We've also talked a little baseball and coming up in 15 minutes. We will have the latest on Shohei Ohtani. So his agent actually spoke for the first time since he got injured. Since we heard about the torn UCL, we know they've been considering various medical options. And so the point at which they are now, we don't have a lot of answers.

He did speak out, though. We have not heard from Ohtani himself. We know he was scratched from a Monday game and did not hit because of some soreness, some inflammation.

And so right now, I think it has a lot to do with fatigue as well. The heat, the Angels obviously are not part of the playoff conversation. And so for Shohei Ohtani, this is about now building toward the future. Will it be with the Angels? Will it be somewhere else?

That's the big question in addition to his health and what their options are moving forward. So you'll hear from his agent coming up in our next segment. It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence here on CBS Sports Radio. Tom Brady is back, but not like that.

At least not yet. He is back to his Let's Go podcast with Jim Gray. It airs on Sirius XM NFL Radio on Mondays, I believe is when it drops. And then it's into a podcast and it airs on other channels.

We usually have access to the full thing on Tuesday. And kind of interesting to think about him as an analyst, as an insider to be sure, someone who knows the ins and outs of the NFL, but also as someone who's watching from the outside. And while he has a lot of contacts still in the league, as do Peyton and Eli, which they always tell us, oh, I talked to this quarterback. I talked to that coach. Certainly Tom Brady has ties and he's still very active in terms of communicating with various players.

He's the part owner of the Raiders now. It is a different role for him. So we hear him talk about this transition, his first real summer into a fall where he's not playing football, right?

Because he thought about doing it last year and then he returned at the last second. We still have some QB news as well to get to if you haven't heard the latest on Travis Kelce. The Chiefs know that it's hyper extended at the very least. His status for Thursday season opener against the Lions is in doubt, but they do not believe it's the ACL.

And this is why it's scary. A, it's the knee. B, he was injured in a non-contact drill. So it was a red zone drill and no one touched him. They were, I think Sky Moore said he was running a route, maybe hauling in the touchdown or whatever.

He was running a route on the same drill, the same snap, and he watched Travis Kelce get hurt. He has swelling in the knee, but was able to walk off the field under his own power. Though at this point, who knows if he plays on Thursday.

So that's kind of a bummer. And whether it's a long-term injury or it's not, of course that would be worst case scenario, the Chiefs probably have to prepare now to begin their season to kick off their season without him. So we'll let you hear from Andy Reid as well. Mike Tomlin about the Nick Bosa situation. Bosa's holding out and the Steelers take on the Niners in their season opener. So how do they prepare for a team that may or may not have an 11th hour Nick Bosa? There's an update on Kyler Murray too, and then if you hadn't heard the U.S. Open, a red, white, and blue flare.

So a lot still to do. Later this hour, it's Ask Amy Anything, kind of a non-wedding version, only because we feel like the questions keep coming, they keep coming. As producer Jay has indicated, you all are extremely curious and I am, I'm grateful for that.

I'm grateful that you care about my life and you care about something that has nothing to do with sports, really has not a whole lot to do with the radio show, and yet you keep asking. So to that end, we are planning to do a video version of Ask Amy Anything with nothing but wedding questions answered, okay? So that way we can just refer you to the video. And so we'll do that a little bit later this month. We're trying to get organized with football. We did record our latest Stairway to Seven video before the show started, and that's an NFL kickoff version. So we'll put that up.

Jay tells me maybe on Wednesday, but at the very least, he's hoping to have it done before Wednesday night show, but at the very least, we'll have it done before kickoff on Thursday, though we would like to go over it with you on Wednesday night as our final show before the NFL season kicks off. So if you do not have access to our YouTube channel or you've never liked it, subscribe to it. You can do that. It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence on YouTube.

So yeah, lots of different ways you can connect. Our YouTube channel, our Facebook page is also named after the show, and your questions I know are landing there for Ask Amy Anything. I put up a couple new photos that I actually took on my flight home on Tuesday morning, but they're pretty, and I wanted to share them with you.

