According to Elijah, false gods require strenuous efforts and endless dancing, whereas the true God is known by grace through faith. False gods push you toward destruction, but the true God mutilated himself for you. The true God answers by a miracle, leading to soul drought, but the true God delusions us with living water. Elijah's story teaches us to decide that God is God, to run with God, and to soar in faith.
