Jan Markell spends the hour with author David Fiorazo. No one can cancel God but the Left is trying. His representatives must be silenced as well. The Antichrist spirit of the age is on the move and demands submission. Why are some churches cooperating with this effort? Find Fiorazo’s book, Canceling Christianity, in our online store.

When the cancel culture deletes, erases, and cancels God, isn't that going too far? And they envision a very different country, a godless America most of us would not approve of.

Having hijacked every major institution, the left doesn't simply want unity, they demand submission. And we'll cancel those who oppose them, as we've seen. Welcome to Understanding the Times Radio with Jan Markell. Radio for the Remnant, brought to you by Olive Tree Ministries. Today, Jan spends the hour with author and broadcaster David Fiorazzo, as the cancel culture won't rest until it erases you and God. David hosts the popular podcast, Stand Up for the Truth.

We carry his newest book. Here is today's programming. The garbage that they are being fed 24-7 on the internet by their constituents, and we bought into this big lie. And the question is, how are we going to really almost deprogram these people who have signed up for the cult of Trump?

The Trumpist cult. And we have to be deprogrammed. Do you have any idea how we start that process, even much less complete it? I don't know.

I'm a journalist. I certainly don't know how we can stop people. I know how we can look to history, though. We have to start seriously addressing the question of how to deprogram nearly 75 million Trump ists. This is not a trivial matter.

This is not easy to do. I've said before, Trump will go, but the Trump ists will still be here. The Trump ism. And welcome to the program. I hope you appreciated that little clip of Katie Couric and company because they're very, very obsessed with deprogramming anyone who might be a Christian, might be a conservative, might even be just a patriot.

Did you know that is not allowed any longer now? We're going to go for an hour today. I'm going to ask you to bear with my voice.

It was either go ahead and do our programming or do a replay today. So you're going to have to put up with whatever has been running through my office and we'll make the best of it. We are carrying a new book by David Fierrazzo titled Canceling Christianity, how the left silences churches, dismantles the Constitution and divides our culture. Let me read a paragraph from this book, which is in my store, by the way.

The author says this since we dropped the ball and practically backed out of the public square over a half century ago. Here are some tragic repercussions. Truth has been redefined. God is mocked. Prayer and the Bible expelled from public school. God's laws from the public square. Sin is celebrated.

Pleasure exalted. Abortion legalized. We've seen the increase of adultery, divorce, homosexuality, promiscuity, Hollywood poisoning the minds of children, public schools pushing a progressive godless agenda, a lack of integrity in government, a generation now endorsing socialism, record high suicide rates among young people, radical feminism, witchcraft, legalized same sex marriage, government corruption, political gridlock, gender confusion, sexual anarchy, racial division, social justice, apostasy and riots in our cities paid for by power elites, globalists and those who hate America.

The author goes on to say, when we hold a true biblical worldview, we see one side that generally rejects God, family, morality, self-restraint and truth, but sees government as God. Again, we're carrying this book and I'll say more as we go through the program. So I welcome back the author David Fierrazzo. David, welcome back. Thank you for having me again, Jan.

It's a pleasure. Okay, David, I just read a lineup there of extremely horrific things that have come along in not just our country, but the Western world, certainly in the last 50 years and accelerating here in the last 20 years. And I think you agree with me that part of the problem is that our pulpits are somewhat silent. They're not addressing some of the major issues. I just read some of those major issues that came out of page 10 of your book. And then some of the pulpits are teaching gospel light and way too many are emphasizing as you bring out the social gospel and particularly since 2020, a year ago, it seems to be all the fault of people with light skin.

Talk to me about this. First of all, that was a condensed list. I know it seemed long. There's so much that has transpired in our nation and it goes back quite a few decades, if not 75 to 100 years. This is what's happening when the church backs out of culture and I'm generalizing because there's a good quarter of the church, maybe a third of the church that has been trying to fight these battles, but there's a lot of people that are not engaging in the battle. And the Johnson Amendment in 1954, that had something to do with the pastors being fearful about their 501c3, worrying about what to say.

They couldn't talk about politics. And we put that word in quotes because a modern understanding of that, when you talk about Christianity and what we can say is social or moral issues, right? But politics covers all these things and they're making abortion political, they're making same-sex marriage political, they're making gender political, now they're making race political. Just to really briefly go to, I think it's in Ezekiel chapter eight, just simply says, the soul who sins shall die. So when we talk about this idea of race and a whole white race, the problem can be systemic. We have to understand God looks at us as individuals. There's no such thing in his book as collective or universal salvation. And in our country, we're kind of going, well, it's all because of the white race.

Now, we're being duped by this propaganda. One of the big problems is when the church gets away from doctrine, and this is what the Old Testament teaches, this is what Jesus teaches, the individual person is responsible for his or her own sins, but Jesus paid for our sins. They have to have a fall man.

