I bless you today to not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving that you may let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4-6. Not anxious about anything? Really? Worry about nothing?
Yes. It is part of your inheritance, part of what Christ bought for you. No worries. There is no blessing in this world for the guarantee of a trouble-free life, but there is every possibility of a worry-free life. Worry adds nothing but weight that makes heavy the heart. So, I join with God to invite you to reject worry of every sort. May you turn every what if something bad happens into what if something good happens? May you turn every anxious thought into a prayer? Because when your knees grow calloused, your heart does not.
