The new two-part documentary, Trump's Front Row Joes, is the first inside look at Trump's diehard fans. The Front Row Joes are incredible people. Camping out for days to be in the front row at every Trump rally to support their hero. The kind of basis for all the rallies. There's like dead fans.

Trump's Front Row Joes, from executive producer Sean Spicer. You had to love Mr. Donald Trump. Trump's Front Row Joes. Watch it now.

Go to satelnow.com. satelnow.com. Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's us, that's right. I love this American ride.

Todd Starks. Oh, yeah. And welcome to Big Boy Radio. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program.

We don't have any cheat sheets here. We don't have any photographs of reporters we're going to call on. No, we just wing it. As a matter of fact, ladies and gentlemen, we don't even require you to submit your questions in advance to come on the Todd Stearns Radio Program. You know why?

Because that's how we roll. Wow. Welcome to the show. Happy to have you with us. Of course, today is Open Line Friday, and I love this day of the week.

You never know what people are going to talk about, but you can talk about it today. I want you to write down our telephone number, 901-260-5926. Again, that's 901-260-5926, and we'll be taking your calls throughout the program. All right. Did you watch it last night?

Oh, it was great. Geez, where do we start?

So this is going to sound really bad, and I don't necessarily mean for it to sound bad, but I was trying to come to terms with what we were watching last night. At some point, it just became tedious, right? When he took like 10 questions and ended up just rambling on.

Now, I will, wow, this is just going to sound bad, and I don't want it to sound bad. I don't want to be accused of poking fun of the elderly. But have you ever been at, say, it's Thanksgiving, right? And there's that moment, everybody shows up, and the turkey's not quite ready yet, so you sit around, and you're the one that has to sit next to Great-Grandmother Marge, Great-Grandma Marge. And Great-Grandma Marge, she's on up there in age, on up there in years, and she's sitting there on the couch, and you've been assigned the task to keep her company, right?

So you're sitting there, and you're listening to Great-Grandma Marge, and she's going on and on and on and on. and you find yourself just, and I think it's human nature, every now and then you're zoning grandma out, right, because she's just droning on.

Well, back in the 19th century when I was born, we used to have to churn our own butter, if you know what I mean. And she literally means they had to churn their butter. There's nothing untoward about that. But it's that kind of stuff, right? It just goes on.

And so you just find yourself zoning out. And then what you do is you just smile and nod every few minutes like you're paying attention, right? Anybody know what I'm talking about here? Because that's exactly what was happening last night. I'm just like, I have no idea what this guy is saying.

Don't know, don't care. what is going on here it was look it was bad but here's the thing it was not bad enough that biden is going to be forced out just yet and this is all bad news for democrats i think it's great news for republicans uh biden is still in the race he's not going anywhere and at this point they can't do anything about it and by they i mean barack hussein obama and mrs bill clinton because there's a brand new report out today that they are the ones working behind the scenes to make Joe go away.

Now, I'm just going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction because all of my predictions have so far come true. Everything that we are seeing unfold right now, we told you about several years ago, and especially when it came to the media, that there would be a moment when somebody picks up the phone and says, get Joe. And that's what's happened here. This is not by some random coincidence that all of the media is now focusing their fire on Joe Biden. And by the way, Trump is just loving it.

He's just he's hanging out, pounding out a couple of tro social things. And he's out on the golf course. He's having a good time. He's living his best life.

So anyway, this is my new prediction. I suspect we're about to find out who that cocaine belongs to. Remember the cocaine they found in the White House? I think we're about to find out whose cocaine that was. You just watch and see.

Because if they can't convince Joe to do the right thing for the party and leave, then they will destroy this man and they will destroy his family. That's how the Democrats are. Not only that, Joe Biden is just a very bad human being. He and the Biden family crime syndicate are just very bad people. And they've been nasty.

I mean, that's just who they are. That's their nature. I know he's an old man, but the reality is even when he wasn't an old man, he was still nasty.

So anyway, I'm curious to get your thoughts about the speech. Do you believe that Biden is in it to win it? I don't even think Biden knows that he's in it to win it. 901-260-5926. I want to start off the day in South Carolina.

Jane is hanging out with us and wants to weigh in on President Biden's speech last night. Hi, Jane. What's on your mind?

Okay. All I see is, wow. There is a congressman in Georgia, a representative, who thinks that he has Louis body dementia. He is a physician. Yes, that would be Congressman McCormick.

I'm sorry, yes. Yeah, good friend of the program. But you're right. Yes, absolutely. Yes, ma'am.

It's time to pass the torch. He's done. Biden is done. Jane, you were watching that. Did you have any emotions watching that press conference last night?

Just shaking my head, mostly. Because it's like this is, you know, I get really aggravated. It's really Jill Biden. I mean, basically, she's taken over the campaign trail. I mean, you know, you're parading your husband like a fool now.

It's almost like questionable elder abuse. Yeah, I'm with you there, and I just don't see love. I do not see love in that relationship. No, no, I see power. That's exactly what I see with her, you know.

I mean, it's just so sad because, you know, he's showing the muscle rigidity, stiffness. He's got that shuffling walk, frozen stance. And these are all symptoms of Lewy body dementia.

Now, will it come from Parkinson's? It could, or it could be another type. But the thing is here is, you know, Congress needs to subpoena his position.

so you got a parkinson's doctor who visited the white house eight times and you know he said he doesn't have parkinson so why were you there eight times it's a great point and and we're going to be talking uh tonight i'm hosting the seven o'clock hour eastern on newsmax we're going to be talking with dr manny sethe from vanderbilt a medical center and he's going to give us the lowdown on what he thinks is really going on here to your point jane uh they're not being honest with us and i still don't think they're being honest with us and we got to get to the bottom of it uh the question now is how far are the democrats willing to go to get rid of joe because right now jane it's really not about joe biden these these uh folks in congress the senators the representatives they see the polling data and they know what's about to happen. They're about to get their butts handed to them. And this is all hands on deck, and it's every man for himself right now. That's what's happening within the Democrat Party. Yeah, exactly.

All right, Jane, appreciate that call. Thank you. And wow, Jane was ready to go right out of the gate today. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

Biden also said something else last night, and this did not get a lot of play. We've got all the audio. We're going to be playing it all. But there was a moment when Joe Biden let slip that something was not quite right in the White House. Cut number three.

I'm following the advice of my commander in chief, the chief of staff of the military, as well as the secretary of defense and our intelligence people.

Okay, he said that he was following the advice of, quote, my commander-in-chief.

Well, Joe, you're the commander-in-chief. That's your job.

So whose advice is he following? Would that be Barack Hussein Obama? Could it be Jill Biden?

Now, there's a lot of bad blood between the Bidens and the Obamas, and they're cordial in public, and there is a relationship there. But all of this goes back to 2016 when Joe wanted to run for the White House back in 2016. And it was Barack Obama who pretty much strong armed Biden not to run.

Now, there was a lot going on. I think the son, Beau Biden, had just died of a brain cancer. There was a lot of grief. There was a lot of agony. and Biden felt like it was he had some sort of a it was like he was on a crusade that he was on some sort of a a righteous quest and he believed that he was supposed to run for the White House in 2016 and Obama stepped in said Joe it's not your time don't do this and it was really ugly and jill biden apparently took this very hard and she to this day blamed blamed obama for joe not running in 2016 so again it's jill biden really driving a lot of this she is a power mad woman and she is a very unpleasant person as well um all right 901-260-5926 is our telephone number that's 901-260-5926 biden heading to michigan for a campaign rally this evening also we're going to be paying close attention to kjp she'll be doing um a briefing and we're going to play some of this crazy some of my craziest moments from yesterday's press conference coming up next you might have heard mike lindella by pillow no longer have the support of their box stores or shopping channels the way they used to they've been part of the cancel culture so they want to pass the savings directly to you by having a $25 extravaganza.

So let's start there. Number one. All right. Okay. Yeah, Biden was having a rough go of it yesterday, calling Kamala Harris Trump, calling Zelensky Putin.

The guys lost it. And by the way, what was going on with the coughing? Did anybody else notice that? It was just nonstop coughing. And at one point, I thought, I'm just waiting.

Jeez, Lou, I really don't want to confess that I'm thinking this, but I think everybody else is thinking it too. How many of you guys were watching the press conference just to see Biden keel over? I mean, not that you want him to die, but just keel over. yes dylan i know that's what keel over means but that i don't mean it in the i do mean it in the literal sense but i mean that's what we do right i mean that's why people watch him climbing the stairs or climbing off of air force one they they want to see what's going to happen so it's a terrible thing but it's true and honestly there was a moment there last night when the guy's just coughing and hacking and i thought oh wow there he goes but um he didn't which is good i mean you know we we don't wish ill on anybody but jeez lou like give him a recola or something take a swig of nyquil or dayquil uh 901-260-5926 we're gonna get to the calls in just a second i I was at an event early this morning, and this was over at the VFW Hall, the Veterans of Foreign War, over in Collierville, Tennessee. They really have a pretty awesome VFW group over there, and they're doing a Get Out the Vote series.

So they're bringing in folks to speak, and today Senator Marsha Blackburn was supposed to be there, and she came down with something. She was sick, and it's terrible because she has a lot of events this weekend in our part of the country. And so anyway, but they had like over 100 and some odd people that were stuffed into the VFW hall this morning at 7 o'clock for free coffee, donuts, and to hear from Senator Blackburn. But they had another guy fill in. His name is Bob Hendry.