They have to have someone that they can blame and point to. What's astounding to me is some of the churches are believing it, and now they're starting to go along with critical race theory or some of these other things that are completely unbiblical. When we ascribe certain sins to people based on skin color, we're already down the wrong path. Christianity and critical race theory, for example, cannot coexist.

And I may ask you in a minute or two here to give me a good definition of a critical race theory, but you suggest here, David, and I'm not quite leaving here the pathway of how we have dropped the ball. We being believers have dropped the ball because quite frankly, the left is trying vociferously to cancel God, cancel Christianity, cancel our churches. And by the way, they had a little bit of success in 2020 and part of 2021. But look, in defense of my listeners and yours, they're praying, they're sharing their faith. When it comes to bureaucrats and the deep state politicians, there's only so much we can do as there is so much corruption that our listeners feel helpless. Now, one thing they're not doing is voting. So we can talk about that, but I don't want to dwell on that. All I'm saying is our listeners are doing a lot of things right.

There are some things that seem to be out of their control. First of all, your listeners and I would consider you and I part of the remnant. There's not enough of us. I've heard different estimates between 24 and 54 million professing Christians who do not vote on election day. Can you imagine, Jen, if just two or three million more Christians would vote in elections?

They wouldn't even be close with all the fraud and the cheating that we know goes on in every election. I do want to say something right off the top because some people might be skeptical about a book with a title, Canceling Christianity. You're thinking, wow, I thought your God was stronger than that. No, we're not talking about canceling God. So let's be clear. Jesus is Lord. His word endures forever.

He is the returning conquering king, and he cannot be canceled. But what the book is about is the attacks on Christianity, on the biblical worldview, and on those who represent it. That's us. People who know that we are Christians, they're going to come against us. Jesus warned us. Paul warns us. But we understand this is a worldview war. As you mentioned earlier, it is between those who trust in a God that is all-powerful, sovereign, and the inerrancy of scriptures, that biblical worldview, and then those who trust in government, in man, in moral relativism. That's why they don't follow God.

What's happened is they've got to try to eradicate the reminders. And you and I, and those who are listening, if you're living a Christian life, if you're speaking about it, we are the ones they have to silence or get rid of. I want to share a scripture really quick here that gives an idea of the salt and light that we are supposed to be. In 2 Corinthians 2, verse 14 says, Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and spreads through us the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

What does that mean? We leave a fragrance. We have to be out in culture. We have to influence our culture for Christ and for godliness. But they don't like it. The left and those who do not believe have rejected God.

They have to suppress the truth and unrighteousness. And that's why we're seeing so much of a Romans 1 mentality in our society rather than a biblical Christianity that most of us believe this country began walking in and living by. Okay, David, but here's what I think the bottom line is.

I want to just play a less than a minute clip of you. Here you're identifying, I think, the heart of the problem. And it's this raging spirit of the age. Now, what is that spirit of the age, folks?

It's actually the literal spirit of the Antichrist, which is on the loose. What we're seeing is totalitarian and completely un-American. We knew a leftist government was capable of communist policy. But what we're seeing is a dangerous one-party Democrat media, big tech conglomerate that suppresses speech, and they're now canceling American citizens. In some cases, they're ruining people's lives.

And remember, a sitting president was viciously attacked for four years by the liberal media and banned from major big tech platforms in the United States, the land of the free. Now, we shouldn't be surprised by any of this, but the speed in which so many events, converging events, it's alarming. And of course, it's very prophetic. Chaos, confusion, deception, and the Antichrist spirit of the age is on the move. Okay, David, you made one point there that leaped out at me, and that is the speed with which all of this is happening. I started writing about this decades ago. The liberal media, the bias in the media, they're not trying to hide it anymore. One of the chapters in my book is a one-party media, big tech conglomerate. I want to share a quote from George Orwell, I think that sums up what we're talking about. He said, whoever controls the image and the information of the past determines what and how future generations will think. Whoever controls the information and images of the present determines how those same people will view the past. He who controls the past demands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past. What we have seen is a complete rewriting of our history. We're talking about literally public school textbooks being rewritten. But where the media is concerned, it's almost like the next Republican presidential candidate, they most likely will never be treated fairly again. Yeah, I agree. This is probably anybody who's running for Senate or Congress. It's sad, but we've got to accept it. This is part of the war. I believe it's demonic silencing the hate, the preachers of tolerance calling us intolerant for policies that align more with biblical values, meaning Republican, independent, libertarian, some of these policies, which Trump was behind and the left, it just seems like their policies align with Antichrist.

You said in that little clip I played, I think you said it all. Folks, you're listening to Understanding the Times Radio. I'm Jan Markell, even though I don't sound like myself today. I asked for your patience this hour.