So you can check those out on Facebook, on Twitter as well, After Hours, CBS, or on my Twitter, A Law Radio. So before we get to Tom Brady, because I wanted you to hear him, people have been asking me, I forgot because I wanted to tell Jay this. I actually teased Jay with what it's like to take time off and then come back home, right? I'm so glad to be home, so glad that there's no more traveling for six weeks. I'm not going anywhere for six weeks, so I'm thrilled to be home with Penny, home with Sugar, home with football, home with yard work, and everything else. And gosh, my yard needs some attention.

I've got some challenges out there in my yard right now, but as I got home on Tuesday, so I walked in the door around 11 30 in the morning. I'd had a dog sitter, and I am not joking when I tell you, I walked in the front door, and instantly I'm always looking around because she tends to be fairly messy and sloppy. And so I know I'm going to have to clean up after her, specifically in the kitchen. What I didn't, what I wasn't prepared for, what I didn't expect, was the smell of pee when I opened up my door.

So I opened up my front door, and there are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor, one on the top floor, one on the the floor with the bedrooms. And I can smell it right away, and I'm thinking, uh-oh, what is that? Because I have a cat, and you know what happens if a cat pees inside? Very often it's impossible to get rid of that smell. But it didn't smell quite like that, so I thought maybe it was Penny, because every now and then Penny will have an accident.

She's older, she's almost 14, believe it or not. And so every now and then, but my dog sitter didn't leave more than say two hours before I got there, so that wouldn't, shouldn't have been the case. So I look at the downstairs bathroom, nothing. Of course, the, there's, I mean, the bathroom's a mess, the carpet's messed up, just what, ugh. So I started cleaning things, and I still smell it, and I'm like, what is that? So I, I finally go upstairs, and I realize the lid of the upstairs toilet is open, and that's what smells. So I go to flush the toilet, and I realize it's clogged. So my dog sitter left the dog sitter left the house, didn't tell me the toilet was clogged, didn't attempt to plunge the toilet or get it to be unclogged, just left it.

So I'm a little bit confused, right? Thankfully, that's what the smell was. I mean, it was disgusting, but that's what the smell was.

At least I found it, and it was, right, it could have been on a carpet or my hardwood floors, and it was not. So I was a little relieved, but I was also grossed out, right? And so I go to flush it. It doesn't flush. Well, it flushes, but it doesn't go down. Like, it just adds to the clog. I'm like, oh no, no, I don't want it to overflow.

I just walked in the door. So I grabbed the plunger, thankfully get the toilet to clear up and the clog to go down, and then I text her, and I say, hey, how long was the toilet clogged? She never reached out to ask me if she could find the plunger or what should I do or should I call a plumber or anything. She left it, and she said, oh, I didn't know.

Stop. I said, you didn't know the toilet was clogged? And she said, no. When was the last time you used the toilet upstairs?

Oh, probably in the middle of the night or something. Okay. So, but she also left stuff in the bathroom upstairs, like some shampoo and some powder, and so she somehow left stuff in the bathroom, but didn't realize the toilet with the lid open was clogged and was not flushed. So anyway. I'm flabbergasted by this. Flabbergasted and so gross, but as I say, it could have been worse. So I fixed it. It was fine. I sprayed a bunch of Lysol. I ran the fan.

Okay. Then I realized my vacuum is in the living room and I'm thinking, okay, I definitely didn't leave the vacuum out because I wouldn't leave with the vacuum out, and I can't figure out why the vacuum is sitting there. So I text her then and I say, hey, did something happen in the living room?

Cause I noticed the vacuum's out. She calls me right away and she says, oh, well, you know, I take sleep meds and now here's the other funny thing. She got ahead out herself though. I knew it because she had left boxes of cereal, my cereal out on the counter in the kitchen. So she, so she apparently rummaged through my food.

I mean, I don't care. It's not like I would ever say to her, hey, don't touch my food. In fact, I probably said the opposite because everyone who comes to my house, I always say, help yourself, make yourself at home.

