Jesus promised to be the light of the world, guiding those who follow Him away from darkness and into the light of life. The darkness is not a power, but rather the absence of light, and even the smallest candle can dispel it. As a child of light, one can walk in the light of Christ and find solid ground with His grace and truth.

When you're in Christ, the devil can't turn out the lights, leaving you in a dark room, stumbling through the shadows, bruising your shins on corners of tables. I am the light of the world, Jesus promised. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
John 8 12. The darkness isn't a power. It's the absence of light. The smallest candle can expel the blackest night. But no darkness can stuff out even the dimmest light. You are a child of light. So I bless you to walk in the light of Christ today. May His grace illumine every step, may His truth expel every shadow, and may your foot find solid ground.
