But since we discovered she has sensitive skin, we've been playing detective too. We thought the problem was our puppy. But it was actually our old detergent.

Aha. So we switched to Tide Free and Gentle. Tide Clean's better than the leading competitive free detergent, and it doesn't leave behind irritating residues. Plus, Tide Free and Gentle has no dyes or perfumes, so it's gentle on her skin. Case closed.

If it's got to be clean, it's got to be Tide Free and Gentle. It is! The J.R. Sport Brief Show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to everybody tuned in and locked in all over North America. I don't know where you at.

I don't know what you're doing, but I'm glad you're here with me. I appreciate that. You can always listen to this show on the free Odyssey app. The Infinity Sports Network affiliate wherever you live. Sirius XM Channel 158.

If you've got a smart speaker, ask it to play the Infinity Sports Network. Thank you so much to our super producer and host, Ryan Hickey. He's holding it down in New York City. And this is the time that we get started every single weekday.

Six p.m. Eastern, three Pacific. This afternoon, we got some news. Russell Westbrook is on his way to the Jazz. It doesn't appear that he's staying.

It looks like he's going to. Well, we'll talk about that in a second. Also. More NFL news. Everybody's talking about the Bears.

Bears this, Bears that, Bears this, Bears. What about the Texans? That's the other team in the Hall of Fame game.

That's the other team that showed up to camp. And then we'll have an opportunity to talk some some football, some Texas football. They might be the best damn NFL team.

In the state of Texas, I think they are. We'll get into some Texas football. We have some great guests that are going to join us. A matter of fact, Jordan Dajani from CBS Sports. He covers all things NFL.

He'll be here with us in about 20 minutes. We'll talk Texans. We'll get into some of the other news that's going on throughout the course of the league. I hear the Miami Dolphins are still trying to big up to a Tonga Velloa.

Of course they are. I see the Dodgers are going to open next season against the Cubs in Japan. It seems like those are our two prime candidates, given that they both have some high.

Well, how do I say this appropriately? They have amazing Japanese players. There we have it. Speaking of amazing, Bronny James, I'm not going to say he had an amazing game, but he had a good one yesterday. I guess people will get off of his back for 24 hours. Tiger Woods not having an amazing start to the open.

Not a good one at all. We'll talk about that. We have another guest coming through.

Matt Moore from the Action Network is going to join us. Knows all things, well, nuggets. And so we'll get into everything. If you want to communicate, you want to holler at me here on the show, you can call up the number 855-212-4227.

That's 855-212-4227. You can find me online. I'm at JR Sport Brief. And if you do that, you would have known about everything that we will discuss already.

Most of the things because we can't just put everything on social media. Super producer and host Ryan Hickey. How are you this Thursday afternoon? I'm doing well today, JR. Thank you for asking.

Good. Nothing spectacular. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Yeah, just been, I mean, honestly, an average run of the day, which sometimes, you know, they say no news is good news. That is applicable here today. Well, that's good. I'm happy, man.

That's good stuff. I'm happy. If Hickey's happy, I'm happy. Put it that way. Somebody else I think is happy.

Hickey, I think this guy's happy. Let's take a listen to this news that came down the pipe this afternoon from CBS Sports HQ. We've got breaking news out of the NBA where the Clippers are trading Russell Westbrook, a second round pick swap and cash to the Utah Jazz.

That has been confirmed by our Bill Rider. In return, LA rules, Steve, Chris Dunn as part of a sign and trade ESPN reports that Utah is expected to buy out Westbrook paving the way for the future Hall of Famer to sign with the Denver Nuggets. Westbrook, a former MVP and member of the league's 75th anniversary team, will be joining his fourth team in the past five seasons. Last year, he averaged just over 11 points, five rebounds and four and a half assists attempts per game with the Clippers.

