Danielle Michelson's story begins in Rolla, North Dakota, where she grew up gardening and eventually turned her passion into a business, Michelson Tiny Plants. However, her success was threatened by the North Dakota Department of Health's attempt to repeal the Cottage Food Law, which allowed her to sell food she otherwise couldn't. With the help of the Institute for Justice, Danielle fought against the administrative rules and won, paving the way for her business to grow and expand.
