Should Transvestite Men be allowed to Compete in Women's Sports?

It's important for us to know what the Bible says, what we believe, and why we believe it. And as Christians, that belief system comes for the Bible. And we want to develop a biblical worldview. Well, a worldview is just the lens through which we see the world. And as Christians, the lens through which we see the world needs to be the Bible. Which is God's Holy Word. It is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. Every word of it is true.

And it's either all true or none of it's true. And that's part of the problem in society today is people like to pick and choose what they think is and is not true in the Word of God. But we're going to talk about an issue today that is a controversial issue. I'm sure that I'm going to be labeled and banned and probably knocked off of Twitter and maybe Facebook and others for the things we're going to talk about, but it's an issue that needs to be talked about because most pastors in America today never address issues like transgenderism. Like George Barna, who is a Christian pollster, did a survey a while back that said, of the people that profess to be evangelical pastors, only 10% of them ever address the issues that we are addressing in the culture today from the pulpit. And most Christians never read their Bible, and very few read it on a daily basis. So if people don't read their Bible and they only go to church once in a while, Barna also found that those that are considered faithful churchgoers only attend one in every three Sundays. If you don't read your Bible, you only go to church one in three Sundays, and you have a pastor like 90% of Americans do who never address issues in the culture, how are you going to know what God's Word says on issues?

And if you don't know, then you're going to fall prey to the brainwashing that is taking place in our society today to try to make everybody think that transgenderism is perfectly normal and fine. The Bible tells us Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation. That's why prophecy is all throughout the Bible, and God tells us that in the end times it's going to be like the days of Noah. And one of the traits of the days of Noah was a great sexual perversion that was taking place in society at that time, and it's happening in America, and because of what's happening in America, it's happening around the world today. But just last week, USA Today, which is a national newspaper, a big newspaper, named their annual woman of the year.

Well, I've got heartburn with this, okay? I've got a wife, a mother, a daughter, thousands of years women fought for equal rights, and in our country for hundreds of years, they have the right to vote, to be recognized, to be able to compete in their own athletic events, and they didn't do it so they could compete against men or that men would be recognized over them. And certainly when someone created a woman of the year, it was to honor a woman. Well, just last week, USA Today, named the former Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, after he calls himself Rachel Levin, was recognized as the Woman of the Year. Now let me tell you who this is.

Levin became the highest ranking openly transgender official in the President's Administration when President Biden appointed him as the Assistant Secretary of Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2021. He's 64 years old. All right, now, yes, I did call him him because biologically, if you tested his blood, he would be a man.

So go ahead and get mad at me. I don't care. He is a biological male.

Now, I guess he's had surgery or whatever he did to cut off certain parts of his body, but you cut off anything you want. It doesn't change who or what you are. Now, my heartburn with this issue is there are women all over the world, in my opinion, that are much better deserving than this transgender man who is parading around as a woman.

And this is all an attempt just to brainwash us, folks. What about the great women who are nurses and health care workers and radiologists, doctors, physicians and surgeons that got us through this COVID pandemic? What about all of them? What about women who are stay-at-home mothers and have multiple children? Just recently, we celebrated National Down Syndrome Day.

What about women who are mothers of children with Down syndrome? There are so many issues where we can honor a woman for the great things they've done. There are great women CEOs across the world. There are women in the military who are on the front lines for us right now around the world who are putting their life on the line for us each and every day. But the USA Today newspaper thought it was more important to make a political statement, and that's all this is.

You know, it's great to be an assistant secretary of any organization in the administration. That alone does not distinguish you from being the woman of the year. The only reason this man is named woman of the year is because USA Today has tried to send a message that sexual perversion is okay. Sexual perversion, homosexuality used to be a crime.

It's definitely a sin, and God's word. But they started normalizing it, letting people see transgender running around. Now we have drag queen story hours. You want to have a woman of the year?

