As followers of Jesus Christ, we have the freedom to exercise our Christian liberty in various gray areas of life, but we must consider the potential consequences of our actions. God measures spiritual maturity not by how much of our liberty we insist on exercising, but by how much of our liberty we're willing to defer for the sake of our own spiritual well-being, for the sake of other people's spiritual benefit, and for the sake of the advancement of the kingdom of God.