Wow. Russell Westbrook is moving again. Russell Westbrook is on his way to the Denver Nuggets on what is likely going to be a veteran's minimum contract at about three million bucks. It's kind of crazy to think about this because he doesn't appear to age for the most part. Russell Westbrook is 35 years old. He is now going to be out here.

Running around. I guess cutting to the basket, playing with Nikola Jokic. Now let's look at this from a Clippers perspective first.

Let's get that out of the way. Hickey, am I safe to say the Clippers are likely going to be trash? Is that safe with their two best players being Kawhi Leonard, who's never healthy, and James Harden?

I would say yes. Yeah, they're going to be trash. They're going to be wasting time. Whoever's out there is going to be jacking up threes.

And that's all she wrote. Congratulations to the Los Angeles Clippers as you move into your new building with the fancy toilets. Thank you so much, Steve Ballmer, for spending and investing so much money into what it starts with an eye, the Intuit Dome, that's actually an arena.

Congratulations. Everybody cares about the Lakers and the Clippers are irrelevant. I'm going to feel even worse, Hickey, when they are really, really bad, when Kawhi and James Harden are really, really gone, because they have nothing. They have nobody. They're going to have to get lucky.

They're trash in the new stadium. We can get cheap tickets. You want to go? I mean, I'm interested. I would definitely like to go. I mean, look, I like to pee in peace. And I'm sure there's going to be a whole hell of a lot of technological advances in there, too. So why not?

Well, you don't have to worry about lines for the bathroom because I don't think they're going to be people in there. OK, sooner than later. Congratulations to the Clippers, reminding everybody that you are your second best. It's just what it is. So now that we got the Clippers out the way, let's talk about the team that actually went to and won a championship two seasons ago. Let's talk about the Denver Nuggets. The Denver Nuggets are adding an MVP. The Denver Nuggets are bringing in a guy that was Mr. Triple Double on a team that Kevin Durant said, I don't want to be here anymore.

It's just basically what it is. The Denver Nuggets are adding the NBA's all time leader in Triple Doubles. That's Russell Westbrook. And maybe maybe one day Russell Westbrook will be respected. When he's done, when he hangs up, I was going to say the boots, but they don't wear boots in basketball, when he hangs up the sneakers, he hangs up the kicks and his Hall of Fame speech, maybe at that point, people will give Russell Westbrook a break. I feel like we had reached the apex of Russell Westbrook when he was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and people weren't going to refer to him as West Brick. That's the only time I'm going to say it because I don't want him sending me an angry message.

He will get in somebody's face in person if you call him out of his name. And so he's far gone from 2017 that MVP. Them days are over. He had to come off of the bench last year for the Los Angeles Clippers. Even when he started, the man is 11 points, five rebounds and five assists. That's a long way off from his 30, 10 and 10.

That is a very, very long way off. And for Denver Nuggets team, they need bodies. They need help. They need people who can score the basketball. We just watched the Boston Celtics win a championship based on depth, the quality of players on their roster. If I got to go back two seasons when the Denver Nuggets won a title, they had Jeff Green.

He was still old, but he was still good. Go play defense, knock down threes. They had Bruce Brown. Go play defense, knock down threes. Man, they had Reggie Jackson. They didn't even play that man. And just this past offseason, they've lost another guy. Kentavious Caldwell Pope, he's gone. He's with the Orlando Magic. That's what happens when you win, right?

You've got to start paying people for the success. And so if I'm the Denver Nuggets, and am I now trusting that some of these other guys that they got on the roster, a Trey Murray? No, thank you. Do I think Christian Brown is going to wake up and be a contributor?

No, thank you. Jamal Murray, I'm expecting him to sprain an ankle any minute, any day now. And for the Denver Nuggets, we know the world revolves around the two-time MVP in Nikola Jokic. But they needed some firepower. I don't got no problem with them bringing in Russell Westbrook.

What's the worst that can happen? They have now lost Kentavious Caldwell Pope. They have lost Reggie Jackson, even though they didn't really ever want to play him. Before that, I told you about Bruce Brown.