I chose to go ahead and do programming in spite of a throat that's really bad. So I'm doing my best. That's all I can say. And we're carrying David Fierrazzo's newest book, Canceling Christianity, How the Left Silences Churches, Dismantles the Constitution and Divides Our Culture. You can find this in my online store at OliveTreeViews.org. OliveTreeViews.org. You can get on my newsletter lists, E and print.

You can call my office and we'll get a copy out to you very quickly. It's a fairly thick book. It is almost 300 pages and it is filled with how we are being canceled and how they're trying to cancel the church. And David, just for a minute here, let me just go down again this alleyway of the church, because leftism is the latest religion of wokeism. And some people, their churches closed in 2020. And when they came back in 2021, their church was suddenly woke.

Why don't you explain what that means? And why is leftism and wokeism the same thing? And how did this happen to some very, very solid churches? Some folks are writing me and saying my church is doing this and every other message is on race relations. And it seems to me suddenly they're all woke and they don't know how to handle this. I read about that in chapter seven, and that's Lives That Matter to God.

And I talk about Black Lives Matter. Part of that chapter, I contrast Christianity versus Marxism. One of the reasons I decided to write the book was these three crises. We had a divisive culture in our politics in the presidential election year, right? That lasted actually was three years before that. But then COVID-19 hit. Churches had a decision to make. And then Black Lives Matter riots all summer long. And not only that, the lawlessness, which is prophetic, but there was no rule of law. Seems like there was stand down orders. Governors and mayors were saying, you cannot enforce the law. They were burning buildings. I'm sure you've talked about this quite a bit on your program.

We have as well. In Minneapolis, where you're at, it was hard to look at this and say, what country am I living in? Yeah, I had to smell the smoke.

Oh my goodness. And this is happening in many cities across the country. But here's the thing that makes your head spin. Christians in churches were locking arms with Black Lives Matter protesters.

And you're going, wait a minute. This is one of the most godless organizations and you've got to describe it the right way. It's Black Lives Matter Global Network. It's not just a spontaneous organization that is behind racial injustice. They want to talk about Black Lives Matter. Well, they're behind so much more and they're run by the left, funded by the left.

A lot of their donations directly through their website went to Act Blue Charities, which ended up going to the Democrat Party. I get into that in this chapter. But the thing that, Jan, I preached a sermon on this last summer, and it was one of the most controversial sermons, but probably one of the most watched that I shared at church that spurred this chapter, because well-meaning Christians, and here's where we can go down this road of this biblical illiteracy, we are emotion-driven and not truth-driven at times. And of course Black Lives Matter, but what we were doing is saying, yeah, we can justify all this lawlessness because the idea of supporting black people who have concerns about racism, that's a good cause.

But you're justifying lawlessness to do it. I had to go into what the background of this is. We know that their co-founders are trained Marxists. We know that the roots of this critical race theory, these contrasting worldviews of Christianity and Marxism. And since I mentioned CRT... Yeah, give me a little bit of a definition of critical race theory and why it's even important that my listeners understand that this has invaded the church. Well first of all, it's been in public school curriculum, not every school, but it's been in the universities, and a lot of things start from the universities.

I like to say what's taught in the godless secular universities does not stay in the godless secular universities. Critical race theory is a modern approach to social change. It's Marxist-driven, it's demonic, it's developed from critical theory, which came out of Marxism. It approaches issues like justice, racism, and inequality with the intent of reshaping, I think, of the Great Reset, right? You think about re-imagining, reforming or reshaping society, and the culprit comes back to white people.

So it's all because of the skin color, and this is almost exclusively applied to the United States, which should tell you something about this. It kind of goes along with the Great Reset too, but the critical race theory that's being taught now is simply to divide people, to put oppressors, meaning white people in America, against the oppressed, meaning anyone who is not white or is a minority, and this is completely unbiblical from what we've been talking about in the scriptures we are sharing. An issue that's come up here in, well we're here mid-2021 now, but it's really coming to the forefront, and that's this whole vaccine issue, and again, I don't want to go down the bandwagon here necessarily of, should we be taking the vaccine or not, but what I want to do is I want to play a short clip, because we're talking about the marginalization of Christians here, David, and your book, Canceling Christianity, I mean, they're trying to cancel the believer and everything that we stand for, and in this very short clip here, we're going to hear that it's white evangelicals who are standing in the way of America getting well. White evangelicals are among the least likely groups willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. That's according to a February poll by the Pew Research Center. About 45% of white evangelicals' respondents say they will probably or definitely not get a shot.

Only about one-third of black Protestants are hesitant by comparison, and just over one in five Catholics. As our Katherine Watson reports, the key to ending the pandemic likely runs through the evangelical church, encouraging evangelicals who are persuadable is likely the only way the country will reach the estimated 70 to 90% of nationwide vaccinations necessary to reach herd immunity. Katherine Watson joins me now. She's a CBS News White House reporter.

