For Home Loan Solutions that fit your life, well, Rocket can. We had a celebrity basically help plan our show today. And we didn't even know that this celebrity was helping us out as it happened. Robert Wall was in our 345 Hudson Street, the actor. He was in our 345 Hudson Street studios today and he's sitting in the newsroom and he came in with Dave Sims, who was the play-by-play voice of the Seattle Mariners.

And Dave used to host on WFAN years and years and years ago. So Dave walked and was talking to someone else and Robert was just left in the newsroom. And I roll on in and I pop our rundown on the table and I say to Hickey, all right, this is what we're going to talk about today. And every topic that we were just discussing, like, okay, we're going to do this at six or try to do this 620, 647, 720, 740 and so on and so on. Robert was commenting and he was at the World Series last night. It's like, oh, that's interesting. And then we were talking about the college football playoff and the selection committee and he said, oh, maybe all three SEC teams when we're talking about Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama could get in and he was very plugged in.

Clearly had an opinion and he just keeps on talking and talking and talking as Hickey and I are trying to play in the rundown here and finalize the rundown. And I go, oh, by the way, we've been talking to the guy for 15 minutes. I'm Zach. He goes, oh, I'm Robert. And like I looked at him like, this guy looks really familiar. Where do I know this guy?

I think much of it. And then he goes, oh, can you guys show me how to get to the other part of the newsroom where he's trying to reconnect with Dave Sims? And I go, I just walked right through the door. He thought you needed to like have a badge and then get the badge or get you in and all that because there are some places here where you need an ID card to get through the doors.

But the specific door that he was trying to go through, you didn't need. And then Santa, who's been here forever and used to produce Tiki and Tierney and now is the producer from Aggie and Perloff. He scurries out into the hallway and he goes, were you guys just talking to Robert Wall? And I go, oh, that's who that was. So Hickey, we had a celebrity help plan the Zach Gelb show today on CBS Sports Radio. And we may have to get him in sometime in the future because maybe this may not be a good thing because he was agreeing with a lot of what you were saying.

So maybe some of these sports opinions maybe are a little bit misguided. That's my guy. He knows what he's talking about. I think we need more Robert in here. And a very nice guy.

Very nice. Ryan does this thing where he gets like a little bit afraid of just introducing himself to human beings. Ryan Leaf was in there and he used to produce Ryan Leaf. And you did that what remotely I would imagine when you produce Ryan Leaf?

We were in studio a few times, most are remote. Oh, so he doesn't recognize you, Ryan Leaf? Well, you've been like four years.

Okay. Well, Ryan Leaf comes in here and Ryan has a relationship with him where Ryan Leaf now tweets hot take Hickey all the time. And Hickey didn't even stand up and say hello. And when I was talking and we were talking to Robert, not knowing who he was at the time when he was talking to us because we just started some random guy in the newsroom that was in here, maybe a PR rep for someone or something. And Ryan, when I introduced myself, he didn't originally introduce you. He had to look over to you and say, oh, I'm Robert.

And you're like, oh, hey, I'm Ryan. He got to work on those interpersonal communication skills a little bit. Well, I didn't know whether to bother him or not.

I'm busy at like 20 minutes or we're getting ready for the show. It's just like I had a lot to do in a short amount of time. He's kind of moseying around.

I said, no, like if he wanted help, I don't know. Sometimes like it was very random. He was just in the newsroom. You would have thought that he was just on a PR tour and he was just kind of lost his client or something.

It ends up being Robert. Well, it was wild. So then I didn't want to be bothered as bad as that sounds, to be completely honest. I said a lot to do. I didn't want to have them entertain him. You're big time.

No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm just trying to be the best producer I can and make sure everything for the show is ready to go. Gotcha. So I had a few things to get ready. And I noticed he was kind of like for 10 minutes, kind of walking around, standing, watching TV, peeking his head around. And I'm like, do I say something? But I know as soon as I say something, then it's like, oh, here I am kind of hosting and entertaining. And next thing you know, it's six o'clock showtime. It's like, that's true.

You're like, well, where's everything? I'm like, I was just being nice in the last 40 minutes. He was a very friendly guy. Very nice guy.

