doesn't even know what you do. He had no idea what I was doing. He was a DOJ guy, a former U.S.
attorney. And, you know, I respect what he did in the past. You know, he did good work for the United States back in the day, but he didn't know what he was doing. He'd never had the gun, the badge, the credentials. He'd never worked an operation, never worked a case.
And frankly, he was a DOJ guy, and DOJ gave him cover. And then he had his little minions at the FBI on the seventh floor who also gave him cover and helped him carry out some very corrupt things. And by the way, you even point out D.C. should never be doing an investigation, even if you thought that Russia was infiltrating Donald Trump. Trump's campaign, and he was a stooge of Russia.
You don't put the business, you don't put the bureaucrats on that case, you put a bureau on that case. You put an investigator on the case, you don't put the seventh floor, you don't put the FBI director, that's not your job. And the other thing that Comey did that was completely wrong is that he went outside of his lane and he was basically making a prosecutorial decision on behalf of the DOJ and U.S. Attorney's Office. That's not your job at the FBI.
Your job is to gather evidence and to then present it to DOJ. And then you get Christopher Wray in there, who to me was a huge disappointment. I got to know Chris Christie well. He highly recommended him, but I think he did a terrible job. And here's an excerpt from your book that kind of breaks up the two FBIs.
The FBI one was in the field attempting to save children from sexual predators. Others in the FBI and FBI two in DC were engaged in controversial matters, targeting political opponents, and helping allies in order to advance their own agendas. Surely you're very familiar with Hillary, Server, Top Secret, and classified in the same sentence. That crack in the agency's foundation was a big one. The clear divide between FBI one and two was impossible to ignore.
That was the moment I knew that the FBI had entered the political arena, which I had thought would never happen. And it damaged the agency to this day. Never has recovered. Isn't that sad? Because there were people like myself, and I worked with amazing warriors.
I mean, these individuals, they came to uphold the rule of law, to uphold the constitutional oath that they had made in an unbiased manner. Put my best friend is dead. protecting children. Do you know how insulting it is to someone like myself who lost her best friend while the FBI was so obsessed and focused with January 6th misdemeanors and adamantly and liberally sending SWAT teams nationwide? They didn't send the SWAT team for a child pedophile and now my friend is dead.
And then Christopher A comes in. He's focusing more on DEI. He was no Knight in Shining Armor.
So the other part is that really stuck out with me. Uh was when Mark Zuckerberg hopped on to Joe Rogan Show. And here's what he said went down leading up to the exposure of the laptop. Where Rudy Giuliani brought forward, and they said this is Russian disinformation. And then he said this kind of casually to Joe Rogan.
Basically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us, some folks on our team, and was like, hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert. There was we thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there's about to be some kind of dump of uh uh that's similar to that.
So just be vigilant. All the social media guys got that briefing.
Next thing you know, the laptop's out and they go, oh, that's what the FBI is talking about. What do you think? That whole thing was such a scandal and such a scam. And that was exactly what I talk about in the last chapter of my book, The Big Tech Collusion, and then going, the FBI basically going to all of these big tech companies and social media companies and saying, look, this is what is actually going on, this is disinformation. Look, it was all a scam.
And you can read it in great detail in my book. It was absolutely disgusting in that election of 2020. That it's reprehensible. It can never, ever happen again. Do you have great hope for Cash Patel?
You know what? I am one that believes that in the end, good does win. I do have hope for Cash Patel. I think bringing in a fresh set of eyes, someone who is committed to upholding the rule of law in a fair and unbiased manner. This shouldn't be a political agency.
Lady Justice is supposed to be blind. It wasn't blind, especially under the Biden administration. It was disgusting. Top four of the top ten most wanted have already been captured. No other administration, no other leader has had that in that short amount of time.
It's off to a great start. A lot of promise. Nicole, thanks so much. Your book was a big education for me. Thanks so much for your service, Tip.
Thank you. I appreciate it. All right, and go pick up the book. It's The Two FBI's, The Bravery and Betrayal I Saw in My Time at the Bureau.