Katie, thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us about this issue. So break it down for me. Why are members of the evangelical community so disproportionately unwilling to take the COVID-19 vaccine? Well, you just showed the polling there. It's been something that's been consistent in the last couple of months. Kaiser Family Foundation has also done polling and found white evangelicals to be the group who's most likely to say they won't get the vaccine.

So that's something I wanted to dive into if it's a community that I have a lot of familiarity with myself. The issue isn't singular. The opposition isn't singular for any one reason. It's very multifaceted. There are evangelicals, particularly white evangelicals, who have concerns for political reasons, for religious reasons, for cultural reasons. So some of the reasons that I dove into a little bit include there are those who are concerned that there are very distant links to aborted fetal cells. There are those who have concerns saying, hey, we just don't have really long-term trials on these COVID-19 vaccines yet. There are those who have some concerns that are very specifically religious, such as those who are concerned that there is some relation to something that's called the mark of the beast in the book of Revelations, kind of a symbol of future times. So there are a number of different concerns on the issue. And that's what I tried to dig into, trying to show that it isn't necessarily one concern, but all of these concerns together, in addition to the skepticism of the medical community from the evangelical community that play into this. Per your reporting also, a lot of people just think this is overhyped by people like us, reporters and journalists on TV talking about how severe this crisis is. So David Ciarazzo, America not getting well faster is all the fault of white evangelicals because we're hesitant about this vaccine. I think it's a perfect illustration of how we're being canceled because of a position we're taking. Yeah, I know this is not a popular thing to say, but it just seems like one of the most discriminated people in America is a white evangelical heterosexual male. And of course, you know, females too, that don't take the vaccine.

This is amazing. Have you ever seen in our history, I know the answer is no, the push for a medical treatment or something that had to do with health. I see billboards, take the shot, save lives.

I see ads on TV. It's plastered on social media. The media, they even made a joke of it themselves. Yeah, like we're blowing this out of proportion. But if you look at the numbers, the death rates, and if you look at actual facts, you're saying, well, yeah, I guess they did blow it out of proportion. It's not like it didn't exist. We're not denying there was no such thing as a virus, COVID-19, but the way they politicized it and blew it out of proportion. I mean, hopefully this will be written about fairly one day, but I'm not holding my breath.

I understand. Again, I'm reading some paragraphs from David Ciarazzo's new book, Canceling Christianity, How the Left Silences, Churches, Dismantles the Constitution, and Divides Our Culture. David, you say this, the left can't win arguments and debates because their policies are awful and their worldview is warped.

They rejected God, so they now have to silence those who disagree with them and who hold to a biblical worldview. And then you say, what we are seeing is totalitarian and un-American. We knew a leftist government was capable of communist policy, but we are seeing a dangerous one-party big tech media conglomerate suppress speech and cancel American citizens.

And remember, a sitting president was viciously attacked, as you said, for four years by the media and banned from major big tech platforms in America, the land of the free. You say power corrupts, know the facts, understand the times we're living in, beware of leftist virtue signaling, and please do your own research. Oh, and please refuse to be silent. And I think that is so key is that I think many have backed down and I referenced it earlier. We're so marginalized and that deep state is so deep and the corruption on the left is so intense that Christians simply don't know what to do, how to do it, what to say or how to say it.

Absolutely. And it's because we've allowed it to get to this point. By our past silence, I wrote a book six years ago, The Cost of Our Silence. I talked a lot about this because of our past silence, not just on social issues, but just being able to speak about faith and Christ and biblical morality in our culture for a lack of doing that has produced what we see now. There have been consequences of Christians taking the path of least resistance.

By the way, I have a chapter on the COVID test. Did the church pass the COVID test? My short answer, no, we did not. We had churches cave and give in to the government under the guise of submission to government being unlimited. Submission to government is biblical, but it's not to be unlimited.

This is the problem. We just went along, we don't want to make any waves, we didn't want to resist. When Hebrews tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, how were we to gather and pray and have communion, the Lord's Supper, to have fellowship together, to hear God's word? An online sermon or teaching by your pastor is, I would even call it, a substitute for actually the saints being the church and meeting together, plus all the lack of ministry. During that time when so many churches shut down, did that mean people were not hopeless anymore? People did not need to hear the gospel? People were not suicidal?

No, it was just the opposite. At a time when the church needed to be the church, an Easter Sunday last year, the tomb of Jesus was empty, but so were too many churches, and this was a problem. So now we're talking about vaccine passports. It's not the mark of the beast, but you think, okay, it's almost like you have to show your papers. Well, this is very eerie when you look at world history and what Hitler did, and I'm not comparing our government to the Nazis, but some of these principles that are coming up should be concerning and alarming to Bible-believing Christians. Apparently you have had an issue with, and I'd kind of like to explore this for a minute or two, and what we'll probably do is do that in part two of my programming here, but you have no book-speaking tour with this new product.