But he was trying to have too much conversation. So I sacrificed the one on one relationship with the guy that I'll be honest, didn't know who he was for the show. My hero, I really can't say, but yes. Now, did you hear about the other big celebrity sighting here at 345 Hudson Street this past week within the last seven days?

Within the last seven days, big celebrity. Is this sarcastic or no? No, I'm being serious. No. You didn't hear the Paul Rudd story.

Oh, I just found out about that story today. Now, myself and Pete the Body Baladi, like I have no problem with Pete, but I think Pete has a problem with me because Pete was trashing. It's funny how this works. I didn't start this. Sometimes I just end things.

But when you start with me, I fight back. And I thought a lot of it was in like a kidding sort of sense. But Pete, obviously, from what people have told me, did not find this to be funny or kidding around. Pete said he can't listen eye on football anymore because I say Titans. And I don't enunciate the T enough for him. So Pete was killing the show on the air saying he doesn't listen. So I fired back and was like, oh, that. Well, what did I call him? I said something board up all that miserable board up in the morning. And then I'm like, oh, I'm so concerned about management with Pete the Body Baladi's thoughts. And it was very simple shot back. Pete heard it.

Had a little problem with it and is not happy with me. Now, I think Pete is not really upset with me. He was just upset at his situation. I heard the story today. Finally, Pete, something happened with this car. I think someone threw something through a windshield. Smashed by a trash can. I don't know if they know who did it because part of the reason is that you're going to continue why they don't know who did it.

I don't know why. The security cameras, they were scaffolding in front of the security cameras where his car was. So they couldn't even see how the window was smashed, of course. And one of the guys that saw what happened was Paul Rudd.

So think about this. Mraz initially saw Pete's car because he was going to his car, I guess. And he sees Pete's car smashed in the windshield. And then Paul Rudd comes out of nowhere while Pete's coming down. So Pete had his car messed up, had to get towed, and I had to take the train home.

And I guess now, like, no one can get this thing fixed. And when they meet Paul Rudd, because Paul Rudd was, I guess, doing something airy movie-wise. And the next thing you know, Mraz is having a conversation with Paul Rudd. And Pete didn't even get to meet Paul. So I think it was just a piling on of events where, even though I didn't start with Pete, I just ended it. But Pete wasn't happy with me.

But I think a lot of his frustration is still from the car. So I got to, you know, next time I see Pete, I got to give him a big bear hug. I feel like it's also very Sean. Like, that perfectly sums up Sean's life. Something bad happened to someone he knows, and he benefits. Because, oh, look at me. I'm hanging out with Paul Rudd.

Best of both worlds. Well, Sean was just being nice. No, no, no. I'm not blaming. I'm just saying. Like, that's like one of those lucky encounters.

It's not your car. And all of a sudden now, because of someone else's misfortune, it's, here I am hanging out, rubbing elbows with Paul Rudd. It's like, and Pete misses Paul Rudd.

So, like, it's a total triple whammy. Yeah, it's been a rough week for Pete, the body, the body. So, I think next time I see Pete, you know, I just got to give him a big hug and hug things out. I don't know, though. Pete may want no part of me. I got management that's mad at me, left it right now with Pete, the body, the body.

But you really never know. You can't even describe some of the things that goes on within a five-block radius of this building because of the shows that go on here at 345 Hudson Street. Robert Woll in our pregame meeting, and I said, I don't even know when that was Robert at the time.

We just started with some random guy standing there. And Paul Rudd on the investigative watch of Pete, the body, the body's car. You know who Robert Woll kind of looks like for a hot second? I thought he was, was, oh, now I'm just blanking. Scott Boris.

Not a bad call. Like the hair, the look, very, very quickly, very slight, not, you know. Robert Woll's a lot nicer than Scott Boris. Is Scott Boris?

I'm guessing Woll. I don't really have a lot of relationship with Scott Boris, but he does seem like a pompous douche. And I feel like any good agent's a bad, not the nicest guy. You always, all agents are sleazeballs and slimeballs.

They're just different levels of being a slimeball. But you need to kind of be a slimeball in that sport because you got to be tough. You got to negotiate, and that's your job to get what your client wants. That's right. And just trash the people that you're negotiating. And nice guys finish last. Yeah, that's why you're always last in everything. That's right.

