Did you ever wonder? Did you ever wonder?

I do. Did you ever wonder? Why the sun always rises, but the stars never fall?

Why dry land is never satisfied by water? And why fire never says enough? Well, depending on how you want to say that. And so, we talked about the eagle head and we've talked about the lion head, but there's two other heads that we need to talk about. The one is translated in most Bibles as a man, but actually, they use the word Adam or Adam in Hebrew, which is really significant when you think about one of these heads, and the other one being the ox. So, we talked about this a little bit in one of the episodes that can you even imagine stepping into the pen of a very large bull with horns and all that, and you get a sense of the headship of this ox, and how cool it is that you would have this ox on your left hand side. When you think about where the different animals, including man, are, is that when you face the living creature, you're seeing the man, but on your left side, kind of like the blind side, if you ever watched that movie, The Blind Side, here you have this ox. Like, the way I picture it is, this is a completely defensive creature. You're not going to go attack with an ox, but believe me, if somebody comes after an ox, it's going to go very bad for them. You have this eagle watching your back, so to speak, which we talked about in the first episode.

Of course, if you're going to attack with something, you'd certainly want to attack with a lion, because of the creatures that you have there, or maybe you'd want to attack with an eagle, but no doubt the lion would be something amazing to attack with. The word ox in Hebrew, it starts with a shin, which we've talked about before, something that is oxidizing something, or a tooth, or when you think of an ox, they do a lot of chewing, so it's not too unusual that it's chewing. And then it's got avov, which is essentially Jacob's ladder, something that's coming down from heaven, and then a reish, which again we've talked about before.

It means head, but it also means spirit very much. And so, you know, you don't have to look at an ox or be in a pen with an ox very long to realize who's in charge there. And so, you know, I think it's really cool that that's one of those. But the other one that I certainly want to talk about is Adam, or Adam, right? And so when we look at that word, I think it's absolutely cool that Adam was made from the dust of the ground, and that dust of the ground is Adamah. It's the same word, it's just got a hay on the end of it.

And so this is, like we talked about, very special dust. So unlike the other three creatures that this animal has heads of, Adam does not have a reish in it, so it doesn't have this idea of head, but it does have an aleph, and it starts, you know, with, you know, sort of like this idea of the alpha, which we talked about many times, the father, you know, the word father is Abba, so you hear that ah sound which starts with Adam. And, you know, it's just a beautiful concept of the father reaching down through the torrid and the man reaching up. And this is, you know, first and foremost, and the one that actually the creature that's facing you has this face of Adam. And then the second letter is a Dalet, which means a servant, and of course, you know, there's no doubt that when we're in Christ we always want to help.

I mean that Dalet is also a door, and there are so many different doors, especially when you think about the Passover and throughout the Bible, that this is just a beautiful letter, and very much a part of who Adam is. The last letter is you won't find, in the animal names I've studied, you don't see another animal that has a Mem in its name, but you do find the Mem in Adam. And so a Mem, as we've talked about many times, is synonymous with water, but it's also synonymous with the Torah from the way the Jews teach. So you find it at the end of a word, you hear that M sound like you hear in peace, Shalom, I'm sure you've heard that word.

Well, think how much the Torah, or the word of God, has to do with peace. And you realize inside of Adam, what was originally designed inside of Adam, was not only water, clearly we all have plenty of water in us, but in the case of man, the one place where God can write his law on your heart. And so this face of Adam, this alpha that is the face that's facing of the cherubim, not only has clearly this element of God the Father, but it also has the Mem, which is very synonymous with Jesus, because the word Messiah starts with it, but it also is synonymous with the word itself. And so the fact that we have Jesus in us in so many different ways is one of the coolest things about these cherubim is they face you, you are getting the face of a man or the image, because right, we were made in his image, the image of God. Something to wonder about today on Bible Wonders.