I told you about old man Jeff Green. Jokic needs help. If there's one thing that Russell Westbrook is going to be for the most part, he is going to be durable. He's going to show up to work. He's going to be available. He's going to run around like a madman. But one thing Russell Westbrook is also going to do is shoot terribly from the field. This is your point guard. I don't know what's happened from the beginning of his career to now.

It's all in between his ears. Russell Westbrook hasn't shot 70% from the free throw line in about 45 years. This past season from downtown, Russell Westbrook only connected on 27% of his threes.

I don't know. Maybe he doesn't get the same type of lift anymore. That shouldn't affect the free throw. Russell Westbrook has never been a shooter.

He's been a volume scorer, but he ain't never been a shooter. I could just see him cut into the basket right now. Cut into the basket. Jokic is on the court with him. Cut to the basket. No harm, no foul for a guy who's probably going to play for about three million dollars.

But this is the part that sucks. My apologies to all the Nugget fans. It's still July. They're going to need more than this.

I'm sorry. They're going to need more depth. This is not enough.

I can tell you one thing that they need that already exists on the roster. His name is Michael Porter Jr. You cannot, I repeat, you cannot have a guy on your basketball team making maximum money and I don't care how high the salary cap is going up. You can't have a guy on your team making 200 plus million dollars and all he can go out there and do is give you 17 points and seven rebounds. Sorry. That ain't gonna cut it. Michael Porter Jr. gets paid too much money to stand around and shoot threes.

I get it. Nikola Jokic is a once in a lifetime player. Seven foot guard.

Like, where did they do this at? The man almost drops a 30 10 and 10. Forget Russell Westbrook's triple double. Jokic's triple doubles actually win.

They won him a championship. But Jokic needs help. This man is 29 years old.

29 years old. He's in the prime of his career. He can shoot. He can score. He can go down into the post.

The only thing he does not do is jump. Even playing defense, he's underrated because he doesn't block shots, but he certainly is smart enough to hold his spot and he understands angles. It's not just all about blocks and steals. This is a good move.

Low risk, high reward. The Nuggets need points and certainly Westbrook is going to have some games where he goes out there and he gets it. But as an overall, do I think the Nuggets is just jumping back into contention because they added Russell Westbrook?

Uh, no, I don't think so. I think the Denver Nuggets, they stand to just be, be good. Maybe they'll win another round in the postseason like they did this year.

Hi Lakers. And then maybe they'll get smacked down again by a team like, I don't know, the Minnesota Timberwolves. The West is good. OKC is going to be good.

And they look like they got better with Hartenstein. Minnesota is going to be good. Dallas is going to be good. I guess if the Phoenix Suns can actually stay healthy and bring some guys off the street, they'll be good. They'll be good. Sacramento, they bring in DeRose and they'll be good. The Los Angeles Lakers will be good. Memphis. Is Zack Eady going to be Rookie of the Year? Vegas thinks so.

All seven foot four of them. Memphis should be good. The Spurs will improve. Houston will improve and the Denver Nuggets, well damn it, since they won that championship, they got worse.

This is the bad part of anybody's career. When they start wearing every uniform possible. Over the past several seasons since leaving OKC in 2019, Russell Westbrook has been on the Rockets, the Wizards, the Lakers, the Clippers, the Nuggets, and I'm sure there will be one or two more teams before he hangs them up. By the time we get to November of this year, the 2017 NBA MVP will be 36 years old. Russell Westbrook ain't gonna play forever folks.

God bless him. At least he's on the Nuggets with an MVP, a guy who's triple doubles. Well, they actually won them games. Good luck, no harm, but the Nuggets got a lot of work to do between now and February and the reality is they got no money. That's the cost of winning.

You can't pay everybody. That's why everybody good, worth a damn, is gone. It's the JR Sportbreeze Show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. We are just getting started. We are just getting warmed up. We're going to talk some Texas football. We're going to get into Kaitlyn Clark and her amazing 19 assist game. We're going to talk about this man, Tiger Woods.