I'm working on being a bad guy. So Robert Woll brought up a point to us, and this was just in the newsroom, that he thinks all three SEC teams are going to get into the college football playoff. Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. Your thoughts on that?

Because that was the one thing that we actually, I disagreed with him in the moment, and I didn't hear your opinions on it because you were just sitting there cutting tape and being a nice person. I mean, it's possible that the path is very clear. Alabama wins SEC title game, beats who, you know, the loser of Georgia, Tennessee, goes undefeated the rest of the year.

It's plausible. I don't see it happening because, one, I think Tennessee were on the table. Two, I don't think Alabama is going to win the SEC title. Oh, so you are picking Tennessee against Georgia. Picking Tennessee. Who is that game more important for, in your opinion, Georgia, Tennessee this weekend?

Who is it more important for? That's a good one. I will say... I think it's Georgia.

Here's why. Oregon win against Georgia. The Georgia win against Oregon, where Georgia blew out Oregon. It was a good win, but we didn't think Oregon was that good in the moment. Now, they crushed them, and they were a lot of team in the country at the time, Oregon. They crushed them 49 to 3.

But that was in September. That was the first game of the year for Georgia. They have not had a big win since then. Now, you can only play who's on your schedule. Tennessee, yes, they don't have the same respect as Georgia has, because Georgia, for the last few years, has been a dominant force and just won a national championship. So I could see why a lot of people would say, oh, this game's more important for Tennessee. But Tennessee already beat Alabama.

And I'm just going to say this. If, let's just say, Tennessee loses the game this weekend. Tennessee loses.

They still have that argument, okay, one loss potentially the rest of the way. They would have to have, and we beat Alabama. Then if you get Georgia and Alabama up against one another, yes, you're going to need Alabama to lose that game. Because I don't think three teams with the SEC are going to get in. But if Georgia takes care of Alabama, then you look at that scenario, who's then the next team out? Alabama have two losses, who's been the next team in? It's going to be Tennessee.

Now, I guess you could also argue it the other way. Well, actually, no, because then if you lose to Tennessee this weekend, if you lose to Georgia this weekend, would they then, if they're going to put two SEC teams in, let me ask you this. If Tennessee loses to Georgia this weekend, and then Georgia loses to Alabama in the SEC title game, and that's Georgia's first loss, who do they put in?

Between Georgia and Tennessee, I would say Georgia. Because Georgia beat Tennessee. Yeah, I would still argue that what you would need to happen, I think this game's more important for Georgia, because here's also why. If you're Tennessee, if you're Georgia, and let's say you lose this game this weekend, you're then going to need Tennessee to beat Alabama twice in a season.

And that's a tough ask, for Tennessee to beat Alabama twice in a season. So that's why I think that this game is more important for Georgia, because this would be by far and away their best win of the year. And then for Tennessee, you still have a road, because you would feel good of the chances of Georgia beating Alabama in the SEC title game. I do feel like we're going to get Tennessee and Georgia both in the college football playoffs. Like right now, if I had to give you my four teams, Georgia, Tennessee, I am leaning slightly, and I've vacillated on this a lot of times this year. I'm leaning Michigan right now over Ohio State. And then even though I don't think this team is all that great, I do think Clemson's going to run the table, and I think Clemson's going to get in. I think what you will have are the four teams in a order, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, and then Clemson get into the college football playoffs. I guess going back to your question of Tennessee, Georgia, I'm going to say Tennessee is more important for them. Okay, why?

Two reasons. Number one, I think if you win Saturday, you basically automatically punch your ticket to the college football platform. Even if they lose to Alabama in the SEC title game, I would say both are in.

You should get in. Number two, I think if we're talking about impressive wins in the resume, I would go to venture to say the Oregon win will age better for Georgia than the Alabama win will age better for Tennessee. I don't feel confident that Alabama is going to run the table the rest of the way. And if Georgia, let's say, dismantles wins by even not even dismantle wins comfortably two touchdowns over Alabama SEC title game, all Georgia also beat Alabama that Oregon is going to run the table because let's say that you're right and Alabama loses another game and Alabama has two losses. Alabama right now with one loss, not playing well against Texas, not playing well against Texas A&M, the committee still has them as the six best team in the country. Oregon, they'll beat Colorado, they should beat Washington, but then they play Utah and Oregon State back to back.

