Hi, Alex MacFarlane here. Welcome to the program. We've got a very special segment in this segment of the program, and very famously in First Corinthians three five through nine, Paul talks about you know one sows, one waters, but God gives the increase. And it says we are laborers together with God in God's field of harvest. And I want to say a big thank you to all who listen, who support.

And we are co-laborers together in the gospel. But with me right now is the greatest, most faithful, fervent co-laborer that I could ever have. And her name is Angie, Angie McFarland, and she's not on the program too often. Once in a while, and it's always a privilege. And she was working on a piece of correspondence going out to our supporters.

She's working on a thank you letter, and I said, "Angie, we got to get you back on because when you were on a few months back, there was just rave reviews." But on behalf of listeners everywhere, welcome to the program, and thank you for being on, Angie McFarland, my wife.

Well, thank you for having me. It's just a delight to be with you.

Well, we are co-laborers because sitting at the kitchen table nearly thirty years ago, we wrote up the vision for this ministry and events, publishing, broadcasting, fifty-one citywide crusades and twenty-two hundred churches, and I don't know how many youth camps and thousands of articles and radio broadcasts and twenty-one books later. What's it been like? To be the co-laborer along with our board and staff.

Well, I just know that God is working through you, and in you, and the harvest is great, and the laborers are few, and we have to stay busy for God and our country.

Well, and watching people walk an aisle and come to Christ, and now we've got the adult children. Of people who came to the Lord many years ago that are now coming to our events, but people ask, "When are you going to write your book?" I mean, I've written a few. You need to write a book, Angie.

Well, we we'll just hold off on that right now. You're the book writer for right now.

Well, you've written a letter there. You're working on a thank you letter, right? Could you tell us about what the Spirit of God is leading you to write?

So, doxa means glory, and logos means word. You've heard the doxology: "Praise God from whom all blessings flow, and praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen." Well.

That is what we are doing at Alex McFarland Ministries. We are praising God for all the supporters of this ministry, whether by praying for or giving monetarily. We are extremely thankful for both. Right now, as I'm writing to you, Alex is recording radio programs and interviewing Lauren Green, chief religion correspondent for Fox News. I am always amazed and Impressed at how God is using Alex to spread the gospel, the good news of our Lord and Savior, to everyone and anyone who would listen.

Christian youth camps, evangelistic meetings, and more radio programs are being planned for next year, twenty twenty seven. Alex will be speaking at the Billy Graham Training Center, the Cove, next July 12 through 16, 2027, and one of his special guests will be Lauren Greene, and they will be discussing biblical world view. I know this will be an exciting and informative time with Alex and Lauren. I know God is working through this ministry and through His people to further God's ministry through our country. I also know that every prayer and every donation that you give is helping to fulfill the Great Commission.

Of our Lord Jesus Christ, please do not stop praying and please do not stop giving to Alex McFarland Ministries, so that we can continue working and spreading the word of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. Thankful for all your prayers and giving for Alex in the Kingdom of God. Sincerely, Angie McFarland.

Well, praise God. That's very gracious, and thank you for writing that. A lot of people don't realize Angie helps in so many ways, and you're you're a nurse by training, and you've had a career in the medical field. But she's worked tirelessly, endlessly, and I want to say how I'm so proud that I'm married to a woman that knows how to lead people to Christ. You've worked in the counseling room, praying with people.

You've worked in the Mailroom folding letters, and also hey, I got to say, if the nursing career doesn't work, you could make it as an editor and proofreader because you've proofread twenty-one books before we sent the files off to the publisher.

So, for those that don't know, because people are interested, tell us about. Who is Jesus in the life of Angie McFarland? Jesus is my everything. He's the first thing I think about when I wake up, and he's the last thing I think about when I go to bed. I would be nothing without Jesus, and.

I prayed very, very long for you, Alex, to know Jesus, and when you came to Christ, it was just an an answer to prayer, and you can never outgive, you can never outpray. The Lord, you you have to put Christ first in your life, and it Christ is first and foremost in our lives. And the most important thing you can tell somebody is about Jesus and how. Everybody needs Jesus. Everybody needs to know Jesus, and everybody needs to ask Jesus into their hearts before it's too late.

You know, I remember those days. I was in college at UNC Greensboro. You were at a different college, and you kept inviting me to church. And at that point in my life, I was very far from the Lord, but I knew you were for real, really. And folks, you know, whenever I talk about the story of.

And me, never underestimate. What's going to happen if you invite somebody to church? You invited me to church. I mean, this was you know five years before we got married. You were living with your mom.

Your father was deceased in the early '80s. I was living with my parents. But you know, and look, we give God the glory. This is all about God's glory. But you know, you are to be commended.

I don't know what you saw in me, but I'm really glad you invited me to church. It's all about Jesus. Anyone's potential is a hundredfold after Christ, and Christ can do anything, and He can use anybody. And I think we should all be available to Christ. First Corinthians three nine says that we are co-laborers together with God in His field of harvest.