Alright, coming up, Hollywood stores are finally coming to the realization that their opinions don't matter when it comes to politics. Billy Bush is here on that. Plus, Tommy Laren is fearless. You know that about Outkick. And she's here with the media moments that matter.
And be sure to catch me on tour. Fox Nation streaming at Fort Myers, Florida, February 14th. You can't get tickets early enough. BrianKillmee.com. As a cardiologist, when I put my favorite segment of the week, or at least it's mine.
This week I gave my only TV guide, my only VCR, and all the cords in my tape stock to Tommy Lehron. You know she's fearless on Outkick, and she's fearless being here today. Tommy, you know the assignment. Did you come up with three items that we need to know? There was a lot to choose from this week and every week, but I've narrowed it down to some of my personal favorites.
Are you ready for number one? Let's do it. I don't know if you're aware, but about a year ago, Vice President Kamala Harris lost the election. I'm not sure she's aware, though. She's obviously still on her book tour, the longest book tour of all time.
I think maybe longer than her actual presidential run at this point. But she went on a show or a podcast called Storehouse and Friends, obviously a ripoff of Fox and Friends. How dare they? And she talked about her strategy against President Trump. I want you to listen, possibly take notes.
I was aware of my opponent's strategy. And I wasn't about to fall prey or fall into those traps. And Part of his strategy and those around him was to try and take me off. Our game and message.
So I was, I understood the game that was being played. and I made a decision that I wasn't gonna get played. And you need a chestnut checkers, got it. Chess not checkers. Yeah, three-dimensional chairs, I'm telling you.
It is so strange. Three-dimensional chess. I'm not sure the woman could play Candylam, but she thinks she played 3D chess against President Trump. She lost the election. She lost the popular vote.
She lost all seven swing states. See, here's what she keeps saying, and no one's stopping her. She said it was the closest election this century, maybe ever. It wasn't even close. No one calls her on this.
It's crazy. She's delusional. She is delusional, but it looks like she's having a fun time. Yes, I'm glad she's happy. I missed the laugh.
I'm kidding. Number two. Number two. All right, we just went through Veterans Day, an important day, and you had Pat McAfee on ESPN, right? He had the opportunity to have the president on his show.
Of course, he took that opportunity and he already knew that there was going to be backlash to it, but he did it anyway. Here's a snippet of the interview. It was a great one. Happy Veterans Day. And Pat, keep up the good work.
We really appreciate it. I appreciate you, Mr. President. How about one last urrah for the crowd? You want me to do another one?
I'll do another one. Hoorah! You're the best. Ladies and gentlemen, that's President 45 and 47 of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.
Thank you, Mr. Trump. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, everybody.
I will like to say, though, for the immediate people that are going to be mad about that happening, it's President of the United States, it's Veterans Day. He's commander-in-chief. Obviously, if we have the opportunity to talk to him, we're going to. And he is hilarious. I mean, he.
Pat McAfee is a rebel anyway, right? And some people love him, some people hate him. It doesn't matter. He's doing a great show. He has the opportunity to have the president on.
And he knew some people were going to cry about it. But he said, basically, get over it. And I respect that. I do. I just don't even think he should have said it.
Plus, there's a disclaimer at the bottom of his show that says his views don't reflect those of ESPN. He's already in his own category. They're lucky to have him. Number three. Number three, I think you're going to like this one, right?
AI is taking over, but maybe not in Russia because they debuted their AI bot and it didn't go quite so well. Take a look at this. It's the Russian robot. Uh So that didn't go well. He looked exhausted.
The robot, they built a tired robot. Did you see? He was like, I don't know what he was doing, Pry. Look at this. He's like, oh my goodness, I can't believe I gotta walk.
Tired, possibly intoxicated. I'm not so sure what's going on, but it's obviously a major embarrassment. But meanwhile, though, you have a Tesla robot that performed much better. Right, I mean, you know, Elon Musk is light years ahead of this guy. They have a Tesla robot that's running up mountains, and the Russians think that's ready for prime time while playing our theme song, Rocky's theme song, in Russia.
Do you think Ukraine is feeling better now that they saw the performance of this AI robot? As I can quote. If I could quote If I could quote Rocky II, I think it was, where Mick looked at Special and said, You can win. Win, and when Adrian said the same thing after she came out of the coma, I believe that we can win. And Ukraine should feel better about that.