And then you're gonna get whoever in the Pac-12 championship game. The odds of Oregon, the rest of the way of running the table, I'm not gonna say are not good, but I think that they'll find a way to put a second loss on that resume. And if you have Alabama with two losses, and then you have Oregon with two losses, Alabama is gonna be ranked in front of Oregon. They're ranked in front of Oregon right now. But if it's close, you're talking about a 49 to three win for Georgia versus a 52-49 win at home over Alabama. There, but I do think unless you have Oregon running the table and winning the Pac-12 championship, the odds of them moving in front of Alabama are then not good. Now, it's possible for Oregon, Oregon's been one of the more dominant teams in the country since that game against Georgia.

And Bo Nicks finally has answered your prayers of being a consistently good quarterback in college football. So I lean that this game in a bizarre way is slightly more important to Georgia than Tennessee. But ultimately, whoever loses this game is then gonna be rooting for that team to go win the SEC and beat Alabama. Because most likely, you're gonna get two SEC teams in the college football playoff. And I still think the loser of this game is definitely in play to make the college football playoff. I would anticipate right now to never count Alabama until they're out. But right now, if I had to guess, just watching objectively college football this year, Alabama does not look better than Georgia or Tennessee. So I would give you my four teams right now and I know this changes day to day.

Georgia, Tennessee, no order, Michigan, and then I would put Clemson in predicting and projecting who's gonna be the four teams in at the end of the year. And it is now all tied up at two games apiece with a big game five coming up this later between the Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies in South Philadelphia. We head out to the guest line right now and welcome in a man that played with the Houston Astros also won a World Series in 2005 with the Chicago White Sox.

And that is Jeff Blum. Jeff appreciate the time as always. How you been? I'm actually doing pretty good considering man, it's been a fun World Series so far. How are you guys doing?

I'm doing fantastic. So what did you make of the combined no hitter last night? Right? Isn't that just baseball? One night Philadelphia is just slugging home run after home run and then the next night they couldn't even get ahead. I mean that is probably one of the more incredible things is to have two of the best teams in the American League National League and you see an explosive offense in the Philadelphia Phillies put up five home runs seven runs and then show up the next day against a guy like Christian Javier.

They cannot score up a fastball and get no hit by three relievers and Christian Javier. I mean it's miraculous that it happened series only the second time in history. But to have have that happen on back to back nights pretty much explains or sums up this World Series so far in the moment. What did you make of the decision by Dusty Baker to pull Christian Javier on ninety seven pitches while he's throwing a no hitter.

I wasn't shocked. We saw that we've seen this program before with the Astros. They went into the Bronx and played very well and Christian Javier had a start in that four game series against the Yankees where he did very similar things where he had six big shutout baseball and Dusty Baker immediately went to the bullpen to close that thing out. So really no surprise on our end.

You know having watched Houston Astros over the course of the season the way that Dusty is going to function with a young pitcher like Christian Javier. I thought it was awesome last night. Some people today they get all caught up in that it's a combined no hitter against usually the organic no hitter with one pitcher.

Does that matter. I still think that was a pretty damn cool moment last night but some people are downplaying the importance of it. Yeah I mean you can downplay the importance and say it's not a traditional no hitter where you have a pitcher go a complete game shut out no hit baseball.

But at the same time guess what happens. There's no hits in that hit column. So guess what it's a no hitter combined or not. And I still qualify it as a no hitter.

It's just like a couple extra guys to get it done. When you get from the mental side of it is Jeff Blum is here with us. I know it's the World Series you got to move on flush it. This is a pivotal game tonight. How do you expect Philadelphia to bounce back tonight. Well I would have been there a good quality lineup and I really like the balance of their lineup with you know Schwab at the top you've got Harper in the middle and then you've got some guys later in the lineup that can put together some good at bats like a Jean Segura those some veteran guys down there. So I like their lineup and I like the way they're competing against the line of pitching rotation and bullpen like the Houston Astros that can come out there and get you in different ways whether it's the fastball or the high spin rates that everybody likes to talk about. But I think it's a little more it's a little more on Justin Verlander than it is the Philadelphia Philly offense because I don't think they're going to change anything. They're just going to try and go out there compete make Justin throw some pitches and make mistakes because we know if if after pitchers make mistakes in the zone the Phillies are going to get to it.

