Welcome to Truth Talk Live, a daily program powered by the Truth Network, where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. What is your national day of prayer? Prayer.

That is what we're talking about today on Truth Talk Live. The number to call in with your prayer, and I would love to pray with you, 866-348-7884, 86634-TRUTH. It is an amazing thing that here in the United States, it is declared that the first Thursday of May, which happens to be today, is the National Day of Prayer. And very cool, because, you know, along those lines, we would love for you to call in and win something today, because the National Day of Prayer, not only do we want a prayer, but we want everybody to be a winner, right, Nick? So, if you can tell us—here's some questions you're welcome to answer—what year was the first National Day of Prayer in the United States? What year was the first National Day of Prayer? And maybe you can tell us which president, in the 1800s, declared a National Day of Prayer.

What was that about? Or, if you want, I can tell you that in 1952, another big event happened with the National Day of Prayer. What president was involved in that in 1952? Or maybe you know which president actually signed it into law that it would be the first day in May.

That happened in 1988. 866-348-7884. We got four prizes to give away from the Truth Prize Vault. And, Nick, that's pretty exciting, don't you think? He's going to jump in here and say, I caught you by surprise, did I? Ah. Anyway, I tried him out on Nick, and he did pretty good.

I think he was three out of four. So, you know, we're expecting you to call in at 866-348-7884. Again, I'd just be honored to pray with you. I can tell you that I've had fun with this as a pastor. I had an opportunity to call a lady that visited our church and put her prayer request in the offering plate, and I had a chance to pray with her. She has a prodigal son like so many of us, and I had a chance to pray with her.

And, wow, what a wonderful conversation we had. And those people who know me well may know that one of my best friends is James Banks. He is the author of Prayers for Prodigals. And, you know, I don't know if you know it, but at that church, if you happen to be ever in the Durham, North Carolina area, James' church is Peace Church. And on that church's wall, they have prayers for prodigals that are all over the country. And so what a neat thing that you can, if you get the book Prayers for Prodigals, or maybe you got a prodigal in your life that you want to pray for and see how to pray, you know, along biblical lines, really, really cool, you can send this information that I know, because I quite often visit Peace Church.

I've had an opportunity to speak there many times, that they pray for prodigals all over the world every day. So, you know, it's a thing about the National Day of Prayer that quite often we think about Second Chronicles 7.14, and my pastor, Pastor Quartz, years ago at Calvary, before he went to be with the Lord, would often say that, you know, the problem out there with the country is not that the unsaved people are acting like unsaved people, it's Second Chronicles 7.14, if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land. And I don't know if you've ever seen the prayer scene in Bruce Almighty, but I always think so much of it. It's like, you know, he was praying about all these different things, and then God asked him, you know, what do you really care about? What really matters to you? What really is down there in your heart that you want to pray about? And then Bruce goes on to, you know, describe what really is in his heart, and something he really does care about, and then they pray, and then, you know, God says, now that's a prayer, right? And that's what we're looking for, and looking to be able to pray with you.

I would absolutely love that. And so, very cool. We've got Sale is in Greensboro, North Carolina.

So, Sale, you're on Truth Talk Live. You've got to answer for me. Yes, hi, how are you? It's been a long time. Yeah, it's so good to have you back.

I love that laugh. Yes. Yes, 1952 was President Harry Truman, and he was one that decided that this was going to be definitely a national day of prayer for the United States.

You are absolutely right, and so by all means, you know, Nick's going to get your information. But what would you love, what do you really care about, Sale, that we could really pray for today together? I have a very close friend that has cancer, and it has returned, and I went with her. I went to pray for her last Saturday, and she had so much hope, and so I would just like, it's a sexual prayer for her. What's her name? Her name was Mary. Mary, okay.

That is wonderful. She is a believer, and she believes that God has healed her. We had communion when we prayed last Saturday, but I would just like for you to just pray for her as well. Okay, well, let's pray. And by the way, if you're listening, by all means, join in with us here, because, you know, where two or three are gathered, and even it's all by radio, you know, there could be thousands, and that would be amazing. So Lord, thank you so much.

Thank you so much for Sale. Her courage to call in today, and her love for her friend, Mary. You know, what a neat thing to intercede for our friends, and I know she's scared a little bit. I know I was when I had cancer, but Lord, we know that you, you know, could make the stars in the sky and all these things. You have complete control over these things, Lord, and so we don't understand what's going on completely, but we know you do, and we trust you. Like Mary said, she's been healed, but Lord, however that works out, Lord, thank you so much.