If you, if you want something, if you're hungry, if you're thirsty, just help yourself. And so I'm sure I had said that to her at some point, but my boxes of cereal were out on the counter, two of them. And she says to me on the phone, well, I take sleep meds, but after I took the sleep meds one night, she didn't tell me which night I was a little hungry and I didn't have any food. So I, I got some cereal and she said, I went into the living room to eat it and I fell asleep. And when I fell asleep, the bowl of cereal went all over the floor. So she fell asleep with the bowl of cereal in her lap apparently. And when she fell asleep, she must've moved or adjusted or something in my chair.

Why is there always food in my chair? And the bowl of cereal went all over the floor. And I said all over the floor. And she said, yes. And for a second there, I thought she meant milk.

Thank God. There was no milk in the cereal bowl. It was just dry cereal.

But Jay, you do not understand. She vacuumed it and then just left it. I look underneath my TV stand. There's cereal all underneath my TV stand. I get a broom and I am sweeping under the edge of the couch. Cereal's coming out.

I'm looking underneath my, it's a kind of an end, not really an end table, but it's a table in front of my window. There's cereal under there. There's cereal under my chair. There's cereal everywhere.

So she vacuumed what was right in front of her on the floor, but did not bother to look under anything. And there was cereal everywhere. How did you get so all over the place? Did she like wake up out of an exorcism? What happened to her?

I don't know. She just told me that she fell asleep and the bowl of cereal fell off of her, which is in and of itself a little disturbing, and just went all over the floor. I can't imagine what it was like before that, or because I didn't move the couch, how much cereal there is under the couch. So guess it will be opening up the, you know, I have a high to bed in my couch. Who will be opening that up and getting inside the couch to sweep coming up on Wednesday?

Oh my gosh. So and then the counters are sticky. I mean I don't know why, but the counters are sticky. There's a full bag of trash with who knows what, and here's the kicker. I'm thinking, okay, I've cleaned up everything. All right, I can breathe now.

It's relatively back to normal. I open up my freezer. What is in my freezer?

Okay, for a second there I thought it was someone's head. It like someone's, I don't know what it was, a dead body. It's a large black trash bag, knotted up multiple times and shoved into my freezer.

That's it? We don't know what's in there? Well, I started to open it up, and then I had sent her a text. Hey, what's in my freezer? What's in my freezer? And so I start to open up the bag. Come to find out she was helping a friend move, and so apparently the friend couldn't get into her apartment right away, and so that was her friend's food. So she opens up my freezer and shoves a bag of food from someone else into my freezer. My stuff is all smushed. It's like all in the corners. Oh my gosh, it's, and I'm not kidding, you would say large, one of those large black stretchy trash bags. So it is shoved into my freezer. Anyway, is this a real person?

It is a real person, and it doesn't sound like it. The thing is she, oh and forget the pet stuff. I go into the pet room, water all over the floor.

She apparently had knocked over Sugar's water bowl. All of the treat bags are open. None of them are resealed, so she goes to give Penny dog treats and then leaves the bags open. The, it's a big like heavy rubber container, Tupperware container that I keep Penny's food in. The top is off. There's food on the floor.

The reason I keep it sealed is because I don't want ants, right? Like, oh my gosh, yay, and she's really good with the pets, and she stays, and Penny needs someone there now. I cannot send Penny anywhere else because it's too hard for her. She gets too anxious, and she needs her insulin and her meds, and so at least she takes care of the dog. And she's good with the pets because she lives like an animal.

Oh, okay. She does not clean up after herself. My mother is so grossed out, but I don't know what else to do. The good news is I only have a couple of short weekends when I'm going to be away between now and the end of the year, but OMG, J. It took me three hours to clean up the house again, and keep in mind, I had cleaned before I left.

That's the thing. I scrubbed the floors. I cleaned the bathrooms. I ran the vacuum myself.

I clean the house before I leave. All she had to do was just maintain it. No, she did not. She literally, I don't know what to do. You came home and had to do more cleaning than before you left. Should I say to her, hey, could you, I don't know, maybe flush the toilet after? Here's the worst part for me.