Apparently you've had some ads denied on various platforms. You are dealing with a lot of reader apathy today, and I'm just assuming that some of this is the result or the product of one and a quarter, almost one and a half years of COVID and what that's done to the world, the culture, and the church. So I'd like to explore that. I'm going to take just a real quick time out here when I come back. I want to come back and ask you about that specifically, David, I really do. Why on earth you're not even thinking about a book tour? Every author thinks about a book tour. I'm an author.

I know about book tours, but you're not even planning on one this particular year, and that's because some things have changed. I want to talk about that. Folks, I'll be back in just a couple of minutes.

Links to our religious liberty were subtle just a few decades ago, but then came the discrimination, the propaganda, the politically correct mob, and now, cancel culture. Community guidelines, medical misinformation, hate speech, double standards, your post didn't follow our standards, content no longer available. I've heard enough, and you probably have too. So have a majority of Christian friends, pastors, and ministry leaders. Sponsorship isn't coming for you sometime down the road if you dare speak the truth.

It's here, friends. The left can't win arguments and debates because their policies are awful and their worldview is warped. They rejected God, so they have to silence those who disagree with them and who hold to a biblical worldview. Welcome back, and before I head right back to my guest, David Fiorazzo, you can learn more about David at davidfiorazzo.com, davidfiorazzo.com. He is the host of the popular radio program Stand Up for the Truth.

You can look into that as well, Stand Up for the Truth. That's a part of the Q90 radio coming out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Let me talk about what's going to be coming out of Southern California in September, Saturday, September the 11th. Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, California has opened registration for the Behold, He Comes West Coast Prophecy Conference. I'll be there.

Jack Hibbs is the host. Amir Sarfati will be there, Pastor Barry Stagner, and folks, this is my conference that Jack has, at least for 2021, because of the COVID issues in Minnesota, has not been possible the last couple of years. So registration is open for that one-day conference, I believe it's 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, California.

It will be live streamed, and I believe there's a very small charge, like $5, but you need to contact Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, California for that event. Once again, I'm asking your patience with me today, because something went ravaging through my office, and everyone got sick, including me. So I apologize for my voice and the way it sounds today. I decided I'd rather carry on with my guests, let him do most of the talking than do a rerun for today's programming. Again, that conference is Saturday, September the 11th, approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you can't attend, you can watch it online, and we'll give you regular updates. We're carrying David Fierrazzo's new book, Canceling Christianity, and David, when I went out of part one of my program, I was making a comment or two about some of the difficulty you've had. First of all, you're being denied a platform on social media to advertise your book. Part two, I guess, of my comment would be that you have suggested that you're not even doing a speaking tour, because you're facing too much apathy. Talk to me about this, and how are you being, you personally and your book, being canceled via major platforms?

Thank you for asking that. On social media, I've been shadow banned for many years, particularly even on our Standard for the Truth page. That means you can post something, but they prevent people from seeing it in their news feeds.

So that's called shadow banning. Well, I tried to put four different ads on Facebook for my new book, and all four were rejected. The main reason, they said, social issues or political issues or things that could influence public opinion. Believe it or not, that's what they said, here's the left influencing public opinion all day long, whether it's the public tools, the media, government, they're influencing public opinion, and nobody with conservative or Christian views can give any input that we can't influence public opinion.

That was a big problem, so they've rejected the ads for the book. As far as the book tour goes, we're in a different time now, and I understand that. And this goes BC, before coronavirus, because even years ago, when I tried to speak at churches and I used to go out a little bit more and speak at churches, a lot of responses I would get is the material is not appropriate for our church, or it's too controversial, or we don't talk about those things here.

I'm talking about a Sunday evening or a Wednesday or a Friday night. I'm not even talking about a Sunday morning, and that's for another debate, whether we should talk about these issues from the pulpit. Even before the coronavirus, there was a limited amount of pastors that would allow someone like me to come in with this type of material to talk about what's happening. I have a show called Christ and Culture. I talk about cultural issues all day long, and try to do it from a biblical worldview to warn people. When it comes to the coronavirus now, churches were closed, many of them are just starting to get back into having their own programs. Some of them aren't even having other events, so to try to go down that road and knock on some of those doors knowing that the virus had affected so many churches as far as their scheduling and their programming, I just wasn't willing to spend the energy or do all that work, and it would have taken a lot more work to try to do that, and I still would have probably been limited in the churches I could go speak to.

Okay. Well, guys like this fella are speaking up in churches. This happens to be Jim Wallace. Now let me just clarify this little clip that I'm about to play, because Wallace, I believe, is a—well, he's certainly a blatant socialist. I would say he's a blatant Marxist. He has a welcome door in almost any church that would be looking at social gospel, and you address all of that in your book, this new social gospel raging through our churches here. He's going to call you and me, David Fiarazzo, an antichrist, because you and I represent the white nationalism that the antichrist is going to have, and let me just play this two minutes, because we haven't left the subject matter of the church here and come back and discuss this. David, to be a Christian is more than your stance on abortion and same-sex marriage. Followers of Jesus Christ must understand that every person who walks this earth possesses the image of God. For this reason, racism, sexism, and homophobia are an assault on that very image of God. Now we have a president who makes this degradation of the image of God routine, and yet this did not start with him. Trump is not the cause of all this.

