President Trump is doing what Joe Biden never could and Kamala never would: He's negotiating directly with Vladimir Putin to end the Ukraine war. Charlie gives the details on Tuesday's Trump/Putin phone call, then talks to Pastor Jentezen Franklin about America's "crisis of opportunity" which calls for Christian preachers to step up on the most important issues of the day before we miss a once-in-a-generation chance to reclaim America.

It's a topic that has really been weighing on me which is the Muhammadism that is growing in the West and I don't think Christians and conservatives I don't think that we are really prepared to confront the rise of cultural Islam which is the rise of political Islam. Way too much attention by the way goes towards the radical Islamist groups not in a bad way I mean obviously the ones that are beheading Christians and the Houthis and it's terrible I mean no one supports that well I'm talking about something completely different I'm talking about cultural Islam I'm talking about the slow subtle suicide of the West we're going to ask Andrew Sedra who has been speaking out against Islam in Australia is Islam compatible with Western civilization it's a very serious question and I'm not attacking individual Muslims of course we all know individual Muslims that are good people and they act fine that's not the is the ideology compatible is it oil and vinegar are they going to be able to fit together it's a very simple question I can say right now leftism and Western civilization are incompatible it's not they they are incompatible leftism and the West cannot co-exist one has to win either the left or the West one one of the that it is very simple it is a binary Islam is not the faith of Western civilization there is a reason that America was born from a Christian heritage it never could have been born from Muslim heritage we're going to explore that in a second Blake did a great job summarizing this thank you Blake for going through the Russian stuff it's actually the call has not yet been translated here's what we know um we know first that Putin made Trump wait of course obviously I'm a big strong man because I'm black okay sit down I mean whatever typical diplomatic nonsense honestly good for president this is very important though this shows the magnanimity of president Trump you know he gets shown on television as being impulsive and having no patience and president Trump could have canceled the phone call because obviously president Trump is the statesman here but president Trump understood what Putin was doing it's an old kind of diplomatic Russian tactic on by the way he did the same thing to Tucker Carlson he made Tucker wait two and a half hours for him when he went to interview him in the Kremlin anyway president Trump did the right thing and probably laughed about it oh you know Vlad thinks he's a real tough guy now he took the high road he deserves credit for it well done president Trump the call lasted more than 90 minutes so about 45 minutes of discussion if you account for the translation back and forth Dan Scavino at the White House claimed the call was going well it was ongoing a Russian government official said quote under the leadership of president Putin and president Trump the world has become a much safer place today that's a promising sign hopefully while Trump and Putin were on the call president Zelensky's chief of staff my goodness I'm telling you if there's one reason why this war won't end it's Zelensky I'm telling you this guy is getting in the way of it every what pot I'm losing patience anyway he said while while Trump and Putin were on the call president Zelensky's chief of staff stated that Ukraine's supposed red lines for peace saying that Ukraine won't accept a neutral status won't reduce their armed forces and won't recognize any Russian gains in Ukraine well okay but if a good peace deal is on the table Ukraine rejects it and then the consequences are on them uh yeah for the record I lost patience with Zelensky a long time ago but then I try to renew my patience of which that reserve gets depleted every time I look at him again so the situation is ongoing between Zelensky and Putin and Trump understand president Trump is here as the as the magnanimous statesman if he gets this done it is Nobel peace prize territory and I'm not just saying this hyperbolically if he gets this deal done and of course Crimea should be on the table absolutely Crimea should be on the table it was given symbolically by Nikita Khrushchev I believe that's that's correct in what 1954 as a gesture basically saying hey you know this is Russian Ukrainian harmony we're going to live together it's symbolic it was a gesture of 300 years of Russian Ukraine unity the what's the best example of this the best example would be if like we wrongly gave Mexico Texas something as silly as that like obviously Texas part of America it has Texans it's okay Blake says it would be even dumber than that okay give me an example like what give us giving them Ohio or us giving like Canada Ohio or something maybe that would that would be dumb as dumb I don't know what Blake means if that's dumber anyway point being is that the it would be like Michigan giving up the upper peninsula to Wisconsin okay got it that would be pretty dumb now did Biden ever try to de-escalate this conflict did Biden ever try to calm down the tensions and the pressures and the angst and the anxiety was there ever an attempt for mask mass de-escalation no we saw the opposite we saw a pressure campaign in fact a creation of a pressure cooker of armaments and the slow motion sleepwalking the barreling towards a potential hot nuclear war and if I may just speak candidly I actually feel better tonight about the future of the world that our countries are talking that our countries have actually some sort of channel we have learned that there was no diplomatic back channel between Russia and the United States Biden cut everything off which is just so unbelievably stupid it's so immature it's so imprudent for anybody to do that under any circumstance you should always have some way where you can even communicate with the enemy communicate with the enemy and then we forced Russia into the Chinese Communist Party orbit speaking of