We'll try to get Bob on the show. I like this guy. He's a Marine veteran, cattle rancher, a businessman. He and his wife have seven kids, and he's a good patriot. But anyway, he did a terrific job just standing in the gap.

And so props to the VFW, Justin Johnson heads up that effort, and it was great. But here's the point I want to get to. I was talking to a bunch of folks, and these are all diehard Republicans, and I was really surprised at the number of people who are very upset at Republican Party leadership and this party platform. People are really upset about that. And I've been hearing the reports from all over the country that there are others that are just as upset.

I was just sort of surprised to hear that coming from Memphis and this part of Tennessee. But people are really upset about it, Christians especially. And there are now pastors that are saying they're going to be very vocal about their opposition to the changes in the party platform. You say, what changes to the party platform?

Well, we talked about it earlier in the week. We had Tony Perkins on, and Tony Perkins is leading this charge. But the culture war issues were basically stripped out of the party platform with regard to the pro-life movement, to marriage, and there were a few other things. And people are really riled up about it. Look, I'm pretty riled up about it as well, but I'm also pretty practical about things.

And I'm telling you, we'd be better off with.

So let's just hypothetically here. Hypothetically. All right. I don't want people going out saying Todd Starrs calls the Republicans godless heathens. I would rather have godless heathens with that platform than the godless heathens who really are godless heathens.

That's my point I'm trying to make. I'm not calling anybody a godless heathen, except for the Democrats, and they are.

So that being said, I'm pretty pragmatic about these things. And yeah, it was very disappointing. Quite frankly, they treated the Christians like crap. And I say shame on shame on them. Shame on RNC leadership for doing that.

But basically, and I hate to break this to you, Christians, but if you heard the interview we did yesterday with the chairman of the log cabin Republicans, you people are being replaced by the gays in the Republican Party. I know that's going to be a shock for a lot of people, but you heard it yesterday in that interview. If you were listening closely, by the way, what Melania Trump hosting four fundraisers for the for the log cabin Republicans, how many has she held for any evangelical Christian causes?

So I'm just saying. The Christians are losing power within the Republican Party, and that's a painful thing. But the question is, where are you going to go and what are you going to do? And as the RNC leadership told the Christians, you people need to shut up and vote the way we tell you to vote. And that's what they did when it came to the platform.

You may not like it, but that's the reality of it. That's what they call politics.

So I'm hoping everybody can get over it and move forward. But I don't know. I don't know.

Someone asked me, is Caitlyn Jenner speaking? I got this this morning at the thing.

Somebody asked me at the gathering today, is it true that Caitlyn Jenner is speaking at the convention? convention i don't think so the amber rose chick uh the one uh the founder of slut walk is is is keynoting but i haven't heard anything about caitlin jenner i would be very surprised if that happened of course i was very surprised that we have someone who wrote a book about how to be a better b word is going to be keynoting but what do i know i'm just an old fogey todd they're trying to reach the young people all right we got some freaky deaky young people coming up in the republican ranks all right we're coming to the phones bill in north carolina bill in colorado we have any other bills out there we'll take your calls 901-260-5926 that's 901-260-5926 it's open line friday america Did you know that oil, coal, and natural gas are not the climate villains that the legacy media asks us to believe that they are? Did you know that 8 billion people will eat just today because fossil fuels ran the sophisticated machinery that produced all the food necessary to do so? Or how they power the complex heating and cooling systems to keep people alive through extreme temperatures? What would you do without AC or heat?

Fossil fuels have literally been the hero in the prevention of billions of deaths and the extension of life. I'm Calvin McCullough, and I want you to know the facts. Please go to oilfacts.com and get educated today on these critical facts, the need for American energy, and what we can do to keep billions more catastrophic deaths from happening. Alright, so the RNC kicks off next week in Milwaukee, and President Trump looks like he's going to be naming his VP at the RNC.

So that's not much of a surprise. And look, whoever is giving President Trump counsel here is doing so very wisely, because right now the entire news cycle has to be Joe Biden. It just has to be.

So if Trump were to come out, say, this afternoon and announce his VP, well, you know what? That's going to consume the news cycle through the Sunday shows.

So Trump and the team are just playing this so brilliantly, just backing off and letting the Democrats slaughter each other. And it is a bloodbath over there. By the way, this news just coming in that $90 million in donations now being withheld from Joe Biden, $90 million. That's huge.

Meanwhile, President Trump says he's got about four or five people that he is looking at. Won't say who, but some of the names we're hearing, and I'm very curious to hear from you on this. Any of these names make you smile? Is there somebody that you would like for President Trump to consider? the names that are being talked about are Doug Burgum, the governor of North Dakota, Marco Rubio, J.D.

Vance, Tim Scott, a couple of others we're hearing. And these are pretty interesting choices. One would be Glenn Youngkin, the governor of Virginia, and also Mike Pompeo out of Kansas. Of course, Pompeo, former Secretary of State, and Pompeo, military veteran. He has got a great, great record when it comes to service and serving our country.

Pompeo would be a great pick, a great pick.

So curious to hear your thoughts on that. 901-260-5926. Again, those are the names that are being batted about right now. do those names any of those names make you smile and say yeah i could i could see that working again 901-260-5926 let's go to gwendolyn in north carolina hi gwendolyn what's on your mind today well what's on my mind it's not about who's going to be vice president what it is if last night I listened to the whole terrible thing, and one of the newscasters asked Biden that he had quoted that he was going to recruit younger people in the Democrat Party.

Well, you know you heard that. I did. What we're trying to do, but he said they didn't have enough experience. I don't know if that's exactly what he said, but it was something like that. Yeah, absolutely, Gwendolyn.

I did hear that, and that was his argument, is he didn't realize how bad things were, and so he felt like he was the only guy that could get us out of this trouble we're in. But what he didn't understand was the country was doing just fine. He completely annihilated the country with his policies.

Well, we want the young people in the Republican Party, and we want to give freedom good, logical, intelligent information. Yes, we do. And this is one of the reasons why we support Young America's Foundation, Gwendolyn, is that they're raising up that next generation of Reagan-style conservatives and Republicans. But we've got to do a better job of reaching out to the young people. I mean, when you look at the Democrat Party, they do a good job of it.

We've got to do a better job.

So I appreciate your time. I do want to say one thing is that I'm a senior and I have low vision, no TV, no none of that. And I don't think that the people I listen to your radio, I don't think people realize what a need there is to help us get good information. Gwendolyn, I'm with you. And that's why we do this program for folks just like you that listen to talk radio, get your news and information from us.

and when we share information on this program, you need to know that we've got a team of folks and we are working very hard to make sure that we're sharing good intel with you.

So God bless you, Gwendolyn. Give us a call back one of these days. You know, Gwendolyn's right. We've got to reach out to younger voters, and I'm just curious, how do we do that? How do we make the Republican Party attractive?

How do you make that message attractive to younger generation voters 901-260-5926 let's go to bill in north carolina listening to us on wsic wants to talk about alec baldwin all right bill what you got for us well with it being in the spotlight again this week it just got me to think and i hope the takeaway from that situation is is that i know they're trying to determine who's going to be held accountable and i think it's multiple people in that case, in my opinion. But the bigger takeaway from that situation is that the movie industry really needs to take a hard, long look at safety and protocols when it comes to handling gun safety and so forth and so on. Alec Baldwin is guilty in one aspect that he did not treat that gun as if it was loaded. He was just told that it was ready to go. Here it is.

he just went under an assumption and that's where he went wrong you don't ever assume anything even from an expert you don't assume and that's just my take so bill you know so let's bring people up to speed this was the uh the the movie rust it was being filmed what out of new mexico and they were filming a scene they handed baldwin a gun on the set and his job was to um was to look at the camera, point the gun in the direction of the camera and shoot. And when he did, there was a live round in there and it killed one person and and wounded another.

Now, I'm with you. I know a lot of people and Alec Baldwin's, you know, a pretty nasty guy. But the reality is I'm with you. I think that multiple people should be charged. But ultimately, it's Alec Baldwin's fault because he was the guy holding the gun.

And you should. And folks, just hear me on this. And if you ever listen to Gun Talk Radio, our good buddy Tom Gresham, he'll tell you, you've got to treat that every single gun. When you pick it up, you've got to treat it like it's a loaded weapon. Exactly right.

That's just 101 information, gun safety. I mean, that's everybody. And if you're scared of guns or you're against guns or you're afraid of guns, whatever, however way you want to look at it, then leave them alone. That's it. And Alec Baldwin is guilty, in my opinion.

But is he guilty for murder? Maybe that's questionable. Is he guilty for killing someone? Yeah, there's a difference. There is a difference.

I think if somebody murders someone, that meant that they were set out to do that intentionally, like first degree. Oh, yeah. But, Bill, he's actually charged with involuntary manslaughter.

So, I mean, they're going to get him on that because it's true. The question is going to fall to gross negligence. And the way the prosecution is framing this, they're saying that there's plenty of video that shows Alec Baldwin was being reckless with the weapon on more than one occasion. He was walking around the set with his hand on the trigger.