What does that mean, Angie? We are in this together. We are to hold each other's arms up. We are to encourage fellow believers. We are to pray for those who need Jesus.

We are to Put Christ first and foremost in our lives, and if we do that, everything else will fall into place. Amen. My wife, Angie McFarland. Hey, we've got a brief break when we come back. I'm going to give some commentary about the riots in France, the midterm elections coming up here in America.

Please stay tuned. The Alex McFarland Show is back after this brief break. Fox News and CNN call Alex McFarland a religion and culture expert. Stay tuned for more of his teaching and commentary after this. One hundred Bible questions and answers for families.

He's been called trusted, truthful, and timely. Welcome back to the Alex McFarland Show. Welcome back to the program, Alex McFarland. Here, so honored to have my wife Angie on in that first segment, and please keep her in prayer. She's her health is fantastic, and she's doing great.

And we're very enthused about what God is doing. And you know, let me share a little bit about being co-laborers in the gospel. I'm sure that you saw the news. Coverage of the fires in France over the weekend of October 16 through 18. Very sad.

And I want to say this: that the destabilization of France could happen here in America. The arson, the insurrection, and that's why, speaking of being co-laborers, I call on everybody to pray. We need to pray for God to restrain evil. We need to pray for the Spirit of the Lord to draw people. To truth, and we need to pray that socialism in America would quickly die in the name of Jesus.

Now, let me say this: We are so blessed in America. You've heard me broadcast about it. I've, for twenty years, in the college and grad school classrooms, taught about our constitutional government. That we need to thank God for and defend this Constitution with our votes, and we we must. Never in America risk surrendering our streets to the mobs.

Now, what happened in France should really be a warning to every American. If you value Liberty, public order, and our constitutional government.

Okay, hundreds of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in France. They descended into looting and arson. Historic public buildings were targets of vandalism and violence. And you have to ask yourself, who's really in charge?

Now, there are a number of French leaders, elected officials, and law enforcement that have resigned. Since October 16 through 18, because as one police chief said, we lost control of our country.

Now, who's in control? We've got to ask that here in America, because we are, we have been, and are one nation under God. You know, someone asked Cotton Mather. Who is the king in America? And Cotton Mather said, "I'll tell you, sir.

He reigns above." So in America, the one that our founders envisioned would be in control would be God. But all of the recent unrest in France shows that there, at least, where Christianity has been mocked, ignored, suppressed, the citizens and the elected officials and the rule of law weren't in charge. The most Aggressive factions, and by the way, it's well known now that it wasn't just high schoolers lamenting the shortage of teachers, as we were told. Thirty-two plus Marxist and Muslim groups, funded with foreign money, were they were paid agitators, and we've seen that in America, and that we need to pray about that because this is fundamentally, as Lauren Green of Fox News. This is fundamentally a spiritual battle.

Now, the unrest in France, the five hundred thousand to eight hundred thousand participants across La Hexagon—that's what they call France, the six-sided country—violent confrontations, looting, attacks on public buildings, and the torching of the Limoges historic city hall. I mean, you think about this: this gorgeous building. That survived Nazi occupation, survived two World Wars. It burned to the ground as rioters inflicted catastrophic damage. And the footage—this is truly globally.

Tragic as the the clock tower fell, the roof caved in, and and gleefully the Marxists and Muslims were dancing, as the attacks on these public facilities and buildings escalated. And those very same insurrectionists warned on Sunday, October 17, that they were going to torch the cathedral at Notre Dame.

Now I was. On the road preaching, April of 2019, when Notre Dame burned. One of the global landmarks, a symbol of Christianity for centuries, and it burned to the ground. Supposedly, a worker had left a light bulb on that caught fire, and Notre Dame burned. More than a billion dollars was raised, and it was December seven and eight of twenty four that it was rededicated.

Lauren Green of Fox News was there, and we actually had her live on the radio from. Notre Dame Cathedral, recently restored. It was a miracle of God that the incredible. Most of the stained glass windows had survived, not all. But now these rioters in France are threatening to torch Notre Dame, and the destruction of such landmarks is an act of vandalism and more.

It's the assault on the shared heritage of that nation.

Now, citizens have every right to have grievances heard, and they. Can organize and vote for political change, but there is an unmistakable line between reasoned dissent and deliberate destruction of public property, and crossing that line threatens democracy by replacing persuasion and lawful political participation with coercion. And yeah, I think about the L.A. riots in the aftermath of O.J. Simpson's trial and the Rodney King.

The trashing of cities in the aftermath of Rodney King's death. Listen, in America, we don't do that. We need to pray against that. And we're living in a time right now, as we get towards these elections, the midterms, that political polarization has really reached alarming levels. And we we've seen demonstrations become destructive.