It just so happened that Christian Javier didn't make any mistakes. And the two big storylines tonight it's the Phillies moving on from getting no hit and then it's Justin Verlander one of the great pitchers we all know is going to the Hall of Fame the moment he retires. But the one flaw in the resume for a guy that's had a lot of success in his careers in the World Series he's 0 and 6 with an over 60 R.A. tonight Verlander where's your confidence level at with him. Well there's so many things that you can manipulate and comment on and say that are pushing in the right direction for Justin Verlander just in the sense that he had an opportunity to watch what Lance McCullers did he had an opportunity to see what Christian Javier did. And then you say the legacy and you know this might be his last start of twenty twenty two which is going to be a Cy Young year. But this is really an opportunity to create legacy and really erase some of the some of the issues he's had in past World Series because if he goes out there and pitches up to the standard that he has during the regular season and really does a good job of creating swing and miss and really doing a job of a good job of keeping his team in this ballgame then we are going to remember Justin Verlander is that guy that went out went out there and game five in a hostile environment and put the Astros one game away from winning their second World Series in the last six years. I think that's the mentality he's got to go in with but he's also had the opportunity to go to school on his start. He's had an opportunity to go to school on what Christian Javier did in last night's game and you've got to keep in mind he's got the fastball that actually has more velocity than a Christian Javier.

Can he make that work to set up his slider and his breaking ball to go out there and compete. So a lot of what's going into this game today is basically summing up the last 14 years that he's been in the big leagues to go out there and try and get himself another ring with the way that it seems like momentum is starting to shift after game four. Do you agree that this game is more important for Philadelphia tonight especially when you have game six and seven if necessary in Houston. Yeah I think they would like the idea if you're Philadelphia going into Houston knowing that you just need to win one game. I think it's a little bit tougher task knowing that you've got to go in there and win two games. You know that's how every team is felt on the road but this whole world series has been so unique and you know what actually in the past the home field advantage hasn't actually been in the Astros favor but I think still if they're able to win the game five going to Houston knowing they just need to win one of two like the Phillies are going to try and do I think it would be a lot of fun for these guys to know they have one game to win as opposed to two and any time you have an opportunity to go on the road and try and win one of two that's the idea split on the road and if the Phillies are able to win today split on the road they've got themselves a championship but obviously the Astros have different ideas.

Jeff Blum here with us. You know Jeff it's kind of crazy with how poorly Nola and Wheeler have pitched in this world series how it's all tied up at two games a piece. I'm really surprised that this is 2 2 with the way that both those guys got beat up in this series. It is I agree you know and you know being here in Houston and watching the way they they competed against the Seattle Mariners who put up a really good fight obviously the familiarity there allowed them the opportunity to prove to be good competition but they absolutely blew the doors off the New York Yankees who didn't provide as much balance as the Philadelphia Phillies did and the Astros worked them over in a pretty good fashion. I think the expectation was to go into this Phillies series in the world series and do the same thing but you've got to remember the Phillies have one of the top five payrolls in all of baseball. Their expectation in spring training was to go out there and compete for the National League East and now they're in a position playing up to the up to up to their expectations under Rob Thompson. So it's not a surprise that it's this type but it's been a surprise to me that it's really been kind of a seesaw battle where the Astros have gotten to the likes of Aaron Nola and Zach Wheeler who are two of their best pitchers.