Have a woman of the year. They don't get recognized enough, and then we're going to steal another thing away from them? And then we're going to jump into what's really... Now, before I get into this, and I am going to get worked up today, y'all, you just need to be prepared, and you need to be ready. Before we get into all this, I want you to know that God loves everybody, okay? So don't twist anything that I'm saying today. God loves transgender people. He loves homosexual people. He loves straight people. He loves people of all color, creeds, and races.

That subject is the subject of transgenderism. Why was a man named by USA Today, a biological man, as Woman of the Year just a week ago? Why are men competing in the Olympics and parading around as women? Why is there a swimmer right now who is breaking all kinds of swimming records who is not a female? Why is it okay to allow transgender men, biological men, to compete against women when we work so hard to protect women's rights in this country today?

Okay, we need to understand it's wrong, and we need to understand, more importantly, not what Chris Hughes says about it, but what does the Bible say about this issue, and we're going to get into that in just a little while. First, I want to tell you, maybe you're listening and you don't know exactly what it means to be transgender. Well, by definition, transgender is really an umbrella term, and it's used to describe anyone whose identity or behavior, okay, identity or behavior falls outside of stereotypical gender norms. So, to more narrowly define it, it refers to individuals whose gender identity does not match their assigned birth gender.

What does it mean? They might be born a man, but they feel like they're a woman, or they might be born a woman and feel like they are a man. So, what they're calling assigned gender is what they truly are.

If you check their blood or DNA, it's what their gender truly is, and then their identity is just how they feel. That's a big problem in society today. We don't have truth anymore. We just want to go with what people feel, and our feelings are not the truth.

The Bible says, what Jesus said in the Bible, on the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me. The Bible, that's why they hate the Bible. That's why they want to make the Bible. And I'm telling you, Christians, you can say what you want.

That's what they're after. They want to make the Bible hate speech. They've done this in England, they've done it in Canada, and they want to do it in the United States to say that the Bible is hate speech, and that pastors will not be able to legally preach the entire Word of God, particularly when it comes to identifying sin. Not that many of those spineless pastors ever identify sin anymore, or even talk about sin. And when's the last time you heard a message on hell? Goodness, hell is real. If you don't believe in it, it doesn't matter. You're still going there.

Hell is real, and it's a place of eternal torment and damnation, and it's where anyone will go who rejects the saving grace of Jesus Christ. But anyway, being transgender does not imply any specific sexual orientation, meaning they can be attracted to people of either gender. Transgender people may additionally identify as straight, gay, lesbian, or bisexual. And I don't know if that confuses you, but it sure confuses the daylights out of me. For example, to see a man pretending to be a woman, but then dating a man and not identifying as a homosexual. I don't get it, y'all.

I don't get it. Anyway, so that's what it means to be transgender. So when it comes to sports and the Olympics, what's happened? Well, in a system that segregates athletic competition by sex for reasons of fairness, where do transgender athletes fit in? Well, the International Olympic Committee, it's also, if you refer on the news, it's called the IOC, which stands for International Olympic Committee, thought they settled the issue of transgenderism in athletics back in 2004, and they released a set of rules for under what circumstances transgender athletes compete in a sport that is other than their biological sex. So if you were born a man, if you wanted to compete as a woman, or if you were born as a woman and want to compete as a man, these are the rules you would have to follow in order to do it. So the International Olympic Committee rules really boil down to three basic points.

Here they are. Transgender athletes must have had gender assignment surgery. They must have legal recognition of their assigned gender, and they must have at least two years of hormone therapy.

Okay, so let me go over that again. In 2004, the Olympic Committee said that basically if a man wants to compete as a woman, he would have had to have had two years of hormone therapy, meaning taking drugs to reduce his testosterone, which is supposedly in their minds going to make him less competitive and able to compete against women on a level playing field, but that's just ridiculous. When you have some men that are seven feet tall and can play basketball, like the current guy who is winning all the swimming competitions, he's over six feet tall. Most women are not over six feet tall. He's got a bigger bone structure. He's got bigger hands. You can't change any of that through hormone therapy or through cutting off certain parts of his body.