All because of the robot, bro. It's all about Russia. Thanks so much, Tommy. I appreciate it. Good to see you.
All right, those are the media moments that really matter.
Meanwhile, next on this show, Zoom Rim Donnie's win as New York City Mayor sending shockwaves through the world. Former Israeli Prime Minister and maybe the next Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, is here on that. Plus, season three of Field of Valor is available now. You will love it. Great players who are great veterans and active military members.
And I'll tell you stories of great American athletes who served our country in times of conflict. He was a team guy, no matter what it took to win or what he was asked to do, he would do it. Phil enlisted into the Navy just days after World Series ended. The guy was a marvel on the field. His time working with wounded warriors, he did that of his own volition.
You could tell that meant a lot to him. The New York Yankees backed by Phil Rosuto, dynamic shortstop. Phil Rosuto was a likable, if not lovable, face of baseball. Boy, they just loved the way he played the game. And your son's been married.
This is a Fox News alert on Marianne Rafferty in Los Angeles. President Trump is making a major reversal just moments ago. He's now urging House Republicans to approve the release of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The president is saying he has nothing to hide. Democrats and some Republicans have been pushing for a House vote to release more files.
That could happen as soon as this week. If passed, the measure will head to the Senate. It isn't clear if a vote would be held in that chamber. And the FAA is ending its emergency order mandating flight reductions at 40 airports across the country. It's set to expire tomorrow morning.
The cuts began earlier this month during the government shutdown due to safety concerns over staffing shortages. The initial reduction was 4%, but that later increased to 6%. And more than 4,700 flights were delayed today, over 150 were canceled. I'm Marianne Rafferty, now back to One Nation.
So, believe it or not, there's already a major push in motion to implement an anti-Israel agenda in New York City. The group Democratic Socialist of America sending mayor-elect Zoran Mamdani a long list of demands, which include their hopes to end all city contracts with companies and businesses with Israel and ban Israel products from city-run grocery stores. Mandami is promising to open up. I'd like to see that too. And if you think Bomdami is just a news story here in New York City and around the country, it's not.
The implications of this elections are stoking fears worldwide. Why? Let's recap some of the things Bomdami has said about Israel in the past. But you won't say that Hamas should lay down their arms and give up leadership in Gaza. I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas.
Do you condemn that phrase, globalize the intifada? That's not language that I use. Are we ready to end New York State's subsidy of settler crimes? Are we ready? We have to make clear that when The boot of the NYPD is on your neck.
It's been leased by the IDF. Yep, and you guys elected him. Joining us now is the former Prime Minister of Israel and maybe the next Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennett. Great to see you, Mr. Prime Minister.
Great to be here. I wanted you to say, instead of my words, I want you to hear his words. What should New Yorkers know if they decide to do that?
Well, this bombardment of anti-Israeli initiatives by the mayor-elect, I don't get it. I don't see what he has to gain. There's 600 Israeli companies, high-tech companies, in New York City. I ran a company here. I lived here for five years.
Why would you want to push him out? They're creating 30,000 jobs in the city. And why the heck does he care so much? And is he so obsessed with a country 6,000 miles from here? I mean, is all crime solved here?
Is the economy great? Are prices low? Is everything else solved that he's so obsessive about Israel? I would suggest that he focus on the city and not on hurting Israel. Are you worried that somebody like him would?
Win this job as mayor of New York City? I am. I am. You know, I love New York. I told you, I lived here with my wife for five years.
It's a city that many Israelis live here. Many Jews live here. It's, I believe, the second largest city in terms of number of Jews in the world. Why would you want to kick him all out? Why would you be so anti-Israel?
And make no mistake, being anti-Israel is being anti-Jews, because Israel is the Jewish state.
So if you're against Israel, you're against the Jewish state and the Jews. Why would you do that?
So he also said that if Prime Minister Netanyahu came here, he would arrest him. And the Republican congresswoman from a district in New York City came out and said, I dare you, invite him to your inaugural. I dare you to try to arrest him January 1st.