He's not not doing too good at the the open right now. We got so much to discuss. We got Matt Moore coming to talk later on about these Nuggets. Lawrence Taylor unfortunately is in the news. People are still talking about Tua and his contract.

We got a lot here. On the other side of the break, Jordan Dajani is going to join us to talk some football. He's from CBS Sports.

You, you're locked into the JR Sportbreeze Show on the Infinity Sports Network. That's 855-212-4227. Right before the break, we talked about Russell Westbrook. This man, his career is about to, well, sound bad.

He's closer to the end than he is to the beginning. He's going to be 36 years old in a few months. He's being treated from the Clippers to the Jazz. He will ultimately be released from the Jazz. He will join the Denver Nuggets, where he will be a decent piece to add, but it ain't solving them.

It's not getting them back to a championship, and they have a difficult road to do that, having lost so much talent over the past two off-seasons and being cash strapped. Come on, Michael Porter Jr. Show up and do that. And I also told you before the break that Jordan Dejani is going to join us to talk some football from CBS Sports. Well, damn it, we got to wait a little while longer.

He will be here in an hour from now. My bad. I mean, Hickey, I made a mistake. I'm a human being.

What is wrong with me? You are human, not a robot. Good job, Michael. I'm not a robot. I'm not a robot. I'm not a robot. I'm not a human being.

What is wrong with me? You are human, not a robot. Good to confirm. I'm not a robot. I'm not breathing fire. No, robots don't breathe fire. Whatever... Dragons breathe fire. So you're not a dragon either, which is good. I'm not a dragon. I'm not a robot. I'm just a human. Just JR. I just JR. I bleed. I cry. You know, I like a beer every now and then or two.

I'm just a human being. Hickey, before we get into Bronny James and then talk about the Texans and all of this stuff. How the hell you feel about Russell Westbrook in this nugget jersey? I feel very similar to how you feel where it's a big name, but is it actually moving the needle?

No. Like this is a guy that we've seen his playing style. He can't really shoot the ball.

So he's really outside of the three foot, you know, arc area under the basket. He's really mean, you know, useless on offense for the most part. And it really stinks because I like Russell Westbrook. Like I think he means well. He plays the game really hard.

I think he has, for the most part, the right intentions. But the biggest reason why he's not won a championship and the biggest reason why I don't think he's going to be the difference maker for the Nuggets this season is he plays his own style, right? He plays the Russell Westbrook style of basketball and that style does not lend itself to a team game and does not lend itself to winning. And I feel like at this point, it would be insane for me to think that he is going to put that away and just do whatever it takes to help the team. I mean every stop he's been, you listed them before, it's 15 teams and counting. If you want to count the Jazz as, you know, the two second stop he's been there for. It's like Carmelo when Carmelo was here in Atlanta.

Right. Quite the collection of jerseys he will have displayed. I hope the Jazz do give him one before they do end up cutting him. But like he's not changed, who he is. He's been the same guy starring in OKC and everywhere else he's gone, he's been the same guy. It's not changing and so it stinks because I would like to see him get a championship but like how hard he plays. But I don't see this being a differentiating move for the Nuggets. And yeah, you're right.

Outside of the Stars, their depth is a big time question mark. Have you ever seen that? It's I guess I can call it a collage of Shaquille O'Neal jerseys at the end of his career.

Oh, I have not. No, he looks like he was like a rainbow. You know, they they had it was a collage of all the teams that Shaq played for at the end. And it was Cavs, Celtics, Celtics, Heat, Cavaliers.

Yeah, I guess you're right. So when you start thinking about it, yeah, you start thinking about those colors. You got you got blue, purple and gold, black and red, orange and purple. What are the Cavs? What a wine and gold. That's what they call it, right?