So if that the case then I think they may be able to get him on that But the other issue is this and the defense is going to play this card They going to say well wait a second You had a person on that set who was responsible for maintaining the gun safety and making sure that the guns were not loaded. And that guy actually said that they use a phrase called cold. It's a cold gun, meaning there's nothing in the chamber. and so but again it doesn't matter because you're as a if you've been to any nra gun course you know treat every single gun as a loaded weapon so it's it's on him but i think others are going to have to face you know pay the price as well bill you're exactly right and ai is really popular right now and and they ought to throw that into the moving industry um you you can make things and uh look like and sound like the real thing and it not be the real thing at all maybe they need to take a hard look at that wow oh oh you mean ai guns and not actors sorry right i mean sound effects visual effects everything you know use a plastic toy gun for example and make it look like and sound like a real gun that you know and it won't be shooting bullets or anything like that at all you know i'm just saying just putting that out there you know safety and protocol i love it bill it's wise words my friend appreciate you calling in thanks for listening uh let's go to beautiful north georgia kelly hanging out with us on wdun that's bill main territory great morning show there hi kelly how are you i'm good how are you kelly i'm doing well thank you by the way kelly i have to tell this kelly you're gonna find no interest in this but um a lady came up to me oh one of our commissioners came up to me amber mills commissioner mills came up to me and i'm always looking for good good homegrown tomatoes kelly gotta make my tomato sandwich sometime this summer and anyway she's uh she got me some tomatoes wasn't that very kind that is kind and they make really good ones here well good look nothing nothing better than a fresh fresh tomato in the summertime some bunny bread or sunbeam and a little blue plate mayonnaise. That's right.

All right, Kelly, what do you want to talk about? I want to tell you that I was waiting up for the Trump rally to come on in Florida. And here you talk about my news back. And I was like, oh, my God, Rick, it's hot on news back. But I had to turn you off because I had a bunch of Trump rallies.

So I want to know, are you on news back? Wait, you turn me off? What? Yes, I was so disappointed. I even tried to find a way to take you face of the episode, but I couldn't do it.

I had to watch Tom.

So, Kelly, and again, folks, we have no idea. This is Open Line Friday, so we didn't plant Kelly to ask this question. But to answer your question, they're trying to find a new host for the 8 o'clock hour Eastern, and they've got me in the rotation. Tonight, I'm actually going to be hosting at 7 o'clock. Rob Schmidt is out, so they asked me to fill in for Rob.

So, yeah, who knows, Kelly? I may end up being on primetime on Newsmax. But, no, I was not saying it because my actual reason for calling in was about the vice presidency. I feel like we've got a lot of really good female conservatives. And I'm wondering why Sarah Huckabee Sanders isn't in the running.

She would be my first choice for BP, and then my second choice is Ken Scott. You know, I like Sarah a lot, and I think she's done a good job of governing the state of Arkansas. She's in her first term in office. I don't know.

I know a lot of her people in her circle, and I'm not hearing much, but I think that if she had her preference, she would like to serve another term as governor, and then explore, you know, what comes next. You know, she's still pretty young. She's got a young family as well. And, you know, she's getting a lot of great experience as the executive of a state right now. Correct.

Correct. Yeah, she's great. And I think she'd make a great president. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, first president of the United States. Yes.

I love it. Female. I think that'd be great. And, of course, Mike Huckabee, you know, he'd be in the White House, too, if nothing else to visit. But I like both of those suggestions.

Kelly, thank you so much for calling in. All right, we've got to take a quick break. It is open line Friday. Our telephone number is 901-260-5926. Again, that number, 901-260-5926.

Is there something? It's called Hinge Date. What is a hinge date? Anybody know what a hinge date is? It's a really popular dating app.

Oh, it's an app. It's an app.

Okay, is that what you were talking about this morning on the morning? I briefly caught a conversation about how people are dating here in the 21st century. Yeah. Tinder, hinge, bumble. But you told me, or you said on air, Ben, that really dating people back in the day, he said the boomers, as you called them, they used to go dating at bars to pick up dates.

Is that right? Yeah. So it's called IRL. Do you know what that stands for? IRL.

International Relations? No. In real life.

So boomers used to do the IRL. What does IRL mean in real life, though? In real life, you meet people face to face. Oh, that's what it stands for, in real life, IRL. Oh, I see.

Okay. I got it.

So anyway, there's this guy. This is on the New York Post, and this is fascinating. And by the way, before I get to this, what about church? That's where you should go, and if you want to find the next, you know, your spouse, you should go to church. I think one of our listeners told us this morning that they met on Craigslist.

Wait, what? i didn't ask a follow-up but is craigslist still a thing wow i had no idea you don't want to go down that dark hole so this guy um took his hinge date um to a uh they wanted to go he wanted to go out like to have like a quick lunch just like the first date and so then so they he he was thinking like Panera and she suggested a hibachi restaurant which is a little pricey but the guy said okay I can do that so he shows up and it turns out that she brought a friend so she brought a girlfriend along no yeah this is terrible so the guy's name is Johnny America he's like he's a tick tocker and so so we thought that was kind of weird but still so anyway they um they start to order he noticed they started to order a lot of drinks and then they ordered appetizers and then they got to the meal and he was like dude i'll just have the chicken and rice and so then the girls order surf and turf so he's he's sitting there and he's realizing wait a second this is not good something's not right here and so anyway when it came time to pay the bill they the guy the waiter comes over in the hibachi restaurant and says all right how do i split this up and one of the the date she said one check and so then the guy excused he said he said hey do me a favor and then box up my food i gotta go to the bathroom and he just kept on walking and left them with the with the uh wow wow that's brilliant joke on them right well he said those girls think i'm stupid i'm not he's he figured it out and some people are thinking that they're running a scam you know that they do that a lot but it is fascinating i didn't realize what hinge was so that's like a dating app that people use yeah it's i guess it was designed for the female brain so i guess tinder is more i guess so you can't make up your mind is that what it you're gonna get in trouble i'm just asking i I mean, what does that mean? No, it's very preferential heavy.

So you could literally on the hinge profile, it will ask you your faith, your religion, your political views. Are you a Planned Parenthood activist? It's very nitty gritty.

Well, it does seem to me that that dating has changed in the 21st century where it used to be where you would go to church or you would go to a bar or you would go to an event and just randomly meet somebody. And now it's all about what swiping right. Is that right? Jeez, interesting. All right.

Oh, is Christian Mingle still a thing? That's not Craigslist. It's kind of weird. All right. 901-260-5926.

Welcome to the Todd Starnes Radio Program. Happy to have you with us today.

so joe biden is still in it to win it meanwhile donors have frozen around 90 million dollars and they will not release that money to the biden campaign um until he decides to pull out of the race there are many democrats and we are really by the hour we're getting reports of democrats now calling for joe biden to step aside so last night's press conference really did nothing to allay the fears of the democrat leadership however cnn interviewed a voter panel they were all old white women and to a person they loved joe cut number seven the two of you weren't decided my question for you you weren't decided before this happened if he should stay in the race how do you feel now after watching this news conference relieved and i think he should stay in so your opinion has changed uh i'm not sure to he should stay yes okay and how about you how do you feel you weren't sure how do you feel now same i think he's the logical choice well you know what i do too if you feel that way ma'am i completely agree with you uh let's go to the patriot mobile newsmaker line say hello to our good friend from south carolina congressman ralph norman congressman happy to have you with us today well great to be with you todd thank you yeah look i mean if uh if the base of the democrat party think joe should be the standard bearer i say have had it absolutely the convention is starts august 19th he's their man they chose him and let's let it play out i mean The fact is, Todd, America's had a front row seat to this for the last, really, two years, where he couldn't find his way off the stage. He couldn't read a teleprompter. We've seen that. And the debate, I think, the media just waking up, really, that they all had the same talking points. Then where have they been?

And the reason they're calling, and I think this was planned, I think the fact they waited this long was they wanted to let somebody else come in because of one thing, poll numbers. I'm sorry, the country is suffering under Joe Biden. Another term with him. And, you know, as I watched some of the debate, and I didn't even bother to watch the interview yesterday. But, you know, as you watch him, what would you have this man do?

The leader of the free world has got the nuclear code. What would you have Joe Biden do? Would you let him operate on you if he were a surgeon? Would you let him fly a plane if you were flying? Would you let's take it down a notch?

Would you let him balance your books? Or would you let him drive a school bus with your grandchildren? No. The man's incompetent. And the fact, the sad part about it, that people, those two ladies, either don't know what's going on in the country or don't care or a combination.

But, no, let's play it out. We've got, you know, the fact that the replacement, the giggler in chief, Kamala Harris, no. She may not be cognitively deficient as Joe Biden, but still she can't make decisions that help the country. And so let's let Joe Biden play out. Let's let the American people pick.

And if they pick Joe Biden to go back in, that's the end of our republic as we know it. Congressman, I want to play some audio here. This is from Democrat Jim Clyburn from your state. And he was, I don't think the Democrats are used to this level of pushback from the media. And it's really causing them to, I think they're sort of off kilter here just a bit.

Cut 14, please. Is this the same Joe Biden that we saw two years ago?

Well, look, I grew up. Is it the same Joe Biden? No. So there you go. That's from Jim Clyburn, one of his allies.

Well, I like Jim, but, you know, he's putting, you know, I guess he's putting his allegiance to the man he put in the White House. But look at the damage. And I had a time I had a Democrat that I was friends with. I said, name me 10 things this president has done well that you think really you could go out and make a stump speech on. Total crickets.

