How To Experience Divine Interventions

This is the Truth Network. As we talk more and more about the way God moves supernaturally, and again, both behind the scenes where we may not be noticing so much, but also out in the open where all can see, the question would be, why would we not see, recognize, and acknowledge that any more than we do? Acknowledge that, meaning His working, His supernatural, unusual working. One thing that you can consider right here, there's a wisdom that comes, really two things. A wisdom comes because of God's Word in our heart, in our mind, the way that we not only read His Word, meditate in His Word, fill our life with His Word, because faith comes by hearing the Word. Faith is not something that originates in the conscious mind, where we generate, you know, as an act of our will, faith. However, there are religions that operate more along that line. But for the Christian believer, the reality is that everything comes from God's Word. Everything will pass away, but the Word of the Lord will never pass away. It's so, you know, it's the center.

It is central, where everything begins for us. So the reality of the Word, in my understanding, causes me even to be able to see the Lord's moving in unusual ways. That's why I say, when you read passages in the Bible that speak of supernatural events, amazing deliverances from harm, breakthroughs in relationship, healings, these things, these things, you can read right over them if there is not a reality and a base of God's Word sort of in your understanding. It's sort of like you're in another, maybe in another plane, actually another universe, because God's Word is central to everything that concerns the Kingdom of God. And that definitely would be our faith.

So to answer the question again, why would we not recognize and see, therefore speak of more often, and really celebrate and worship God in this demonstration of His power? So first of all, the presence of the Word in our lives, and secondly, and it's really connected, these two are really connected, there is a wisdom that we have or do not have that enables us to hear, even when wisdom is spoken to us, when advice, counsel, wise counsel, direction, guidance is given, I find that to the degree the Word of God is my stronghold in my heart, in my mind, in my thinking, it is it is sort of the foundation where I can hear that wisdom, calmly listen, and receive it into my life. You have to receive the things of the Lord. They don't affect me until they don't affect you, they don't affect me, until we actually let them into the heart, into our belief system, into the way that we see.

And you just have to stop talking. Listen, if you knew, you wouldn't be asking or seeking. You are seeking and asking because you don't know. You're looking for wisdom, you're seeking advice, but if you do all the talking, for sure, you cannot hear when wisdom is spoken to you. And you certainly then can't receive it into your life and integrate it and make it a part of the advancement really that God has for you.

You can't receive it and incorporate it in a way that you can participate in His supernatural touch on your physical body, on your heart or mind, in your relationships, in your business decisions, in the way you live your life, in the way that you govern, all of those things. Oh, and let me throw in parenting. Parenting. We need wisdom to parent, to be a parent who speaks for God to the child. You need wisdom.

You need to hear from Him. You need His supernatural working on your end to hear Him and receive what He's saying and then you'd need His supernatural presence in the life of your child so that they then can participate as well. So you see how the connection is connected. It's all connected. Don't leave behind time in God's Word. It is your key. It is your connection to Him, to His presence, therefore to everything that He has for you. His Word is alive and it's active and it's sharper, Hebrews says, sharper than any two-edged sword.

This sword is sharp on both edges. It separates the soul and the spirit and the joint and the mara and is the discerner of the intent of the heart. It works supernaturally in my life to go down into every fiber of my being and change me. God's Word is the key. So Father, today we pray for a revelation and an enlightenment for each person listening in each life that there come an explosion of a thirst and a hunger for your Holy Word, that your words are spirit and they are life and we say, we declare this is our confession.

We need your Word. We need the life that is in and upon your Word. We need your breath breathed on that Word to make it alive within us, on the inside, from the inside out. Jesus said, it's not the things that a man takes into his body that defiles him but that which comes out. Your Word in our heart becomes your Word in our mouth so that what comes out of us is not defiled but is like you.

Lord, it is like you. It speaks what you speak and directs as you direct. God, this is our prayer today that your Word would become sweet in our mouths like honey and that we would speak your Word. This is our prayer. This is our declaration. This is our confession. The basis of all wisdom, the Word of God. In Jesus' name, we pray and we thank you, Father, and we love you today.

Listen, do not forget, do not forget, the Word is clear. We have the mind of Christ. Therefore, we think like him. He is a king. He is a king. He is the king of kings.