If I don't say wine and gold, people get mad at me. I would say maroon and maroon and yellow. Boston is obviously green. And Shaq just looked like he looked like the United Nations. He's like his career looked like a rainbow. And this is we've reached that point now with Russell Westbrook, like everybody looked at the numbers, everybody looked at the stats. Nobody can deny he's been one of the most explosive players that the NBA has ever seen.

He's one of the most dynamic players the NBA has ever seen. But when it came down to winning, like his style did not did not get there, didn't go. It was like the best chance that we would have saw of him winning a championship was when he had James Harden and Durant.

And they were just they were just too young. I think if you had that combination and they were older and Oklahoma City could afford to keep all of them, I think we would have seen something different. And we saw Durant leave. And I think we know why Kevin Durant left. Well, we saw where he went. The Golden State Warriors.

And the grass was greener. You look at Russell Westbrook in the style of play. And God bless Kevin Durant. He gets a lot of crap all the time.

Social media usage, what he says, what he doesn't say, his subtweets, fake burner accounts, everything. Kevin Durant. Until they had to play against each other, and even then, they're just this trash talk on the court. Kevin Durant, I give him credit for never, ever saying a cross or bad word about Russell Westbrook and his playing style. And Kevin Durant had so many opportunities all the time to just go, I don't know why he's shooting that shot. I can't stand him.

He needs to know how to pass the ball. Doesn't he know I'm the best shooter on the team? Doesn't he know I'm the best player on the team? Kevin Durant never said anything. He just left.

I can't blame him. Good luck to Russell Westbrook. Hickey, how many more teams for Russell Westbrook before it's quitting time?

You got them on, I got them on, hmm. I got them on two more teams, I think. Two more. Now, do you count, like, are we going to technically say he was a part of the Jazz, or you're not going to count?

No. I think two. I was going to say three, like with one of those, you know, kind of stopping points in between for like two minutes. Two sounds about right. He might be traded.

So here's the thing. He's likely going to sign a one year contract with the Nuggets for the veteran's minimum. That's going to take him through the rest of this year into, you know, February at minimum or November. I can't imagine them moving him before then. And so maybe they move him at February. Boom, that automatically puts him on another team.

And you would think unless he is just, well, the reality is his career could end as this could be his last year. Let's be real. Absolutely. I mean, yeah, thirty five. You're right.

This could be thirty six. You're right. He's shown no signs of slowing down, at least in terms of the energy he brings. So maybe that's shooting sucks, though. It had.

Yes, it had. But at least the in terms of the juice he brings, the intensity, that's that wave right at all. So he's like the energy bunny out there is now still maybe that keeps, you know, in his mind, at least keeps him playing for a few more years. But at what at what point in time for a guy who is?

Well, let's think about it this way. By the time around the time the season starts, he's going to be thirty six years old. Next year, if he still wants to play, he will be about thirty seven. His birthday is a month after the season starts. He's going to be thirty seven next year.

He's going to have to look for a new team next summer. Even if he does another ten, five, I don't know. He's not going to have five assists. Why would he? I mean, he's not going to be passing the ball around. I expect his assists to drop if he's playing with Jokic. Maybe his points will go up. Does he get another one year deal?

I think that'd be the only way. I don't know. For years, it has looked like we were going to get to the end of Russell Westbrook and that it was just going to go and go. At what point does he just go, I've had enough of this. It's just time for me to leave. I'm going to leave on my own. That day might come sooner than later.

But this man has had a Hall of Fame career. Hopefully he doesn't go out. Looking sad, and that's kind of what it looks like right now. 8-5-5, 2-1-2, 42-27.

That's 8-5-5, 2-1-2, 42-27. We're going to take a break. Russell Westbrook, this man is at the end of his career. One of Russell Westbrook's former teammates.

His son, he's starting his career. His name is Bronny James. And after about three or four games and 16 shots, Bronny James finally hit a three.

