What does Max like to talk about, other than hockey, if Adam wants to butter him up? What is Max known for that will help the Canes be more successful? Will Max be able to get along with Burns, after the spicy encounters they’ve had in the past competing against each other?

Alright, sir. You are most familiar with the recent Max Pacioretti form pre Achilles injury. What are the Hurricanes getting when they put him on the ice?

Yeah, they're getting a very good offensive weapon one of the best five on five scores. I believe in the NHL a guy who's just got one of the more impressive snapshot that I've ever seen. He's not a guy that's going to one time the puck unnecessarily. But if you've got a guy that's skating down that right wing and can fire it past the goaltender, there's very few who can do it as well as Max Pacioretti. When healthy, that's obviously been kind of his issue the last couple years. But when he's been on the ice and even though he dealt with a lot of injuries last year with the Golden Knights, every time he got back on the ice, he still seemed to find a way to produce. And so that's what really sticks out in my mind about him is just that magic shot and that magic release that's pulled so many goaltenders in the National Hockey League over the years. Six-time 30 goal scorer, but the last two years with all the missed time, he really was on pace to score probably 40 goals.

He had 19 and 39 games a year ago, 24 and 48 games during the strange conference division only season. I get to know on the ice whole bunch of new guys. Yeah, so that's going to be the real key for him in Carolina because his game really took off with the Knights once they acquired Mark Stone, who of course ultimately became their captain.

And it was a really interesting situation. Those two guys were kind of rivals for a while back in Canada, where Patrick already was captain of the Canadians. They formed this incredible partnership where stone has this amazing vision on the ice. He's such a good path there and then patch already could get open and then finish a bunch of the feeds the stone was giving him. So obviously we'll see who Patrick ready ultimately decides to play with with the Hurricanes, but that was kind of the key for him is finding that guy that knows how to give him the puck knows how to give him it in the right spots where he doesn't need to wait that long to shoot especially in transit. And that was something that Patrick is lying here with Chandler Stevenson and stone was so so good at where Stevenson would have great speed open up ice first two teammates. So would have space to give patch ready the puck patch ready would have space to shoot the pocket and they scored a lot of goals that way. So if the hurricanes can find, you know patch ready a speed component on his line to help him I think that's going to go a long way to help him keeping up all his production from the past couple years.

Oh, and I'm dreaming about patchy ready playing with Sebastian. Oh suddenly we're talking with Van Gogh's Las Vegas Review Journal covers the Golden Knights. All right, so you say that he had this rivalry with Mark Stone from their time with Ottawa and Montreal and patchy ready was with the Canadians. Did he form enough of a hatred for the San Jose Sharks during his time with the Golden Knights and will he be able to get along with Brent Burns? Yeah, we'll have to see obviously, I'm sure there's still some tension mounting between that game seven where that may be a major probably not a major and Cody Eakin was called and ultimately the Knights lost that one in overtime. It'd be funny to see if they traded story patch ready was amazing in that series huge reason why the Knights were able to build a 3-1 lead that they ultimately lost.

But no, I'll be very curious to see how patch ready fits in. He at least knows that he's got people to take his side with Paul Sazny one of his best friends in hockey. So at least you know, if it gets to a tough hole patch ready knows he's got someone who's going to have his back two-on-one because Brent Burns is like two different people anyway, so that would that would probably end up being a fair fight. I've already talked to Paul Paul's very excited about Max getting jumping onto the ice final thing for Ben goats, Las Vegas Review Journal who covered Max patchy ready for his time with the Golden Knights in this system Rod Brind'Amour demands two-way play.

How is Max in that regard and or will the head coach be mad at him? No, I think patch ready especially in the later years with the Knights really grew into that side of the game. That was something that former Knights coach people really emphasized with him. He constantly talked about guys needing to add layers to their game to round out their form and I think that was something he harped on a lot with Max patch ready of you need to add this especially if we're going to play you in all situations in terms of five-on-five. We're going to have you out against the other teams top competition all that stuff. I need to be able to trust you and his last couple years with the Knights. I think patch already did make a lot of strides that line was incredible at five-on-five him Stevenson Stone.

They could play against anybody their numbers were fantastic. So we do think that's come a long way for patch already and I don't think bring the more will have too many issues with him when he finally gets on the ice. Oh, there's there's no question rod is excited about adding the whole package of Max patch already.

All right final thing. What does he like to talk about other than hockey if I have a conversation with Max and want to butter him up. Hey, you want to butter him up talk to him about his kids. He's got a whole hockey team full of them, which is fantastic. I remember he was someone once asked him for advice before becoming a first-time father and patch already his advice was have as many as you can and he is living that advice so far. So good to me. He loves talking about his kids.

I mean, he's very involved in their hockey lives, which is really cool to see and he gets really excited about them. But that's one of my favorite off by stories about back to is enough for me to Ben goats at Ben s goats on Twitter Las Vegas Review Journal. Thank you very much, man. No problem. Thank you.
