Apostle Paul and his companions find themselves shipwrecked on the island of Malta, where they experience extraordinary kindness from the natives, despite being exhausted and in danger. Paul's humility and service to others are revealed as he gathers sticks in the rain, and he later shakes off a viper that has bitten him without suffering any harm. The islanders are amazed by Paul's power and begin to see him as a god, but he is called to suffer more and to serve others. Through his experiences, Paul learns about the importance of faith and trust in God's care and providence, and he ministers to the people on the island, producing fruit in the most unusual of places.