Public officials threatened a major CEO. Of a healthcare company, gunned down because he was wealthy and successful, and because a claim had been denied. And political opponents are portrayed as enemies to be defeated at any cost. Even the Democrat strategist James Carville, who on most days he and I would probably agree on nothing. He recently said that he's concerned that the Democrat Party is going socialist, and frankly, he wishes in this election that the GOP would retain the House.

So we've got to take a break, but now we must be reminded, watching France, that a free society cannot survive if intimidation becomes an accepted instrument. Of political influence, we've got a brief break. Stay tuned. Biblical worldview and our role at being the stabilizing force in the culture. Stay tuned.

So please. Pray, please support as you feel so led, and we are grateful.

Now, in the meantime, I'm going to ask you, every one of you, to go out and vote. They estimate maybe. Maybe on a good day, forty-three percent of evangelicals vote. Listen to this: We have to let people know. In watching France, and having spoken at more than a hundred American university campuses, I've had protesters.

I've had threats. We've had fights break out simply to say the name of Jesus. Here's the thing, folks: the mob is not the electorate. The polarization in America. America is alarming, and France is a reminder that a free society cannot survive if intimidation and violence becomes an accepted instrument of political influence.

Let me explain.

Now, the ideological roots of this activism come from Karl Marx himself. Karl Marx said that a revolutionary transformation of society must happen through class. Conflict—that's class envy—and later radical organizers developed confrontational strategies for the redistribution, not just of wealth, but the redistribution of political power.

Now, Barack Obama—he was very clear. He said his number one influence and his favorite book. His influence was Saul Alinsky, and Saul Alinsky's 1971 book, "Rules for Radicals." Had influenced him more than any other book.

Well, this is horrid. Alinsky was a God-hating, atheistic Marxist, and in Rules for Radicals, Alinsky lays out the tactics for organizing pressure campaigns and exploiting political divisions, confronting opponents, and leveraging class envy. And we're seeing that, you know, for Karl Marx, who hated God and Christianity, and the descendants. Intimidation, destruction, contempt for constitutional limits are acceptable means to achieve political ends. And the thing going on in France, you know, really points to the mixture of demonstrators, activists, violent factions that are working to overthrow any sort of civility.

So that basically, this red-green alliance, which is a mixture of government control, communism infused with Islam and Sharia, and look, the Marxist—they don't care that it's Islam. See, they don't mind religion as long as it's not Christianity. In a civilized republic, disagreements are resolved through reason, law, elections, civic responsibility, not through threats and the burning down of buildings. And so, folks, I beg, I plead, you must pray for America, and you must get out and vote and vote for constitutionalists, the Democrats, socialists. Folks, I've been at this a long time.

I've read more anti-American books than most people have read pro-America or pro-Christian books, and I assure you, I write about this in my book, *The Assault on America: How to Defend Our Nation Before It's Too Late*. I wrote it in my book, *Ten Issues That Divide Christians*. Folks, I assure you. The left are bent on the U.S. Constitution being.

Removed, and I want to say this is not your father's Democrat Party. This is not the FDR Democrat Party. This is a radical, globalist, communist at any cost ideology. And we must not wait until unrest becomes an accepted feature of our political life. All ages need to know and value the principles that make self-government.

Possible. That's why I think we need to teach civics again in class, and we need teachers that proudly teach American history from a genuinely patriotic perspective. And we cannot allow political violence to be present. And one of the things we must do, because our future hangs on a knife's edge, it really does. November third, twenty twenty-six.

The choice before us could not be. More stark, constitutional self-government, or the growing influence of socialists who believe that the loudest, angriest, most you know bullying, destructive faction should prevail. And so it's time, folks. We've got to choose the ballot over bullying, liberty under law over the rule of the mob. And we've got to restore confidence and, frankly, appreciation for our republic, and ensure that class envy and acrimony and violence never become excuses to destroy the country we share.

Now, our friend, we've had him on many times, Eric Metaxas. He put out a tweet on Monday, October nineteenth, I believe it was, and he said, "The American pulpit." Is destroying the American church. You might say, "Well, how in the world could that be?" And he said, "Because pulpits that are giving these milk toast, B-grade motivational speeches, it is time that the ministers and I am one, and I call on my fellow clergy to do the same. We have got to call sinners to repentance and talk about a supernatural God who conquered death in the grave. He gave the Holy Bible, that is the infallible Word of God." God, God made an everlasting covenant with Abraham.

The land of Israel belongs to the Israelites, and there is no savior but Jesus. And there are two genders only, male and female, and marriages between a man and a woman. And abortion, the killing of the unborn, is morally wrong. And we've got to get out and vote. It is part of our God-ordained citizenship responsibility.

So, folks, please pray. Please influence others. Pray for us. We're doing what God's called us to do, and I pray that God will move many of you to support what we're doing. But pray.

For America, for the next couple of weeks, and with your vote, defend constitutional government before the flames of destruction reach our own doorstep, as they have in France. Vive la France! And may God bless and restore America. And remember First Corinthians three nine, where co-laborers together in God's field of harvest.
