Theodore Ollman, an immigrant from Austria-Hungary, developed a deep appreciation for the Declaration of Independence after being taught about it by his teacher. He used his lithography skills to create a lifelike replica of the document, which he donated to the Library of Congress. Ollman's masterpiece is considered the most authentic restoration of the Declaration of Independence, and he went on to create 30,000 copies, many of which are still in existence today.
