The tabernacle was a sanctuary that communicated spiritual lessons about heaven and the holiness of God. It was a place of God's holy presence in the midst of his people, where he dwelled amongst them. The tabernacle taught the Israelites about holiness, the means by which the Father gives to his son help to enter his presence and relate to the Lord. It was a tangible place for Israel to relate to their God through sacrifices and prayers, recreating the relationship that existed before the fall of Adam and Eve into sin.