Didn't say a word. I said, okay, name me five. total crickets i said well name me one that is america better off from a safety standpoint from uh the price of gas the supplies he could name it but it's purely political and you know the fact that the democrats are still defending them doesn't surprise me because they put their own self-interest above the interest of america and that's sad so congressman i want to see how this plays out so if let's just say if joe biden decides to step aside and just completely resign from office uh kamala would become president the vice president that pick would actually go through the house is that right correct have to have a two-thirds majority super majority in the house to put forth a name but you know who would that be i mean kamala harris is bad enough i mean and that's the great thing about president trump i was just on another radio show and i said you You know, the great part about his pick, it'll be a tremendous upgrade to what the vice president is now. But, yeah, but I don't know how they're going to get him out. I mean, his wife, that's a travesty in and of itself.

What wife would let a husband go through the ridicule that this man either knows or doesn't know that he's going through? But, yeah, to go through the house and, you know, that would be a war in and of itself. But look at the timing. November 5th is, what, three months away? You know, in all practical cases, what's the rush now?

Let's stay with the man that they picked that's got the money and let them try to package him up in winning messes, which I don't think they can do. It's really just the intrigue here is just jaw-dropping and these bombshells coming out every single day. I said in the first hour, I think we're about to find out whose cocaine that was because people are just dropping all the secrets. It's there. They're really pulling out all the stops to try to get him out.

But I'm with you. I don't think that he's going anywhere. Knowing knowing that, Congressman, how is it looking out there? And what are you hearing from your constituents about about President Trump and that VP pick?

Well, first of all, they're excited about President Trump. The great news about the 20 points that he mentioned, the deportation, the energy independence, the global security, the military, all of that. The good news about Donald Trump, he's done it. Look at the four years when he was president from 16 on, and look at the last three and a half years. And again, what good has come out of this administration?

There has been none.

So people are excited. And the vice president pick, you know, I would like to see Nikki Haley. But pick anybody. Tim Scott would be a great pick. Burgum would be a good pick.

rubio anybody will be a tremendous upgrade which i'm excited about and the fact that he will make the right choice donald trump's timing uh is will be great and he picks the right time to do it and i think um p i think whoever he picks the people will be excited so next week uh the rnc in milwaukee um are you happy with the platform i know there are a lot of evangelicals still sporting over the way the pro-life was moved out, as well as the language about traditional marriage. Are people going to rally around Donald Trump? Oh, absolutely. The people are going to rally because it's going to get worse before it gets better, if you can believe that. I mean, we're in a tremendous risk with an inept president who the world leaders see, the 15 million that are in this country.

If we don't have an attack, it will be a miracle before then. But no, they're going to rally behind the man that has delivered everything he said. And, you know, the alternatives and four more years under Biden, let's say they're able to move him out and get him somehow to to to to relinquish the presidency. The pick would be no better.

So, yes, I think America sees what's at stake. And again, as I said, Todd, we lose our republic if another four years under this insanity that's going on. All right. Well, Congressman, we're going to leave it there. Always good hearing from you and safe travels to Milwaukee.

Thank you for what you're doing. See you. All right. There you go. Congressman Ralph Norman from South Carolina and, of course, the RNC coming up next week.

And we'll be bringing you wall to wall coverage of what happens there. I think the big news coming out of Milwaukee is going to be the vice presidential pick. And you heard Congressman Norman say he believes it ought to be Nikki Haley. Of course, Congressman Norman actually endorsed Nikki Haley during the presidential primary.

Now, Haley has released all of her delegates. She is not expected to be at the convention. She is not expected to speak at the convention. But she did the right thing, and she released her delegates to support President Trump.

So, again, very curious on this open line Friday. And whatever you want to talk about, we talk about today. Curious to hear your thoughts on who you think the VP should be. Who would make you smile? 901-260-5926 is our number.

That's 901-260-5926. There is a crazy story out of Springfield, Ohio.

Now, this is a small community. I believe, well, it's not that small. It's about 60,000 people. Springfield, Ohio. And they are dealing with a massive, massive problem.

So the Biden administration is relocating a lot of illegals to smaller towns and communities across the country. And this is from Senator J.D. Vance. It turns out they're sending as many as 10,000 Haitians to that community. And it's really causing a strain on this town.

As a matter of fact, reading here from the Springfield News Sun, the mayor there says they have about 10,000 Haitian immigrants. They've had about a 20% increase over the last three to five years. and the city is really beginning to struggle because they can't care for all of these illegals. They say with the current immigration policy, it's affecting cities like our city. We're trying to make sure that we're doing it right as city leaders and bringing light to this.

These populations are taxing our schools, our health care system, and we just want to make sure it's right.

Now, for example, the local health center funded by tax dollars has seen a growth in infant visits from about 300 newborn appointments to 600. And a third of those are from non-English speaking families.

So not only are you having to hire more doctors and nurses, now you're having to hire language experts. The city school system is seeing about 40 new students a week, 40 new students a week. That's about $11,000 per student to educate.

So you're looking at a total of $22 million. And they're saying, and this is a big problem, Senator J.D. Vance raising this issue. And I want to share this with you from Senator J.D. Vance's website.

a letter for the record from the city of Springfield in our state, which I think highlights a very real example of this concern, straight from the horse's mouth itself. Springfield has seen a surge in population through immigration that has significantly impacted our ability as a community to produce enough housing opportunities for all. Springfield's Haitian population has increased 15,000 to 20,000 over the last four years in a community of just under 60,000 residents. Could you imagine? He says these people are not able, the whole city is about to go belly up.

They're trying to build 5,000 new housing units, which is a Herculean task in a town of about 55,000 people, but it's also about the hospitals and it's also about the schools. I'm curious, is Springfield the only small community out there that's dealing with this kind of problem. I mean, I've noticed even in Memphis and in the suburbs an increase in the number of people just wandering the streets. It's very strange, very odd. Got to take a break.

901-260-5926. Open line Friday. This is the Todd Stern Show. They're Trump's most diehard fans in the front row at every Trump rally. You had to love the United States of America.

you had to support Mr. Donald Trump's re-election. Trump's Front Row Joe's is the new two-part documentary offering the first inside look at the men and women standing shoulder to shoulder with Trump in the greatest political movement in American history. The kind of basis for all the rallies. There's like dead fans.

Trump, Joe Joe! Like-minded people following their hero all around the country, exhausting their bank accounts, camping out for days in the freezing cold and scorching heat to support Trump's re-election and make America great again. The Front Row Joes are very successful, incredible people. Trump's Front Row Joes. From executive producer Sean Spicer, former White House press secretary and communications director for President Donald J.

Trump. Friendships I've made over the years as a Front Row Joe, it's probably the best part of it. Don't miss Trump's Front Row Joes. Watch it now. Go to SalemNow.com.

SalemNow.com. I've said before, Russia will not prevail in this war. Ukraine will prevail in this war. And we'll stand with them every single step of the way. That's what the compact says, loudly and clearly.

And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin. President Putin. He's going to beat President Putin. President Linsky.

i'm so focused on beating putin we got to worry about it anyway mr president you are a hell of a better oh geez all right uh welcome back that's uh president biden yesterday showing his cognitive and mental acuity uh let's go to the phones 901-260-5926 fred in north carolina hi fred what's on your mind hey good afternoon i have a quick question about illegal immigration i noticed i heard your thing about a springfield ohio are they under any federal date that they have to provide all that stuff can't they just say you're on your own we don't have the money we can't take you if You're not a U.S. citizen in schools and medicine and health care and anything.

Well, the short answer is yes, they have that ability. And what they ought to do is just when they drop them And the problem is that the Biden administration they just dropping these people off And when you talking about a town of about 55 to 60 people they're not going to have the resources to know in advance that something like this is going to happen.

So, yeah, they do have the right to say, no, we don't want these people, but they're not even giving them an option, Fred. They're just dumping the people in these communities. I understand that, Todd, and I know that it sounds cruel and heartless and everything else, and maybe it is. But it's also totally unfair to 50 or 60,000 people who live there to be forced to pay for someone that isn't doing anything. It's just like it's a welfare state, and if they're here illegally, they should receive zero benefit from anybody.

I completely agree. And Fred, I know it does not sound cruel because it's not. These people are taking away much needed resources from law abiding American citizens. That's that's it. They've got to go back to where they came from.

And we're going to have to play that level of hardball. But there's nothing there's nothing wrong. There's nothing on Christian about it. And there's nothing immoral. we have a right to put american citizens first yes i agree yeah i'm with you on that yes ship them all back fred that's honest to goodness and and when you look at the party platform those are the that's one of the top things is to is to seal that border and round all these people up and fred i will be raging about this if we don't if we don't have massive round roundups of these people.

They got to go. They've got to go. Yep, I agree. All right, Fred. Appreciate your patriotic and constitutional support of our great land.

Well, God bless America, Fred, and likewise. And again, folks, you can call it whatever you want to call it, replacement theory or whatever, but the reality is when you're dumping 10,000 to 20,000 illegals into a community of, what, 55,000 folks how do you think that's going to play out at the end of the day and by the way if it's happening in Springfield Ohio population 55 to 60,000 you better believe they're going to be dumping the illegals in your community what are you going to do when that happens America 901-260-5926 that's 901-260-5926 it's open line Friday on the Todd Stern Show all right welcome back to the todd stern's radio show happy to have you with us 901-260-5926 and look my policy on immigration is harsh and there's a reason why because every single penny that we spend taking care of an illegal is a penny that is not used taking care of an american citizen. We have a lot of homeless veterans on our streets. We have a lot of veterans that are not able to get health care. And one of the reasons why is because some of our VA medical centers are now tending to the needs of the illegals.