I thought that's probably the most fascinating part about it. You being around the organization and still involved with the team calling the games Jeff Blum. Is the cheating scandal still a big deal because I'm kind of over it by now. We've seen how much sustained success the Astros had now. They haven't won a World Series since the scandal but they've consistently been there. Yeah and I actually appreciate you saying that because I know it's kind of tough to be in the Northeast I would imagine and talk about that and not bring that up but it's still something that is obviously an astral war just in the sense that you know Rob Manfred took the opportunity to pinpoint the Astros and put a lot of it on them. But I really think since that 2017 season the way you've seen the Astros perform in 18 19 20 21 and now 22 has probably done a very good job you know outside of fan bases but inside media or inside baseball circles really kind of explained that the Astros are a legitimate legitimate organization who's going out there trying to go out there and win and they've done it the right way in the last five or six years since that whole issue popped up and I don't think fan bases are ever going to give them the benefit of the doubt but I appreciate the fact that people who really follow this sport really dig in on the numbers appreciate the fact that they continue to go out there lose George Springer lose Carlos Correa you start to lose some big pieces from that 2017 team and guess what they still go out there and compete fixed rate American League Championship Series they're gone they've gone to their fourth World Series in six years so I think that speaks a lot a lot to the fact that they've actually been able to play really good baseball despite that that scar that is on them a little bit and hopefully someday if they if they don't win this year or if they do win this year hopefully someday down the road we can all sit back and go man these guys played great baseball it was a lot of fun to watch even with that that discouragement and that scar from 2017 what would it mean for you to see Dusty Baker finally get a ring oh man you know what Dusty is one of the greatest guys in all of baseball and I say that from a fan perspective having watched him you know throughout the course of his career playing with the LA Dodgers when I grew up in Los Angeles and then competing against him as a player in the National League Central when he was with Cincinnati when he was with Chicago and then I get to you know I get to call his games here in Houston and get to know him even better as a person and all of a sudden that you know that endearment of Dusty and what he's been through in this game and what he's brought to this game and how he's handled being the leader of an organization that did have a lot of you know a lot of visceral comments a lot of polarizing guys on their team and the way he's handled it with such grace and put up the numbers he's been able to do I want nothing more than Dusty Baker to win a championship trophy raise that thing above his head and then start writing that Hall of Fame speech because that would really be icing on the cake and you know truly selfishly just on a personal level I would love to see that man raise a trophy last thing I'll ask you we're all harping on Justin Verlander tonight I have no clue what to expect out of Noah's Cinder guard what do you think Thor will do in the game I think Thor's gonna be good we had a chance to watch him with the Angels pitch against the Astros without the you know without the Thor like hundred mile an hour fastball and I was actually you know I was probably shouldn't say it but I was pleasantly surprised the way he was able to adjust off not throwing a hundred miles an hour he's developed a very good two seam fastball I was thoroughly surprised to see how many ground ball outs he was able to get out get throughout the course of a year and then that slider has been very good so what those two pitches does is actually split the plate pretty good so the right-handed hitters for the Astros are gonna have to find a way to clear out the front side to compete with the two seam are in and once they start to do that I would expect Thor to go to the outside corner with that slider and how they defend that so it's gonna be a little bit of a chess match but I would anticipate that Rob Thompson's probably gonna have a pretty short leash I would actually you know maybe in my opinions be surprised if he goes more than one time through the lineup I think that he's gonna try and get three innings out of Cinder Garden and he's gonna go to that bullpen Jeff Blum we appreciate the time enjoy the game number five tonight in and out of the World Series I appreciate that great being on with you thank you there you go Jeff Blum joining us on the Zach Gelb show on CBS Sports Radio and this season for the first time you can hear every Westwood 1 NFL broadcast stream live for free that's Mondays Thursday Sunday nights the International Series holiday triple hitters in every postseason game catch all the action on the Odyssey app and Westwood1sports.com via Westwood 1 station streams or by asking Alexa to open Westwood 1 Sports all sponsored by AutoZone free battery testing free battery charging and replacement batteries that fit your needs that is what makes AutoZone America's number one battery destination get in the zone AutoZone when we come on back can the Philadelphia Eagles go undefeated in the regular season