He is the consequence. Our country is embracing its very worst demons, showing how far and deep they really go. There is a better America, a better future, but this future involves choices, moral choices none of us can avoid. Christians who say they're not political will still make a choice when November 2020 rolls around.

This can be a choice of silence, which works as affirmation of the status quo. It can be a direct vote for an anti-truth, anti-immigrant, white nationalist administration. Or it can be a vote against those systems and prejudices, a choice proclaiming that the image of God still has value. I am going to use a word that is controversial and may even sound irreverent, but it must be said, when your policies and your words are antithetical to everything that Jesus said and did, those policies are anti-Christ. The white nationalism in America is not just racism, it's anti-Christ. The dehumanization of immigrants is not just a lack of compassion, it is anti-Christ. The mistreatment of women through sexual harassment, abuse, and assault isn't just sexist, it's anti-Christ.

David Chiarazzo, that was Jim Wallace, obviously a socialist, probably a Marxist. But in the church, he is not banned, he is not censored, he is not deleted. He has an open door in many, many churches today. Let me just say one word, wolf.

Another word, run, wolf in sheep's clothing. First of all, he is a Marxist. Second of all, I don't know if you remember, but he is the reason that Stand Up For The Truth podcast started 10 years ago. Explain that, we have new listeners who don't know. He was invited to speak at a major Christian music entertainment festival in Wisconsin called Life Fest, and Jim Wallace was invited.

He was given the main stage right before a band called News Boys. There was no conservative Christian, there was no Republican, and all he did, he criticized conservative Christians, he criticized Republicans, he was divisive. He was a catalyst for this program because he was pushing social justice. He is an apostate. An apostate simply means a departure from the faith, things that he was accusing the right of.

I'm thinking, boy, they're really good, aren't they? They accuse you of doing the exact things that they're doing. Social justice, whenever you put a word in front of justice, look out, be discerning, because it's a deceptive philosophy that's captivated the church. I will say, Jan, many well-intentioned believers, but this influence of social justice having a major impact on biblical orthodox doctrine, such as an understanding of sin, salvation, sanctification, this is redefining biblical justice, and there is a contrast. One more thing real quick.

Go ahead. Background on Jim Wallace. He was a radical in the 1960s. He was with the Democrats Socialists of America. He was an activist preacher, he's, of course, editor of the left-wing so-called Christian magazine Sojourners, he's an apologist for communist atrocities in Cambodian Vietnam, he is a foe of capitalism, he contends that biblical scripture calls for the large centralization of government to aid the poor. Did Jesus ever say to the Church of Rome, hey, we need your money to help the poor?

No, and Paul writes, the Church is supposed to be helping the poor. Here's the issue, we have not done as good of a job as we could have, but that doesn't mean get the government involved, but this is Jim Wallace's background, he's a wolf, and I have no problem with saying that flat out. Well, I only played that because you were telling me that you don't have all that wide of an open door in the Church with your message here of canceling Christianity, how the left silences churches, dismantles the Constitution, and divides our culture, a new book we're carrying by David Fierrazzo, but my point was, Jim Wallace has an open door to many churches, not all, please don't hear me say all, but he has an open door to many churches to go in and spew the Marxist line and call you and me, David, an Antichrist when we're trying to stand up for truth, and you have a radio program titled Stand Up for the Truth. That's a tactic of the left, accusation, and who is the accuser of the brethren?

Satan himself, the father of lies. I don't know how much time we have, but I did want to talk about, right in the book about Nehemiah chapter 4, and I make the point at the end of the book, here are some parallels we can draw that we need to draw with the conservative, the American, the biblical church. There was an attack on the Jews when the enemies of the Jews found out that they wanted to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, your listeners are probably very familiar with the story.

In Nehemiah 4, they built the wall, they were joining it together, but then came the conspired threats and attacks of the enemies, they tried to mock the Jews, and they tried to threaten a military attack, but here's one of the responses that I want to point out, it's brilliant. Nehemiah 4, 9 says, but we prayed to our God, first response, and because of them, we set up a guard against them day and night, one of my questions is, where are the watchmen? Where are those who are guarding the flock?