And I get it.

Some of you said, well, Todd, that doesn't sound very Christian of you.

Well, I want you to think about this for a moment. Those illegals, if they want to have food, if they want to have a job, if they want to get a treatment for a boo-boo, then they can go back to their home country to do that. There's no need for them to come to our country and to use up resources that are meant for American children. My opinion on this was framed by an incident that occurred in Texas near San Antonio during the Obama administration. And I was actually driven down.

There were dumping thousands of children at the border. And, you know, we got to take care of the kids. but they were putting the kids up in these beautiful military barracks giving them three hot meals a day brand new clothing tennis shoes games education health care everything those kids wanted they were getting just outside of the gates there were trailer parks filled with american kids and they didn't have a pot to pee in so you're telling me we're going to take care the children of the illegal aliens we're not going to take care of american kids i got a problem with that big problem all right uh let's go to the phones here robert in north carolina wants to weigh in on the vice president hey robert what you got for us hey todd uh plenty of things on my mind but the vp pick is the primary thing right now uh consider this if i'm needing surgery for a life-threatening issues. I want the best possible surgeon for that position. I don't care if it's a black lesbian woman or whatever.

I want the best. And I called in a couple months ago, and I recommended Mike Pompeo as my pick for the VP. And I would vote for him as president if he was running. But I think he is the best possibility. He's Christian.

He's very conservative. He's got military background he was secretary of state i mean you can't get much better credentials so he's my man i like mike pompeo and i think you would be a terrific president i think he did a great job as secretary of state he was loyal to to donald trump yeah robert i think this is a fine pick thank you very much all right robert appreciate that call 901-260-5926 that's 901-260-5926 let's go to maine lisa wlob hi lisa what's on your mind hi i i just was you know i was listening to your radio show and i was listening to talk about the illegals and you know the state of maine is rarely talked about in the news and we have a the state went red but we still have uh you know the in control in this state and janet mills is like so excited about creating a new america what do you think that means that mean this is the illegals this state is flooded with them it's grand central station across the street from where i live what do you think it means when she says that lisa the illegals the illegals is going to be the new america that's all the illegal and again and one of the other ways the democrats stay in power is that they make sure those people get registered to vote even though they're not allowed to vote and then they fill out the ballots and stuff the ballot boxes i mean it really is that simple i mean when the last time i went to vote i signed something stating that you know you have to show an id in order to vote but we all know how that's going to go in this state you know they're going to find a way it's just a nightmare in this state and i wish this state you know i keep asking president trump on true social come to maine come to maine you know uh but yeah it's a nightmare i mean i just feel like i live i don't even know what country i'm in there's so many illegals in this state um it's incredible and lisa i'm just curious um and and they seem to congregate you know they cluster so they they live in communities and i'm wondering what does that do to the communities we have so much so many homeless and you know it's not the minor it's not them that are homeless yeah you know what i mean i'm seeing all kinds of you know caucasian you know uh veterans uh you know oh my god like you can't even afford the rent but they all have places to live like i'm so furious you have no idea and i know i'm not the only one lisa i hear you and it angers me because there are people out there that truly believe well americans should suffer we should take care of the illegals it's just disgusting i mean i don't even know how people are feeding their children and these people come into the grocery store with their cards get as much food as they want and american children are going to bed hungry i'm sure and i'm just so furious i oh i see red it's it's okay just do me a favor lisa be sure to vote red this fall oh you bet you bet you bet And I pray every day, every day. All right, Lisa, thank you for listening to WLOB, great radio station. And give us a call back one of these days. Thank you for that.

901-260-5926. Let's go to Kent in Memphis, Tennessee, listening to us on KWAM. Hi, Kent. What's going on?

Well, I'm calling in reference to the VP pick. and I've been listening to some of the earlier callers. My pick has been Carson. And I think that we need somebody who's been loyal to Trump. And I would disagree with the earlier caller about Pompeo.

I don't think he's been – some of his comments and some of his inactions speak volumes about him. What inactions, Kent? you know, his position.

So, you know, in this case, it's him not being at the forefront when he certainly had a platform to do that if he wanted to.

So my opinion about Burgum, they mentioned that. I mean, I think that just the fact that Karl Rove is endorsing Burgum is right there a disqualifier. that would tell you that he is part of a deep state and um uh i can't a closet bushy there no no look that car can't that's a good point and that is a fair point uh if you see carl of endorsing somebody you better do your homework uh because that could be that could be a rhino a rhino lurking about in north dakota yeah i i think so all right ken we can't we got you down Ben Carson is your guy. He's the one. All right.

Good stuff. Kent, appreciate you calling in. 901-260-5926. Bill in North Carolina, WSJS, the great Winston-Salem radio station. Hi, Bill.

What's going on?

Well, Todd, I have a quick PSA for you. Oh, wow. A public service announcement. That's what that stands for. Bill, I'm all ears.

Today, and today only, you can buy one dozen fresh and hot Krispy Kreme donuts at regular price, but you can get your second dozen for $0.87 for the 87th anniversary this year. And that's today? Yes, sir. Wow, I had no idea.

So it's Krispy Kreme Day anniversary day. Wow, I had no idea.

Yeah. Well, I just thought maybe we needed a little sweetness in today.

So I want to provide that information to you and your followers. Bill, I tell you, I don't know about you, but when I see that red light, the red light coming on at the Krispy Kreme, the blinker comes on. I don't know how that – is that only my car that happens?

Well, you got – it's just like, remember Batman, when they would show the big bat vehicle up in the sky? Yes. It is hot and pretty hot, you know. I'm just minding my own business driving down the street. I see the red sign pop up, and all of a sudden the blinker's on.

I don't know how that happens.

Well, it does. Wow. You know, not to mention, I don't want to get off on a tangent, which we are on right now, Bill, but have you ever run the Krispy Kreme Challenge? Have you ever taken the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh? No, sir.

I have not. Unfortunately, I have a bad will. I can't do running now.

So this is a big deal. It's a two-and-a-half-mile road race, and you think, oh, that's a piece of cake. I can run two-and-a-half miles. But here's the thing. You run two-and-a-half miles, and it takes you directly to a Krispy Kreme donut shop.

You have to eat. You stop running, and you have to eat one dozen donuts, and then you have to run another two and a half miles back to the finish line and you have to do it under an hour. I don't know if I could do that. I don't think I could either, Todd. I would say this.

I suspect, Bill, that a lot of people on that run back are running a little bit faster. This is true. I'm just saying. Wow, I don't know how many people survive. All right, go ahead, Bill.

I'm so sorry. I'm just out here lollygagging now. No, no, sir. I just want to say thank you for taking the call, Todd. I just want to say God bless you for what you do and the information you're putting out here for us.

But can I just say one other thing about the poor people in Springfield, Ohio? Sure. Yes, you may. If they've got all this influx of people coming in, they should just get their own buses and then move these folks on over to a sanctuary city. it's going to be a whole lot cheaper on these smaller communities to these places that are supposed to be uh designed to accept these type of people and to be a place for them that's just my chances to work on that bill it's it's a great point and it's a point well taken and again we have got to secure our borders and we have to get these people out of the country we have to this is destabilizing every town, every community, and the crime that is happening in some of these major cities by these south of the border cartels and gangs, this is unacceptable that this is happening in America.

So I believe on this one issue, we got to play hardball. It's a zero tolerance. If you're here illegally, you go back. And if you want to come here, you can apply and you can get right to the back of the line, just like all the law-abiding people wanting to come to America are doing. Bill, appreciate that call, and thank you for the update on Krispy Kreme.

I had no idea they were celebrating a big anniversary today. But, Dylan, I've got to tell you something. I don't care how fast of a run. You know, Ben Dieter, he weighs like three pounds, and he runs all these road races. I guarantee you, Ben Dieter would not be able to do the Krispy Kreme challenge.

It's kind of ironic because I don't think those kind of people that run those races eat the donut. Do they have enough porta-potties? That's what I would be concerned about. I don't want to get too graphic. But if you're eating a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, that's not going to end well.

Where are the diapers? By the way, did you see, speaking of that, did you see this was the Nathan's hot dog eating contest, and then they had Nathan's lemonade drinking contest. Yes. Wow. That guy, the spewage.

So the guy, the poor guy, it was all coming back up. I guess he drank what a couple of gallons of lemonade it's like a gallon right a gallon of lemonade can you drink the gallon here's what I don't get a gallon went in but I think two gallons came out it was sweating lemonade oh my gosh I've actually seen that guy post videos of him doing that with like coke and like dr pepper and it just wouldn't stop no the crowd was just like oh oh oh they don't know whether it's here they were all horrified because it's super hot there i've had to cover that and it's one of the you would think it would be one of the most exciting things but after a while you realize you're miserable and it's just so hot and humid you're right there on coney island after like the 20th hot dog you're like well i don't know about this maybe we can maybe we can do a lemonade run run two and a half miles drink a gallon of lemonade right all up yum yum all right uh 901-260-5926 it's open line friday we're talking donuts vice presidency legals whatever you want to talk about we'll be right back all right folks seven o'clock eastern tonight i'll be filling in for rob schmidt on Newsmax. Hope you'll watch. And I'm just curious, what do you think about a Todd Stern show on the main Newsmax channel? It could be sort of fun.

