Okay, it's a great privilege to be here. It's a great privilege to work in this ministry, and we have our younger group coming in now. We've got a lot of work going on, so we're going to try to reward them.

This is our seeker group. By the way, in case you don't know me, my name is Jack Lau. I've been the commander for, I think, 37 or 8 years.

I'll have to get to the back sheet to see. I'll tell you later. So, it's been a while. When we first started, I used to ask pastor, I said, pastor, do we need to be rewarding the kids for doing spiritual things? And we talked and talked, and he said, well, it's just like anything else.

When they're unsaved, you need to motivate them, get the Word of God in their hearts, and pray the Holy Spirit will use it. So, that's what we're trying to do. We've got about 10 of these clubbers. Our numbers are up quite a bit from last year.

During COVID and all, so we had a big uptick, probably 10 or 15 more in the club this year than we had last year. Our director, and we're going to let Jamie Beck come first. Jamie Beck has been our director in this club. She has been working with us. Pastor, she will help you with awards later. 15 years, she gets a thank you card in a cup, and we've got some little things in there for them and the other clubbers too. Now, for you, new guys over here and girls, when you walk across, if you would, you can shake pastor's hand.

He'll give you what you've earned for saying your verses and catechisms. Now, first one in the three and four year olds would be Lillian Gedbal. Lillian, you want to come over with Miss Beck? She gets the first year award. She's going to get a cup with her, should have the names on the front cup, should be in order from the front to back.

And yes, first two are absent. Yeah, make sure she's got her name on the cup, Lillian Gedbal. Good job for Lillian.

If you're a parent, feel free if you want to come up and take some pictures while we're doing this as well. Another first year, Cooper Gedbal. Good job, Cooper. Got a trophy in a cup and some goodies in the cup. Also first year, Jesse Noonan. Good job, Jesse.

So you can treasure these things. I can remember back, way back when I had my two in here, and they're 30 and 32 years old now. Alright, Sam Noonan, also gets the first year award. Shake, Sam, shake, Patrick, there you go. Ella Strength, first year award for Ella.

This is the first time for this group and some of them are a little bit shy. Yeah, some goodies in there. Ella Wilbert. Good job, Ella. Okay, now we have second year, William Bart. William, you want to come over here?

That's it. Here's some good pictures of you guys. Okay. Alright, now for our leaders, Sarah Cardwell has been working with us five years. Congratulations, Sarah. Ann Enoch, seven years, and she gets an award. Ann is also one of our leader contest winners for memorizing the most verses, so she gets a gift card in her envelope.

Erin Wilburn, two years. Okay, alright. Thank you so much. We'll give them all one last round of applause as they leave for now, and adventurers, you can go ahead and line up. While the adventurers are lining up, I'd like to mention we do take up a missionary project every year.

The kids bring whatever they want. We start out, you know, if they can bring a quarter per night or if they want to bring a dollar a month, whichever way they want to do it or can't pay it the whole time. We got more for the Valhalla's and the Czech Republic than we've ever gotten before. We have a $500 goal so that we can have a pizza party if we get $500 for the missionaries. So this year we got $866, which is really good. Now the leaders do help a little bit. We throw some in there, but there's still a lot of money.

There's still a lot of money, more than we've gotten ever before. Okay, now Dawn Burns is our director. She'll be coming across. She's been working for 21 years. It's a blessing to work with people this long in the ministry.

It just encourages me to keep going on. I was telling my brother today, we had talked about different ones passing away, brother Wayne Anderson, and he had two deacons in his church in Mebane. We just said, well, you feel like, oh, I'll stop and let the younger ones take over. But no, I said, let's let the Lord retire.

We'll just keep plugging on for the Lord. Now, is Noel here? Noel Bart, come and get your Tropean Award. Good job, Noel.

Say cheese, you might get your picture taken. Bryn Cardwell, also First Year Award. Hold on, Grandpa's taking a picture from the back. Okay, Britton Johnson. Britton, come and get yours. They're all unique. Good job.

