On Giving Tuesday, I thought let's check in with our friends at the V Foundation and we have John Allhart, Executive Director of Brand Marketing and Storytelling for the V Foundation. All right, John, tell me a story. It's a big day.

This is basically the kickoff for really maybe more than a week of events surrounded, you know, basically geared towards raising money for cancer research. How are you? I'm doing great. Thanks, Adam. And yeah, this was really our Super Bowl. First go to Team USA. Let's hope they get a big win today.

We'll all be watching at two. And yeah, for the V Foundation, this really is our biggest time of the year when we can collaborate with our founding partner, ESPN, to celebrate Jim, to really educate everyone on the importance of cancer research and how it is saving lives and showing Jim's legacy through. He said, cancer research may not save my life, but it may save the life of someone you love. And thanks to the V Foundation, many lives have been saved.

And so we're looking forward to the rest of Giving Tuesday and then V week, which is really a week plus. Yeah. Look, there's a lot that goes on on this. I know you guys are collaborating with Disney. What are you guys doing?

Yeah. So ESPN is working with Disney and singer-songwriter Allegra miles on a song called stronger than you know. So you'll be seeing that on ESPN, not just this week, but really for the next two years, they will do our support of us in the V foundation and their PSAs that run for about two years at a time. It's an original song developed to support our overall V week efforts or overall partnerships and the work the V foundation does.

So really excited that this is an original song. You'll be seeing a lot of it here over the next, not just week plus, but a couple of years. John Allhart, executive director of brand marketing and storytelling for the V foundation is joining us here. It is Giving Tuesday. There are so many events, so many things that are attached to ESPN, whether it's Vital, whether it's Valvano or Dick Vital, who himself has been staging and to this point, winning a battle with cancer Stewart Scott, uh, as well, what is coming up that kind of connects to those two guys?

Yeah. I mean, you really can't say enough about Dick Vital and how he inspires others and his support of the V foundation. And he has his annual gallon Sarasota every year, this year raised more than $11 million for pediatric cancer research. So ESPN tomorrow night, seven o'clock, they're going to dedicate all programming to rearrange him speech. You're going to see and hear from Dick Vital, Stuart Scott and others to really kick off the V week festivities. One of my favorite moments of the year is they do that complete re air of Jim's time with SB speech that we all remember. And it's hard to believe that that was almost 30 years ago and we're excited and that we'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary coming up March 4th.

It really is. It was just about 30 years ago. Uh, and then Stewart was incredibly moving. Uh, and I know, look, this is sort of unrelated, but I saw Scott van Pelt this summer, uh, receiving an award and, uh, he also, uh, made a moving speech about Stewart and his impact. Uh, Stuart Scott, uh, and he has a, a, a, a, a research fund with us that we raised almost $16 million for on December 3rd. If you're watching ESPN that night, hopefully everyone is UFC is dedicating its fight to the Stuart Scott Memorial cancer research fund. Stuart had a strong connection to mixed martial arts.

He trained during his treatments. This fight like hell night will feature Stuart Scott related content throughout the night. USC is also donating to the Stuart Scott fund. So we're very thankful for that partnership. And then that'll be a great way to sit down and relax and watch some great action this weekend. I always tell people that if you're going to donate to one organization for cancer research, the only place you should go is the V foundation because 100% of the money donated goes to fighting or to finding a cure for cancer.

So, uh, real quick, how can people participate and what should they be looking for? It only happens once a year.