It's that she's trying to hide all of these things. Like clogged the toilet. All right, it happens.

Just shoot me a text, whatever. Like, hey, I clogged it. Where's your plunger? Just to leave it like that. She left my house. That is a criminal offense, in my opinion. Like, you should be on trial for that. That's horrible. It's actually someone else's house. Yes, right.

My goodness. I mean, I understand it happens. I'm sure every one of us, or at least most of us, has gone to someone else's house, either accidentally broken something or you go to flush the toilet and the toilet's clogged.

My niece did it at my house earlier this year. It's no big deal. Just let the host know and you fix the toilet. It's worse when you doubled out on it and leave. She just left and then she said, oh, I didn't know it was clogged. So then, so does that mean you just leave the toilet without flushing it? I don't, I don't understand.

There is no excuse for that, in my opinion. No, it's so gross. I'm not horrified by that. And then I'm telling you, there was so much cereal, I could have put together an entire new bowl of cereal. And that's the next one, where, hey, why is the vacuum out? And it was my cereal. You had to call her out on all of these things, like.

And it was my cereal all over the floor. I just don't, like, did she just kind of leave the house and not do anything? Apparently. I guess I'll deal with anything as she finds it. Apparently.

And then left her stuff there, not to mention the stuff that was in the freezer. I don't know, I don't know. It's tough for me to give it a call next time. Yeah, like I said, I've literally only 48 hour trips, two of them between now and the end of the year, where I'm not taking Penny with me, but it's scary. And this is, I was gone for four and a half days and the house looked like a war zone. It just, oh. So I'm debriefing. I feel like I got that off my chest. Thank you for listening. I feel better now. Uh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Tom Brady is coming up and also we'll give you the latest on Shohei Ohtani from his agent.

Okay, cleansing breaths, box breathing. Are you mortified? I'm mortified. I'm beyond mortified. Yeah.

I don't ask that much. I'd share my house. I pay her by the way. That's the other thing. I pay her to do this to my house.

He owes you for mental damages. A mental breakdown that I have every time I get home. Flush the toilet.

Seriously. How hard is it? But if you did it, then don't lie about the fact that it's clogged. Let me share it on the same page with this. All right, coming up, Ask Amy anything in just over 20 minutes. Send your latest questions to our show, Twitter after hours, CBS, and also on our Facebook page.

And then yes, coming up, we will try to erase this from our memories. So gross. It's after hours with Amy Lawrence, CBS board. This receiver trio is just scary. And it does start with scary Terry himself there. He's good, man. And it's just, can we get normal quarterback play for this guy for once in his career? Cause you're right. I mean, no shade to OD was fine as Taylor Heinecky, but he was literally a backup quarterback in the XFL.

And he's probably the best player that Washington has rolled out at quarterback in Terry's career. Subscribe to reception, perception available on the Odyssey app or wherever you get your podcast. You are listening to the after hours podcast. Joe, he lifts a high fly ball. It's carrying deep out in his center and that ball is out of here.

It lands in the angels bullpen. Oh, Tony has just hit home run number 42 of the season. That one goes for 37 and right out of the blocks in the first inning tonight, it's showtime.

This is after hours with Amy Lawrence. Shohei Ohtani has had a good season. Even if it ended now, he's had a good season. And of course, part of the all-star festivities.

Again, a two way player potential MVP, even if he does not play again the rest of the year. But there are many hanging questions, hanging chads, if you will, about Shohei Ohtani and his future. Will it be with the angels?

Will it be somewhere else? Will he continue to both pitch and hit? How long until we would see him on the mound again? What we do know about Shohei is that he did not play on Tuesday because he was scratched. He was also scratched from Monday's game because of inflammation to his oblique. Don't know if that has anything to do with everything else he's going through or if it's just fatigue and the wear and tear of what has been a long season with a lot of responsibilities. Yes, with 42 home runs, Shohei Ohtani is always a threat when he's at the plate.