orbit by the way those astronauts are coming back thank you Elon Musk we are going to talk about that it's an amazing story it's a monumental story the Chinese Communist Party is the threat our entire foreign policy should be primarily focused on curtailing the rise of the Chinese Communist Party the ascension of the Maoists and that's what they are and insofar that you have this triangulation the new axis being created Iran with the Persians the Chinese Communist Party and potentially the Russians you had a big problem why would we hand over an element of the access and then you got the cartels which then operate as proxies of all of them to be able to then infect and poison our youth and invade our nation remember Russia was not a primary ally of the United States going into World War II it was only because of because of Hitler's megalomania that eventually Russia and Germany got at odds with one another and eventually we kind of found ourselves allied with the Soviet Union which by the way was the right right thing for us to do Russia lost millions of people we do not have to be in perpetual conflict with Russia you should write that down and commit it to memory I don't like Russia I don't think highly of their government they're not a free society it's run by a bunch of gangsters and thugs it's like if the mafia took over a country that's basically it they do have some rich culture that is worthy of appreciation and recognition like Tolstoy is a real thing Dostoevsky real thing Tchaikovsky real thing War and Peace real thing like that's real stuff real beauty real art worthy of recognition worthy of appreciation worthy of study so you can both those things can be simultaneously true but Washington only exists in the binaries Washington only exists of enemy friend good evil is sometimes it's far more nuanced than that and Russia has always operated in the gray by the way they are a very great country just to be honest they're aesthetically gray their mood is gray they're always depressed they're drinking themselves to sleep they're a very gray people and kind of more metaphorically and then more literally they seem to be and gray in foreign policies sometimes they're a friend sometimes they need to be kind of brushed off a little bit and Andrew says in the chat they are Europeans after all and it's it's I'd love to have Blake's take on that it's a little bit more complicated they have a lot of Euro influences but they're kind of their own thing they're definitely eastern Europe but it's their own identity very Slavic making America great again starts with making America healthy again Charlie Kirk here I lost 40 pounds with the PhD weight loss and nutrition program and two years later I haven't gained a pound back I started the PhD weight loss program because I need to be healthy to keep up with my crazy schedule most people start a weight loss program to get healthier so why is Big Pharma spending millions to convince you to use their weight loss injections that do just the opposite they have harmful side effects and lifelong dependency take a natural approach that isn't connected to a Big Pharma bottom line PhD changes the way you think about food they custom design a plan that is simple and works with your schedule you'll learn to quiet cravings and finally release the unhealthy belly fat you won't be hungry and you'll never take medication call 864-644-1900 to schedule your one-on-one consultation or visit my PhD weight loss dot com that is my PhD weight loss dot com 864-644-1900 we are here live at Free Chapel in Gainesville Georgia Pastor Jensen Franklin is with us thank you for collaborating with us here and for hosting us to be able to reach pastors and doing this together you're gonna be speaking here tonight what is the message you're gonna be delivering to these pastors well I'm going back and forth on on two different messages but basically I feel like that this is an opportunity of crisis almost a crisis of opportunity that that I feel like when when we saw a change in the administration and direction of our nation that we're not to kick back and sit back and relax now especially the body of Christ if we don't recognize you know where we're at and what the opportunities are that are incredible really I mean it's not it's not a negative thing it's a powerful thing but I feel like that some people just feel like well the election is over just unplug kick back relax and what you don't understand is if you kind of need to be like Joshua when he was winning and he said son stand still we won't get this moment back not every moment is an equal opportunity moment and if you don't seize it you could miss a generation and that's why I love what you do I remember the first time I saw you you were on a college campus and I said who in the world is this guy who's bold enough to do that who's crazy enough to do that who who can answer off the cuff the crazy things that people throw at you and your answers were like lightning you know I think it was Mark Twain said the difference between a word and the right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug and you seem to have lightning when you when you address a social issue because this bible you you go back to the basics it's all biblical that's it so I'm honored and we're honored to have you here thank you and I really appreciate that and I will receive the compliment that I'm probably crazy enough to go to these campuses so I will receive that and we had a great but you know our biggest campus event ever was in Athens Georgia no way it's 5,000 students so not far from here I'm not mistaken that yeah 30 minutes down the road amazing and so 40 so yeah it's just remarkable what you've built here and I agree that there is there is this moment of choosing for the American church right now and pastors in particular being tasked with their congregations have to decide how they are going to equip their body and their flock and some of the pastors that are coming here to this conference are currently not speaking out on the issues yeah and and that's why this conference is so important they're good men good good people good leaders sometimes you need encouragement from others I even thought about you know why did I ever get involved in this side of things