I think I could have done that by accident. Look at me, an NBA summer league player. We'll talk about Bronny on the other side, get into some Texans football, talk about Kaitlyn Clark.

She can shoot threes, but she doesn't want to. I'll explain. Doors take us to summers away or winter adventures and afternoon getaways. That's 855-212-4227. We talked about Westbrook. That man is closer to the end than he is to the beginning. Let's talk about a man who hasn't played a single regular season snap in the NBA. Well, not snap. That'd be the NFL. You know what the hell I mean.

A minute. It's Bronny James. And Bronny James, if you've been paying attention, he has not been good in NBA summer league action. He's been pretty bad until yesterday. It's taken him 16 threes to finally make one yesterday. He also had 12 points on five of 11 shooting. He was two of five from deep. Yeah, he made two threes. He almost made half of his threes yesterday. Lakers beat the Hawks 87 86. Who cares what the score is?

Doesn't matter. But this is better than anything else Bronny James has done. Think about his past output. First game, four points. Knee was swelling the next game.

Three points, eight points, two points a couple of days ago. And then yesterday, he has the best game of summer league. Now, you shouldn't look too deeply into summer league action to be an indicator of what someone is going to do in the regular season. But when you're Bronny James, when you're the son of LeBron, when you got drafted because you're the son of LeBron, people want to see some things. They gave this man a $7 million guaranteed contract. We don't even know if he's going to be a full-time NBA player. Jalen Brown, who just won NBA finals MVP, sat courtside and watched Bronny James and proclaimed that this man is not a pro and that he's probably going to be with the Lakers because of his last name. He didn't debunk any of that. He then went on social media and said, I think he's going to develop because of the resources that he has.

Well, no blank. He's in the NBA because of the relationships that he's had, namely his father. It's it. And so Bronny, after the game on ESPN, he was asked, why the hell did you have a good game when you've been so trash? You know, just trying to forget about all the shots I missed, forget about all the games we lost. I just come out, you know, play my game and try to do my best every time I come on the court.

So that's what I did tonight and end up well. Yeah, just do your best, right? There's something a father tells his son when they're not good. Just do your best.

Maybe that's what the mother says. Bronny spoke to Vegas Sports today and he's still thinking about what the future holds. What is it going to be like to be on that team with your dad when he finishes with Team USA? It's a big step for both of us. Yeah, I feel like, you know, playing together, going to work together every day, just going to build on the relationship we already have. You know, build that connection, maybe it's not even stronger. But, you know, I'm excited to get to work with my dad.

What are you looking forward to the most? Going against each other in practice. Excuse me?

Piggy, what? He's gonna go against his dad is six foot ten. He is 6'1". Practice squad, right?

Isn't that, do they need some bodies? Yeah, a taller guy. JJ Riddick, maybe? Do you think, and I think the answer is yes. LeBron is in his backyard.

I don't know what basketball court. Do you think not? Of course, but probably not because it's his son. Maybe, maybe, I don't know. Do you think LeBron James has really quote unquote given him the business on the basketball court yet? Do you think that's actually happened? Great. The only way it would, I think, is if Bronny's running his mouth, calling his dad trash or whatever, or just trying to, you know, tell him that he's better.

Like, if he's poking the bear, I could see LeBron go, okay, fine. Let's play to seven and seven nothing in two months. Murder, murder, murder, murder, murder, murder. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Otherwise, I don't know what would possess him to do that.

Yeah. So we've heard that Bronny, even prior to being on the Lakers, it's LeBron's son. He's practiced at the facility before. He's been there. He's been there with LeBron. And I'm sure that, of course, they've played basketball against each other.

But I think it's a completely different atmosphere for them to legitimately practice. Like training camp comes and Bronny is out there making seven million dollars. LeBron James, he's going to go easy on his son in practice. Like, for first of all, there's not a reason in hell outside of move.

I got my dad. There's no reason for Bronny to look at LeBron and just go, I'm going to defend him unless it's a switch. And if LeBron James sees Bronny on him, there's a six foot one guard in front of me.