We know that. You heard his 42nd there with Phil Nevin. Not Phil Nevin, I'm sorry. Terry Smith on Angels Radio for Phil Nevin, of course, and now he sits at 44 home runs. But how much will we see him through the rest of the season when the Angels are not a playoff contender?

It's after hours with Amy Lawrence on CBS Sports Radio. Now, according to Phil Nevin, the manager, Ohtani is not going on the IL, though he is listed as day-to-day because of the oblique inflammation. They're going to check him out every single day and we'll decide whether he serves as the DH and whether he hits. Again, I don't even think he has to play another game the rest of the way and he would likely still be the MVP in the American League, even though the Angels are now 11 games below 500.

But he wants to keep hitting, that's the thing. And on Monday, I think it was Monday, Monday or Tuesday, we heard from his camp for the first time. His agent is Nex Bolello and he was speaking to reporters in lieu of Shohei speaking. So right now we're not getting a lot from Ohtani.

We knew that they were still checking out various options, meeting with different doctors, looking for treatment versus surgery options. And so here's what Nez has to say first about Shohei and how he's feeling at this point. Shohei is in a good place. His spirits are high, like he's playing, everything's good. So I don't want anybody to think that he's not, and especially back in Japan, I want you guys reporting that he's in good spirits. It's coming from me, he's in a good place. The other thing that I feel is important is that people understand that the situation that we're in, he's going to be fine. And we all feel extremely positive based on information that we're getting, that he's going to be fine. All right, so Nez Bolello says that he's okay, he's in good spirits.

And I like how he specifically points to reporters in Japan. I need you reporting this back in Japan so people don't freak out and think that he's not fine. He's going to be fine. He's in good spirits. Mentally, he's in a good place. And he goes on to say Shohei will be fine long term. This is not the end of Shohei Ohtani. But what about surgery versus other options?

You may remember going back to, what was it, 2018? When he also had a UCL injury and they tried other treatment to avoid surgery, it didn't work. And so after a few months, they went ahead and they had the surgery. I think they might be in a similar mode here where they're trying to find ways that they can avoid the surgery, though of course recognizing that might ultimately be what happens. By the way, Ohtani, he's not in hibernation, of course, because he's with the team and he's playing when he can, but he hasn't spoken publicly in almost a month.

Yeah, so kind of locking down. We knew that fatigue was an issue. We knew that it was bothering him. Trying to have the energy to go through, not just the pitching and the starts in the heat, but also to maintain his double duties to be a two-way player.

And Nez Bolelo, who is of CAA, so that's a U.S. agency that reps athletes and entertainers, he says Ohtani will be a two-way player moving forward. That while they aren't sure where they go from here, we know that with this latest UCL tear, there's no doubt that he will continue both pitching and hitting when he is fully healthy. And he does acknowledge that surgery is a likely option. Clearly I'm here to answer what I can, but there's some things that I probably can't go down the path because we're still gathering more information. I think it's inevitable that there is going to be some type of procedure.

What that procedure looks like and when and the type of procedure is what we're gathering right now. Clearly there's been multiple opinions and we're not just banking on one or two, like we're really trying to educate ourselves in this situation. So just understand that. I'm just going to get it out and just tell you that Perry went on record and said we have a tear and we do, but it's completely different than last time. Last time was way up top, the farthest area that you can get on top, and this one is about as low as you can get.

So it's completely different. Interesting was Nez Bolelo of CAA who represents Shohei Ohtani, who again has not spoken publicly in nearly a month and actually hasn't homeward since what third week of August or so. I think it was when he found out. Remember that day he found out he got hurt? He actually homeward in the first inning of that game. Yeah, but he hasn't homeward since then, though he is still sitting on 44 and that still leads the majors, which is crazy. But again, he's likely to win the MVP even if he doesn't hit, doesn't play the rest of the way, but he wants to.

He wants to. He wants to be out there as a DH with his team, which speaks to his character and I think his love for the game, his commitment, his dedication, even though he's dealing with a lot of lingering injuries and some of them are likely related to the wear and tear and the fatigue of a long season in which he is doing both. Do you know this is, I mean it's astounding and yet again it speaks to who he is and what he wants to do and be as a ball player.