and I was thinking about this the other day actually and I thought one after another of leaders in the generation of my generation the faith leaders stood up they didn't they it didn't matter what denomination they were in it didn't matter whether they were you know agreement agreeing on every doctrine or or every side thing you know that their flavor or whatever there were the basic roots of Jesus was born of a virgin he's God in skin he carried the cross my sins your sins died and rose again and his word is truth and let's teach this word and stand on it and that that needs to be that there needs to be that sometimes in a pastor's life you need a reaffirming you need you need a recommissioning of what are what am I here to do I'm salt I'm light and so that's what I'm praying happens here and I mean that sincerely I've been praying about this meeting I don't think it's a small thing when you can bring together 1600 pastors from different backgrounds and you know it's always this thing of you stay in your camp and I'll stay in my camp and you're you're this denomination or you're this and we believe this about that and when you don't we gotta at some point the the people being beheaded in Syria they don't care if you're Baptist or if you're Calvinist they're pre-trib or post-trib all they know is their brothers in Christ are standing there holding hands about to be beheaded and it's because they believe in Jesus Christ the only way the truth and the life so why can we not get together and be equipped from some of the greatest speakers in the world that that you know and and I don't I don't necessarily agree with every I've been to these you've you've been gracious to ask me to come I've been to these things um I don't agree with everything that said hold that thought but I get fed I love that private student loan debt in America totals over 300 billion dollars getting out of debt is the right move for you and your family why refi helps refinance distressed or defaulted private student loans that others will not touch why refi is not a debt settlement company and they work with each borrower individually tailoring each loan to each borrower's specific situation you will not be calling a faceless call center why refi does not care what your credit score is because of private student loan debt so many Americans feel stuck and helpless and they've even lost hope why refi gives you a light at the end of the tunnel it may not be available in all states and why refi offers a three-minute rate check without any credit impact they are phenomenal supporters of our program great supporters of turning point you don't have to ignore that mountain of student loan statements on your kitchen table anymore just call 888-YREFI34 or log on to yrefi.com that is yrefi.com can you imagine being debt free and not living under this burden anymore be unburdened by what has been but most importantly find a friend or family member that might have private student loan debt and go to yrefi.com pastor I'm gonna read uh here some breaking news and I want to kind of tie it into some biblical principles because blessed are the peacemakers as it says President Trump had a call with Vladimir Putin I'm going to read the entire press release here live on air it is uh breaking news it seems like it's a whole bunch of nothing but it's actually a very deep and promising development today President Trump and President Putin spoke about the need for peace and a ceasefire in the Ukraine war both leaders agreed this conflict needs to end with a lasting peace they also stressed the need for improved bilateral relations between the United States and Russia let me pause there were no bilateral relations when Joe Biden was president we were not even talking let me continue the blood and treasure that both Russia and Ukraine have been spending in this war would be better spent on the needs of their people let me pause Joe Biden ever refused he refused to ever count the Russian part of the war as part of a casualty meaning it was only the Ukrainian side both sides are human beings dying in this conflict both sides have families and both sides were needlessly going to war this conflict never should have started the White House writes and should have been ended long ago with sincere and good faith peace efforts the leaders agreed that the movement to peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire as well as technical negotiations on implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea which of course is right near Crimea in Crimea is in the Black Sea a full ceasefire and permanent peace these negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East so essentially Saudi Arabia Qatar wherever the leader spoke broadly more about the Middle East as a region of potential cooperation to prevent future conflicts they further discussed the need to stop proliferation of strategic weapons and will engage with others to ensure the broadest possible application the two leaders shared the view that Iran should never be in a position to destroy Israel that's an amazing development the two leaders agreed that a future with an improved bilateral relationship between the United States and Russia has a huge upside this includes enormous economic deals and geopolitical stability when peace has been achieved so we're still processing all this a lot here blessed are the peacemakers pastor oh there's no doubt about it and that that's what the president did his first administration no wars kept us out of wars yes kept peace in the earth America was so strong in leadership and militarily that our enemies were afraid and you know that's just a history course if you just go back in history that strength can prevent wars from even happening in the tragedy that we've seen with Russia and Ukraine I thank God that the president is trying to be a broker of peace and like you said that is that is this one of the beatitudes is blessed are the peacemakers and if anybody ever was a peacemaker it seems like he is gifted to do it because he's truly standing between the two he won't take that kind of makes people mad but I know Russia is an aggressor we all know Russia is is brutal and evil but they're also like you said they're people they're human beings and there's some