Where are those who are trying to sound the alarm? Like it says in 1 Thessalonians 5, we are not of the night or of the darkness, therefore let us not sleep as others do, let us watch and be sober. And then later on in Nehemiah 4, it says, he stationed men in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall with swords, families had their swords and spears, and he told the people when he saw some people being afraid, he said, do not be afraid of them, remember the Lord who is great and awesome and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

How could we apply that to what we're going through in America? We have lost the will to fight as the body of Christ's soldiers, the apostle Paul refers to believers as, and from that day on, Nehemiah 4, 16, half of my servants carried on the work, while half of them kept hold of the spears, the shields, the bows, and the captains were behind all the house of Judah. Finally, verse 17, those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens, carried with one hand the work and with the other, keeping hold of a weapon. So they worked with one hand and had a weapon in the other. Let's use that analogy, we're supposed to put on the armor of God as Paul writes about in Ephesians chapter six, we are supposed to be ready, we are not supposed to be on defense, we are supposed to be storming the gates of hell.

Gates are defensive. But unfortunately, Jan, I make this point toward the end of the book in the conclusion, that too many Christians in America seem to think we're on a cruise ship, but we are on a battleship. I was going to raise that very question, so why are we on a cruise ship, not a battleship?

A lot of reasons, one of them is the American style. When you have the freedoms that we do here, religious freedom and other freedoms, you tend to take things for granted. You tend to not pursue the things you should be pursuing, even falling away from your passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ and your spiritual things, the disciplines. Part of it is the best life now theology.

We're supposed to be taken back with a little drink with an umbrella hanging out of it and just shipping that on a chaise lounge and just taking it easy. Leisure, entertainment, self, that's the message of American Christianity when the actual message of Jesus is count the cost, deny yourself and follow me. If you feel like you've been deleted, well, you have. And he explains why, he explains the tactics, he explains where it's going. And you say this, David, a revolution has been underway for some time. The left is using the issues of COVID-19, racial division, church restrictions, environmental extremism, transgender ideology, hatred of former President Trump, immigration and identity politics to further their godless takeover. Their goals? Here are some of their goals, folks.

Honestly, they'd be 20 or 30, but here's a few. Crush the middle class, reset capitalism, destroy freedom, cause chaos. And then, David, you've got a whole chapter on globalists and globalism. And globalists are thrilled with everything that is going on in America. And you even have a chapter in here on the great reset, and I've done many programs on the reset.

It's so important. I believe the reset is actually gonna be in the tribulation. And now the World Economic Forum has delayed their meetings until sometime in 2022. Why did you explain why the globalists are thrilled with everything going on in America right now? You can't fulfill their godless plans to reset the world and take down capitalism without weakening or dismantling America and the powerful country that is the United States. Trevor Loudon once said that America will never go down militarily. That's why they won't try to attack us on our shore. We are too strong for that as of now because our nation is strong.

It used to be because our churches were strong. But he says if you can take America's economy and weaken it and dismantle it, if the economy goes down, America goes down because the military will go down. And Trevor Loudon said, and if the military in America goes down, we all go down. And that's where globalism will come into play.

I know it's been coming up in the last couple of years, this great reset, but this goes way back their plans. I want to just quote David Rockefeller in 1974 at the United Nations Business Conference. He said, we are on the verge of global transformation. All we need, this was in 1974, all we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the new world order. And now we have the coronavirus. And this is the crisis they're waiting for. And now you add racial division and Black Lives Matter propaganda on top of that. And then the angst and the division with politics in America and President Trump and everything that happened.

And we are overdosing on crisis. But I want to say one thing. This agenda, most of us understand, most of your listeners understand, forgive me for preaching to the choir, but it is demonic. And I just want to read something from Revelation 3. Now Jesus rebuked churches in Revelation 3, I believe personally, he would even more harshly rebuke the United States of Laodicea, I mean, America. In Revelation 3, it says, be watchful and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die. For I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember, therefore, how you have received and heard, hold fast and repent.

Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief and you will not know what hour. So one thing I want to point out from that is, he says, strengthen the things which remain. What is remaining of biblical, true Christianity in America? We've got to strengthen the remnant. We've got to get converts. We've got to convert solid believers in Christ to go out and walk and fight this battle with us. I'm quoting you here again from the book and the book is Canceling Christianity.

You can find it in my store, you can get on our newsletter lists and you can call my office. You say American citizens decide what kind of country they want to live in. Do we want Christ or chaos, liberty or liberalism, discipline or destruction, religious freedom or reprobate revolution, truth or tyranny? You say, make no mistake, the left's hatred for Christianity is also its hatred for America itself, what she stands for and what she was founded upon. Pray for being redundant, but if the body of Christ does not engage and wake up to these facts, there may be little hope for a free America.

I'm going to play just one more clip. It's just 40 seconds and David, you talk about dysfunctional. We're talking about various things here that have gone haywire in the last 20, 30 years. I say Congress has gone haywire in the last, well certainly the last 10 years, but I want to play this clip of Jerry Nadler, Representative Nadler, because he is virtually saying that today's Congress has no interest whatsoever in God Almighty. Well tonight, a social media firestorm over Representative Jerry Nadler's response to Congressman Greg Stube's criticism of the Equality Act using scripture. Stube read from the Bible on the House floor sparking a sharp response from Nadler.