Lord, you make that happen. I pray that Mary would sense your presence, that she would feel your spirit, that she would feel closer to you than ever, that through this ordeal, that she would push into you, not away from you, and that her family would feel your love, and sometimes it's harder for the family, Lord, so you know what's going on with them, and give them peace, and help them weather this story so that other people watch and see, wow, that's just like, just like Sales said, that's what hope looks like, that's, this is what joy looks like, this is what it's like for people to walk with you, Jesus, and we ask this in your precious name. Amen. Amen. Amen, and thank you so much, and we're also going to pray that Mary will have a testimonial when she comes back for the other brothers to know that God is real, that he's still living, a living God.

Absolutely. Well, we've got to go to a break. We want your calls, though, 866-348-7884, 866-342. Thank you, Sales. Stay on the phone for Nick. He's going to get your information. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today is the National Day of Prayer, and so, you know, what is your prayer on the National Day of Prayer? It's the first Thursday of May, which is such an opportunity in this country, and, you know, how can we pray with you? What would your prayer request be?

What do you really care about? We would love to hear that, as well as—which, by the way, that number to call in, which we would love to hear it is 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884, and we got these questions that are still unanswered, like, when was the first National Day of Prayer? I'll tell you, it was in the 1700s, and so you have 99 chances to get that right. Anyway, and then who called for National Day of Prayer in the 1800s? Which president did that? What year might that be, or something along those lines?

And then still, we have the other question of, you know, which president was involved in making it the first Thursday in May, or maybe, you know, the year that that happened in, 866-348-7884. We'd love to hear your prayer on the National Day of Prayer, and we have our good friend Busman in Ohio. He thinks he has an answer for us, so Busman, you're on Truth Talk Live. How are you, sir? It's always great talking to you, Robbie.

Love this program. Now, I'm going to be honest with you, in the eyes of our Lord and the Truth Talk listeners, I tried to cheat Brother Robbie by asking Nick, and I ran my answers by a verse, and I said, Nick, is this the right answer? That's our dear screener. Right, he is. And he said, Busman, I'm putting you right through to Brother Robbie. I said, okay.

So I admit, I admit Truth Talk Live, I tried to cheat. But I'm in the buskmobile, and I think I know the answer to one of the questions, and I want to say, Robbie, it's President Lincoln, President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, and his administration was during the Civil War, which was 1861 and 1865. So I'm going to say, Robbie, can I call a friend? You actually already did, and you're so, you know, let me just say that somewhere in between 1861 and 1865, you are exactly right, so just pick a number right in there.

I'll bet you anything you get it. Oh praise God, okay, I'm going to go then with 1862, because he was clear there wasn't a big outbreak when he first got in, but then it broke out, and I'm going to just, off the top of my dad joke head, 1862, Brother Robbie. You are so close that we're going to give it to you, of course you knew we would, but actually it was 1863 when it really got kind of heated, but nonetheless, isn't it beautiful that, you know, clearly, the first one, the war was raging, and certainly the second one, and in so many different ways, it's a shame that we got to break out in some kind of war before we realize. Amen to that, brother. We need to be praying before the war breaks out, amen? Exactly, exactly, and the idea, I love it, that, you know, if my people that are called by my name, and I, you know, I had a new thought on that one, by the way, Bussman, that being called by my name, you know, we're all going to get a new name, and so yes, we're called by Christians, but I know that Jesus has a name just for you, right? According to the book of Revelation, that's correct.

And that is your true identity. In other words, he knows, man, I gifted Bussman with this wonderful courage to call into radio shows and share beautiful testimonies and those kind of things, so, you know, it's kind of cool to think that the people that are called by my name, in other words, are walking actually in their identity, walking in the way that he made them, which is to be his sons and to humble ourselves, because we know that apart from him, we can do absolutely nothing, right, and seeking his face, what could be more fun than that? And turning from our wicked ways, you know, that's how the prodigal son got to eat steak, man, I'm just saying.

You can go for those pods that are in the pig pen, or you could eat steak, you know, in one way or the other, it always sounds more fun. So how would you like to pray on the National Day of Prayer, my friend? I am honored by this, Robbie, seriously. I take prayer very, very seriously, Robbie, and truth talk, very seriously. There was a part in my life where that's all I had, and I am not being hyperbolic.