we'll discuss they are 7-0 and I'm just gonna go out on a limb here I think they'll be 8-0 by the end of the night going up against the dreadful 1-5 and 1 Houston, Texas. know you could say on any given Sunday even though it's a Thursday tonight is there any way you could see the Texans Brandon Cook's not playing in this game I think Nico Collins is out as well is there any way that you see Davis Mills outshining Jalen Hurts and a well rounded Philadelphia Eagles team tonight is there any way they could find the way to win the game by one point I'm glad you asked because I can see away oh my goodness gracious because back in week one the the Indianapolis Colts were down twenty to three and that means the Texans are a good team that is right not only the Texans a good team Jalen Hurts is returning back home for the first time as a pro oh yeah that means probably saw a lot of family yesterday probably had some good uh Houston barbecue as well he's got the meat sweats he can't focus he can't lock in and then lose the game Jalen Hurts is the worst game of his life Davis Mills just does enough also also you're also underestimating and not mentioning it's a red out in Houston red helmets red jerseys that's going to get a little extra inspiration so that's that's a guaranteed touch line there so you're the meat sweats for Jalen Hurts minus touchdown extra touchdown for the Texans because of the red uh the red out I'm already looking at a 14 point swing just before you can get started here so upset is brewing you heard it here first we are going to drug test right now go to the bathroom take a cup urinate in the cup and we'll send it out and we got to drug test you I'm being chased by the red out by the way where did you come up with the meat sweats that's great you like that well I know what the meat sweats are trust me a man my size I've had the meat sweats in my life but where'd you come up with that theory top my head is he's going back I know Houston is I've never been but however they've had great barbecue I believe I don't think he's ever played in H-town so this is like your first time back in a very long time yeah but you know what happens they get in yesterday they get in late they at the hotel the family just comes over to the hotel you know they're bringing some goodies oh I don't know back in a while here's some ribs I don't know nice smoked brisket brisket or pork shoulder you know let's just get wild here some of the best mashed potatoes some of the best pecan pie I've ever had was actually in Houston maybe that's also there as well oh delicious we had some this morning man it's his pre-game meal Jaylen hurts could he set a seven course meal before the start of this game and there's no way he's losing this game to the Houston Texans if this is how the Eagles undefeated season just gets popped and you have the 72 dolphins or a bunch of pain in the asses anyway smoking cigars tonight and popping champagne I'll be stunned you know if that happens I'll just take off tomorrow and have you and have you host the show you can thank the good Houston barbecue for getting getting a win for the home team yeah that's not gonna happen when will the Eagles first lose you tell me when you think if you had to make a bet right now when they're first gonna lose they play the Texans tonight win for the Texans be serious for a second win for the eagles okay they play the commanders on Monday night football now man that that game now sucks I really wanted to see I know Carson Wentz went up against his old team and just got destroyed but that was in DC it was basically a home game for Philadelphia anyway but I wanted to see him in front of the Philly fans I really did like actually at Lincoln financial field that would actually open a site I didn't think about that that's a shame but I think commanders have a better chance to win like tell Heineken that said yeah Eagles win yeah I would agree take your Colts hat off for a second Colts will not win in that game okay although I will say if they were to win a game the rest like if they if you tell them right now they were they win one game the rest of the year see he's still the only I would bet you say it would probably the Eagles because that's the one game you're assuming they have no chance in Green Bay Thanksgiving weekend Sunday night football at the link Eagles I don't even know what the spread would be it's clearly a few weeks out that's at the link Thanksgiving weekend Sunday night football I would hammer the Eagles on that spread would it be higher than the bills spread of I believe it was what eleven and a half bills packers bills packers bills packers from last week yeah that got up to yeah I think it was eleven and a half and that was I believe the biggest underdog Aaron Rodgers ever been no that game have a chance to know that's like seven and a half interesting I would say that's like seven and a half eight probably Tennessee see games that show links one o'clock chance cuz Derek Henry but I'll go Eagles win they play the Giants twice will they lose either the Giants games I'll say yes what the hell division game play them tough show lost last year frankly Jalen Hurts had a horrendous game at MetLife Stadium end of the year got lucky to win that game okay so you have them losing the one at MetLife sure so then you have December 11th December 11th I have them beating Houston beating the commanders beating the Colts beating Green Bay beating Tennessee beating the Giants beating the Bears and they