It just doesn't happen. But given these conditions, the International Olympic Committee no longer considered being a transgender an unfair advantage for those athletes, those men that are competing as women. So that was in 2004. In 2011, the NCAA, which is the organization that oversees college athletes, instituted really less stringent guidelines. They don't require surgery. They only require one year of testosterone suppression for male to female gender athletes.

So you see the difference. You can still have all your body parts, claim you're a woman, go to women's showers and compete against other women in athletics, which is exactly what's happening today in college campuses across the country. And all they have to do is take testosterone suppression drugs for one year. Y'all, that's just wrong.

How in the world can a woman compete against a man in some of these athletic events? You know, I find it offensive. I said it a while ago. I've got a mother. I've got a daughter. I don't... I've got a wife. I don't want some man.

What they want... There's already been a proven case in Virginia where at least twice one of these so-called transgenders, who was a man, a boy at high schools, went into these girls' bathrooms and raped girls. A man is a man, and I don't want his private parts or anything else hanging out or showing around. And again, I'm getting controversial here when my wife, mother, or daughter, or your wife, mother, or daughter are in a public bathroom. My wife was a very accomplished athlete. She was a three-time All-American, two-time All-World softball player. She played tennis. She played five different sports. But she would not have been as competitive if she had to compete against a man. It's not fair for women. Women need a right and the opportunity to be recognized for their own successes and in their own competitions. Why can't transgenders just compete against transgenders? You want to be in the Olympics? Fine. I don't care if you're in the Olympics.

You want to be recognized for the hours of work you put in? I'm totally fine with that. What I'm not fine with is men competing with women and why they pretend to be a woman. A lot of this brainwashing really started... Who was it? Renee Richards back when I was a kid was a tennis player. He was a man. He was a doctor. He supposedly went through the gender reassignment surgery, and then he was a professional tennis player, and then he became eligible to play in women's competition in tennis. And he really started it.

But then it really geared up again a few years ago with the real brainwashing that's taking place today with a guy named Bruce Jenner. You may remember years ago, Bruce Jenner was a decathlete, which is a competition in the Olympics that he was really great at his athletics. He was described to be the world's greatest athlete. I think he was one of, if not the first athlete to ever be on a Wheaties cereal box.

I don't know if they still do that today, but back then it was a big deal. Wheaties would always get a great athletic champion to be on the box of their cereal. It made kids and others want to buy, and Wheaties thinking they would be like that athlete. Well, Bruce Jenner was that athlete. He was a great gold medalist.

He was really seen almost like an American hero. And then just a while back, he decided that he wanted to be a woman. And he was connected to the Kardashians, which is a famous TV show, so that gave him a lot of fame. And he went through the process to begin transitioning to having a female body. And then to push matters even further, Bruce Jenner ran for governor of California when Gavin Newsom was, when there was a recall movement to try to remove Gavin Newsom, which was not successful. But Bruce Jenner not only ran as a woman, but as a Republican woman, of all things. I think that was just done as a slap in the face, in my opinion, to the Republican Party and to the Christians that are in the Republican Party. But Bruce Jenner has become the great face of the transgender movement today and got a lot of attention because of how famous he was when he started the transition to having a female body and hormones and whatever surgery he did or did not have, I don't know.

But he's still a very outspoken person. You would think that Bruce Jenner would not want to do all this. I mean, why do you have to make such a statement of it? And why in the world are you trying to help men compete against women in athletics?

It's just wrong. Then in June of 2021, in the opening games of the Tokyo Olympics, remember, that was just a year ago, the Olympic games. I know I was so mad because there were men competing as women in the Olympics, and I just think that's wrong. And a man posing as a woman competed on the Canadian women's soccer team for the first event of that Olympics. And there's a man on the women's soccer team in Canada who claims to be a woman, and he goes by the name of Quinn. He became the first openly transgender athlete to participate in the Olympics when they started on a Wednesday night in Canada's one-to-one draw game with Japan. Quinn also played professional soccer in a women's soccer league and is not only a transgender athlete, but also participated in the Tokyo games. To me, this is just wrong.