This is all I had. It was a very rough time in my life, and I relied on prayer. I believed that prayer would work when it's all I had to rely on, and I will say this. First, I want to say I've got two prayer requests. One is that we have more wonderful people like Sarah and her heart in the United States of America under the banner of Christian. This dear woman called in, did not put herself first, she put her friend Mary first, and said, Robbie, will you pray for my friend Mary?

We need more hearts like Sarah's, brother Robbie. I agree. Her name was Sale, by the way, but it's okay. Sale. Yes. That's the right direction. And I apologize, ma'am.

No, no, no. I'm sure she's honored because, again, you couldn't be more right. Everybody wants a friend like that, right?

Yes. I know I do, and I relied on them. I relied on them, and they prayed for me, Robbie, and I am grateful. And the second prayer request is I am honored to be part of a local community, my hometown, Robbie, and I'm going to shout it out, Xenia, Ohio. They're having a prayer vigil, a second one tonight at our courthouse, and I am so moved that this has been organized by city leaders of my hometown.

They had one at noon today, and then they're having a second, and I couldn't make that because I work at the lumberyard, but they're having a second one for all of us who work at 7 p.m. tonight, and I can't wait to just thank these local leaders and these local Christians for organizing this and doing this in my hometown. So I want to say shout out to Xenia, Ohio. I love you guys. How do you spell that, V-N-I-A?

That's an X, Xavier, think Xavier, for X-ray, E-N-I-A, and it's Greek for hospitality. Really? It is. Now that you've spelled it for me, I think I've actually driven through there. It's in between Dayton, Eastward. If you left Dayton on Route 35, U.S. Route 35, you would go through my hometown, yes, and it was blown away by a gigantic tornado in 1974, but we recovered.

Right. Do you go that way? It seems like I was going to Fort Wayne, Indiana, and I came through Dayton and was going to Fort Wayne, and it seems like I went through there. And I looked up Bussman when I was there, and I couldn't find him.

Oh, you didn't look hard enough, brother. I would have loved to have coffee. I would have taken you for a 50-second tour for only 25-seconds. I can assure you, the next time I'm in Xenia, I'm looking you up, man. You can count on that. Or if you're in this area, oh, we've got to go to a break before we pray, but we need your prayer request. We need to hear what's on your mind, or maybe you have one of these answers for us. 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH, when was the first National Day of Prayer? We'll be right back with more prayers.

You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live, and today is the first Thursday of May, which makes it wonderfully the National Day of Prayer. And so we're asking, you know, what is your prayer today on the National Day of Prayer? We would be honored, we truly, truly would, to pray with you. You call us 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH, and right before we went to the break, we have our good friend Buxman with us, and Buxman gave us his prayers, which were for more wonderful hearts like Sale, who called in and prayed for her friend two segments ago. And then also, you know, there is a National Day of Prayer event at Xenia, Ohio, tonight at seven o'clock, and it's neat to pray for prayer events.

I mean, how cool is that, that people would sense God and people would sense, you know, their connection to their country and their connection to the things that they know God cares about. And so, with all that said, are we ready, Buxman? I am ready. I'm waiting for your prayer there, brother. All right, Jesus, thank you, thank you, thank you for all the Truth Talk audience, everyone listening right now, and Lord, we join together, we lock arms as brothers and sisters in Christ, and we do seek your face.

We really do, we humble ourselves, if we understand clearly, God, apart from you, we can do nothing, and so we need you, we desperately need you, and we do ask for more wonderful—that you would raise up more wonderful Christian hearts like Sale, people that care enough to lay down their own lives for their friends, what that looks like as your son gave us that picture so clearly in John chapter 10 that he would lay down his life for his sheep, and we thank you for that. And we join that thought in thinking about the people tonight in Xenia, Ohio, who are going to lay down their life, their time, and their beautiful evening here in the middle at the beginning of May, to come and spend time and humble themselves and seek your face. I know for this country, I know for their community, and certainly for one another, Lord, as they take this time tonight, I pray that they would sense your presence, your peace in just a very unique way, that they would just really, really see and feel what it's like to be amongst the body of Christ. Lord, it brings to my mind, I had a chance to pray at the Million Man March on the steps of the Capitol many years ago, there were a million men there praying, and I'll never ever forget the sense you gave us of your presence there, Lord, give that tonight to those folks in Xenia, Ohio, and I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen. Baruch Hashem, Yeshua Meshach, thank you, Brother Robby, thank you so much, Brother.