Now, you might be running against him. Used to work with the Prime Minister Netanyahu. How do you feel about that threat? And do you think he would actually try to do that?
Well, make no mistake. While in Israel, yes, I'm in the opposition and I oppose Anetanyao domestically, but make no mistake, all Israelis would be offended and would fight back against anyone arresting our Prime Minister, whoever it is. In New York City or anywhere else. We stand behind Israel, our soldiers, and our leaders. And by the way, you're a conservative.
It's not that you're opposition as a liberal, but we'll talk about that. We have the Syrian president come here, former al-Qaeda, he says it. President took a risk as a favor to MBS and others, met him. He came here and said, we want to help you, we want to lift sanctions. Do you look at this president of Syria as a potential ally, as opposed to decades of being an enemy under Assad?
Well, this guy was a terrorist in al-Qaeda, and a terrorist remains a terrorist even if he wears a tailored suit.
However, it's okay to have them Prove himself over time that he seeks peace. But what he's been doing in Syria, he's been butchering Druze in southern Syria. He's been killing his opponents.
So I would be very cautious about this. We have to continue to stand for our interests and be able to defend ourselves by ourselves.
So I want you to hear what he said when asked: could you potentially join the Abraham Accords on Special Report? Watch. I believe that the situation in Syria is different from the situation of the countries who went on with the Abrahamic agreement. Syria has borders with Israel and Israel occupies the Jolan Heights since nineteen sixty seven. We are not going to enter into a negotiation directly right now.
Maybe the United States administration with President Trump will help us reach this kind of negotiation. You know, I think you gave that Sinai Peninsula back to Egypt. Would you give the Golan Heights back to Syria if he ends up being a friend? No, the Golan Heights are part and parcel of Israel. President Trump himself recognized the Golan Heights as part of sovereign Israel.
So a precondition for all of this would be for him to recognize Israel's right in the Golan Heights. And then we could talk about normalization. Real quick. You were Prime Minister. You worked as part with the Education Minister with Benjamin Netanyahu.
Now you're going to run against him. You're forming your own party. Why do you think your message would work with the Israeli people? You said you were going to be the first one to run as a conservative, and he's known as a conservative.
Well, Israelis are exhausted because of what's going on domestically. Polarization, crime is up, the economy is down. We need to make Israel great again. And I think it's been many, many years, almost 20 years of Netanyahu's running the country. It's not looking good enough and Israelis want to unite and fix Israel.
And that's what we're bringing to the table. Wins elections. I believe anywhere between June and September.
So it's we're in election year right now, and I'm fairly determined that we're going to bring Israel together, win, and fix Israel. Real quick, are we going to get to phase two of the peace process and that means Hamas disarms and an international force comes in to take over for the IDF?
Well I believe no one else is going to fight for Israel. I have to say that President Trump has been amazing. Without his determination, there would be no deal. Without his determination, the hostages would still be in the tunnels in Gaza.
So he's done an amazing job of projecting force and bringing this. In order for us to reach the next step, We first have to dismantle Hamas. We can't have an enemy state on our border. I hear you. That's going to be the hardest step.
Mr. Prime Minister, maybe future Prime Minister, thanks so much for your time. Thank you, Brian. So Hollywood stars are finally admitting they have no place in politics after their Kamala Harris endorsements meant nothing. Billy Bush here next with the move in Hollywood.
Yes. Hallmark channel and the end I don't care about awards anymore. I just look at it as like, oh, okay, we're going to go over here and. you know, have some, you know Dry chicken breast and green beans and you know, listen to it. And we'll listen to people get up there and pontificate about how awesome they are.
As we learned, Uh Election after election, celebrities do not. make a difference whatsoever on who people vote for.
So, actor Billy Bob Thornton, you saw him there, calling out celebrities for bringing politics to award shows. Actress and just superstar, Jennifer Lawrence, who once was very politically vocal, says it's time to take a vow of silence on politics. Is Hollywood going suddenly politically neutral? Is that the wise move? Joining me out to discuss this.
A guy who's a veteran entertainment journalist and can do just about everything there is to do in broadcasting, host of a brand new podcast called Hot Mics with Billy Bush. Billy, welcome back. Hey, Brian, what's going on, buddy? Good to see you. So you know those two names, obviously as famous as anyone in Hollywood.