I'm a cook him. Like LeBron doesn't even have to back him down. He can just shoot straight over the guy. And so that is absolutely hilarious to me that Bronny James is just like, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm looking forward to, you know, practicing against my dad.

What? LeBron will smoke that guy. Good luck to Bronny James. We don't know how this is going to go. We don't know how he's going to develop. In a few years, he might be replacing Patrick Beverly in Israel.

I don't know. Or if you're LeBron's kid and it doesn't work out for the Lakers, why are you going to Israel for? Your dad is a billionaire. If Bronny James decided tomorrow not to work, I think Bronny James would be OK. I think he would eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven. That's eight five five two one two forty two twenty seven.

You know, speaking. Speaking of OK. Hickey, we were we were going off the air last night. When Kaitlyn Clark, well, her season ended, the first half of her season ended in a loss, unfortunately for Kaitlyn Clark. Her team, the Fever, go down to the Dallas Wings one on one to ninety three. Kaitlyn Clark had twenty four points. A WNBA record, not a rookie record, a WNBA record, 19 assists. She was two of nine from downtown. But she still had twenty four twenty four and nineteen.

That is ridiculous. The Fever are eleven and fifteen. This team started off like hot garbage to begin the year at like eleven games in two weeks. They started the season off at one and eight. They're in playoff position. They're looking good. And Kaitlyn Clark should be playing in the All-Star game this upcoming weekend against Team USA. I hope she lights that ass up.

But Aliyah Boston, her running mate and Kaitlyn Clark, this is what they had to say about the 19 assists game, the record 19 assists, even though they lost. She's going to say it means nothing. But I think it's pretty cool. I think that's pretty cool.

So sorry. I mean, I mean, I just think I do like I just try to set my teammates up for success. I think at times like I can almost overpass and that can maybe I don't know. There probably could have been a few times where instead of passing that leads to turn out turnover that I might have, I can probably shoot the ball.

But especially with AB, like I'm just looking to set her up so much like my eyes are always on our post players, whether that's lists or whether that's AB or whoever's in the game at the time at the time and then kind of look out from there. OK. We also got another bit of news. Hickey, I don't know if this is like payback or what, which would have you. Did you hear that Kaitlyn Clark declined to participate in the three point contest? I did not see the reason why she's not. I did not know that she was the one who said thanks for no thanks.

Interesting. Both Kaitlyn Clark and Sabrina UNESCO, who's you know, she's going to be on the Olympic team. They're not so the three point contest for the WNBA is tomorrow is there's no Kaitlyn Clark. She she said no. I don't I don't know, maybe this is like the guy saying no to the dunk contest or maybe this is her way of just saying. I don't know, y'all don't respect me, so I'm just not going to do it.

I don't know. Maybe she wants to take a break and just play in the game. I think Kaitlyn Clark has earned enough right now to do what she wants to do, because she's done everything and she hasn't bothered anybody. So it would be cool to see her in it. And from Sabrina UNESCO, she was just shooting threes against Steph Curry. What does she have to prove, you know? Sabrina, I'm with you.

I get 100 percent, like you said last year. That stage was awesome. And yeah, I guess I get it with Kaitlyn Clark too. Like it would have been cool. I think the three-point contest, like it's still, it would have been fun to see, but it's not the marquee event I think in any All-Star game. And if there's like a slam dunk contest, it'd be different now that she's dunking the ball, but if she was. So yeah, like that, I'm with you, doesn't really to me, like I think it's that big of a deal. Get a little bit of rest for sure for her. And look, if there is maybe a little bit of spite of, you know, kind of screw you guys a little bit. You know, this is you want me to, you know, use me for viewership or not can happen for, you know, the the skills contest, your loss. Good for her if that's part of the case.