There was a transgender cyclist as a reserve competitor in the U.S. women's freestyle team, freestyle BMX team. Y'all, there are problems with this. Now let's take a break, and we're going to come back and talk more about what's happening with this athletics, and then we're going to delve into what God's Word has to say about it. Welcome back to The Christian Perspective. This is Chris Hughes. Today we're talking about a very controversial issue. We're talking about transgender athletes, basically men who cannot compete as men in athletics, now competing as women in athletic events, not only in the Olympics, but particularly now in Division I athletics in the country. We're talking about the International Olympic Committee, and they've allowed transgender athletes to participate since 2004 in one shape or another, but none really openly did so until this past year in Japan.

As I mentioned, someone who goes by the name of Quinn was a soccer player on the women's soccer team in Canada, and that was the first time. There are others now who have competed in the Olympics that are transgenders. They allow women to compete on these Olympic levels against men transgender who have turned into women to compete, and I just think it's wrong.

I don't understand why we're allowing this to happen in our country today. Back in the old days, the transgender athletes needed to have what they called bottom surgery to compete, meaning I think they mean sexual reassignment surgery. I'm not really sure what that means, but I think it means transforming the genitalia, which is usually during the late stages of the transformation. But since 2015, the International Olympic Committee has announced it's no longer the case. In order to compete today, here's what you need today. Just like Division I athletics, you need to have low testosterone levels for 12 months and declare a chosen gender legally for at least four years.

That's all. Well, Division I athletes don't even have to declare legally a gender change for four years. They just need to have hormone therapy for a year. So that's what's happened in the Olympics. I want to transition a little bit and talk about what's happening in swimming. So, you know, right now this makes national news just about every week because there's a guy who is on the University of Pennsylvania swimming team who calls himself Leah Thomas. Now, this guy used to be on the men's swim team, and in 2019 he began to transition, whatever that means. Nobody knows if he's had surgery. To me it really doesn't matter if he's had surgery or not. He's still a guy. He's still got the bone structure and the height.

He's over six feet tall. He was ranked way into the 400s in men of the world. He was not an outstanding swimmer. He was not that good of a swimmer. He was never going to win championships and titles, and now he's breaking every title that's out there because he's joined the women's team. And, y'all, it's not fair. It's not fair to women, other female athletes who, you know, got up at three or four in the morning their entire life and went and worked out and went to the pools when nobody else was in the pools and trained to be ready to compete against other women who would now have world records, who would now be national champions, who would be Olympic champions if it wasn't for a band claiming to be a woman competing, who could not compete against other men. There I said it.

I'm going to make people mad. This guy was not competitive on that level, on the Division I level. Now, certainly he could swim better than me, but he was not competitive on a Division I level as a swimmer. But yet the University of Pennsylvania lets him compete, and he's broken all kinds of Ivy League records in the 500-yard freestyle. He's won records. I think he shattered Penn State's female swimming records in the 200 and 500 freestyle in different meets against Cornell and Princeton.

It's crazy. This is a 24-year-old man. His name before was Will Thomas. Now he's changed his name to Leah Thomas. He wasn't that good as a male athlete.

Thomas would have placed 14th rather than first when he was competing in men back in November in just a local meet in the 100-yard freestyle. But then things changed, and Will Thomas decided he wanted to be a woman, start calling himself Leah Thomas, and he's now competing against women, and he's breaking all kinds of records in women's athletics. And NCAA, y'all, is endorsing the transgender movement.

They're okay with male-bodied athletes on women's collegiate sport teams. They're all the time saying, follow the science. Listen, the science tells us that biological males who've already undergone male puberty maintain an unfair athletic advantage over biological females. Okay, you want to follow the science?