And they are saying, we're out when it comes to politics. I don't want to. He says, Billy Bob says, I'm radically moderate. Is this a new trend? That's what I do.
I call it radical centrism. I think, look, I think it is. It's proven that anyone who opens their mouth in the celebrity world, no matter what it is, if it's on politics or anything, there is an army, a cabal of little digital keyboard gangsters ready to listen to every word, clip something off, weaponize it against them, and make them pay for it. Brian, I like a world where people say stuff. You know what I mean?
Like, I was talking to Bill Maher not long ago. Bill Maher, it was like no real Hollywood actors will come on my show at all. As you notice, it's like Andrew Ross Sorkin and Bill O'Reilly and people who. you know, whose business it is to say things. But it You know, celebrities have just been pounded for saying what they, but I want to live in a world where they will.
So, my hat's off to like George Clooney when he wrote the article last May, or was it June, when he said, Hey, Joe Biden, you need to step down. This is becoming embarrassing. And for the whole party, he went out, he got pilloried by the party faithful, but I think he did the right thing. It also comes down to how much capital do you have. Right?
Like Billy Bob Thornton's built up enough capital to say whatever he wants. Jennifer Lawrence got really famous at the age of 22. She won the Oscar for Silver Linings playbook at 22 years old. And when you're that young, like a Sidney Sweeney right now, picture that. If you go too far, if you say too much, there's a certain leash, and then, wah, bang, the whole machine comes down on you.
She experienced that. She had to take several years off from Hollywood from acting, and guess what happened? She met a nice guy, she fell in love, she had two children, and now she's come back way more reserved. John saying as much. John Voyager is another guy.
He made it clear: I'm a conservative, love Trump, but he's so great. You can't touch him. You need John Voigt, right? Isn't that great? How much capital do you have?
You know, the best Boston accent on any show and any movie is John Voigtz and Ray Donovan. He's a phenomenal actor. Um although, you know. Does he get cast as much? as he used to.
I don't know. I don't think as much. Look, look at a guy like Robert De Niro. Yep. A legend, but he has really polarized himself.
Right? I would think people who are who tend to vote Republican. would probably not see a film Because he was in it. He's so outspoken. Almost rude, you know, in his views, and he doesn't care.
But I think he's divided his audience in half. I think there's no question about it. More and more celebrities, I notice, are also speaking out against anti-Semitism and the threat of violence that they feel. And I can't believe I'm saying this in 2025. I never thought we'd get there.
But that's exactly where we are. I want you to hear what David Pournoy and Scarlett Johansson had to say. It starts at colleges. People are getting away with basically threatening and intimidation and hate speech, and is for somehow being prot I don't know if protected is the word, but it's not being contended the way it should. Whenever people are spewing any kind of hate, I always am concerned that they're going to be physically violent.
To be Jewish in America is not easy, especially when you're famous. Can you believe we got to this point, Billy? You know, what I can't believe is how it seems to me a lot of Republicans and Democrats switch views like crazy. I mean, there was a time, I mean, not long ago, Ann Coulter or something like that was banned from speaking on a college campus, you know, just a few years ago. And now it's almost like the position is different.
And it's like there are Democrats, mostly liberal people. Who are spewing the anti-Semitism, which is almost like completely unthinkable. How has that even happened? And then you think back to 9-11. You know, I'm a New Yorker.
Brian, you're a New Yorker. I mean, y you know, the Judeo-Christian values are important for this country. I think for the majority of people in this country, why aren't they speaking up a little bit louder about Yeah. anti-Semitism being spewed that really threatens your way of life. This the way of life in America, look what's happening in European cities all over the place.
You know, America's right here. Who are we? Who are we? Believe me, I ask that every day. I cannot believe what we are witnessing ever since October 7th.
But Celebrate Dave Porter says: hey, it's my responsibility. I got a little bit of fame. I have to speak out for other people that don't have the power. And I appreciate him doing that. Billy, thanks so much for joining us.
Yeah, Brian, always good to see you, my friend. Thanks. I love your podcast. Congratulations on all the instant success you've had.