We will see. But anyway, we're always having a lot of fun. And of course, my daily show, 5 o'clock Eastern on Newsmax 2, which you can watch for free on Facebook Live and also YouTube. But tonight, the main Newsmax channel, you'll be able to catch me filling in for Rob Schmidt. All right, let's go back to the phones here.

Open line Friday. Let's say hello to Ron in North Carolina.

Now, Ron, I understand you are an NRA instructor. Yes, I had my license until I let them receive because of age, and I was no longer doing any instructions, but I still know all the rules. The number one rule in NRA is never point a firearm at anything that you don't want to destroy. Period. That's it.

That's rule number one. Rule number one, two, is you do not load the firearm until you are ready to use it. Rule number Number three, you do not put your finger in the trigger well until you are ready to pull the trigger. And that idiot policeman on January the 6th was running around with his finger on the trigger, swinging his pistol around and everything like that. You can look at the video.

So you think Alec Baldwin should be found guilty of involuntary manslaughter? yes and that police officer should have been found guilty of the same yeah yeah no look i'm with you with a promotion but again you know when dealing with alec baldwin and i think the the the people that were responsible for handling that weapon making sure the weapon was safe to use i think all those people need to face some sort of a charge as well but ultimately the guns in your hand you're responsible for it and you put a gun in anybody's hand you should make sure they are trained if they are not trained you do not well let's say this my feeling is you do not put a firearm in their hand yeah and if someone hands me a firearm that i'm not familiar with yeah you do need to check make sure it's unloaded i do not change position i look at it and i hand it back because if I can't make sure it's unloaded I am not going to hold it in my hands very long well it's it's wise advice Ron and again you're a former NRA uh instructor and uh well well said and let's hope people pay heed to that I can't be messing around with stuff like that folks Ron God bless thank you for that call um let's see we'll try to get Clark on the other side of the news here. We are coming up on the top of the hour break. Again, today is Open Line Friday. Our telephone number, 901-260-5926.

That's 901-260-5926. Coming up, Trish Regan is going to drop by. Also, Serena Williams is in the news, and we're going to play some audio from last night's ESPY Awards. You know, they really do hate conservatives, and they hate Christians over at ESPN and we're going to play this audio. It's just, it's going to blow your mind.

So we'll get to more of that as well. Also, folks, just a reminder, get a copy of my brand new book. It's called Twilight's Last Gleaming. Can America Be Saved? The answer is yes.

And I show you how in my new book. It's available wherever you get your books. You can also get a copy at toddstearns.com. All right, hang tight, everybody. Hour three of the big show coming up next.

Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr.

Well, hello, everybody. Good to have you with us today. Welcome to the show. This is the Todd Sturridge Radio Show. It is open line Friday, which means you get to call in and talk about whatever you want to talk about.

And we have had some great calls today. 901-260-5926. Write down our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. 926.

I want to play some audio real quick before we go to our call. There's a bit of controversy at last night's ESPY Awards, ESPN, and it was broadcast on ABC last night, so a massive audience. Let me set the stage. You've got the Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, and a comedian, Quinta Brunson. And they're up there cracking jokes.

I think they made a racist joke about Caitlin Clark. Um, and then they went after Harrison Butker.

Now he's remember Harrison, Kansas city chiefs kicker. The guy's a devout, super devout Catholic. He's old school. And he pointed out during this graduation address, you might remember this a couple of months back, uh, Benedictine college. And, uh, he said, look, you know, there are a lot of ladies in this crowd that want to be, you know, stay at home moms.

They, you know, and, and he encouraged moms and dads. he encouraged the men and the women to consider embracing traditional gender roles. I think that's a terrific idea.

So anyway, here's what the gals had to say about that.

So go ahead and enjoy women's sports like you would any other sports because they are sports. Except you, Harrison Butker. We don't need you. At all. Like ever.

Yeah, we don't like you because you're just a man. You're just a Christian. We don't need you like ever.

Now, here's the irony here, and I love pointing this out. And I mean no disrespect to literally, I mean, no disrespect to the Williams sisters at all. Incredibly accomplished athletes, both of these ladies, and they deserve all of these accolades. I just don't get the crack here at Harrison Butker because the whole point of his speech to these Catholic kids, was, hey, look, young men, I want you to be faithful to your wife, and I want you to be good dads to your kids. And I think it's interesting because the father of Venus and Serena Williams has sired nine children by four different women.

That's a whole lot of baby daddies. I just ask you, would you have rather had a father who was faithful to one wife and raised those children? Or do you want a guy that's, you know, getting married, getting divorced, getting married, getting divorced, shacking up with somebody else, and having babies out of wedlock? I'm just pointing that out. Let's go to the phone lines here, 901-260-5926.

Clark in North Carolina, thank you for holding on through the break. Clark, what's on your mind?

Well, thank you for taking my call. I just got to thinking about the reason why Clyburn is so adamant that he is sticking with Biden. And when you stop and think about the people that are surrounding Biden and the loyalty that they engender, it's really rather phenomenal. The reason why I think he is sticking with Biden is because Kamala is going to be a disaster, and I think that he's concerned about the image that she is going to portray as a black woman. and I'm not saying this in a racial way or any other way.

I'm trying to be very factual about it. She cannot engender any loyalty around her. She's had 25 or 26 different people on her staff that have all left, and I quite frankly think that she's bad news from the black community. And that's what I was thinking. You know, Clark, it's a really interesting take you have on this, and I think there could be something to it.

I would say, though, that maybe on a broader scale, and we saw some of this with Barack Obama, not a lot but some. You know, a lot of people really felt like Michelle Obama was the true black person in that first family because Obama's mother was a white woman. And so they're truly looking for that first black president. Kamala Harris is not going to be that person either because when she was running, and we pointed this out yesterday, when she was running for the U.S. Senate, all of the Associated Press headlines, all the news headlines were, first, Indian American elected.

Now they're calling her a black American, but she's not. She's an Indian American.

So I think there could be something to that. We will see. But you're right. Not only is she not qualified, she's a nasty person. And we know that because, as you pointed out, all of the staffing issues that they've had there in the vice president's office it's a valid point well i i just thought i would uh i've been kicking it around for a while and the more i thought about it and the more clinton has become so adamant to keep a senile old man in office um it just I got to thinking that there's something fishy about the reason why he is so adamant about it.

And that's what I come up with. I concluded that it was because he was afraid that she might embarrass the black community. Could be. It could be, Clark. And again, there are plenty of black people in politics and business that would be perfect candidates on the Republican and Democrat side.

I just don't think she's I think she was a she was a quick fix to a big problem that Biden had and they didn't think it through. And it's coming back to bite him in the behind.

So, Clark, appreciate that call. I want to go back to an interview we had earlier this week. Our good buddy John Rich was on talking about a new project that comes out today. And I asked Ellen to pull that interview. I want us to go back and listen to John Rich as we talk about the new musical project called Revelation that launches today.

So I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Line. Always fun to have our good friend John Rich joining us. And we're going to talk about his incredible new project coming out, which is just jaw dropping. John, hope you're doing well today. Hey I doing well man Good to join you Look first of all I got to tell you I was reading some of your I a big follower of your your ex feed And man you are just you nailing it on what happening with Kamala Harris and the Democrats, Joe Biden.

And I think it's going to play out exactly how you say it's going to play out.

Well, no matter how it plays out, man, it's a mess, regardless. I mean, I think a lot of my friends who are not conservative you got to remember i'm in the entertainment world so a lot of my friends don't agree with me they're really upset that they had this great epiphany on the night of the debate that holy cow joe biden is in mental serious mental decline and that just goes to show you how how many lies they've been fed for how long so a lot of people are waking up to a lot of things right now in this country and that's a great point and a lot of people may not realize this but the vast majority of the country including a lot of folks who live you know i'm i'm based in memphis tennessee so a lot of folks who literally live in the country still get their news from abc nbc and cbs by and large and so i think a lot of people are finally waking up now and realizing holy cow you know this guy is just not there and i think it's eye-opening for a lot of people around the country john well it reminds me of that verse that says be sure your sins will find you out. That's it. You know what I mean? You can only cover it up for so long.

And, you know, I looked forward to 2024 for several years, hoping this would be the year where the American public finally got to learn the truth about a lot of different things, not just Joe Biden, but many things.

So I'm hoping this is just the first revealing moment of many to come between now the election you know i i'm with you a thousand percent um i was a couple of weeks ago i was speaking down in murray county uh tennessee south of nashville and i'm driving around the town square i'm like why does this look familiar i had not been to columbia and then i realized holy cow this is where alteen filmed his music video and then i was watching your music video which we're about to talk about and just some beautiful scenery and i didn't realize it was shot right here in tennessee yeah it was just shot just west of nashville uh in a little town called kingston springs tennessee found a about 150 year old country church and that's where we shot the video wow just a beautiful church and i want to talk about this song the name of the song is revelation and um i suspect many people who go to church uh know may know what you're talking about but tell us about the about the song well several months back you know i was reading had had the book opened reading it and you run across the verse in ephesians that says we wrestle not with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world and when we when we're always talking about trump and biden and left and right and all these things that we're preoccupied speaking about, the real battle is not that. The real battle is a spiritual battle that's going on in this country.

So when you read the book of Revelation, or you read Daniel, or you read Matthew 24, or you go to 2 Thessalonians 2, where Paul was talking about it, about end times, throughout history for thousands of years, preachers really did not know, nor did just regular folks reading. They really couldn't make sense of how a lot of the prophecies were even possible to come true. But with the furtherance of technology, for instance, things like the mark of the beast, how is it possible that every human on the earth would have to have the mark of this beast to be able to buy or sell? How could you keep your eyes on every human being on the planet?