It's always a joy, and you're always a fresh wind to my spirit, Robby. Thank you, brother. Oh, same here.

Same here. You have a great event tonight. I'd be anxious to hear, you know, what goes on. That's okay. I'll give you a Bussman report. I promise to give you a Bussman report.

I look forward to that. God bless you, my friend. All right. Love you, Robby. Love you, too. 866-348-7884.

866-344-TRUTH. It is a day of prayer, and how can we pray with you, for you, as the case may be? You know, just an honor. It's really cool to see these events. I know that I was in Davie County this morning, their YMCA there had an amazing National Day of Prayers. I know that a lot of YMCAs around the country. I know that the one in Yadkin County did as well, and I just—I think that's so cool.

I was personally at the Christian Businessmen's Committee meeting this morning in Mocksville, North Carolina, and we were praying there, and maybe you had a real experience at a National Day of Prayer event. We would love to hear it. 866-348-7884, 866-344-TRUTH, have fun. We have my good friend Orlando is in High Point. Orlando, you are on Truth Talk Live. How you doing, Robbie? Oh, anytime I can talk to you, I'm good, man. I know you got a treat for me. What answer do you have for us? On the National Day of Prayer?

Yes, sir. It was—I think the first time that it was observed, it was by President Truman in 1952, July the 4th. But then it was moved by President Reagan to May the 2nd. It's actually the first Thursday in May. You're very right. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan signed it in as the first day in May, which, you know, that's absolutely amazing. And so— But it was actually Truman who started it in 1952, July the 4th.

Well, you're close. And I'll say that he did—he established the National Day of Prayer, but actually the first one happened in the 1700s. But don't give it away, because somebody else can call in with that one. And we got some prayer words coming in. But Orlando, how can we pray with you today? Well, my brother is in hospice in Costa Rica. He's in the hospital? No, he's in hospice. He's in hospice in Costa Rica. Oh, my goodness.

What's your brother's name? He had colon cancer, and they didn't give him enough—you know, they didn't give him much time. Oh, no. I'm so sorry, my friend. What's his— Well, this is life. Oh, I know.

I know. What's his name, Orlando? His name is Gerardo. We call him Lalo.

Lalo? Uh-huh. And were you originally from Costa Rica? Yeah, I was born there. I came here when I was little. Oh, I did not know that.

But very cool. So Lalo—and well, let's pray, Orlando. I'm honored that you gave me a chance to do that. So Lord, thank you so much for my dear, dear friend Orlando and the many times we've had to pray together. And so we do that here today and all days on the National Day of Prayer, and we do ask for a special request for Lalo. His dear brother who's in Costa Rica, he's had this diagnosis that is, I'm sure, very disheartening and difficult for his family, so I pray that you'd certainly be with them and you would catch their hearts through this and that they would sense your presence. And for Lalo, Lord, I pray if it be your will that you would heal his body, that he would recover from this amazing testimony. Because we know you have complete control over cancer, but we do know, Lord, that you are going to heal him, and Lord, we thank you for your goodness. We know that you're in the midst of this, that everybody is connected to it in some way. And so, Lord, we just pray, certainly for Orlando and his brother in this time and need, and we ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We thank you. So Orlando, is he a Christian? Is he a believer?

Do you feel like going to heaven? He's a Catholic, so there's always doubt there. Do you think you'll have a chance to have a good conversation with him?

We talked when I was in Costa Rica last time, and we've been talking over the phone here for the last years. Okay. Well, let's just throw up another prayer real quick for this conversation, okay? Mm-hmm. So, Lord, thank you again, Orlando, and I know his real heart is to spend eternity with his brother, and so, Lord, you know his heart, and you know what's going on with that, and then, Lord, we pray that you would make it secure, that he knows that he knows that he's going to be with you for eternity, and that his brother knows that they would have that conversation every brother wants to have with his as you've given me the honor, and I think Orlando was there when I've had that conversation with my own brother, and so that truly, you're not willing that any would perish, and we want Leilo to be, I would love to meet him, and so, Lord, I pray that you would come forward in that, and that you would touch his heart and truly heal him there if that hasn't already happened, and we ask this in Jesus' name. Amen?

Mm-hmm. Amen. Thank you, Orlando.

I will continue to pray for that, and I'm sure we'll talk soon, I hope. Yes, definitely. All right. We got a prize coming your way, by the way, and so make sure, Nick, all right, come on in. God bless you, my friend. Bye-bye. Bye. All right.