roll into a Saturday December 24th matchup Christmas against the Dallas Cowboys in Jerry's World and it happens in week 16 they are 14 and 0 going into week 16 and they lose that game to Dallas wow they'll beat the Saints they'll lose the Giants game the last game this season because it won't matter I think the Eagles going 15 and two wow that's crazy Jerry Jones is probably Super Bowl at that point they may raise a banner they may he may raise the Lombardi the fake Lombardi trophy will they lose three games this year I think they'll lose the game I haven't losing two how likely is it that they lose three games I think they'll lose three games like they're gonna need to drop one then in that stretch of Indianapolis Green Bay and Tennessee yes like the next two weeks not losing to Houston they're not losing I maybe we'll see when Chase Young comes back and I was activated so he has 21 days now to return so we'll see if he uh plays for the commanders this weekend um I'm not sure on the status of that but if it's not this weekend then it will be next week against the Eagles I don't know if that gives them a jolt but assuming that they lose to the Texans and the commanders they got to lose one to Indy Green Bay or Tennessee if they don't I really don't see a way that this team loses two games when do you think well like we just had the the undefeated conversation now we had it like a week ago but when do you think nationally this really starts to pick up steam because I pointed this out to you early on in the season that their schedule is soft when they started off three and oh I said this team's going to be a whole lot better than what people think because of how their schedule is and they have a really good roster when does the rest of the world have legitimate undefeated talk for the Philadelphia Eagles sitting here at seven and oh and there'll be eight and oh after tonight I'm trying to remember there was some when the steals were 11 and oh um a few years ago I think that's 2020 from that mistake yeah but no one actually thought they were gonna go undefeated right but the talk was there I will say if they get to like I would think Thanksgiving weekend if they get out of Thanksgiving weekend and that's one two three four more games and they're 11 and oh and then you look at the schedule the rest of the way Tennessee the Giants twice Chicago Dallas and New Orleans you because because Belichick says it all the time football really doesn't start you really don't learn about your team until after Thanksgiving if you're undefeated after Thanksgiving 11 and oh you got to start having the conversation each and every game going into it it's going to be oh can they continue their undefeated season like now if they say it tonight the broadcast can the Eagles continue to be undefeated it doesn't have the same kind of feeling as if you're after Thanksgiving that's kind of where I draw my line in the sand there after Thanksgiving I think the rest of the world catches on that there is a possibility Eagles go undefeated but I'm gonna say they have two losses that's that Packers game Sunday Night Football is that right uh-huh isolated window I think it's against a good you know Packers team I'll proceed to you know you just dumped all over the glass hour but okay people say oh Aaron Rodgers wow the Eagles are like actually yes that would go you said 11 right yeah I would agree that I think it's fair because that's kind of like the one game where everyone's going to start going oh wow Eagles are 11 and oh can they do it it could also pick up a little bit about against the commanders on Monday Night Football because what else are they going to talk about that's is that next weekend two weeks um yeah the 14th so that's not this Monday night but next month and you're eight and oh by that point no it'd be nine and I don't know I don't think it just because of the opponent there's nothing sexy about the commanders nothing sexy whatsoever so I really do think if they get through Thanksgiving undefeated which they should Texans commanders Colts Packers undefeated watching in Philadelphia zone which is why I thought they were gonna win the NFC East this year I said that right at the draft I never thought we were gonna have a legit undefeated conversation before this season did commence about the Philadelphia Eagles so your guess is is the um is the Giants game on December 11th Giants game okay Saikron he stole me a dinner by the way he's loving to pay for my my dinner well you let me know it's up to you whatever you want your dinner just tell me I have to now track you down I'm trying to think of make a bet this way I'm here I have to track you down you're acting like I'm just a known man you to pay for my meal that works you know remotely or you can't find me I'm here yeah but I was already a nice guy took one of the dinners off the board because you owe me two and now we're sitting here and you still haven't got me one and this is now moving close to like six months again just tell me wait like I don't see I've been saying this every time tell me when you want the dinner and it'll be a lot of times oh I'm ordering dinner oh yeah crickets crickets tell me I don't see what the big deal is I think I got your tongue when you can't say hey get my attack excuse me first off number one you're the one that owes me the meal you want to know when you want to say Zach I'm getting you the meal tonight you're hungry good I'm gonna get it well if you're not hungry but each and