I'm going to start with the truth. Deuteronomy 22 5 states a woman must not wear men's clothing nor a man wear women's clothing for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this. Now this verse isn't concerned about clothing styles, but with people determining their own sexual identities. Mr. Stube, what any religious tradition ascribes as God's will is no concern of this Congress. And later Stube told radio host Todd Starnes that the words, in God we trust, are set above the wall of the House speaker's roster. David Fierazzo, God literally just got tossed out of Congress. God's will is of no concern to this Congress. And we wonder why we've got some issues, and we wonder why Christianity is rapidly being canceled and deleted. Right.

It's amazing. We know that Jesus is Lord. We know God cannot be canceled, but they sure are taking him out of America, aren't they? And this is Congress for those lovers of history that understand our true, unedited history in this nation and our founders, which 92 to 95% of the documents that you can find from our founders' writings acknowledged God, the Bible, or biblical morality. But you don't hear that anymore.

Now you're hearing just the opposite. President James Garfield once said, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. I believe, Jan, of all people, the Church, those who claim the name of Christ, should be the ones that should not tolerate this darkness, this corruption, but we have not held our leaders accountable.

This has been part of the problem. And to have him say that, he needs to be saved, of course, and as a gospel, God needs to save him, his heart needs to be changed, and then his worldview would change if he knew that one true, living God. But the fact that he did say that speaks volumes, 25 years ago, Democrats would only think such things, and they've tried to push God out of legislation of Congress.

But now to say that on the House floor, that was a very revealing moment in our politics. You wrap up your book, I'm just reading a paragraph of how you're concluding the 300 pages. And again, folks, we have the book in our online store here, Olive Tree Views, Views as in Viewpoint, OliveTreeViews.org, you say, We must redirect immediately. It must be all about Jesus again. Not about us, not about church growth, not about buildings, tolerance, numbers, programs, our comfort or pleasing people. The Church is a battleship, but too many seem to think we are on a cruise ship.

And then you conclude, The left is out to win. We must combat the lies, overcome cancel culture and respond to deception with truth. And then you say, Regardless of the ongoing purge of biblical Christianity, we press on. And you close, David, It is time to count the cost and be willing to sacrifice. It is time to join forces with dedicated like minded believers. Today is the day of salvation, and we must redeem the time, stay the course, my friend, fight the good fight, run the race and keep the faith, a crown awaits. David, I got about three minutes left.

It's all yours if you want to wrap this up. So I ended with the Apostle Paul's words, may have been his dying words, but right before he was about to be executed, he said those very words to cheer on the disciples of Christ to keep fighting the good fight. He said, I have fought the good fight, I've run the race, I've kept the faith, and a crown awaits not only for me, but for you who long for his appearing. And one thing that we haven't done well is we haven't been fighting these battles outside of our church walls. Ephesians 5 says, Therefore, do not become partners with them, meaning those who are godless. For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, walk as children of the light. And verse 11 says, Take no part in unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. And I'm warning my brothers and sisters listening right now, if you are going to speak the truth, I encourage you to do it in love. Nonetheless, speak the truth unapologetically, but it will not be popular, and it will not be well received oftentimes. And you will need to be discerning, because at times you need to wipe the dust off your sandals and move on to the next town or the next person who has not rejected the truth of Jesus Christ. And that's a tough battle sometimes when we have to decide to move on, but that's part of reaching as many people as we can, having a sense of urgency, because we know our time is short.

We're looking at the last days and these signs all around us in our culture and around the world. David, thank you for all you do. And if they're first-time listeners to Stand Up For The Truth, how do they find your podcast? StandUpForTheTruth.com, and there's past podcasts you can look up, and also my personal website DavidFiorazzo.com, the book is on Amazon, and Jan, I do have issues with Amazon, but that's one of the best ways to get it out there. I have a feeling when they find out what I've written about Kamala Harris, it may be taken down, but you can look for it on Amazon, Canceling Christianity. And you can find it in my bookstore, OliveTreeViews.org, call my office, get on our newsletter lists. Look folks, for the last 2,000 years, societies have been trying to silence Christians and blot out God.

If that were possible, we know it isn't, so America's no different. The left has been relentless in its commitment to destroy not only the church, but the very foundation of America, and enemies of God will use any crisis to silence churches, to suppress the truth, and advance a godless agenda. But what does the Bible say about the godless? In Psalm 2, it says, He who sits in the heavens laughs.

The Lord scoffs at them. And He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain. And by the way, that King is returning.

He's returning any day, even perhaps today. I want to thank you for listening. I want to thank you for putting up with me and my voice this week. We'll talk to you next week.