Well, up until recently, that was impossible.

So with the advancements of technology, the way we see things going on in this world, I believe that all the things that have been prophesied about in the book of Revelation are now possible to happen. And that struck me really hard one day, and I picked up a guitar, and in about an hour, this song was written, Revelation. To my knowledge, there's never been another song written on this subject and definitely not put forward this way. And I know you've had a chance to see that video. I mean, the video portrays the devil coming through a portal in the woods of fire outside of this country church, and on the other side, Here comes Michael the archangel coming straight down from heaven, and they meet in the middle with me standing between them.

And to me, that is the real image of what we're actually looking at in the world today. John, your team sent this to me, and I didn't get any. They just said, watch this. And so I'm thinking, this beautiful little white country church. And I'm like, oh, this is going to be a – and then all of a sudden, holy crap.

John Rich, what is going on? I mean, it's just so powerful. and I just have to brag on the people that put this together because this is something that you would go to the movie theater and see. Yeah, it is beyond anything I've ever shot in a music video, but I'll tell you this. When I wrote the song, I don't even feel like I was not inspired to write it, meaning I didn't sit around thinking, you know what?

I ought to write a song about the book of Revelation. It never crossed my mind. But out of nowhere, and I'm sure you've had this experience and folks listening have had it, where God just literally slammed something into your mind. You can't get away from it. There it is.

That's what this song was. It was written in under an hour. I wrote it by myself in a quiet spot at my house. And I'm walking around my house listening to this little recording I just made. And I look up at the sky out the window and I said, what do you want me to do with this?

And he reached back out and the feeling I had was, John, take it as far as you can possibly take it. meaning the audio recording, the video, the way you talk about it, do not back up off of what this song is saying. And so that's what I did, and that's why it looks like that. That's why it sounds like that. And I really hope that this song has some serious impact.

It should give strength to save people. It should bring conviction to lost people, and it should scare the absolute hell out of the truly wicked people in this world. Amen. And you're so right. This really is, you know, what we're facing as a country is not a political problem.

We are dealing with spiritual warfare in this country right now. And I think even Ronald Reagan back in the 1960s when we were fighting the communists, you know, he framed it as good versus evil. And, you know, if we don't get back to the church, you know, I really fear for what's going to happen in this country. Yeah, I think America is not immune to God's wrath. I don't think any country ever has been.

And so as we see things unwind here in front of us, you really can't control those things. They're so big and so out of our control. The only thing you can really control is how tight you stick with God, how close you stay to his word and to him personally and ride this thing out. I remind people all the time, Noah was not raptured out of the flood. Noah was told to build a boat and he listened and he built it.

And he got mocked incessantly every single day. He was building that boat for a very long period of time. And then here comes the rain. And Noah and his family were saved. And I think that has been God's MO since the beginning.

You can find story after story about he tells his people what they need to do to get through the next level of things in this earth. And I believe that's where we are today.

Well, and where can people go? I know you've got your Rumble channel. Where do you want to direct people to watch the video?

So this video officially launches on Friday. And if you follow me on X at John Rich or you follow me on Truth at John Rich, if you go on there that morning, you'll see the link to the video on Rumble. You'll see how you can download the song or stream it. All the different channels for the song will be there. But I've got to tell you, I've written over 2,000 songs in my life, and I have never even remotely got anything close to what this song is or, in my opinion, how important this song is.

So I hope everybody puts it on their radar Friday morning. All right, so that was our interview with John Rich. We're going to play a little bit of that song when we come back. Again, it's called Revelation. It is out officially today on John's Rumble channel.

I want to encourage you to go and listen to it. Folks, this is one of those life-changing songs. It's a song that's really going to change your life. You've got to trust me on this. You've got to take a break.

We'll be right back. And welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Here's a little bit of the new song from John Rich called Revelation. Dancing in the flames, the people cursed his name. Bowed at the altar of the Father of lies.

There's a number to their days and all their evil ways. The Lord's gonna turn away from all their cries Oh, revelation I can feel it coming like the dark time running Oh, get ready Cause the key is coming The key is coming back again Brimstone upon their heads Millstones around their necks They'll feel the shaking when the trumpet sounds And no matter where they hide There'll be nowhere to run When Jesus puts his mighty foot on the ground Oh, Revelation I can feel it coming like a dark train running. Go get ready. Cause the King is coming. The King is coming back again.

all right welcome back everybody good to have you with us today and again don't forget you can get the new john rich song over at his rumble channel it's just incredible and if you missed our interview with john if you want to listen to the entire interview and the song uh just get our free podcast. We've actually isolated that conversation, so you'll be able to find it easily there on toddstarns.com on the podcast tab. Also tonight, 7 o'clock Eastern, I'll be filling in for Rob Schmidt over on Newsmax. My very special guest tonight, Dr. Ben Carson, he's going to be joining us talking about not only the RNC kicking off next week, but also this bit of breaking news coming out of the world of the RNC.

And I want to share this information with you real quick before we go to our next guest. But a coalition of conservative groups now rising up, and they are publicly calling out the Republican Party, and they are demanding that the GOP restore the Republican Party's pro-life platform. And there are a number of high-profile names on this list. Most importantly, the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, representing some 14 million Southern Baptists, and many of those people vote Republican, if not just about all of them.

So anyway, we'll keep you updated on that development. I warn you, folks, this was a lurking issue for the Republicans, and we've got to be playing it smart here. We've got to make sure everybody stays inside the big tent. All right. To the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line we go.

a great american patriot uh she has an incredible youtube channel uh also an incredible podcast she is the host of the trish regan show we're talking about trish regan hey trish how are you oh it's great to talk to you todd hello i hope you're doing well you sound rested have you been vacationing how have you spent your summer sweet no i'm actually about to go on vacation although we're still doing this show live from italy and then from ireland i got a big family reunion todd happening in Ireland just in the next week and a half or so.

So I'm going to be heading over there shortly, but I'm always happy to talk to you. Wow. You see, I like how you see you travel in style and it's classy. I love this. Me, I'm going to Dollywood.

So, you know, it's nothing wrong with Dollywood. Nothing wrong. That's right. I don't want to. My word.

All right. Trish. Wow. This Democrat Party, I'm loving all of this. I know it's horrible for the country, but you've got to love the Democrat-on-Democrat violence going down.

It's really strange. I mean, I think you and I have talked about this for years now, probably three and a half years. They should never have run him, ever, ever, ever, ever. They should have offered him whatever exit ramp was available so that he wouldn't actually be in this position or put the Democrat Party in this position right now. But, you know, they're not going to listen to us conservatives.

I've said it on the show for literally his entire presidency. He couldn't possibly run another term. But, Todd, he did.

Okay, so now what do you do?

Now what do you do? I cannot believe that they put themselves in this position because you're looking at either exercising the 25th. And, by the way, like, that doesn't go over well, right? Like, that's not going to any which way you slice this. people are going to say, wait a second, wait, isn't this exactly what you're accusing Trump of possibly doing?

Like trying to manipulate and control who's going to be in charge? Look, the American people, whether you like it or not, and I don't like it. I mean, I don't think he's a great candidate, period. I don't think it's good for the country. But they did, the Democrats, they elected him.

He is top of the ticket. How do you undo that unless he's willing because of whatever health reasons to say, I'm sorry, I'm out. he's not willing. He's made that abundantly clear. His wife has made that abundantly clear.

His son has made that abundantly clear.

So he's in it to win it. And anything that they do is just going to be perceived as really, really disastrous, frankly. And so I don't know how they get themselves out of this. I mean, we say, oh, yeah, we're loving it. I mean, it's bad for the country, but I'll tell you this.

It is fantastic news for Donald Trump. Absolutely fantastic. And Trish, can we just take a moment and applaud Donald Trump for how he has conducted himself over the past couple of weeks? He's been low key. He's been backing off and he's letting the Democrats do their deeds in public.

I just love it.

Well done, Mr. President. No, it's great. I mean, I will tell you that, you know, my viewership, I don't know about your viewership, they really sort of are very fascinated and very interested in the day-to-days of Donald Trump. And so he's been kind of out of the news cycle, which I agree with you, Todd, is fantastic for him, for the Republicans.

It's the right thing to do. In other words, I remember before this all went down, shortly after the debate, I mean, it was within hours of the debate, a friend said to me, well, do you think he's going to announce his VP? And I'm like, are you crazy? Why would anybody waste this news cycle? Ride it as far as you can because they're imploding in real time.

You don't need to announce your VP until it's time for you to kind of start generating the news again. But he doesn't need to because they're just, unfortunately for them, really killing themselves on the spot. You know what's fascinating? And we had Congressman Ralph Norman on earlier, and he said, look, they're not going to invoke the 25th Because, I mean, we're talking about a timeline here. And he said the new VP would have to go through the House of Representatives, two-thirds majority.

I don't think they're going to be able to get who they would want as VP, especially if it's somebody like Hillary. Oh, wow. I mean, that's really interesting. I love Congressman Norman. Look, I think that's a really good and really fascinating point.