We have Steve is in, I think it's Mercer County, Ohio, and so, Steve, you're on Truth Talk Live. Good evening. Bobby, how are you? I am wonderful and so honored that you would call in today, and so it says you got a prayer request for us. I do. It's been a long time coming, and on the 19th, some of us guys are going to get together at our church and talk about doing a podcast, and I guess what really kind of killed it for me is— That's okay.

Take your time. I've been married for 37 years, and unfortunately, the first 34-ish, 5-ish weren't that pleasant for my wife because I was a mold of the world. I fit in pretty good, and I lived for myself, and I was very ambitious and thought being in business or businesses was it, and I think what really got my attention was about 10 years or so ago, I asked my kids what defined me, what defined their dad, and my daughter said money, and I just want to help men not put themselves and their families through that, and if we're not in the Word daily, we're already deceived, and we only get two choices. We're either men of the Word or we are men of the world, and we will pay the price. Our families will pay the price, our communities, our workplaces, and I just think the Lord is leaving it all up to us.

We are leaders of the family. We need to turn things around and point as many people back to the Lord as possible. I agree, Steve. I hate to jump in on you, but we've got to go to a break, and when we come back, we are definitely—May 19th is coming up, this podcast—we're going to be praying for Steve. We need your prayer.

Thanks, man. We'll be right back. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today is the National Day of Prayer.

It's the first Thursday of May. How exciting is that? And so, you know, how can we pray with you? What is your prayer on this National Day of Prayer? And right before I went to the break, we had Steve in Ohio, and he was excited because he has a podcast starting on May 19th, and it's going to be, it sounds like, how to help men to quit fitting into the mold of the world and getting into the Word of God. What a tremendous idea for a podcast, I would say. And let me say to you, Steve, if you're still listening, I hope you are. I hate you hung up, but it's okay that I am over the podcast network at the Truth Network, and if I can help you, and I'm not talking about charging you for anything, I just want to give you some tips or whatever I do this and have done it, you know, for, I don't know, almost 20 years now. And if you go to christiancarguy.com, which is my website, at christiancarguy.com, if you click on Robbie, that's all my contact information, and feel free to call me, email me, whatever you want to do.

I would love to talk to you about help your podcast be all that it can be, and I'm so thankful for what you are doing out there. Listen, we're going to pray real quick, but before we pray for Steve, I want to put my friend Dr. Carson to have to call in. He's got a prayer for first responders, but I know, Dr. Carson, you're going to want to pray with me for Steve, right? Are you with me, Dr. Carson? You're still with me? Yes, you there? Yeah!

Hey, how are you, sir? What a day. National Day of Prayer. I know. Praying for Steve is huge, because you've got to get the word in to get the world out.

That is exactly right. So I knew you'd want to join me in that. So Lord, thank you certainly for Dr. Carson, but thank you for Steve, and for putting this on his heart to start this podcast, and for these other men who are joining with him. I pray that they would boldly go, where you would have them go in this process, that you would give them great favor with the people that they're working with, and that you would give them great wisdom in how to get your word into the hearts of men, as we all so desperately need it. And Lord, I pray that you would bless them with opportunities and men to listen and downloads and all that come with that podcast world.

I pray that you would give them great insight. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. Amen. Amen.

And so Dr. Carson, go ahead. I was thinking on this National Day of Prayer, I've always made it a point to pray for our first responders, but especially today, their funeral is taking place in Charlotte, and we lost four dedicated men, family men, who were just doing their job to protect our communities, and they lost their lives, and I just want to be able to take time to pray for first responders, policemen, as they put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Yeah, what a tragedy. Their families all saw them that morning, and little did they know that later that afternoon, everything would change so horribly. So I love the way you pray, Dr. Carson, so if you don't mind, I'm going to let you do this one, and I would love to just pray with you, as I know all the truth listeners were, especially, well, for first responders everywhere, but those families as well.

Yeah. Father, right now we come to you, and we do first and foremost want to lift up these families whose hearts have been just so broken. They did not know when they said goodbye on Monday morning, they would not be seeing their loved ones alive here again, and we just pray that you'll be very near and close to each family member, to the friends, to the colleagues. They need your special grace right now, and Father, thank you for the men, the women who do put their lives on the line for us every day to make sure that we are safe. I pray you will put a hedge of protection around them. I pray, Father, that they will have that spirit of wisdom as they have to encounter very difficult situations, and we pray, Father, for the revival that Robbie's talked about today.

