A group of blue-collar workers embark on a modern-day treasure hunt to uncover the sunken steamboat Arabia, which sank in the Missouri River in 1856, carrying 400 barrels of Kentucky's finest bourbon. Their journey takes them through fields and farm lands, where they use a proton magnetometer to pinpoint the location of the boat. After a four-and-a-half-month dig, they uncover a remarkably well-preserved collection of everyday items, including china dishes, food, and champagne, which are now on display at the Steamboat Arabia Museum in Kansas City, Missouri.