Now, all of these also did extra verses and a bonus passage, and they also rewarded for that too. Next, Izzy May. Good to see Izzy. First Year Award for Izzy. This club was fairly large for what it's been.

It's up to 15, and that's a pretty good size group for her. Ezra Noonan. Good job, Ezra. Wyatt Wilburn. Good job, Wyatt. Now, we've got our Second Year Clovers. We've got Gavin Gidball.

Got the extra verses and a bonus passage like all the others. Say cheese, you might get your picture taken. Roman Hodges. Oh, it's Roman not here. Okay, Callie Lowe. Good job, Callie. Caden May.

Good job. Finley Cardwell. Good job, Finley. Jackson Gidball.

Finley and Jackson are Third Year Clubbers. And now we're going to move on to our leaders. Dolly Benesch. 13 years.

Thank you, Dolly. Amy Joy Briner. One year.

Always good to have new ones. Rebecca Griffin. 8 years.

Thank you. Joanna Isley. 34 years.

That's hard to do. She's only 35. Laura Warner.

Laura's not here. Okay. All right, give them all a big hand, and they're going to go have a party.

End of the year party. Okay, while the Explorers line up, we'll go over a couple of things there. They're the 3rd through 6th graders. By the way, these are kindergarten through second, if I miss telling you that. The 3rd through 6th graders, our director is Tony Abernathy, and he'll be up in a little bit, but he's doing a great job.

And we also have the Catechism book that we go through, and a lot of these kids are really learning a tremendous number of catechisms. It's about 12 clubbers, I believe, Tony's got that's been coming, and he has, let's see how many years Tony has. Let me just get back to the leaders. 32 years, Tony Abernathy. I'll tell you, this club really runs on our directors.

If we didn't have those, it would be a flop, and they're just indispensable. Okay, first one, Hannah Christopher. She gets the Participation Award. Good job for Hannah. And, also, Sarah Crabtree. Good job for Sarah.

Congratulations. And, Avonlea Lowe. Now, Avonlea, don't leave so fast. We also have a Character Award for 3rd and Avonlea, hold on one second. We have a Character Award, turn it around, make sure her name's on. Okay, and Avonlea has won our 3rd and 4th grade Character Award.

Okay, give her a big hand. Look, it's got her name on the front. Now, you're wondering maybe why that one's so much bigger. We make it with 3 columns, but on here it's supposed to be like 11 inches, but the person who made the trophy didn't read it.

I think since the taller ones were tall, they made it taller than that. So, anyway, he didn't charge us anymore. Okay, now, Wyatt Woods. First year. Chloe Hendry, also the 2nd Year Award, starting the 2nd year. Good job, Chloe.

Thank you. And, Trevor Johnson, 2nd Year Award. Good to see Trevor. Now, we're going to the 3rd year. Bradley Gedbal. And, Bradley, you have won the 5th and 6th grade Character Awards, so you have the big trophy too. Turn around and say cheese.

Dad might want a picture though. Okay, Haley Woods. Okay, let's see. 4th year. Only one.

Judah Brigman. In a class by itself. Say cheese so Dad can get a good picture.

Always remember where your parents are sitting so you can face that way. Okay, I think that's the end of the clovers. Now, we have another real blessing. 1st year.

It's always good to get new people when you need them. Sue Elliott with her 1st year award. She's the one that takes care of Ken. J. Lo, 18 years. Appreciate it, J. Steve Lynch, 34 years. He's tied with Joanne. And another director, our indispensable game director, Daryl Michael-Hanning, 20 years. Thank you, Daryl. And, last and probably least, Jack Lyle. I have 37 years. And we're thankful for all of our workers, all of our directors. It's a ministry we just believe that God's going to honor as we sow the Word of God and we teach and we instruct and we model what Christian living looks like with our leaders.