wonderful people there yes and so we need to there's also some wonderful Christians that have been repressed there there's no question yeah no question and the same in the Ukraine and I think everybody wants peace and the I'm just praying that that he will that he will be able to make it happen because it's critical it's critical amen and so they mention in here Iran not getting a nuclear weapon so President Trump solving the Ukrainian Russia deal I think will be worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize if he can solve the Israel Gaza Hamas problem that'll be the I have I have never in all my years and I've followed this closely because I'm very passionate about America's relationship with Israel yes and I have never breaking news right here I have never heard the president of Russia say that Iran should be stopped from having nuclear weapons I think that I think that's breaking news the fact that he's smart enough to broker where he is in one major war and then grab one of those players that has massive influence over Iran and say you're going to work with me to bring peace to the Middle East is brilliant yes and it's and it's so beautiful because we know that when America stands with Israel Genesis 12 and 3 I will bless those that bless Israel I will curse those that curse Israel I'm so thankful for the way the president's standing with Israel and it's and President Trump is being very smart because you think about it Russia wants to have some negotiating power over Iran and if Iran gets a nuclear weapon they're going to lose some they're going to lose some of the leverage that they have are overrun Russia's not going to get rid of the nuclear weapons not possible they have more nuclear weapons than we do and so therefore Trump knows this he says okay one point of agreement we might have and it's also very good for Israel now I would not go as far to say that Russia is pro-Israel but they're not anti-Israel Russia has been a very complicated actor with Israel but they have donated money in the past it's it's been on both sides they built a church in Hebron as you might know like a Russian Orthodox Church and I would say neutral is probably the best way but it hopefully could invite a broader sentiment that America is here for peace while also standing by our allies such as Israel you know in in the region let's talk more broadly about Israel how should Christians and Americans think about our alliance with the state of Israel as a Christian you would have no Bible you would have no doctrine you would have no salvation even John 4 Jesus said salvation is of the Jews salvation is of the Jews meaning that without that Jewish connection we would not have the tribe of Judah that produced the messiah Jesus Christ how can we Paul the apostle Paul said how can the branch say I don't need the roots anymore the roots of our Bible the roots of our faith is the is the Hebrew faith and the land of Israel and the people of Israel we are not just called to love the land of Israel the holy land the land of miracles the land where Jerusalem and Calvary and all of that but we're called to love the Jewish people and we love the Palestinians we love people everywhere but we also know that there there must be there must be sovereignty of their land in Israel and that's why we stand with without a doubt and they were attacked on October 7th every time they're that moral clarity is critically important every time it's show me one time when Israel started a war it's always in a response war from their founding it's always defensive I was asked to go to the white house and meet with 23 of the families of the hostages a couple weeks ago and Charlie I'll never forget that day just hearing one story and they brought posters it was the sweetest thing they would bring their son or their brother or whoever and they would hold that up and they would talk and it was the most moving stories we brought two of the families into the church and I before I preached I interviewed them and they it was it was powerful too this you ask why should we care and why should we connect the church has to connect with Israel and here's a great opportunity to do that we brought them in and they actually they were flown over straight from Israel and they were on a thing to a press deal to to keep one of the things the lady said one of the hostages her husband was being held she said had President Trump not before he was ever even in office he started talking about the hostages better be let go the hostages had he not put that pressure she said we don't believe we would have gotten there our loved ones and by the way her husband's been released the lady that was here but but I wanted to say this the thing that amazed me is when they let they came out and they were they were afraid of how they would be received they had never been in a Christian church never been in a and the crowd stood to their feet and they were cheering and they were and then we prayed they were moved to tears and they found out that Christianity is not what they thought it was that it really we really honor them and love them and care about them and and that that is the witness we must be to the world what what do you have to say for Christians that I don't even want to say are anti-israel but either I've never been to Israel they don't quite understand the significance of it you said it beautifully there would be no salvation there'd be no bible there'd be no savior there'd be none of it without the state of Israel what is Israel meant for your life the first time you went to tell us the story tell us the Jensen Franklin story of going to Israel so I had a friend who uh who wanted me to go with him he would go all the time and so me and my wife had just started just been married and just started in ministry our first year and we went to Israel on his trip sat on the bus went to all the sites I cannot explain for me Charlie there were I've done it I've probably been 30 plus times now taking thousands of people over there and every time I go there's some spot somewhere that we go to that it all hits me again and it makes it so powerful and so fresh every person I'm on a rampage about this so one of the things we're doing is we're setting aside large amounts of money and