Only his second time out of the Angels starting lineup, since May 2nd, that was Tuesday, only his second time not playing, not being in the starting lineup since early May. That's incredible for a guy who has so much on his plate, both physically and mentally, and now is hurt, can't pitch but still wants to hit. For a team that's going nowhere, that's the part that I think is awesome, he's still committed even though he has very little to gain from it. Right, this is everything to lose.

Right, this is not a personal goal here. He's not chasing the triple crown anymore. He's likely already won the MVP.

Maybe that doesn't even matter to him. The Angels aren't going to the playoffs. Mike Trout is going to the Mike Trout isn't in the lineup. We may never see Mike Trout again.

He may have taken a ride on a UFO. Who knows if he's still on the planet and there's nothing to gain for Otani to play except for more aches and pains and yet he's committed to doing it as much as he can. He hates being out of the lineup which is, I don't want to say it's rare because that's not true, but he hates it to the point where he's willing to put his own personal goals aside for the good of the team and that's exactly what you want a teammate. You can understand why the Angels want him a variety of reasons of course.

All right, coming up next, Ask Amy Anything. Just a few minutes left to send your questions to our show Twitter After Hours CBS, also to our Facebook page named after the show and remember even as we're talking about Travis Kelsey, what his signature line is. He really sings it, chants it, kind of yells it if you will. When the Chiefs win a big game, obviously the Super Bowl, he comes up with a song line that we all recognize. It's been part of the After Hours Hall of Flame, but did you know that Novak Djokovic actually either wanted to emulate Travis Kelsey or the two of them are brothers from another mother? Okay, everybody ready? You gotta fight for your right to party!

Wait, can you please match it up with Travis? You gotta fight for your right to party! Oh, I love the woo at the end from Novak Djokovic.

So that's on court on tennis TV, actually after his quarterfinal win. You gotta fight! Anyway, we'll give you the latest on Travis Kelsey before the show is done and you have a couple of minutes. Do you want to join the Ask Amy Anything party? Well, do it now.

I love Novak Djokovic, but Travis Kelsey more. You are listening to the After Hours Podcast. This is After Hours with Amy Lawrence. Time to ask Amy anything, sort of. Oh, it's that time of the week again and I came back right in time for Hump Show and Ask Amy Anything. I just have to read this comment from Luna on our Facebook page.

It's really sweet. Amy, may I fly out from California and take care of your fur babies and leave you with a clean house? You need to fire your house sitter. So it's a sort of a question, but not really a question for Ask Amy Anything. So thank you, Luna. And others of you who are indignant on my behalf, especially other women who understand. But Jay is about ready to call the cops on the dog sitter.

I already called them. At least my pet survived. I mean, that's the most important thing. That's the goal, right? Yes.

It's After Hours with Amy Lawrence, CBS Sports Radio. Your turn to Ask Amy Anything. And just keeping in mind, coming up soon, because there's so many wedding questions, we'll do a video version of Ask Amy and all of your wedding questions will be answered to the best of my ability. Of course, I can't tell you things I'm not telling Bob. Because then he would be able to watch the video and cheat and grab some intel and he would.

He definitely would. All right. So we got to start off a little bit in Houston since you just got back. Karen wants to know what were some of the best parts of your trip? Oh, the caterer taste testing was the best part just because it's all this food and you're thinking about the possibilities and then putting together a menu was awesome. But I also enjoyed the time with Bob. We had a date night in person, which is rare. But it was a lot of fun. I got to introduce him to my favorite romantic comedy. It's very quirky and it's dumb and I warn him at a time it's cheesy, but we watched it anyway. So that was fun. So would you like to know the name of it or not?

Was that leap year with Amy Adams and Matthew good? Oh, so goofy and yet so funny. Laugh out loud funny. So we enjoyed that. We had a bunch of ice cream, which was fun. His dog is warming up to me. So that's also nice.

Yes. We got to spend time with my mom and my mom's husband as well as his parents and family members. So there's a lot of family time in there as well. Yeah, it was just good. It was good to check out for a few days before football though. He kept asking me, are you ready for the football season? Are you ready for the football season?

