Jesus said, Blessed are the persecuted and they are suffering big time right now. This is Bible League International and 19-year-old Aria was beaten by her own father and violated by local authorities. You know what her crime was?

Simply that she gave her life to Jesus Christ after leaving radical Islam. They need Bibles in order to endure and persevere. And that's why Truth Network and Bible League are teamed up to send God's Word to 3500 persecuted believers around the world at $5 a Bible, $100 since 20. Call 800-YES-WORD, 800-YES-WORD, 800-YES-WORD, or give at truthnetwork.com.

This is the Truth Network. It's time to be encouraged. It's time to be lifted up. Welcome to the Broken Steps God cast with the Boss Lady of Gospel, Anita Dean Arnett. Get ready for hope, healing, and health.

Everyone has a story. Watch yours. When someone is grieving, what do you say? Sometimes the best thing you can offer someone who is grieving is just to listen. Just listen. Know that it is okay to talk about his or her feelings. Be considerate.

You personally can't change what is going on, but you can be the one to listen. Everyone grieves differently. Matthew 5 and 4, Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

When you don't know what to say or how to say it, just don't say anything. Just pray. Everyone at any time or another has to deal with grief. Maybe you are grieving over the loss of a relationship, career, loved one, or something else. With so much going on in our cities, our state, and our world, we are all grieving. The world is full of turmoil and grief.

And should I say that again? Full of turmoil and grief. Jesus said himself in John 16 33 that in this world, you will have trouble. Just listen to the news, watch the TV, read your paper, check out social media, trouble and more trouble on every hand. Don't think you are on this island alone.

You are not by yourself. Grief may come at any time in your life. Be sensitive when trying to console someone that is grieving.

Don't ask questions that you wouldn't want someone to ask you. Only someone who has experienced grief can give comfort to those who need comforting. How can you say, I know how you feel when you've never lost anyone close to you. If you are lost for words, simply say, God bless you and let them know that you will keep them and the family in your prayers. God bless you on today.