we're going to start a thing where we have a big youth conference down the road and we have 12,000 teenagers this this is not there this is not college kids this is teenagers and they come to the conference the last week of June and I want to connect that conference to Israel because when I see the protest when I see the craziness on the university all the time we've got to stand up to that you have to and so the the answer is that you hit it right on the head if we can get young people just to go to Israel and let them be there it's a game so we're gonna we're gonna start a trip for young people to go to Israel and and let them have fun and let them ride jet skis on the Sea of Galilee and let them canoe down the Jordan or whatever the Dead Sea exactly and have a great time but at the same time have those moments yep that change everything and solidify your faith instead of going to spring break and getting messed up for the rest of your life why don't you go to Israel and solidify what you have been taught and professors can't change your mind when you go to college I love it Pastor Franklin thank you for all you do and thank you for hosting us here it's an honor free chapel any website or anything you want our audience to be aware of we're just excited you're here thank you for what you do and we stand with right now that is 1-800-4-relief 1-800-4-relief lots to cover here I do want to mention the JFK thing so JFK has not yet been released we sent out a tweet we should probably repost this tweet I believe it was on this would have been on the 19th of January I think we sent out the tweet let me think about this yeah it would have been the 19th of January and we sent out a tweet basically saying listen one of two things will happen with the JFK file release option a is that we're going to learn that the government was involved in the assassination of JFK or number two we're going to learn that the government over classifies everything and there's a bunch of people with job justification you know titles and we shouldn't have classified these documents in the first place I can almost guarantee you that there will not be documents that show that the government killed JFK however I still believe the government was involved in the assassination of JFK so we will we will take a look at that okay so there is a Harvard pulster I'm just doing this live on air I'm doing this for the first time as they would say there's this guy who's very well respected his name is JDV is that right not to be not to be confused with JD Vance what is his name Dela Volpe okay Gen Z's rightward shift what Charlie Kirk understands that Democrats don't economic anxiety institutional distrust and media savvy inside conservatives Gen Z playbook I'm reading this for the first time governor Gavin Newsom podcast with Charlie Kirk founder reveals an irrefutable truth conservatives are winning the youth messaging war though the LA Times called their exchange full-on cringe Kirk's journey from card table and a debate me sign to political influence offers critical insights into Gen Z's rightward shift despite growing backlash to Trump's economic policies and blah blah blah there's a lot to learn Trump claimed his organization achieved a 13-point youth voting swing in just four years while this exact number made it's not dubious he's a dubious guy's totally wrong it's proven actually Republicans have undeniably gained ground with a young with younger voters by building campus infrastructure strategy Democrats have failed to counter throughout his conversation Kirk relied on arguments relied on significant exaggerations well what am I reading here guys okay I don't think he's saying I'm right he's insulting me half the time here okay okay Kirk and his allies have masterfully manufactured cultural issues okay I don't we didn't manufacture anything okay quote today's conservatives have flipped the script entirely they now present themselves as the anti-establishment force well we're not presenting ourselves we are again I don't like the way this is written fighting against what they characterize as corrupt meanwhile Democrats have become defenders of institutional expertise supporting public health authorities election officials intelligence agencies and academic consensus that is absolutely true the contemporary media ecosystem advantages those willing to engage in long-form unscripted conversations without concern for policy precision prioritize emotional resonance over factual accuracy okay whatever all right we're done reading this guy's piece uh the point being is that there they are acknowledging that we have made a significant impact on moving the younger generation to the right the battle for gen z isn't just about winning the next election it's about shaping America's political future for decades to come Kirk's influence demonstrates that the party that best addresses young Americans anxieties about their economic and social prospects could well secure a generational advantage the data is clear younger voters respond to authenticity economic opportunity and genuine engagement with their concerns they're not looking for celebrity endorsements or rehearse talking points they want leaders who understand their lived reality of precarious finances housing insecurity and diminished expectations that my friend is exactly right and despite all the condescension he's a liberal talking about things in the article he is acknowledging that we understand exactly how to communicate to this generation it's true and by the way visiting these campuses i've become pretty i i know how to talk to the next generation pretty well and there is an authenticity to all this and we did what worked and the democrats don't have a messaging answer and let me tell you if the democrats were to do this on campus they would get completely roasted conservatives would come up to guys like whatever destiny or sam cedar and they would make them look like fools like sam cedar was that random youtube guy made sam cedar look like a buffoon and this is a harvard pollster saying thanks so much for listening everybody email us as always freedom at charliekirk.com thanks so much for listening and god bless for more on many of these stories and news you can trust go to charliekirk.com