I know that your life is about to change. Are you ready for the football season? I think he's nervous about what happens once the NFL kicks off. No, he hasn't been part of it.

Not yet. However, I keep reminding him we're getting married on an NFL Sunday, so you don't have to question my priorities. Thank you. So we'll follow up here in Houston. David wants to know how was the weather there?

How do you think? I assume hot. Yeah, it was extremely hot and humid though. Apparently it was about 10 degrees warmer when I left on Tuesday. Bob told me that the feels like temps or the real feels skyrocketed to 109. Wow.

It was above a hundred multiple days when we were there. And one morning I had to do a training run for a half marathon that's coming up in two and a half weeks. I couldn't skip the weekend. I had to run.

And so I was up. Jay, I was drinking coffee before seven on vacation, drinking coffee before seven out the door at 7 10 and I ran for 90 minutes. So I ran in the humidity.

It wasn't the heat at that point because it was only in the seventies, but the humidity was so thick. But the time I got done, it looked like I had gotten in the shower with all my clothes on, which actually would have been preferable to running in that. But I managed, I did not stop. I didn't have a lot of speed, but I did not stop for 90 minutes. I ran for 90 minutes. Hey, that's dedication.

Well, I had to, I don't want to die in my half marathon. So it's just always muggy there, I guess. Not always, but this time of the year for sure. Yeah. All right.

So muggy, buggy, no huggy. We're going to do one teaser here for the wedding. Oh, teaser. Okay. I'm getting inundated with them.

I know. So that's why I tell people that's why we're doing a video version is so that you, you could do all the questions in one fell swoop in one, two hour video. So here's one. Charlie wants to know, have you and Bob picked a song yet for your first dance as husband and wife? Oh, it's so sweet. I love the sound of that. Actually, that's Bob's job.

So you would have to ask Bob anything because Bob with his Texas accent because that's not my job. I will tell you this. I have a song and I cannot tell you what it is because it is a secret. I have a song picked out for when I walked down the aisle. It will not be the traditional wedding March. I've had a song that I have been holding onto for 15 plus years at least telling people that, or not telling people, just knowing that when I got married, this was the song that I would walk down the aisle to.

Yes. He does not know what it is. So I cannot ever tell you until it's over and done with, but that's my song choice. His song choice is our first dance as hubby and wifey poo. All right. So big decision, Bob.

Yeah, Bob. Oh my gosh. What if it's an awful song? What if I hate it?

You won't. What if it's something that's not romantic and sweet and said it's like a joke or goofy? Yeah.

Heavy metal, classic rock. Oh no. This one comes from Rich who wants to know, would you ever consider writing an advice column on dating? Really? Funny that you say that because you remember last week on asking me anything, the question was posed to me, what advice would you give to someone who's looking for a significant other?

Right. And funny because one of his brothers is single and is sort of looking, but sort of not. And I gave him my four things. Actually, Bob said to me, tell him your four, your four don'ts when you're looking for a relationship.

So I got to use those actually when I was visiting with his family. That's a good question. I do on my blog. I'm not sure if I'd ever turn it into a straight dating advice column. However, I will say this after all these years, 20 plus years of dating, like just nightmares and monsters. I certainly could tell stories. My friends used to say to me all the time, at least you have stories to entertain us. Just awful. Just, I mean, I, yeah, I am so glad it's in a rear view mirror. Dating sucks. I mean, there's no way around it. It really does suck a lot of the time, but it was worth it to get to this point.

It was worth it. This one's interesting. This comes from Maria who wants to know, do you dream in color or black and white? Color. Everything I do is in color. Bright colors. Orange is my favorite color.

I've never met someone who dreams in black, dreams in black and white, but apparently people do. I haven't either. This one comes in from Maureen who wants to know if you could throw out the first ceremonial pitch for any big league team, past or present, which team would it be? And who would you want to do the catching? Oh, wow. That's a good question.