I don't know if it is. She doesn't seem like the vindictive type, but Kaitlyn. Yeah, it seems like she's just like enough with the attention for now. Maybe as she I'd be shocked if at some point over a career she doesn't participate in a three-point contest, but she has been bandied about. Her name has been thrown into everything. Maybe she's just like, let let somebody else do it.

OK, and the other person, the other people. These aren't and I get it is still the WNBA, but these aren't these are like household names. Who are the household names in the WNBA? It's Kaitlyn Clark, Angel Reese, Brittany Greiner. Asia Wilson. She's she's gotten it.

Anybody? Diana Taurasi, maybe. Yeah. Sabrina, I would say is a household name.

I would think most general people would have heard of Sabrina. You know, I don't think so, man. No. Well, you tell me if any of these folks are household names. You ready? OK.

These are the participants in the three-point contest. John Quayle Jones of the Liberty household name. No. Stephanie Dolson of the Mystics. No. Alicia Gray of the Atlanta Dream. No. Marina Mabry of the Connecticut Sun.

This is traded. No. Yeah, that's right.

Kayla McBride from Minnesota. No. Well, there you have it. Is there a reason to watch the three-point contest? The answer is no. So they got these skills competitions tomorrow. And Hickey, I'll be right.

Well, listen, Phoenix. So what time does it start? Like 9 Eastern or something like that? Probably you would think, right?

Somewhere around there. I'll be watching as long as I'm here in the studio. No, not after you leave. You're not going to start your Friday night. When I leave here, I am not going to be turning on a three-point contest to see who's this. Stephanie Dolson of the Mystics. Sorry, Stephanie.

No disrespect, but no, no, not. Now, if you told me Kate Hickey, it's real simple. If Kaitlyn Clark was in a three-point contest, me and a bunch of other people will be looking for it, but she's not. She's not. I think she deserves a little bit of a break. She will be in action. In addition to a Sabrina UNESCO on Saturday as a team WNBA takes on Team USA. Sabrina UNESCO is on Team USA. Kaitlyn Clark is on Team WNBA.

Also, speaking of Diana Taurasi. The Phoenix, what was Hickey, what's the Phoenix? Do you know the name of the Phoenix team? They're not the Suns. That's the man. I think it's the Mercury.

Yes. Phoenix Mercury. The Phoenix Mercury. They have a new practice facility. They have named two courts after Diana Taurasi. They didn't waste time. They didn't wait for her to retire. They didn't wait for her to go away.

They named two courts after her right out of the gate. Do you like that in general? We've seen about coaches.

Do you like the idea of naming something after a player or a coach that is still there? I think you can wait. Do we got to kiss that much ass? You can wait. Like, wait until she's done. Like, wait.

That's it. Can we wait? Can we? I guess not. I know one thing about that court. You think Kaitlyn Clark is welcome to ever practice on that court?

Probably not, right? Not as long as Diana's probably playing in the league, I would guess. Diana Taurasi is, she's hilarious. She was also quoted more recently as saying that Team USA, the women, they have a, they got a lot to prove in the coming Olympics. And I have to say, what? They got to prove, like, prove what? Team USA still has a lot to prove in Paris. Okay. I guess, I don't know.

Maybe I've missed something. Maybe they won't win gold this year by a million points. Good luck to Team USA basketball. Good luck to Bronny James. Good luck to Kaitlyn Clark. Good luck to Russell Westbrook.

Yeah. Good luck to him too. Russell Westbrook, the newest member, soon to be newest member of the Denver Nuggets. I don't see it working out, but what can I say? It's the JR sport re-show here with you on the infinity sports network. We're going to take a break. When we come back, we're going to talk football. We're going to get into the Texans. Everybody's talking about the bears in a hall of fame game. Well, the Houston Texans are going to be in action as well. They actually want a playoff game. They have expectations. We'll get into them on the other side.

It's the JR sport re-show, the infinity sports network. Look around. What do you see? Cars? Lots of them. And guess what? They're probably on auto trader.