We need returning from our wicked ways. Lord, I wish there was a way that we didn't need any policemen, because our hearts were in tune with walking with you and doing what's right in your sight. But Father, there is evil, there is wickedness, and we have first responders who you use as your ministers, based on Romans 13, instruments for your hand to hold back evil. Father, again, we lift up first responders.

Thank you for their dedication. We pray for their protection, and Lord, put your hand of love, your arms of love around these dear families in Charlotte. We pray this in Christ's name. Amen.

Amen. And since I've got you, let's go ahead and pray for our leaders, and I'll do this one. So, Jesus, thank you again for this country, and what an amazing freedom that you've allowed us with such brave men as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and certainly Harry Truman and Reagan, who set for this idea of prayer, understood the importance of it, and we stand on the shoulders of giants and just have the freedom to worship you and to do this.

And so, Lord, you have raised up for this country such amazing shepherds in names that we've just mentioned and so many, many more. Lord, I pray that you would continue to put that on our current president and our future president coming up in this election, whoever you choose that would be. We trust you completely in what you're doing, but Lord, we pray that they would have the courage to do what you ask them to do, not what the world does. I pray that you would give them clear instructions on how you would have things go for your people and that we would humble ourselves, and as I was listening to Steve, the contrite heart of knowing, man, I just haven't been doing this right, Lord. The senators and the congressmen and the judges and all the branches of our government, Lord, even at the local levels, the mayors and the city councilmen and the people working at the board of elections, Lord, as we come onto this scene of elections, Lord, give us integrity and give us transparency and help us to be your people. Lord, help us to choose what's right, not necessarily our political party or anything else, but just show us the direction to go, put it on our hearts, and help us to be truly your people that are seeking your face and walking with you, that we would help others to see the light and come into that deep personal relationship that we so enjoy with you, Lord. We pray that all our nation would come to understand what an amazing, wonderful God you are, that we could completely love and trust you. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Amen, amen. And so I can't help but note that here two Sundays ago, Dr. Carson and I were at the Magnolia – this is a shameless plug to an extent – it's a Magnolia 23 restaurant in Asheboro, North Carolina, which proudly displays a sign that says they're the 57th best restaurant in the United States of America. And I would think you would agree with me, Dr. Carson, they're at least 56th. They might even be 54th. For five seconds, they are one of the best in the entire country. I would say so, too. We met some wonderful people there.

And the persimmon pudding, I understand, is yeah. So I have heard over and over again since we were there, Dr. Carson, reports of our opportunity that we had – and I think about first responders, I couldn't help but think of that opportunity – that there was a lady that fell out right in front of us, right? And there were first responders, which was actually one of the waitresses that jumped down there. Her name was Amber, and she happened to be a member of my church. And we got a chance to pray with her, and the Lord saw fit to help this lady respond that looked unconscious.

And what an impact God made on those people. I gotta tell you, Amber has told me that they just can't stop talking about – that lady not only revived but got up, went into the ambulance where the first responders actually were, took care of her, came back and finished her – you know, if you get the 56th or 5th best fried chicken in the world, you don't sit and not enjoy it. You come back out of the ambulance and eat your lunch. You sure do. And she was there doing it.

When we left, she was enjoying the meal. But there was a scary moment, but the first responders were right there. Yeah, and I – you know, the first responder that I think about is the Holy Spirit, which, you know, had to beat me about across the head before I realized, oh yeah, Robbie, you're supposed to pray. But, you know, he is there, and he is with us. And for all the prayer events that are going on tonight in all the different counties of America, as we got just a couple of seconds left, Dr. Carson, would you lift them up in prayer? Father, we are taking time today to acknowledge our desperate need of you. I pray that as our prayers come to you today, you will see a group of people in this nation that understands you are God and you are God alone, and we do, as Robbie has said, we want to be your people. We pray for these events that are taking place tonight. I pray that it will bring about a spirit of humility, of brokenness, of repentance. And then, Father, just a recommitment to say I'm going to be the best I can be for my Lord and Savior, to be a light in their community. And I pray for all these different events to stir up where there may be a spirit of revival in our nation that will go to our world, because Father, you've allowed us to come to know you, and you want us to make you known to the world. So use the National Day of Prayer events that have already taken place and tonight to stir us up to be more of what you want us to be doing. We pray this in Christ's name. Amen. Amen. And let me just say thank you to all you wonderful folks who called in today and shared in this day of prayer. It is the Truth audience that drives this show. I am so...