Follow the science. Biological males have a competitive advantage over biological females, and it's wrong that men should be allowed to compete with women in female athletics. Independent Women's Law Center explains that men, that grown men have bigger lungs, all right, bigger hearts, thus they can pump blood through their body and oxygen through their body better, and they have a greater aerobic lung capacity for swimming. Well, this guy's got bigger than normal lung and hearts because he's over six feet tall, competing against women. The scientists also said they have larger skeletal structures than women, including what they call wingspans, which are critical to swimming, something that testosterone blockers can't significantly alter.

Okay? So the women's sports organization needs to listen to this study of Independent Women's Law Center that shows that while hormone therapy can reduce muscle size and sub-strength, it will not reduce it to female levels. You're not going to be able to reduce a guy that's over six feet tall. You're not going to be able to reduce his bone structure.

You're not going to be able to reduce him having a larger heart or his lung capacity, which in swimming, I mean, goodness, if he can hold his breath longer, just think the advantage he's having in a swimming pool against women who don't have lungs large enough to hold their breath as long. Is this fair? No, it is not fair. And most Americans agree it is time for us to stand up and defend women in sports. A recent Gallup poll said that 62%, including 63% of independents, believe that transgender athletes should compete in sports that match their birth sex. Only 34% of responders said trans athletes should be allowed to play on sports teams by matching their transgender identity. So Americans shifted in favor of government-sanctioned gay marriage or increasingly tolerant of LGBT issues. You know, for millions, it's a basic fairness for people who've suffered what they think discrimination and persecution, but today they've taken what they saw as discrimination and persecution and they're turning it against women.

Y'all, this is not right. Remember that 49 years ago, women fought for the right to compete in athletics and the opportunity to compete against other women and to be recognized and to have more sports named as Division I sports. They wanted to be able to have more sports in the Olympics where women could just compete against women. And something called Title IX was passed. Yeah, that's been 49 years since Title IX passed.

So for 49 years, we've had the opportunity after hundreds, even thousands of years on this earth of women wanting to fight for rights and to be protected in their rights. And then we're throwing that out the window because we want to push this transgender agenda on our country. And it's all a brainwashing, folks.

It's trying to create a sexual dependency that opens the door for child abuse and abuse of women and so many other things that are going on in our society today. And we as Christians need to see that this is wrong. Can we be born in the wrong body?

No. God doesn't make mistakes. God had you born exactly the way that God wants you to be born. And having a sex change operation or hormone therapy is not going to change your sex.

You are what you are. I just read to you a scientific study that says the lung capacity in the heart are still the same. You know what? If they draw blood of these guys, their DNA is still going to show that they are biological males. But yet we have this push on TV to push transgenderism. There are movies now that have transgender stars because they're just trying to normalize it in our society under the common sexuality education curriculum that President Biden first started under President Obama.

President Trump did away with it. And now President Biden has brought it into our country and our school system and is pushing it through Planned Parenthood and countries across the world where they're trying to teach kids that it's okay to be transgender at a very early age. They're asking five- and six-year-olds to choose what their gender is. Listen, folks, our brains, okay, we always sure during COVID we wanted to say, follow the science.

Well, let's follow the science today. The science says that a child's brain is not fully developed until after the age of 25 years. So how can you tell me a five- and six-year-old has the ability to determine what their sex is? They don't even know what sex is.

This is nonsense. They just see some guy dressed up in a princess costume, think it's cool, so they say they want to identify as that person because they came and read storybooks to them in their class. And teachers are pushing on them, and there are laws all over the country right now.

This is why these elections in 2022 are so important. There are state legislatures and school boards who have told teachers and school administrators that they can ask kids how they identify. There are even cases where kids are going to school and changing clothes, getting clothes out of the locker, and guys are dressing as girls, but those teachers are forbidden by law to tell the parents how they are. There's places in Oregon where hormone treatments are being handed out to students at school without their parents' permission.

There's even cases where it looks like there might have been possible cases where certain sex change operations were being allowed, again, without the approval or authority of parents. This is wrong. Our children are our children. It is up to us to take a stand and put an end to this nonsense around the world today.

