Restoring Biblical Manhood kinda sounds like we are preaching to the Choir, as my guess would be; that the only men who would possibly dream of coming to such a conference would already be restoring Biblical Manhood to some extent. Yet that is exactly those who God is restoring and those words tell a story that has been stolen. If any man truly understood what that really implied – that his hope could be restored and his joy, his dreams and his delights, there would be more men then they could accommodate. So very much has been stolen, but GOOD NEWS…. JESUS CAME TO SEEK AND SAVE THAT WHICH WAS LOST>>>NOT JUST THE LOST BUT ALL THAT HAS BEEN STOLEN.

Have you ever considered, pondered the fact that the second most popular song category after, “LOVE” is “HOME”… Yes, think of the great songs about home. Homeward Bound – Simon & Garfunkel, Our House – Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Home – Phillips Phillips, Sweet Home Alabama – Lynyrd Skynyrd, Take Me Home, Country Roads – John Denver, Green, Green Grass of Home – Tom Jones, Two Of Us, (GOING HOME) – The Beatles.. WHY WOULD YOU SUPPOSE THAT IS?

One of my deepest wounds was my parents divorce when I was 19 years old. I was in tears just this morning recalling the feeling that permeated me back then, that I can not go home, it doesn’t exist anymore. I could go to the building but it wasn’t home without mom and dad. My home was stolen from me, I wasn’t a Christian Back then and had no understanding of what had been stolen, but my heart was broken just the same. My guess is that you know exactly what I am talking about and you too long for it to be restored.

The word restore in Hebrew has everything to do with going home. Strong’s Hebrew: 7725 שׁוּב (shuwb) Starts with a SHIN the fire letter, it has to do with our hearts burning for God and one another, especially family, then a VAV – God’s light coming down connecting the SHIN the last letter a BET, which means home… The meaning of the word restore has been stolen from us – IT means that we burn-long for home and the reason our heart does is because God’s heart does.

That’s the reason that His word, the Torah/The Bible Starts with a BET, בְּרֵאשִׁית – (BERESHIT) In The Beginning God. God wanted a home where he could have relationship, kick of his shoes with those he loves. The word Bible itself, that Ba, ba…B sound its a BET – though the etymology of Bible is, ‘THE BOOK’, my opinion is all languages came from Hebrew and its God’s sense of humor that BIBLE in Hebrew would have two BETS and a LAMED, (meaning Heart Longing for GOD). The Bible is all about restoring what was lost, HOPE – LOVE- JOY.

Manhood has much to do with Sonship, and its also has everything to do with HOME. In Hebrew, Son = BEN בן Once again starts with a BET – House, then a final NUN the Jews call the “NAIL” – House Builder – sure makes sense, right- my Son’s last name is Dilmore – he is building my house.

I could go on and on about what that is, but just listen to anyone of those songs listed above, poets of the centuries have been describing that longing. Actually, to really mess with your religious spirit, that’s the word – REPENT – Just Saying…. Turn back to home, Dad’s waiting.
