Yes, that's the question for today. Do you like to wait? In the scriptures, the word wait means to hope, to anticipate, and to trust. Do you ever ask yourself, why is God making me wait so long? I've been praying and waiting, praying and waiting, and it just seems like God has forgotten me. It seems like my friends are always blessed.

They don't go to church, they don't pray, and they do bad things, but it seems like they are the first to get a new car, a new home, a better job. But I'm still waiting. Days turn to weeks, and weeks turn to months, and sometimes months turn to years. I'm waiting. Why, Lord, do I have to wait? How do I walk through this season of waiting? I just want to encourage someone today, if you've been praying and asking God over and over and over to do something for you, maybe to heal your body, heal your family member's body, change your situation. Wait, I say, on the Lord and be of good courage. He has not forgotten you.

He heard your cry the first time. Don't be discouraged. Know that God is always worth the wait.