We need to get educated on these issues, and we need to elect godly men and women to public office. Yes, I'm fired up. Get mad at me. Send e-mails. I'm telling you, homosexuality, transgenderism, all of this is an attempt to change our society radically with their radical agendas. Here, y'all go ahead and e-mail me. I don't care. We're going to stick around.

I'm Chris Hughes. We're talking about a very controversial topic today. We're talking about transgenderism in female sports, how men are competing, and not just Division I athletics, but maybe on your local Little League team or your local swimming team or your local tennis team across the country, where kids who, in most cases, it's guys who cannot compete against other guys on a level playing field and be successful. So they take their big bodies, their big bone structure, their big lung capacity, their big hearts, and the ability to pump and circulate blood, and they are transferring that over and becoming women athletes so they can win all these accolades.

There's been a lot of famous ones. There's Quinn, who was a soccer player, the first openly transgender to compete in the Olympics for Canada. There was a weightlifter in the Olympics that was a man competing as a woman.

Y'all, there's no way that that's a fair competition with the bone structure and strength of a man to compete at a female weightlifting competition. You've got the great publicity from Bruce Jenner, who was at one time considered the world's greatest athlete a former gold medal decathlon winner from the Olympics and has now transitioned as a woman, and parading around as a woman is on the news all the time and all these other shows, just making it look so glorious and glamorous to change your sex and become a woman. And now, just a week ago, we had the USA Today named a man as their Woman of the Year, a biological man. By the way, I want to give a shout-out to our friends at Babylon Bee. If you're familiar with Babylon Bee, Babylon Bee is a satire news agency. They publish jokes that's meant to be funny.

It's not the truth when they print it. And so the same guy that was named by USA Today as the Woman of the Year, Babylon Bee, just about a week ago, named this same character to be the Man of the Year for Babylon Bee. You know what happened? Twitter banned them. What happened to free speech?

Just because Babylon Bee, who says that they are a satire organization and they do parodies and it's never the truth what they say, they're open about that, they are banned from Twitter because they said that Dr. Rachel Levin, who is the Assistant Secretary of Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that was appointed in 2021 by President Biden, is their Man of the Year. Well, he is a man. He's a biological man. If you didn't know who he was, all you had was a blood test.

If you were at a crime scene and there was blood there, you know what you're going to say? A man committed this crime. And Babylon Bee said that he was our Man of the Year and now Twitter has banned them and not allowed them to have an account on Twitter anymore.

Y'all, this is crazy. They want free and open speech when it comes to them. They don't care that they offend us as Christians. God's Word says this is a sin. Okay, and then we're going to get into that. What does the Bible say on these issues?

Let's talk about it for a minute. So I'm going to read, I usually read King James, but I found some verses that for some of you who are listening, they aren't familiar with the Bible and say that you shouldn't use the old language. Well, that's the language I use, but I'm going to use it. Read down the ESV so it should be very easy to understand. 1 Corinthians 14, 33 says, For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace.

Well, how does that apply here? Well, a big part of this is these transgenders are saying that they're confused. Y'all have had confusion my whole life. I felt like I was a girl in a boy's body. I felt like I was a boy in a girl's body. And I've just been confused about who I am.

I want to tell you that that's a demonic influence. We are not to be confused. God didn't create us to live in a spirit at a time of confusion. So 1 Corinthians 14, 33 says, For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. How about Deuteronomy 22, 5? And I know that some people say, well, you should look at the Old Testament. Well, I just read you a verse from the New Testament, but I believe in the Old Testament, too. The Bible is the entire word of God. It's the inspired word of God. It's either all true or not true.

You don't pick and choose, and you need to read things in context. But Deuteronomy 22, 5 says, A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God. Well, what do you think that transgender transition is? First, they start off by changing clothes. A man dresses as a woman.

A woman dresses as a man. I mean, you can almost always identify particularly the women. They have that look, and I'm not trying to be mean here, but the term butch, where they have the same haircut. You look at them. You can see. You can know.