They've got themselves in a really, really bad position, undoubtedly. and I mean you look at every poll right now and look polls have been wrong in the past so we can't put a ton of stock in that but typically traditionally Donald Trump has underperformed in polls and right now he's well you're looking pretty good right like any which way you slice this which is exactly Todd why they want to make a change like don't kid yourself I think they'd be perfectly fine with Joe Biden if he were in a coma so long as he was going to win but the reality is ever since the debate. And I do question, like, who was advising Joe Biden to do the debate in the first place?

Now, let me put my political strategist hat on for two seconds. If I'm a Democrat strategist, if I were on Biden's team, there's no way in you know what that I would ever, ever, ever advise Joe Biden to go on stage and do that debate in live time with Donald Trump. I just wouldn't have. And so somebody gave him some incredibly bad advice. They stuffed his head full of facts, apparently, for a week straight at Camp David.

And he was all messed up by the time he got on stage. I mean, just from a, you know, let's talk producer perspective, right? Like, you know, you and I, having come from the television world, like what television producer would take their talent away for seven days, fill them, you know, worth of facts, and then say, okay, get out there. And, you know, you compare and contrast that with Donald Trump, who talks to people every day on a regular basis, is out there doing these unscripted rallies, he's going to have it, you know, all day over Joe Biden in that retrospect, from the ability to sort of converse in that ad lib perspective.

So what I, you know, again, looking at what's about to happen next week, and you've got Obama, and at the reporting from the Times and Axios is true, Obama and Hillary are really trying to force Obama or Biden's hand behind the scenes. I'm with you. I don't think it's certainly not working. But watch what happens next week.

Now, typically, whenever you have a political convention, and I think the Republicans are going to have a terrific convention. I think they're going to come out of this and you will traditionally the party gets a bump in the polls. Trish, it's feasible. You could have Trump up by 10 to 20 points over Biden in some of these battleground states. after the convention.

I know. I mean, the fact that they're talking about New York is in play. I mean, God used to live in New York, right? Like, so did I at one point. Look, the fact that New York is in play, and I get upstate New York and the rest of New York is very, very different from New York City, but I think they're looking at a possible landslide, and that is why they're freaking out.

That's why they're willing to do anything to get rid of Biden. But what they didn't underestimate, and by the way, a very, very well-known, I'm going to leave him nameless because he kind of told me this in a commercial break and I'll consider it off record, but a very well-known Democrat strategist said to me, Trish, the guy is one mean SOB. Yeah. You know, excuse my French.

So anyway, he had the view, and this was years ago, that Biden took no prisoners and was a complete narcissist who was willing to sort of, you know, look, The guy's been 50 years in politics. You're not in politics without some reason for being there. And unfortunately, it tends to attract some narcissists, shall we say.

So I do suspect that Joe Biden and his wife, for that matter, are in it to win it. And they're not going to back down. There's some history there, right? 2015, when Obama told him not to run, he's looking at it saying, you let Hillary run and look what happened.

So he kind of feels like this is his moment. And also think about this, Todd. And anybody who's had a parent who has gone through a transition in life into that sort of elderly realm where things are more challenging, you know, it's like you're trying to take away the car keys. And the parent, the elderly parent who may be struggling and suffering in new ways, and it's horrible and it's sad, but I think a lot of us have been through it. And you're like, wait, no, you can't drive.

But the parent's like, no, no, no, I got the car keys, and I'm not letting go. Not letting go. And Joe Biden, he has the car keys to the world, let's be very honest. You think he's going to give those up? I mean, especially if what we think is going on is really going on in terms of the deterioration, most likely he's kind of doubling down.

He's digging in his heels even further.

So if he has the personality traits that my friend, this top Democrat strategist told me about, and you couple that with the possible medical difficulties he's facing, I do think, Todd, you know what? He's not going anywhere, and they've got themselves one giant problem. In fact, they're going to look back on this, and they're going to regret having been so vocal. And I suspect, I mean, you and I have come from the media world. We're in the media world.

We know how this stuff goes. I suspect there are folks like David Axelrod and Plot and Rhodes and the rest of them that kind of have an ear into CNN and have kind of launched this takedown, if you would. If the takedown doesn't work, nothing's going to work. It will be Donald Trump. Oh, no doubt about it.

Which is great. And I just think they may have underestimated the power of Joe Biden, ultimately. And it's going to be fun to watch, but I think they're stuck with the guy. Or the power of the incumbency. I mean, you cannot.

Listen, like, he's the president, right? You're going to try and take down the president? good luck great point all right trish we gotta we gotta leave it there real quick though i want you the media last night you know they first of all they said it was a big boy press conference but every single reporter was handpicked and the questions i thought the question the best questions actually came from the foreign press um how do you think our media how what's their grade in all of this scandal oh disaster i mean they are they are uh an f an absolute f for the media. They have been a disaster from the start of this presidency. It is a highly scripted presidency.

It is, you know, controlled by a various group of narrators. The president himself is not allowed to call on the reporters he might want to call on, if he can remember their names. He's, you know, he's scripted. They're scripted. It's all a facade.

And you know what, Todd, this comes back to bite them because when they look at the conservative media, and I've played the tapes over and over again on the Trish Regan show, and I've played all of it, right? The pool tapes that come in and, you know, unfortunately he's falling or he loses his way, or he goes off to talk to the parachuter. Listen, we're looking at this stuff in real time. And then they come back and try and tell us it's all a bunch of cheap fakes. And I'm like, cheap fakes.

I'm sorry, guys, this video is coming from you, right? This is the pool camera, not, not them necessarily, but you know, you know how the White House Correspondents Association works. You've got one pool camera. This is real stuff. And they want to try and massage it and manipulate it.

And And that's when you lose the trust of the American people. And when you lose the trust of the American people, I'm sorry, you're no better than Russia or China because you're becoming a state-controlled media. That's not who we are. That's it. All right, Trish, got to leave it there.

Safe travels and have a lot of fun. You're going to be over there for a while? Yeah, but we're still doing the show. I'll be live from Italy and I'll be live from Ireland. You know, it's fascinating everything that's going on there politically, too.

I mean, you think about Maloney and the conservative movement in Italy and go over to Ireland. And there's a real nationalist movement. I mean, they've made Irish the national language. They are struggling with immigration, much like we're struggling here. It's quite fascinating to see.

So we'll be reporting on some of that. And, yeah, I'll be live there every day. All right. Trish Regan, safe travels. Thank you.

All right. Great lady right there, Trish Regan. And, by the way, you can get her show. Just Google Trish. and of course we have a link to the trish regan show over on our live show blog all right hang tight we're going to take a quick break a break going to the phones 901-260-5926 this is the ton stern show all right let's get right to the phone lines here 901-260-5926 frank in ohio listening to us on 97.7 FM.

Hi, Frank. What's on your mind today?

Well, I heard the song right before the 2.30 break. It sounded great. That snippet you play of Revelations. Is that what it's called? It's called Revelation.

Yeah. Yeah. I heard the segment with the interview with him. He sounded like he was really on top of things, Todd. John Rich is a good guy.

He's, you know, first of all, great country music singer. Of course, big and rich. And the guy loves America. You know, he's one of those next-generation Charlie Daniels-type patriots. Yeah, it sounded real good.

I just wanted to chime in about who I think might be the pick, but I don't know about the vice presidential pick. I hope it's J.D. Vance from our home state of Ohio, but it could be anyone. I think it may be Marco Rubio or Tim Scott. What do you like about J.D.?

Has he been a good senator for you guys? Yes, he has. I don't know a whole lot about him, but what I've seen, you know, I just, you know, what I could see him out there in the media, whatever, it seems like he seems like he's on top of things. You know, it's interesting, Frank, a lot of people were wondering if Trump was going to, you know, if the beard was going to be a turnoff for Trump. Trump was asked about this earlier this week, and he said, no, he says, look, the guy looks like a little like Abraham Lincoln.

So there you go. Yes, he does. Yeah. Look, I know you're running out of time over there. Keep up.

Keep fighting the fight, Todd. Frank, thank you very much for that. And we will see, I suspect sometime next week, we will know who the ticket is finally going to be. It's going to be a great time in Milwaukee. And we're going to bring you some live and incredible coverage of what's happening.

Boots on the ground in Milwaukee. My boots will be on the ground in Memphis. But we're going to be bringing you a wall-to-wall coverage of all the things happening, not just on the radio show, but also on Newsmax. By the way, to that point, don't forget, 7 o'clock tonight Eastern, I'll be filling in for Rob Schmidt. Dr.

Ben Carson is going to be my very special guest.

So I hope you will join in and watch. And I got to tell you, every time they invite me on, you guys are flipping over to Newsmax. And I know that because the ratings have been off the charts.

So thank you so much for that. In the meantime, ladies and gentlemen, I want to remind you to head over to ToddStarns.com. We have so many great resources for you free of charge. Our newsletter comes out every afternoon after the show. You'll be able to read a number of our stories, and that is free.

It doesn't cost anything. All you have to do is sign up. We don't share your email with anybody else.

So I get that question a lot, but we are very careful about that information. And also, download our podcast. We are very excited about the growth of the podcast. You can listen to all three hours of the program. And again, it doesn't cost you a single penny.

We have sponsors that cover all the bills associated with both of those things. And look, a lot of people are asking for your money these days, and it's just hard to find money, right? Everybody's kind of scrimping and saving, and we want to make sure that you get our stuff free of charge.

Well, folks, that music means we've got to scoot out of here. It has been an incredible week. We're going to do it all over again next week. I want to thank our great team here on the program. You get out there.

Have a great Friday. And whatever you do, folks, be sure to go to church this weekend.