Hmm. I might go back to the 04 Red Sox because Pedro Martinez is one of my all time favorites. And I might throw the ball to Jason Veritek, who is the cat or the captain and the catcher for the Red Sox. And yeah, I think it would be the 04 Red Sox season because they ended that drought and I covered that team. But also as a kid growing up in New England, it wasn't just, Hey, they've ended the drought after 86 years.

It was all the angst that had been built up to that point, including the 03 season in the ALCS with the Aaron Boone, you know? And so I probably would go 04 Red Sox because of Pedro. And if I could have Pedro catch it, that'd be great.

But otherwise, Jason Veritek. Either one would be cool. Throw out a first pitch at Fenway Park. Do you have those guys?

Yeah, definitely at Fenway Park, yes. This comes from Mike who wants to know, I think I like this one. If you can get a cooking lesson from any celebrity chef alive or past, who would it be?

Ooh. Who's the guy with the crazy blonde, bleach blonde hair that sticks up all over the place? Gordon? Is it, is that who it is?

See, I really, you're going to laugh at me. Guy Fieri? Oh, might be Guy. I really, really like Rachel Ray. Is that weird?

No, I think a lot of people do. Okay. I think her, I think she's so fun and down to earth and she makes some of the coolest dishes. Here's what I want her to teach me how to make. A shepherd's pie from scratch.

A really good shepherd's pie from scratch. So Rachel Ray. I'd go Rachel Ray because I feel like we'd have so much fun together. Here's one from Eric to keep it.

Or Julia Child, who's no longer with us, but okay. Here's one from Eric to keep it food. He wants to know, do you or have you ever made peach cobbler or banana pudding? Not banana pudding because I don't like bananas. I have made a cobbler, not with peaches though. I made a berry cobbler with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries. It was delicious. Okay, we'll go one more with food. This comes from David who wants to know, what's your favorite seafood dish to order in a restaurant and what's your favorite seafood dish to make?

My favorite seafood dish to order in a restaurant would be some type of a mix of seafood. What's it called? Shoot. You know what? Huh?

Right, it is. But when you have a big old plate of pasta or it's a dish where it's just all different seafood. So whether it's on pasta or it's not. What are you talking about?

Shoot. Anyway, lobster. I would like to do a combo platter dish where you get the lobster, the crab, you get the shrimp. Maybe you get some salmon, some other fish in there as well. So it'd be something along those lines, the seafood platter. What I love to make though is I love to do a Fray Diablo pasta. So Fray Diablo sauce over pasta with shrimp, garlic, shrimp and garlic, and then maybe some vegetables as well.

But yeah, that's one of the ones that I love to make for people. Nice. Last one here before rapid fire comes from Therese who wants to know, if you had a superpower, what would it be? Invisibility, flight, x-ray vision or something else? No, I don't want x-ray vision. I do not want to see. No, thank you.

I'm good. I would love to be able to fly, but in lieu of that, flight would be number one, but so I wouldn't have to take planes anymore. But number two would be the ability to sleep on planes because I cannot sleep on planes no matter how tired I am. Is that too much to ask?

I don't think so. But yes, ever since I was a little kid, I have tried to flap my arms and fly. So that would be the superpower I would choose.

Therese, thank you for asking. Oh, how convenient would that be? Especially if you could go fast like Superman. I don't think it'd be anything cooler, honestly.

Yeah, probably not. We'll do some rapid fire here. Belly flop or cannonball? Oh, cannonball. I'm not doing a belly flop, not on purpose.

I've done them on accident before we trip and fall in. Astronomy or astrology? Astronomy. Pen or pencil? Pen. Big party or small gathering? Small gathering, just like the wedding. Headphones or speakers? Speakers. Couch or recliner? Recliner. City skyline or mountain range?

Oh, mountain range. Come on, you even have to ask me that. Aquarium visit or museum tour? Oh, depends on the museum, but I'll go aquarium. Adventure or relaxation?

Oh, come on, you know me too well. Always adventure, though I should be relaxing, I'm always out chasing adventure. Last one here, paintball or laser tag? Paintball, it's messier.