Unfortunately, today, many of the men, and I've now seen who become women, and even women who become men, I would hate to know that as dating today's society, some of them are very, very attractive in their new respective sexual identities, and you can't tell. That's confusing. But Deuteronomy 22, 5 says, A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak. For whoever does these things, what does it say, is an abomination to the Lord your God. So you want to develop a biblical perspective, Christian perspective, there you go. Genesis 1.27, again, this isn't Chris Hughes talking, okay? I shared my opinion, but now we're looking at what God's Word says, and that's really all that matters.

It doesn't matter what I say. What does God say? Genesis 1.27 says, So God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him. Male and female, he created them. Right?

Do you get that? Male and female, he created them. Leviticus 18.22 says, You shall not lie with a male as a woman. It is an abomination.

And that deals not only with all those identities as well. Matthew 19.12 says, For there are eunuchs, and eunuchs were basically men who had been castrated, there are eunuchs who have been sown from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven, that the one who is able to receive this, receive it. Matthew 19.

You can really read the whole thing, 1 through 30. I'm not going to, but it says, Now when Jesus had finished his things, he went away from Galilee and entered into the region of Judea, beyond Jordan, and large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. And the Pharisees said unto him and tested him, Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause? And he answered, Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female? Therefore a man shall leave his wife and his mother, and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Well, how does this apply to transgender? Well, a lot of them are changing their sexes, or pretending to change their sex, and they're marrying somebody who's really of the same biological sex event. And even Jesus said that God did not tend that.

God created us male and female, and that's how we're to get married. Romans 1.18 says, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness. And I'm telling you that transgenderism is ungodliness.

It is sexual perversion. It has been seen so by the world from the creation of time until the last 50 years or so. And the Bible says, And unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly perceived ever since the creation of the world and the things that have been made. So they are without excuse, for although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him. But they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools. So that's what it's saying right now, is that men, meaning mankind, men and women, away from God in their sin have become unrighteous in this world, and they think that they've become wiser than God, and God's saying in reality what they have become is fools. Leviticus 20-13 says, I think we read this, If a man lies with a woman, excuse me, if a man lies with a male is with a woman. If a man lies with a male is with a woman, both of them have committed abomination and shall be surely put to death, their blood is upon them.

Excuse me, Genesis 5-2 says, Male and female he created them, meaning God, and he blessed them and named them man when they were created. 1 Corinthians 6-9, back to the New Testament. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, either the sexually immoral, nor adulterers, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ by the Spirit of our God.

Very clear. 1 Corinthians 6 verses 9-11. So those who argue that the New Testament does not address these issues, I just read it to you.

We need to develop a biblical perspective. But does that mean that there's no hope for these people? No. Does that mean that we should not love them?

No. We need to love them and we need to love them so much that in a loving and caring way with them we share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Homosexuality, transgenderism, adultery, a fornication, all those things are sins, just like lying, cheating, stealing, bad thoughts and things that each and every one of us do every day. Every one of us.

Yes, even me. We all sin every single day. No sin is greater than any other sin. Sin separates us from God. The Bible tells us in Romans 3.23 that all of us have sinned. But Romans 6.23 tells us that because we sin we deserve to die suspended in eternity in hell.

But John 3.16 tells us that God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die on a cross as a payment for your sin and mine. And y'all, if you're listening here today, it might be hard for you if you feel like you have that confusion. But I want to ask you to turn that confusion over to the Lord. You can change.

You don't have to act. Fornication is a classification of sins. It might be in my nature to want to go commit adultery or do something that's not faithful to my wife, but I don't have to act on that. And even if you have same-sex urges, you don't have to act on those same-sex urges because God has said that it is wrong. And I want to tell you that you can find a peace unlike any you've ever known before if you just turn to God. There's a great book by my friend Christopher Ewan called Holy Sexuality. He was a practicing homosexual for many, many years.

I encourage you to get that. And my transgender listeners, go get Holy Sexuality by Christopher Ewan and read how God radically transformed his life and changed him. It's been a controversial show today. It's a difficult subject.
